And we're the Love Chapters.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
We are we are, we are, we are the Love Chapters.
Why are the love chapters with.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
The love chapters, because we stand on the word that says,
I love love that nighbor. Mm hmm love thatselff. That's
so random, that crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
My husband came up with the love chapters way back when,
and the whole idea or the concept was for us
to expose the masses to the different kind means of
love that is offered in the Kingdom of God. You
got as love, which is the romantic love. You got

(02:08):
sorgay love, you got FiOS love.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
And there's one more of faith.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Oh I forgot love?

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Can we forget God? They love friendship and then the
family love love wanting one to another, your brother and sisters.
So there are different kinds of love. And yes we
talk about marriage, but that's not all we talk about.
For those that inquiring minds, think about those Bay, Welcome

(02:46):
back to another episode the Love Chapters. Again to Jerry,
shout out.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Can I just say something real quick, Jerry, Let me
tell you something. Jerry has Jerry, Jerry's j jervis Jerry's uh,
his his his, his consciousness has risen to another level
because now he's like ministering the word, that word, and

(03:15):
it's a very powerful word, so he shouts out to
Jersey's he's being a leader. Yes, he's a leader already
as the producer director, you know, you know he produces us.
But he's he's he's more than he's he's taking the
man too of leadership to another level, to to ministry.

(03:35):
And uh and and I salute you.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Amen, getting honor to whom honor is due. Yes, I
do appreciate the words and the word that he sends
via email, and you know, we appreciate the labor as well.
So it's very fitting for our series and our topic
because we are talking about leadership again this evening, and
we've been talking about leadership for those of you that

(04:03):
have been following the series, we've been talking about the
pastornal journey. We started with our pastoral journey, right, and
then it evolved into what it takes. My husband thought
about what it takes, and then he gave his testimony
and then.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Go ahead, which I never really got to finish because
we got into other so many other topics. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
but just get the testimony of how I heard the
word of God before I got saved, and a pleasant
of lother the litany of other things that well, we'll
we'll discuss. I'll go back to that and we'll discuss that.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
But yes, tonight I'm being allowed to lead and to share,
so give God all the stories. So that being said,
let us get into a quick word of prayer so
we can get right into tonight episod A, Part five,
the Pastoral Journey. And we thank you all everyone who's
listening and tuning in tonight. Heavenly Father, we just once

(05:06):
again just thank you Father for this time, this precious
time that we have for oh so but a moment Father,
and we're just give you thanks Lord, for everyone that's
tuned in and that's ready to receive from you, Father,
and thank you that hearts are ready, our our minds
are open, and we just we just thank you for
having your way in this this message and whatever you

(05:27):
want to say to your people tonight. And I'm grateful
to be used and my husband thank you for him
being such an awesome example and what it means just
to be that strong example of leadership and weakness and
just a pillar of strength for me. Lord, And we
just give you all the praise, honor and glory for it.

(05:50):
And we just take authority over this atmosphere, sayn you
have no place in this time, in this moment, she's
this name.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
We pray.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Amen, Amen, and a man holl lujah. So amen. We're
talking about the pastoral journey and we've been coming from.
I want to just go over our foundational scripture because
we do love the word. Our listeners love the word,
and so let us revisit our foundational scripture for those

(06:21):
that have just joined us. We are coming from We
were coming from Difusions four, and I'm going to go
ahead and have my husband read. This is many of
you know. This is a famous scripture that highlights basically
the call to ministry Maine, the four fold ministry, the

(06:43):
offices and different offices of the Papa, prophet, evangelist speaker.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Oh where am I reading from?

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Start at verse eleven, verse eleven.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Okay, this is Thesians four, verse eleven. And his gifts
to the church will varied will to understand what we're
version of my res or amplified. Okay, He who descended
is the very same as he who also has ascended
high above all the heavens, that he his presence might

(07:17):
fill all things, that is the whole universe. Verse eleven,
and his gifts to the church were varied, and he
himself appointed some as apostles, special messengers representatives, some as
prophets who speak a new message from God to the people,

(07:39):
some as evangelists who spread the good news of salvation,
and some as pastors and teachers to shepherd and guide
and instruct. And He did this to fully acquip and
perfect the saints, God's people for works of service, to
build up the body of Christ, the Church, until we

(08:02):
all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge
of the Son of God, growing spiritually to become a
mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ,
manifesting his spiritual completeness, and exercising our spiritual gifts and unity,
so that we are no longer children, spiritually and mature,

(08:25):
tossed back and forth like ships on a stormy sea,
and carried out by every wind of shifting doctrine, by
the cunning and trickery of unscrupulous men, by the deceitful
scheming of people ready to do anything or personal profit.

(08:45):
But speaking the truth and love in all things, both
our speech and our lives, expressing His truth. Let us
grow up in all things into him, following his example,
who is the head Christ? From him the whole body,
the Church and all his vivance parts joined and knitted

(09:07):
firm me together. But what every joint supplies, when each
part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature,
building yourself up in unselfish love.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Amen, Amen, Amen, the Lord, the Lord blessed. There was
a lot in that to unpack there. But we need leadership. Yeah,
And last time that we spoke about this topic, you

(09:44):
had explained feeling like you were going astray or being
tossed or being pulled in a different directions because you
got away from your brook right and right. And I
know a lot of times it's counterculture to say, oh, well,
you know, I you know I need I need somebody
to tell me or leave me and guide me. Because

(10:04):
we live in a culture where it's about being independent
rather than interdependent, which is what a relationship with what
the Lord is about being interdependent. We are dependent upon him. Right,
So we do point blank as we do need leadership
in our lives. Now when we do come into the Kingdon,
it's important that we find our place as well. Now

(10:26):
we may not all be called into a ministry office.
But we all are all called with a ministry. The
Bible talks about we all have a responsibility, and we
have a ministry, a ministry of reconciliation. What are we reconciling? Well,
the Lord Jesus, God, God wants us all to be
reconciled unto him, right, being restored, being receiving, to get

(10:51):
this salvation. Basically everything that we that we discussed, there's
an inheritance. God sent his only begotten son, and whosoever
believe unto him shall have everlasting life. There's a reconciliation.
And you know we are all was lost, our authority

(11:13):
was lost, and Jesus was the only person, our big
bro is the only person that can go and take
it back. So we have to be reconciled. We need
to be born again. And if you read the gospels,
the Gospels, there's a great way to introduce yourself to
what Christ his life, what he was called to do,

(11:34):
and what he did on the earth, carrying out the
great commission. We are to carry out the great commission
and do the works. The Bible says, even greater works
we shall do. Now this scripture and Nophesians talking about
the calling. Some of us are appointed, anointed and appointed
to lead the body of Christ, the sheep right as

(11:58):
a prophet. You might be somebody called to speak, be
a special messenger, a sent one, an apostle. You might
be an evangelist. You might be a teacher, a pastor, teacher,
one who guides and shepherd. You might be called a shepherd.
Not everybody is called to shepherd, and it's important that
we all find our place and understand what we're being

(12:20):
called to. What it means when you when you're a
mouthpiece for God, you're prophetically speaking forth the mysteries of God.
You're a prophet of God. It's their different functions. But
Jesus is a great example. He walked in all the anointings.
I want to say, because there are anointings. He was

(12:42):
the great shepherd. He was a healer, he flowed and
gives the healing. He was a sent one. So he
was an apostle because he was sent right, he was
sent and he was a prophet. I mean he moved
in and signs and wonders. That is sign of aposta
as well.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
He went and pastor.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
He was a mastor and a teacher. He taught the disciples.
My goodness, and this whole series really, right, this whole series.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
No, no, no, it's okay.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
I was just thinking, like it's wanting to read the word,
but I'm a visual learner, and so I've been watching
I know that you don't like some of the movies
out there, but I've been watching a series called The
Chosen lately, and you know, it's had a lot of
controversy or what have you. But to me, I just
really believe that it brings to life the life of Price,

(13:39):
who he was, and so talking about.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
You can picture yourself there, the realism.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
The realism, who what it means to be gifted in
the different anointings that he.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
Walked in, and they also showing human side to it too,
how he dealt with his disciples and how they were
acting at that time. Yeah, you know, it really brung
like humane but spiritual look to it as a perspective
to it as well, how Jesus handled them in the

(14:16):
spirit and still being human at the.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Same Yes, yes, and yes, it brought the Scripture to life. Yeah,
and just sitting there like wow, like just to see
the meekness and not only that, it helped that The
character who played Jesus was a great actor. You could
tell that he was he was he was born again.
But it was the way that he embodied and spoke
the scripture. You'd be like, I feel like I was

(14:40):
walcome with Jesus myself, you know. But I say that
all to say is because Jesus embodied the fruit of
the spirit, and to boil up, to boil up to
summarize the entire pastoral call or I guess the five
fold minute stry it requires.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
You can't do it in your own strength fivefoldfold.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
You have to do it in with the fruit of
the Spirit and with the spirit of God. He said,
my will is to do the will of the Father.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
The spirit of the.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Lord is upon me to preach the gospel, to give
sight to those that are blind. And that was he
was so focused. And we have to remember that we
don't go in our own strength. And we have to
remember that when we're called, we are called on behalf
of someone. We're an ambassador, We're an extension of that right. Yes, amen. Amen.

(15:39):
So that being said, that's just a little a little stummery.
I'm going to touch touch on that again. But I
wanted to actually share some more encouragement because I was
I was reading the news and I wanted to share
that Listen, the Lord is moving. We're talking about the
Lord leading raising up leaders. He is He is actually

(16:01):
moving within the young people. And I wanted to just
give some share some testimonies on what God is doing
in the youth around the world, across the United States.
When you think that they not listening, or you think
that you know you're not getting through, you getting through
to them, it's just not going to be in your timing.

(16:21):
But listen, your labor is not in vain, Mom, Dad,
youth pastor, pastors, pastor, I want to share this article.
It's the young man. His name is Abraham. I don't
know how to say his last name, Agui lad. I
guess he comes from a Spanish background. Right, So this

(16:42):
young man, he was a former drug user. You do
you know about him? No, he was a former drug user.
And he's a student at Palmdale, California High And it
says that he's he led nearly nine hundred fellow students
to the Lord in the past year. And so well,

(17:02):
I'm gonna read the says there's hope even when it
seems like it's impossible because addiction makes you feel there's
no other way, he told God. God reports Jesus is
the way, and nothing else in the world can be
substituted for Jesus. As a youth, Aguilar wanted to be
a professional soccer player, but when he broke his collar bone,
he lost hope in his dream and fell in with

(17:25):
his older brother and friends into smoking marijuana. He says,
my life was completely black sliding, he said. Then his
mom got married and moved from la to Palmdale. She
delivered an ultimatum to her son, if you want to
live in my house, you've got to go to church.
After hearing his sermon about hell, he reached out to
a brother in the church and asked for prayer. Not

(17:46):
long after that, a brother invited him to a men's
discipleship seminar. He hooked the still reluctant Aguilar by offering
to take him out to eat. After the seminar, I
felt God saying it's either now or never, He said,
he I had to receive Jesus. Instead of prayer with
the pastor. I surrendered to Jesus and my life started changing.
Sharing his faith was part of that passion. I just

(18:07):
started witnessing to students, teachers and janitors. Adela said people
were very open. During lunch line, I would open my
mouth and started boldly proclaiming God's word. First, a group
of twelve got saved, and they launched a Bible study
on campus. By the end of the semester, two hundred
and seventy five teens had prayed to receive the Lord.
Their attendance was seventy three at the lunch Bible study,

(18:30):
and they had to move from a classroom to the gym.
In the second semester, he got even bolder. He preached
in the school square and seventy students responded. By the
year's end, eight hundred and ninety five high schoolers gave
their lives to Christ Lujah. He says, I didn't go
to church thinking I was going to change. Angular said,
I still had my earring in so slowly I started

(18:50):
taking steps. It's scary in the beginning, but when he
catched the flow of it, it all starts making sense.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
Facts. Hallelujah sounds like Jeremy, I know this.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
This This reminded me of a young man. His name
is Jeremy Jones. Shout out to the youth. Shout out
to Jeremy Jones. Jeremy Jones is another young man. He
is seventeen. We had him on our Bible study and
this man is preaching the gospel just like this young man.
These are young evangelists. This is the evangelism. This is

(19:22):
the anointing of the evangelists to be able to draw
a crowd. Right. That is an anointing that this man
of God has a call. And I believe that there
isn't an anointing. There's a Joshua anointing and a Caleb
anointing that are gonna that's resting upon the young people
right now to go out and to yank the young
These youths that are out here in the clutches of

(19:44):
the enemy's hand, those that are bold and that are
rising up on these campuses, whether it be college campuses,
high school, they are preaching this word. They are getting saved. Listen.
I want to encourage leaders not to dumb down your messa. Listen,
he heard about hell. I remember when my husband preached

(20:05):
about hell and I was like, oh Lord, there it is.
We ain't gonna have no friends. Nobody's gonna like us. Leaders,
please keep preaching this gospel. Do not dumb down. Leaders,
senior pastors, apostles, prophets, do not dumb down your message
preaching about righteousness, about hell. There is a hell. Anybody's

(20:28):
telling you all don't know. The truth needs to go forth,
It needs to be heard, and it might not feel
good to the flesh, but listen, you're there to watch
over the soul. We are there to watch over and
shepherd the souls of the youth of the body of Christ.
We have a responsibility and we have to know that

(20:50):
it's about the seed that we're planting, not about our fame,
not about how we may look. Because listen, I still
that was one thing that I had to understand about
this call. You have to forsake popularity. And I know
that my husband, for me, has been a great example
of somebody who.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
He don't really care.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
And it's been good that I have been able to
walk this journey with him because he's more seasoned than
I am. But you know, he was once mister popular.
Even even the Lord tested him on that as well,
because he had like a large following at one point,
right that was like, no, you need to drop them, right,

(21:31):
But you started getting so focused and your message even
started to change more prophetic, and I was like, oh now.
I was like, no, he didn't go there. And I
used to stay, why are preaching that?

Speaker 4 (21:41):
I said, they're not gonna listen to us?

Speaker 3 (21:45):
And he did. He said, I love it. He was like, listen,
I have to do. He reduced me just like Jesus.
We're gonna go back.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
We don't walk back, just like Jesus rebuked.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
The disciples in the Gospels. We're gonna go back to
that because I'm going somewhere. He was like, listen, I
have to speak with the Lord tells me to speak,
and this is what he's telling me to speak. I'm like, God,
why would you have him talking about hell? People already
they scared. I'm like, Jesus always supposed to what is it?
Be wise as a serpent? If we just come out,
just head on about hell?

Speaker 4 (22:13):
You know?

Speaker 3 (22:14):
And I kept thinking about you know, it was my
flesh and how we were gonna look at this and that. Now,
going back to having a live example, the disciples were
so blessed to have Jesus himself walking and they still
struggle with their faith. Listen, I'm telling you this walk.

(22:35):
You will have times where you will get weary. You
will have times where you will be disappointed. You will
have times where you will want to or be tempted
to throw out the towel, want to look, want to
look at to the left, want to look at to
the right, one to compare. But it's such a blessing.
I was just thinking, how grateful is to have an
actual mentor somebody who's pastoring you. And I didn't realize

(22:57):
that my husband was that person in my life to
keep me focused like the Disciples, like the Disciples had Jesus,
Like the Disciples had Jesus to rebut them when they were.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
And I know that I give my husband a hard
time about things like that. I feel like, listen, you
who wish you You're like, excuse me, I'm like, you know,
sometimes we can get the big head as well when
we have the path. We don't want to be corrected,
you know, but listen. One thing about leadership is that
you have to embrace correction. You have to learn to

(23:34):
embrace correction if you want to grow, if you truly
want to grow and improve. And I say that to
say because I'm still thinking about the scenes in the
Chosen And there's a specific scene that really just stood
out to me that I think just fits that I
want to share with you all. There was a moment
in time when Jesus was with Big James. It's Big James,
Little James. He was with James and John and they

(23:56):
were out in the community and they came up, came up.
They came up with a crowd of I think were Jews,
I'm not sure, but I apologize. But within the scene,
these gentlemen didn't really care for them too much, and
they ended up spitting on James and John and I

(24:22):
don't meany no, listen, somebody's gonna spit on you. You're
gonna be like what, It's gonna be a brawl.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
You know.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
And these two disciples, they were very passionate. And I'm
just describing the scene because obviously in scripture and then
trying to make it into a film, they changed it
up a bit. But within that scene, it's just it
was just to show the character of the disciples and

(24:49):
Jesus's temperance, the juxtaposition and how he was so self
control to hold them back.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
It was the way that he spoke with.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
Them yet that's what he says. All he had to
say was quiet and he just hold he held his
hand back right. So he was there to be that
pastor right to cover them because just imagine in their
weakness there who knows what would have you know not
not who knows there would have been a fight because
those boys had anger issues and Jesus was working with them.

(25:20):
He was like, Yo, you can't be going out like
I'm just I'm paraphrasing, but Yo, you can't. You know,
you gotta you can't be going out and you know,
and and and reacting on your emotions like that, because
guess what, you're gonna mess up what I've come here
to do. I'm focused, so you need to get mine.
I'm I'm I'm paraphrasing. But it was the fact that

(25:41):
he knew how to balance, how to be that pastor,
to give that correction and then bring it on in
and give them that love that they needed to and
to show them their strengths. WHOA, it was so glory, glory, glory.
It was just it was dope to me. I don't know,
but I was just like very I was. I was

(26:01):
a namor because I know that my husband's like that,
you know, and I think about, man, I'm so blessed
to have that, Like it's a blessing to have leadership.
What I'm saying, it's a blessing to have leadership in
your life, and it's a blessing for you to know
how to be able to lead as well, and to
see what that looks like. I can see what that

(26:21):
looks like because I have somebody here. My husband's a
spuyn example of somebody who has temperance, who has meekness,
And when I need to be weak, I can think
about him, and I can think about Christ. I can
be like, Okay, well I actually have a living example
right here, my husband, you know, and Jesus. Of course,
if you don't have anybody else Jesus. But it's always
a blessing to have people in your life who can

(26:45):
embody the food of the spirit so you can grow.
So back to the scene, So these guys were humiliated,
told to go back to where they came from. Jesus.
All he did was hold their hand out to prevent them.
He just said one word. But those guys were so angry,

(27:06):
and even within his gentleness, he was able to calm
them down. And talk to them to where they can understand.
He was able to give them perspective because it was like,
he was, like, you said that we had the power
to call fire from heaven. What you're talking about? They
need to die. That's what we quick to do with leaders, right. Oh,

(27:30):
anybody we go in, we're pastor this, past or that,
and somebody says something that we don't like. Excuse me,
do you know who I am? Come on now, y'all
can't tell me I'm not.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Speaking truth.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
I began to think about my own life. But here's
the kicker. He gave them perspective. He gave them perspective.
He said, listen, I'm here to sow seed. I've come
to sow seed in those in their life. And you're
telling me just because they said something mean to you,
all of a sudden, you're seeming like you're better than them.

(28:08):
You're basically putting yourself up on a pedestal. And they
were like we are. He was like, no, let me
tell you something. You think you're better than them? He said,
well you're not. He said, you need to be humble.
I was like, oh, my goodness. And the whole point
is that sometimes we can be self righteous. We can

(28:28):
look at other people and expect and and and think
that who are they to talk to us like that
when guess what Jesus made himself of no reputation. We
can't share in the glory of Christ and not expect
to share in the persecution and the suffering. Listen, I'm
going somewhere. I'm going somewhere. It's about the fruit of
the spirit, walking into humility, right, turning that blind eye.

(28:52):
Even when we get mistreated, we get fat on. It
might not be a physical spat on, but there are
times when we my h and I both have gotten violated.
Because really, if we wanted to call fire down for
a heaven and one of us had to be the
mature and we be like no, either my husband's had
a weak moment. We'll be like no, we know, you know,

(29:15):
my husband's from the hood. So sometimes you know, and
it's like no, no, no, babe, no, come on now,
we had to make a decision there and to do
the work. I want to go to these scriptures because,
like I said, I believe that the pastoral sums up
to these two scriptures sums up the pastoral and what
we are striving to cultivate as leaders. As pastors leaders

(29:37):
we do, we are held to a higher standards. Teachers
of the law, we are judged more harshly. Right, we're
servants of the Lord, aren't We aren't supposed to be quarreling.
We're supposed to be leading with gentlemens. I want you
to read these scriptures, babes Io Timothy two and twenty four.

Speaker 4 (29:53):
Got up here.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Hopefully for the sake of time, you can do that.

Speaker 4 (30:01):
We're gonna go to second Timothy to verse twenty four
right now, and you have everything that you're saying is
very much one point, you know. So it's a love walk,
a love walk, and a lot of times we a
love walk is very much a ignoring of the flesh,

(30:24):
because the flesh is wicked, you know, And before you
know it, we're rolling and rolling right in the flesh.
You gotta keep it in check. Second Timothy to verse
twenty four from the Amplifier Bible says the servant of
the Lord must not participate in quarrels, but must be
kind to everyone, even tempered, preserving peace. And he must

(30:51):
be skilled in teaching, patient and tolerant when wrong.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
That's exactly what Jesus teaching the disciples, and that scene
he was teaching them patient. He was actually skilled in
teaching because not only did he to correct them, but
he was able to change the perspective in the process,
calm them down all at the same time, and then
give them something else, give them another way to reroute
their anger, telling them about well, you can have passion,

(31:23):
but there's a way to have passion righteously, but you
have to do it in a manner of uh.

Speaker 4 (31:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
He did that all in like one breath. I was like,
you know, like he was just bad, you know, yeah,
bad meaning good And I, like I said, when as
I was watching that, it reminded me of my husband,
because my husband he's like my uh my Jesus, my.

Speaker 4 (31:53):
Jesus, I followed Jesus.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, my husband. He has that trait
of meekness, you know, that self control where I have
learned and I want to say gleaned from, but I've
had had to learn and work on that over the
years and having that meekness when people mistreat I'm still
working on that that I think for me, that's the
hardest part of this journey and being a leader. But

(32:19):
letting people mistreat you and allowing God to get the
glory out of that and not taking it into our
own hands. I'm still not where I want to be.
But that is all a part of sharing in the persecution.
And that's all a part of the walk, y'all, and
what it takes. And when my husband says what it takes,

(32:41):
that's what it takes. That flesh has got to die.
We have to be more humility. We have to walk
in humility, be more humble. Like when you think you're humble,
even more humble. There's more. There's another level of humility
that the Lord desires to take.

Speaker 4 (32:55):
And and and the thing is is that you know,
and I fleshed, we won't be able to do it,
and our own will we won't be able to do it.
We will be able to do it only with Jesus' faith,
with Jesus' strength, with Jesus will. Remember, Jesus had the
will to be humble. So if we use our own will,

(33:17):
we ain't gonna be humble for much longer. If we
use the flesh, we ain't gonna be humble for much longer.
We will for a minute, But after a minute we're
going to reach your breaking point and then it's over.
Jesus never had that breaking point. He never went beyond
that because he knew that he had to be the
best example. You know, everything that he did was a

(33:40):
righteous walk and was a holy walk. And so that's
why he came and did that. He came in the
flesh for two reasons, one to see how to God
came in the flesh. One to be able to feel
how humans feel on the level that they feel it,

(34:01):
and then to teach how to go against that feeling
with holy feelings. Lujah. And that's what this word is
saying right here, the servant of the law. When you
become a servant of the law, that means you become
a student of the Lord. That means you become a
student that's going to learn what it means to be tolerant,

(34:22):
what it means to be patient, what it means. You
will become skilled in teaching. Hence you will learn how
to not participate in qulls. You will learn how to
preserve peace. You will learn how to be even tempered
and not go above and beyond in an opposite direction.

(34:44):
There's one more thing that I wanted to touch on
is when you said leaders, don't stop teaching, don't stop
giving the word. How God tells you to get the work,
because let me tell you say, it ain't stopping. Okay.
These youths that were able to be pulled out of

(35:05):
the pit, okay, there's a lot of them. But there's
also a lot of the youths that are in the pit, uh,
that are running the pit, that are loving what say
and it's saying okay, loving the pilfering of the videos
and the movies and the and and social media and

(35:28):
all the negativities that come out of it. They're giving
into it and there and they're acting out there, acting
like hell casts. However, even these hell cats need to
still be uh uh. They they need strong leaders. And
these strong leaders that are not afraid to still give

(35:48):
the word, They're not afraid to still speak up and
talk about uh Christ who are not who's not afraid
to spread the gospel, who are not afraid to talk
about greats who not afraid. So because and so, you
cannot be people led. You've got to be God. Let.
You got to be godlet in order to do that.

(36:09):
And the last thing I wanted to say before you continue,
uh you said, you know, you can't be afraid to
get to get dirty. Yeah. Now, I want everybody to
imagine a gardener. When a gardener goes out, a true gardener,
when he goes out or she goes out to to
to to tend to the garden. They put on those boots,

(36:30):
they put on those gloves and and and they don't
look the best. And they get down on their knees
and they get in that dirt and they get grimy.
And some people just use their hands and they get
in there and they and they know what they're doing,
the planting the seas. They're tilling the the tilling the soil.
They're they're putting up what you call that uh uh,
what do you call that fertilizer in the ground and

(36:52):
and there, and they get dirty in there, they get dirty.
But guess what, guess what you know, And that's all
for the for for the plants. It's all for the
seas that need to to that's gonna bear fruit later on,
because once the fruit bears, once that grass comes up,
once the fruit that the trees and uh and and
and and the flowers sprout, is the beautiful thing. It's

(37:13):
a beautiful thing. So when you got the plant the seed,
it's not gonna be pretty. You're gonna say things that's
not gonna make you popular. You're gonna do things that's
gonna make you look weird. Okay, uh uh uh uh.
And you're going to have to speak up in front
of people and confess Jesus's Lord and savior. Uh through

(37:35):
what you say and through what you do. And it's
not gonna be funny, and you're gonna be lonely. But
guess what, that's all part of the garden. It's all
a part of you being a gardener. Because what will
come out of that somebody and that audience, somebody that's
watching you, somebody, a thugger of whoever they might be,
an atheist, a scientist, they're listening and they're looking at

(37:59):
their courage that you took to just reach the people
and not give up and go against the millions of
people that come against you. Those are the ones that
are going to Those are the ones that's going to
come out bearing the fruit of what you planted, the
other seed that you planted. And it might not happen
when you're ready to see it, it might happen later on.

(38:21):
You might not never see it, but just know somebody
planning the seed in this young man's heart, and they
took off. Look what happened, Look what happened. There was
somebody who planted the seed. Uh that I saw years
ago and I'm gonna pass it today. Somebody planning the
seed for you. Bad that that that they were courageous enough.

(38:42):
They were the gardener and and and when you was
whipping and tearing you when you didn't want to hear it,
they planning a seed in you. You on the radio,
even Jerry, everybody, everybody had a minute where they where
where where where they where? They fell back or or
was it in it and and or gave up a backslid.

(39:02):
You know, somebody planted the seed for you, or somebody
who just wasn't saved. You know, maybe you was whipping
and tearing, uh, causing up people was out in the
streets and the schools or wherever you was at. Somebody
was praying for you. Somebody planning the seed. Somebody came
and told you about Jesus and used to then. And
I ain't trying to hear that. I'm having fun. I'm
shocking and driving, I'm dipping and diving. You was going in.

(39:27):
You know, you you you you didn't care about sinning.
You didn't you thought you you you you were sinning.
You was winning, you know. But but now, but and
then later on, some something something led you to Christ.
Something some some something, some something pulled you in. You
you might have been in a bad situation, and that
you remembered that seed that was planning. You said, you know,

(39:47):
let me give Genus a shot. I tried all the rest,
Now let me try the best. And you went and
did it. And now you're professing the word of God
everywhere that you go. And man, somebody planting the seeds.
So it's very important that now house and somebody planning
to see for you, leaders or whoever you are. Now
it's time for you to be the gardener. It's time
for you to get dirty, because Satan ain't stopping a man.

(40:12):
I apologize for that. Glory to God, back to.

Speaker 6 (40:20):
Jesus and his disciples. He was He was always refocusing
the disciples. Please, when you get a chance, read Matthew, Mark, Luke,
and John the gospels to get a clear context and

(40:42):
you know, get biblical biblically sound.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
And you know how Jesus pastored the disciples, how he
corrected them in love. But when you read it, you'll
notice that he would rebuke anyone, anybody that would get
in the way of what he was called to do,
his assignment. M He was always rebuking anybody or anyone

(41:10):
right because his assignment was most important. Then anybody's flesh
rising up and he took his authority and rightfully so.
And if you didn't get in line, then you had
that I guess you had to ship up and ship
either shape up or ship out. And disciples, they quickly,
some of them, And that is one of the one

(41:35):
of the what it takes you either gotta you know,
when God puts people in your life that are there
to carve out or prone things, see things in you,
it's for you to mature, spiritually, mature.

Speaker 4 (41:47):
And that's just what happened. Jesus met them in the
mess when they were messy, and after he left, look
what they did.

Speaker 7 (41:56):
The seeds that he planned, but the seeds that he
planted in them. And once he left, look how he
took off. Look look how they took off. Yes, and
and and and and and they became you know, apostles
and just just for it. Everywhere sees that he planted
in them took root, and they took off to where

(42:19):
their words that was led by via.

Speaker 4 (42:21):
Holy Spirit is is saving billions today from what they
did then, of what Jesus implanted in them. The seas
the master gardener, it says.

Speaker 3 (42:38):
And second to me is born too. We are to
preach the word, be prepared in season and out of season, correct, rebuke,
and encouraged with great patience and careful instruction. And that's
exactly what Jesus did. And that's exactly a part of
the pastoral call.

Speaker 4 (42:55):
Amen and man, and guess what, because the end of
our episode, we're gonna have to come back next week,
no hoes barred, and we gotta talk about this some more.
That's to say, this pastor of the journey is ongoing.
And man, so we're gonna come back next week and
talk more about this because it's imperative. It's imperative that

(43:19):
we know, uh to what extent, breadth, height, weight, and
wit that Jesus wants this word peach. It's got to
be peace to the four corners of the earth, and
we're doing it in one hundred and fifty countries we got,
we got our word plan panned out for us. Amen.
So if you want to know Jesus, okay, you can.

(43:43):
You can get to know him by uh uh you can.
You can get to know him personally by repeating these
words with me. You don't have to if you don't
want them, force you to. But if you said you

(44:03):
get to know him, you'll come into your life immediately.
Heavenly Father, Heavenly Father. I'm a sinner.

Speaker 3 (44:10):
I'm a sinner.

Speaker 4 (44:11):
No, I don't want to send anymore.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
I don't want to send it anymore.

Speaker 4 (44:14):
I recognize, I recognize that Jesus, that Jesus sacrifice his life.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
Sacrifices life on the cross, on the cross.

Speaker 4 (44:20):
For me, for me, for my iniquity, for my infirmities,
for my injuries, for my sins, for my guilt, for
my guilt, and for my condemnation. And I want Jesus
want to come into my life right now, my life,
to shape me, hold me and moldent into what you got,
into what you got, want me to be, want me

(44:42):
to thank you Jesus, Thank you Jesus coming into my life,
into my life. And I repent my sins, which means
I want to make. I want to make one hundred
and eighty degree turns into what you got? What you got,
want me to be, want me to thank you God
in Jesus name. Amen, hallelujah. You did it.
