in school in talent shows. You're fathering aunt sang as
Ricky and Vicki with the nineteen sixties hit Joni and
Why You're So in Love. You're also an author, actress, model,
war winning artist. You've been nominated for several awards. You
(02:40):
graduate from Christian Lenders Institute. Congratulations, by the way, that
was a big honor today and back in twenty eighteen
you did One More Chance with your dad. We'll be
talking about similar releases. We'll be playing a couple of
them at the end of the audio interview. And before
getting on, Melissa tell us I first got started.
Speaker 7 (02:57):
Well, I first started very young. My parents notice that
I had the gift of music. When they would take
me food shopping, and this is how they started to
see that. They would see me sitting in the cart
and going food shopping and music would come on and
they'd see me bopping along in queue and singing in
Q and they said, something is different here. And I
started actually singing in church and that's how it really
(03:20):
started for me, and then with different events, family events,
and getting into different things as time went on.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
And certainly indeed and you had a lot of interests
as well, it was one precise moment that simply influenced
you into.
Speaker 6 (03:33):
What you do in the rest of your career.
Speaker 7 (03:35):
Well, for me, I always knew I wanted to be
a singer, but the moment that really hit me was
when I did a talent show in school.
Speaker 6 (03:41):
I was very little.
Speaker 7 (03:42):
We did a hometown talent show and when I got there,
I sang It's My Party by Leslie Gore. My mom
got me the outfit, and right when I was up
on that stage, I knew that was something I was
going to do for the rest of my life.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
And it sounds like you too, and you have a
love for duop as well, getting more of the minute,
and besides, you know your love for Knye Francis, the
Preems and more. Where are some other favorite singer songwriters
and musicians growing up? C. C.
Speaker 7 (04:09):
Winen, Elvis Presley, Whitney Houston, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, my
uncle who is a part of the Vito and the Salutations.
He's not one of the original members, but he became
a part of the group later on. List is endless.
I've been around so much wonderful music, so it's really
in me.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
And plus your daddy and sang as Ricky and Vickie
back with the nineteen sixty said Joni, and why you're.
Speaker 6 (04:34):
So in luck?
Speaker 7 (04:36):
Yes, yes, they was signed to Angletone Records and they
released that those two songs, those two singles. It was
an A and B side, and my uncle actually wrote
those songs, So it's there, you know, it's really in
the family line, and it's amazing.
Speaker 6 (04:49):
Where are so many other hits they performed as well?
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Well.
Speaker 7 (04:52):
At the time, that's what they were working on. And
then my dad had gotten sick. He had gotten hepatitis,
so he couldn't go further, and my aunt didn't want
to go without my dad, so they put that on holes.
But then later on my dad joined other bands, worked
with other individuals, including with my uncle, and then once
you know I was getting more into the business, then
my dad started working with me.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
And plus you also have some releases as well too.
I give you one more chance. Look at you, Jesus,

Patty Gowne here and the Mike Winner's Sharing author actress,
male and award winning artists. And you don't a lot
of things as a whirring singer. But first you've been authors. Well,
(08:03):
and tell us more about you being an author in
some of your books.
Speaker 7 (08:07):
Well, I started writing when I was about six six
and a half and I didn't get signed until I
was eighteen and released a book at eighteen, right around
the time when I was still modeling and being extras
in films. So when I started doing that, I was
very busy putting that out there, going around and doing
the thing on you know, radio, TV, newspapers, TV, you
(08:28):
name it. And it's wonderful. It's helped so many people.
My book is Susanlantanase Short Stories, Fiction on fiction. It's
to let every young girl and boy know that they
can make it through anything and that the lights was
at the end of the tunnel. I have a short
story in there regarding nine to eleven because I lost
my at nine to eleven, and I wrote in a
non scary way to help people understand that they too
can overcome anything, especially anything.
Speaker 6 (08:47):
Tragic, and certainly did as well too.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
And you've been an actress as well too, maybe some
of the films ads or Anthon archtype.
Speaker 5 (08:55):
Ben.
Speaker 7 (08:56):
Yeah, I've done different things over the years, especially from
school act but one of the biggest things I've done
was being an extra and Spider Man three the movie
The major a nice So that was a lot of
fun and a lot of great experience with all of that,
and I look forward to doing more of those things,
and you know, even who knows, maybe getting a lead
role of something at some point, but as of right now,
I'm very happy that I got that experience with that movie.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Of all the things that you've done, like being an author, actress, model,
award winning artist, if you had to pick which one,
what would be and why?
Speaker 6 (09:28):
What would you rather do?
Speaker 4 (09:29):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (09:30):
I love it all, but probably music because that's been
in me and I love getting to tell stories and
help bring people peace and love, and that's why I
would do music more.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
And plus you also have a release that you did
with your dad, One More Chance back in twenty eighteen.
Speaker 6 (09:46):
Tell us more about that one.
Speaker 7 (09:48):
Yeah, I gave you One More Chance. We released back
then and it hit number one within the first week
of releasing. It hit number one. Actually, the two versions
that we made with Grammy nominated Meg Steve mg mc
here in Jersey and it is number one on the
up and coming Billboard charts, which was very, very exciting.
So that was a song that came from heartbreak, actually,
(10:12):
but it brought something really beautiful out of it where
I got to help a lot of people, including myself,
and I'm happy it's doing very well on Billboard and
around the world.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
It sounds like you've got some great stuff. You've got
to look at you, Jesus. You're the one bless the
Lord Jesus.
Speaker 6 (10:26):
I know you and tell us more about those Yeah.
Speaker 7 (10:29):
So each single came out at different times over the years.
They've each hit number one on different charts and charting
on other charts as well at number placements. They've also
been nominated for multiple multiple awards, which were very thankful for.
But for example, Dealer Jesus came out at a certain
period of time, the recreated version when I actually had
(10:50):
gotten sick, I had gotten sick. In April of twenty eighteen.
I had collapsed, I had gotten I was blind, I
had lost the ability to walk, frozen shoulders, a whole
bunch of stuff, and doctors couldn't tell what was going on.
And when I rededicated my life to the Lord, my
legs began to move after hours of prayer and fasting,
(11:10):
and then the doctors finally could tell me by Christmas,
because that's all I wanted to know by Christmas is
what happened. And they told me I had Parsons Turner syndrome.
It's think of it's not a mess, but it has
symptoms like MS. And since then eating healthy, you know,
changing my way of life to be more healthy, exercise
four times a week. So it affects one in every
(11:31):
one thousand individuals worldwide, starting from infancy. And it's something
that people need to know about because if they have
certain symptoms and they don't know what's going on. I
always tell people get checked right away to know how
you know, listen to your body and you'll know what's
going on.
Speaker 6 (11:44):
And would just say it was Parker Turner's syndrome.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
Is that right?
Speaker 6 (11:48):
Parsonage Turner Parsonage, Turner's syndrome. Okay, and tell us a
bit more about that and how I came about this.
I've never heard this, to be honest with you.
Speaker 7 (11:56):
Yeah, it's a rare disorder actually, and like I said,
it affects one in every one thousand individuals worldwide. You
can be born with it from infancy. For my case,
I was born breach and I also had traumatic brain
injury from a car accident. So between the two, or
one or the other, it's what really pushed it out
when it came to me. They actually thought I would
have gotten it at twenty five, but I got it
(12:17):
at thirty. And the symptoms for me how it first
started was I was very fatigue. I couldn't get out
of bed. I had trouble literally pulling myself out of bed.
I wasn't depressed or anything of that nature. I just
my body wouldn't move and it constantly felt so tired,
and I got very bad vertigo, and I didn't think
too much of it. But then once I was starting
(12:40):
to get ready to go and record for the Deal
or Jesus recreated Single, my body just gave way and
it was terrifying. But once I did what I had
to do. You know, God has really delivered. But the
best thing is to definitely look up type of condition
because people get concerned. They're like, well, wait, is it
like MS And I'm like, well, has symptoms like a mess,
(13:01):
but it's not a mess and you can heal. I
had one of the more severe cases, but everybody's different,
has different variations of it, but it's a it's a
disease that two individually, two individual men excuse me, had
it and they actually were the ones who went through
the process of putting all the documents together to help
educate the masses about it so that people would be
(13:24):
well aware of what to do and how to take
care of themselves.
Speaker 6 (13:26):
That is really interesting.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
I've never heard of it, and I'm glad you brought
that up and hopefully I'm make everybody aware of it
as well too.
Speaker 6 (13:33):
And of course we got two more singles to talk
about playing us.
Speaker 4 (13:36):

as well as other events. It's a story of love, betrayal, repentance,

Powers and boy are you in luck?
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Right place, right time?
Speaker 4 (16:50):
Tuned into the Mike Wagner Show. You heard me, We're
back to the multi time Pettigiato here on the Mike
Wade and Her show. Beginning her career at two, singing, dancing,
Conye Francis and She's got some releases, gave you one
more chance, look at You and the two releases will
be playing at the end is Dear Lord Jesus and
(17:12):
It's all for you.
Speaker 6 (17:12):
And tell us more about those two and why inspired
to write them?
Speaker 7 (17:16):
Well, Dear Lord Jesus was actually written during a time
I was going through a lot, not just physically with
my health, but I was also going through a time
where I really wanted to grow and connect with the
Lord more so. My dad and I were sitting in
our old apartment. We were in the den and we
were writing something. We wanted it to be a song
where it wasn't just my relationship with the Lord, but
(17:37):
also talking to the people. So that's how the song goes.
When people hear it, sometimes they wonder well, how is
this going? And I'm like, well, it's a double it's
a double way of listening to it, but everybody has
a great perception of how they listen to it. So
that really stemmed from wanting to get closer to the
Lord and wanting the world to know about the Lord more.
And then It's All for You is just a full
(17:58):
song about true dedication. Who it's all about, and how
my life and all those who believe and who want
to know him come to him.
Speaker 6 (18:07):
So and if there's other music out there, feel free
to talk as well.
Speaker 7 (18:13):
Yeah, I have a lot of Christian music, but a
lot of people love my dance singles as well, which
is gave you one more chance. It's a fun it's upbeat.
A lot of people love playing it at parties. We
actually had a release party in New York City with
a lot of family and friends. And it's a song
that gives a lot of people believe it. I was
happy to hear it very positive uplift and hope, and
(18:34):
I was happy about that. So the music is doing
wonderful and people are really gravitating and it's helping their
lives in many ways.
Speaker 6 (18:40):
And I'm very thankful for that and very thankful indeed.
And what else do you base your lyrics?
Speaker 7 (18:44):
H I'm sorry you broke out? Can you say it?
Speaker 6 (18:49):
And I said, what else do you base your lyrics
when it comes to your music?
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (18:53):
Well, for me, it's my own personal experience. It's stories
I've heard from other individuals, but it's always based on
it experience, mostly because I've been through a lot, and
you know, in life, we do go through so much,
and I just want to give people hope and I
want them to know that even in the most darkest moments,
there are those who will be there for you, and
the light is always there. Don't ever feel that you
(19:14):
can overcome something.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
I think that's really true as well too. In the meantime,
where can we find all your music and all your

in your career, Oh.
Speaker 7 (21:03):
Wow, I have so many, but I would say one
of the top biggest influences for me is between C. C.
Winen and Elvis Presley, the two.
Speaker 6 (21:11):
Okay, And what's the best advice you can give to
anybody at this point?
Speaker 7 (21:14):
I would tell everybody to just be true to yourself,
learn the craft, have what you want to do. Never
push yourself, you know, don't do something you don't feel
comfortable with, you know, based on your gut. And uh,
don't let anybody ever tell you different that you can't
do something, because you can.

And I think that's a great advice as well.
