Who are you and what is it that you do well?
Speaker 5 (01:50):
My name is Autumn Orchid. I. For the last four
and a half years I've had I've done a lot
of solo work, so with an only fan and a
fans lead. I also do all the art sales on
many bits and clips for now, and so it's just
been sort of this thing that I've done both as
a way to give myself tons of pleasure but also

just creating beautiful things. You know, I never saw myself
as a very artistic person before this, you know, like
through when I was younger and stuff like that, but
had no photography experience, no videography. I've been the person
I'm in front of the camera and been like the
music has inspired others, but a lot of this has

My greatest joy overall, or since I started doing the
professional work in general.

Awesome. You know, there's kind of a twofold answer for that,
there's like a me and an others for me, Like I,
I have never spent so much time focusing on my
own body, my own pleasure. You know, I'm like anyone
could just jerk off for three hours a week.

But the fact that I'm doing it on camera, that
I get to watch myself on the screen, that I
get to kind of create something, have given me the

like that can shift me into that zone. So I
have a very overactive mind. And so you know, meditation
is fantastic for it, but especially doing counting meditations. And

so the way that I masturbate, like if I'm just
in bed and I want to drink off and just
roll over, I masturbate faith down grinding on my hand,
so like this part of my hand is sort of
pressed against like my mom's like upper clteral area. And
then I'm mostly kind of like like yeah, dirating, humping
my heads against my hand. But I start counting, and

so I count kind of every hump where it's like
one two. And it used to be that I would
start masturbating and it would feel good and I would
maybe get close to having an orgasm, and then my
brain was like, well, what about laundry or like just

than not, I just do a lot of movements in
my body, even like peldic circles or like kind of

almost like belly dancing, core movements. I have, Like it's
very minor, but I have like a little bit of scoliosis.
My midst fine, so my hips are just enough off
that it builds a lot of tension in my low
back throughout my sacral area. And so doing hip circles
just can it brings movement and I guess just like

flexibility in that area. So if every day I do
pelvic circles and I do even like figure eights with
my hips up and down, like I don't get back pain.
Where I used to have back pain like every day.
It was a consistent thing. So being able to do
these movements that only gets me into my body and
it feels good and it feels beckthy. It helps my

low back. But I like anytime I'm going to do
a shoot, I will always do that beforehand, like maybe
while I'm like brushing my teeth or something like that.
But yeah, doing the pelvic circles, doing kind of the
figure eight something like if I'm doing it a little
bit all day long, not all day long, but like
I do it throughout the day, So it ends up
probably being at least five to ten minutes a day

every day that I'm doing those movements. And that's something
that I realized, like so much of my like abdominal
muscles and coarse strength, and like the aesthetic of my

the gym or so much time exercising, but it's about
spending so much time connecting with my body and feeling

I mean can feel like a chore, can feel like
this thing that we have to do, but when I'm
able to bring joy into it, So those in addition

to just dancing in general, like I love music, I
love like anything that kind of makes my body want
to move around. So yeah, honestly, like if I'm going
to the gym regularly, like very consistent, it's like toys
a week, but doing my dancing and other emotions and
even just like I've been really practicing the art of
not going on my phone for those little like one

to two minute motions or moments. So like if I'm
eating something up in the microwave, I'll just stand there
and be like, okay, like let's do some like shoulder
presses or something that. I'm also like working on my
posture and keeping my back straight. So yeah, so there's
just a lot that I do, and almost all of
it is about feeling good in my body and connecting
with my physical body.

See self care and self pleasure. It's very important.

I really love orchids. I really love plants in general.
Where I live doesn't have a ton of natural lights.

I don't have a lot of plants.

I have to kind of just pair down with where
I live. But I love my plant babies. I love
just the ability to, like I don't know, like help
foster life with just like my water or my hands
and water and use plant food like that makes me
really really happy. I love just spending time with my friends.
I have so many amazing people in my life, and

we've hit that age that like I have friends that
we literally like I feel so silly saying this, but
it makes me so happy. I have friends that we
will like trade back and forth between whose house we
go to, and we have like TV shows that will
watch together, so we'll like go to their house and
like whoever's hosting is gonna cook dinner, and whoever comes
over brings like a bottle of wine, so eat dinner,

hang out, and then like watch a couple of as
of a TV show, And there are shows that we
won't watch separately. So just spending time with friends doing
little things like that is something that I've really enjoyed.
I guess honestly, the biggest thing that I'm doing in
my life right now is just spending time with friends,
getting that quality time. I love things that that allow

me to be active, even just like going on walks.

There's like the walks that I do that are for exercise.

And then the walks that I do to just like
look at all the plants and look at all the flowers,
and you know, like literally stop and smell the roses.

So that's like a thing that I really enjoy doing.
And also reading.
Speaker 5 (16:52):
I used to be a really avid reader and then
life just happens and you get too busy and you
fall out of the habit. But recently I've been reading
well two books, American Gods, and then I've been doing
the audiobook of Stephen King's on writing. It's just a
really fantastic book and he's just a funny kind of
like listening to his voice.

But yeah, reading is something that I really enjoy doing
as well.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
Okay, real quick before you go into your question, I
have an orchid in my living room and like you know,
like when it goes to the doorman stage and it's
just a stick. Like when it got to that stage,
I thought it was dead. But I'm like the leaves
are still green, and like I'm up here just water,

you know, like is it gonna come back? I'm like
I thought it was going and then like just like
three four days ago, the flower, like one of one
of the flowers part of that again, like it's.

Back, yea, it lives yeay.

You know, So one thing you can do because most
people think it's like when you know, the flowers fall
off Oftentimes the plant can just sit and do nothing
for days, weeks, months, years.

If you take like the stem, there's like kind of
little nubs.
Speaker 5 (18:08):
Along the way, you cut like below one of those,
and then like a new shoot can grow out the side.
So trimming that can be a way to kind of
foster more growth out of your orchids. Also, keeping in mind,
orchids do not need a lot of water, so it's
really easy to overwater them. One recommendation is to water
(18:28):
with ice cubes. That you just set a couple of
ice cubes and as they melt, they slowly water the plant.
They definitely need, you know. I go back and forth
with the amount of sunlight being because I've had orchids
thrive outside in the middle of the sun. I've had
orchids thrive inside with no direct sunlight, so I suppose
it's kind of feeling them out. But one really important
(18:50):
thing to keep in mind with orchids is they are
different from normal plants, where the average plant responds to sunlight.
So as sunlight starts to dwindle or you get more
sunlight in a day, that's when they go through the
h just how they propagate, but orchids respond to temperature.
So one of the best things that you can do
for an orchid is have it near like a door
window that you open, so it actually gets to experience

the outside temperature. And you may notice that like when
there's a sudden change in temperature, like a sudden drop
in temperature or a sudden I think it's usually more
the drop in temperature where they start to to propagate.
But yeah, that was like a game changer for me.
Is keeping orchids either right outside so they experience the weather,
or right near a window that I frequently opens they

get to experience the outdoors.

Yeah, but I love to think of cookbooks and it's
right next to a window, so so like it gets
that sunlight through the blinds nice and like yeah, and
I have this app that someone told me to use
and I just findal that what it says, und of
water your orchid. I'm like, okay, perfect, Yeah, but otherwise

all barble plants will be dead.

Oh my gosh. Technology is amazing.

pretty good, but mine tend to be a little overwatered.

this is terrible information, but I think I'm right about everything.
But or it's also they like to have like more
room and more air on their roots. So having them
in uh like wood chips as opposed to actual like
hard soil allows uh yeah, just more airflow onto the

the roots themselves.

So they tend to like that a little bit more.

I don't know what mind is because someone someone gave
it to me as a householming gift, and so I
just put it where it's at now and just said, okay,
I'll just I will just just see the app in
this water, and I got this. I got the spray,
so I spray the leaves with orchid food.

in my home is some of them are really just
good for you know there.

Yeah, there are also certain plants and I can only
remember the one that I have, but there are a
good like a dozen plants that are really good for
detoxify in the air. So if you live like in
a city or near a highway, spider plants are amazing
for that.

And they like you.

Cannot kill a spider plant nless, you just don't water
it for like six months, like they will thrive and
live forever.

But yeah, like cleaning pollution out of the air, and
that kind of thing.

Yeah, funny enough, this one that Rosters Roster has, he
has a few snake plants.

Oh, I have three snake plants in the orchid awesome.
So yeah, that's the only plants I have. Everything else
would die. I mean like I get I buy roses
here and there, but then we just clip them until
it's dead.

So one thing that I recently learned, well again, this
is the thing that I saw online is very much
seemed to be right. I've never done it myself, but
they said with when you get roses, you can actually
get them to.

Like like grow into a bush.

And they said what they did was every single day
they would trim the bottoms, like trim them diagonally the
bottoms of the rose stems, clean the water every day
and change the plant food every day, and they were
eventually able to like propagate them into actual plants that
they planted. So again I saw this online and not
validated it. But yeah, apparently there is a way that

you can take roses that are that are stemmed, cut
road and make them have a longer, long vity.

It seems like a lot of work.

A couple of years ago and I've like a couple

and does that. Yeah, at this at this point, use
and this is not a knock at anybody, because I
actually live in a house compared to everybody who lives

And it's so friendly. If you want to do something

Rooms, that's awesome. Do you have to have rooms that

No, I have a poor house. Oh nice, and like
right now it's uh, I'm using it for something else
right now, But usually usually it was just used for
a lot of content was shot back there, like because
I have a I have a food time back there,
and I have a bad thing. It's also it's also

big enough you can also use it as the bedroom
if you change your stuff from a food time and
stuff like that. So it's it's good. It's a good
sized pool house whatever. So you like, I have that
back there, and people have used my pool for photo shoots.
It's like I just got my privacy thing up now.

But people have quietly none videos and stuff, or they
just like to swim naked. This Yeah, people just swim
naked back there all the time. But your own pool.

someone else naked, and then like I don't know the
ages of some people that might be at or else's house,
and I'm like, yeah, let's and then but now I
got my privacy fence up, and I'm like, you can,
you can go wild, just have some you know, just

whatever you do, it's consensual. I don't care.
