Hey, hey, everybody, how's it going. This is Wendy Selvick
with the Oily Academy podcast and this is the Business
podcast edition. Hey you guys, So today I want to
explain to you about the yl Insights app that young
Living does, and this is such an improvement in our business.
(00:22):
We have not always had this. Most of my business
life and your living I have not had it, and
so even I am getting used to using it. But
this will really help you. If you get used to
using this at the beginning of your business, it's going
to help you tremendously. So you want to go to
the app store and you want to search for y
l Insights, and then you're going to download that app. Now,
(00:46):
what y l Insights will do for you, let me
just see here at multiple multiple things. So the first
basic thing is it's going to give you an estimate
of your paycheck every month. So if you you know,
you've signed up a few people, you're not quite sure,
you want to go look. Go look On the home page,
(01:06):
it has an earning snapshot and it's going to tell
you what rank you're at and how much your estimated
earnings will be. It also has a projection thing, and
it'll say, okay, what are my earnings at another rank?
If I were to rank up this month you click that,
it's going to show you because you get paid on
more levels, it's going to pay you know, show you
what your estimated payment would be. It has next rank qualification,

so that's going to tell you what you need to
do to get to the next rank, which is always
very helpful. And then it tells you your team size,
how many new team members you have, shows you your
little to rewards order, what day it's going to process,
and what right now the total amount you have in there.
It's you know, if it's not processed yet. It has
(01:51):
a statistics tab. Okay, so you go to the statistics tab.
This is going to give you team information, volume information,
and a lot of other information that Now, some of
this stuff when you're brand new, there's not going to
be a lot to look at here. As you grow,
this stuff is all going to fill in and be
very helpful. I do want to point out in the
(02:12):
top left hand corner, it'll tell you the current month
you're in, and if you want to go back and
look at the previous month, you just click on that
month and a little thing will come up. It'll show
you previous months. You can go scroll back to and
hit apply and it'll show you all of these statistics
and everything for that month. So that's very helpful too.
You can go to your team at the bottom. You

go to the team button and it's going to show
you all the members of your team. Now you can
use the filters and you can organize and look at
team members by some of these filters, which can help you.
For example, I want to see all of the new

team members enrollments for the month, So I'm going to
go to enrollments and then new team member let's see
in fast start maybe, and then I hit apply and
it's going to show you show me all the people
who are in that category. It also under let's see
(03:16):
under sharing, it gives you a QR code for this
is your custom sign up link. It just gives it
to you right away. You can hit share and you
can forward that to someone their message or their email
or whatever. So if you're you have this app on
your phone, you're talking to someone and they want to order,
you can pull this link up real quick and you
can share it to their phone and they use that

QR code and they can sign up and it connects
them with you. Then under the more tap, this is cool.
They've these are reports that you can pull. Now a
lot of you can do this in the back office,
but a lot of people don't know about this. They
don't know how to pull reports. And unless you have
a business building person up you who has done them
(04:01):
before and can tell you how to do them, it's
you're just people don't know what to do. So this
they have some of the most common reports you would
want to pull already and just right here with a
little button. It's awesome. So you go to this more tab,
go to reports, and like, okay, you click on new
team members. This is going to show you all the
new team members you have this month. You may want
(04:23):
to send them a welcome You might want to send
them an email. You might want to send them a book.
I mean, you're going to have come up with your
own system. What are you going to do with my Okay,
I have business builders under me who are building their
own teams who I don't want to interfere with, So
I'm not going to just send out like a book
to everybody who shows up on this report. But the
(04:46):
people that I enrolled. I am going to I've got
my own system for the people I enrolled, and so
I am going to look for those people and I'm
I can find them right here under new team members.
Now you can do one called many misser and that
shows you all the people who like maybe they're maybe
(05:07):
their order processed, but something was out of stock and
it got pulled out of the cart and they don't
even know it, but they haven't met the minimum spending
to get a check this month, and they're missed, they're
going to miss out on their money. Like this is
very valuable. You click on this report and it'll tell
you who those people are, so that at the end
of the month, if they're still missing money, you can
(05:29):
contact them and say, you know, hey, Jane, you're you're
short by like twelve dollars and if you place a
quick order with twelve dollars, then you're going to, you know,
make your paycheck this month. But otherwise something happened. I
don't know what, but I just don't want you to
miss out. Like that is a really valuable report to have.
(05:51):
It also a report that shows you unprocessed loyalty rewards orders.
So sometimes a credit card will expire, they don't know it,
and their order is not has not gone through and
they didn't catch it, and so they might lose their
Loyalty rewards points like this is really a great one
to check every month as well, just to make sure
(06:12):
people know. I text people and just say, hey, I
don't know if if you knew this or not. Maybe
you put your order on hold, and it's totally fine
if you did, but I just don't want you to
lose your points. If you didn't know about it, you
know your order didn't go through, so you might just
log in and check check on it, check on the
credit card, and make sure that what you want to
(06:33):
happen happens. That's kind of how I talk to people
about it. I don't want them to feel like I'm
hovering like, oh, you didn't fight your order. I don't
want to do that to them. I just want but
I don't want them to find out it didn't process
and now they like lost their Grace month, or if
they'd had a Grace month before, now they've just lost
all their points. You know. I don't want that to

ever happen anyway. It has a couple other things as well,
it'll tell you who on your team is an executive
or higher this month, who are new rankers are ranking
to a new you know, a new rank for the
first time. So you can congratulate those people, you can
send them a gift, you can acknowledge them in your
(07:13):
Facebook group, that kind of thing. So these and then
it has the ability to create other kinds of reports.
So this is really valuable and just one of those
things you kind of want to get used to looking
at and using and as you grow, you'll use it
more and more. I use it more now that I have,
(07:34):
you know, hundreds of people that I'm looking at, versus
when I just, you know, maybe had ten or twelve
people it Sometimes i'd look at it and there's you know,
I'd look at well, I was pulling the reports in
the back end of the time. Now it's on an app.
It's so great. So I just wanted you to know
about this. This is a very valuable tool if you
are a business member, and you might just write this
(07:56):
down in your notebook, you know, to make sure that
you're every month you're checking your yl Insights app for reports,
especially at the end of the month. And then they
also have a products tab, so you can you can,
oh search, let me see, I've got it pulled up.
Let me search nings you're red. So the products, all
the nameser products come up. I can click on one
(08:17):
and it tells me the name, the wholesale and retail price,
and the product ID number. So if I was, I guess,
wanting to find out how much something costs for somebody,
I would have that ability right here from the app.
So there you go. It's a simple tool but something
that's really valuable, and if you're going to be doing
(08:39):
a business, I highly recommend you figure out how to

explain to you about the yl Insights app that young

We have not always had this. Most of my business
life and your living I have not had it, and
so even I am getting used to using it. But
this will really help you. If you get used to
using this at the beginning of your business, it's going
to help you tremendously. So you want to go to
the app store and you want to search for y
l Insights, and then you're going to download that app. Now,

what y l Insights will do for you, let me
just see here at multiple multiple things. So the first
basic thing is it's going to give you an estimate
of your paycheck every month. So if you you know,
you've signed up a few people, you're not quite sure,
you want to go look. Go look On the home page,

it has an earning snapshot and it's going to tell
you what rank you're at and how much your estimated

If I were to rank up this month you click that,
it's going to show you because you get paid on

top left hand corner, it'll tell you the current month
you're in, and if you want to go back and
look at the previous month, you just click on that
month and a little thing will come up. It'll show
you previous months. You can go scroll back to and
hit apply and it'll show you all of these statistics
and everything for that month. So that's very helpful too.
You can go to your team at the bottom. You

go to the team button and it's going to show
you all the members of your team. Now you can
use the filters and you can organize and look at
team members by some of these filters, which can help you.
For example, I want to see all of the new

team members enrollments for the month, So I'm going to
go to enrollments and then new team member let's see
in fast start maybe, and then I hit apply and
it's going to show you show me all the people
who are in that category. It also under let's see

under sharing, it gives you a QR code for this

to you right away. You can hit share and you
can forward that to someone their message or their email
or whatever. So if you're you have this app on
your phone, you're talking to someone and they want to order,
you can pull this link up real quick and you

them with you. Then under the more tap, this is cool.
They've these are reports that you can pull. Now a
lot of you can do this in the back office,
but a lot of people don't know about this. They
don't know how to pull reports. And unless you have
a business building person up you who has done them

before and can tell you how to do them, it's
you're just people don't know what to do. So this
they have some of the most common reports you would
want to pull already and just right here with a
little button. It's awesome. So you go to this more tab,
go to reports, and like, okay, you click on new
team members. This is going to show you all the
new team members you have this month. You may want

to send them a welcome You might want to send
them an email. You might want to send them a book.
I mean, you're going to have come up with your
own system. What are you going to do with my Okay,
I have business builders under me who are building their

about it. I don't want them to feel like I'm

want to do that to them. I just want but
I don't want them to find out it didn't process
and now they like lost their Grace month, or if
