Who wins Hobbs Wins power House, the Big Hobbs, he says,
addicted to the pod. I've been a listener since the
pods inception. I just turned forty, and I love that
my friends and I weren't the only seventeen year old
with fig vets. I recently fell into the rabbit hole
(01:46):
of the YouTube channel, and I'm addicted to the point
where my girlfriend is tired of hearing all of your voices.
Keep up the great work, and thank you all for
the content and nostalgia that you've brought back into my life.

for a full year.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
I bet there's gonna be some psychos out there who
who restart today.
Speaker 6 (02:53):
And to try to get three hundred and sixty five.
Speaker 5 (02:55):
Yeah, but then you'll be fifty two episodes behind.
Speaker 6 (02:57):
Well, when they get to that four hour episode, they're
gonna be like, oh my gosh.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
Yeah, what happened at Comic Con five? Jesus Christ? All right, guys.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
The giveaway courtesy of Ringside Collectibles. Find the pinpost on
x repost to be eligible. Last week the prize was
the Sandman who will be at the Big.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
As Extreme Bash? Who won? Yow? Who won? The Sandman?
Speaker 6 (03:20):
The winner there is Seinfeld, no age, mister Antonio twenty one,
pretty great.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
And this week the prize is going to be I'm
the Bookieyman and I'm coming getcha the figure that Brian
did not want to exist. It's the Boogeyman from Little
Extremes Spots. I saw who Baby's been? All right, guys,
some follow up. I had a stacked weekend this week.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
First, I went to Big Time Wrestling Newark, California. I
wrestled Q t. Marshall, the new Big Time Wrestling told
me a pole match. It was a Cody on the
poll match. It was for the new strizzapp. But guys,
I was screwed. It was the Big Time Wrestling screw
job because a green haired bitch ran in. Let's show
(04:11):
the footage, all right, low Blow hits me with the
low bro from behind her bride.
Speaker 5 (04:18):
Low Blow.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
Sorry, of course the referee got knocked out. I'm waving
for a new ref. She comes from behind low Blow,
and then she sees the strap, the Internet Championship, the
most recognized symbol of excellence and pro wrestling. She takes it,
She picks it up, She shows me the indie god
on her cast, nails me with the title. And if
that wasn't enough, she stole the title. She stole my championship.
(04:44):
The green haired bitch stole my championship. As a matter
of fact, you know, I put out uh missing person's flyers.
You know I'm looking for this championship, Missling property. If
you know where it is, call the law officers smart
Mark Sterling at one three four seven Smart forty.
Speaker 6 (05:01):
I've gotten a lot of phone calls about this. No
tips that led to the whereabouts of the title.
Speaker 5 (05:08):
However, well, it turns out, Broski, my main question has
nothing to do with any of this. Yeah, how jacked?
Was q T Marshall that you kept your shirt on
for the match?
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Well, Brian, this was my brand new merch table and
whatnot exclusive and I wanted to sell it the first ever.
So it was a marketing strategy. Marketing strategy, although look
pretty jack nowadays. But you know, SHATSI sold the title.
She even was flying with it middle seat coach discussing
(05:37):
that confirmed. That's confirmed. So I will somehow, some way
get that title back.
Speaker 6 (05:43):
But then I thought you were done with her after
we convincingly beat her in New Jersey.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
I guess not. I thought so too.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
I thought so too. Apparently not. But I am the
real Indie god. So I had another booking on the
East Coast Red Eye flight. I went, first time ever IWC.
First of all, they named the show actter me always
ready took on Duke Davis. Listen, I'll be honest never
never you know, heard much about this guy.
Speaker 6 (06:09):
Bro I was impressed, very big man.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
I don't know if this guy is seven feet tall.
He's damn near seven feet tall.
Speaker 5 (06:17):
Beat me.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Obviously there was some shenanigans at the end, some collusion,
but I will give credit where credit is due. Standing
across the ring from this guy, I was like, holy shit,
I guarantee you will see this guy.
Speaker 5 (06:33):
Somewhere somewhere big in the near future.
Speaker 6 (06:36):
Hey makes a good point, So I guess all Internet
Champions fly Coach Cardona oh.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
Rock with come on. But i w C.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
I told him I'll go back because I say this
all the time that I always try at the merch
table to beat my pay right and like I did
it at i WC, So bring me back. I know
it's not quite Pittsburgh's hour away, but bring me back.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
Yeah, I always thought that was Pittsburg. I guess it
is an hour outside of.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
An hour outside. But I was so impressed with the show,
like they were doing live backstage interviews that played to
the house.
Speaker 5 (07:12):
Oh cool, Like I don't think I've ever seen that
a long time. I've never worked for them, but they've
been around a long time. I think that was like
Corey Graves home promotion.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Really Yeah, well, I'll definitely be back if the merch
line is that long.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
What do you guys do it? You guys to have
some bookings. I had an incredible weekend and a system
loaded weekend in Maine. Just grateful, man, what a great
time to you know, be on these awesome shows with
your friends.
Speaker 6 (07:38):
And two thousand people independent.
Speaker 5 (07:41):
Two thousand people's show, the Hardys with the Hardies and
the Hardys, the System and Tommy Dreamer. We all, it's
just like that wouldn't have worked for me. You know.
It's just I know you don't have any friends. So
it's just like, was a grown man. I don't split roubs.
You don't want to be uh wall to wall with
Tommy Dreamer and here I'd rather not. I've shared somers
(08:03):
of Tommy Dreamer my day. No, it was wonderful, man.
I'm just like, I'm feeling incredibly grateful. You know, I
got to like wrestle with my friends, spend time with
them all weekend long. Eddie Lish, Tommy Dango, you know,
we went to the mall together, we did a vlog together,
two shows, H E w WA the next day and
UH on Sunday, which was the fed from MTV True Life.
(08:26):
Dango's explained to me all this Tony Atlas and stuff.
So a lot of wrestling history celophone Celopo celophone. Tony
was on The Limitless Show.
Speaker 6 (08:36):
No wait, who who is the promoter? Was it Doc
Harris here?
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Now?
Speaker 6 (08:40):
No, because that promotion twenty eight times? Got it?
Speaker 5 (08:44):
Okay? Okay, Yeah, it was just just great. I met
a lot of fans that, you know, people wearing major
pod merch, a lot of people wearing Brian Myers merch.
It was just very just a wonderful weekend man, very flat,
a very grateful. You know, it's just super great.
Speaker 6 (08:59):
Well, the other thing about that The Limitless Show is
they have great people on the show. Obviously you guys,
hardies and whatever, but they also was there, won the
title back I Gotta come.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
Back has like a superstar entrance. I agree.
Speaker 6 (09:15):
Yes, Rosky yelled at him because he's got this crazy
dance history and nobody knows because he doesn't post about it.
Speaker 5 (09:23):
And I don't think he still has, so he didn't
listen to my advice.
Speaker 6 (09:26):
He was he was in the Jabbawaukee.
Speaker 5 (09:28):
I know, it's unreal.
Speaker 6 (09:29):
Damn, you didn't know that because he doesn't post about it.
I know, you gotta post that you were in the
Jabbawaukes every two days. But they did such a good
job building up their own people.
Speaker 5 (09:42):
You know. It was like a sick tournament that went
on with their homegrown guys.
Speaker 6 (09:47):
Road Warrior pop for Gabby right, Yes.
Speaker 5 (09:49):
Actually the fuck I hate to say this, and he's
probably just sitting right now thinking about Dreamer got a
monster me Eddie and Dangle. Looksh shit, we're gonna be
hearing about this for days. Uh.
Speaker 6 (10:04):
Well, aw was in Roanoke, but we had a surprise
fortieth birthday party for Tony Nice on the friday. We
all flew down to Orlando and surprised him in his house.
Speaker 5 (10:15):
That's awesome.
Speaker 6 (10:16):
And then we and then we all flew together to Ronoke.
But uh, garage beer flowing at the Tony Knese party.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
Huge hit, of course, like huge hit.
Speaker 6 (10:28):
Everybody just putting over the garage beer, wonderful ninety five calories.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
These wrestlers are saying, yeah, exactly, m Tony knicks Man,
he's a day one guy. Buskin. I've known pretty much.
I didn't know he was forty. He's all right, he
looks exactly the same.
Speaker 6 (10:45):
Ye getting a little grays in the beard, though, I
kind of I don't.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
Think he looks exactly the same at all. But in
a good way. I think he was always jacked and
ripped but skinny. Now he's like big muscular.
Speaker 5 (10:58):
Yeah, but he had that big a musker looked for
the past eight years instead of the twenty two we've bil. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (11:05):
I think he's got to paint the Oh.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
Yeah, the Grays. Who who would ever do that?
Speaker 6 (11:12):
I wouldn't, that's for sure.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
All right, let's get to a figure talk. It's hard
to run toys. They you know, as we know, they
signed Danny Davis. The Danny Davis figures out there. Mine
should be coming any day now. But there was a
whole video of Danny unboxing. When I can play the video,
but a little screenshot here I think is so cool.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
It was great. I watched it. He had like people
there watching him do it and very enthusiastic. It was
like kind of adorable.
Speaker 4 (11:35):
And correct if I'm wrong, the only Danny Davis in
the referee gear figure wise, yes, because both the Classic
and the Mattel are as the.
Speaker 5 (11:45):
Ref are just regular ref outfits. Yes, so very very cool.
And I think we mentioned this at Comic Con. If
we didn't, I'll spoiler it right now. We have him signed,
so we will do this look in a big rubber guy.
Speaker 6 (11:56):
Oh man, that's perfect.
Speaker 5 (11:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (11:58):
So I can't tell you much enough how much he
looks like an eighties like Carney promoter was.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
I was gonna say, an eighties bad guy like in
a movie, like he looks.
Speaker 5 (12:10):
Like like Roberts. He looks like like Silver from Cobra Kai.
Speaker 6 (12:14):
Yeah. Yeah, that that's kind of what I mean. Yeah,
like like a Carney bad guy from the eighties. Yes,
trying to take your money. It's crazy.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
Last week we were talking about l JN posters and
we're talking about were there any other posters for the
re release?
Speaker 5 (12:30):
Is probably like a.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
Major Mark Tyler Lyons posted this. This is an old
image right of a Jake the Snake poster, so we
knew that Jake existed here it is the wrestling Superchiar's
eighty nine Jake the Snake Roberts. We know the Macho exists,
but I've been l j and Stan guy on Instagram.
Speaker 5 (12:48):
He hit me up.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
He said that's it. They didn't like there's no Big
John stud there's no Brutus, so it's just Jake and
my decision. Weird decision. That Macho poster is on my
Holy Grail list, and there's one on eBay right now
for over two thousand dollars.
Speaker 5 (13:07):
Was just insane.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
But also the black Card Macho mint in package is
also on my list, like that's probably right now. People
always ask, what's your your your your holy Grail? Do
you haven't gotten yet? I think it's that the Black
Card Macho that's.
Speaker 5 (13:22):
Just like too much to buy or not even not
even available to buio. And if it was, it would
be too much to buy, you know. I think think
about the poster. It's over to CRAD. What's the mint
on card? Guys rock and Roll Express.
Speaker 4 (13:39):
We know there was a delay. A lot of you
guys should be receiving it any day. Brian has his
right here.
Speaker 5 (13:44):
Let me tell your lost story about a rock and
Roll I love it. You know.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
Ricky and Robert they both texted me privately. I'm not
going to read their text showing their their gratitude for
these figures, but he did Holy yeah, but Ricky did
post something, so I wanted to read what he publicly posted.
Who and when to Sincerely thank Brian, Matt and the
entire major rest of our podcast ting for thinking of
(14:10):
us when nobody else would were honored to have official
rock and Roll Express big rubber guys figures, And they
turned out amazing. To see these in person, and I
know that fans will be adding them to their collections.
It's surreal. This means the world to us. Thank you
for keeping us alive. Like, think about it, guys, As
crazy as this may sound, this is the first ever
(14:33):
correct rock and Roll Express figures ever because Jacks did
make a set with the opposite hair colors and they
never fixed it.
Speaker 5 (14:40):
They never corrected him. And even if that set is
like kind of gone ridiculously rare right at this point.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
So I'm honored that we technically made the first rock
and Roll Express figures.
Speaker 5 (14:53):
They're sweating too many that messed with them right before
we started recording them. Like these are big rubber guys
like eighties wrestlers, you know that are mystic pieces, you know,
potentially the like a collection. Yes, pretty cool.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
And I think these are gonna be ones. I think
this is the first set that we've done in a
while that we'll have some strong secondary market value because
you know, places like Ringside didn't get these, you know
what I'm saying, So you had to order from us.
To get them, and it was so long ago that
I think people go, oh, I want to buy these, Well,
you can't, right unless you buy them on the secondary market.
(15:29):
So I'm interested to see what happens. And these are
i think all home run figures. We talked about the
bad news Allen with the rat so I still haven't
gotten these yet, so I'm excited to get those in hand.
Speaker 5 (15:41):
H Jacob fat too. He was on the Breakfast Club
radio show Let's just let's just play the clip. I
got an action figure coming into Walmart.
Speaker 6 (15:50):
Yes, oh, man, and that was so you.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
Were San Diego comic content that you presented the figures.
But you used to work at Walmart too?
Speaker 1 (15:56):
Oh hell yeah, man, Man, I used to do all jobs. Man,
I used to work over not at low Man. Man,
I was the best stocker at Walmart.
Speaker 5 (16:02):
Girl.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
You go down my aisle, girl, they canna touch me
down there. So but man, it's mind blowing.
Speaker 5 (16:07):
Man.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
It's bless you to have my own action figure, you know,
coming from Sacramento County jail to man to having my
action figure up in there. And I'm happy that my
kids are old enough, you know, to where they're able
to see this. You know, because man, my kids have
been through the whole ground with me, you know what
I mean, Like, man, they don't be in and out
through the pandemic, through everything my career. Man has been
(16:28):
so awesome, so blessed man, so awesome to where I
am able to be in the video game I am
now when they're selling the SmackDown Wrestling Ring, it's coming
with one action figure and that action figure is me
up in there.
Speaker 6 (16:41):
Wow, that's cool.
Speaker 5 (16:43):
I love that. What a cool dude. Yeah, I caught
this clip this week. He's just he's always been been
the coolest, even like the I don't know the first
time you met him, but I think the first time
I met him was at GCW and he stopped us
and told us how much he loved like our stuff
and the super Gabby just yeah, just a humble ass dude.
It so.
Speaker 6 (17:03):
Sorry I interrupted.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
Yeah, I'm super happy for him. You know, we worked
a couple of times and I knew it was I
think everyone knew was just a matter of time for
him to get signed somewhere big and he is just
a star. And you can just hear in that clip
so authentic, right, He's the real deal. So the sky
is the limpic for him, I think, And and he's
right like the SmackDown ring with him.
Speaker 5 (17:24):
You know that's a big deal. And like you said,
from working at Walmart stocking the shelves to being the
guy in the shelves, I love something to be proud
of for sure.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
Yes, our buddies Dan Housen and see Him Punk. They
just by chance strolled into Yester Toys. Our friend Randy
from neck to store, Jersey. Oh cool, there's a you know,
we have a blog up there on the channel, Me
and Knet going there. Randy has a nice little store Jersey.
But they just randomly strolled in.
Speaker 6 (17:54):
Who's the guy?
Speaker 5 (17:55):
They made their purchases there. They made their purchases there.
Yester Toys. I Yester Toys, good little store.
Speaker 6 (18:01):
I got a little blog there if you want to
see it. Matt went to the store.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
Yeah, me and Connick when it was it was fun,
really cool place to check that out. Last thing I have.
We're here a few weeks away, guys, the Big Ass
Extreme Bash. Only two more weeks of us plugging this,
but August twenty fourth, the Big Ass Extreme Bash at
Kaloon Raven Samman, Dreamer, Meyer, Sterling, Cardona the podcast. You
(18:25):
get the meet and greet photo op with the ECW
originals in front of the original brick wall.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
Brian's going to pick it up this week. We get
the whole ops guys, we got Kendlesticks world title belts.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
Yes, of course, there's the cosplay contest, the ringside Raffle,
brought to you by Major Garage Beer. Guys, everybody is VIP.
Don't miss out on this. This might be the last
show at Kaloon, and even if it's not, it's gonna
be the big ass extreme bash and stick around.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
Go to NXC heat Wave. Heat Wave, what a perfect
pregame for heat Wave. The night before the war, Raven
is premiering his documentary in Boston. You can make a
hell of a weekend out of this. If you love
wrestling and you love ECW, I mean, so cool, so excited.
I don't. I can pretty much guarantee you this photo
op will never exist again. And I think that's selling
(19:15):
point alone, much less you know the autographs, the live pod,
hanging out, crushing my ties. I mean, it's gonna be
freaking amazing. And Mark, Mark, I'm gonna put you on
the spot here, have you ordered the cards. Actually they're good.
Oh sick.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
So Brian has the pins, Brian has the hats. I
do we have the kendlestick with the belt. I do
you're going to pick up the wall?
Speaker 5 (19:38):
I am doing that. I think I think we're a
good raffles raffle. I think we're gonna be good in
car service on the way up doing nothing.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
Well, I have like the biggest match of my year
of the day before GW Homecoming.
Speaker 5 (19:53):
I'm wishing to carry you through a good one up show. Uh,
you do need to get the finances that is here
to up. Okay, yeah, but they want cash. Come on,
what do you think we'll figure that out?
Speaker 6 (20:10):
You need bank envelopes?
Speaker 5 (20:12):
Bank? Well. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
The night before GCW Homecoming, it was announced Matt Cardona
for Shatzi.
Speaker 5 (20:20):
Check this out.
Speaker 4 (20:21):

five calories, it's the smart beer to drink.
Speaker 5 (21:14):
I'm Brian Lyers, the most professional drink.
Speaker 6 (21:17):
I'm smart, Mark Sterling, and I love beer flavored beer.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
I'm always ready, Matt Clagna and the Major Garage is
always open.
Speaker 6 (21:32):
Last time we partnered with Garage Beer, things got a
little out of hand. But this time we're doing things.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
More professional, classic, more class. These guys, guys, what can't
we enjoy them?
Speaker 6 (21:52):
More polished?
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Good idea.
Speaker 6 (21:56):
It's a crisp, refreshing partnership. Yeah Hilton, integrity on teamwork
and focus.
Speaker 5 (22:19):
Yeah Garage Beer guys. You heard it.
Speaker 4 (22:21):
The Garage Beer Championship will be on the line the
night before GCW homecoming myself for Shatzi. You know I
love championships and I love garage Beer, so I feel
like it's fate for me to win this championship.
Speaker 6 (22:35):
But I also feel it's really embarrassing if you lose
for the podcast. If you lose it, So.
Speaker 5 (22:42):
Are you guys free? Maybe you guys can do some
run in skis. Yeah, not free. All take that car
service together. Absolutely. I wouldn't for the world. I wouldn't
do that. I'm taking my kids to their first concert.
It's a Disney concert and I wouldn't miss that for
the world.
Speaker 6 (22:58):
Okay, it's not that you wouldn't help Matt out for
the world.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
That was equally is.
Speaker 6 (23:05):
But this is also important.
Speaker 5 (23:07):
I want to do list.
Speaker 6 (23:09):
I got you.
Speaker 5 (23:09):
Well, all right, guys, every single week use a hashtag
major garage beer. If we choose your picture of video,
you will get a prize. Who won this week?
Speaker 6 (23:17):
Well, I'll tell you, Matt. Okay, the person that one
is Captain Insano.
Speaker 5 (23:23):
Whoa I'm told Paul I haven't seen him in a while.
Speaker 6 (23:26):
Yeah, Captain Underscore s J C. Crush you know what?
Oh yeah, this is right crushing crosh beer at Polly.
Speaker 4 (23:34):
That's the Polynesian, my favorite Disney hotel. I can spot
that that pool slide a mile away.
Speaker 5 (23:41):
That's he definitely brought that himself. I don't think you
do that. Captain Living on the Edge.
Speaker 4 (23:50):
Absolutely love it all right, guys, this was really really
cool uh nerd Closet Matt Maniacs showing off Road Warriors.
They already did led a nice little repaint of Road Warriors.
I think these figures are fun, really really cool. Great packaging,
all the packaging, at least the first two sets. I
don't know if they're gonna do it for everything came
(24:12):
in its own defender, which I thought that was next
level and innovative. So you can have the major players
versus the road Warriors. Oh yeah, I think that's something
he got to do. Hey, they made a Paul ellering
should they make a smart mark?
Speaker 5 (24:27):
Probably use the same body, Probably use the same body mark,
hit them up. I think they should do it. Title
Run Toys this was really cool. Showed off artwork for Adrian.
I was impressed with this, very cool. It got me
thinking we should try to sign Agent Adonis, the big
rubber guys and not something that had crossed my mind
(24:50):
until I saw this. M I like the of the
deep cuts that TRT is doing. Yeah, I've yet to
receive figures in hand. Honestly, I ordered this.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
I thought I ordered them right, and then I realized,
I'm like checking my email, like, how come I'm not
sending them to me? I realized I did not order
them real luck, so I ordered them. They should be
coming any.
Speaker 5 (25:10):
Day, and then she wrote like a scathing email before
you checked.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
No, but next week I will review them on the show.
Oh I got the scarf. Ooh, I like that a lot,
really really good. So Hastel Toys showing off, guys, I
want to hear your thoughts on this. Brian Boy, Xanna
Claus and bulls bulls Mahony balls Mahony.
Speaker 5 (25:36):
Which I assumed was coming for some reason when we
saw the Santa. Yeah, it's gotta be the same body, right, Yeah,
so that's that makes sense.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
This is fun, Yeah, totally totally fun. Xanna Claus very cool.
Not a figure I ever thought I needed. But it's
so obscure that I might pick up and then you
can't take anything away from the sculpts, like they look good.
Speaker 5 (26:00):
The balls, I think it looks good. Yeah, oh I
haven't seen this yet. Cool. I think he's got to
have a chair accessory though, don't you think like a
generic ball shirt, like you know, obviously not like a
There's gotta be something you can do. Yeah, you wouldn't
just leave it plain black black. You can do something.
But it looks like an all new mold. I feel
(26:21):
like he needs like tats, like Earthquake style. Yeah, it
says almost there, so it doesn't look like it's completely finished,
but pretty cool. It looks good.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
I have no problem with it at all. Junk Shop Dog,
They're still alive.
Speaker 5 (26:36):
Baby.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
They put it on an update saying that the Matt
Cardonas are finally coming we go and there will be
a series five figure with a talent to be announced
also coming at the same time. So so fouby a
surprise drop. Yes, so they're coming back. I think they
have some factory issues. We've talked about the pod. These
guys make some incredible stuff. They stay out of all
(26:59):
the independent toy company bs. They just do their own thing. Unfortunately,
just had some factory issues. Uh, the Matt Cardona is coming,
I should say Mat Cardona's. There's three of them coming,
so all based off my three matches I had in
Japan two years ago. So not exactly timely, but better
(27:19):
better late than never.
Speaker 6 (27:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
So I'm very, very excited for those and they just
make some incredible figures. So I love their their it's
a very niche fun line. Yes, I agree. Uh FTC
still in the toy business.
Speaker 7 (27:36):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (27:36):
They showed up a couple of things this week. They
showed up some of these things. This one. What does
this go to?
Speaker 4 (27:41):
So if you go to their website, they make their
own rings, they make their own accessories. So it's it's
the cage for their ring. It looks good. Yeah, looks good.
Speaker 5 (27:52):
Their ring looks I mean that looks awesome. Yeah, it
looks great.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
Classic ring now available, not included. So man like, there's
no current way to get a Mattel ring like this.
It was only in that uh, that Mattel Creations thing,
right right.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
I wonder if that, if it's the same dimensions in
this fits you know what, that's very interesting. Does anybody
know in the chat? I bet it is.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
If it's the same dimensions close enough. That's Brian, I
think you might have convinced me on something experiment that
looks awesome. Uh, this is a little suspect to me.
Ultimate talking wrestling ring announcer with Mexican masks.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
I love this. I love it too, But wait, why
do you love this just because it's so random and fun?
Who cares? Now you don't think it's like kind of
ripping off Excalibur.
Speaker 6 (28:44):
So that's what I thought originally, Like, it's right, it's
an announcer, like it's the words are like coming to
the ring or whatever it is.
Speaker 5 (28:53):
It's not a commentator.
Speaker 6 (28:54):
It's not a commentator. So then I'm like, are there
are there announcers in Mexico with masks?
Speaker 5 (29:00):
I don't know about that either.
Speaker 6 (29:03):
Where's Roy Lucire when you need Yeah? Yeah, one fault
Caliber does not say that.
Speaker 5 (29:09):
Yeah. Yeah, this is like this is make believe but
it's fun. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
And then guys, they showed off the ultimate talking President Trump.
Speaker 5 (29:19):
Yeah, they on Earth Listen. It looks pretty good. Hands.
You can use that that podium for like the famous
d X promo. That was like one of the first
things I thought of.
Speaker 6 (29:32):
Heck, people are saying the greatest figure of all time.
People are saying.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
Include Swapple, hands, head scope, and podium. So I guess,
I guess legally you can make Trump if.
Speaker 5 (29:46):
You're an active president or something. You're someone told us
that your rights are like non existent. Firstly, right. That's
why you see Trump like Trump Merchant everywhere. It's like
he's not getting money from that. It's just people cap Yeah.
Speaker 6 (30:02):
One of that one of the ears. You should have
been able to switch the head.
Speaker 5 (30:05):
With nine different sayings.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
So would they have like a phenomenal Hey, guys, I
I can't believe I'm saying it, but it's true. I
mean he is like a w W Hall of Famer,
like you could use this with like Bobby Lashley Umaga.
Like it's not like he doesn't fit in your wrestling collections.
Speaker 5 (30:25):
I love him or hate him the worst punches ever.
Speaker 6 (30:28):
Oh my god, you're right.
Speaker 4 (30:29):
Like this is technically you know, in the wrestling universe.
That's why we're bringing it up here, you know. So
there it is. Get stunnered.
Speaker 5 (30:42):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (30:43):
So that's that pro wrestling tease. Micro browlers a little
Mark Brisco action. Only five hundred available Mark Brisco looking good.
That them boys.
Speaker 5 (30:54):
I'll probably sell out, I would assume probably will sell
out if it hasn't sold out already. Guys, let's talk
about this.
Speaker 4 (31:01):
This these unreleased photo surface of the Jazzwars LJN figures.
Speaker 5 (31:06):
Check this out. I saw this. I was like whoa.
Speaker 4 (31:09):
Yeah, so there's Jericho, Phoenix, Lucosaurus Penta, And I don't
mean to be me, but I'm kind of glad he's
not that I guy had the same thought, like ye.
Speaker 5 (31:22):
Like, I don't know whoever was Yeah, wasn't feeling the vibe,
you know. Yeah, and like three three of them have
like the same pose but also clearly back that We've
talked about this so many times and I feel like
an asshole. We can bring it up. LJN's are bigger
(31:44):
than six inch Jazzars figures, but they're in the same cases,
so they have to like they're bending their knees like
Andre ljns even though they're regular sized guys. Yeah, it stinks. Yeah,
I'm just kind of glad this didn't take off. I'm
also glad because we you know, we took over the
lj and style for AW with our big rubber guys, which,
(32:05):
by the way, the pre order is over. We thank
everybody who ordered.
Speaker 4 (32:09):
Very successful first launch, and I'm excited for you know,
the possibilities because there's two big ae W pay per
views coming up for Bidden Door all out. If something
major happens, you know, a figure's coming guys, like, that's
that's why ae W side with us, because we're able
to do those those those elite moments asap. So i'd
(32:34):
expect there to be a pre order, if not from
Forbidden Door. Definitely all out, like I mean, like something's
gotta happen. Those are two huge pay per views. Yeah, so, Mark,
if you have any spoilers, let us know. We can
set the design process early.
Speaker 6 (32:48):
I'll try to find out. Yeah, yeah, although I did,
I do like the idea of you improving this Jericho,
you know.
Speaker 5 (32:55):
I definitely want to do an LJ in Jericho and then.
Speaker 6 (32:57):
Do it, you know, and then it's like the unreleased.
Speaker 5 (33:00):
Also crazy that three out of five of those guys
are not even there anymore.
Speaker 6 (33:04):
Yea, and Lucasaurus is not lucas anymore.
Speaker 4 (33:08):
Tale Switch Foco showed off their magazine collection Ultimate Warrior.
Did not love this hmm.
Speaker 5 (33:17):
I mean I never usually do whatever.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
I usually do love them, this one I didn't. I
don't think the likeness is great. The title is very
odd to me. I don't know what that title is
supposed to be.
Speaker 5 (33:30):
Title looks sweet, Not quite sure what that is. But
they're out of one hundred, right, Yeah, so whatever, they'll
sell out, and I think I think.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
They will, so our boy herman he he he showed
this off. I believe first Walmart has a new collectors area.
This spark your collection retail displays at Walmart, Like, okay,
this is like hello, adult collectors, come over here please.
Has all the figures like on display, like almost like
(34:00):
comic con style on the top, and then you buy them.
Speaker 5 (34:02):
Underneath old school toys or US style. I love it.
Speaker 6 (34:06):
Yeah, it's pretty cool.
Speaker 5 (34:07):
I absolutely love this. This is really cool. Look at
that Marvel set up. Crazy to me. I dig this
literally like old school toys r US like kind of rebranded. Yeah,
I had all this stuff. Look at those Star Wars
there's WWE so at first I thought it was justin Mattel,
but it's everything.
Speaker 6 (34:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (34:28):
Wow, it's everything mixed together.
Speaker 6 (34:30):
Sounds like, uh, Walmart is is thinking about the fact
that they're the only toy distributors out there.
Speaker 5 (34:38):
You know, well this target as well, this Target.
Speaker 6 (34:40):
Yeah right, but they're trying to Yeah, they got to
put some on it.
Speaker 4 (34:44):
If only their fucking website pre order system would work.
Speaker 5 (34:47):
Dude, I go, man, what a weird not the waste timeless,
but my first time period I got all those ones
that were canceled, then stuff like just kept showing up. Mmmm,
so weird hells on display right there.
Speaker 6 (35:01):
Also, we posted a little clip of our discussion about
Walmart pre orders on Twitter and there were so many responses.
It was basically like do you ever pre order from Walmart?
And we got more responses to that than we have
a long.
Speaker 5 (35:14):
Time Yeah, massacre of horror stories though, yeah right, Well,
you know Target also has WW collectible especially like Legends,
and they're going to get this three pack.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
We knew it was coming, but the pictures have leaked there.
It is baby Bash at the Beach. Hulk st is
to me absolute fronter. The whole three pack absolute fronter.
I will say this, this really makes me question though
some of my hauls and nashes on display.
Speaker 5 (35:46):
I know, I just went through so many halls and ashes.
Speaker 4 (35:50):
Or is this like a standalone like you know what
I'm saying, because I don't know if i'd want to
cut the Ultimate Hall and I love.
Speaker 5 (35:58):
Those Ultimate and the Hall has the call hands. I'm
never that's a key.
Speaker 4 (36:01):
Yeah, but I think you got it. This is the
most iconic moment in pro wrestling. How do you not
have this on display? As is?
Speaker 5 (36:07):
Personally, I like things that are more evergreen than like
the moments. Okay, you know so like I love those outsiders.
So you won't be getting this or displaying it I
don't know, or getting it and keeping just Hulk or
something I don't know. That's that's a miscatch of justice
right there.
Speaker 6 (36:23):
You need this, And my thought is either that I'm
gonna definitely get it to keep the Hulk, but I
think that and this is what I kind of justify
in my head. I have an nWo display, yeah, but
I have a w CW display, and I think this
goes in the w CW display.
Speaker 5 (36:41):
That's fair because the technically this is before they when
they form drops the name in this promo.
Speaker 6 (36:47):
Right, but it's the red gear. You put it right
in the front of the w CW display with the
popcorn in the and the thing.
Speaker 4 (36:54):
I'm gonna put Yeah, I'm gonna display it. And I
also have the old school Walmart Bash of the Beach.
You know, this was supposed to come out years ago
at Walmart in the then now forever.
Speaker 6 (37:05):
Right, And I need to get that that now. I
need to get that too.
Speaker 5 (37:08):
That thing I don't have it. That thing's going up
in value as it is, and it's gonna go up.
It's gonna go up. Yeah. I think this is awesome.
Speaker 4 (37:15):
I think this is an absolute fronter this honestly, depending
on how they pack it out, might be keep it
minten box for me, you know, because they've been doing
cool things with the displays. They're not just standing there
with their arms down in the packaging. Depending on how
they pack it out, it might be a mint a
box for me.
Speaker 6 (37:36):
Right one hundred and fifty bucks on eBay right now?
Speaker 5 (37:38):
Is that that's not bad.
Speaker 6 (37:40):
There's actually a bunch of them for one hundred and
forty and fifty.
Speaker 5 (37:44):
I'd snag that because that's going to go up when
this come out. Find a banged up one because they're
gonna open it the cheapest ones, right uh.
Speaker 4 (37:51):
And I will talk about major because this is news
available this week. The pre order guys, the Nasty Boys,
Big Rubber Guys, SAgs.
Speaker 5 (38:06):
Knobs, Pitty by the Nasty Boys, and you can take
them to Pitty City. You can take right there, look
at that pit right there, Pitty City, Baby, The Nasty Boys,
Super Toyota got the chains around the boots.
Speaker 6 (38:20):
Is it scratching sniff when you scratch the armpited.
Speaker 5 (38:23):
It's not just like, it's not the nasty boys, and
it's not just the nasties.
Speaker 4 (38:28):
It is you fans voted for this. You fans voted
for this. It is Paul eller Ring, which looks fantastic.
And this goes perfect with those l D style figures
that available right now Big Bad Toy Store. I do
want an older version of Paul eventually, but with the
(38:50):
current LD figure still available, we felt that this made
the most sense.
Speaker 5 (38:54):
Newspaper accessory comes out of his hand, it's not stuck
in there. Yeah. So very like you said, fan voted
with some heavy hitters and Paul Ellering won. So yes,
pretty cool. Yeah. I would like to add some sort
of fan voted sticker or something on this. I don't
know if that's necessary, but I don't know.
Speaker 6 (39:11):
I kinda they do that with it. I kind of
like that too.
Speaker 4 (39:14):
Yeah, I want the people to know the fans voted
for this, so we'll figure that out. But SAgs knobs
Paul Ellering. But look, guys, and look, we extended that
this is gonna be We're gonna give people's wallets a
little break here, so we extended the pre order on
this so it will be about a month and a half,

those tats, dear. They put a little gray in his beard.

Hello, hey guys, what's up? Hello?
Speaker 6 (47:11):
Hey pal?
Speaker 7 (47:13):
Yeah, and the brand new CM Punk Contemporary CM Punk
has more grain the beard.
Speaker 5 (47:18):
I think, uh, gray beard treatment.
Speaker 7 (47:21):
Yeah, two brand new portraits with him smaller kN pads.
Speaker 5 (47:25):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (47:26):
I think that these are the same size pads.
Speaker 7 (47:28):
As they used for the Ringside CM Punk Ringside Spunk,
same same tree style knee pads, even though they technically
should be a soft Good hoodie.
Speaker 5 (47:37):
This is nice with the strings, they're really cool. But yeah,
not ras come on, well, are you serious?
Speaker 7 (47:48):
Well, it's possible, but obviously that's a lot of money
going into Soft Good.
Speaker 5 (47:51):
Let's go come on. I guess the risk tape kind
of goes back and forth between molded risk tape and not.
But I'll survive with that. What do you mean it
goes back and forth like s on the hands like
these are the flat hands. It doesn't have the bumps
he's got like the c grips have it. They have
the bumps.
Speaker 9 (48:11):
Yeah, it's just it's just for the close fist in
the in the curagette pants.
Speaker 5 (48:14):
And what about on the arm?
Speaker 6 (48:16):
Is it just that one?
Speaker 7 (48:17):
It does have it unlike Yeah, so that's the first
Ultimate Edition one to feature it. I believe those arms
will be uh used for future Elite Collection releases as well.
Speaker 5 (48:27):
Does punk the peace sign? Now why does he come
with these?
Speaker 3 (48:31):
Uh?
Speaker 7 (48:32):
Yeah, it does come with the with the corner fingers.
I think it's just deck of ones from the sign. Yeah,
it's I think maybe it's like the people were saying
it was the thing with the dramacatire Dreamcatyre did the
piece as well, but he has done it before, Yeah,
not regularly to.
Speaker 5 (48:49):
Work very fun, very.
Speaker 9 (48:51):
Include it with them.
Speaker 7 (48:52):
But I think this is because this was from his
match with McIntire. This was the special guest referee with
with Rawlins.
Speaker 5 (48:57):
So some of and like I said, the Quickness Summer
Slam just passed twenty twenty five and this is twenty
twenty four, so.
Speaker 7 (49:04):
Yeah, and he's already getting brand new portraits with the
upcoming Top Picks one because his hair has grown longer.
Speaker 5 (49:10):
I love the drawstring. I love that kind of like
it's a little touch that makes a big difference. I think, yeah, absolutely, yes, yeah,
that's sick.
Speaker 7 (49:19):
So that one also features a brand new it's not
a brand Torso, but they switched him from the previous
I think it was first tooled for first of Belt
for the Ultimate Edition Jeff Hardy. But this one is
the Great Moda Torso. Wow, okay, and the Matel Creations
one also features the Great Mota Torso, but obviously that
doesn't have the chest tattoo, still doesn't have the colored
in flowers. There was only like two releases that they did.
Speaker 5 (49:41):
They don't even want to mess with the leg tatsa.
Speaker 9 (49:45):
No, don't touch the light to it.
Speaker 5 (49:47):
I don't know why they can't just like.
Speaker 9 (49:50):
It's best to just as opposed to.
Speaker 5 (49:52):
Yeah, I would just put like some sort of shape
out the ish shit. I don't know, I feel like
that's fine. What is the pep? Isn't the pepsi and.
Speaker 7 (50:01):
No, they they omitted that, and they same with the
with the Cobra logo on the right shoulder.
Speaker 5 (50:06):
Don't do it huh yeah, where it's blank, I feel.
Speaker 9 (50:11):
Try to make it ish.
Speaker 5 (50:13):
Yeah, jazzers is I think ish is the way to
go personally. Yeah. Could you do like a circle with
like half red half blizz like jazzars had like a
squiggly across.
Speaker 9 (50:22):
You just have to be careful.
Speaker 7 (50:23):
I mean when you're something of that of that big
of a corporation like Mattel, so you just have to
be careful. There's a lot more eyes on you than
a jazz War's then and independent to a company that
no one's really looking over, so you just you never know,
you never know who's out there.
Speaker 5 (50:38):
Just put the godfation.
Speaker 7 (50:40):
No, John Locus Rays did all the tattoo work for that.
He he did update it to where even the rashikage
logo that Punk has on his forearm, he changed that
to where they all have like CM Like the Cobra
logo that John did, it has like a CM like
embedded in it, like it's like almost like a like
an Easter egg. And then same with the rash logo
that one's also like a CM two.
Speaker 6 (51:00):
Okay, so well, continuing with the Mattel's, I got the
last series of Wars.
Speaker 5 (51:07):
By the way, Mackenzie got the Bailey from this set.
It looks incredible. I haven't.
Speaker 7 (51:12):
That one's also got a bunch of brand new tooling
on it too. Yeah, nuts, I think the only existing
ones is like the arms and the feet, so that's
pretty much Bailey was pretty much brand new from head
to toe.
Speaker 9 (51:25):
But yeah, that's I think is a WAGE seven. I
believe Mark.
Speaker 6 (51:29):
Yes, I did not need this, so I will.
Speaker 5 (51:31):
You're getting rid of coach Bloom. But he's the guy
who found caloons for the boys, Lord bro, come on,
that's not true at all. It is. Do you think
Baldo Discovery is a fact.
Speaker 4 (51:45):
That's that's one hundred fact that Baldo is the first
person who started bringing the boys the calouon.
Speaker 5 (51:50):
Dude, Frank told me the Killer Kwaski was going there
in like the seventies.
Speaker 4 (51:54):
Okay, I know from Bald Baldo is the one who
started bringing the ways like after shows.
Speaker 5 (52:01):
That's fact. Ask Candy that's that. And he told me that,
not Bloom. All right, we have to look into that one.
Speaker 6 (52:09):
Yeah, Okay, So here's my questions. I needed the Mura,
needed the trillionaire ted yep.
Speaker 5 (52:16):
Now why you need the King.
Speaker 3 (52:21):
Puppies?
Speaker 5 (52:22):
You need him both. That's the same ship if any Mark,
in my opinion, if anything, you need the puppies King
over like one.
Speaker 9 (52:30):
Is ninety six, which yet pre Attitude era.
Speaker 6 (52:32):
And one you need them both, which one is Attitude
the red right hand. That's like he's a he's a
puppies guy. You need him like six. He takes a
couple of spots.
Speaker 5 (52:45):
You need it both, Mark, Okay.
Speaker 6 (52:46):
I'm not against that anyway. I do like I'm not
like Jones in to get rid of it.
Speaker 2 (52:52):
Now.
Speaker 6 (52:53):
This Hogan is.
Speaker 5 (52:54):
Specifically Nasau Coliseum, running for.
Speaker 6 (52:57):
Preside, running for president. He wore the Yankee hat. Yes,
I remember that so vividly that I do just want
to keep it as.
Speaker 5 (53:06):
I'm so on the fence about it, and I was
there way too rabbit hole for me, like no way, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (53:12):
I voted on the Hollywood Hulk Cogan that year for president,
So I need this.
Speaker 7 (53:20):
People think that the tights aren't accurate Hogan for several instances,
for several appearances across Nitro, and I think even on
thunder he didn't have lightning bowld air rush tights.
Speaker 5 (53:30):
It's definitely accurate. It's just not toy headik. It's definitely accurate.
Speaker 6 (53:34):
Right by the way, I I don't even think I
could vote then, So I'm kidding, right, don't don't kill me.
Speaker 4 (53:39):
It's Hogan's birthday today. It still has not sunk in
that he's no longer with us. Yeah, it's still It
just still rocks me when I see these clips that
were like months ago and he's energetic.
Speaker 5 (53:54):
Is ever tan jacked? Right?
Speaker 6 (53:56):
Selling beer? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (53:57):
Crazy old interview with them, that's let's do on my flight.
It's just sounds crazy.
Speaker 4 (54:04):
And I think we've decided that for a Christmas episode
will be some sort of weather. We can't do every
Hogan figure, no way, but maybe like the fifty best
or our fifty favorite.
Speaker 6 (54:16):
Yeah. I think that's great.
Speaker 5 (54:17):
I think, yes, you need we'll get that list together.
D you will buy some nice AHD photos, yep, but yeah,
thirty sounds like a good number. Oh fifty, come on, Yeah,
it's Christmas in one's Christmas bare minimum? All right?
Speaker 4 (54:32):
So I got something some ringside you guys talked about
last week. So I will just glance them over, but
d you can stick around if you'd like. So I
got the Nash wolf Pack Nash.
Speaker 7 (54:41):
Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that brand new
Legends Nash that comes in the three pack. That one
has a brand new hair piece that's using that existing
portrait that was first used for I think that Ringside
clickable was exclusive, which one that one is a refresh of. Yeah,
but this brand new one, that one has like the
longer hair where like it's kind of like Show Michael styles,
where like it's long, but then he has got the
pony across it, so that one's just the pony.
Speaker 5 (55:02):
So I like this figure a lot. Correct if I'm wrong?
Is this the only wolf Pack era Nash?
Speaker 7 (55:09):
I mean, if you don't consider that this is the brand,
the latest wolf Pack Nash, if you don't consider the
ring Sy Collectibles one, because that one.
Speaker 5 (55:17):
Well, right, the same figure. It's the same figure. Yes.
Speaker 4 (55:21):
Now I'm not talking basics, because I know there are
some base I think there's a basic wolf Pack Nash.
But should should his hair not be blonder?
Speaker 7 (55:30):
I mean technically you can even say that that outsider
because he did wear the gear, that Outsider's gear quite
a bit even through ninety eight as well, like two
years later he was reusing several pairs of gear because
that one has the Elite Collection series sixteen one, that
Kevin Ash one the yellows like yellow hair when they
initially had not the greatest of blonde hair colors at
(55:50):
that point.
Speaker 5 (55:51):
Uh, it was yellow.
Speaker 9 (55:54):
It wasn't yellow yellow.
Speaker 5 (55:56):
But it was. It was. It pulled up on the screen, Maark,
It wasn't a dirty blonde thirty blood bro it's yellow.
Pull that up, bark. Wait what talking about? What elite?
That first Elite dash in the red that's yellow hair.
Speaker 6 (56:08):
Oh, that definitely is.
Speaker 9 (56:09):
Yeah, it's not yellow, but it is a brownish shade
of yellow. It's a brown yellow.
Speaker 5 (56:16):
Okay, Okay, sure, but that's not a wolf pack mash anyway.
Speaker 7 (56:19):
I mean you can technically consider it because he did
wear that gear throughout the ninety eight period when Wolf
Peck was around.
Speaker 5 (56:26):
All Right, So I got the Hall Lone Wolf. This
is definitely.
Speaker 4 (56:29):
First of all, I'm probably keeping the nash. Definitely keeping
the Hall. This is where I want to discuss this, Okay,
So I got the Foley, yeah, which everyone's going nuts. Okay,
So the original ring side, and he's here to clarify this.
Speaker 5 (56:42):
If the original one is Royals, this refresh they pivoted
to Yeah, two thousand, that.
Speaker 7 (56:51):
Wasn't the original From the original EP simple had it
did not have the wrist tape on the on the right, but.
Speaker 5 (56:57):
Now it does have. Yeah, now it does. That makes
it no Way Out.
Speaker 4 (57:00):
And also it says no Way Out on the packet
the copy I love you, robbishing Robert. I don't know
if you wrote the copy. The copy is so incorrect
for this figure. It makes it seem like Cactus Jack
returns at no Way Out like he did Royal Rumble
he was in ninety seven. It makes it seem like
No Way Out was his debut. In fact, it was
his last ever match. Right, So here's my question. Do
(57:22):
I need to keep the Royal Rumble Cactus Jack?
Speaker 5 (57:27):
And this one? I think that's a you thing because
you were there and it's sentimental, right, But man, are
we talking splitting hairs here? And then here's my other question.
How do you not display this with the barb back
you gotta display with yeah, I'm having a baseball?
Speaker 6 (57:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (57:46):
Well, usually I would do the bang bang, but there's
enough other cactus that you can do the Bang.
Speaker 5 (57:50):
Bang, right, but what a great figure. Yeah yeah, I said,
I actually have the same thought, like we have enough
doing the Bang Bang at this point that you gotta
that that accessories. So yeah, it's so yeah, you.
Speaker 9 (58:03):
Got it, and the only way it can be released
is through rings.
Speaker 6 (58:06):
So this.
Speaker 5 (58:07):
I thought the cut on the tack was a little
weird for the flannel. It's like he's doing like a
reverse Brosky cut. I don't know if that's like just
to make it easy to get on and off. Okay,
great figure, but yeah, I'm still on the fence. Do anything.
Speaker 4 (58:22):
I must have, must have, absolute, must have. Great job
breaks side. I love the from the Okay, it's all right,
it's not quite yellow, I was, yeah, but that's.
Speaker 6 (58:34):
It's so much lighter than everynash that's been made.
Speaker 5 (58:36):
That's like a mash up though. That's like the wolfpack
head on a body.
Speaker 6 (58:42):
Yeah right, and I replaced that one he started getting
better nashes.
Speaker 5 (58:46):
Yeah, I don't think I owned that one anymore.
Speaker 6 (58:48):
Yeah, I got rid of it him what night years ago.
Speaker 4 (58:51):
Some other purchases for me, guys. This is not figure
related and not wrestling figure related, but I want to
talk about it. Yes, have some podcasts. They have a
Ghostbusted part because they just released his book, The Real
Ghostbusters of Visual History. You got to check this thing out, guys.
It's everything about real Ghostbusters. It talks about all the
all the figures. If you're a Ghostbuster fan, like, you
(59:12):
absolutely need this thing.
Speaker 5 (59:13):
Like that's the cartoon though, right, it's pretty gooder than
that The Real Ghostbusters.
Speaker 6 (59:17):
I love these books.
Speaker 9 (59:18):
So that licensed?
Speaker 5 (59:20):
Is it licensed? What do you mean is it license?
Speaker 7 (59:23):
Is it is it licensed officially through Ghostbuster Corporation or
what if the company's name is.
Speaker 5 (59:28):
I would have to say, is there not rules about
that when you're making like a book, because everybody.
Speaker 6 (59:34):
Knows you can make a history book about anything.
Speaker 5 (59:37):
Yeah. Yeah, you're just putting pictures all different artworks.
Speaker 4 (59:41):
So if you're a figure guy, a real Ghostbuster fan,
I think you need this by dark Horse Hardcover.
Speaker 6 (59:48):
I love this. I actually think I'm gonna get I
don't have a single one of those, but I think
I'm gonna get it because I kind of have by accident,
a little coffee table collection of books like that.
Speaker 5 (59:57):
Pixel Dan's working on a Turtles one as speak Wow,
his he Man one was so good. Yeah, I got
hit with that fucking book. Gave me a fucking concussions.
Speaker 7 (01:00:07):
Let's need a few staple to work with playmates and
similar to how he worked with Mattel with the certain
certain partners.
Speaker 4 (01:00:15):
Uh, guys, So I've been searching for this thing for
a long time. Finally found it. I spent a lot
of money on this, guys, sealed VHS of the Monster
Squad like this a lot of money. I'm setting this
to get graded. This cost me how many figures would
(01:00:39):
it be? One to over four figures? So over a
thousand bucks not even not even graded. Holy, these don't pop.
Speaker 7 (01:00:50):
Up often and you're positive that's an authentic seal.
Speaker 5 (01:00:53):
That's another thing too. Oh this just got real interesting
is because there's some sort of like printing on it.
Can you see like live home video? You see that?
Speaker 4 (01:01:06):
Oh yeah, that probably makes me believe that it is,
but I'm not sure. And I am new to this
whole VHS thing, Like.
Speaker 7 (01:01:17):
You know, it's what print one was that? Like there's
so many different print runs just like I.
Speaker 5 (01:01:21):
Don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:01:23):
So it says in the back nineteen seven. Oh, there's
also a sticky here exclusively distributed by Live Distributing Ink.
So I do believe this is a real seal, but
we'll find out when I get it graded.
Speaker 5 (01:01:36):
So yeah, very very fun for me to follow along
with that, I'm excited to get that. Anything else for
you guys, that's it for me, guys. Quick little story.
Last week I said, I took my family on vacation.
I know everyone in the figure worlds or wrestling figure
World's been seeing Olie's getting in crazy inventory of WW stuff. Yeah,
(01:01:58):
they have the outsiders from Target and just loaded with
like select locations, Gottel Creation Ultimates, crazy outsiders who were
rings out exclusive? Were they not? Yes, It's like, I
don't know what happened. So last week we went to Connecticut.
I thought it'd be more fun to take the ferry
because my kids had never done it and they would
just think it's cool, and I have listened. I hadn't
(01:02:19):
done in years too, so but there's an one Allie's
in Long Island. It's all the way out in Riverhead,
so I was like, let's stop there on the way there,
because it's also their toy selection is very fun and affordable.
And then my girls loved it and they would. So
I'm bumbling around all this WW stuff and I can't
believe the selection and this wheels just stuck going oh no.
And I get a couple of figures because I'm like,
(01:02:42):
wait a second, I can make a Slam aversary AJ styles.
Oh my god, come on here. So that's the new
AJ yep. And then the Seawan shirt from the summer
Slam sewn yeah, oh shit yeah. And then all I
needed was AJ vest that I got from a figure out, like,
is that the best you wore?
Speaker 9 (01:03:03):
It's similar, No, that's like his twenty seventeen vest.
Speaker 5 (01:03:06):
It's not going to be exactly.
Speaker 6 (01:03:07):
If you're doing a fix up, you don't have to be.
Speaker 5 (01:03:09):
And then the other funny thing is I had the
uh actually grabbed like a Grayson Waller was there just
to have playing hands for him because that AJ comes
to the gloves and then you know he had in
my mind in the ring, I guess AJ does the
hand thing and his hands are open like this. But
at Slam I went back and looked he did a
double point out. Okay, So then by chance I was
(01:03:30):
kind of like putting stuff away and I have like
a lucy bin and accessories for my whatnot pile and
the nick all this build a figure that came with
somebody that I kept had the two pointers, so it
was like craziest figure fate. That's sweet. Yeah. So my
plan now is I think this is going to be
just kind of like a good luck charm for me
(01:03:51):
and hopes that AJ comes back to TNA sometime soon. Okay,
you know, has a match or something anything else. My
last thing I want to shout out Coaches Collectibles, Johnthan Coachman. No,
they did a signing with ped Alonzo. I couldn't attend
it because I was on that. I was just gonna say, yeah,
(01:04:12):
Joel Alonzo's cousin Pete the place of the Mets, who
is at this moment in time the Tide with Dalla
Strawberry for the most home runs and Mets franchise history.
I got my Dragon Imports ped Alonzo figures signed. I
wanted him to write like home Mets Home Run King
or something, but he technically isn't yet. But pretty cool piece,
(01:04:32):
very kind of rare, you know, signing opportunity. So I
couldn't get I couldn't be there to get in person,
but I dropped it off. Coaches collectibles find on on Instagram.
They're always doing awesome signings around New York, New Jersey.
So thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:04:45):
All right, my last thing, this is gonna be very interesting, guys.
So there's gonna be a new segment on Weekly Purchase
unofficial segment because I went. So I flew from Pittsburgh
to West Palm Beach that is where CIS headquarters is.
Speaker 5 (01:05:02):
Because I had to pick up a lot of figures.
So then when did you get a car and then drive? Yeah,
because I don't. I didn't have I have no time
in my schedule to drive on drive. I know, I'm
not mad because you cut one drive out, right, I
cut one drive out, so I have no time to
drive there, do it and come back. So I flew
to West Palm Beach, got a car, went to CIS,
(01:05:23):
picked up two giant FN boxes of graded stuff. Now
I'm not going to it's like almost one hundred graded items.
I'm not going to sit here and go through one hundred.
So what I've decided to do is that every week,
at the end of Weekly Purchases, I will show off
like one or two graded things that I've gotten. Okay,
so I will start with this we talked about a
couple of weeks ago on the show I you know this,
(01:05:45):
I had mailed to me the articulated hogan LJN. Now
I'm showing you this because Brian said, well, what happens
if it's in pieces? And I said, well, the hogan
was intact. My Bundy was the one that was in pieces.
I want to show you that Bundy right now. This
is what it looks like. Huh. So the ones I'm
about to show you, they just look out a way
(01:06:06):
to kind of make it whatever. Yeah, because they're not
gonna make it seem like it's real. Is there? Like?
Now is that sticker it says like King Kung Bundy,
It is all right here? And d helped me with this.
Speaker 4 (01:06:15):
So nineteen eighty seven LGNWF five in series King Kong
Bundy unreleased unpainted prototype. So all these that I'm about
to show you are gonna look kind of blurry. That's
because I kept the seal on for now because I
don't want getting scratched up in moving. So here is
the Bundy I wanted to show you guys that also, guys,
this where this is pretty big.
Speaker 5 (01:06:36):
Guys.
Speaker 4 (01:06:36):
Remember remember these guys, these are the muscle grips, those
LJN Muscle grips, they were on the back of the
LJN Championship, right.
Speaker 5 (01:06:46):
So this is the Hogan right here.
Speaker 6 (01:06:49):
That's awesome.
Speaker 4 (01:06:50):
Nineteen eighty seven LJNWF Wrestling Superstars Muscle Grip Hulk Hogan
unreleased hand painted prototype. I mean this right here now
it looks like what is If someone walks into my room,
he's like, well, what is that? As opposed to just
loose standing there? So you know, it's crazy because I
got a lot of this. It's a much more cleaner
professional look. Absolutely, and undoubtedly the amount of Hogan stuff
(01:07:14):
I got back by chance, it just hits me differently
knowing he's no longer with us, right, you know what
I'm saying. So I got the Hogan and of course
a lot of people don't know that I have all
this stuff. I have the matching Macho Man damn so
graded there and then, honestly, I didn't even know I
had these things until I was I forgot I had
him till I was submitting for grading. I have the
(01:07:34):
unpainted heads to both of them that I got graded.
Speaker 6 (01:07:38):
And you're gonna keep those?
Speaker 5 (01:07:39):
Are? You know? These I'm going to sell.
Speaker 4 (01:07:41):
So I'm gonna sell the unreleased heads to Macho Man
and Hogan, and I think since they're like big, big names,
it will go for a pretty penny.
Speaker 5 (01:07:49):
I will put those. I think I'm gonna put these
on Golden with a bunch of other things I bought.
Speaker 6 (01:07:54):
And the l idea was that you were going to
put some of this stuff on Golden, Right, that's why
you did it.
Speaker 4 (01:07:58):
Yes, that's why. Because I had a bunch of things
I wanted to sell, I hit up Golden. They said,
this is great stuff, but we can't. We can't sell
it unless it's graded and authenticated. So when I did that,
I said, well I might as well grade. And that's
when I had the morbid thought about what if I
die and Chelsea's going through my stuff. That's what I
graded all my prototypes. That's what I get all my prototypes. Now,
I do want to show guys, honestly, I bought into
(01:08:21):
the company, so this is half purchase. I did buy
all this stuff, right, but so I get it's half
an ad too, right, and whatever it is what it is.
But I want to show off the things they can
do at CES so they can think of whatever you
think of, they can do. So this is something I
thought of.
Speaker 6 (01:08:36):
Everybody send this invoice, by the way, well check.
Speaker 5 (01:08:39):
This out Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Check
this out here.
Speaker 4 (01:08:43):
This is an unreleased has We talked about it years
ago on the pod Brutus, the Barbered Beef Cake Mega Maniacs.
Speaker 5 (01:08:49):
Now. Look at this display right here.
Speaker 6 (01:08:53):
I saw this in the picture you sent, and I
thought you just got the backing displayed graded.
Speaker 5 (01:08:58):
But that's the figure with the backing next to it.
That's cool.
Speaker 4 (01:09:03):
You can do whatever you want. You know, you can
design whatever you want. So honestly, I'll be honest, this
isn't such bad shape because a kid was playing with
it that I did not get it graded, but I
got it authenticated. And you know, what's the archived So
it's not great because it would have got like a
twenty probably, you know. So it's still in the case,
(01:09:25):
still archived, like and you know, like the back of
the box here is all there.
Speaker 5 (01:09:29):
So you know you could see everything. You can see
the Brutus right there.
Speaker 6 (01:09:35):
I think I asked this, but what would getting what's
the ballpark of getting like a sign figure graded.
Speaker 4 (01:09:41):
Like a hundred bucks less than that less. So I
mean this right here, when this is on my display case,
it's going to look very very special as opposed to
like why do you keep that figure?
Speaker 5 (01:09:54):
He head as a kid all beat up? Like no, no, no,
this is a unreleased prototype right, it's more like museum
style taking care of it exactly.
Speaker 6 (01:10:03):
So would they grade my Mickey Mouse or no, No,
they would not. They could definitely indicate the Mickey Mouse, they.
Speaker 5 (01:10:09):
Would definitely slab it for you, but they wouldn't like
certify the auto.
Speaker 6 (01:10:15):
Why not I have a video?
Speaker 5 (01:10:16):
You know what, maybe maybe people playing Mickey a day like.
Speaker 4 (01:10:20):
Mark, You're not gonna believe this, but Cis contacted me
this week because somebody came to one of their shows
with stuff to submit. Because you can also go to
if they were like at a toy show, when they
were at wrestling on you could submit in hand. Someone
was submitting heels and faces Matt Cardona and smart Mark
Sterling and they were asking me if my, uh the
mac Coronol signature was authentic if it was me, And
(01:10:40):
I said, oh yeah, And I said, and I don't
think anyone is fake a smart Mark Sterling audience.
Speaker 6 (01:10:46):
True true, true, But also my real autograph is on
the box.
Speaker 5 (01:10:51):
Yeah, but that doesn't mean that it's fine. Yeah, but yeah,
So so every week I will do like one maybe
two graded things is to show up because.
Speaker 6 (01:11:00):
I promise you whoever that is is listening to this
podcast right now, and it's like, let's me. You're not
you're not putting out a smart mark for grading that
doesn't listen to the major wrestling for your Podcort.
Speaker 4 (01:11:11):
Yeah, well, I mean you're not doing a Mat Cordona either.
No one's faking a Matt Cardona autograph either, right right? Yeah,
So I mean, and you know, for instance, everything like
here's my CoA. So if I ever want to sell,
for instance, that brutus all, it's all, you know, authentic,
all certified everything.
Speaker 6 (01:11:28):
Honestly, Matt, I did see that people were giving you
shit about this with the ad and stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:11:33):
But but I.
Speaker 6 (01:11:36):
I'm not shilling either. But I enjoy this segment and
I'm very interested in this.
Speaker 5 (01:11:41):
Yeah, I have a lot of I have to do
my stuff, just because I was just going.
Speaker 6 (01:11:45):
To ask you, Brian, if you were to do something,
what would you do?
Speaker 5 (01:11:49):
That's it? My prototypes and oh the prototypes, bro, how
do you not? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:11:55):
Like, look, how fucking sick. This looks bro like and
it's all custom like this isn't like you know, all
these straps holding the hogan down like they made it
for this figure, right of course, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (01:12:05):
I have the Flair Ultimate Prototype, which is worth nothing,
but it would be cool the presentation.
Speaker 5 (01:12:13):
Yeah, this is the presentation, but.
Speaker 6 (01:12:14):
I also kind of want to get my better call
Saul one signed, graded and authenticated.
Speaker 5 (01:12:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:12:22):
So I was just when I was at the factory
yesterday and I want I was gonna do a vlog,
but they don't want anyone seeing how things are done inside.
So I was like, if I can't even film inside,
then what's the point, you know. But like they were,
I was just seeing all these samples, the things that
are getting made, Like, you know, I could if I
want to take like a loose retro zach Ryder and
(01:12:43):
then all the zombie Sailors and like line them up
and do like an evolution of mac Cardona loose retro
thing like graded and slabbed, like you can. You can
make whatever you want.
Speaker 5 (01:12:52):
You can make. You can do Rick Flair versus smart
Mark Stirling. You know.
Speaker 6 (01:12:57):
Yeah, I was just thinking like if I could do
a Mickey, I would love to put the sign Mickey
in the same case as the as an open one,
kind of like you have that.
Speaker 4 (01:13:07):
Yeah, I mean you could even include the picture of
us with Mickey in there and they would do it
like they'll make whatever you want, oh, which is what
the other grading companies won't do.
Speaker 6 (01:13:18):
Wow, I'm in on that. Like I said, I'm trying
to not have anything out of a glass, right, and
I have that making on a shelf and it just
bothers me that like dust could gets on it, you know.
Speaker 5 (01:13:31):
Yeah, Okay, And yeah, so guys, And I'm not getting
every mental card figure I have greater that's ridiculous.
Speaker 4 (01:13:38):
I'm not sure quite the task. But centerpiece stuff, important stuff.
Something means a lot to you.
Speaker 6 (01:13:46):
And by the way, since you were talking about this,
I do have another pitch for you. First of all,
last week I did a ton of rearranging with my collection, right,
I got all those Monday Net war so I had
to like pull things out and put things back in
and all that. I moved almost every one of these
displays behind me around you know whatever. I had a
(01:14:07):
great time. It took me about four hours or whatever,
you know. It was just it was just fun.
Speaker 5 (01:14:13):
It's an adult version of playing.
Speaker 6 (01:14:15):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:14:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:14:17):
So I started to like think about like what you
have to do in that room, and at first I
was like, oh man, that sucks, but then I was like, no,
you're gonna have a blast for like a week. Yeah,
figuring it out, like I think I'm gonna put these
behind and the knees in front, and I really hope
that you do a vlog.
Speaker 4 (01:14:37):
I'm gonna do something. I am definitely there's a lot
of my collection we've talked about before. I'm gonna downsize
and it's so it won't be as daunting to be
doing this.
Speaker 5 (01:14:44):
The take a shot.
Speaker 4 (01:14:46):
The matel case is gonna be the worst because I'm
gonna have like a thousand or so loose figures. But
everything else I'm gonna kind of downsize.
Speaker 5 (01:14:55):
Because I just did did a bit of it. It's
overwhelming because there's so much right and I have more
than as you know, like okay, right, exactly, shell for
two worth of stuff and you're done.
Speaker 4 (01:15:08):
I also have to go get custom or not a custom,
but I find the right risers too, Oh my god,
for certain things.
Speaker 6 (01:15:16):
Well hopefully and you don't, don't do anything insane. Just
pick up the phone. Pick up every time you make
a decision, like just it can be as gorilla as
possible and let me figure it out.
Speaker 5 (01:15:25):
But yeah, this needs to.
Speaker 6 (01:15:26):
Be documented, especially you in an empty ass room going
let's do this and then the end of it.
Speaker 5 (01:15:33):
I think it needs to be two separate things, like
the tour needs is separate. Yeah that's fine, but the
setting up is certainly something. I might get a separate
phone that I just keep in that room, you know
what I'm saying. A camera camera, Yeah, I might. I'm serious.
I might do that.
Speaker 4 (01:15:48):
Okay, I just press record every time I'm in there. Yeah,
all right, all right, we're ready for some major mark
purchases of the week.
Speaker 7 (01:15:55):
I mean, I got some purchases, but you can you
can hear all well, I mean, what do you mean?
I mean, I I get purchases, but I just don't
talk about them. You can hear all about them on
Figured Dissecting on major Marx dot com. But coming, I mean,
I got Marvels rom Space Night obviously, well a lot of.
Speaker 9 (01:16:15):
People did as well as uh. I mean, I got
Marvel Legend.
Speaker 7 (01:16:18):
Spider Man Maximum Series controversial Guy, Controversial Guy point price
point what, Yeah, the piece count and uh, the unseen
costs that a lot of collectors didn't see is the
amount of tampa ops that were all applied across this guy.
So most amount of Tampo's.
Speaker 5 (01:16:39):
Across the Spider Man figure.
Speaker 7 (01:16:41):
Yeah, this is McFarland a McFarland era and then the
Maximum Series Hulk. That one's like three different artists, different
eras for that. But I also got the uh, the
Ultimate Bray from Ollie's I'm gonna be talking about that,
the black Light, the feature on that.
Speaker 5 (01:16:55):
I don't know what they did all that stuff.
Speaker 9 (01:16:58):
Wow, a lot of it.
Speaker 7 (01:16:59):
Came from Target. There were some some books that also
came from Target as well. I mean, like I think
some of the East Coast probably got also.
Speaker 5 (01:17:06):
Like correct if I'm wrong the way I was seeing it,
Like they're not complete series, right.
Speaker 7 (01:17:11):
No, the yeah, there was some characters missing from the Yeah,
there wasn't like like uh like one seven. Well, because
they're all solid cases, so there's some they were all
shipped in solid case. There's no.
Speaker 9 (01:17:26):
Yeah, there wasn't.
Speaker 7 (01:17:28):
Yeah, there wasn't like a jade, there wasn't an axiom sEH, Okay,
it all depends, I guess, so maybe maybe maybe, uh
maybe certain solid cases got shipped.
Speaker 5 (01:17:37):
Off to different stations.
Speaker 7 (01:17:40):
Yeah, and yeah, I have the Monday Night war Stone
Cold I'll be discussing.
Speaker 5 (01:17:44):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (01:17:45):
I purchased the Wave seven Seampunk in L A Knight
l A Knight, Knuckle Crunchers and c M Punk Seampunk
made it onto the top ten best sellers for Rings
Eye Collectibles, So a bunch of bunch of stuff. Also,
the new Superpowers Wave the last I guess technically Superpowers Wave,
I mean Wave twelve hasn't come out yet, but DC Superpowers,
so uh, those will be discontinuing at least that's what
(01:18:08):
it appears, and some some Disney storytellers as well.
Speaker 6 (01:18:12):
So you are okay, you still want to buy this
line that is dying, Well.
Speaker 7 (01:18:17):
It's the last I mean, I didn't get any of
the Way twelve figures the ones that fit in with
that era, similar with like the retros with with Mattel
w Retros and all the other various manufacturers that do
the ones that fit within that era, the eighty four
to eighty six timeline, or if you use your imagination,
like oh if this word continue up until eighty eight,
(01:18:38):
like what this character would potentially fit in with that?
So all the characters like so like there's like an
animal Man, Animal Man and Wave eleven, but he comes
with his soft goods jacket. But he didn't have this
softgoods jacket until the eighty eight publication. So but they
have it to where it's a two and one do
where you can take it off, the take off the
jacket if you want a more traditional nineteen eighty two
(01:18:58):
nineteen eighty four animal man.
Speaker 6 (01:18:59):
But if Mattel makes an animal Man, do you get
rid of the old one?
Speaker 9 (01:19:03):
Well, that's a different form factor.
Speaker 7 (01:19:04):
If Mattel continues the DC Superpowers, which is I think
four and four and a half scale, if they continue
that particular form factor, then potentially, But I think they're
gonna probably go with the six and three. I mean
they're gonna have various segments when they I mean that
that's it's gonna.
Speaker 6 (01:19:20):
Assume that they're gonna do.
Speaker 9 (01:19:22):
I'm boned up, boned up for going boned up.
Speaker 7 (01:19:25):
They're going to be showing off a bunch of stuff
that's gonna not be available for purchase until July, because
that's what the contract States is not until the third
quarter when all the DC stuff comes out.
Speaker 6 (01:19:33):
So, well, you got if you're interested in this, in
this stuff, the DC, well I go into detail.
Speaker 7 (01:19:38):
All these episodes are ten plus minutes. So yeah, Major
Marx dot Com Heart Foundation Tier fourteen ninety nine.
Speaker 6 (01:19:45):
And you've got to be close to one hundred episodes
of that.
Speaker 9 (01:19:47):
Oh, there's almost two hundred episodes.
Speaker 6 (01:19:49):
Two hundred episodes.
Speaker 7 (01:19:51):
Yeah, I think, uh, latest one that's going to be
going up this week, I think is one ninety four
and that's on Jazz War's uh Spartan Collection, Halo Spartan Collection,
Halo three, Mass Chief that goes for one hundred plus
hundred plus all these different brands.
Speaker 9 (01:20:04):
Yeah, I got even.
Speaker 7 (01:20:05):
I mean this is manufacturer talk of the town everybody.
So this is like what ideally I would like the
DC figures to be like in terms of the form factor,
like the PBC.
Speaker 9 (01:20:17):
Overlay on the crotch super well, they don't have to
be superject.
Speaker 7 (01:20:21):
It all depends on, like similar to how Hasbro does
their Marvel Legends to where certain it's artists interpretations, so
different interpretations by each artist, so hopefully they go that route.
The double neck joint double neck joint will be nice.
Butterfly shoulders.
Speaker 6 (01:20:35):
These are the figures that need that kind of stuff, right.
Speaker 7 (01:20:37):
Yeah, yeah, and these I think, uh, these are now
getting placed at least in select locations in the Boys
Toy Aisle, the Action Figure asle I know, Target still
has them in their collector spot, but the Jader Toys
Street Fighter, and they already announced it. Originally it was
twenty five, but I think Walmart has them for thirty tariffs. Yeah,
(01:20:58):
potentially the the price did increase, uh that Jim Terris,
and they also have Scooby Doo as well that they're
doing in the Yeah, but these are true one twelfth
scale Marvel Legends that's six and three quarter six and
a quarter inch scale, so there's all different scales.
Speaker 9 (01:21:12):
And I discussed this all in detail. I'll figured I sective.
Speaker 6 (01:21:14):
So I love this ad.
Speaker 5 (01:21:16):
All right, Well, thanks, Yeah, let's go to some major
mark purchases of the week.
Speaker 6 (01:21:29):
All right, we got some cool ones this week, very interesting.
Speaker 5 (01:21:33):
Check this out us.
Speaker 6 (01:21:38):
Jordan pal Palkovich has a long time Baltimore Orioles fan.
It's always nice to see it's star players get figure
recognition they deserve. So when I saw the o's shortstop
Gunner Anderson was getting not just a Funko but also
in McFarlane. I had no choice but the pre order
through Entertainment Earth. The small details on the McFarlane are great,
(01:21:59):
including the name on the protective gear and the dirt
stains on the uniform. They're both probably displayed in my
office room above my work desk, next to my brgs
and some other figs.
Speaker 5 (01:22:08):
I have ept the Lindor in the same lineup and
same thing. You know, just get excited when it's your team,
you know, because there's only six or eight, you know,
talent in a set, so, you know, thirty teams in baseball,
not everyone's gonna Yeah, it's pretty cool obviously be represented,
so as exciting when it's your team statues.
Speaker 6 (01:22:26):
Uh, look at this FOW.
Speaker 5 (01:22:27):
I saw this in the group.
Speaker 6 (01:22:29):
Dan Desana Desenia found this huge felt painting of Holkster
at a flea market. This weekend initially passed, but after
walking around and hearing people talk about it was giving
some serious fomo cool way to cap off my birthday weekend,
considering I share a birthday with Hogan.
Speaker 5 (01:22:46):
Happy Birthday, Happy birthday, Miss Squinton. Look at that it
looks like ms Dad dressed up.
Speaker 6 (01:22:52):
This piece will make a great decore for a future
home gym.
Speaker 5 (01:22:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:22:56):
He also says hashtag unblocked the stand asignia. You have
him blocked, Briskie.
Speaker 4 (01:23:01):
If I haven't blocked, I saw this earlier. If I
have you blocked, you're block for a reason. I never
go through my Twitter like, you know what, I want
to block someone randomly today. Right, you either said something
out of line to me or I saw you say
something out of line.
Speaker 5 (01:23:14):
To somebody else.
Speaker 6 (01:23:14):
Right, We've talked about this. I will see somebody if
somebody says something real mean, that's like even like anybody
on the roster or somebody I know, I'm like, ah,
I don't need you in my life exactly. Okay, this
is a big one. This don Bloom.
Speaker 5 (01:23:30):
You can't sell a gun these days.
Speaker 6 (01:23:32):
This is one of my biggest toy purchases of all time.
Not the most expensive, but definitely one of the most meaningful.
I picked this up at one of my local vintage
toy stores in Albany, California, which will be celebrating its
fiftieth anniversary next week. By the way, Toy Go Round, Inc.
Is the store they don't have a lot of wrestling, admittedly,
(01:23:53):
but a great store nonetheless. Anyway, I've been staring at
this for weeks now and finally decided to pull the trigger.
It's not sealed, but complete and in excellent condition, including
the box. I never saw this in stories at all
when I was a kid and always wanted one. Seeing
it just sitting there on the shelf, I knew it
was a unique opportunity and had to have it. This
vintage g One Megatron is now one of the crowning
(01:24:16):
pieces in my collection. To top it off, my partner
picked up g One sound Wave for me from the
same store just a couple of weeks ago. They'll both
have a central place in my collection. Pretty cool, very
old stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:24:29):
Love it.
Speaker 6 (01:24:32):
All right. We've got a little Bill and Ted here.
Aunt DeLucia. Probably lately late on this, but I was
at terrificon talking to my friends about how I'd like
to get a figure for each licensed property I've created
merch for and what do I find on the in
the brother Jeff Noys's booth. But Bill s Preston esquire
(01:24:53):
a sweet deal too.
Speaker 5 (01:24:56):
I've never seen these movies. I saw the wh can
I like I really couldn't tell you anything about him.
Like great toys, I know that, I know they make
the phone Ruth. I'm kind of familiar with the toys.
Speaker 6 (01:25:08):
Here's a big update, guys, from the early parts of
the pod.
Speaker 5 (01:25:13):
This is why I saw this. Is that what I
think it is? Yes it is.
Speaker 6 (01:25:16):
Derek Sturgeon received the last package from my Eagle Moss
Ecto one this week. A six year journey is finally complete.
Why fan Home was horrible to deal with numerous shipping delays,
missing pieces, et cetera. But I'm glad they picked up
where Eagle Moss left off so that I can finish
this massive thing. So apparently, you know we talked about
(01:25:39):
this a long time ago, fan Home picked up the
Eagle Moss thing and started where they left off. I
think you could have caught up if you if you
wanted to or whatever, but I guess it finished up.
Speaker 5 (01:25:49):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (01:25:51):
This is very unique.
Speaker 2 (01:25:52):
What uh.
Speaker 6 (01:25:55):
Jeffrey Krunniex has built and opened a free blockbust north
of Boston. It's like a little free library, but for movies.
And yes, we've saved a prime spot for the wrestling section.
Because every neighborhood needs a good body slam with its popcorn,
just waiting for someone to donate an FWFVHS. Wow, we
(01:26:15):
have a lot of these in our neighborhood, like people
with the free libraries. But this is a pretty neat idea.
Speaker 5 (01:26:21):
I dig it.
Speaker 6 (01:26:22):
Well, Okay, Display of the week. This is not a
huge room, but I popped at this display. Check this out, ha,
Jeffrey Krniac, I'm sorry, Matt Jay Brazinski mini display my
custom homage slash display showing off my major pod fandom.
I've never thought of. You know, a lot of people
(01:26:45):
have showed off their their figures of us in podcast gear,
but they're the ultimates and the elites, you know. I've
never thought of doing the retros. Right, So it's it's
the Brian head on the Ambrose Potty.
Speaker 5 (01:27:02):
I like it.
Speaker 6 (01:27:03):
I like that he found some glasses for me because
I'm always wearing the glasses on the pond.
Speaker 5 (01:27:07):
That's really cool, really fun. I like it. I dig
that all right? All right, and up next the Q
and a Let's go baby.
Speaker 3 (01:27:27):
Yeah sis dog dropping a new Q and a jingle
for you here twenty twenty five less goal. It's the
juvene for the Major Pond.
Speaker 1 (01:27:38):
He is your chance to ask all you want, like
the death Match King, You'll be riding high that you're
the one that got the major prize.
Speaker 3 (01:27:46):
If you hate ja are do you ready to rock?
Then post attack ask majapo.
Speaker 4 (01:27:55):
Alright, guys, every single week use the hashtag ask major pod.
Speaker 5 (01:28:00):
Read your question on air, you will get a prize.
Speaker 6 (01:28:04):
Who won this week Matt's question Bandy Man sixty four,
Griffith six. With the ww unreal being popular, how long
until we get a Bruce Pritchard Michael Hayes fig with
gorilla position player?
Speaker 5 (01:28:19):
I mean not impossible, not likely.
Speaker 4 (01:28:23):
I mean I don't think it's it's crazy because like
during like the Titan Tron era, even the Ruthless Aggression era.
Now it's different because there was toys, r us stuff
like that, but there was so much like play sets
and backstage stuff. And this is before figure photography was
even a thing. There were so much stuff, and now
when figure photography is a thing, there's nothing right, there's nothing.
Speaker 6 (01:28:46):
I feel like they've had fights in that gorilla position too.
Speaker 5 (01:28:49):
They they actually do. There are a lot of shots
in there, so I definitely think they could justify it.
Beyond unreal is what I'm saying, like, yes, television, you.
Speaker 6 (01:28:57):
Know we're just filling out the backstage area that you
could fight up the ramp into the backstage area, slam
on the table.
Speaker 5 (01:29:05):
I love the idea of that, even if it was like,
you know, you got Triple H on with the headset
and we literally just saw Triple H with that three
pack on.
Speaker 4 (01:29:13):
And yeah, I love the bruise, the Mike lace. Maybe
like a bald billy kidman doing the Times.
Speaker 6 (01:29:20):
You know, you could put the brand presidents or the
brand whatever.
Speaker 4 (01:29:23):
There's something that could be done. But first, guys, I
think we need like a stage first, you know, like
an entrance.
Speaker 6 (01:29:30):
Yeah, right, you're right, You're right, you're right.
Speaker 4 (01:29:31):
But it's funny because I actually text state texta Bruce
Pricher this week. He actually responded, I believe it or not.
I said, but I said, you know, with w W
E getting l JAM back, we need that l JM
brother love.
Speaker 5 (01:29:46):
Yes, And he, I mean he agreed with me. Yeah,
I think I think this could work the gorilla position
with with at least I don't think it's like an
outrageous thought. I think I could certainly be a thing.
Speaker 6 (01:29:57):
Certainly brock throwing the belt Evince uh okay. Brian's question,
Steve Hooker Starman, New Jersey Starman, have you ever sneezed
during a match. I've been watching wrestling almost forty years
live on TV, and I've never seen it happen even once.
Speaker 5 (01:30:15):
I I don't I've never seen it, heard of it.
And that was this question on my wheel spinning like
I've never seen it like on a in a baseball
game or a football get like, I personally don't think
I ever have. Yeah, I can't think of someone ever
doing it. It's like almost an unexplained thing, like I
(01:30:36):
don't know. And I've been like sick with like colds
and had matches and not right.
Speaker 6 (01:30:41):
It's impossible. You can stop yourself from sneezing if you
try hard enough.
Speaker 5 (01:30:44):
You can't. I do it all the time at airport.
I'll never like, just sneak broo in the airport. I
don't give a ship. Yeah no, come on, you're covered.
I mean I try to do the elbow or something,
but I'm not.
Speaker 4 (01:30:56):
Going to control ever. Since Vince said you didn't like sneezing,
I learned how to control it. I the hold of
sneezing is like horrible for me.
Speaker 5 (01:31:04):
I hate it. It can be done. I agree, it
can be done with it, but you're like breathing, you're yelling.
Speaker 6 (01:31:12):
There's no way you're gonna snee.
Speaker 5 (01:31:13):
I guess yeah, there's something to that though. That's why
they triggered me on that one. But that was an
interesting question to pick.
Speaker 6 (01:31:19):
Yeah, okay, my question. His dog, our good friends, his dogs.
Speaker 5 (01:31:24):
His dog's back.
Speaker 6 (01:31:26):
It's been a while since we've heard about your eBay
save searches. What white whale still haunts your eBay safe
search list, So a little update Saved searches.
Speaker 5 (01:31:35):
Minor the same. The real sad part is now it's
like a lot of what not possibilities or like I
know I'm going to see somebody on a show, or
somebody's coming in for creative pro.
Speaker 6 (01:31:49):
Well, I know one of yours is smart Mark Sterling
upper Deck trading card.
Speaker 5 (01:31:54):
I've deleted that because I only wanted your rookie stuff.
So I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:31:57):
I didn't know you.
Speaker 6 (01:31:57):
I didn't know that was a real thing. I was
just kidding.
Speaker 5 (01:32:00):
I do have some stupid ones, like Aces A eights
t today, Like I want aces eight shirt. Yeah, this
one's an Aluke Harper autograph. I want to figure for
my wall since I vote and I have, He's always
been on my wall. I never got him to sign it,
so now obviously, like you know the circumstances, I'll just
(01:32:21):
take what I can get. If you know his elite
ever popped up signed, you know I'd pay a substantial
amount money for that.
Speaker 4 (01:32:28):
I'm looking for some random things on my safe searches,
like and I want these Absolutely Mint if anybody has these,
like R three WrestleMania Maven, I want that Absolutely Mint
on card toy bass Smash the slam Hogan. But it
has to be like the tan version with the fat
nWo spray paint that is on my safe searches. The
(01:32:49):
number one thing on my safe searches, I think right
now it's gonna be sound so crazy, but it's a
McDonald's play set that I had as a kid. We
get drive through playset. But I want it in the box.
Speaker 6 (01:33:00):
That's impossible.
Speaker 5 (01:33:01):
I don't Yeah, I want it in the box. I
don't want to play it with one I want to complete.
I want it brand new. That's my I think my
number one safe search. The other one I've had for
a long time now was aw test shot because I
have Chris Statlander prototype, I have an MGF prototype, I
have Johnny and Alex prototypes, and I never could find
(01:33:23):
a Max Caster. And I've seen, like I want to say,
I've seen Billy Gunn en Bowens, and I've never ever
seen a Max Caster.
Speaker 6 (01:33:30):
Secretly, Max is just buying his.
Speaker 5 (01:33:32):
He doesn't even know what a prototype is.
Speaker 6 (01:33:36):
I just have one, just one I have. I'm missing
one collector's edition World of Warcraft's game. It's the reth
of the lich King game. It pops up all the time,
but the prices can go from three hundred to two thousand.
So I'm just trying to find a reasonably priced sealed
version of the game. So that's it, and that'll finish
(01:33:58):
my collection.
Speaker 5 (01:33:59):
It's funny something that's on my safe search has just
popped up, and I think I'm buying it right now. Wow,
what a heads up. Thanks his dog Dogs assists.

Technically, if you're in the Hard Foundation up, you get
the prize the card. The July card has not shipped.

No, but it is. It is almost shipped. Okay, almost shipped.
Speaker 5 (01:36:25):
You know, I'll bring this d did the June card
ship July?
Speaker 6 (01:36:31):
So June was saboo.
Speaker 5 (01:36:34):
People have gotten that. I've seen that in the group
and people.
Speaker 6 (01:36:36):
Have gotten that.
Speaker 5 (01:36:37):
I just got it this morning.
Speaker 6 (01:36:38):
Okay. So the one that we're packaging up right now
is nobody knows yet, and that would be the July card.
Speaker 5 (01:36:46):
Okay, okay, So that is almost out, and the Ultimate
Gift is almost out as well.
Speaker 6 (01:36:50):
The next Ultimate Gift is almost out. Yes, now, I'll
say this. Some people were questioning the randomness of the
of the who gets the special cards. This was It's
random in twenty different ways. Right. So, like we have
a list of everybody who's Ultimate. That list goes into
a that list goes into an Excel sheet. Okay, there
(01:37:11):
is a way that you can. Of course it comes
in alphabetical, but there is a way that you can
randomize your Excel list. Right, so then the Excel list
gets randomized. Then you know, as we do it, we
put all the cards in envelopes, so we have just
blind envelopes, and then we take all of the the
(01:37:34):
addresses and we put them on random envelopes. So even
if I wanted, for example, to give Chris Grocock, if
I saw the Chris Grocock label, even if I wanted
to send him one, I wouldn't know which envelope has
the whatever. So it's random as it comes off the paper.
It's random because they're in blind envelopes. So if you
(01:37:57):
have never gotten one, it's called luck pal. I'm sorry.
There are some people that have never gotten much super
bad luck. There are people that have gotten multiple that
is super good luck. But for the most part, people
have gotten a few hero there over the years. And
I would say that's like the standard got it.
Speaker 4 (01:38:15):
So yep, just hit us up Major marks dot com.
All right, pros and T's dot com slash major. There's
still time to get that big ass extreme bash shirt
