The Devil Slayer, ms the DevilSlayer minus my one hundred percent other half,
who is missus devil Slayer. Sheis doing some great things that I
won't reveal right now. I'll lether do the talking. I'm in the
studio by myself, and we apologizefor the late entrance today. Uh,
(00:24):
this storm has affected a lot ofpeople. So uh, but we're here,
We're here, we are here,We're here at the right time.
Hallelujah. So hello everybody. Hello, Happy Monday. Jerry the Batman always
holding us down. Hello, positivepower, uh listeners and uh positive power
(00:50):
family. Hello to anybody who's goingthrough something today among all days, you
know, with just like Paula justyou know, there's the storm, but
then you got to ride it out. You know that. You know when
the situation is looking bleak, Whenthe situation looks bleak, you know we
(01:11):
have to we have to look atthe blessing. Jerry, did you say
something? Okay, cook, good, good, good, all right?
When when a situation is bleak, you gotta look at the blessing. You
know, when the situation is dark, you gotta look at the blood.
You know, when a situation istelling you know you gotta look at Holy
(01:34):
Spirit who always says yes to you, hallelujah. Understand what I'm saying to
you. Let's praying because we're runninga little late now because of that.
Let's praying, hallelujah. We thankyou, Father God in the name of
Jesus. That the word that willcome off the lips of the Man of
God, which is me, isof you and none of me. It's
all of you and none of me. Hallelujah. Let's get into it.
(02:00):
That's dig deep, Father God,and and and and and control my vocal
cords. Father God, control myvocal cords. So everything is of the
Word of God today and then hallelujahand Jesus Name Amen. So so so
a couple of weeks ago, uh, we talked to we were talking to
(02:21):
you about how to uh stand upuh for Christ, like like like Christ
needs really somebody to stand up forhim, right, But what I mean
is is that you know there aresome individuals out there that will downplay Christ
(02:44):
and the goodness of Christ. Therewill down play his very existence. And
so there's nothing wrong with you standingup and saying no Christ exists, And
yeah, I I am a Christianand yeah, I'm not afraid of talking
about Christ, talking about the Gospel, speaking about the Word of God.
(03:08):
And if you say that the Wordof God is a lie, well I'm
just going to let you know it'snot a lie and there's nothing wrong with
speaking like that. So I wantto come from a different angle today.
I want to come from a differentangle of how you can stand up for
Christ, or stand up for Christianity, or stand up for the faith.
(03:30):
Okay, stand up for the faithin your face with people who don't believe.
But there's a whole different angle thatthe Lord showed me. Okay,
So I remember the movie from I'mgoing to say it's the late nineties or
the early two thousands. I can'tbelieve pinpoint it. But it was a
(03:50):
movie with Sylvester Stallone and Wesseley Snipesand Jerry Maybe you remember the movie.
Maybe you could chime in. Thename of the movie was Sylvester Stallone and
Wesley Snipes and it was based onIt's based on where the move in the
movie, the SYLVESTERI Stallone and WesleySnipes are frozen. They're frozen in the
(04:15):
past, right and they the moviesetting is in the future setting so however,
they were frozen, they get unfrozenin the future setting. So I'm
going to say that it was thetwentieth century and they got it was it
was in the twentieth century that theygot frozen, and they're now unfrozen in
(04:40):
the futuristic twenty first century. Okay. So they wake up in this futuristic
society where everything is so technologically advancedthat you have flying cars. It's a
cast a society. It's a touchit's a it's a touch less society.
The civilization is so advanced that theydon't even touch anybody anymore. Okay.
(05:05):
It's so advanced that it's even forbiddento touch the next person. They don't
hold hands, they can't even kiss, and they don't even have sex.
They don't have sex anymore, okay, and I believe to have babies.
There's some type of futuristic artificial insemination, and it's so accepted by mainstream society
(05:30):
at large. It has become away of life where it is deemed normal
not to be able to touch eachother, not to kiss, to feel,
to feel the next person, tokiss the next person's it's an actual
abomination. There's no touching going onin this society. You see, the
people in that society, in thatsocietal setting lived in fear because what had
(05:58):
happened was earlier, years earlier, there was a disease that wiped out a
large portion of the population, andit was believed that it was caused from
body to body contact. Like Ithink the disease spread from body to body
contact. Okay, so they stoppedphysically touching each other in the name of
(06:19):
survival. This is all the movie, okay. I mean, like,
what type of world is that tolive in that type of society where you
don't touch at all? I mean, thank god we are humane enough and
understand the value of touch, interminglingand the act of what leads to the
(06:40):
conception of our babies, right,I mean, thank god that we aren't
living in that type of society today, right amen. And I mean,
of course, I mean, wewant to be married before we decide to
indulge in you know, making babies, of course, But thank god we
don't live in a society like thatwhere there's a law actually enacted that's put
(07:02):
in a place where you can't touchthe next person. It's it's normal for
you not to touch, not tohug, not to hold on. You
can't you can't even shake somebody's hand. You can't give a group hug.
You can't give us even a sidehug. Imagine if you couldn't do that,
(07:24):
Just think about that. Imagine now, imagine a society that is totally
cashless, where physical money has novalue, like in a movie. I
wish I could remember the name ofthe movie. When I remember that,
I get back to you, guys, But it's it's it's that cashless society
part. That's what I wanted totalk about because something transpired the other day
(07:49):
with me and the advent of acashless society looming on the threshold of our
society today today. So I recentlyrealized right that I don't have I don't
carry cash anymore. I'm just comingto that understanding now. The funny thing
(08:11):
is about my wife has been talkingto me about this for years. She
even gets upset at me because becausesometimes she needs cash, and she says,
hey, why don't you ever havecash on you? And she says,
it's not responsible not to have cashon But I'm not cash. We
touches cash anymore. Everything is nowbeing secured wherever we go or do whatever
(08:33):
we do through credit cards and debitscards, credit and debt. That's all
we do. We now bout.We even buy our groceries with it now
online, our products, our items, and most of what we do we
purchase it. We purchase it online. Literally, we purchase it online.
When we eat out, it's creditor debit. Or look, look,
(08:56):
look, you can go to restaurantsnow everything is on a kiosk. You're
sitting down at the at the atthe at the at the desk, at
the table, and you order froma kiosk. That's everything. Things things
are like that now. It seemsthat with the advent of COVID coming in
and then leaving or you know, has been corrected something something like that,
(09:20):
so many things that we do inlife has changed to the point where we
don't interact with each other or thingslike we used to. It used to
be something special when you left paperdollar bills on the table for your weight
or your waitress, and and andnow you already see them anymore, because
(09:41):
all things is done now through akiosks, including the tips. You don't
even get to go and see howelated their faces look when they see the
dollars. The big tip that youleave them, they're just gone. They're
gone out on to the next one. You don't even see them anymore.
So as a testament to this, right, I work for the train system
(10:03):
now right, and I make announcementsfor the train system that I work for.
So they have prescribed announcements that wehave to memorize and relay. We
relay those messages to the passengers. So of course I memorize them to the
letter. But when I say them, when I or rate them, I
(10:24):
put my duain sauce on it.I put the past, the duane effect
on it, you know. Andso you know, when I put the
effect on it, I always geta positive response from the passagers. They
always come up to me and thankme for my announcements, being so kind
and warm hearted. And in myyoung time in this career, I've already
(10:48):
received two recommendations or two recommendation awardsfrom my superiors. I'm not shown off
because there's all God, but thatyou know, it's obviously I'm as it
called, I'm sewing. I'm reapingwhat I'm sowing. Okay, So,
but lately, lately right who I'veseen individuals on the trains that are not
(11:13):
moved at all by the warmth andkindness of my announcements. People are so
unmoved by them. It's like it'slike I didn't even say anything. And
you know, what I try todo is write. See because I could
see the people after I make theannouncements. I can see their faces,
and their faces are like stern. They're not not moving. It's like cold,
(11:35):
right, And so what I'll dois I add some humor to it,
like a little little light humor. And still I don't get nothing.
I don't get nothing. So butof course I'm not people there, So
I keep on doing what I'm doing. I keep on making announcements how I
make them because I'm thinking to myself, you know, I'm looking at giving
(11:56):
them the benefit of the doubt, and in some sort of way, I'm
impact in their lives in some sortof way, like like maybe I'm planning
a seed of kindness to them,Jerry, you know what I mean.
You know, I'm planning a seedof kindness in them in some sort of
way that will manifest itself at somepoint, triggering a spark that you know,
that will make them do something kindto someone else in the future.
(12:18):
You know what I mean, Jerry. It's like it's like I'm praying that,
you know, in some sort ofway, I'm affecting them, even
though I don't see it now.But my point is right. My point
is that they're so cold, almostlike machines. Their faces their stone.
People's eyes are so transfixed upon theirphones that they've lost a touch with reality.
(12:43):
It's the phones. It's the phones, unable to they're unable to notice
a kind gesture, or they're noteven able to notice an unkind gesture because
it's so deeply involved in their phone. Let me give you an example.
Let me get an example. Therewas this guy in the train right yelling
(13:03):
to the top of his lungs, and nobody made a sound. They just
ignored him. They're unafraid. Theywere so much into their phones, Jerry,
that they were unmoved, they wereunmoved, just and they were so
cold, right that they were unfazed, unmoving. No one responded to him.
(13:31):
And guess what, nobody was evenafraid of this guy. So I
had to come out of my caband I had to tell him, hey,
you know, stop yelling, youknow, relax. But guess what.
Nobody offered me assistance. No onelooked at me in a pleated way
to say, yeah, yeah, make this guy stop. They were just
they were just frozen. They justkept on looking at their phones, unamused
(13:54):
at me the hero who came andrescued him. So guess what I did.
I went back to my cab becauseno one seemed to care. No
one seemed to care until later on, this elderly lady, she came up
to me and finally said, Hey, there's a crazy guy in the car.
Can you help out? And that'swhen I called the Paul Paul when
(14:15):
the poor pope came and they tookhim out the car. But most of
the people, Jerry, seriously, they didn't care. Cold. So the
word says in Matthew twenty four, verse twelve, and the amplifier says,
because lawlessness has increased the love ofmost people will grow cold. It's the
(14:39):
phones. The cell phones and whatthey are so transfixed upon, had left
people unfeeling, unafraid, unmoved, ignoring all that is around them and whatever
(15:00):
check this out and whatever they arewatching, whatever they are listening to.
They are becoming, or already havebecome they have become whatever they're listening to,
whatever they're looking at. And withthe adding of COVID, this this,
this, this six foot rule, right, people are now so affixed
(15:24):
to it still in their mind thatit has become a mental thing, almost
to the point that no one wantsto be close to anyone anymore, or
if they do, they got anattitude. And let me tell you something,
Jerry, let me tell you something. I am not excluded. I'm
not excluded from this because listen, this is what we're gonna call this.
(15:46):
We are now gonna call Mondays admittedMondays. Okay, we're gonna call it
admitted Mondays. It's when we admitthat we know that with our condemnation,
but we know that there's something thatwe got to improve. That's what I'm
going to say. I am notexcluded. I'm not excluded from it.
Just because I'm a pastor. Thatdoesn't mean nothing. Because let me tell
(16:07):
you something. When I get onthe train, when I'm a civilian,
I try to sit in the furthestseat, in the furthest corner away from
everybody, and in my mind,if someone comes and sits a cross from
me, in my head, I'mlike, oh man, now I gotta
breathe in this this this person gottabreathe in my direction. That's how I'm
(16:27):
acting sometimes. So every time Icatch myself, and I catch myself because
I'm a Christian, all right now, I'm not supposed to be thinking that
way. So you know what Igot. When I catch myself, I
always repent and and you know,I try to get used to the people
around me. But the funny thingis that in the movie, that's how
everyone was. It's like this thismovie was made in like over twenty thirty
(16:52):
years, almost twenty years ago,and it almost show what civilization is like
now, you see, because whathappened was Wesley and stalloneet defrausted in the
movie in the future society, andso they still have the twentieth century mindset
of thinking of touching a feeling, right, so no one wants to touch
(17:15):
them or just be close to them, and they make these weird faces every
time Wesley tried or Stallone tries totouch one of them. So I think
at one point right in the movie, Sylvester tries to kiss this woman and
she makes a face a pure disgustbecause she is afraid that she will die
(17:36):
from the bodily fluids being secreted fromhim to her through the kiss. And
here I am in my mind,I'm thinking I'm going to catch some airborne
disease from the homi's sitting across fromme. So it's a fear. It's
the cell phones, it's even thecasier society. But before I continue to
(17:57):
talk about the casher society and howit affected me, just a couple of
hours earlier, when I was onthe train coming home, and I'm sitting
down preparing for the special message thatI'm discussing right now. Right as I'm
doing this, as I'm going overthings on my phone, right, I
noticed something that is trickling down myleg. And Lord behold, I carry
(18:22):
this bleach in my bag, right, and now it's leaking all over my
pants. So I'm like hamming ahorn to myself, right, And this
woman who's sitting right next to meoffered me some wet wipes, and of
course I refused, because you know, strange the danger, right, I
refused, but I was nice aboutit, you know, I said,
(18:42):
no, it's okay. And thenGod made me realize something. God made
me realize that here I am talkingabout the coldness of people on the train,
thinking about it, what I'm goingto talk about today, and here
it is. I finally send yousomeone to show you mind, Walf,
and you rebuff her. I waslike, oops, sorry, sorry,
(19:03):
daddy, my fault, My fault. So I struck up a conversation with
this nice lady right because she wasvery kind, and I found out her
name was Vicki. So she's SisterVicki. And guess what, she's a
Christian and she takes a grandma tochurch as well, so she has such
a kind and humble soul. Andshe listened to me and I told her
(19:26):
what I was writing about and whatI wanted to mention. You know that
I'm going to mention her on mywife's radio show. So she immediately took
the link and she said that shewould listen in. So she should be
listening right now. So this isfor you, Sister Vicki. We dedicate
I'm dedicating this show to Sister Vickiand all of those other kind souls out
(19:48):
there who make an impact on individuals. And I just wanted to say to
you, Sister Vicki and all thesister Vicki's and victors out there. You
had moved me with your kindness. You're moving with your kindness, and I
wanna tell you, and thus saidthe Lord, never stop being kind and
(20:12):
moving at the promptings of the HolySpirit, because it was Holy Spirit who
prompted you, sister Vicki, tomove when you did on my behalf to
help me. So she took myIG and I'm going to keep in touch
with her, all right, Soyou know, I'm gonna give her information,
(20:34):
her IG information to my wife whoWe're gonna keep in touch with her
because she has a she has areal good she has a real good energy.
And uh, you know, maybeone day one of I had to
come to the show because I knowshe got a story to tell, and
I know it's gonna be full ofGod's glory. Amen. Amen. So
shouts out to you, sister Vicki, for you being used as a mighty
(20:57):
vessel of God. So amen. So, speaking of vessels, let's finished
talking about this cash society and howI fall into this. So people nowadays
don't even wanna deal or even touchmoney anymore because it's deemed dirty. It's
a nuisance. In fact, everytime I touch money, I wash my
(21:18):
hands and I sanitize them after I'mdone with it. No, literally,
since I d I do this,I do this. So I don't carry
money anymore. Alright, So thisis where it gets interesting, you see.
You see, I'm an advocate forthe needy. As you know,
(21:40):
we go out and we feed theneedy. If you didn't know, me
and my wife, we feed theneedy. Okay, we feed the homeless,
alright. We feed those, Weclothe them, we give them shoes,
uh uh, we give'em toilettrees, and we give'em salvation
if they want it, okay. And so I have a heart for these
types of things because as a child, I was impoverished, always wearing holy
(22:04):
clothes, and I don't mean therighteous clothes neither. I'm always hungry,
going to soup kitchens every day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, being
picked on because of it, wearingdirty, raggedy clothes, same pair of
pants every day. Everyone had snacksexcept for me outside, you know,
(22:26):
real poverty stuff. Really, Sonow that I'm like, I'm not like
that anymore. I have a heartto those who are on worse situations.
In me, well, I giveI'm not showing off. I'm just saying
I give. Even though I wasnever homeless, I was almost homeless.
We got kicked out the projects.Like who gets kicked out the projects?
(22:49):
If you get kicked out the projects, you are in poverty. And so
yeah, I would admit it.We got kicked out the projects when I
was a teenager. So I don'tlike seeing anybody in that, you know,
in that condition. And you knowwhat, we're gonna know the time
now because we came on late.So I'm gonna finish up this story next
(23:15):
week cause you know we we weliterally had to get on late because of
the storm. Okay, we're gonnacome back next week and we're gonna finish
this up, and I'm gonna showyou. I'm'a give you some things where
you can stand up for the faith. We don't have to stand up for
Christ. Christ don't need no defense, but we could still stand up for
(23:38):
the faith when you got those thattry to come against us, not even
come against us, but when yougot those that try to say that Jesus
doesn't exist, or the Bible's alie, or whatever the case. Because
there's only one thing that's a lie. And that's satan. Amen ay man.
(24:02):
Well, it's good to be back. It's good to talk to you
guys. It's good to belive. It's good to to know that you're alive
with the blood of Christ over you, hallelujah. And this is a time
where, uh, if you're ina p impoverous situation, if you're in
a needy situation, or if youjust want Christ to enter your life because
(24:27):
you're just tired of being tied, this is the place to do it.
And you can do it right nowby repeating after me, Father God,
I recognize that I'm a sinner,and I don't wanna sin anymore. I
(24:48):
recognize that Jesus Christ sacrifice his lifeon the cross for me, for my
sins, for my iniquities, formy infirmities, for my guilt, for
my doubt, for my condemnation, and for my shame. And I want
(25:12):
him to come into my life nowto shape me, to hold me,
to remold me, to rebuild meinto what you God want me to be.
I repent of my sins, whichmeans I wanna make a hundred and
(25:36):
eighty degree turn to what you Godwant me to be. In Jesus' name,
amen. If you said that prayer, you're in. You're in the
winning crew. Now you are savedfrom the crown all the way to the
crown of your head to the soleof your feet. Now, my beautiful,
(26:00):
my wife, just walk into thestudio. I want her to tell
you, because I'll mess it up. I want her to tell you how
you can stay in touch with Oh, she looks so beautiful today. Hey,
hey, hey. You can alsoreach out to us on Facebook Devil
Slayer's kid Dwayne. You know whereto catch us on the gram, at
(26:22):
the Love Chapters pod, and alsovia email UFL Ministries I INTL at gmail
dot com. Hallelujah, So wethank you for hanging out with us.
Listen, let me tell you somethingnow that you got saved a thousand names,
just goverifie a thousand names was magnified, we will come. We wilcome
(26:48):
you today. Welcome to the Familyof God. Yeah yeah, yeah,
all right, guys, we'll seeyou next week. And like we always
say, God, Jesus and theHoly Spirit loves you more. Shot for
now, that's right. Let metell you why will you stop God to
(27:18):
so God to talk about will listopGod? He said, we'll look up
God and God is don't know whatI'm talking about. Let me tell you.
We'll lift up God and check thisout God. God. Let me
bring it down to God, Jesus. Toward the time Chet told me,
God, help the stop the bloodwet the mea
