Speaker 6 (04:04):

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Discouraging, maybe some discouraging news they receive today, maybe just
just in a past couple of minutes.
Speaker 6 (04:13):
Lord, we have tune our ears, our hearts.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
So what you want to say to us tonight, would
you give you all the praise, honor and glory for it?
Speaker 6 (04:22):
Have your way, holy spirit, man and man.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
You know with that prayer. I in the spirit.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
I see that I see and I can sense a
spirit of burning being uplifted off of somebody. That can
see the spirits of heavness coming coming off of somebody.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
I can sense it.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
The spirit of dread, I sense it, and uh, and
I see it off of them. The monkey on the
back is off of them, the chip on your shoulders off. Hallelujah,
the name of Jesus. I sense it. Deliverance just from
that prayer right there, and then Hallelujah, hallelujah, and will
(05:05):
come to you today out of Proverbs twenty eight thirteen.
So Ben, can you read Proverbs twenty eight thirteen?
Speaker 5 (05:15):
Aymen, whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he
who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Amen.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
That's that's verse twenty eight. I'm sorry, that's chapter twenty eight,
verse thirteen. Now, I just wanting to talk about me
for one quick second. I'm a proud man, uh, And
sometimes I don't want to even say proud. What I
(05:47):
want to say is when I fasten my teeth onto
something or my hand on something, and.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
I know that I got it, I got it.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
And I run with it, and I've runed hard because
I believe that I'm I'm doing it. I'm being let
by Christ. However, every once in a while, sometimes all
things could be of There could be things that I
think that I'm doing for Christ or or through Christ,
(06:17):
or because God told me to do it. Sometimes let's
just say, there's always correction that.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
Can be done.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
And there was something that I was talking about on
the show last week.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
I went hard.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
I went in hard, and I have to admit that
I went in hard and I wasn't completely right. It's there.
I have to confess that there was more to it.
(06:56):
Not that I was lying or I was omitting. It's
just that I didn't know.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
And so.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
For one whole week I did an intense talking with
God about what we talked what I talked about last week,
and what we talked about last week was salvation, and
we talked about how to attain a choir or get salvation, okay,
(07:26):
and we we was coming out of Romans ten verse
nine that says that we must confess with our mouth out.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
Loud that Jesus is Lord and Savior. Right in fact,
can you read that Romans ten verse nine.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
Sure that if that excuse me, that if that shout
confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shout believe this.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Must be King James, h King James.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
And shout believe in thine heart that God has.
Speaker 6 (08:01):
Raised him from the dead. Uh huh shad that shall
be saved. Holland Loujah.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness, and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Right exactly exactly.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
So we read here basically that if you believe in
your heart right, then you confess with your mouth that Jesus,
Lord and Savor you're saved.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
So you have to believe it first in your heart,
and then you have to say it. You have to confess.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
Now.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
The reason why I preached on this and I.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
Believed in it is because that's what I've been taught.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
That's what that's that's their life.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:44):
That that most Christians lived, Okay, But upon further examination, a.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Blood relative of minds.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
Said that there's a there's another way. Yeah, and and
and they told me that you don't have to confess
with your mouth that Jesus's Lord and savior. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:09):
And there's a whole set of Christianity that also believes that.
So I came on because I know what the Word
tells me. The Word is telling me straight to my faith,
straight to everybody's face, that you have to confess that
Jesus is Lord and Savior. You have to confess it,
what it's it. You have to believe in your heart
(09:29):
and confess with your mouth.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
So when we go around and we tell people, hey,
you want to get saved, Hey, you can say this prayer,
you can say the sentence prayer, right, you could say
this confession right, and then boom, You're saved, right right?
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Amen. So I'm here to tell you that there's a
better way. Okay. In fact, my spiritual when I how
can I say this?
Speaker 1 (10:06):
When I was preparing discernment for last week, right.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
In the back of my mind, I can hear a
voice telling me that what I was about to teach
(10:38):
is not totally is I'm going to be. I'm going
to be teaching something else after what I'm teaching.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
That's what I heard.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
I didn't understand it, but I'm like, no, no, I'm
going in.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
I'm going in on this one.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
So I got this say that there was some emotion there.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
But what I heard as I was preparing to talk
to you guys about this last week was I'm going
to be going to be practicing something different, which is
going to make me live something different.
Speaker 6 (11:21):
That's a word.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
So that's why I got.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
I had to start with Proverbs twenty eight thirteen.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prossible, but he who
confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. Okay, so I
have to I had to repent after what I found out, Okay,
because it says in verse twenty three Proverbs twenty eight,
verse twenty three, what does it say bad?
Speaker 5 (11:46):
It says one's pride will bring him low.
Speaker 6 (11:52):
But he who is slowly in spirit will obtain power.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
Okay, So I had to eat a piece of humble pie.
I had to eat a piece of humble pie because
once God made me to realize that some of it
was out of emotion. You see, we studied to show
ourselves approved, and sometimes we allow tradition to supersede even
(12:25):
studying the word for ourselves, or we take it for granted,
and then we run to it because our father has
taught us this. And then our great grandfathers and our grandfathers.
They all taught us this through the traditions of man,
and so we believe that it's correct, and so we
go out and then we then then we speak about it.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
We preach it as far as the leaders are concerned.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
But my spiritual father found out something that God was
telling me that.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
I was going to be doing something different, and.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Then he told us before.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
He told us, well, God was telling me in the
back of my mind that there's something more. So then
he That's how I know it's the Holy Spirit, because
he told us what the truth is. And so now
I know that there's more than what I taught last week.
So let's let's let's let's dig into this. Let's dig
(13:23):
into this. So we're talking about salvation. Last week we
were talking about confessing with your mouth or not. So
let's go to what first. We gotta go ovote who
is salvation for? Okay, who's salvation for? So if you
go to fet Timothy chapter one, verse three and four,
(13:43):
we're gonna be coming out of the es V version.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
What does it say, babe? First Timothy chapter one, verse three,
What does it say?
Speaker 6 (13:49):
Says? This is good?
Speaker 5 (13:52):
And it is pleasing in the sight of God, our savior.
Speaker 6 (13:57):
Who desires all people to to be saved and to
come to the knowledge of the truth.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
Right, So, so what does it say here.
Speaker 6 (14:10):
So we can openly and plainly see m h that.
Speaker 5 (14:17):
Who desires all people to be saved and to come
to the knowledge of the truth?
Speaker 3 (14:22):
Right?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
That was four right? Right? He wants everybody to be saved.
God wants everybody to be saved.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
So who is salvation for a salvation is for everybody? Okay?
Speaker 1 (14:36):
All right?
Speaker 4 (14:36):
But look what it says, say is who desires all
people to be saved and to come to the knowledge
of the truth.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
That means that there's a process.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Okay, God wants everybody to be saved, So that means
people are not saved, but there's a process.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
To becoming saved.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
There is a process that you have to go through, okay,
and most people would think that it's for Timothy ten
verse nine, it says you have to confess with your mouth.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
After you believe being hot. Right, all right, so we
can open the endplane.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
You see that salvation is for everyone all anyone can
get it, right, Okay, So let's come to answer. So
we know that salvations for every is for everybody. It's
open invitation for everybody. Okay, But now is it earned?
How do you get it? Is it something we have
to work for, must be toil to get it? The
(15:36):
answer to that question is no, it's absolutely free.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
You don't have to work for it at all.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
So you say, well, what's the process.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
If we don't have to work for it, then that's
all we know is to work. You gotta work, you
see what I'm saying to get anything you want, right,
But for this, you don't have to do anything. It's
a gift. It's a gift. Now, let me explain to
you about a gift.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
Right.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
My wife bought me a wonderful gift, which I'll explain
you all later on.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
But she bought me a wonderful gift.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
It's a gift that I always wanted, but I never
was able to get it, Okay, and she bought it
for me. I'll expand upon what it wasn't another time. Right,
But I always believed that I couldn't get this gift.
In order to get it, I knew I had to
have like three jobs to get it, Okay, whatever the case.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Anyway, she gave me the gift. So I got the gift.
It's a present, it's a gift. It's wonderful.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
Right.
Speaker 4 (16:41):
Well, what if I went out there and still had
to work? What if I went out there and still
found three jobs to get that gift? She already gave
it to me. So why am I going out there
to hustle and bustle to get three jobs to get
the gift that she already gave to me. That's what
(17:02):
the gift is. That's what salvation is. Salvation is a gift.
You don't have to do anything. Ephesians two, verse eight
and nine tells it to you, And the New Living Translation.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Was it, say, bab.
Speaker 5 (17:18):
It says God saves you by his grace when you believe.
And you can't take credit for this. It is a
gift from God. Yes, salvation is not a reward for
the good things we have done. So none of us
can boast about it.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Exactly.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
So the gift that my wife gave me, I can't
boast about that. I can't say I got it because
she got it for me. She got it for me
if I work three jobs or whatever the case, and
saved up as much as I could, no matter what
she already got it for me.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
I don't need to do it. It's something that's already done.
Speaker 5 (17:50):
I see where we go and doubles, I see it.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
Read it out of the King's Ephesians two, verse eight
and nine.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Out of the king James.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
James, Yeah, okay, Ephesians two, chapter eight. For by grace
you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves.
It is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
Should boast exactly exactly. So how did we get to
the salvation?
Speaker 3 (18:24):
How was it done?
Speaker 1 (18:26):
By?
Speaker 3 (18:27):
What means was it done?
Speaker 4 (18:30):
Like?
Speaker 3 (18:32):
Who do we get it through? Salvation? Salvation has gotten
through who?
Speaker 4 (18:37):
Let's go to Romans sixth verse twenty three out of
the ESV version.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
Again, what does it say twenty.
Speaker 5 (18:45):
That was Ephesians chapter two, verse eight that I read.
Now we're going to Romans chapter six, verse twenty three.
And the es fee for the wages of sin is death.
But the free gift of God is eternal life in
Christ Jesus our Lord.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
So where where do we get it from?
Speaker 6 (19:04):
I get it from Christ, Jesus our Lord.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
All right.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
So with that being said, you would think that you
go so to this's a process right.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
We don't have to work.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
You don't have to work for this process, right, And it's.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
A gift, right, it's a gift, and the gift is
from the eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Right,
all right, So then that would mean that you go
back to Romans ten verse nine. That says that that's
enough that we believe.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
Right. It says, for by grace you have been saved
through faith.
Speaker 4 (19:42):
Faith is belief, right, you believe right, and that that
this gift was gotten through the eternal life in Christ Jesus.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Right, it's a free gift. Right, so we will sell.
So you got the you got the belief in your heart.
Not the next thing to do is confess it.
Speaker 4 (19:59):
As Romans ten verse nine says, you confess that, right,
and then.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Boom, you're safe.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
Right, all right, So now it says go to Romans
for verse for the version again, was it saying.
Speaker 5 (20:12):
Now to the one who works, his wages are not
counted as a gift, but as his.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
Do exactly, So you can work till your drop.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
I'm sorry, excuse me, thank you, thank you. You can
work to your drop. You can do whatever it is,
you can do, whatever good deed you want to do.
Whatever the case, that does not equal up to salvation.
In Christ. You can hold the door open for all
the old women in the world, you can carry old
(20:44):
men on your back across the street. You can say
the little kittens out of the tree forever in life.
That does not equal to salvation. That all of that
is your own works, that's your own effort, that's your
own doings.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
Those are your own. That's not how you get salvation understood, understood?
Speaker 4 (21:04):
Okay, So again, through what means are we saved? Let's
go to John nineteen, verse thirty and an NIV transition.
Speaker 5 (21:12):
Was it say when he had received a drink, Jesus said,
it is finished with that.
Speaker 6 (21:18):
He bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Amen. Amen.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
So it's only through his spirit. It's only through his
spirit that we got saved. Okay, it's only through his
spirit that one could get saved. There is nothing that
we could have done, There's no price we could have paid.
(21:44):
There was nothing because he did it all right. He
said it's finished right, and that was it. And to
give a more background, a more of a let's go
to another scripture, Acts four, verse eleven twelve and the
English ESV.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Again, what does it say?
Speaker 5 (22:05):
This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you,
the builders, which has.
Speaker 6 (22:10):
Become the cornerstone. And there is salvation, and no one
else before.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
There is no other name under heaven getting among men
by which.
Speaker 6 (22:23):
We must be saved.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
There's there's your We put the scripture of your scripture
that backs everything that we're talking about.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Okay, So who so how can we be saved? How
can we receive salvation? Now?
Speaker 4 (22:43):
How can we receive this gift? How can we get
this eternal life in Christ? How can we grasp at
this salvation?
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (22:55):
How do we get it? Okay?
Speaker 4 (22:57):
Romans ten, verse nine says what we get it by
believing in our heart and with our mouth, believe in
our heart, confessing my mouth.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
Hold that pause, let's go the loop I'm holding. Let's
see who in scripture we see salvation.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
We see salvation saying yeah, let's see, let's go.
Speaker 6 (23:24):
Yeah, we're going somewhere. Let's hold on to your hat.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
Let's gold the loop twenty three thirty two to forty three.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
All right, read a little faster day two others.
Speaker 6 (23:34):
Both criminals were let out to be executed with him
when they came to a place called the Skull. They
nailed him to the cross, and.
Speaker 5 (23:42):
The criminals were also crucified, one on his right and
one on his left.
Speaker 6 (23:48):
Keep going, Jesus said.
Speaker 4 (23:50):
Sorry, we're reading from Luke twenty three to thirty two
to forty three esv.
Speaker 5 (23:53):
Going, Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they
are doing. And the soldier gambled for his clothes by
throwing dice. The crowd watched, and the leader scoffed. He
saved others. They said, let him save himself if he
is really God's Messiah, the chosen One. The soldiers mocked
him too by offering him a drink of sour wine.
Speaker 6 (24:15):
They called out to him, if you are the King
of Jews, save yourself.
Speaker 5 (24:20):
A sign was fastened above excuse me. A sign was
fastened above him with these words, this is the king
of the Jews. One of the criminals hanging beside him scoffed,
So you're the Messiah?
Speaker 6 (24:33):
Are you prove it by saving yourself and us too?
Why you're at it?
Speaker 5 (24:39):
But the other criminal protested, don't you fear God even
when you have sentenced to die. We deserve to die
for our crimes. But this man hasn't done anything wrong.
Then he said, Jesus, remember me when you come into
your kingdom. And Jesus replied, I assure you today you
(25:00):
will be with me in paradise.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
Did he say this in his prayer?
Speaker 1 (25:05):
He didn't say this. Did he say Romans ten, verse nine.
Speaker 6 (25:08):
Maybe he said it in silence to himself.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
All that hold that, hold that?
Speaker 1 (25:14):
But no, not who else? The woman who was to
be stone, he said it, she's she. Let's go there.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Let's go the woman that that was to be stoned.
Okay that the adults, Yeah, yeah, let's go there.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
John eight, verse one to eleven. The in the standard version,
I'll read that, okay. But Jesus went to the Mount
of Olives. Early in the morning, he came again to
the temple. All the people came to him, and he
sat down and taught them.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
The scribes and the fallacies.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
Brought a women who have been caught in adultery, and
placing her in the midst They said to him, teach her.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
This woman has been caught in the act of adultery.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
Now in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such
a woman. So what do you say this, they said,
to test him that they might have some charge to
bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his
finger on the ground, And as they continued to ask him,
he stood up, and he said to them to let
him who was without sin among you, be the first
(26:16):
to throw a stone at her.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
And once more he bent down and rolled on the ground.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
But when they heard it, they went away one by one,
beginning with the old ones, and Jesus was left alone
with the woman standing before him.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Jesus stood up and said to her, woman, where are they?
Has no one condemned you? She said, no one, Lord,
And Jesus said.
Speaker 6 (26:38):
Neither do I condemn you. Go and from now on
sin no more. One of the most popular verses in scripture.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
Exactly did she say?
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Romans did?
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Ten?
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Verse nine, She didn't.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
Let's school to mark five twenty five, verse thirty four.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Another woman, this is your blood log five rose twenty
five to thirty four.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
Did you want to read?
Speaker 5 (27:05):
And there was a woman who had had a discharge
of blood for twelve years, and who had suffered much
under many physicians, and had spent all that she had,
and was no better, but rather grew worse. She had
heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him
in the crowd and touched his garment. For she said,
if I touch even his garments, I will be made well.
(27:29):
And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she
felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.
And Jesus, perceiving in himself that power had gone out
from him, immediately turned about in the crowd and said,
who touched my garments?
Speaker 6 (27:45):
And his disciples said to him.
Speaker 5 (27:47):
You see the crowd pressing around you, and yet you
say who touched me? And he looked around to see
who had done it. But the woman, knowing what had
happened to her, came in fear and trembling, and fell
down before him and told him the whole truth. And
he said to her, daughter, your faith has made you well.
Speaker 6 (28:08):
Go in peace and be healed of your disease.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
There you go, daughter, your faith, Yes, your faith has
made you well.
Speaker 6 (28:19):
Who else, not her confession but her faith?
Speaker 1 (28:23):
Right?
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Who else? The woman?
Speaker 1 (28:25):
There was a woman at the who met with the
Messiah at the well.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
Let me read that. That's John four one to forty two. Therefore,
when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that
Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, though Jesus
himself did not baptize but his disciples. He left you
there and departed again to Galilee. But he needed to
(28:52):
go through Samaria. Samaria was like the worst part of
the world. That it was criminals and everything and anything
was in Samaria, and.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
Here comes Jesus.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Jesus went right through Samaria.
Speaker 4 (29:05):
So he came to a city of Samaria, which is
called Sicar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave
to his son Joseph.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
Now Jacob's well was there.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
Jesus, therefore, being weary from his journey, sat thus by
the well.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
It was about the sixth hour. A woman of Samaria
came to draw water.
Speaker 4 (29:22):
Jesus said to her, give me a drink, for his
disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
Then the woman of Samaria said to him, how is
it that you, being a Jew, asked a drink from me,
a Samaritan woman, for Jews had no dealings with Samaritans. Okay,
Jesus answered and said to her, if you knew the
gift of God and who it is who says to you,
(29:42):
give me a drink, you would have asked him, and
he would have given you living water. The woman said
to him, Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and
the well is deep. Where then do you get that
living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob, who
gave us the well and drank from it himself, as
well as his sons and his life. Jesus answered to
her and said to her, whoever drinks of this water
(30:04):
will thirst again. But whoever drinks of the water that
I shall give him will never thirst. But at the
water that I shall give him will become in him
a fountain of water, springing up into everlasting life. The
woman said to him, Sir, give me this water, that
I may not thirst, nor come here to draw. Jesus
(30:24):
said to her, go call your husband and come here.
The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus
said to her, you have well said I have no husband,
for you have five husbands, and the one whom you
now have is not your husband.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
And that you spoke truly.
Speaker 4 (30:41):
The woman said to him, Sir, I perceive that you
are a prophet of all this worship on this mountain.
And you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place
where one ought to worship.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
Jesus said to.
Speaker 4 (30:53):
Her, woman, believe me the hours coming when you will
neither on this mountain nor Jerusalem worshiped Father. You worship
what you do not know. We know what we worshiped,
for salvation is of the Jews.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
But the hours.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
Coming and now is when the.
Speaker 4 (31:10):
True worship is who worship the Father in spirit and truth.
For the Father is seeking such to worship him. God
is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in
spirit and truth. The woman said to him, I know
the Messiah's coming, who is called Christ. When he comes,
he will tell us all things.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
Jesus said to her, I who speak to you, am
he the White and harvest.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
At this point his disciples came, and they marveled that
he talked with a woman. Yet no one said, what
do you see or why are you talking with her.
The woman then left her water power, went her way
into the city and said to the man, come see
a man who told me all things that I ever
did could dispute the Christ. Then they went out to
the city and came to him, and many of the
(31:52):
Samaritans of that city believed in him because of the
word of the woman. Who testified, He told me all
that I ever did. So when the Samaritans had come
to him, they urged him to stay with them, and
he stayed there for two days, and many more believed
because of his own word. Then they said to the woman,
(32:13):
now we believe not because of what you said, for
we ourselves have heard him and me know that this
is indeed the Christ, the savior of the world. Let
me stop right there. Did they say the sentence prayer?
Did they say the salvation prayer?
Speaker 1 (32:29):
Did they say.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
Romans ten verse nine? Okay?
Speaker 4 (32:33):
All of these individuals had faith, okay, and whatever they
had was excavated from their bodies. Okay. Why because they
had nothing but faith? Okay, and Jesus saved them. Nobody
(32:56):
can't tell me that Jesus didn't save the one that
was going to be stoned.
Speaker 6 (33:00):
Oh that's good. Just just saw their.
Speaker 8 (33:03):
Faith, right, he saw that, He saw their faith. Okay,
he saw their faith and they were saved. Okay. So
it was by their faith that they were saved. It
wasn't because of what they said. Remember, there's no effort
(33:24):
in this.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Okay. Let's go to Luke five.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
Birth seventeen to thirty nine okay, and for time's sake,
because I really want to make my point. It's basically
about the man that that the four individuals had let
let down.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Through the roof, the paraplegic, the paralyzed man.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
Okay, who was paralyzed from birth right he could he
he could have walked.
Speaker 3 (33:53):
And they laid him down. They let him down right through.
Speaker 6 (33:57):
They couldn't get to Jesus. So they went to the
top the what was it, it was like the house,
or wouldn't yes get to him? After their faith exactly?
Speaker 3 (34:07):
They put him? Yeah, and and and so he saved them.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
And that's going right in verse twenty because it says him,
it says just what you just.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Said about seeing And what did it say in verse
twenty when.
Speaker 6 (34:19):
Jesus saw their faith, he says the man, friend.
Speaker 4 (34:22):
Your sins are forgiven for a given salvation just from
just from him seeing seeing them, he saw their faith.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
Now look look, loo, look at the ones that didn't
have the faith. Verse twenty one.
Speaker 4 (34:40):
The teachers of the law, the teachers of the law,
and the proud religious lawkeepers thought to themselves, who is
this man who speaks as if he is God, who
can forgive sins? But God who can forgive sins? But
God only Jesus knew what they were thinking. He knew
because he's a prophet. He said to them, why do
you think this way in your hearts?
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Look?
Speaker 4 (35:02):
Look, he saw disbelief in their hearts. He saw a
lack of faith in their hearts. Right, why do you
think this way in your hearts? Which is easy to
say your sins are forgiven, or get up and walk?
So he forgave them. He forgave the sins first. He
forgave the sins first. That's salvation. Then look what it
says so that twenty four. So that you may know
(35:24):
the son of Man has the right and the power
on earth to forgive sins. He said to the man
who couldnot move his body, I say to you, get up,
take your bed, and go to your home. At once,
the sick man got up in front of him. He
took his bed and went to his home, thanking God.
All those who were there were surprised and gave thanks
(35:44):
to God, saying, we have seen very special things today. Okay,
So what happened? He gave salvation first to the man,
and then saved the man, and then and then yield
the man. He gave salvation first and then healed the man,
and the man the man didn't even say anything, but.
Speaker 9 (36:06):
He believed he had faith. Hey hey, hey, hey, look
look he didn't hear the teachers of the law. He
didn't say them why they had disbelief. They had disbelief.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
Okay, so so so, so when we go back up
to Romans ten, verse nine, and.
Speaker 3 (36:30):
What does it say.
Speaker 4 (36:32):
It says that if thou shall confess with thy mouth
the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thy heart that
God hath raised in front of death, thou shall be saved.
But with the heart man believing unto righteous and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Okay, so here
we go. This scripture does not mean that you have
(36:58):
to confess with your mouth unto salvation. The main crux,
the crux of the situation, the crux of this whole thing,
is to believe in your heart, only you don't have
to confess it. What it's saying here, what Paul was
(37:19):
trying to say here was when you're saved, when sorry,
when you believe you are saved, and then through your
salvation you talk about the goodness of God, you talk
(37:40):
about the goodness of the Gospel.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
You talk about your salvation to others, just like the
woman that the world did, just like the.
Speaker 10 (37:51):
Woman who was about to be stone did, just like
the man who got a say who the paralyzed did
that and people believed.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
So my spiritual father passed careful Dalla said that there's
an aha moment that everybody has who.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
Decides to believe.
Speaker 4 (38:13):
The teachers of the law didn't get it, the Pharisees
didn't get it, the sata Sees didn't get it.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
But only the people that believed got it.
Speaker 4 (38:20):
There is a moment, I'm telling you, brothers and sisters,
where there's a moment in your life where you get it.
Let me tell you when I got mine. I got
mine when when after I got out of jail and
I was in that CD hotel.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
No, no, no, no, That's when I started to question it.
That's why I started the question. I was like, I
was like, man, I need spirit I need I need
to get in touch with my spiritual side. I need
to get more in touch with my spiritual side. And
I and I asked God, who I.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
Never talked to before, but can a person like myself
who believed in Islam, who believed in the Dow religion,
who believed in Egyptology. Can a person like me follow Jesus?
Let me tell when I got my hort moment, my my,
my moment. When I got it was when I saw
(39:12):
a sister that was teaching me about Christ, when she
said that Christ is going to do She was in
a situation and she said, Christ is going to do
this for her. Christ is going to do that for her,
and He's going to get her out this way and
that way. And I was like, yeah, all right, and
I just watched, yep, and I just watched, and he
(39:34):
got her out of every situation right before my eyes.
That's I said, I need to I need to get
this man in my life.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
So when it came time for me to go into.
Speaker 4 (39:45):
The church, I believe when I came, when it came
time for me to see all them praying and tongues,
I didn't freak out because I already believed. That's how
God was able to tell me before I went up
to get saved.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
But when I went up to to to the pope.
Speaker 4 (40:00):
It that's how come he was able to say to me,
I'm going to be a pastor he said it to
me before I went up to the pulpit, because.
Speaker 3 (40:09):
I already believed in my heart. I already believed in
my heart.
Speaker 4 (40:13):
So I'm saying to you that you don't have to
say the sentence prayer. You don't have to say the
salvation prayer. Okay, I'm saying it.
Speaker 1 (40:25):
You don't.
Speaker 3 (40:26):
What Paul was saying again.
Speaker 4 (40:29):
Was if you believed, then at some point in time,
you're going to say it to others just so that
they'll be able to receive Christ as well.
Speaker 3 (40:39):
But you don't have to say the prayer.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
So now everybody said, oh, well, you've been, you've been.
Speaker 4 (40:44):
You've been saying at the end of the show that
you can get salvation by saying this, yeah, you still
can get salvation because obviously you still believe, and now
you're still saying it. But what I'm saying is is
that it's not a prerequisite that you have to do it.
Speaker 1 (41:01):
Think about it.
Speaker 4 (41:03):
A mute person can't A mute person can't say they
want salvation because they can't speak. They can't speak, so
how so so what about them?
Speaker 1 (41:18):
Go ahead, beg you.
Speaker 6 (41:18):
Will say you just join us.
Speaker 5 (41:20):
You're listening to the love chapters and we are learning
and relearning.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
Y'all, so so so so.
Speaker 4 (41:27):
For years we've been taught that we're supposed to say
the salvation prayer in order to get saved, we have
to confess it with our mouth, and you don't have
to do that.
Speaker 6 (41:39):
This changes everything, y'all, This changes everything.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
You don't have to do that.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
So now what you do is.
Speaker 4 (41:48):
In the in the last chapter of Matthew, what did
Jesus say? Jesus said to go out and make disciples
of everybody, right, and he nowhere else in the except
Romans ten, doesn't say confessed with that mouth, and you
might you have to confess with your mouth. Even Jesus
didn't say that, So gus what you don't have to
(42:10):
say it.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
Now you can still say it and receive salvation.
Speaker 3 (42:15):
You can still say it, but it's not a prerequisite.
Speaker 4 (42:18):
If you believe in your heart that you're saved, and
guess what you are saying. If you believe, say, if
you believe that Jesus sacrifices life on the cross, then
you are saved.
Speaker 1 (42:30):
If you want to say it with somebody, is what
I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (42:33):
You can if you want to say it in the
trait you can.
Speaker 1 (42:36):
You want to say it around the witness, you can.
Speaker 3 (42:39):
But if you don't want to.
Speaker 1 (42:40):
Say it around anybody, you don't have to.
Speaker 4 (42:42):
Because God knows what's in your heart. And that's just
like Jesus saw what was in their heart. God sees
what's in your heart as long as you believe.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
So then when somebody comes up they say you believe
Jesus Lord saved, he say, yeah, of course I do.
Speaker 3 (42:56):
Well, who doesn't you see what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (42:58):
You're confessing with your mouth when you go out there
and you give some when you tell somebody about the
testimony like they like these individuals did in the Bible.
You're confessing with your mouth when you say Jesus loves you.
You're confessing with your mouth when you tell the goodness
that Jesus has done for you.
Speaker 1 (43:16):
You're confessing with your mouth. That's good.
Speaker 3 (43:19):
And we've run out of time.
Speaker 6 (43:21):
That's good.
Speaker 1 (43:24):
Is so good.
Speaker 5 (43:25):
We thank your father for unlearning relearning.
Speaker 6 (43:31):
This is years of years that we've been conditioned.
Speaker 5 (43:37):
In this teaching right here, where you confess leaving your heartrofessors,
not believing a heartrofessor without dang man.
Speaker 6 (43:43):
And we just.
Speaker 5 (43:45):
We just I shouldn't say stumbled, But we received some
revelation tonight that I pray has blessed you all in
the mighty name of Jesus, and that you will take
this and pay it forward.
Speaker 4 (43:54):
So if you still want salvation, you can still get
it right here, right now, listening to the positive PALATONI
on radio show Love Chapters.
Speaker 3 (44:03):
Right now. I guess some more to say about that
next week too, But repeat after my.
Speaker 5 (44:08):
Wife, heavenly father, Father, I am, and I recognize, and
I recognize that I'm a sinner.
Speaker 6 (44:15):
I believe Jesus died.
Speaker 4 (44:17):
I believe Jesus died, rose rose, and it's coming back,
and it's coming back again.
Speaker 6 (44:22):
Thank you. I thank you for cleansing me.
Speaker 3 (44:24):
For cleansing me, all of my all of my sins.
Speaker 6 (44:27):
Receive and I received your forgiveness.
Speaker 1 (44:30):
Your forgiveness this day, this day, make me, make me.
Speaker 6 (44:33):
Shape me, shape and mold me and into what you into.
Speaker 3 (44:38):
What you want me to be, you want me to be.
Speaker 1 (44:40):
And I make this one hundred that make this one
hundred degree turned.
Speaker 6 (44:44):
Thank you, Thank you Lord, saving me.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
For saving me.
Speaker 4 (44:48):
So now let's just say you didn't want to say
that prayer right now, right come come back, get the
look on our.
Speaker 3 (44:56):
Link and listen to this radio show again. Write it down.
Speaker 1 (45:01):
What we said.
Speaker 4 (45:02):

Speaker 1 (45:08):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (45:08):
I'm gonna talk to you guys more about when you're
ready next week. Of of of what it means to
walk in salvation. Okay, there's this more to the confession.
When you say it, hallelujah, it's gonna be great. It's
gonna be awesome. And we thank you for having us
on the show. And we love.
Speaker 5 (45:25):
You and only God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit love
you more.
Speaker 6 (45:29):
Now see next time.
Speaker 3 (45:31):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (45:40):
Let me tell you why God, God keep talking about God.
Speaker 3 (45:54):
God.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
You don't know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 2 (45:56):
Let me tell you God out God, God.
Speaker 3 (46:01):
Let me bring it down to you.
Speaker 2 (46:03):
Jesus tore the time, cheap, holding back head, the stopping
the dread blood right to make the Christ job in
the strip we are just to make.
Speaker 3 (46:11):
If you are listening to Jerry's worldwide podcast,
