seventeen year old skater kid?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Yeah? Do you know? Do you know that back in
the day, Jeremy Padouer was buying up like a dot
com b dot com?

Speaker 5 (05:07):
Are you saying that? He well, he tweeted it. Well
he won. He's told us this a bunch and he
tweeted the whole story.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Mark. Do you know this? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:13):
So yeah, he talked about on the pod once.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Yeah. All right, so basically for those who don't know
the story, I'll do it real fast. He saw that
Elon Musk. He didn't know who Elon Musk was back
in the day. Had just bought it and he offered
him like, I want to say, like double or twenty
percent more? You suld like ten grand or it wasn't
nothing whatever, just said nope and no. Kind of worked

(05:37):
out for Elon. Huh. I know, I guess whether you
like him or not, he's got it. He's got it.
So anyway, Uh, Twitter, x, Instagram at Major de pod TikTok,

Pod Network. Mark and I were talking. We got a
lot of logs coming, so, uh, don't you worry. There'll

tweet the Twitter. Let's stick with Twitter, guys, Like, what
what will it be called? On X? I don't know,
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
It's so stupid.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
I should call it an x poc. Give it the
old Matt Hardy x poc. Yeah, that's find the pin
x pac on. It's horrendous, guys, what are we talking about?
Last week? It was a mystery prize unless Mark edited
in the prize, did he?

Speaker 2 (06:32):
I guess not, so I did edit. I edited in
the prize. Yes, but I but it was with the
Ringside Collectibles. It was with the top ten. Do I
remember what it was?

Speaker 4 (06:41):
No?

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Well, there we got the podcast.

Speaker 1 (06:47):

So I'm sorry I got to give away, guys.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
I just looked back at my textra John Brodie Lee
A negative one, A w wow.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
Some might cost the little, some might cost a lot,
but on the thousand dollar Broski and your figures will
be bought.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Man today, My my, whatnot? It was a disaster, Mark,
You gotta you gotta be in control of this thing.
But I was using my phone. My phone was overheating,
so then I started this is keep in mind, guys,
this is a real story and real statement. He's about
to so, so I put my phone. You've your phone
out in the suns is like the temperature is too hot.
Like That's what was going on. So then I put

(08:04):
it on like an eat right meal and it still happens,
and then I had to put it in my freezer.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Mine gets hot when I streamed the show, but it
never that hot.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
Yeah, it's like you got a problem hot. Would you
have every app in your whole phone open, like if.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
You was watching a video listening to a podcast?

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Shit, I don't think so. We love to eat right.
Check it out Major Fitness Challenge. Best way to get
in shape is by eating right. Just eat right baby,
simple as that. Major Bendies use the hashtag Major Bendy's.
If we talk about your post on air, we'll give
you an exclusive Major Bendy's trading card. This one comes

(08:43):
from Cee Jack's four to zero six one seven Major
Bendy's Go to Disney and it's a picture of a
bunch of Major Bendies at Disney.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
We got here, we got with they'll be paid for everything.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Well, uh, Mark's out there because you know marked in
pay hack saws here, Chelsea Swaggle Condat and me and
Brian Mark. Where are you? I got Maybe you're taking
the picture Mark?

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Yeah That's what I'm doing.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Yeah yeah, so pre damn cool man. So I have
a lot approaches. I have a lot of stuff. I
have a lot a lot of stuff. I got this
in the mail. It's not approach. I got this in
the mail from Powertown. It is my soft goods robe
from my upcoming two pack with Brian available pre order now.

(09:27):
I literally had to take my robe, put on the
floor and compare, just to make some corrections, some changes
I have stayed it before. I am not a soft
goods guy. I fucking hate soft goods, but I think
this is the best soft goods ever made in wrestling.
Whoa geez, but I still hate soft goods. Let me

(09:48):
I do wish a robe for some reason. A robe.

Speaker 5 (09:51):
I don't mind the occasional T shirt robe. I don't
mind pants or something like that, like jeans. No, that's
like a doll. You guys are really gonna love this.
It's really really cool. We post a picture in videos
on the social media. It's very impressive.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Hopefully these figures, you know, I know they're gonna live
up to the hype, but hopefully you guys buy enough
of them because I want I don't want this to
be like a fomo situation, like I want everyone to
get you have a whole month basically to order them.
Yeah so because look at the people who doubted and
maybe because of what we were saying about the company, but

(10:27):
doubting series one and how hard they are to get
now right, Yeah, so Powertown has proved they're the real deal. So, uh,
make sure you pre order the Matt and Brian today.

Speaker 5 (10:39):
Hook is here, Baby Ringside Collectibles got this today. It's
like pretty uncanny if you're watching at home, our patreons. Uh,
two heads, multiple hands. I don't know what else you
could really want for a debut figure. It's the likeness
is unbelievable. So a little too tall, maybe a little

(11:00):
little too tall maybe if if we're for getting real nitpicky,
Yeah for sure. But his hair is very large too,
so it's kind of hard to right.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
So that's all you got from the set.

Speaker 5 (11:13):
That's the only one I grabbed this set. I needed
one for my personal coal action. I need one for
the Creative Pro desk, and I need a mint on
card one and a defender for the wall at Creator Pro.
So wow, quite a few you know, Creator Pro alumni
hook first figure.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Definitely.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
I'll get that full set by next week.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
So and that's got to see him punk LGN. It's
got a new thunder rosa, a new Lutre Bros. Is
that the one pack with the eyepatch?

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Right? Yeah? Does he come with the FTW belt? That does?

Speaker 4 (11:42):
Not know?

Speaker 5 (11:43):
I think that whatever Stark is gonna come with it first?

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Yeah, I got it, got it.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
I thought, so okay, but that's not out yet either.
Also side collect wills hot off the shelves Ultimate eighteen
real well, and I have so many thoughts, like it's
an amazing figure, it's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
I just don't understand the choices behind it, you know, what.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Do you mean?

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Like it's not the it's not the definitive Brandy Orton.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
Like he's literally wearing a RK Bro hoodie, like what
like they might not ever be RK Bro again.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
You know.

Speaker 5 (12:21):
I just felt like it was a very odd choice
to not have one head, not have the mustache, and
be different mind blowing. The tights they chose, not exactly, toy.
It's black. You can't even see black. I'm black.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
It looks like it's just plain black.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
Yeah, I mean, even like to my eyes with his
in hand, you it's hard to see it's black.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
I would assume I would assume maybe because the macho
was so intricate in the same set. Great call. Yeah,
maybe hely shit, but still a black. I'm black, come on,
I know so that. Other than that, I mean, it's
got the title. Like I said, it's got three heads alternate,
it is an ultimate, it's a great figure and it
looks great.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
I just feel like there's a lot more on the
bone of the career of Randy Orton.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Right after the santie O Comic Con reveals and this
Randy Orton, I've officially tapped out on being a Mint
Inbox Ultimate collector because I thought these were going to
be like the definitives, right, and when we have an ark, bro,
Randy Orton, we've jumped the shark and I love it. Randy.

(13:29):
Of course, if you would have given me a legend killer,
right man, or like a world champion Randy anything.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
Yeah, I was just gonna ask you which one would
you have wanted.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Me? Personally, I would have preferred like a intercondinal champion
legend killer, but I would have.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
But even like a nine like champion, right. But just
this is not the Ultimates. The crazy thing is that
he has not changed his look or his gear. So
like I feel like with all different heads you could
get like kind of could feed a lot of.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Masters, you know, like when I when I hear Ultimate,
I feel like the ultimate incarnation of that man or woman.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Yeah, but the first one was w CW Ultimate Warrior,
which is.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
The worst no that Yeah, the time we never had
that figure ever period, Right, Yeah, So this orton is
what did it for me. I'm still going to be
a completist as of now. Let's see how crazy it gets,
you know, like, let's see how crazy it gets. But
I don't know, man.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
But you're saying I'm not in box.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
So what I So you know what I've been doing.
Let's say, for instance, like that Warrior, forget that they've
re released it. Forget that for a second. So I
would keep one in box and then for the Warrior,
since he's a legend, I would have one loose. But
before these rules with Randy, I would have just gotten
them in an inbox one and not a loose one. Right.

(14:51):
But so now I'm gonna have a bunch to sell
really because I have so many doubles of the legends.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
So are you are you going to get rid of
them all? Or you just gonna.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
So I'm going to make like a display, which I
can't do now because I'm the real estate. But when
you live, and who knows by the time I get
into that house, I could change her rules.

Speaker 5 (15:11):
But uh, all right, I do want to keep going.
I can bang through a bunch of stuff here. Yeah,
if it's ring, is the ring side stuff or just
random stuff? So yeah, it's gonna allude to my ring
side stuff. So, uh, Tommy Sapienza got me the Target

(15:32):
four pack. I paid him, went to Target anyway, just
by acting that same day and then I found it,
so I just grabbed it, so I'll have to but whatever,
I kee, I got the four pack as well, so
I'm gonna talk about it. I got it. So the Hogan,
I don't even know. I'm keeping this. I mean, the
belt is probably the big difference in.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
The real bro, big fucking green Bro. You got it.
So that was a big deal.

Speaker 5 (15:57):
The Hogan's great, the rock amazing, and I think it
sent me down a rabbit hole of between our talk.
Was it last week and this week? I think every
time they do this, I just got upgrade and get upgrade.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
It sucks.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
It sucks, But I'm giving in, so I'm backtracking and
getting all these greatest hits guys now that I missed.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
By the way, Yeah, uh.

Speaker 5 (16:18):
Becky, the Becky figure is unbelievable. If you guys haven't
seen it, right to my kids for me. For me,
it's not part of my collection. I get my kids.
But I was astonished by how nice it was and
then absolutely gutted. Yes, I did not know, and I
don't know how I missed this, maybe with the flurry
of all the comic kind of stuff. Stone Cold is

(16:42):
from Wrestle Media last year. Yes, I thought it was
like a ninety eight Stone Cold. No, it's like versus
Kevin Owens.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Yes, but it doesn't have the gray beard or anything.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
So now the face looks old face a little.

Speaker 5 (16:58):
And in the back is the real The skull has
the Texas flag at it.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Yeah, it's brutal.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
So I was like, noo, so that's not staying that's
a whatnot item now but still a nice figure, but
just not what I wanted it to be.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
That's a great match.

Speaker 5 (17:14):
No, that's literally not what I'm talking about, Like I'm
just saying it's I thought this was a sick throw back. Also,
not stonmakel from a year ago. Right, That one kind
of crushed me a little bit. I also was able
to grab a Comma, which is like perfect. I mean,
you know, you complete the Nation and it's like pretty
spot on perfect.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
So definitely I must have there.

Speaker 5 (17:35):
And then while I'm going absolutely ridiculous, but I got
the Warrior Ultimate to upgrade, I got the Rock from
series one Gravest Hits, Harley Race from Series two Gravest Hits,
and the Undertaker from Series two grays Hits.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
So and I made a bunch of that Undertaker. You're
gonna display that.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
One the This is like to me, this is like
Ministry like pretty different.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
I display like that Network Spotlight one as the Ministry
Taker with the thing. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (18:05):
But now with the hands and I can do a
better pose.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
I don't know. I'll have to that.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
I'll again, my elite thing is gonna be built and
I'm gonna have to have lay these out on the
floors the floor, separate them between like errors and w
W and w W.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
I mean it's gonna be a crazy I gotta do
that too, you know, thing to kind of makes sense of, Yeah,
so you have more from Ringsider. Is that it? That
was it for mESC. I just want to say thanks
to them.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
Get me caught up to date with a lot of
stuff and uh yeah, man.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
After I record with you guys last week, I still
had more stuff to do in Japan. Had a little
prescott to DT and the next day Steph Dealander and
I went to Tokyo Disney C and Disneyland. I will
say Steph Delander Trooper lasted nine hours. I did like

(19:01):
the full twelve open a clothes and I caught a
couple of things. I got Duffy, the bear who was
the he's like the Mickey Tokyo Disney. I got this
the last time I was there. I might have talked
about the pod. I got it for Chelsea and Chelsea
it was creepy and eventually let the dogs play within.
The dogs destroyed it. So I got Duffy for myself.

(19:24):
This is my Duffy. What a redemption story. And there's
a I'm not gonna bore you guys talk about Tokyo Disneyland.
We have a full vlog coming means at the Lander
at Tokyo disneysee Toyo Disneyland. I will say this splash
Mountain is still here at Disneyland. It was incredible. I
loved it. We also went to Total Con that will

(19:47):
be in the vlog. I talked about that purchase last week.
But also while we were in Japan, we found a
Toys r Us and I had to pick this up.

Speaker 5 (19:57):
This is how did you get that?

Speaker 1 (19:58):
Home, bro? You don't want to know. We want another
bag the thirtieth anniversary. So it's like the throwback Jurassic
Park t Rex is only available at Target, but this
has a Toys r Us sticker on it. It's all in Japan,
like Japanese writing, and like the thirtieth of Jurassic Park.
I had to get this.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
That's pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
It's really cool. And it's just so cool because a
couple of weeks ago on the pod, I got the
real t Rex from like thirty years ago. So this
I will keep me in the package because it has
the Toys r Us logo the Japanese riding thought that
was pretty damn cool. So check out that blog coming
soon to our YouTube channel.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
Yeah, I'm looking forward to the Disney Seed blog for sure.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
Oh yeah, absolutely had some more things. I got these
from Heroes Hideout. These things have been in the works
for years, Like it's the fucking demolition brestl dudes. Yeah
you got them as well?

Speaker 5 (20:56):
Got them too boys. Yeah, I will say this much
bigger than I thought they'd be. Are these pop cases
they're in? Yes, so the exact exact size of a pop.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Yes, the box is the exact size of pop in
pop cases. The box of Ververse similar to pops. I
don't think the package is that great. Looks very like
someone who's like generic, like someone who's like, there's not
that advanced photoshop. Okay, it's clean, it's clean. There's a

(21:29):
lot of potential, I would say, a lot of agel.
Do you want to open these up?

Speaker 5 (21:33):
I'm probably not because I'm not going to be hanging
out to these, but I will open one, go for it.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
So what are you gonna do? You're gonna put this
on your pop shelf?

Speaker 1 (21:42):
No, these are instantly getting sold on. I'm not collecting these.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
What would be the idea around having a knockoff pop?
Just because so now you can have that.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
That's why I just feel like this is a tough
road to travel. But you know what it is, like
they had moves No, no, no, head doesn't that no, it
doesn't move. I will say it's very very detailed. I
wouldn't say it's a knockoff pop because it is way
more detailed.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
Yeah, it's not. And the bodies are way more than
like what a pop would be. It's a cool concept.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (22:21):
I think in order for this to be a success,
they need a big name, and they need more and
more and more and more. So it's a collection, you know,
you can't just have demolition and it's been a long time.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
I will say the actual quality of this is nice.
The paint app is great. I think it does look
like acts uh and Smash as well.

Speaker 5 (22:41):
Yeah, I mean I think they look great in hand
like this and probably signed, you know, fantastic.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
I'm not hating on them one bit personally, They're not
for me, but I think they are a quality product.

Speaker 5 (22:54):
I just thought they need to they need to start
banging these out with all different talents and stuff, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
So it's like like I said, so it's a collection.
I mean, you know, this could be the next fucking
micro brawl if they do it right.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
That's what I'm saying that the potential is there for
something pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
It took fucking what like two years piece to come out.
If it takes a year for another, it's in the water,
like they need the next guy to come out, like
next month, you know. But I like it. The boxes
are a little more durable. They seemed like that to pop.
Well that's not saying much pomp boxes like. But the
only problem I have here with the I see what

(23:30):
they did here with the ropes, so it looks like
like a ring. But now if you sign, it's gonna
sign right over the face. But I listen, quality products
just not necessarily for me. Heroes hide out epic toys.
We thank they sit this over. Listen, there's a cool item.

(23:51):
The more the merrier in the rest of the space,
in my opinion, can we talk about something that that's
in the rest of your space that is not good?
Did we get them? Did we all get them? Uh?
I'm so excited. We're talking the rush collectibles. I got

(24:14):
Larry'sabisco and I got road I didn't even realize I
got the I bought the variant. I bought the variant
of road Block. Oh you did too, all right? No,
I bought both Roadblocks. So guys, I put my hard
earned money into these. I had to check them out.

Speaker 5 (24:31):
Same, I mean, I bought these. I'm doing a live
I'm boxing and Larry'sabisco right roadblock. You haven't held these
in hand yet? No, whoa, Oh my god. I feel
like he's gonna break if I twisted him brood.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
All right, Oh my god. It uh it opened up
like Ahmed?

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Oh no, whoa?

Speaker 1 (25:10):
Oh man, look my two just by twisting the arm. Dude, guys,
you want to do this?

Speaker 3 (25:17):
Oh my bro It's just.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
There's nothing like in there. They'll keep it together. Oh
Jesus Christ.

Speaker 5 (25:27):
Like I'm looking at how it all right?

Speaker 1 (25:32):
They're not.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
It's not even glued shut. That's what I'm saying. There's
nothing there. Yeah, right, And it's not even like a
little like what it doesn't even like there's no clan.
But yeah, alright, awesome item. I did a little pre test.
The karting is the exact size of a Hazmar and
fits in a ring side defender. Okay, but the figures

(25:55):
are glued so high that they hit the thing and
they don't can't get in the ring side defender.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Oh my god, damn it. Listen. I don't want to
shoot on anybody who's trying something I really don't okay,
like am I opinton? All the detailing, like the sculpt
is very soft. It's like there's no there's no definition
to anything. The skin color is weird. And Larry's obisco

(26:21):
on his right boot has one two three four five
six laces on his left boot has one to sixteen
four five six. I lost count, man, is this interesting?
I will say, guys, let's not totally bury it. The
paint app it's clean.

Speaker 5 (26:44):
It's got like I can't explain like what here I
was able to rebuild it like a goddamn lego. I
can't explain like what.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
I mean?

Speaker 5 (26:57):
It doesn't have like a Hasbro shine.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Oh no, my roadblock, the more you move it the more,
oh my god, oh no, that's sick. Bro.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
Well at the next roadblock signing, you'll just have to
get sorry.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
And I guess, alright, let's let's come on, let's let's
try to find some positive in this.

Speaker 5 (27:25):
Did the French Angel and Angel and jonahship as well,
like everything shipping.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
I'm not quite sure about that. I guess the good
thing about these is that like I don't even know
what to try to say, it like you can make
a Larry's bisco in a long time.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
Oh sick, sick, Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
Listen, first attempt. I don't know about At first glance,
the carding looks nice, right.

Speaker 5 (27:59):
It's fine.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Maybe, like actually look at the artwork, right, Like, look
at this roadblock?

Speaker 3 (28:04):
Do you have this is a compliment sandwich here?

Speaker 1 (28:06):
Yeah? No, it's so pixelated.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Oh said, they didn't use a high death pic.

Speaker 5 (28:13):
I think that's like, I don't think that's pixelated. I
think that's like some shitty filter.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Whatever it is. It's not good. Yeah, yeah, I don't
think that's pixelated.

Speaker 5 (28:25):
Yeah, this is a this is concerning I would say.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
I mean, listen, I feel bad hating on these, but
you literally just saw we were moving them. They fucking broke. Uh,
maybe you're not supposed to move them. I don't know
what I'm gonna say, Like.

Speaker 5 (28:46):
I would not suggest opening them if if there's something
you truly want to.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
I will say they look nicer in the package than out.

Speaker 5 (28:53):
That's that's a fact.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
You know. Oh, by the way, this this thing that
roadblock comes with is indeed a roadblock.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
What's that thing called?

Speaker 5 (29:02):
What is that you know? That blocks the roads?

Speaker 1 (29:06):
The skin is just the color of the skin is
so weird.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
Because definitely not it's definitely yeah, it's definitely not injected.
So it's got a funny look to it.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Yeah. I mean, listen, I don't have to say I
do some way.

Speaker 5 (29:25):
If you don't have anything nice to say, it's better
to say nothing at all.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Move on. I I don't know both of them. Both
the years exploded, both of my exploded. You saw me
playing with I mean, you didn't play with it. You
moved to arm and mind did too.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
I do still kind of want to roadblock just for
the has but.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
The Rochester Roadblock.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
Well, I got something cool, guys. Shall I show you that?

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Sure? Okay, all right?

Speaker 3 (29:55):
Not the Pro Wrestling crate.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
I got the A W crate O company. Man, you
are Mark.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
I opened it today in silver linings, so I know
what's in here. But I wanted to show you guys,
Uh this, Brian you might want. We got a MGF shirt.
I think it's wearable, one of the first MGF shirts
that's wearable kiss.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
The history of shirts. They're always pretty rough because he.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
Doesn't he doesn't really care about him.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
He doesn't like to have input.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
It's like other people that make it if he actually
cared like they would be great.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Marshalts.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
The ones that he does care about are great. This
one's pretty cool. Kiss the ring, got his ring in
his hand.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
This is a great shirt.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
I am going to give this to Johnny Clash.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
Oh stay, I would assume. Oh that is a sick shirt.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Right that is a man red white and blue kind
of it says.

Speaker 5 (30:45):
On it you could trick somebody to think. And that's vintage.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
It's it looks like it feels like a vinted shirt.
We got a hater hits hard pin. We have Hollywood
Jack Perry jungle boy Jack Perry had.

Speaker 5 (31:02):
Is that his first micro browler?

Speaker 2 (31:04):
I don't remember having one. It's got obviously got the
aw backing the best part of the box. Brian oh
Shit acclaimed sex socks.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
Oh man, I might, I might be in the hunt
for those.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
And these are like those real deal, like I think
odd socks or whatever. They're like really good thick socks.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Wow, these are great. Yeah, it might it might be
in the market for those.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
We got a and this is cool too. We got
a Den Boys flag.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
And I don't know where they dug this up. This
is interesting, but This is a match poster, like a
vintage mass poster from the Mimosa Mayhem Matt.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
They just make those like that's not like vintage, But yeah,
that's cool.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
Chris Jericho Versus, which was the week after I sort
of left aw three cm punk stickers, different sort of designs.
And then last, but not least.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
Your good friend of mine Powerhouse Hot.

Speaker 5 (32:12):
Is that not signed?

Speaker 3 (32:14):
Get signed in the middle? He signed it like on
his shirt.

Speaker 5 (32:16):
Oh yeah, Like, dude, that's not signed, Pal, that's a
Brosky autography.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Can't be doing that. White.

Speaker 5 (32:21):
Is there for a reason your pen pops Pal, I'll
let him know. Broski does the same thing. Drives me nuts?

Speaker 3 (32:28):
All right, pretty cool crate there for me.

Speaker 1 (32:29):
You go to sign that picture of the same exact way.
It's like he signs his body and not like the
outsides you can see his things. Oh yeah, I don't
like that.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
I'm gonna sell some of this stuff, but I will
be keeping a lot of this stuff.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
A couple more things. I got rapid Fire building my
American Gladias collection. I got gem and I got Gemini.
I'm almost done getting the whole entire set. I'm still
waiting on the Laser two pack. Have not gotten that.
I had an order from overseas. We'll be talking about
this in a couple of weeks. I got Dick Tracy

(33:05):
did break down again. I broke down. I got Dick Tracy,
Baby Coppers and Gangster's great fucking figure Man. I had
to get it.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
So I've had that mint on card since we started
this podcast. I've had that mint on card three times.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Really.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
I got Indiana Jones Adventure series like the Old Man
Indiana Jones from the movie that Just Bombed, which I'm
very doubt about it. Yeah, did you finally at least
see the movie? I saw it opening night. Yeah, I
loved it. It just I don't know, just it's for
the same reason that people say like, oh the economy's

(33:44):
down or blah blah blah. Like people will be like, oh, well,
people don't go to the movies anymore. Well they saw Barbie,
you know, say, like they go, They're still seeing Barbie man,
They're going, you know, they just gotta gotta make them
want to go. So I think, you know, all the
other even that that that Crystal Skull one, which I
didn't like, they all had like Spielberg behind it George

(34:06):
Lucas Harris. Before this one just had Harrison Ford. I
think it hurt the buzz, the buzz and also people know, Hey,
I can get on Disney Plus in like fucking two months.

Speaker 5 (34:16):
I mean, you can stream anything in less than two months.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
I mean, I mean, to be totally honest, I've said
this before. I do not like going to the movies anymore.
I will wait unless it's like, unless it's Star Wars,
I I can wait.

Speaker 5 (34:30):
I think I'm gonna take McKenzie to Bari tomorrow. Actually,
a couple of more things that I got. Chelsea picked
these up for me at Cala Khan. She got me
the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the three got those.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
I ordered that in the Flash Do you have any
idea when those they're sending? If you ordered them on
the Flash Show? Did you order one online? Brosky Like,
am I waiting months? Or am I getting that soon?

Speaker 1 (34:58):
I don't know. And then I also got the pizza
box that has Keno inside.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
Oh damn, I didn't know that's what he comes in.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
Yeah, look at at the for comic Eye, because you know,
look at that on the pizza bike mark.

Speaker 5 (35:12):
You don't have that stuff.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
I bought it, but it's it's not here yet.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
About both of them, very very cool. Got that. I
got one last thing unless you guys got something, I'll
go last last, but a guys diamond select set these
over to me. I got the CM punk statue.

Speaker 5 (35:32):
Oh ship, I never see I haven't seen that mint
Minton box. It's fucking pretty damn cool. Perfect signing window.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Oh man, that would be like a beautiful piece. And
then also this one is a real piece of art.
The John Moxley. Look at that, it's so details. Got
the title, He's like stepping over a guardrail. That's really cool.

Speaker 5 (35:55):
These are like I think I'm a fan of these
now that i'm seeing I'm finished.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
It's really cool. Wow. So I'm going to be giving
both of these away Monday on whatnot?

Speaker 3 (36:06):
Oh nice?

Speaker 5 (36:07):
Whoa look at that breaking news, holy shit news.

Speaker 1 (36:12):
Tell all your friends you'll have a chance to be
getting both. Not someone winning one, someone win both?

Speaker 5 (36:17):
Oh one one giveaway, one giveaway two figures nice dude
statues statues pal.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Real quick before you go, Brian, I got I mentioned this.
I think last week I'm doing an entire office revamp.
I got all the supplies in guys. I don't know
if this is a new thing, but I went to Ikea.
I just really wanted a price check, like, you know,
some of the displays, see if maybe if they added
some new displays. But I was kind of looking for Detolls.

(36:48):
I go to the detol page. It's we've mentioned this.
Double the fucking price. It's one hundred and twenty dollars.
It used to be about sixty. Insane, so whatever. So
I'm like, ah, let's see what happens.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
I put them.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
I put them in the cart, five of them. I
need five Detolls, guys. Put them in the cart.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
It says are they extinct? They're they're finishing up.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
Yeah, they're on their way out.

Speaker 5 (37:12):
What because they want you to get the new thing?
There's I watched this YouTube video where they're comparing them
a new product that's like very very similar.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
Uh So I put the five Detalls in the cart
and then it says delivery available. The closest Ikia to
me is an hour and a half. Right, yeah, So
I don't know. Somehow I think they it's like one
of those kind of like an Uber Eats delivery thing,
you know, the Ikia will send it to a certain

(37:43):
location and then like people can go. If you have
a truck, you can pick it up. So like literally
like a dad and his kid in a in a
U haul type of truck delivered it to me. But
got five detolls, got a brand new uh electric stand
up desk. I got a treadmill for under my desk.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
What. Oh yeah Mark told me about this.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
Yeah, I'm good.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
So the idea is when I'm editing or streaming or
playing video games or whatever, I can literally I can
walk on the tread He does that. Oh yeah, John
has that, but he hasn't decorated and shipped on it.
He doesn't walk on that.

Speaker 1 (38:18):
Oh he is.

Speaker 5 (38:18):
John is a real treadmill. You're you're putting it like
under your.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
Yeah, it's a treadmill, Matt. That kind of goes under
your desk. Yeah, you can like move it out and
put it back in.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
I got a I.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
Got all new lights for the detolls. I got a
new rug. I'm taking all this shit out. Yeah it's
gonna be. I'm gonna actually try to record it and
do a little vlog ski on.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
It before we get to Brian. You guys, just get
a text I sent you someone in our Facebook group, which,
by the way, you can get if what the heck right,
Eric Malave, anyone's seen this before? Camera call seeing it?
Say Brodie Lee Jazzuar's twenty twenty two New York Toy

(38:58):
Fair exclusive, I've never seen this before.

Speaker 5 (39:01):
Well, and we wouldn't. I'm a completeist, and we would
know about this. What the hell?

Speaker 3 (39:05):
Nine says nineteen of two point fifty.

Speaker 5 (39:08):
They weren't even at New York Toy Fair. Oh, toy Fair.
I'm thinking of Comic Con.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
Pretty wild, huh. I'm going have to do some snooping.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
Then sticker looks a little it.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
Looks a little fake fake, right, I don't think so.
And that single top is unique as well.

Speaker 5 (39:30):
Correct, Yeah, the figure looks different, but I mean people can.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
Huh, we'll find out. I think it's a weird thing
for someone to customize same, but people do weird stuff.
I see. Brian already texted that I went right to
the source source. All right, Brian, what was that last
thing you got?

Speaker 5 (39:51):
Well real quick before I finished up the wrestling figure encyclopedia,
I got that as well. Fuck for big heel, big heel,
our boy, dude, I was not expecting like a high
school textbook, like insane. Uh you know, full color list
of like everything you ever think of. Like, very very

(40:11):
cool item. Plus a Tires major Bendy is on the front,
Matt Super seven on the back. Can't beat it, man,
that's awesome, very very beautiful, classy item. I'm not I
assumed I would just get that and plug it and
maybe whatnot. But I will be keeping that fake. So
thank you man, very great item. I love that.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
All right?

Speaker 5 (40:33):
Are you ready, boys? I'm ready bound down to the motherfucking.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
Master.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
What the f it is? A signed bart Gun has.

Speaker 1 (40:51):
Bro green card, bart Gun has autographed blue paint pen
brand spanking new.

Speaker 5 (41:03):
The lengths that I went to to get this. I
can't go into full detail because they don't want others
to do what I did, but had a big assist
from a major mark that you both know uncle works
with Bart at his shoot job. Asked if it was okay,

(41:25):
I with a prayer packaged this thing up, full instructions,
paint pen, explaining everything got it done with us, you know,
with the return sticker on there too. So all I
do is do that and it's back. It's in my possession.
It's holy mint. This can be no hiccups, no damage.
And I officially have every single living member of w

(41:48):
F has wow bro signed.

Speaker 3 (41:52):
Come on, holy shit, Jay George. When did we start
this collection?

Speaker 1 (42:00):
Man?

Speaker 3 (42:00):
Like when we were we first? When did you first
start talking about it on the podcast?

Speaker 5 (42:04):
It would have to be like summer twenty twenty because
I blacked out in black Eye, browned out that Swaggles
Indie and I bought that one through three kid, and
I woke up and I want it. But I had
already had like assigned Owen and assigned Taker or whatever
I want to say that I was dabbling and then
I just full in. So three plus years later.

Speaker 1 (42:30):
You did it, man, that's incredible. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (42:32):
So now amongst I mean, the amount of deceased guys
I have is pretty wild too.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
But so who are you missing?

Speaker 1 (42:39):
Now?

Speaker 3 (42:40):
I can tell you which figures too. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (42:43):
I keep a god damn list of my phone in case,
like anything goes down, I need Andre, which I feel
like I've seen once before. Yeah, and it was like
in a ballpoint pen. I mean, you take what you
can get in a situation like that boss Man series one,
Macho one, Rick Rude one never seen the recruit ever
by the way, Warrior U series one, as well Series two,

(43:05):
Dusty Series two, Macho King Series two, Warrior, Series three,
boss Man Series three, Macho Man Series three, Perfect Tornado Warrior.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
There's gotta be a lot of Dusties out there, right.

Speaker 5 (43:20):
There's not that it's crazy because that was always a
rare figure. It was never like plentiful, and then he
didn't really sign that much.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (43:28):
Uh, skip from three all the way to eight now
Bam bam bigelow which they flowed around. There's sometimes that.
There's I've seen ones that just astronomical prices and things
like that, mister Perfect number two from series eight and Yokozuna,
who's another one. I've seen the same thing, astronomical prices
or it says like two whoever it is, and right,

(43:49):
the right situation has come along. Series ten Giant Gonzales.
Never seen it, yeah, and never ever. Series eleven, Crush
number two. I don't think I've ever seen a Crush
two signed. I have a Crush one signed Ludwig. Never
seen it, Oh my god, don't know if it exists.
Yoka's on the number two. I don't know if I've
ever seen a Yoko too, signed, uh, and then technically

(44:12):
I need Demolition signed by Crush and Smash. I have
one hanging up signed just by Smash, just so it looks,
you know, complete on my wall.

Speaker 1 (44:19):
So now pretty insane, all things consisted, that's wild. Now
let's say you never are able to get those other ones?
Would you ever get placeholders of the mint On card?
I already do.

Speaker 5 (44:29):
When I see a good deal or a nice minty one,
I get it. So I probably ow my wall. Maybe
six of those figures I just mentioned. I have like
six of them hanging right. I'd really the three green
cards I would love to buy because, like I said,
I've never seen a Crush two signed. I've never seen
a Yoko and I've never seen a h Ludwig. So
might as well just get them and complete the set.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
You know, plan was it to hang all your Hasbros
on the wall? And I mean, I mean the plan
is to someday have every Hasbro on the wall.

Speaker 1 (44:56):
Yes, Now what is signed? What if you saw signed
Dusty but it was a summer Slam card I've seen.

Speaker 5 (45:05):
I just uh, I don't have one Summer Slim card. Yeah,
so I don't want I don't I don't have one
fire Okay for those that don't know, I don't have
one Summer Slam carding. I don't have one fire card.
These are all American. I mean, I've really been strict
to my rules.

Speaker 1 (45:19):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (45:20):
And besides that, Macho I showed you last week with
the autograph on the backside. Everything else is you know
right there play in his day.

Speaker 1 (45:29):
Well that is fun.

Speaker 5 (45:32):
A huge thank you to uh my buddy to helped
me out with that, because that's even Billy Gunn himself
was trying to help me and was like it was
leading to nowhere.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
So I just heard uh j r. He just did
like the for all in his podcasts, Bart Gunn got
he needed a bone cruncher like brawl for all. Oh yeah, no,
right at screwed.

Speaker 2 (45:59):
Oh Brian, I hope you have an insurance policy on
your house man, because the value of that, you know,
it's almost priceless at this.

Speaker 1 (46:05):
Pretty collectible's insurance company like I have. I know, I
need to like grow up and do that, you do.
I just paid my billing today. Actually, I got a
little text from Jeremy. What's the update here? Do they
have an update? Oh boy, where did you get that picture?

(46:27):
It's in our Facebook group. Yeah, this is interesting, interesting,
all right? Well up next is all right? So, just
got a text from Jeremy for Dower. We were incorrect.
It is the same figure as the San Diego comic con.

(46:51):
It is it is. I guess we're not used to
it because where U said that slip cover.

Speaker 5 (46:56):
You know, even I still remember seeing it. That's sticker. Oh,
because that's out the sticker. That's not the sticker.

Speaker 1 (47:02):
Well, I can I'm not going to read you all
these exact texts, but I will say Jeremy Pidauer confirmed
it's real.

Speaker 3 (47:10):
So wild like there's two hundred and fifty of those.

Speaker 1 (47:16):
I can't confirm that, but he's confirmed that this particular
one is real. I can't. I'm not going to read
the text. It's not my bit, not really personal texts.
It's yeah, it's real, but it's not. How's it not
Because it's not. It's not meant to be in the
hands of its never been. It's never been distributed to

(47:36):
a Consumer's what I'm trying to say. So something fishy
went down, Yeah, somebody that even somebody's at the even
even all right, all.

Speaker 3 (47:46):
Right, Major mark purchases of the Week anything good.

Speaker 2 (47:48):
This is insane, guys, Jamie will.

Speaker 5 (47:51):
What a sign Bart gunn has bro insane?

Speaker 2 (47:54):
Even more insane, Jamie Willis says, me and some friends
invested in five new Joey Knight variants from the Gelatoids,
as well as our figures in customer's hands. Last week,
Joey sent all the invested in this one of fifteen

(48:15):
quote unquote guys, naked Joey variant for our collection.

Speaker 3 (48:21):
Yes, it's real.

Speaker 2 (48:22):
Great touch in him signing each of them with a
personal message naked. You could invest, you know, one of fifteen.
This is a Joey Knight. Naked Joey Knight. Show me
a picture is not real, it's in the thing. Let
me scroll up here. I'll find this picture here. It

(48:43):
is got it naked Joey Knight figure. It's not quite naked,
so you'll see. I'll show you. It's coming to you
right now. While it's coming. I will read the next
one when it comes.

Speaker 3 (48:59):
It comes. Jason Holbrook, It.

Speaker 1 (49:06):
Is real, guys.

Speaker 3 (49:09):
It's a contributor edition.

Speaker 1 (49:11):
Naked Major Bendy's coming soon. Oh my god, limited to fifteen.
The night fever, Holy shit, Oh I'll have nightmare. It's
like this fucking figure.

Speaker 3 (49:27):
Naked Joey Knight.

Speaker 2 (49:29):
Jason Holbrook finally got my grail piece this week. One
of the matches that got me into wrestling was the
Mankind versus Undertaker Helen to Cell. As soon as the
new Defining Moments came out, I knew I had to
get it signed. I was so excited when Foley was
announced for Galaxy Con this past weekend and I was
able to go for one day and make this happen.
Not only did he auto, but he added Hell in

(49:50):
a Cell ninety eight and talked about how special this
match was. My day couldn't have been better. Pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (49:56):
That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (49:57):
By the way, somebody posted in the group today about
how they I love to go through. If you don't know, guys,
every week on Sunday or Monday, I post a little post.
I say, share your purchases of the week. And you know,
on an average we get eighty submissions, sometimes one hundred.
So there is so many cool things and I picked six.

(50:21):
So somebody posted in the group today. I love him,
he said, Am I the only one that loves scrolling
through the Purchase of the week thing to see all
the crazy buys? And I wrote under him, I hope
people do that. I want that's like, I think that's
one of the It's one of the coolest posts of
the week.

Speaker 1 (50:39):
Yeah. When I see it, I go through it.

Speaker 2 (50:41):
Obviously, people you know, sometimes complain about some of the
posts in the group, you know, wrestling opinions or whatever
the hell This is I think a top notch thing.
What are we all collecting? What are the cool things?
What are the grail things we're getting? If there's nothing
you look at in the group, this is the thing,
all right. Joe Jannick says, huge Simpsons fan. My whole life,

(51:02):
been collecting World of Springfield since college. Always wanted the
main Street playset. It's a good deal on eBay. Bought
it right away. I love having it set up on
top of my detail filled with other figures. Excited to
finish collecting the last few figures in the line. I
need pretty cool giant collection.

Speaker 5 (51:18):
I want to look that up. I think I know
what it looks like. I want to see it.

Speaker 2 (51:22):
Jake Wyatt he's back. He sold literally every one of
his toys and he is back.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
What shit?

Speaker 2 (51:31):
Yeah, you guys didn't know that. Yeah, when he moved
and he sold everything big Boy Fake Purchase. Decided to
start collecting hot toys. One of six scale Batman figures,
so I picked up this Batman Forever val kilm Or figure.
The details are so realistic. This is one of, if
not the nicest, high quality figures I have held. With

(51:52):
all the accessories and poses, it is pretty incredible. I
also snagged a Batman Begins Christian Bale figure a few
days ago, which will be arriving shortly. Really looking forward
to having an incarnation of every Batman from all the films.
Pretty cool. Hot toys are great.

Speaker 1 (52:04):
Man, and that's a fun little collection. That's fun.

Speaker 3 (52:08):
Jason Moore.

Speaker 2 (52:08):
I used my bonus from work to take my kids
on at Disney Cruise to celebrate their birthdays. It was
seven days on the Disney Magic. We went to Kazumel,
swam with dolphins, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and Castaway Say Castaway k.
The kids must have thanked me ten times a day
and said it was the most amazing. Big Shdas, I

(52:29):
think I would love to do this. You've never done one, Broski.

Speaker 1 (52:31):
I want to do it.

Speaker 5 (52:32):
After doing Jacko Cruise and my wife liked it, and
I liked it, and we've done Disney. I feel like
it will be a little, perfect little thing.

Speaker 3 (52:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (52:40):
For the Meyers squad.

Speaker 2 (52:42):
Chris Evan Hayner, I have added some real special pieces
of my Ninja Turtles coming out of their Shells collection
this week. Yes, I got an original promo photo from
the tour, a merchandise Donatello headband, and this. This is
an original flyer from the show handed out at Radio
City Music Hall, where the tour began and the pay
per view aired from. Someone got this in nineteen ninety

(53:06):
and I'm very glad it's now safe and sound with me,
It's pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (53:09):
That's cool, Kyle Peterson.

Speaker 2 (53:10):
One of the busiest times of the year for collectors,
with all the San Diego Comic Con exclusives, new Target,
Walmart resets with new figures, and a whole lot more
Brothers one one hundred and eighteen figures through the door
this week alone. An expensive, overwhelming time.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
Of the year. Oh my gosh.

Speaker 3 (53:28):
I was just talking to somebody recently about.

Speaker 5 (53:30):
Overwhelmed with the couple greatest hits and legends I had
opened to it.

Speaker 2 (53:34):
I know That's what I'm saying, Like, I can't imagine
I can't imagine he does a video on everyone. I
mean it's like it's like a it's like a full
time job. He's got like two jobs.

Speaker 1 (53:46):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (53:47):
Chris go Cock grow Cock Guys with a platinam Max
concert in Boston and was able to grab the setlist
from the show. Also added Max's autograph to the cap
ring Nice last.

Speaker 5 (53:58):
One, Brocock will be a Caloons again.

Speaker 2 (54:00):
Yeah, last one, Broski, I don't know you can explain
this one to us min Nunion Raccoon Onesie. I showed
my wife. I showed my wife the now famous episode
of the Tahoe Raccoon and she thought it would be
if she thought it would be hilarious if we dressed
up as raccoons for pictures with Brosky and STL who

(54:21):
loves raccoons. At BTW, I also got a great interaction
with the indie God before his match. It was it
was awesome time and got to meet some fellow major marks.
So this brother wore a raccoon suit to the thing.
You didn't even tell us.

Speaker 1 (54:35):
Yeah he did. BTW was an awesome It's one of
those like sometimes you do this promotions, these shows, You're like,
what is this that never heard this place. Is it
gonna be good? It was awesome. I made Achille on
merge like. The fans were awesome. I would love to
go back. Is in California and Newark, California, I believe. Yep,
awesome time. Chris Masters is fucking great. Yeah, so many

(54:58):
major marks suit. We don't really they do a lot
of West Coast stuff. So people had met for the
first time. It was a great, great night.

Speaker 3 (55:03):
That's very cool.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
And this guy wore a raccoon onesie to the thing.
I bet you Other wrestling fans were like, what is
this car?

Speaker 5 (55:10):
Couldn't get like a promo photo shot with him or something,
put him in a headlock or something.

Speaker 1 (55:14):
I don't do headlocks to fans.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
He didn't post a picture of him in it. The
picture he put in was just it hanging on the wall.

Speaker 1 (55:20):
So there is definitely a picture of all of us
where he's wearing it.

Speaker 3 (55:24):
Pretty sure. All right, that's what sax in.

Speaker 1 (55:27):
There, and thank you for that. Loss is smart Marks Turley.
All right, guys, we're bringing back a segment for one
week only. Up next, the Incarnation of Domination. Incarnation of Domination.

(55:50):
All right, welcome on to the Incarnation of Domination for
bringing the segment back for this special week. Unfortunately, Kevin
Sullivan passed away this week. We thought it'd be a
perfect time through the Incarnation of Domination covering his figures.
I feel like we might have covered him before, but
there's definitely some new stuff with the heels and faces
out there.

Speaker 5 (56:11):
I mean went out with a bang, that's for sure.
So let's get into it. Let's celebrate the life and
figure career of Kevin Sullivan.

Speaker 1 (56:20):
So first up is his WCW original San Francisco toy
maker Kevin Salvans. By the way, he did the opening
to our history of Original Sans toy Maker, Brian, how
did you get that? I don't recall ever meeting Kevin Salton.
How did you get that done? So?

Speaker 5 (56:37):
I met Kevin Sullivan the first time I was fired
at like a wrestle con in passing and it happened
to be with Colt Cabana, and Cavana was like, he
said something along the lines of like maybe one of
the most shocking, like art of wrestling kind of relationships
I ever made. He's like he's like the sweetest He's

(56:58):
like I feel like he's like my grandpa. He's like
this old man. I was like, oh, wow, that's cool,
and he kind of just said hello, and it was brief,
but for some reason that stuck in my head. And
then when we were looking for someone to do that
open and obviously it has to be someone who's in
the line, and I thought there was I'm like, Capana
has like a relationship with Kevin Selvan' so I hit
him up, asked for his number, and then just cold

(57:18):
texted of and then we eventually got on the phone
a couple of times because I really had to.

Speaker 1 (57:21):
He didn't really quite understand what I.

Speaker 5 (57:23):
Was asking of him, but we got on the phone
and I explained, and he couldn't have been cooler about
the whole thing, and eventually got that done for us
because we knew through research purposes that he was friends
with Robbie Kanoff, who was instrumental behind the toymaker line.
So I thought it was a very fitting thing, and
like I said, he couldn't have been cooler about doing it.

Speaker 1 (57:43):
Dare I say? Honored? And then.

Speaker 5 (57:46):
Fast forward a couple of months from there, his Heels
and Faces had come out and I wanted to get
that signed and I was literally home on a Sunday randomly,
and he was up the road at Kane S. And
I was like, you know what I'm gonna And then
normally I just dropped my stuff off at k and S.
And I'm glad that for once I didn't do that.
I just went, you know, I'm gonna go. You know,

(58:07):
I never I wanted to say thank you for doing
the video and meet him in person and get it signed.

Speaker 1 (58:12):
And I got him and had him sign.

Speaker 5 (58:13):
I took a picture with them, and it was just
a great interaction. It's said that that feels like it was.
It was only a couple of months ago and he's
gone or anything. Pretty sad, but I'm grateful that I
was able to say thank you, we meet him and
take a picture and stuff.

Speaker 1 (58:25):
So yeah, like I said, I don't think I ever
met him. If I did, it was kind of like
an impassing deal. I did speak to him on the
phone once. Like last year, there was this wrestling promotion
that was going to start up and Kevin Sullivan was
gonna be the booker man like he was explained to me,
like my creative but it never actually happened. Promotions ever
took off, but he was like picturing me my creative

(58:48):
and it was like it was just so fascinating listened
to him because he's such a brilliant mind in the
business course. But yeah, I knew he was sick, but
I didn't realize it was I guess that serious. It
just kind of I guess to me, it looked like
happened a nowhere. But same, Yeah, this was sick for
a while and definitely unfortunate. Everyone's been saying some great
things about him.

Speaker 5 (59:07):
Yeah he was not that it was like great that
he passed, but it was great that, like there was
a lot of awesome stories of you were on social
media about the people that that he impacted or you know,
became friends with him and stuff. I appreciated all that information,
and you know, hearing all those stories, that's all for sure.

Speaker 2 (59:26):
Hey, let's I got the the open. Let's play that
right here. All right, here we go, boom and.

Speaker 1 (59:43):
The wrong. I'm Kevin Sullivans, the test Master, and I'm
here for an episode of w c W San Francisco Toy.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
Bankers, and let me tell you something. I'm talking about it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:06):
Let's just David Katy too late place probably Kate off,
everything is.

Speaker 3 (01:00:15):
Pretty cool.

Speaker 5 (01:00:16):
Yeah, that was a lot of explaining in a couple
of takes, by the way.

Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
And I love that he did it right By the
dryer that was going.

Speaker 5 (01:00:26):
Like the way Combana described just the sweetest, like grandpa
kind of type of guy. The other with kevin'sassytory. I
also was daring this crazy memory. I don't know if
I've ever talked about, but I remember in fourth grade,
I have a friend of this kid named Eric Lacursey
who just moved to my town, and uh, I can't
remember he brought him into school or it was one
time when I went to his house. He had this
giant like shipment of like W C W merch and

(01:00:48):
I was like, what Ellen. He was explaining that like
Kevin lived, Kevin Sullivan lived in Florida where his grandparents
lived or maybe his dad, and he lived with his
stepdad something, and he had all this stuff. I remember
he said Kevin Salvan sent it to him and he
had talked to Kevin Soll of it on the phone,
and Weber being like, wow, this is like surreal to me,
so awesome, dude.

Speaker 1 (01:01:07):
That first figure in the Black Trunks, I remember when
that comes out I don't know if you have this memory, Brian.
I have the memory of it not coming out with
the rest of the set, like him and Jimmy Hart
come later.

Speaker 5 (01:01:17):
I don't have that, but I what I think if
I had a guess, and what I think is that
they did. Jimmy Hart and Kevin's Albim were short packed. Okay,
maybe they are out, They're just not as easy to find.
That's the way I kind of recall it could be.

Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
And he doesn't. He's not in his classic task Master outfit,
which is a little odd to me because I don't
even remember him like wearing his black trunks for a
long enough period where they can make a figure. Obviously
he did. No, he did in like ninety four ninety
five WW for sure. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:01:45):
And I also like that photo is the reference holder
of the figure because he's doing well, he's doing the squint.
He only has one eye open, which I always that's
like the one thing I think of when I think
of that figure, like his one eye open.

Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
So his next figure, well, actually this is how it was.
It was shown in promotional stuff with with red trunks.
This figure is actually popped up. We covered it.

Speaker 5 (01:02:10):
We covered it a couple of years ago there a
bunch of times.

Speaker 1 (01:02:12):
Yeah, so there it is with it's autographed by Kevin Sullivan.
I never pulled the trigger on it. Not that I
don't regret not pulling the trigger on it, but just
wasn't enough meat on the bone for me to drop
that kind of money out.

Speaker 5 (01:02:23):
That makes me think Robbie Kanoff gave him like a
prototype and he signed it and gave it away or
sold it.

Speaker 1 (01:02:28):
Something like that happened for sure. Then he has the
Series two which is like a purplish blue mark. Probably
thinks it's in green because color Blind.

Speaker 3 (01:02:38):
Sam Straight Bullets Fly my Way got him.

Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
But yeah, I mean there's really nothing to this one.
Like this is one like I don't even have in
my collection because I'm not doing I'm only doing one
of each guy unless it was like a major outfit change.
To me, this is not a major outfit change. I
have the black trunks. I can see it from here
in my case. Yeah, so it's it's a nice figure,
but kind of not very toys Series two besides, like

(01:03:04):
Macho was just a bunch of repains anyway, So yeah,
that's what it is. And then we got this this one,
comes way later. But I had to get this. I
didn't have it as a kid, but I have it
now where he's kind of painted like the task Master,
like no single.

Speaker 5 (01:03:19):
It, which even the packaging says the task Master. It
doesn't think Kevin solve it?

Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
Right? So do you have this for your collection, Brian?

Speaker 5 (01:03:27):
I don't because, like you said, they keep one of each,
and to me, the black it's just more sentimental to
me from my childhood because that's what I hadn't played with.

Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
Now, Mark, do you collect any of these? Do you
have any of these in your collection?

Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
None? Not a single one. And after we did the episode.

Speaker 2 (01:03:42):
I thought about it, but wow, oh yeah, you're right.
I do have all the flayergics. I even I even
have it on card, the rare one.

Speaker 1 (01:03:49):
Oh yeah, all right, So this I believe, the one
that we're just talking about this on screen. I in
my mind it comes out after what we're about to
talk about.

Speaker 5 (01:03:59):
Bro that this one might come out like ninety eight.

Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
Right, Like it's totally like what's going on here? Yeah?
But next up is the vibrating the task This is
how I remember Kevin solving.

Speaker 5 (01:04:12):
Yes, this is peak Nitro early.

Speaker 1 (01:04:16):
Kevin.

Speaker 5 (01:04:16):
You remember h vibrating constantly. Yeah, peak Nitro starting Kevin Solvent,
what he wore and what he looked like. My problem
with this is in the same set as the Giant
in there the same height yea, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
Well all the height even when you're a little kid.
That's tough. We've talked about as many times these figures suck.
You're supposed to like press the button so they vibrate.
It gets each other. It's weird to begin with, but
then it just makes the paint scratch off on each other,
so they're like instantly fucked up, Big Show said, and
this is also in an early vlog that Robbie Kanoff said.

(01:04:50):
They're supposed to be shaking with anger, like like Knick,
he's shaking in nervousness though it's different, damn. So he
doesn't get a figure for quite some time after that,
and then it's the Jack's Classic Superstars. Kevin Sullivan just cool.
He's got the robe, this plain generic microphone, but soft

(01:05:11):
goods Robe and Jeremy you know, listen, we always give
him credit, but he deserves more. Like he got a
lot of names. And this is before like nowadays. If
this would be tell Kevin would have to be under
ww Legends deal to get the figure.

Speaker 5 (01:05:25):
Yeah, and thought I thought this was like a little hidden,
underrated gem late in the classic line too, Like this
kind of came out of nowhere, a very nice figure.
It wasn't that easy to come by. And it's actually
pretty rare now too. I want to say, it's not
like it goes for a decent price in the secondary market.

Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
I don't think classic superstars get the love that they deserve.
I certainly don't. I mean, and think about it, they've
been it's been twenty years as the line launched.

Speaker 5 (01:05:51):
Yeah, I mean, maybe it's gonna come around soon though
you never know.

Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
And then he finally gets a figure all these years
and probably his most successful run, you know, right, and
this version of Kevin Sullivan with the painted face, with
the dog collar, the gloves. I love this figure.

Speaker 5 (01:06:14):
Zombie sailor heels and faces. Have an autographed will I
will chairish it now that Kevin is no longer with us.
It's just great so toy add like the chain rules,
the look rules, and like you said this, I think
this is like peek Kevin Sullivan's success as a wrestler.
Obviously he saw a lot of success behind the scenes
in the business.

Speaker 3 (01:06:34):
But true, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 5 (01:06:35):
I think I think has talent.

Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
This is this is it so pretty cool. I couldn't
swore there was going to be a repaint of this,
But I don't know if that's still in the pipeline
or what's going on with it. I didn't hear anything
the first I'm hearing this.

Speaker 3 (01:06:49):
But yeah, there there.

Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
There doesn't go a Halloween season by in my life
that I don't rewatch. Multiple dungeoned dungeon of boom matches
and segments and compilations. Love putting that on in in October.
It's just fun nice.

Speaker 1 (01:07:08):
Wow, Well what would be your your favorite Kevin Sullivan?

Speaker 5 (01:07:13):
Mine has to be the heels and faces because like
I said, I no question. Yeah, went and Madam had
him sign it, took a picture of a nice little
talk with him.

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
It was just a great moment that you know, I'll
appreciate forever. So thanks to that crazy Mine is the vibrator.
I mean, I get it to me when I what
what I grew up on. This is my Kevin Sullivan,
right and this is the only you know, version of
him in that outfit. Like I wish she you know

(01:07:42):
Mattel would make a figure like this absolutely, But for now,
this is my this is my task master.

Speaker 3 (01:07:51):
Really cool, all right, well.

Speaker 1 (01:07:53):
Rest in peace, Kevin Sullivan. Up next is the Q
and A, brought you by Cho Boys. We got a
big week, a staycation if you will, at Disney World.

Speaker 3 (01:08:13):
Oh Zombie Sailor.

Speaker 1 (01:08:19):
Bobby Sailors with his family. Chippetta. Here we are here.

Speaker 5 (01:08:22):
Okay, guys, Zombie bought the lucies, but you're bringing a
different kind of lucies, a couple of loose.

Speaker 1 (01:08:28):
I don't want to Brandy Lucy. That's why I take
the Blue choo. Oh so, Chippetta, there was some room
on this VIP. I'm like doing invite she doing? I
got to invite she. I have to invite she. I
have to I have to do it. And it went down.
His wife packs up, like what not stuff, I have
to do it. She's on the payroll. So I said, Achi,

(01:08:48):
what are you doing Tuesday? He said, I got work.
I said, I want to go to Disney. You want
to come? He said no. I did not continue the
combo and stress that I have this exclusive VIP situation.
I did stiff. I invited to go. He said, he's
got work, that's it. Okay, I didn't.

Speaker 2 (01:09:06):
Yeah, but then you say, if it's a once in
a lifetime opportunity, he might take work off.

Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
I'm not pulling.

Speaker 3 (01:09:13):
I would say the same thing.

Speaker 1 (01:09:16):
What do you mean, like if you.

Speaker 5 (01:09:18):
Like, yeah, he would have my things around?

Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
Yeah, I want someone to come when they don't think
they're getting the total package, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:09:27):
Yeah, but workoff and a real ass job is a
very difficult thing sometimes, and you only have limited times
you can do that.

Speaker 1 (01:09:34):
So when you're thinking, if you don't want to come
when it's just a Disney trip, you're not coming when
it's a VIP.

Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
Yeah, But in his mind, he said, why can't I
just come with them some Saturday and I don't have
to take the day off work. I only have twenty
days I can take off for the whole year, and
that's a good job.

Speaker 1 (01:09:51):
Well, anyway, guys, I'm gonna be popping a lot of
blue shoe at Disney World at the Grand Fallo Iridian
this week. Glad, Grand blue Shoe at the Grand Fallo Idio.
Happy for you. All right, let's answer some questions.

Speaker 2 (01:10:03):
Let's go ah, alrighty, Matt's question, John Philippelli, what movie
TV show do you think deserves a toy line that
never got one?

Speaker 1 (01:10:14):
Listen, I'm gonna say it fast and then ignore it,
Master Squad, but we're not gonna But I believe now
I'm taking this questions like what should have got one
back in the day, because now with Niches and listen,
we know anything can get a toy line, right. But
I feel like if they would have made like if Kenner,
for instance, would have made like Home Alone figures back

(01:10:37):
to the day with a giant house play set and
it does also of traps, I think that would have
sold big. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm biased.

Speaker 5 (01:10:47):
It's just like you make like four people and you're done.

Speaker 1 (01:10:51):
That's the prob. You know, you make the Robbers, you
old man Marley, you make Kevin, you can make all
you can be like three different Kevins.

Speaker 5 (01:10:58):
Kevin's gonna get three Kevin's where it's like slippery floor
Kevin and fucking you make healthy can Kevin.

Speaker 3 (01:11:05):
Healthy Marv and beat up Marv?

Speaker 1 (01:11:07):
You know they could be like the Flace I keep saying,
Flace face flippant fighters. We press them like now they're
all screwed up, you know. Yeah, maybe like a mail
Away bugs, like a Ghostbuster style figure. Man, who you
love Tommy Boy. You keep trying to get Tommy Boy stuff, but.

Speaker 5 (01:11:27):
Like Action fa Like I'm not I'm trying to be realistic,
Like what I love that, yes, greatly, But do I
think that's like something that would have hit especially Tommy
Boy when at the time its release was kind of
a flop, it became beloved like after the fact, Wayne's.

Speaker 1 (01:11:43):
World, Wayne's Wayne's World was always a hit.

Speaker 5 (01:11:47):
That might be the one, you know, because there's several
toyatic aspects to that, but it just wasn't kid friendly enough, right, Yeah,
that's the.

Speaker 1 (01:11:55):
Miss was Come on, man, it's weird. Like but back
in the day, like violence was okay for some reason,
but like sexual stuff wasn't. Right. I think that's the
that's the weird cutoff. Yeah, Christy Javine just got me
Mighty Ducks. Yeah might awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:12:21):
Yeah, Sandlos.

Speaker 5 (01:12:27):
Action figures more than dolls for sure, that was a
mega hit.

Speaker 3 (01:12:32):
Oh yeah, they had dolls.

Speaker 5 (01:12:33):
They they're like Barbie dolls, dolls. Like if they had
something more less, you know, girly, I think it would
have been a hit.

Speaker 2 (01:12:42):
I wonder if I would have bought like a full
House figure or a Family Matters figure, you.

Speaker 5 (01:12:47):
Know, dolls and stuff. Family Matters had Arkle things, but not.

Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
Like but if there was, if there was a kennot Ancle, Right,
all right, my question Rick Collector, Ari collector has.

Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
Bro lj and oh no, we don't have enough time for.

Speaker 3 (01:13:06):
This, Broski.

Speaker 1 (01:13:08):
We can.

Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
We can just kind of there was a lot of
stuff talked about. First of all, we didn't even mention
it in the news that we talked about it kind
of today that uh, the Star Cruiser went on sale
today and it sold out three thousand units. But the

(01:13:31):
crazy thing about the Star Coaster or it was, it's
an un believable vintage collection sized thing and it played
the ride in the toy.

Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
It's pretty wild. It's and I, when I try to
get online today get it. I don't know if this
is accurate, but I was the sixty third thousand person
in the quo.

Speaker 3 (01:13:51):
When I get in, I was six sixty something too,
and I.

Speaker 1 (01:13:55):
Went, I'll probably have to pay double the price. Yes,
but that's it's an incredible If you're a Star Wars fan,
if you're a Disney Parks fan, this is a must
Haveag's non negotiable in my opinion.

Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
Yeah, if you're a Star Wars fan, he went to
Disney when you were a kid, This is a huge
part of your childhood. I feel, you know, if you
went to Disney a few times. This is one of
the best rides Star Cruiser and that comes with the
two figures. But what is insane to me is this
is unprecedented. There's a video screen one. It's got the
r T D two and the Rex.

Speaker 1 (01:14:25):
Okay, okay, but plays the ride movie. It's unreal, so you.

Speaker 2 (01:14:30):
Have like you will always have the video of the
ride in this thing.

Speaker 3 (01:14:39):
But I was more.

Speaker 2 (01:14:40):
Speaking no, no, no, you probably would have hated this
one too, to be honest.

Speaker 1 (01:14:48):
I'm the one where I was just pressing the button
on the wall. That one sucks, which they are They
one of their announcements they're doing a new movie for
that ride, so hopefully it gets corrected. Oh cour it sucks.

Speaker 3 (01:15:00):
But I was more talking about the expansion of the parks. Brosky.

Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
They're doing a whole and added a whole section to Disney.
That's pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (01:15:07):
I mean, let's they do this every couple years. Where
they announced a bunch of stuff, and sometimes a lot
of those things don't happen. I feel like these will
because of Universal's epic universe opening up and Disney has
to compete. Uh you know, so there's a lot of
things like at Magic Kingdom they have to get rid of,
like the whole like Rivers of America they're getting rid of,
and the Tom Sawyers Island, which I don't give a

(01:15:28):
fuck about, get rid of that shit. They're building cars
land there so fucking cool. But I'll tell you what,
if they're going to take down Muppet Vision three D,
I will handcuff myself outside and boycott. I get it's
not a museum, but fuck me and Dylan. We'll finally
seeing eye to eye figuratively obviously, not literally. We're finally

(01:15:50):
seeing eye to eye about something because I don't want
that Muppet Vision to go well.

Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
And I also love the idea that they're adding more
villains stuff like the Disney villains in to that section.

Speaker 1 (01:16:00):
Whole Land, the whole Villain, Yeah, the villain.

Speaker 3 (01:16:05):
H and also a big Indiana Jones section, which is.

Speaker 1 (01:16:09):
Well that's been rumored for years because the Dinosaur ride
is really the track of Indiana Jones in California. So
it's a new ride, but it's also like thirty years old.
I'm sure there'll be some updates, got it, but it's
not like this brand new thing, like I fucking I've
been doing it for years.

Speaker 3 (01:16:27):
Got it.

Speaker 1 (01:16:28):
It's so cool to have here, that's for sure, better
than die good insight there, Brusky. I'm very excited about it.
I'm very excited. We'll see what happens. Very excited. Let's
see what it actually gets done.

Speaker 2 (01:16:38):
Though, Okay, all right, bruh. Brian's question, Chris DG. You
pick him every week. Chris DG five to five? Do
you think the younger generations will be nostalgic for toys
like eighties and nineties kids or will the adult collector
die with our generation of course?

Speaker 1 (01:16:53):
Thing?

Speaker 5 (01:16:55):
Yeah, I don't think. I guess I picked this because
I don't. It's a great question, but I don't think.

Speaker 1 (01:16:59):
I don't think nostalgia goes away, right, There's no way it's.

Speaker 3 (01:17:05):
Like terrible childhoods something.

Speaker 1 (01:17:08):
Yeah, unless this overwhelming generation of like terrible childhoods.

Speaker 2 (01:17:12):
But it's actually a thought that I have constantly, and
I love it. It's a it's a very happy thought
of mine when I see my daughter playing with something
or getting really into something, and I think, I think
that's going to be something that she remembers, right, yeah,
same or holds onto for the future alike, Right, she

(01:17:32):
has lol dolls American girl like.

Speaker 5 (01:17:36):
Thinking about man, that that YouTube show I loved when
I was a kid, whatever, you know, Like it's just
going to be their version of it, right.

Speaker 2 (01:17:43):
Yes, absolutely, Bluie. I think my daughter will have like
nostalgia feelings for.

Speaker 3 (01:17:48):
Yeah, right, big part of.

Speaker 1 (01:17:49):
Childhood sometimes like people saying like, oh, kids aren't buying toys,
kids aren't playing with toys. Like I'm sure there are
a lot of examples of some kids who don't play
with toys, but there are plenty of exams as the
kids who do you know, Like.

Speaker 5 (01:18:01):
I mean my I mean, from my personal experience, my
two girls are obsessed with toys. And then if something
has a toy, they're exactly like I was like, then
they're like they double down on they're fandom of it, you.

Speaker 1 (01:18:12):
Know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (01:18:13):
We literally they're obsessed with Descendants and this new Rise
of Red movie and like we just literally look at
the internet at these dolls all day long, and how
to get them, and when they're coming out, and like
they're obsessed and they like literally actively play, like they
go up in their playroom and they black out and
they're playing with these things for hours, you know what
I mean. So right, it's definitely right in my life.

Speaker 2 (01:18:36):
My daughter, and if I look back, like you know,
she's been in and out obviously with different things, but
American girl dolls has been her thing right for for
almost her whole life, and she always goes back to it.
And she loves like the little pieces, like the tables
and the and the accessories that you get, which is
very similar to like a fig fed and the things
that you used to get or whatever. So and the

(01:18:56):
cool thing about American girl dolls is they go back
a long time now. So like my brother's girlfriend has
nostalgia for American girl dolls, and I feel like my
daughter will have nostalgia for American girl dolls. And it's
interesting it's the same thing.

Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
But I'm reading Tom's wrestling collection, and I disagree with
both statements you just made. I don't mean that in
a conversational way.

Speaker 3 (01:19:20):
He says, kids care far less about toys.

Speaker 2 (01:19:22):
I played until I was a teenager at my daughter's
ten and never touches them.

Speaker 1 (01:19:25):
I mean, Tom, it's okay. You were a loser if
you were playing as a teenager. So was I. Most
kids were not, you know. I mean that is like
we're the exception pal, that's why we're in the same community.
But like I was just about to say before I
read that comment, like I remember, is it like second

(01:19:47):
or third grade where I felt like I was the
only one still playing with toys and I do it
in secret even when I like I'm trying to do
the math. When I liked Power Rangers, I remember I
had to be a little like pumped the brakes on
because because I'm your agent, I was already woo. It
wasn't like the.

Speaker 5 (01:20:01):
Coolest to be like yeah, I mean, and my mom
ran down the aisles of Kmart like mad people to
try to get these toys. Yeah, oh my god. I
think that just comes to the territory, right, we get.

Speaker 3 (01:20:11):
Older embarrassed buying toys.

Speaker 5 (01:20:13):
I think you become self conscious you get older, that's
just part of growing up.

Speaker 1 (01:20:16):
I think there's like this revisionist history because now, like
comic cons are so cool and it's cool to be
a nerd and you know, like Deadpool Wolverine is breaking
a billion dollars. Let's not forget ten years ago this
podcast could not exist. We'd be banned, we wouldn't have wives,
we wouldn't have girlfriends. Yeah, you don't wear that, like
we'd be wearing that bread Hart shirt. Yeah, we wear
that bread hort. Nope, it was not It was forty

(01:20:39):
year old Vergin. It was not cool. It was not
cool to collect. And like now I think everyone's accepted it,
and like, you know, like that's why so much of
the stuff I'm buying now is stuff that I wish
I would have had as a kid, like the Power Ranger,
stuff that I wish I didn't think it was too
cool to buy. Of course I'm buying this stuff I loved.
It's also stuff I wish I bought because I thought
I was too cool. Then fuck that.

Speaker 5 (01:21:00):
I know what I saw this weekend. I almost bought too,
the new turtles that look like the ones we had
as kids, but they're articulated.

Speaker 1 (01:21:08):
Hmm, oh, I don't like those. I know what you're
talking about. Liam David showed me. I thought they're awesome,
but like that's full nostalgia for me, but it like
combined both like my adult love of like figures as
like what about the Super Stevens has been out for
years those?

Speaker 5 (01:21:28):
Yeah, but I feel like that one. It just looks
so concise, you know, it comes to that stand you
pose them had the same way Sames like weapon.

Speaker 1 (01:21:36):
I don't know. I liked it.

Speaker 3 (01:21:37):
Yeah, I asse what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (01:21:39):
Yeah, read what Mike. Mike Small just wrote.

Speaker 2 (01:21:44):
I brought my sixty six Batman Robin the sixth grade
launch and got.

Speaker 3 (01:21:48):
Roasted by.

Speaker 5 (01:21:52):
I know Todd Rokus has this story. If he's listed,
I hope he is that. I remember he wore the
denim WrestleMania twelve jacket to like ate something in eighth grade.

Speaker 3 (01:22:03):
Was like.

Speaker 1 (01:22:05):
And he's like scarred for life from him because he
just got like sun. It was like and Sean Diesel
and down the taker, down the sides, a deadim jacket.

Speaker 3 (01:22:18):
And like pretty cool jacket.

Speaker 1 (01:22:21):
Now not man and you're getting roasted. I got roasted.
I think it was. It must have been ninth or
tenth grade. It was like Tuesday after raw. I just
bought a new too cool shirt and wore it. It
was a silhouette of like graandbast and sex a Scotti Mkishi,
I was not cool. It's cool for that too cool.

Speaker 3 (01:22:36):
Shirt I did.

Speaker 2 (01:22:40):
I did an Avenger shirt to basketball practice in seventh grade,
and it's like, it's.

Speaker 3 (01:22:47):
A life it was such a terrible night. It was.
It's a life.

Speaker 1 (01:22:50):
Memory, such a terrible.

Speaker 2 (01:22:53):
Night, like the amount of the ship that I took
by wearing a fucking Avenger shirt.

Speaker 1 (01:22:58):
To think about how ahead of your time you were
though this, this just popped in my head. I remember
I was in third grade and I made fun of
somebody who was wearing a real Ghostbuster shirt. And how
the tables have turned on that one. I'm almost forty.
I literally have a slimer, giant like Halloween decorations that

(01:23:19):
I'm putting in my sweater shirt right your Ghostbuster shirt
yesterday today, It's like, God, come yeah, times have changed.
That's a good thing. Though, great question, Great question.

Speaker 2 (01:23:39):
You also ruined my day because now I'm just thinking
about that Avenger shirt day.

Speaker 1 (01:23:43):
We're all losers. Oh my god, We're all losers together,
all of them. Mark got the worst wedgie of his
life that day. Mark caught swirly in the in the
bathroom because that Avengers first time.

Speaker 5 (01:23:55):
Yeah, that's how it all started.

Speaker 3 (01:23:58):
Yeah, definitely fix
