Speaker 1 (00:15):
All right, everybody here. It is episode number two of
He's Happy Hour. I don't know what the hell's still
going on, but I guarantee you damn good time, smart
Mark talk to me baby.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Okay. Well, hey, we're coming off our first episode last month. Right,
there was a lot of great feedback, beautiful, a lot
of walls. Yeah, people loved it.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Good.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
I said, we want to talk about sort of you know,
wrestling things, but also normal things as well.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
For sure, me too.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Right, So this week you said you don't know what's
going on, I just smartened you up, literally like thirty
seconds ago, that this week's topic is actually the great
Harry Potter.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Harry Potter, Harry Potter, Pa pa.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
So Brian Meyer.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Right, I think you nailed it, dude, I think I
did too. Brian Meyer said he was dumbfounded when he
found out that heaths Later was in fact a Harry
Potter fan.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Brother. He still has a lot to learn about me, really,
Oh yeah, man, come on, there's I change every day
I grow, you know, I keep growing and growing. I
got limbs. I'm like a tree, you know what I'm saying.
I just got limbs growing of all different directions and
a lot of people don't know about.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
But before we jump into it, just for some context.
Everyone knows you got kids.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Oh that's a fact, but what what.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Is what do you actually have? You have two girls?

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Yeah? Two girls, man, and what are the ages? Yeah?
So fifth and third grade? And one's just like mama
and the other ones just like me. Oh brother, it's
it's so obvious too. It's crazy. One's literally a Disney
princess and the other one is me in a little

(02:09):
eight year old body of a little girl. So, uh yeah,
it's wild man Connor uh Ryan from Ascension. He calls him,
he calls Rod's Disney princess, and he calls remy queen
cong brother. I remember he came to my house one
day to stay the night, you know, when we were
in town and stuff, and he literally just saw her

(02:31):
in her pantry climbing it trying to get something. And
this was when she was like two or three, you know,
and then he just was like whoa, whoa, what? What
what was going on? You know? I'm like, oh, don't worry,
I'll get her. You know.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
She climbs the pantry, off it.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Brother, She goes everywhere. She's just a nut. But no,
you know, I got kids, man, and that allows me
to act foolish and be a kid. Like I have
an excuse to act like a kid now, you know,
being a dad, brother, it's to be. It is the
best because you can't make fun of me for doing it,
because more like people if I was doing it on

(03:05):
my own, they'd be like, look at this, you know,
what is they doing? But I'm doing with the kids,
and they're like, all look at that.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
You know, but no, man, Yeah, So indirectly it's speaking
of that we I always think me and Brian have
talked about this, when what's gonna happen when Matt becomes
a dad, you know, like his life's gonna change so much.
But I also think that he's gonna really like it
because of that exact reason.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
It's gonna be a I well, this is me, this
is what I feel about it. He will probably be
a wonderful dad, right, you know. But the one thing
that's going to kill him more than anything is that
every one of those toys that he has, they're gonna
have to go somewhere or they're gonna have to get
a way bigger house one or the other because and

(03:54):
you can't get mad when the kid stumbles into your
room and then it's destroyed because it's a baby and
don't know better. But I feel like he would take
it personally and have heat. To say personal, he would
take it personally, have heat with this little baby girl
or boy. You know.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
The next thing you know, he's given a rough rider
to a two year old. Everybody, he's making the news,
you know.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
All right, So Harry Potter, how'd it start?

Speaker 1 (04:25):
So?

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Now, were you a fan at all before the kids?
Did you like? Read it when it came out?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
So me and my wife's been together on an off
since high school. Okay, so seventeen and fifteen is when
we knew each other. But her and her dad was
the hugest fans of Harry Potter. They read the books,
They went to the midnight showings at the AMC. You know,
they did all of that. So at that age, she

(04:53):
reeled me in on it because I'm like, heck, yeah,
I want to go on a date with this girl.
I'll go and watch Harry Potter. Who cares? You know.
I got into it because, you know, I have an imagination.
I wished I had a wand and could cast a
spell and some sons of bitches.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
You know doesn't have Brian does not have an imagination,
but go ahead.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
He's better story man. But but it's like, you know,
I started back then watching it, but I never really
like dug into it until the babies came around, and
then Steph would have Harry Potter nights and making chocolate
frogs and getting the jelly beans and making the room

(05:32):
looks like it's like a Hogwarts scene, you know, like
it takes snow out. Dude, she went all out to
where I just was like, she really loves this ship,
you know. So then it reeled me in. And then
they said, you know, I'm a Harry Potter fan, you know.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
So have you read all the I'm assuming you've seen
all the movies. Oh yeah, all the movies, read all
the books?

Speaker 1 (05:56):
You really don't ask me that.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Well, it's fine.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
If you have, of course, man, I of course I
have it.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Okay, of course I haven't. Hey, let me tell you,
let me tell you pale. All right, here's my one. Uh,
here's my one, pitch h, I read all the books
before the the movies movie came out, fully fully because
they were A couple of them are already out when
I started reading. But I didn't read. I listened.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Audio book traveling a lot.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
You know that kind of ship. Right, Sure, they're pretty
quick and the Harry. So I I have listened to
a lot of audiobooks in my life. I one time
had a for two years. I had a hour and
a half commute to work every day, uh and back,
so it's three hours every day. I banged out books.
The the Harry Potter audio books is one of the

(06:46):
best narrators of all times. The Guinness Book of World
Records for the most distinct voices done in an audiobook.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Oh that's true, statement.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
True statement. Every character he does a different voice. It's
fucking unreal.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
About to say. He makes you really feel that moment.
And yes, yes, beautiful that.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
You got a long trip. Try it out and it's
like soothing, it's nights relaxing. Yeah, all right, that's my pitch.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
I'll definitely try it for sure, try it out.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Okay, So, so didn't read the books. All right? Also,
I will say our family as well, Harry Potter parties.
We've done it a couple of times.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Beautiful. We don't have to you know, can join it
one day and do it together.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
My wife would love that.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Oh dude, Mama man too. Definitely.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
I think they hit it off at the at the
Cardona wedding.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Time they did they had fun.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Oh yeah, so uh all right. So and then the
other context is my daughter seven. We have read the
first book in total, and then we watched the movie,
so that's all. And then we just started the second
book literally last week. We're a couple of chapters.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
In me well, Steph and the girls, I'll lay up
and listen, right and we're on the third movie. But
I mean after that, it kind of grows up quick
because you know, so it's like we have to pump
a break and then you know, continue because like, man,
I can't be talking about some of this stuff with
a ten and eight year.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Old, right, eight thousand percent agree? So eight yeah, you're
right with the eight. Really, I think that I think
we're only going to go to three until she's like twelve.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
About to say we we're at three now we stop,
you know, so it's like soon. I feel like as
soon as Roz gets to twelve and Remy's ten, I
feel like like the younger one matures quicker. Than the
older one too, because they like keep up, you know, right.
And my little one, like I said, she's just like me.
She loves this scary stuff. She wants to watch stranger things.

(08:50):
She likes Penny Wise, you know what I mean. So
it's like brother, Yeah, she's she's a different animal.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Man, that's crazy. My daughter, like I said, seven, she
cries and she's he's pro wrestling. So oh yeah. Okay,
a couple of questions. Now, would you consider yourself somebody
said me and Matt are closet Harry Potter fans. Okay,
And my defense there is simply we don't talk about

(09:19):
it often. First of all, Matt has never even seen
the movies. He just likes Harry Potter World, so he's
a Hary Cutter and we'll talk about Harry Potter World
in a little bit.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
I think that we don't talk about it because there's
no real toys, that toy podcast, there's nothing really that
We talk about star Wars a lot often because there's
tons of star wars to Harry Potter doesn't have any
Would you consider yourself a closet Harry Potter fan or
are you or would you tell anybody about it here
we are doing a podcast about it.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
But about to say I tell anyone about it. I
don't care. You know. It's one of those things where like, man,
I'm kind of like an open book. I might keep
a few things to myself, but other than that, it's like, yeah, man,
this is who the hell I am? You know, so,
but nah, man, Harry Potter is cool. I mean, and
you know a lot of people might now, don't get
me wrong, When I do see like a forty fifty
year old man walking through the park with a cloak

(10:07):
and damn wands and trying to do magic, I kind
of scratched my head and step back and be like, damn, man,
you are really a fan, you know.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
But if he's with his daughter, he wasn't Oh yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
It was literally it was like I get the parent part.
If he's with this daughter doing and I'm like, bro,
good for you, you know. But if it's just you and
you're like in line with the kids, and then you
get up there and you just down circle cross, you know,
and there's a little magic trick in the window, like
come on, man, and he turns around with a smile,
I'm like, man, he's he's there, yes, but but no,

(10:45):
I'm not that deep. But yeah, I'm a fan, man,
got it. I'm a fan of the Lord of the Rings.
You know, I love that stuff. I like Star Wars, Like,
do I know every character down to the team. No,
but I do enjoy watching the movie, you know. So yeah,
it's cool.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Okay, So what what house is Heath's Slater in?

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Brother? How about we just let everyone guess that one.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Yeah, I think I think that Heath Slater is in.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
I think you're in Gryffindor. You're heroic, right.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
I don't know. Maybe you've been a good guy.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
You know, you're you're saving people often.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
You know. You know. It's funny though, So you know
that legit Harry Potter test that you can take? Yes,
all right, So I never took it. And so on
the ride down to Orlando, STEP's like, hey, we're all
going to take the test and see what house we're inky. Okay. So,

(11:49):
and what's funny is that both of my little girls,
and this was a gift that they got at Harry
Potter World, they got Gryffindor.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Okay, then the test they got Gryffindor.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Yes, you know, so this is like a little notebook
that they even can't get their little sketch. But man,
this is like it actually feels good. It's a metal emblem.
This is like a cool little book you can get
down there. Yeah, but they both got gryffindor my wife
got is it hufflepuff? Yeah? And my ask got Slythering Man. Really, yes,

(12:26):
I am a Slythering. Yeah, my ass got a slithering man.
But then again, it was like, Snape's my favorite, you know,
so I'm just like and brother, I feel like with
He's hard as hell, mean as shit. But in the end, oh,
I want to cry. You know. It's like, oh, hero

(12:48):
up all he ros, you know what I mean? Wow?

Speaker 2 (12:51):
So what that was one of my next questions of
your favorite character.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
There we go and look at this.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
You're holding up a wand oh oh you have snapes wand.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Damn right I do baby, watch out? You know I
know how to do.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
It, guys. If you're watching the video version here, there's
some treats.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Hey, But honestly, though, so you know how you go
and do the ma Am I getting off the subject
or we just talking? No, we're just talking man, all right? Good?
So you go into Harry Potter World. You know.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
So context is is Heath just went to Harry Potter
World with his family.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Yes, well, Santa Claus got us four tickets and we
had to go. So it was awesome. But it was
a lot of fun. So we get there and you
know how they do the one ceremony to where you
can get like twenty two people in the room and
in the one gets to pick you next thing. You know,
man Rimy got picked, and she's like, whoa, what me? Okay,

(13:49):
So she gets up there and the dude's talking about
this one and dragon scale and this dragon scale. I'm like, oh, bro,
that's totally up her ally. I mean, I got a
dragon tattoo on me right here, just for her. So
it's like I'm like, bro, this is that's her Wand
and then the dude's like, no, I don't think it's
this one, because he's like, here, try this out. Ring
this bell one time. And then she she, you know,

(14:13):
and she hits it, but it's like ding dong ding
ding d every damn thing's going everywhere. They you know,
He's like, whoa, I don't think this is your wand
he picks another one. He gives it to another dragon
scale when you know, and I'm like, oh, yeah, this
is gonna be it. They see, you know, see if
you can turn this light off or something. But she
like knocks over a bookshelf for then she's just like,

(14:36):
oh ship, you know, damn, I didn't mean to do that,
you know. And she's like really filling this. And then
this is the best part is that he gets like,
I don't think that's yours. So he gets there another one,
but it's like unicorn hair or something, and I'm like, oh, bro,
this bad pick for her. She hates some damn unicorns

(14:56):
they see. Next thing, you know, she gets the she
looks up at it and then I forget what he
tells her to do and she does it perfectly, and
then like this, bright lights come on like aliens about
to suck her up from the sky, and this wind
comes this air machine her face throw. I wished I
had it on camera. She just was like, holy shit,

(15:19):
I magic. It was the best, just the memory of it.
Hopefully I don't ever forget it, but man, it was
such a good like, oh man, that was awesome for her,
you know.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
And then and then awesome she got picked.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Oh yes, that's that's the cool part about it. And
then the funny thing about it is she got we
get out there and I didn't know. And this is
oblivious to me that like I thought the one ceremony
thing like that you get a wand like, hey, this
kid got chosen. You get a want this thing you know,
you go through it's like, yeah, that one's a hundred
bucks if you want it. I'm just like, what the

(15:57):
ship you what? You know? And I looked at Rimy,
I'm like, baby, you want that one. She was like,
not really, I don't like this one. Yeah, I said,
you know, okay, you know, I said. But her treat
was we're gonna get them both to want, you know,
so that was their treat.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
But you want to get the one that you that
you want, not the one.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
The one that chose you. Yeah, exactly. That's that's what
with her, like little mindset was.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
So that's really cool as a kid because I don't
think I think my daughter would be would have taken
that one that she was given.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
But that's what I would have to because I would
be like, nah, man, this ship chose me. Powers here,
you know, I might be able to kind of somebody
you know. So. But but what got me is that
my little girl goes. I'm like, baby, pick out whatever
one you want. You go ahead. She comes back. She
comes back with this one.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
The skull no.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Death eater man. So I said, you know what, this
is exactly suits you perfectly because I would have picked
the same damn one. You know. The man, it's like
she's just going around the windows and doing all this stuff,
you know, and everything. This is a few of them.

(17:15):
If you don't know them to.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
See it, right, yeah, you're doing it.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
But I know, man, it's all in the wrist. They say,
you don't want to do big magic because it can
affect everybody. You want to do a little magic and
like cite into it. You know. Yes, And there's a
little camera up in the corner. You have to hit
a lot of kids don't know that and they leave unhappy.
You got to go to that camera.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
So you nailed it, Okay, all right, oh.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Brother, every time they thought I was damn Harry Potter
in that land.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Okay. Uh so you okay, Now what about the merch.
Now obviously we're a major wrestling for your podcast, we
talk about oh brother, Harry Potter, world is unbelievable. It's immersive, unbelievable.
I think it's better than stars Land, especially diagon Alley.
When you walk in there, you're literally movies in the movie.

(18:06):
Any of the march kind of catch your eye or
blow you away or what.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
I don't know, man, I mean what the Conor.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Luther showed us. If you're listening, he's got a headway live.
I think he bought an owl there.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
We got two of them. Man, my girls needed them,
and they're right, you're so cute. Hey man, Yeah, I
got a headwig. Man, he can then spin all the way.
Look at that like the Exorcist crazy.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
I love that. I didn't even I've never seen that,
but yeah, it's it's.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
A puppet in his butt. And then they saying, you know, man,
you can twist his head on this little knob. But yeah, man,
we got headwig too, So this was pretty cool. Both
of my girls ran up and said what oh, and
then they started playing with it, and I was like,
come on, let's get them. Yes, yeah, man, that was
that was a really cool merch. And like I said,

(19:06):
like I my girls enjoy writing and drawing, and these
books are in fabulous condition. Great shape, you know, and
it's really cool, I feel, you know. So yeah, it's
just one of those places if you're a fan, you
gotta go, man, like, I mean, it really brings you
to the movies, you know, and you get to ride

(19:26):
the train the Hogwarts site. What's it called Hardwarts Express? Yeah, yeah,
there you go, like the Midnight Express baby.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Candy shops on the other side, and.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Yeah, they got a did you know they got a
damn dragon there, man that breathes fire.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Wait where oh yeah yeah yeah on the top of them. Yes,
believed you miss it. That's one of the best parts.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Yes, brother, beautiful. And what's crazy is that once we
got off the train and we're walking through and I
love the fact how it's like kind of hidden too,
to where you like, if you don't know it's there,
you don't know. It's their type deal, you know, how
you walk through the little hallway and then you're like there,
but man, we're walking in, we're having a good time, like,
oh yeah, let's do this. And then by the time
we walked in, it was just like the fire. I'm like, damn,

(20:15):
that's an entrance, you know.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
Yeah that's true.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Yeah, yeah, it was. It was like, I don't know,
just the timing of when we did it was just
perfect and then it goes off like every thirty minutes
or something. Yeah, yeah, it was really cool.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
That's cool. You guys got Pyro on your entrance for him, right,
we did hell first time ever?

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Yeah, by damn dragon? Who else can they say had
Pyro by dragon? No one had ever damn wrestled in.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Brian doesn't even get that. Okay, he doesn't what they.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Pitched that to him. That might be cool having a
dragon come on the screen and blow fire and it
goes down a little bit and then he comes.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Now has screen fire, but he doesn't have actual fire.
Somebody did say what in the locker room recently that
there should blow the fire and then it comes out
in the pyro like.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
That would be cool.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Yeah right, okay, So what character is Heath Slater most like? Like,
or what kind of Heath Slater's in the movie?

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Like, what are you doing?

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Are you with Voldemort or or you?

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Okay, I don't think i'd be with Voldemort, man, he's
an asshole. No, I honestly think that I would be that,
you know in Slytherin, But I wouldn't be an asshole,
you know, or I would be an asshole, but I
wouldn't be maliciously mean, okay, you know, but I feel
like with my attitude and how I am, I like

(21:40):
to have a good time. But then again, if you
cross me, man, I'll smack the shit out of you,
you know. So some one of those things that I
feel like I would be in Slytherin. But then again,
I kind of feel like I could be in Gryffindor too,
maybe like a little mixture, but.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Kind of like Harry Potter, he could have been in both.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
That's very true, very true. But I feel like like
I just I don't know, like through the movies and everything,
like Professor Snape was my man like even from the beginning,
I'm like, man, he's an asshole, but I feel like
he has a good heart or something, you know. And
then by the end it was just like, holy crap,
I'm crying, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
If you actually believe that there was good in Snape
and by the end you were redeemed for sure. Spoilers guy, Sorry,
if you haven't seen.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
You haven't watched it already. My god, people, where the
hell you been? All right?

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Where's Brian fit In. Do you think what character is
he like or what houses he in? What do you
think Brian is in the Harry Potter world?

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Brother? I just think he'd be like one of those
loaners in No House, you know.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Okay, okay, maybe he's a Muggle.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
He might be a muggle, yeah, you know.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
And what about Brian, I mean Matt, Matt.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
I think he'd be a hufflepuff.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Okay, yeah, just planting plants nature ship. And then Dylan
was where's Dylan go?

Speaker 1 (22:58):
He's slithering to Oh yeah, you're right, Yeah, he's got
the inside right, Yeah, he's an evil goblin totally. Yes, Yes,
we should do a scary movie at Halloween and have characters.
It can be a little gobbling running around eating people's legs.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
All right? Do you play video games at all?

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Ah? Here and there?

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Are you used to?

Speaker 1 (23:23):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Are you familiar with this new Harry Potter game, Hogwarts Legacy?

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Well, what's funny is is that I have been seeing
commercials on it, and at first I thought it might
have been a movie, but then I found out it Yeah,
but then I found out it was a game. But no,
I haven't the only Harry Potter game that I've actually
played is Harry Potter, that lego game because my girls
love it and I'll play it with them.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Oh that's great. It's still good, very fun, still fun. Yeah,
this game. I'm only about two hours in. I think
the game is probably twenty hours, so we still got
a lot to go. But it is awesome and it's
its own story. So it takes place like one hundred
and fifty years before or our one hundred years or

(24:06):
something like that.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Yell, shit, that's still a long time.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
So there, like early nineteen hundreds. Yeah, Hogwarts.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Oh yeah, okay, it's very it's very cool. Their magic
wasn't advanced back then.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Though, magic I think, but the world wasn't.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
You know. There you go. It's pretty good setting. Yeah,
I haven't played it.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Now, what what would you do? Heath? Yeah, in the
real world, it's not Harry Potter, but you have now
you have a wand and you have magic. What would
you do?

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Brother? Being real? I just want peace with everybody, man, okay,
like being real, like my God. Like it's like it
doesn't matter what you do in this world. It's like
even if you're doing good shit, like people just want
to talk shit. You know to where you're just like,
come on, man, like I'm trying to help people and
you're just trying to put me down for trying to
help people. Type deal. But no, I just peace, man like,

(25:02):
damn be happy, man, enjoy what you got, you know,
open your eyes, see your surroundings. Don't let someone else
influence you to trying to be something that you can't
at the moment. You know, it's just damn this world
peace for one fucking time ever. Sorry sorry for using
that word.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
That's great. Perfect. They couldn't have couldn't have had a
better answer, all right, this one's kind of deep. Might
be getting a little political, okay, but oh god, I
know you're a religious guy. Religious groups say the Harry
Potter books are dangerous as they promote witchcraft among children.
What do you think of this?

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Well, I think a lot of religious groups take it
too far, too right, I mean being real. I mean
I grew up Southern Baptists, and I thought I was
going to hell before I even knew Jesus, you know
what I mean. So it's just that you just don't know, man,
You just really don't know. And I mean some people,

(26:01):
it's probably one person that said, Oh, they're doing witchcraft.
That's the devil, you know, but it's not. You know,
they got some good meanings in there, and like they
help people. Like if they would watch the movie or
maybe read a book, they might understand. But all they
see is the kids going around shooting once and they're like, ah,
it's devil magic, you know, but they don't understand. It's like,

(26:24):
if you don't understand something, you don't need to talk
shit to you at least know a little bit about it,
you know.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
And that preach man, It's like that's like people talk
about wrestling. You never watch wrestling in their lives.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Tell me about it, dude. I was on the internet,
me and Eddie Edwards. We had a good little match
the other day and this one shithead on the internet
was like, stop plugging at the ref counting, you know,
and I'm just like, brother, my head's facing that way anyway,
so I'm gonna at least look till my shoulders can
get up. It's like, how many times you have a match, shithead? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (26:58):
You know, yes, exactly, they.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
You know what I mean. Like, it's just one of
those things. Everyone's gonna have opinion about something. You can't please.
That's why I want world peace. Give me this damn
snape one.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
Yes, all right, last Harry Potter related question. All right, now,
you're a movie guy, not a book guy. But the
question is do you think JK. Rowling should write an
eighth Potter book or for you should there be in
would you be happy to have an eighth movie continuation
of the story at whatever point?

Speaker 1 (27:35):
I feel like it's good where it left off. You
feel like it. I feel like it's great. And I
feel like even if like people always want more, I
want more, more and more and more, please more. But
when they get more, it's not always good. It's not
always the best. Sometimes you just got to leave shit
where it lays, man, you know. And I feel like

(27:56):
with what they I mean, my god, they got two
parts in Universe rust Man, they're big enough. They're huge.
They set their mark like watch the movies over.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
Again, you know, like they're so totally rewatchable.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
They're beautiful. I am literally rewatching the whole Walking Dead,
damn seasons of to eleven. Yeah, and every I do
hour Cardio, and that's an episode, bam, every day, bam
Cardio watching the Walking Dead and then that's I'm rewatching
it because I love the ship, you know, rewatch it.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Man, what what is your cardio? What do you do
you running or you're walking up hill? Or what is
your car?

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Both? Both? Like I'll get on the treadmill and I
literally set it at like an eight inch inclim at
like three six and I'll do that for a while,
and then I'll set it down flat and do like
a seven miles per hour sprint, you know, for a minute,
and then after that I'll set it back walk up
hill like it's like, you know, little variations. Or I'll

(28:54):
do the stairsteper. But man, that shit kicks my ass. Man,
But but I do it, you know, not too long,
but I do it. But other than that, man, I
do about an hour of that to watch an episode,
and then I go and hit a body part.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Right, Okay, sorry, So back to Harry Potter. So yeah,
I agree with you. I I think that they did
a really good job building the world. Right, there's so
many like, yes, this fucking animal, who is this character?
What is this book? I think that there is room
to create more Harry Potter content, but I don't necessarily
want a continuation of the Harry Potter story.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
I get you nailed that there can like you know,
how what was it geography or whatever? You have the
bubble and it says Harry Potter, and then you can
draw the lines out and it's like you know, you know,
and you can expand. You can't expand, but don't you
can't mess with the original product. I agree expand if

(29:51):
you like to, of course, but don't mess with the original. Man.
I feel like it's perfect how it is. Leave it alone.
But if you want to exp I mean, what could
be cool was maybe, you know, Harry Potter and Weasley's
and all that stuff, they all have kids and then
it comes back to where Harry's like a professor now
you know, and that could be No.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
There's a play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and
it is it's set years later and it's Harry Potter's children. Okay,
literally a Broadway.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
Play beautiful and me and my wife loves Broadway plays. Man,
it watched.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
It's two parts. Okay, I can buy tickets to both,
but it's literally like all day I did you would
love the I did go see it's worth seeing. The
reviews are not great. I enjoyed it. It's worth it's
worth doing it. You guys should I would.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
I would totally watch it. That's a fact.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
Yeah, okay, all right, so let's uh, let's move on here,
uh to segment two. Unless you got anything else to
add here over the Harry Potter World.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
I just got a pee.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
If you have to, uh, sure you can piece while
we while we move on to the next segment. He
reads a list. All right, here we go.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
This on my second episode. We're back on my second episode.
It just lit up and I looked over and I said,
what the hell?

Speaker 2 (31:20):
I just I did not send him the list in advance, guys.
I don't want him to practice.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Okay, hey, guys, I promise you when he says this ship,
I don't get this until we record period. And it
like I literally sat down because I had the Wei
Wei and I look over my damn screen just lights
up and all you see is like first four names
and I can't pronounce any of them.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
All right, But this was Joe Hirsky's idea. He wrote
it in the Facebook group. I thought, that's had a
great idea. We're talking to out of this Joe Hirsky,
he's a Facebook.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Guy, joke my ass man, so he thinks, and I agree.
It wasn't funny. I was joking.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
Now anyway, go ahead and get your ask. It's Potter
week here and he's happy hours, so he's gonna read
the top ten Harry Potter spells.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
Oh boy, all right, he take it away, man, yo,
hold on, let me put my code in. Okay, ship,
let me get.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
My wand yes, you know, guys, if you're not watching,

Speaker 1 (32:22):

aloha mora.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Okay, hello, that's what I said.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
Number three Vedakenderaveria.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
That's about a cadavra. That's the death one. That's the
killing spell.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Well see, I don't want to kill nobody, man, I
just want to injure them, all right.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
Number four Crucusio.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
That's crucio. That's the injury spell.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
I like to injure people, but I don't want to
kill them.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
You know.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
There you go, expeto patronum.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
Come on, you know that one? No expect no patronum.
No expect no patronum.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
What's that one?

Speaker 2 (33:34):
That's the one, you know, like in the movies when
they they shot up their animal. Yes, nailed it. Okay,
there we go.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Number six experiamo soul expelling armis.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Number seven incindio.

Speaker 2 (33:53):

Speaker 1 (34:23):

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Obliviate oblivia ship. Yes, man, you got.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
Me thinking it's actually a real word. I'm an idiot,
all right. Number ten.

Speaker 3 (34:39):
Sectrum simpra.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
I think I think you got that one.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
I think I did too.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
And then the bonus This is famous from the movie.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Man, Oh, we're the grandam ni bressto.

Speaker 2 (34:51):

Speaker 1 (35:06):

damn self too much here.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
All right, that was great?

Speaker 1 (35:10):
All right, let's go on, hold on, who Brian Joe Hursky, Oh,
Joe Joe good idea. Man, What the hell? All right?

Speaker 2 (35:21):
Final segment of the show.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
Yeah, baby life advice, all right, Heath, These are real questions, right,
real questions from the Facebook group. All right.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
Eric Jeoffrey says, one time in college West Virginia University,
I was trying to get together with a girl and
she was from the southern part of the state. She said,
the only thing we're known for is Jesco White and
Heath Slater. Me, being a fan of wrestling, knew immediately
who she was talking about, so that really got me
over with her. I've always wanted to thank him for

(35:55):
indirectly helping me make that happen. Much love, Heath. That's
not advice. I just wanted to read that because it's
a great story.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
N brother. Hell yeah, Oh yeah. I wonder if they're
still together?

Speaker 2 (36:06):
Oh yeah, Eric, are you guys still together? Is that
your wife?

Speaker 1 (36:09):
I would say that would be kind of cool, But
then again, it might have just made a memory, you know,
a nice, nice little memory. Jesco White, Man, I don't
even know who that is. All Right. There's a movie
that I don't even want to say, okay, but if
you ever want to watch it, it's entertaining in the
worst ways possible. But it's called the wild and wonderful

(36:33):
Whites of West Virginia. And brother, woo wie oh man,
and I mean and I mean wooe.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
And what's funny is that my grandfather back in the
day love bluegrass music. Ralph Stanley used to come to
town and all this stuff. And I remember, as like
a seven year old kid being in a lawn chair
with my grandfather watching Jessico White have a refrigerator boxed down,
tap dancing on that Bitch's not kidding, just sitting in her.

(37:11):
That's all you would. That's all I remember hearing man
and him just right right, just tap dancing his damn
ass away man.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
All right, so that's who just go a wait is guys? Yeah,
all right. I picked this question because I need the
answer to this too, all right, And I think that
you might be a good person to ask. Mark Better says, recently,
I've been traveling for long stretches of time by myself.
How do you prepare for a long trips packing food, laundry,

(37:39):
and most importantly, staying connected with family?

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Brother, Okay, well, I ain't gonna lie I travel long trips,
and I was away from the family a lot of
my life. The good thing about now is that you
have FaceTime. You can always call, video chat whatever, like FaceTime.
The media is a life saver with my babies because
like I'll FaceTime and just walking around the arenas talking

(38:04):
to them, letting them talk to other people. Just it's
just a cool thing to keep them involved when they're
not around, you know. But man, these long trips and
all these like packing for food and all that stuff.
It's either you can pack for food or you can
literally stop at like the waffle house or a wah
wah or sheets or something, because like if you're traveling

(38:26):
late and everything, not much stuff's open. I mean we
all made like a living off a gas station beef
jerky and nuts for a long time, you know, like
protein bars and all that. But no, man, like, just
I feel like nowadays, you know, if it's one of
those things, it's like you have to find your niche
and what you're comfortable with and how you like to

(38:48):
you know, do your life and the way you want
to do it that can suit you. I said. But
all in all, man like, when it comes to all
of that, like you got to find your way because
like we all had to. But I feel like, you know,
with with the traveling and all that stuff, like being
away from the family, it sucks. But at least you
can still stay connected through you know, video chat and

(39:11):
text message and calling, so that's a plus. But when
it comes to food and eating, man, like I said, like,
if you if you want to do those pre prep meals,
I think Myers and all them got that. But then again,
you got to keep them cold as hell, you know,
the whole way. So you got to at least have like
a cooler with you the whole time, right, But then again,
waffle house is cheap, man, and it's lovely love waffle house.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
Oh me too, Yeah, oh yeah, I used to. I
was traveling to like I would bring my food for Tuesdays,
but Wednesday, you know morning, I'd have to find my
breakfast and then you get catering and then you're home. Really,
but that's only the bit of the one day trip.
When you do the day trips, you can't. Sometimes some
of the guys have the meals delivered to the hotel.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
Yeah that's true. I mean, if you want to go
to the extreme and do that, yes, but if you
can get vibe doing what you know works for you,
that works too. You know, you just got to find
your niche. That's just what it is. And it takes time.
I mean, my god, it takes time for everything.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
The phone call thing is. You know, obviously I do
the facetiming.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
That's the only way to do in a day me
at home. Yeah, just consistent, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
Yeah, I usually and sometimes on a Wednesday, like I
really only get that bedtime FaceTime. My daughter's at school
all day and then you know, I'm usually busy around
the four, five, six, and then I do a bedtime call.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
And just remember though, I mean, even whenever you're taking
a piss, taking the ship, you can just FaceTime them
have two minutes, and then two minutes means a lot.
I FaceTime my girls shipping. They didn't know, but I did,
you know, you know what I mean. The one I'm
saying is that that little bit of time counts for
a lot. Like when I when we grew up, we

(40:56):
didn't have that ship, Like, we had a call from payphones.
And when once we got sell phones, it was when
we were in you know, college, you know, so my gut,
you know, so I don't know, man, So you got
you gotta find You got to find that balance. Balance
is key. It took me a while to learn that too,
man Like it took me a long time to learn
balance was key. But once you find that balance, man,

(41:19):
your life gets easier. I feel great.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
Advice, all right, Johnny A. Spinoza says, what's the best
motivation you can give to a person who's feeling a
little down on themselves?

Speaker 1 (41:30):
Don't quit, man, Just I can tell you, for like
a fact, every time I've wanted to quit, and I
would push and push and push and push and go
and go and go, and just kept hitting walls, I
wouldn't quit and kept going and then it would pay off.
But you always have that doubt. You always have that

(41:52):
you know, uh, that that low self esteem. But once
you get your goal that you set, it's the most
rewarding thing you can get, you know, So others, just
don't stop at whatever you're trying to achieve and go
for because dude, failure is just going to happen. But

(42:13):
you get stronger, you grow from it, and you learn, man.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
Great man, awesome, all right, Heath, what do we think about?
What do we think about? Month two here.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
Shit, I don't know that people's going to tell him.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
Baby, let us know. Let us know what you think.
What if you if you think of a long form topic, Guys,
give us some ideas. I did put I put up
you know, I put up a poll and I wanted
to keep it like very vague. But you have to
put one. So I put MCU and Harry Potter. But
Harry Potter was the pick. Some people picked other things.

(42:51):
But let us know if you have a long form
idea to talk about in the beginning of the podcast.
We could talk about his career. We could talk about wrestling,
about three m B. We could talk about Marvel, we
could talk about.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
We can talk about damn any damn thing you guys want.
I'm dead serious about this. Like I said, I'm learning
as we go. I mean, of course, you know smart
Mark here, he's a pro at this ship. He's holding
my hand. But honestly, man, if y'all want to hear
some ship, talk to me, man, put it out there.
Let's let's let's have some fun with this.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
Love it all right, close us out, pal my goodness.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
I don't like closing us out every week because it's
it's nerve wracking. You put me on the spot and
I'll get nervous and start sweating my arm pits, you
know what I'm saying. But everybody, if you enjoy today's show,
thank you for tuning in. And and this is when

(43:49):
you hit my music and the pire row, the fireworks
and all that cool shit.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
Right, that's great.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
Better I better have fireworks this time, dammit.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
All right, hey, tim Timmy, my brother Timbo Tim.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
I need fireworks and some damn good music brand. Come home.
