Speaker 4 (02:24):
So yeah, tonight we have this very very special episode,
very special episode three years around well, I don't know
if it was around us time, but the same day we.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Got what ordained as pastors.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
We did, we got officiated.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Is that is that the right word?

Speaker 4 (02:53):
We got our Dane as leaders, ministry leaders pastors of
not just any ministry now, you know, let's clarify.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Yes, we got.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Ordained installed as the pastors, the visionaries, the leaders of
our own ministry. Yes, okay, this has been a three
year journey for us that we officially have been working
for God under their title now the overseer, the shepherds. Then, right,

(03:30):
and we just want to thank the Lord. We want
to thank him, we want to give him praise. You know,
there's been a lot of confusion in the Body of
Christ about the different titles and ministry gifts and pastor
profit evangelists. You just know that if you have a leader,

(03:51):
a pastor, a leader, apostle, and evangelist in your life,
just know that they are gifts to you.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
According to Thesehesians four eleven through thirteen says he gave
some who is he Christ? Gay? Christ gave us something
before he left. What did he give us? He gave
us gifts which were in the form of people, y'all, apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds,
and teachers, and actually it's pastor teachers actually one gift.

(04:21):
So it's usually there's really four, okay, four fold, to
equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for
building up the Body of Christ, until we all attain
to the united faith and of the knowledge of the
Son of God. To four manhood, to the measure of
the stature of you want to finish that, the measure

(04:42):
of the stature. We're gonna put that on polige y'all
hold your finger right theiry y'all in Jain.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
So Christ itself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelist,
the passes, and teachers to equip his people for works
of service so that the body of Christ may be
built up.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Yes, maybe built up. So when we took on and
accepted the call to pastor, it's always been my husband's
calling to pastor. He received his calling. Why am I
telling your story? He received his calling after the pastor
after he got saved.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Actually, I received the calling before I got saved, which
is which is deep because it just goes upon with
the teaching that we had last week that our own
spiritual father, Pastor Crystal Dollar, taught us about. We had
the ability to be saved and not actually have to

(05:41):
say the Sinner's prayer or the salvation prayer. You know.
So when I was in the church in church for
the first time, I heard God specifically say that I
was going to be a pastor. And that's before one
into the pulpit and gave my life to Christ. So

(06:03):
he was talking to me before I got saved. Amen.
So yeah, the calling was on my life, uh uh,
way before I met my wife and once I met
my wife, you want to go ahead? Okay. Once I
met my wife and the how can I say this?

(06:30):
And the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit came out of her.
I knew automatically that she had the pastoral on her.
She she has, she has all the ministries in her,
but it is the pastoral as well. And so when
that day came for me to uh be ordained, she

(06:55):
was right there with me because she went she went
through what I went through. We went through the same,
the same, the same walk, the same when she met me,
she went through the same walk, Hugh elbows with the
same people, uh defeated the demons that I had defeated.

(07:18):
She was right along with men. We we were we
we've been a tag team ever since.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
Yeah, you know, I was just thinking just the trajectory
and how we how we matriculated into pastors and transition,
like our individual journeys as well as our corporate journeys.
Because even before I met you, you know, some people

(07:44):
might say, well, where who are they? You know, where
would it come from? Like No, I believe God God
was preparing us before we even met each other, and
we were both in our individual lanes. I received my
calling at an early early age.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
And.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
I knew at some point that I would be it
would merge with someone. I just didn't know how and when,
because I got my calling when I was a teenager,
i know, but I got it early, and I knew
that I was a prophet called to apostleship as well.

(08:22):
And throughout my journey, you know, I had my Joshua moments.
God use me. I was heavy in evangelism. I had
such a fire too, like I didn't really care, Like
I was just everywhere laying hands on people at school.
It was just the presence of God. It was just
very strong in my life, and I was unashamed and
I would just go and tell people what they's say
of the Lord. And that is how I was running.

(08:45):
You know. I love to do street ministry as well,
and then I transitioned into you know, the arts as well,
already having a background in the arts, but then I
was passionate about the choir. You know, I wanted to
sing for the God, so I sang for God, and
then I wanted to dance for God. And everything had
to just be for God.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
You know.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Artistically I meant not secularly, because obviously I was involved
in the secular world and being trained as well. But
everything just changed and my desire was just to glorify
God and worship Him with my gifts. And so I
went through different ministries, dance ministry, drama ministry, music ministry,

(09:25):
right the different different giftings. And so my experience was
in those capacities now and I also worked with children.
So in that and God takes us through our different
journeys in our life, equip us into preparis. And I
might not look the same, our trajectory might not look
the same, But as long as it's going to get

(09:45):
you to the end result or where He has you,
then I think that's what's most important, you know, because
even people who may not have the title of pastor,
they're still doing the job or the work of a pastor.
Because when you have that title of pastor, it just
it means that you're shepherding. You're a shepherd, you're overseeing someone.
You could be a teacher, and you can be in
that pastoral, authoritative, administrative position. You can be a principal.

(10:09):
You're that overseer of the entire school. You're a mom,
You're that overseer of that child. You're a pastor over
your child, right, So I really just sensed the Lord.
Sometimes we'd like to shun certain terminologies and say no,
don't call me back. No, we need to learn to
embrace these gifts because clearly they're in the Word, and

(10:29):
they're in the Word for a reason, and when God
is giving us and affirming us, we need to accept
the gifts. I think my husband had told.

Speaker 5 (10:39):
Me, he said, you want to just get rid of God.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
He said something about how God had blessed me with something.
Now we wanted to give it back because I didn't
want the title of pastor honestly, and I'm using myself
as an example, because I didn't want that title because
I was a prophet and I was telling God what
I was. But he was like, listen, it's not about
what you are are, honestly, it's about how God wants
to use you. And if we just get so caught

(11:05):
up and focused on well, i'm this and I'm that,
we miss it completely because God can use us however
he chooses, right and that. And I was like, well
I'll take it, Jesus. You know, I never thought I
was gonna be a game to be a pastor, But listen,
God knows what he's doing. And I say this to say,
trust where you are, Trust what He has you doing.

(11:29):
Trust whatever he has in your hands, what he has
you over. It could be a pet. You know, He's
faith When you're faithful in the small things, you can
be faithful in the greater, in the in the bigger assignment.
So don't leave whatever assignment he has you on, even
though it might be if you might think it's frivolous
or unimportant. You know who was it? David in the

(11:51):
Bible when he was tending to the sheet right, He
never left his assignment. He never left his assignment true,
And I think on this journey we always have to
remember what our original assignment is. When things come to
tempt us and try to shake us to the left,

(12:12):
shake us to the right, we have to come back
and remember what has God assigned me to. Right, He's
assigned us to this radio show. And there's a lot
of things, trust me, that come that tempts us. With
the many gifts and gifts that we have collectively and
things that we want to do, we come here and
Guy's like, what did I tell y'all?

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Come here?

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Daughter? Here?

Speaker 4 (12:34):
Just like that, just gentle.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
You know he's a jump of it.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Yes, stay focused on it what it is and allow
it to cultivate develop, you know, don't leave certain assignments
that he's put, that he's assigned to you prematurely because
you want to be able to that's a worder for
somebody hollowlu Listen, I'm gonna take it for me in
the name of Jesus. So tonight we're just gonna celebrate. Celebrate.

(13:00):
Have you been called You don't need to be afraid, y'all. Listen,
you don't need to be afraid. Have you been called
into the office and God has told you he's calling
you or maybe promoting you. You don't need to be afraid.
Why because guess what, it's not even going to be
in your own strength. Right. There's a scripture in Zachariace
talks about not my not by your mind, but by

(13:22):
the spirit of the Living God. So I was able
to overcome in my personal struggles and self confidence and
accepting and embracing what God was doing in my life.
I had to rest in knowing that all I need
to do is show up. I mean, you know, all
things being equal, but God is the one who is

(13:43):
going to do the works through you. You just have
to say, yes, He needs your mouth, he needs your body,
he needs you to be where he's told you to be. Right. Yes,
you study, obviously, you do those things that you need
to do, but we think that it's going to be
in our strength and we have to start resting and
knowing that one it's his church, right, it's his giftings.

(14:05):
Everything that He gave to you is for the work,
the equipping of his people, for the service to build
them up until we all reaches the unity. That's what
it says in the knowledge of the Son of God,
to become a tour So your part in the body
is to help the body mature. So there is a calling,
there's a man in and there is a responsibility. But

(14:25):
you don't have to you don't have to fear that,
oh this is all on me, per se because Christ
is with you. He's the one doing the work through you.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Would you like to add anything, Yeah, right, there's a
body out there. And if you look at your body right,
the heart never worries about what it needs to do,
the lungs never worry about what it needs to do.
The rib cave doesn't worry about what it needs to do.

(14:58):
All your bid your organs never worry about what it
needs to do, and it never quits, it never runs away.
Right Why because God has equipped the body to operate
and assert operate in certain functions, and it operates as
God created it to create created them to operate. So

(15:20):
it's the same thing in the body of Christ. You
don't need to worry on it. Where he's how he's
going to take you, where he's going to take you,
When he's going to take you. All you need to
do is submit. First, The first thing you need to
do is ask God, what is it that you want
me to do? Where is it that you want me

(15:42):
to go? When? And how? Right? And then the second
thing is to accept it. Okay God? My wife said that,
you know, God never leaves you right, He's with you
all the time. Right. A lot of times we as
as as the body of Chrice, we we're not listening

(16:04):
to what he's saying. We're not listening. A lot of
us don't even know what I'll call him is okay
because we're not listening to them. And He could be
telling us all the time, giving us, giving us clues
and talking to us, talking through people talking, through even
a television show or through a pet right to you,

(16:24):
and you're not listening right, so and and then and
then when you do listen right and then you hear it.
You don't want to accept this. Sometimes you can be
in denial to it. Okay, Now, just imagine if just
imagine if your brains wanted to be in denial what
it needed to do. Okay, what the brain decided to
take a break and say, you know what, God, I

(16:45):
don't want to operate as you created me to operate.
I'm gonna do I'm gonna go that way. What do
you what do you think is gonna happen to you?
The body is going to what then be lacking? Okay. So,
so what I'm saying to you is that when you
don't do what you need to do, or you're not
listening to what you need to listen to, when God

(17:08):
is talking to you, you are dequipping the body. You
are hurting the body. You are causing the body not
to operate, see in a certain way, shape, or function. See,
because whatever it is that you do, whatever it is
that you do, is going to help somebody else in
the body. And helping somebody else in the body gets

(17:30):
them to be invigorated and inspired and motivated to go
out there and teach it to somebody else. But if
you're all hold up, not wanting to answer the call,
not wanting to listen to the call, not wanting to
accept the call that's on your life, you are ignoring
the equipping. So what you do is once you listen,

(17:52):
once you accept, and then once you do as Holy
Spirit as God tells you to do right, then you
are resting in the simple fact that you know that
he what he equipped you to do it. Once you
know that He equipped you to do it, you're gonna
go out there and do what you do. It doesn't
matter what distraction gets in your way, it doesn't matter

(18:14):
who tries to pull you left or right. You're gonna
do what it is that you need to do because
you know that God has equipped you to do it,
and you will rest in that. And when you do
that trust there are there There are dimensions and doorways
that you are opening up just for other people to
be able to accept in their calling, running their calling,

(18:36):
listen for their calling, so they could be inspired enough
to go out there and do what God told them
to do. Just because you listen to what God told
you to do. That's a word for somebody. So when
you didn't want that title a pastor, somebody was gonna
miss it. Somebody if you did not accept the title past.
Now we couldn't be sitting here talking like this because

(18:58):
I would be the pastor, you would be something else.
But now you are inspiring somebody else to just get
closer to the Gospel, get closer to God, get closer
to have a relationship with the Almighty. Antelujah. I don't
know where that came from, but prayerfully somebody needed that. Amen.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
I receive it. Amen, I receive that word. Me too,
me too, Praise God.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
You know.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
I often I like to go in and out on
different Facebook groups and chats and things like that, and
a lot of questions sometimes people have when they just
accepted the call or they become a pastor what have you?
And they're like, oh, do you have me an advice?
And the advice that I gave this individual is, you know, don't.

(19:43):
One of the things that we can do as ministers
is to compare. I know, we hear it all the time,
compare ourselves with somebody else. Right, I'm guilty of it too.
You know, we forget you know, the nuances, We forget
our lane because we're too busy looking at this person.
That's times we're like, well, where do I fit in?
If this person's already where they are, Like I law,

(20:05):
you know, I will have to say, is that don't
compare even my husband? You know sometimes I want to
compare myself to him, But I think we have to
learn how to quot ramahiya. Help me hold the spirit,
develop our own identity in ministry as ministers, as leaders. Now,

(20:28):
even though you might have the same calling, maybe as
somebody our spiritual father said, there may just be that
distinction that sets you apart. Okay, you might have you
might be you might have the same title or so
forth and stone, but the way that you might deliver
or pray, there just might be that distinction. And only
you can find that once you continue in the thing

(20:50):
that God has called you to do and keep developing
and growing and strengthening that once you find that, you're like, oh, okay,
this is where I lo. This is my strength in ministry,
this is my laying. And it takes some time. You know,
you might you know, sometimes you do try to be
like a Joyce Meyer. You don't even know who you

(21:11):
want to be at. But listen as long as you're saying, yes,
you stepped out, but God will give you your own identity.
I believe even us we are two we ministered, we're
two different ministers, right, We ministered differently. You know, there's
a lot of differences, but we have had to along

(21:32):
the way. I think God just allowed us to develop
like a camaraderie and to compliment, compliment. It's like, we
don't have to be the same, right, and and we're
together to compliment one another.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
Right.

Speaker 4 (21:45):
We have two different flows. Even in the beginning, it
was like, OK, how do we figure out how to
float together? Now we know how to figure out how
to flow individually. But then when God put you together
with somebody and it doesn't even have to be a spouse.
Sometimes there's ministry teams. It's good to learn how to
flow together. And and you know, ministry sometimes is about
teamwork as well and running and in pacts.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
But lack of a better word, yeah, so you know,
speaking about ministry and teams, why don't we talk about
where God has taken us? Sure in the pastoral, I
mean I mean, what you said was correct about with
us trying to figure it out and then like you know,
because we do have two different lanes, and then to

(22:33):
put them together. But I'm gonna take you. So I
just want to capitalize on what you said about comparisons. Okay,
I just want to let you guys know something. The
day that you start comparing, the day that you start
seeing other people's success and wanting to be like them,
h is the day you take your eye off of God. Okay. Now,

(22:56):
there's a difference between being inspired, right, But when you
start to compare, right, what you start to do is
you start to look at what they got and what
not just what you've got, but what you lack. Okay.

(23:17):
So once you start saying, oh, wow, look they they're
driving a roy They're driving a Rose Roys and I'm
pushing Uber. Okay, when they go in the seventh course,
when they're going to uh seven seven star restaurants, right,
and you order an Uber Eats, right, you're starting to compare.
Once you start to compare, you have now you have

(23:40):
now got gotten out of the thankfulness of where God
has you at. Now Okay, so now what you're doing
is you're basically looking out on the highway at other
cars and you're not even looking at the sip Effector
you're on the highway and driving your own car, you're
busy looking at everybody else's car instead of being thankful

(24:03):
that you're in your own car. So never compare. It's
okay to congratulate, but and it's okay to celebrate, but
don't compare yourself to anybody else, because then right when
you start to compare yourself to anybody else, my wife
talk about talks about identity, talked about identity. Right when

(24:25):
you start to compare yourself to other people and look
at other people, you will now assume their identity. You're
no longer any identity of the image of the Father.
That's good because now you're looking at them. I don't
care if they're the biggest brightest pastor in the world.
I don't care if they're the biggest brightest scientist, millionaire

(24:47):
or whatever. When you start to compare yourself to them,
you are now looking at their identity, wanting to be
their identity, instead of being in the image that God
wants you to be in man. So it's okay to
want to aspire or to acquire what it is that

(25:07):
they have the title, whatever the case. But you gotta
also make sure that where you gotta make sure and
be strong in your lane, be confident in what God
told you to do. And if you're busy trying to
identify with these individuals over here and their success, guess what,

(25:30):
you probably don't know your calling. Do you really know
your calling? Do you really know what is how you're
supposed to be flowing? Do you really know what lane
God has you in? And then so that's what you
got to question. So as soon as you start to say,
oh they got this, I got this, stop yourself, fall back,

(25:52):
thank God, and then say okay, God, what's my lane?
And man, so now let's talk about where God has
taken us in our three year journey of what is
it that we've been doing? And man, okay? And then well,
I can start off by saying that on being on
a radio show, We've been on seven different radio shows

(26:14):
and it was God who told us to hang with Jerry,
stick with Jerry, and we've and Jerry has taken us places.
Where are more of streams now we're on Apple Podcasts, Speaker, Spotify,
iHeart Radio, Pie Chaser Amazon Music podcast Attic and the

(26:34):
and the list is just increasing. We're more than one
hundred and fifty countries. The as you're you're seeing us
and listening to us, just know that you're part of
millions of listeners who are who are tuning in and
chining in to our voices to hear what God has

(26:56):
to say. And then so and there's so much more
that we're going to be doing. Right. There are people
that I know that are listening right now, right that
we have prayed, that that that we have that God
has led us to pray for.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
Quite a few marriages, right, we've been a part of,
not officiated, but we've been just a part of agreeing
with them for spouses.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
And we've seen when they were single as sing wondering
when there when they're when they're bow As is going
to come, wondering when they're Ruth is and Ruth Ruth
when their ruth.

Speaker 4 (27:31):
Was well Ruth, well Ruth was found by right right
right right. But if bo As is looking for Ruth
and right exactly.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
In other words, they have been a gentlemen.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
But they say Proverbs thirty one, you.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Know, yep, they have been gentlemen that have wondered where
their ruth is going to be. There are women who
are wondering where their bow as is going to be.
And we got in the prayer with them, and.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
They are four or four marriages. We've seen, yes, pray,
pray with that, right, right right.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
We came to agreement with a lot of a lot
of some people and and we've seen the manifestation. We've
seen the manifestation, you know, and we we're just so
happy that people came to us to pray for them
and we saw the manifestation happen. Amen, I can at

(28:28):
an undisclosed uh an undisclosed amount. We are almost death free. Jesus,
Oh my god, lujah.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
Now that is worse.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
Oh holler Loujah, Haller Loujah. That now, that probably takes
a whole other episode.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Yeah, yeah, we're gonna talk about at another time, you know.

Speaker 4 (28:58):
But the Lord is definitely showing out financially. He's getting
rid of the burdens, financial burdens. Listen, when you say
yes to the Lord, I mean he listen.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
I'm still in awe at what he did, you know,
So anyway, that is awesome.

Speaker 4 (29:21):
Listen, Listen. There are some awesome times, and we're not
going to say that every you know, ministry is always,
you know, a walk in the road, walk in the roads,
walking the park. Because there are some challenging okay, some
tears okay, but we are here to encourage you, woman

(29:45):
of God, man of God, to keep pressing your way.
Be encouraged. Don't throw in the towel. I know, sometimes
going gets rough and you want to throw in the
towel because because sometimes it just ain't right.

Speaker 5 (29:57):
It just thinks, just ain't right some people.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
We'll just stay right, okay. The Lord knows this, and
you just keep praying. Our mentor who pray for us
during our ordination he said, just continue loving, And that
was very hard. Doesn't matter if they talk about you,
It doesn't matter if they wrongfully accuse you. It doesn't matter.

(30:22):
Love them anyway because you are supposed to be that example.
It does get hard because there are things that are
done to you that are unjust, and you, as a leader,
have to just take it.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
You know what I'm going I'm a week or so,
you're right. In a week or so, I'm going to
be coming out with a series. I know how long
the SERI it's going to be but it's going to
be on Uh when what's the title? When? Peace or pride?

(30:57):
Which do you take? Okay? And with saying that, I
want to give a testimony just about what you said
about people. Okay. Recently a co worker of mine got
reckless with it towards me. Okay, and you know we've
been ordaining now for three years, so you know, still

(31:20):
learning has pass us how to walk this walk, you know. Uh,
but you know it needs to say. I wanted to,
you know, want to holler at you know what understand
I wanted to get at you know. Uh and uh
uh I let it go, but it was simmering in

(31:40):
me right and you know I I was gonna handle that, okay.
You know it was made to make some phone calls.
You know, I had to handle my handles and it's
such not such a nice way, you know. But because

(32:02):
he got reckless with me, really got reckless, so you know,
you know, uh, so I had to Oh God told
me not to move mhm okay, and so I didn't move,
but it was still in me to still get at
this guy, you know what I mean? And uh, you know,

(32:26):
uh it took God not to make me move. Uh,
but I'm just gonna move okay, and needs to say right.
I ran into another coworker who had heard about the
beef and when I said, yeah, yeah, y'all are beefing,
and I said beef like be Like, I'm a grown man.

(32:51):
What do I need to do. I'm a pastor, I'm
a Christian. Why would I have beef with Anybody's Like, No,
I don't have no beef for nobody. I'm not gonna that.
Really that really uh stuck with me beat. I'm like,
come on, that's the teenagers or immature people. I don't
have any beat. But then God told me that I

(33:11):
had unforgiveness, right, so I remember that God forgave me,
so I forgave the God. So I actually happened to
run into him and I was riding one of his Uh.
I was riding on his train. He was he was

(33:32):
operating the train, and I didn't say nothing to him,
and I just sat down and I realized that I
still had bitterness in me even though I have forgiven him.
So this is this, this is this. You have to
have a relationship with God. So anyway, so I'm on

(33:54):
the train and I'm about to get off, and I'm like, okay,
i'm gonna avoid this guy. I'm gonna go in the
other direction. I'm gonna I'm gonna go around him. I'm
not gonna say nothing to him. And you know what,
you know what I heard? I heard my boy say
compliment him.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
I said, what?

Speaker 3 (34:14):
Compliment him? On to find jobs that he did? I said, God,
I said, Dad, And you got to be kidding me.
I'm like, that can't be you talking. But when you
always here, when you hear something good, that's God okay.
And he said, go up to him and compliment him
when you get up to the trail. I said, but

(34:35):
I'm gonna be late for work. He's like, do it.
So I said, okay, God, you know what, I'm gonna
need you. I'm gonna need you to do this. And
as soon as I said that, there was a peace
that came over me, a piece that I only experienced

(34:55):
when I talked to him, and all of a sudden,
I had joy. So when I got off and I
went right up to him, I said, good job. And
I held up my fist to give him that, and
he didn't want to give me that. And I said,
you're doing a good job, and I held up my
fist and he gave me that. And you know what,
I didn't do with any malice, any stinkness and nothing.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
I just was at peace and I and then I
went to work and I was so I it was
like the it was like the monkey was off my back.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
It was like the chick was off my shoulder. And
I hadn't come back down since. How many of you
guys are not letting the with the wrongs that somebody
did to them go, or the wrongs that somebody did
to you go? How many how many wars have been created?
How many people people have died over unforgiveness, how many

(35:53):
people have died over bitterness? How many people have suffered
over biddenness? Let it go? And the only way you
let it go is having that relationship with God. If
you do not have that relationship with God, if you
do not seek him, if you do not go to
Him in the most troubling times, like my wife said,
there have been some times now, you've got to turn

(36:14):
it over to him. And I promise you, trust, I
promise you the peace of God will take you and
you will never be the same again. You will spend
you mature so fast you will never come back a man.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
Speaking of a relationship with the Lord. I just want
to give some scriptures, Amen, just to encourage you all.
And these are our Go two scriptures as well. James
one two through four talks about counting it all joy
when you fall into various trials, knowing that the's testing
your faith or just patience. So let Asians have its
perfect work.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
Amen, You're funny.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
J Gone, gone gone, and just know that Jesus overcame,
if he overcame the world, so can you amen. There's
so many times where we've had to count it all joy.
We had to remember we had We've been in some
trials and stipulations. We didn't know where the money was
coming from. But God would take us to That was
one of the scriptures. He would take us to, Amen,

(37:15):
and we would just start praising him and thanking him.
And another scripture is Isaiah forty one and ten. You know,
sometimes we're afraid and we're distressed, and we're like, oh Lord,
what are we gonna do now? But this really has
helped us help me. I should say, do not fear
if I'm with you, do not be dismayed, for I'm

(37:35):
your God that was David, you know, stored David when
he was he was distressed, and God told him not
to fear. And you know what, that that do not
fear is in the Bible. So in so many places
when God tells this man, a woman of God, do
not fear, do not fear, do not fear. I think
it's the Bible about three hundred and sixty five times.
If I'm not mistaken, So do not fear, for I'm

(37:58):
with you. Do not be dismayed, for I'm your God.
I will strengthen you. Sometimes, like I said, we feel weak,
you know, like just the journey sometimes like we need
to encourage ourselves.

Speaker 3 (38:10):
You know.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
But God in this in his word, says he will
strengthen you, and he's gonna help you. He's our helper,
right There's a lot of scriptures that talks about the
Holy Spirit being our helper as well, and it says
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. We
need God to be our righteous right hand in certain situations.
So these are scriptures that you can have and meditate on,
as well as the Love Chapter. You are going to

(38:31):
need that Love Chapter first Corinthians thirteen and all of
it because anytime things happen, you got to go straight
to that love chapter and start loving, you know, love patient,
love us kind. You know, love believes the best, that
forgiveness what my husband is saying, because you will get tested.
You're on the front line, leader, apostle, prophet Evantually the
Bible James that talks about teachers will be judged more harshly.

(38:54):
So we're going to walk through this. If we haven't
been walking through it, we've walked through or we're probably
getting ready to walk through it again. But these are
scriptures that you can have in your arsenal in those
times who encourage you, encourage yourself in the Lord, with
some speaking to yourself, speaking to one another in hymn,
worshiping fat Hollylujah, because you will need this.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
Quickly. I was going through something at my job right
and I had a lunch break, so I hurry up
and ran to my wife, and she immediately got in
prayer for me. And I had dread at something, and
she prayed over me, and I was at peace, and

(39:36):
when I got back to work, the situation was taken
care of, no problem, no issue. If you go to
James one verse two to four. The message translations I'm
gonna read there. It's just so my wife was talking
about gifts. The Gord said, it's faith under pressure. Consider
it a sheer gift. Friends, when tests and challenges come

(39:57):
at you from all sides, know that under pressure, your
faith life is forced into the open and shows its
true colors. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely.
Let it do its work. So you become mature and
well developed, not efficient in any way. And then that's

(40:17):
James one, verse two and to four. Okay, so it's
telling you, look, you're gonna there's gonna be issues, There's
going to be problems, but when you go through them,
just know that the Lord is going through them with you.
Now you have a choice. You could either call upon
the Lord to get you do the situations and the
issues and the problems, or you can call upon something

(40:40):
else and see where that takes you. Like I said,
people that die, people that have been stressed. That people
have been in the worse situation and gotten into worse
situations because what they did not turn it over to
who to.

Speaker 4 (40:56):
Christ and then and it does help. And then it
does help to have somebody to walk with along the journey.
You know, we're very blessed that the Lord put us
together is better than one.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
That is so rude. So in this three year journey,
we have seen people get married, We've had people get
demons tossed out of them, field delivered, you know, and
the ministry is growing. Our ministry is growing. Okay, uh uh.

(41:29):
There are some things that we cannot talk about because
it's going to be premature, but there are so many
things in the works behind it scenes, it's unbelievable. So
we want to thank those individuals who are sticking by us,
Jerry being one of them. Thanks Jerry for the part
our book, the book. Oh yeah, go ahead, Oh yeah,

(41:51):
that's right. We go off of the book called the
War and Divorce.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
Marriage is still out there, part of a project.

Speaker 3 (42:03):
And but there's there's so much more things coming, so
much more. So hang with us and hang with us
because we're gonna go places. And we haven't been on
in a while to talk to you guys, so hello,
we're grateful for you. Now, I just want to say
this because it's time to go actually bad, it's time. Okay, listen.

(42:25):
We don't want to force anybody into saying the Salvation prayer. Okay, However,
if you have listened to this episode and feel the
need to confess Jesus is Lord and Savior right now,

(42:45):
have you, if you've ever been on the fence, if
you're on the fence now, if you're teetering, if you're
one foot in and one foot out, if you if
you if you're actual, last, if you try, if you
tried everything, but now you you've tried to rest, but
now you want to try the best. If you just
come to that point where you had that moment where

(43:06):
you said, you know what I believe, if then you
can save the salvation prayer. And I'm going to say
the Salvation prayer. You can repeat after me. Amen. Amen, Amen,
thank you, Jerry, Thank you, Jerry. All right, repeat after me,

(43:27):
Heavenly Father, Father. And I don't want to sin anymore.

Speaker 6 (43:33):
I don't want to any I recognize, I recognize that
Christ sacrifice his life, sacrifice his life on the cross
for me, for me, for my sins, for my iniquities,
for my infirmity.

Speaker 3 (43:50):
And I want Christ, and I want Christ in my
life my life today today, to shape me, to shake me,
hold me, hold me, and to mold me into what
you got into, what you got, want me to be,
want me to be. I repent, which means which means
I want. I want to make one hundred and eight degree.

Speaker 4 (44:12):
Change, to make one hundred and eighty degree change, to
do God, to do.

Speaker 3 (44:16):
God, what you got, what you got, want me to do,
want me to do and ch Yes, you're the Messiges Jesus,
King of King, the Lord, the Lord's money, imprecious.

Speaker 4 (44:25):
Name, say that in Christ Jesus. Yes, you're aside and
precious Lord of Jesus, Christ, Lord of lords in Jesus name.

Speaker 3 (44:32):
Oh Amen, you said that prayer. If you said that,
then you're saved. If you believed already, If you had
that moment where you said I got it already and
then you just said it, then you just confessed it,
that's great. You're saved. You're saved. Whether you said it
or not, you're saved. This just makes it acial and

(44:54):
your creature. I mean, it's official regardless of whether you
say it or not. But that you did say that
just hold you accountable. We're going to go into a
teaching on what saying it actually means and then what's
saying it actually means. This is gonna be great. You
don't want to miss it. Guys.

Speaker 4 (45:13):

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
