Amen amen yah. If he just joined us, you are
listening to the Positive Power twenty one radio network and
you're listening to the Love Chapters mister and missus Devil Slayer,
and we are still continuing our series on the past
thorough journey. Now, I will say that we've been walking
(03:30):
through this journey literally as we've been talking about this journey.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
And and honestly, I just think that our adversary doesn't
really want us to share, you know, anything that we
have to say regarding us, doesn't want us to encourage
you all, you know, but specifically a lot of what
we're having to say is to share and to encourage
leaders in general. So but you know what, we take
a thord, We just take authority, we exert our authority,
(04:00):
and we win. Amen, we still win. We are victorious.
We think. We thank God for the prayers. Like I said,
we are walking through our own personal journeys and our
journeys corporately as leaders and just Christians being in the fold.
So it does come with a lot of responsibility and
(04:20):
a lot of challenges, a lot of challenges. But listen,
we can we can, we can lead you because we've also.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Been re a lot of attacks as well.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
So just continue, we just asked, humbly, just continue to
pray our strength in the.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Lord, pray for all our leaders and.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Deliver this word yeah, without compromise. And that being said, uh,
last time, I brought some cultural relevancy to the show
for those that have been following the series. And I've
been watching and studying well the Gospels, but I've been
doing it through the lens of the Chosen and I'm
(05:01):
just a very visual person and it's just been blessing me.
It's been blessing me tremendously just getting to see visually
from the perspective of the filmmaker how Jesus walked the
earth and the person who is I just wanted to
give a shout out to the actor who plays Jesus
in this series is doing a tremendous job. All of
the actors actually, but something about the character that they chose.
(05:24):
They chose the right one, but oh boy, I just
really believe that it takes a lot of character and
christ Like character to really be sustained and maintained on
(05:47):
this journey, and being able to really study Jesus really
allows us to really figure out what that looks like,
if that makes sense, knowing that we can't do it
in our own strength, but as we begin to study
the life of Christ in the God schools, reading about it,
also digging deeper into the different versions, we can get
a sense of who the real Christ, who the real
(06:08):
Messiah was. Because Jesus, although he was loving and fluffs
and all that, he has an edge to him if
you really, you know, really study the scripture, he has
some edge to him, which I really liked. You know,
sometimes we think that being Christians, we got to be
soft and things like that. But and he had such
a silent strength about him as well, and he had
(06:32):
such an authority and a strength that I really liked.
But it will definitely bless bless you to go back
and read it, not just to watch watch that series
which I will co sign on and read read the Gospels. Matthew,
Mark Luke, and John. Okay, my husband had assigned that
Tommy like a while ago. So I've been studying that
(06:54):
and reading it myself. And you know, we don't ask
you all or recommend you all to do any thing
of we're not doing it. But in any event, I
had brought that to the show just as just as
an example of what it takes, what does it take
to lead as a leader in the body of Christ,
(07:16):
meaning the fivefold And I'm going to return to our
foundational scripture because we started with the Fusions four eleventh
through fourteen, which talks about the call of the fivefold. Now,
Jesus a called the disciples, which I believe was that
that was the beginning of the fold, right, But Ephesians
four talks about us him, excuse me, us being called
to the fold. Scripture. Let's just say teachings describe it
(07:41):
as the five fold, but actually scripture breaks it down.
I believe in the message is where I found it's
actually four fold because it talks about apostles, prophets, evangelists,
and pastor teachers. Pastors and teachers being one gift, which
make it a fourfold. But I'm gonna go ahead and
read the foundational scripture for those who are just joining
(08:03):
us comes from Ephesians four eleven through fourteen. I'm reading
in the New International version. Would you like to read, babe?
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Sure? Then?
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Uh So, Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the
evangelist that passes, and teachers to equip his people for
works of service, so that the Body of Christ may
be built up until we are all, until we all
reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of
the sin of God and become mature, attaining to the
(08:40):
whole measure of the fullans of Christ. Then we will
no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the
waves and blown here and there by every wind of teaching,
and by the cunning and craftiness of people and their
deceitful scheming man.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
So this scripture, basically it embodies the reasons why we
need leadership and the reason why Christ gave us leaders
He gave us leaders for a reason, and it's to
mature us, to grows up so we can be mature
and rightly divide the word as well, know what we're
(09:23):
reading in the Bible as well. And I want to
I want to actually address something with that. But we're
living in a culture where a lot of us don't
want to be led. We have been given over to
reprobate minds. We're leading ourselves and culture is out of
order biblically, biblically speaking. And on the other hand, I
can understand why, because there's been a lot of mistrust,
(09:47):
distrust in the faith, in the pulpit, in the household
of faith. A lot of people have been hurt by
leadership and I get that, you know, So I believe
I'm believing the Lord for a restoration of leadership all
across the globe, you know, because when you say you're
gonna trust somebody to be your pastor, it's it's it's
on a personal level, and that has been broken. It's
(10:08):
been breached. And I get that, and I think a
lot of a lot of Christians and people need healing,
you know. But then on the other side, we can't
do a way and do it without it. We have
got to get the healing that we need and return
back unto the biblical order that Christ has put into
place so we can get what we need to get
to have proper understanding and to properly grow mature the
way that we need to amen. And this scripture right
(10:31):
here is just a little reminder of that on how
God didn't leave us without leadership. He gave leadership for
a reason. And there are other scriptures that also highlight,
you know, the qualifications and you know, if you're gonna
desire the office of a oversea or so forth and
so on, but we just wanted to focus on this one.
(10:51):
If you go back in the prior messages, I I
believe we did uh read that as well, But we
were talking about what it takes right, what has taken us,
and what it is still requiring of us. Looking at
the life of Jesus. Looking at the life of Jesus.
That's what we're talking about. What we want to know
how to lead well. Jesus is our ultimate example. Read
(11:15):
the gospels. Read the gospels to really get an understanding
of what he did on this or he was about
his father's business. He was focused, and I believe that
so many people looked up to him because of his stance.
He was resolute, he was a secure leader. He spent
time with the father. There's so many different qualities, but
(11:37):
I have I just wanted to sum up just certain
qualities that I believe in. What it takes to be
a leader. It requires showing up when it doesn't feel
good or when you don't feel like it. Jesus was
an example of stability. He was an example if you
read the Gospels, and I'm reminded of when he was
(11:59):
in the book, he just you know, I think that
was an example he did that as example, him just
leaving his disciples and going to sleep. To me, that
was that example to see Okay, let me see what
my disciples are gonna are gonna do. You know, they've
been with me for a while. Let me see if
they're gonna really trust me. At this point in juncture,
they'd already seen the miracles, they've already heard my teachings.
(12:21):
Now come on, you know, I like to get in
the mind of Jesus and the times and all of that.
But he basically just went to sleep. Right there was turmoil.
There was you know, on the seas, and it wasn't
peaceful as it should have been. And disciples they basically panicked,
you know, being in the presence of God right like
(12:42):
they were like, you know, I'm paraphrasing using my own words,
but you know, Rabbi they called him rabbi, which is teacher, Rabbi, Rabbi,
do you not care that we're gonna be drowning? You know,
there's different versions that translate the conversation, but that's.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
Basically what they were saying, basically, do you not care?
Speaker 2 (13:00):
And he is like what now? Disciples like I like
to get in this by like He's probably like what now,
just straight to the point, you know, he was like,
ye've little faith? Basically ye of little faith. He was
their stability. Anytime the disciples they got into their emotions
(13:21):
or they they they showed doubt or anything like, he
was always the one to reel them back in. And
what am I saying? That does a very important trait
and character have as a leader if you're one call
to ministry. Now, I'm not saying that it you know,
this is something that is an overnight character quality is
something that is a lifelong process because obviously he was
(13:43):
the Messiah. He was one hundred percent man and he's
one hundred percent God. But it's something that we can
cultivate by the fruit of the Spirit. Amen. We can
have consistency, we can be stable, we can show up
when we don't feel when we don't feel good or
feel like it, because we have to do it in
the fruit of the spirit. Right, even when we don't
feel like preaching or teaching or doing whatever God asked
(14:06):
us to do. It doesn't even have to be that.
It could just be in our own personal walk with God.
You know, we're just being disobedient. That is also something
that we can implement because not only do we lead outwardly,
but we also lead inwardly in our personal lives. Leadership
actually starts within right in our own personal relationships, and
(14:27):
that's exactly what Jesus taught as well, you know, leading
amongst your first relationships your brother, your mom, your father,
or a spouse, your wife. That's where you practice leadership,
and then everything else funnels out. Number two, I said,
walking in humility and crucifying the flesh. So I kind
of already touched on that, but it does require us
(14:50):
walking in humility to fulfill the call to lead, walking
in a certain level of humility. And I use the
example of when people are coming at you, or you're
in the face of persecution, how do you handle that?
Do you get into the flesh? You know, what do
you do? Do you try to defend yourself? Because if
(15:10):
we say we're trusting in our God, he said that
vengeance is his right, we'll know exactly how where we
are if we can funnel funnel, you know, funnel funnel
our characters through the lens of Christ, through the gifts
of the Holy Spirit, through the fruit of the spiraculations. Five,
how are we handling where's our humility level?
Speaker 4 (15:30):
You know?
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Are we okay with people talking about us? There was
an example in the Holy Scriptures where the Romans shoulders.
They basically embarrassed the two of the disciples, and they
were ready to come for him, and Jesus had to
rebuke them, and I was like, no, we don't do that.
(15:53):
You know, I'm just paraphrasing. Do you remember that, babe?
Speaker 3 (15:58):
I do, Yep, yep, yes.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
So we have to definitely, always, I think, assess our
character because there's always people that are watching. My husband's
watching my character how I respond to him. I don't
always get it right, y'all. That's all I know. I
need Christ. I don't always get it right my character.
I know that I have to continually work on. The
Bible says humble yourself under the mighty hand of God.
(16:27):
We have to do the humbling every day. And I
realize I'm like, oh gosh, I'm not there yet. There's
pride and ego that I didn't realize that I still
have that. I need to crucify that flesh so I
can properly lead and be a better example. Especially when
your influence grows, that's when you know your pride. You
get even more puffed up, and that's when it gets harder.
(16:48):
But if you can practice those things. Now, it's like
it can get easier the more you do it. And
that's my area to pray for me, y'all, pray for me,
you know. But it's good because you know, if you
can acknowledge that the Lord can work with you, the
Holy Spirit can work with you, though, and so walk
into humility and criasifying the flesh. And this is a
(17:10):
big one. Next one was not giving into people pleasing
definitely is a requirement for leadership. You can't. This has
to do with like coming to terms of your popularity. Now,
Jesus was very popular, but he wasn't popular according to
the world's standards, meaning, well, the guy was Jesus was rich, y'all.
(17:32):
I mean all that everybody say Jesus poor. Jesus was
not poor, Okay, he was royalty. Nobody whips worships and
bows down and gives gifts to somebody if they're not
of a certain cut from a different cloth. You go
back and read your scriptures and know that that when
he was born, there were people that came from all
over and worshiped him and gave him gifts and silver.
If you really study in that time, people just don't
(17:54):
do that. Just to anybody in that culture and time.
You have to be of a certain pedigree. So he
was royalty and he gave that all up for you. Yes,
I'm saying for you, for me, for my spouse, for
all of us. Amen. Amen is right, but not giving
into people pleasing. So what am I saying? You have
(18:16):
to make up in your mind if you want to
lead and be a Christian one, you're going to be leading,
and you're going to be following the Lord Jesus and
doing things that might not always agree with other people,
might ruffle the feathers. You know. That's one thing that
I noticed about Christ. He came and brought a shift,
(18:38):
and those Pharisees did not like it. And they were
supposed to be one of the well respected people within
their time. The Pharisees, you know, the religious leader. Excuse me,
but they were the very ones that came against everything
that he came and stood for everything. They they the
(19:00):
ones that persecuted him to death. Are those that know,
you know, know their scripture. We know this, So how
much more of those things are gonna happen to those
that follow? We have to be prepared for that. We
cannot take the good and not take the bad. We
cannot rise in the glory and not accept the persecution.
And that was one thing that I had to come
to terms with. These are things we have to come
to terms with. But knowing that you know, when we
(19:24):
are persecuted, the Bible promises that ours is the kingdom
of heaven. It says to rejoice, rejoice, rejoice, because they
persecute the prophets back then and there right. Our reward
is great when we know that we're being persecuted. But
we know that guess what, He overcame all of those things,
and we can remember, we can remember and know to
(19:48):
rejoice and that we have the victory because our big
bro Jesus already walked and prepared the way for us.
Right he did it. Yes, it does get challenging sometimes,
persecution and having to turn the other cheekers as the
scriptures say, and not retaliating, especially if you know that
(20:09):
you have a violent paths or you're you're you're one
of those knucking buck type of but you were one
of those knucking buck type of folks, you be tempted
to go back to that resort. But it's a different
way of life now, different type of training and renewing
the mind and the word and not respond. But guess what,
even if you were that knucking but God can still
(20:29):
use you. Don't be ashamed. You know He can still
use you despite your weaknesses, your shortcomings. We just have
to lean on what relations fie the fruit of the spirit.
I know that it's God working through you, but he
still needs your Yes, he can't do anything if you
don't want you don't want to, He's not gonna override
(20:51):
you in that manner. Amen. So yes, not giving into
people pleasing. There will be some things as leaders that
we're gonna have to stand on. You know, the big
the tough issues are you know?
Speaker 5 (21:04):
What do you?
Speaker 2 (21:05):
How are leadership? And this is a call to action
to leaders. Are you gonna preach about hell if God
tells you to? Are you gonna address certain topics like abortion, homosexuality? Yes,
we are called to love those that are not like us,
who have different sexual orientation than us. Yes, we are
still called to address those issues. Are you Are you
going to address those issues? Are you not gonna address
(21:27):
how are you gonna addre These are things that you
have to think about just to keep your pews warm
or or your your your finances. I mean, you know
you got to think about these things. Are you gonna
stand for righteousness? What is right? You know, man and
man and woman and women were not meant to be.
That's not biblical. Okay. Now, it doesn't mean that you
(21:49):
go around hating or or persecuting. You will love. You
can love, and that's another that's a whole nother teaching.
But love also requires truth. Yes, right, I'm not gonna
our soul. Our jobs as leaders to watch over your soul.
So for me not to tell you the truth, woe
is me. That's blood on my hands, right, And there's
(22:11):
a way that you can tell the truth. And people
still might get offended, but at least you know that
their blood is not on your hands. And it's okay.
You might hate me now, but love me later. Hate
me now, but love me later. My job is to
watch over your soul. Whoo. That was a that was
tough to say, Lord, But like I said, I'm just
(22:32):
being obedient to the Holy Spirit. We love, We love
every we do. We are called to love everyone. But
in that it doesn't always mean that it's gonna be
cushy cushion. We know this why talk to every parent?
Talk to a parent? Is your love always every day
to your child? Is it always? Oh? Is it always better? Roses? No,
there's sometimes some hard truth there's tough love. There's some
(22:53):
hard truths sometimes that you have to share and tell
your kids. But it doesn't mean that you don't love
them right Yep. They might cry they I hate you,
they might not want to talk to you for a
long time, but it's still the truth. You're still loving
them right because you told them what they needed to
hear to grow them, to mature them, because you know
that it was better for them, for their growth and
(23:14):
maturity and for their soul, and so they won't hurt
themselves or harm themselves. That's part of the chastisement and
the love that the Father in Heaven gives his children. Amen. Amen, Will,
I'm gonna let you take over, baby.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
You're you're right on point. Everything that you're saying is.
Speaker 4 (23:39):
Is, it's full of wisdom, and I'm just taking it
on in right now.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
And man, well, to God be the glory, to God
be the glory. We want to we want to be
better people, so therefore you can be better leaders. I've
been doing a lot of self assessment lately, and you know,
I know that I'm like, Lord, please make me better
in this I want to be better in this area.
He's just showing me, you know, all my times of
(24:04):
solitude to show me things that I need to work on,
you know. But I'm just thankful that I don't have
to try to do it out of my own performance anymore.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Yeah, you know, I.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Can submit surrendering those areas and know that he's continually
doing that work and just yield, you know, which is
definitely hard for me. But I'm getting better. In Jesus' name, men,
I think my husband will probably be the best person
to answer that.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Jerry Boyce Positive Power Network twenty one and we are
the Love Tractors. I'm mister Devi Slayer and.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
I'm missus Devil Slayer.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
We're talking about what it takes on.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
The pastoral journey to be a spiritual leader. Those that
desire a role to be an overseer. I believe all
of us can desire that. Amen.
Speaker 4 (24:50):
Amen, I just wanted to say that, you know, we're
talking to the leaders, but guess what, we're also talking
to those that are that don't think that they're meant
that they can lead. You know or have taken up
you know a stand. So just listening you you can
lead too. You can lead to really go to God
(25:11):
and see what is it you want you to do.
It's one of the most exhilarating and challenging things at
the same time because you you have to look at yourself.
Now you have to look at yourself. You're accountable for leading.
You're accountable. Don't never be don't never think you can't
do it. God has equipped you. Just go to journey,
(25:32):
stay focused, stay talking to them, staying your word, and
watch them take your places.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
Say amen Jesus, stay I ma'am amen.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
So can you share? Just give the people an example
of where you think that you know at in your
walk with the Lord and you being a pastor on
your journey, of what God has shown you about leadership
and where you think is the area that you're still
working on and maybe an area that you've overcome.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
Now there there's a lot of different levels and layers
to it. Where I where I've come, I'm I've I've
spiritually matured in some things and some things I'm still
a work in progress. Literally, I'll just talk about my
my me and my basketball pages. I'm still I'm I'm learning.
(26:21):
I'm learning how how to be constructive in my in
my h and who I think is the best players,
who I think is the are the best teams. And
I'm just learning how to be able to learn how
to interact without using my emotions so much, you know.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
So that's something.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
And and finding the right words and what to say,
cause I'm still you know, I I still believe in
you know, like a barbershop type thing where guys argue
about basketball and so forth and so on. And I
realized that I'm not setting myself aside.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
I'm being just like them.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
And and I've been made to realize that that this
you could, I could, I could, I could I could
have the Lord in that I could put the Lord
in that by just the way that I construct the
way that I talk. There's a way that you can
show Christ even when you're talking about basketball, you talk
about sports, talk about games, you talking about anything. You
(27:29):
can exude the christ like attitude, because sometimes I can
exude my old man, you know. So I'm learning how
to be able to be a leader in that regard
in using and choosing the right words to speak with
(27:50):
So that's what I'm working on right.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
Now and then and thank you for sharing that. Amen.
So I wanted to since we It's so funny because
since we've been on this pastoral journey, I've been you know,
on surfing on ig and just been encountering different leaders
(28:13):
different posts. As I know, I've shared some posts with you.
But leadership is being attacked right now. Yeah, leadership is
being attacked y'all. And we want you all to be
culturally aware and informed so you know how.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
To rightfully divide, rightfully be able to identify the spirits
in the room.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
Yes, yes, yes, I think that we're living in a
time where the Lord is shifting. There's a lot shifting
spiritually and how he wants to move and who he
wants to use. And I believe there's that Pharisee spirit
religion spirit that was back when Jesus time, spirit that
(28:59):
is rare, its ugly head and really coming up and
rising its ugly head, and well meaning believers that know
what they're doing and may not know what they're doing
and attacking putting their mouth meaning using their words to slander,
you know, people of the cloth, and really it's just
(29:20):
kind of sad sometimes to see women. You know, there's
been a major demonic attack on the preaching and teaching
of women as well. And you know, this is why
God has given leadership, you know. I mean, I'm gonna
(29:43):
let you take this one, husband. This is why we're
doing what we're doing, because God is clearly giving leadership
for a reason. So the word of God can be
rightly divided, so we can understand what scripture says, so
we don't go speak on things and making comments and error,
which is very important.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
Yeah, that's a challenging it self.
Speaker 4 (30:07):
You know, when the person is dead set, are things
that they know what they're talking about as well as
scriptures concerned, especially when it's coming from a religious mindset,
you know, and you can have people that's been following
(30:29):
these individuals for such a long time, and these individuals
might might might have such a religious spirit about them
that the leader and the congregations the wrong way. See, we've
(30:50):
been we've been blessed to be under the leadership of
a pastor that's really really divides the word the way
it needs to be divided, really speaks the word the
way it really needs to be spoken.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
And so.
Speaker 4 (31:11):
We're pretty much kind of like advanced in the information
world as far as being caught up with the spirit
holy Spirit. So we're blessed to be a part of
that this individual's life who teaches us. And what happens
(31:35):
is that we can then see who has the Pharisee spirit,
who has the religious spirit, who has the old Covenant,
old law based firing brimstone spirit as opposed to where
the Lord is trying to take the body of Christ
(31:57):
in spirit.
Speaker 3 (31:59):
And so.
Speaker 4 (32:02):
It's been a challenge to be able to first see
the attack that's done on the Christians, on the pastors,
on the leaders who are in spirit. First it's a
it's a challenge to be able to it's a challenge
(32:27):
to be able to see how they deal with it,
see the disrespect, the disrespect because it's unnecessary, and then
be able to have to con use the peace of
Jesus to come of Jesus to not to come at
them sideways, because it's it's a shame, you know, it's
(32:50):
just no respect. It's no respect for Gods, no respect
for the church, no respect for the pastors or the
preachers and the leaders of the church. With the room
is in the gossip and it's surprising to see the
gossip because these these individuals, they don't even go to
the church, they don't even they don't even know the
(33:10):
people of the church. But yet and still they're ready
to gossip, you know. And sometimes it's it's Christians that's gossiping.
All people that call themselves spiritualists are universal and so
forth with someone. And they're using the scripture, and they're
using all lot of contexts. So it is a challenge.
(33:34):
It is a challenge. And so you know, I guess
you want to talk about what happened today.
Speaker 5 (33:40):
I wanted to go back to the scripture just for
contexts since you said context on why we need leadership,
just to support Again, while we're talking about leadership meaning
in the body of Christ.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
Now we're just speaking about the body of Christ. We're
talking about the fourfold ministry. Coming from Ephesians four fourteen.
We did say to mature, to be mature, to be
matured and love and the things of God, reaching the
unity and the faith thirteen actually, and the knowledge of
(34:14):
the Son of God and becoming mature attaining to the
whole measure of the fullness of God Christ. So that's
the heart of God. That was his whole purpose. Okay,
it was love gift. When God gives something, it's out
of his love. Like, hey, I want my I want
my sheep to be matured. I want them to have guidance.
I don't want them to be tossed back and forth.
That's what fourteen says. They will no longer be infants,
(34:35):
tossed back and forth by the wave and blown here
and there by every wind of teaching. That's what's going on.
And by the cunningness excuse me, cunning and craftiness of
people in their deceitful schemings. This is the times we're
living in. There's teaching and cunning and craftiness and people
that are calling themselves pastors or whatever, and it's nothing
(34:58):
but deceit. And that's going to require the Bible says,
test each spirit by the spirit. That's going to require
walking in the gifts of the spirit. That's going to
be require you to be matured. Who are who is
your spiritual parent? Who is guiding you? You? You can't
leave yourself. I mean you can, but you're gonna be
in prophetic deception if you don't. That's what there's a
(35:20):
lot of people are leading themselves. They're thinking now, they're
thinking they can talk about tell the pastor what the
word says, like who's the spiritual leader here? You know,
you're telling the pastor now that what he help me?
Holy go. It is just a lot of unnecessary disorganization
(35:43):
going on that I'm seeing here as I'm reading comments,
and it's just it's it's sad, you know. But like
I said, everyone belongs to someone in a sense, you know.
And then there's some people that just want to say
things to start strife and start a fight. So it
really requires a level of discernment which you can get
(36:05):
being under someone. They can, you know, if you have
a leader, they can mature you and discern and help
you grow. They can mature you. That's the whole purpose,
to mature, to sit under someone to help you grow
in these areas, so you can see and be more
discerning in that area. You can learn hermeneutics and learn
(36:26):
how to rightly divide the word. You can understand the
difference between the Law and Moses, the and the New Covenant,
and the differences in how we're supposed to the Old
Covenant is for learning and the New Covenant is for
living and not mixing the two, and all of that
requires time, study, dedication, and rightly dividing the word, which
(36:47):
if you have a leader, they can help you do that.
If you can submit to one, they can help you
do that. Now, yeah, sure you can read the Word
on the self, but sometimes you don't get the whole picture.
You don't get the whole revelation.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
And so that's why God hasted this biblical order. Okay,
we all have different gifts, but we all need to
realize that it comes with a submission, to submitting one
to another, submitting unto a leader who God has appointed.
God did not appoint you. He did not anoint you
for leadership like he appointed this person. And it may
(37:19):
not even be your season either, yea, it may not
even be your season. Two To even speak out of
pocket like that. A lot of times we're just called
to prey. Even if you see something being said from
your leader. The leader is not perfect, Okay, let's just
(37:40):
say that. But your job, if you're sitting under your
leader who God has appointed you according to the Fujus four,
you're supposed to pray for that man or woman God
to get that revelation. And then I guarantee he will
get that correction that he needs to correct whatever how
correct whatever that was said, that may not be out
of order. The way that things are going on now,
(38:03):
people are just attacking, calling, calling you know, oh, this
person is as a heretic, there's a false prophet, not
even knowing what you're saying. Do you even know what
it means to call someone a false prophet? Do you
even know what it means across somebody in a warlike
are you just saying because that's what you're hearing? We
really need to help me, Help me, Holy Spirit, understand
(38:27):
exactly what it is that we're saying, and stop taking
what we're hearing and then just repeating it and not
having any knowledge or understanding on why we're saying what
we're saying, because now we're involving ourselves and we're being
a worker of iniquity, and we're working against the very
thing that God is trying to do in the earth
because you're not understanding the move of God, because you're
not submitting yourself to a spiritual leader to help you.
(38:50):
Thank you, Holy Spirit, and now you're going against something
this God. God is a pointing a woman to pastor
are you coming against the gender? You get everything else
that to distracts you from your growth because you wondering
why this woman is in the pulpit not a man.
(39:11):
What I remember is the Baba says that God is
no respector of a person.
Speaker 3 (39:15):
Yep, favorite fair, neither God can.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
Use a man, a woman, a child, whomsoever will whomsoever says,
I will send me Lord. I thought that's what the
scripture said. I mean here, I am send me.
Speaker 4 (39:30):
Hm. I mean right now, was sitting up here listening
to you break down the scripture of break it down
and talk about it? And what if you what if
you couldn't be a pastor and you never became a
pastor because of old religious thinking, and then you wouldn't
(39:51):
be able to speak the word now, you wouldn't be
able to preach the word as you're preaching it now
that you know, don't limit yourself. You guys are limiting
yourself when you say that. You know, all a woman
can't past her or or all women's not supposed to
wear dresses of jeans, or you know you're not supposed
(40:15):
to have ear rings in your ear. You're not supposed
to be adoring. Come on, that that that that's some
old religious so retro you got, you got, you gotta
get up with the times. You gotta get up at
the times because you're gonna miss a lot. You gotta
miss a lot.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
Yeah, that's what happened back in the day. And every
time God was looking to do something new, every move
of God that was what that was new or unortho
or wasn't according to uh the law, it was attacked.
So we have to understand that, you know, Satan wouldn't
(40:54):
be so hard on attacking something that is of God
if it wasn't important. Okay, why go after it? If
it's not that important? Why stay there so much? If
it wasn't important facts, if it wasn't influential, if it
wasn't powerful, it wasn't effective, it wasn't efficient, if it
wasn't making change. If it wasn't why why still try
(41:17):
so hard? Why so stuck on trying to discredit it?
Verse fifteen that we're coming from efusions for y'all, we're
talking about leadership. We're talking about the Poe being called
to the fourfold ministry, apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor teacher. Verse
fifteen says, instead speaking the truth in love. Okay. So
(41:38):
he doesn't want us to be infants tossed back and forth.
This is why we have leaders. Y'all. Right, we can
be blown here and there. I've been there. We've all
been there, okay, by cunning and craftiness of people in
their deceitful schemes. Not just leaders, but even Christians. You know,
he wants us to be wise, walking wisdom and be
able to discern, like if somebody's saying something that you know,
(42:01):
like that's not right, you should be able to have
the boldness to correct them, speak the truth and love right.
You can speak the truth and love right. It says
in doing so, we will grow to become in every
respect the mature body of him who is ahead, that
is Christ. So this is going to require all of us. Okay,
we have the leaders who are appointed, and then we
(42:22):
also as the sheep, have our responsibility as well to
speak the truth and love. If you see your brother
and sister doing something, and you know, my husband's very
good at that, you know, we're supposed to correct each
other and love them. There's a way to do it.
And if you have a pastor, they should be able
to show you and the Holy Spirit can show you too.
No one's saying that, no one's trying to take away
(42:44):
from your personal listen. I think that us having leadership
is just even more of a blessing. We have the
benefit of having our own personal relationship with Christ and
then God gives us leadership. Okay, it doesn't mean that
you're supposed to make your leader your God either. There
is a balance to that. You know, there is a
(43:06):
balance as a whole other teaching, but there is a
way to have balance with your own personal relationship. There
is a season in time where I do believe you
should be underneath your leader like a babe. You know
what I'm saying. But it shouldn't be always. There should
be some time when Okay, now you know you gotta
you know, standing on two feet. Now go to God
(43:26):
on your own. You know, know how to get a
prayer through on your own. There is a time where
we all go through this, babe process. We're infants when
we come into the body. It's called discipleship. We're there
to disciple one another. As the leader disciples you you
go and take that. You get somebody, you disciple them
to under the right doctrine Okay, we're no longer under
(43:50):
the law of Moses. That's been obsolete. That's in scripture.
The law has been obsolete. What does obsolete mean? It's
been done away with. When Christ he did away with
the law. Now that's where a lot of the confusion
comes in because a lot a lot of us as
believers are still under that law. Now, listen, if you
want under the law and whatever, if that suits you,
(44:12):
they're fine. But to me, I want to live under
something that's better. And when Christ came, he brought something
that was better. He brought something that was better. Holland Lewis,
was better, better than the old law. Nobody could live
in the law Moses. Nobody keep them tens of commandments.
Everything under the law was sacrifice. This we wouldn't be
(44:34):
able to I'm reading the old time it was like law.
Do you know how many times God people were dropping
dead because of sin and all? Sweet Oh man, he
came to bring Jesus. Christ came to bring a better
covenant man. And we now are learning to live under
(44:55):
that new covenant. And it doesn't mean that we forget
about the old law. Oh, it's there to learn from,
but we don't live under that anymore. And once we
start there, we I believe can fulfill what it's called
Verse thirteen until we all reach the unity in the faith.
We need to be unified. Right now, we're dividing. Guess
what saves having to feel day because we're up there
(45:16):
being petty about who in a pulpit while he's he's stealing, killing,
and destroying you up here. You know, there are souls
that need to be saved, people that need to be healing,
de living you up there talking about Wow, why she
in the pool pit, why she preaching? Or why? No,
it's deception, beloved brother, my brother, my sister, whomever. Don't
be deceived. Don't allow yourself to be deceived. Yes, okay,
(45:42):
don't be deceived. Don't be distracted. You know, even with politics,
don't allow yourself to get distracted with that neither. We
are called to pray whomever. And you know what, truthfully,
the president is not your president. That's what we always say.
Jesus should be your president. God, you, Heavenly Father, You're
in a different system anyway, You in the Kingdom of
God God, so you should be getting in emotions anyway
(46:02):
with whatever is going on. You see it. You know
what the scripture says, you know what the biblical values are,
and then you pray for those things to align. The
Kingdom of God controls every spiritual, every system. Actually, your
authority is in the kingdom, and if you know your authority,
you know that authority can reach politics and change government. Ludu,
(46:27):
whoever's in office, it doesn't matter. We're still called to
pray and we are still according to scripture, where God
has put whomever that's what the scripture says. God put
whomever is going to win. God put them there. He
put them there, and we are supposed to abide by
all authority because He put them there, and we're supposed
to pray that they have the wisdom, knowledge and discernment
(46:51):
and understand and God can still work through. So actually,
we shouldn't even be arguing about republican and democrat because
we're acting like me or men now, as a scripture say,
as we're in our flesh, because we're getting distracted. Now
we're worried about earthly things.
Speaker 3 (47:06):
Now.
Speaker 2 (47:06):
Now I'm not saying you can't have your own opinion
or what have you, or your preferences or what have you.
But that's not the main. That's that's not Those are
the little those are the mere little issues. It's not
the main, that's not the big picture. Shouldn't be. Boba says,
to set your affections on things that are above right. Kingdom,
(47:29):
your kingdom. You're in a different kingdom now, okay. And
you when you understand that, you'll see things so much
differently in politics, in every fastive industry. You won't even
be moved. You won't even get allow yourself to get
caught up in all these arguments.
Speaker 4 (47:46):
Yeah, I look that tight. Hm, No, no, it's wow.
It's the end of the show man. Oh my gosh. Wow, guys,
my wife don't want in so much now, that's the
end of the show.
Speaker 2 (48:04):
That's all.
Speaker 4 (48:05):
We gotta, we gotta, we gotta, we gotta hit this
back next week. We apologize. Glory to God, Glove to God. Listen,
it's time to get Christ in your life. If you
want Christ in your life, you can repeat after me.
Speaker 3 (48:25):
Let's go Heavenly Father, Holy Father. I'm a sinner. I'm
a sinner, and I don't want to send anymore.
Speaker 2 (48:33):
I don't want to send it anymore.
Speaker 4 (48:35):
I know I know that Jesus that Jesus, sacrifice his life,
sacrifice his life on the cross, on the cross for me,
for me, for my iniquities, of my iniquity, for my infirmities,
and for my injuries, for my injury, and for my guilt,
for my guilt. I want him to come into my
life right now.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
I want him to come into my life right now.
Speaker 4 (48:55):
To shape me, to shape me, hold me, hold me
and mold me, mold me to what you got into
what you got, want me to be. Want me to do,
which means, which means I make one hundred and return,
I make one hundred and return to do God, to
do God what you want me to do, what you
want me to do, in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2 (49:15):
In the name of Jesus.
Speaker 4 (49:16):
Amen, Amen, hallelujah.
Speaker 3 (49:19):
You took the plunge up. You did it. Hallelujah.
Speaker 2 (49:21):
The Bible says that thou Hallelujah.

Are rejoicing. Yes, you did it, hallelujah.
