But first of all, Special Report number one. Eight men
were affiliated this morning. Reportedly eight men affiliated with the
Detroit Tigers organization were reportedly accused of misconduct toward women.

(01:30):
That includes former Tigers outfielder and former Tigers broadcast analyst
Craig Monroe on television and I'm gonna, Oh I second,
I'm gonna I'm gonna share the screen here and that's

(01:55):
that's since twenty twenty three. According to The Athletic writes,
Chris Contributing, writer of Yahoo Sports for vice presidents, and
two high ranking employees were among those included in the allegations.
Seven of the eight men reportedly worked with the with
Illach Sports and Entertainment, which operates the Tigers Red Wings

ca America Park in the Little Caesars Arena. Six of
the eight men were either fired, resigned, or did not
have their contracts renewed for the Athletic. One was suspended
as a result of the Athletics investigation. A current Mail
employee told The Athletic the working the working environment was
quote not a place women can feel safe. He's right,

He's right. The Athletic launched its investigation into the team
following the surprising resignation of longtime employee Sam Menzen, who
most recently served as the assistant generalman with the Tigers
before leaving. In April. Menzen reportedly let the team after

(03:07):
an internal investigation found that he allegedly sent lewd, unsolicited
photos to multiple women employed by the team. Another man
accused of misconduct was former vice president of Premium Sales
and Private Events Michael Liinert. During his tenure with the team,

(03:28):
Leaner was accused of accused of staring at women in
a manner that made them uncomfortable. He also reportedly engaged
in two relationships with female coworkers, but did not disclose
them to the team. Liner was reportedly involved in a
heated exchange with one of those women in twenty twenty three,
and is accused of pushing the woman down a flight

of stairs. Three sources told The Athletic, Oh my god,
Lionard is crazy. Liner was suspended by the team, resigned,
and currently works for the sho Chicago Fire. Yeah. Good
luck with that, buddy. Two other men, Josh Bullock and
Rob Gayring, exited the organization between November twenty twenty four

and April twenty twenty five, around the same time Men'sen resigned. Bullock,
the team's vice president of business operations, was accused of
harassing both male and female coworkers. Bullock also reportedly made
inappropriate comments in front of several women while at a
bar with colleagues. He was fired in March. He was

fired in March. Gayring, the director of video content production,
reportedly met with Human Resources over multiple complaints alleging that
he referred to female coworkers as honey or other pet
names and touched them unnecessarily. He was fired a week
after HR Human Resource launched an investigation into his conduct.

Two other employees, Peter Soto and Ben Fiddleman Ben Feidelman,
were accused of making inappropriate comments to and about female employees.
Both Soto and Fidalman were reportedly involved in HR investigations,
but remained within the team Fileman was reportedly reportedly promoted

(05:27):
to vice president a week after an HR investigation concluded
after a female employee accused him of retaliation and gender discrimination.
Two former Tigers players who served as analysts on Team broadcast,
Cameron Mabn and Craig Monroe, of course, did not have
their contracts renewed after allegations arose arose alleging misconduct. Mabon

was accused of making inappropriate comments toward female employees and
engaging in two inappropriately night phone calls with female employees. Yeah,
real dumbass right there. In twenty twenty four, Monroe was
accused of sexual abuse of a minor. He was taken
off team broadcast and his contract was not renewed. Yeah,

that's it. Get the f out of here, GTFL Craig,
you stupid, imbecile. The Athletic contacted the Frisco Police Department
about Monroe about Monroe's case and was told it is
now inactive. The allegations of organizational exits come to light

(06:42):
with the Tigers in the midst of a strong season
on the field, which is different from this story. The
team owners play Wednesday with eighty three wins, tied for
most of the American League.

The Bluejays have sixty one losses the Tigers have sixty two.
So yeah, just more trouble within the Tigers organization. But

it is the first time since twenty eighteen that some
at least one employee was fired from the Tigers organization.
The other incident involved then pitching coach Craig Bosio labeling

an employee an insensitive remark which I will not comment on,
but at least some of you know already know what
that is anyway, So wow, hmm. I mean, look, this

is different than what's on the field. Okay, it's just horrible.
This has to this, this stuff has to stop, it
really does. I don't have much to say about this.

Some men are some men in today's world are just
absolutely crazy. But especially in the sports world. They're not
even gentlemen. They're not even nearly gentlemen. Just absolutely juvenile.

A bunch of absolute juvenile pigs in bacilic pigs. Just
really literally, man, just I tell all men in general

to stay in their own lanes and mind their own businesses. Okay,
be more professional and be more, be more, be more
of gentlemen, please now the Tiger's Tribune segment. Kyle Finnegan
was put on the fifteen day injured list with a

right aductor strain, but he is eligible to return on
the sixteenth. Of course, fans panic about it like a
bunch of toddlers and children.

The Tigers did score nine runs in the seventh inning
against the Yankees in the Bronx, eight of whitch were scored,
with nobody out Parker Meadows with three hits, four RBIs,
including a two run homer and put the Tigers on
the board first, and then give the Tigers the lead

on an RBI single, uh Re rotating the loaded bases
and then walks to hit a hit by pitch uh
a couple of wild pitches and then a two run
triple up the gap and left center field by Carrie

to find out down the road. So we'll keep our

Of course, the Tigers are fourth best in the in

like this, Tigers eight and a half up, on the Guardians,
Cleveland Guardians who are seventy four and seventy, Kansas City
Royals ten backs seventy three, seventy two Twins, and White

Twins pretty much out of it too. So so there's that,
and that's the Tigers Tribune. Now for some football in
the Minton. First off, the Lions came very unprepared, especially

with their offensive line. The team lost twenty seven to
thirteen in lambeau Field against to the Green Bay Packers
in Week one of the twenty twenty five to twenty
twenty six NFL regular season. The players could not see
eye to eye with the new coordinators. The offensive and
defensive lines were not doing their jobs, even with Aton
Hutchinson back back from his broken fibula from last season,

and there was no communication with the offensive line. They
didn't communicate with each other. They didn't communicate, they didn't
communicate with the coordinators. A lack of protection. The lack
of protection by the offensive line caused problems with the
running game and the pocket. David Montgomery eleven carries for

just twenty five rushing yards, Jamiir Gibbs nine for just
nineteen rushing yards. Jared Goff took four sacks, one of
them by a new Packer linebacker, Packers linebacker Micah Parsons.
Four sacks taken by Goff for twenty five yards lost total.

He threw thirty one to thirty nine, which is really
good for two hundred and twenty five passing yards. Not
as great. One garbage time touchdown throw to Isaac Tesla,
a marvelous garbage time touchdown catch, but Jerreck Goff through

one interception, but that was the only turnover that the
Lions committed as a team, and they were three on
and the Lions of at least Lions offense was at
least was three for four on fourth down, but they
were just five for fifteen on third down efficiency. The
team just wasn't ready whatsoever. I'm not going to pin

this too much on the new coordinators. Offensive coordinator John
Morton and defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard. Need more time, need
to need more time. You gotta give them space, Okay,
you gotta give them time. You really do. The scapegoat,
my scapegoat of that game was is just the offensive

line and Dan Campbell took after the game, Dan Campbell
told every told the media in the press cons at
the postgame press conference that he uh holds himself responsible
and get and Dan. I love how Dan Campbell keeps
telling people, keeps showing how humble he is toward the

So the Lions are gonna have to uh m hm
take some time with uh with trying to adapt with

their new coordinators John Morn and Calvin Shepard. Of course
they missed Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn. Ben Johnson wasn't perfect,
but he was still great. So yeah, just one turnover.
But the offensive line just needs to push and pull

more of their weight to a sewel. For example, Taylor Decker,
he didn't practice, Terry On Arnold did did practice. Brian
Branch again so undisciplined in Green Bay that he decided
to get in trouble, decided to almost get in trouble.

Come on, Bryan Branch, throw the hell up. So so
the Lions, of course, their next game is their home
opener against the Chicago Bears Sunday at one on Fox.

Of course, like I mentioned, bear Ben Johnson as I
mentioned his name, but at least but he's the new
head coach of the Chicago Bears. The Bears at Soldier
Field in Week one, squadered a seventeen to sixth lead
and lost twenty seven to twenty four at home to

the Minnesota Vikings. Vikings led by as many as ten
twenty one points consecutively by the Vikings. JJ McCarthy first
two finally threw his first two career NFL touchdown passes,

it deep in a Bears territory, two plays, including the

the last two times the Lions faced the Bears at
Ford Field the Lions two seasons ago. The Lions came

his former team, and then Aidan Hutchinson with a safety.

And then last year on Thanksgiving, the Matt Eber flew

made a big sack forcing a third and twenty six.

million dollar contract extension which includes sixty seven million dollars guaranteed.
They're not They're not in a They're not in a
big hurry to sign Aiden to extend defensive end Aiden Hutchinson.

I think it becomes an unrestricted free agent like either
next year or the year after that. I'm gonna I'm

And now for special report number two. Of course, Piston's

guard Melite Beasley is back under investigation, back under federal
investigation by the league for the gambling probe allegations linked
to a federal case. I'm going to share the screen
one more time allow the confirmation of the of the

(41:37):
start of a league investigation into Beasley's alleged gambling on
NBA games continues what has been a long summer for
last season six Man of the Year runner up sixteen
point three points, twenty seven minutes, fifty seconds. ESPN reported

(41:58):
on June twenty ninth that the US Attorney at US
Attorney's Office of the Eastern District of New York had
begun investigating Beasley this afternoon. This is reported but at
two fourteen pm Eastern today Chris Parti. The alleged in

(42:24):
the alleged infraction against Beasley comes from allegations of improper
gambling on NBA games and prop bets. Beasley is accused
of allegedly participating in these activities during the twenty twenty
three to twenty twenty four season, which is two years ago,
two seasons ago while playing for the Milwaukee Bucks. Beasley's

(42:48):
attorney said, quote, an investigation is not a charge, unquote
Milton a charge. Malik has afforded the same right of
the presumption of innocent as anyone else under the US Constitution.
As of now, he has not been charged with anything.

(43:08):
Steve Steve Haney told ESPN that making matters worse. Beasley
was sued by Hazan Sports Management Group in July that's
two months ago for breach of contract, with the agency
seeking two point two five million, two and a quarter
million in damages that too, and a quarter million dollars

(43:34):
in damages from the NBA sharpshooter in August. Beasley last
month was evicted was evicted from his high rise apartment
in downtown Detroit for failing to pay a total of
twenty one five hundred in rent on August twenty. On

(43:54):
August twenty second, Beasley's attorneys told ESPN he was no
longer a target of the federal probe. The Pistons were
set to reward Beasley for a stellar twenty twenty four
to twenty twenty five campaign by offering a three year
offering him a three year, forty two million dollars contract

per ESPN's Sham Sharania that was reportedly on the table
before the initial allegations came out, according to it. According
to ESPN, a source for at least one US sportsbook
suspected unusual betting interest in Beasley's stats dating back to
January twenty twenty four. A game against the Portland Trailblazers

on January thirty first of that year raised eyebrows when
odds on Beasley grabbing fewer than two point five rebounds
moved significantly before the game. Beasley ended that game with
six boards, and those unusual bets lost. The NBA's investigation

is believed to be in its final stages for es,
