All I could hear is that clap. Who I am?
I'm good and this moment, I am great. I'm great,
I'm blessed, I'm grateful. I just can't even It's taken
all of this and I have been waiting for this announcement,
like people don't even understand trying to hold that in.
(02:18):
Like when I buy gifts and stuff, I just cannot wait.
I have to give it to somebody. Yeah, and it's
been killing me. But this, this is so dope, This
is so dope. I'm excited for this. It has been
a lot of stuff going on. I do want to
say one thing. There is something at least to our
(02:41):
old listeners, but also now our new listeners. There's something
I've I've told you and Dante about over time, and
it took me some months to work on. I said
I was working on a project. So I do want
to announce that that will be dropping soon. I'm finished
up with it, getting ready to put it out. But
(03:01):
it is a book. I have been writing a book
for months, okay, and people have been harassing me, like
you should, what's the info, the details? Tell me everything. Well,
it is a book on modeling, so that'll be coming
out very soon. I just wanted to put that out
there and let everybody know. Stay tuned for that.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
Let's go, let's go.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Congratulations, congratulations. Can't wait until that drops.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Dodey.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
How you doing, brother, I'm great, I'm happy, man, I'm
happy to be back. Robin. Does your book have a
title yet? Yes?
Speaker 5 (03:41):
It is called a Guide to Modeling. It is literally
step by step, like you cannot get.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Confused, okay, all right, yeah, I want you to just
shout it out in it and not give us the.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
Title if they follow me. If they follow me, they
would know.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
But we got mat but we got new listeners. And
I feel like I feel like I want to be
a pastor. Y'all right now, and so y'all know when
you go to a new church or after a service,
the past will be like if we got visitors, can
y'all stand up so we can see all the visitors?
I feel like if you a new listener, please, man,
(04:19):
just leave a review. We want to see y'all. We
want to know who y'all are. So just like when
you go to a new church in the pastor say
stand up and wave your hand. If you're a new visitor,
we got somebody that you. That's how we feel about
our new listeners. Man, Please like, shout us out on
ig follow us back on Facebook, post something on Twitter
(04:41):
when the episode come out, just so we can know
who our new listeners are.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
Please, yes, yes, absolutely everywhere. Actually yes. So now, before.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
We get into some of the stuff that we're going
to talk about today, for people who may not be
familiar with this show, we're going to give you a
crash course and what the experience that you're going to have.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Now. Sometimes we have a bit of a reputation. We
are known.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
In some circles as one of the city's most dangerous shows,
and it's we don't go out looking for stuff.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
Stuff just happens. We've had times where we have interviews
because we have a lot of interviews.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
We don't have one today, but we have a lot
of interviews on the show. And sometimes people come on
this show and they make news by certain things that
they say, and it goes viral and all kinds of
news reports off of it, and all that kind of
stuff that has happened to us multiple times on a
national level as well as on a local level and
(05:54):
on an international level. That Miss O'Malley is very aware.
Then we'll talk about that briefly in a second. And
then there are times where some of the things that
we say may be a little controversial. It's always true,
it's always real. We care very much about being accurate.
(06:21):
We it means a lot to us that we can
back up everything we say.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
So we're not.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
One of these people that just they're just flippant with
the things that we say.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
We don't just throw stuff out there.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
But we're strong in our opinions and strong in the
things that we believe in.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
And you know, sometimes that can ruffle a feather or two.
The only thing I can guarantee you is that it's
always going to be entertained. That's what I can guarantee you.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
There are times where one of us, in particular Dante,
Let's say some things that will make us all a
little nervous because it's.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Like, oh boy, he went there so you're going to
have a good experience.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
You're going to be entertained, you're going to learn something
for sure, and you're going to be exposed to information
and guests that you may be aware of.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Or may not have been aware of before.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
So those are some of the things that you can
look forward to listening to the Outlaws Radio Show. Now,
to go back to what I said earlier about the
time that we went international, that.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Was all because of Robin.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Robin, why don't you recap for our current listeners and
our new listeners the story that went around the world.
Speaker 5 (07:53):
Ay, yes, the good old Daily Mail. We went pretty
worldwide and didn't even know it. It was accidental when
we figured when we found this out. Actually, so it
was just a little you know, Okay, you know, I
took my daughter and to get checked for a cat
(08:14):
bite and a lot of people didn't like the story
because of how I handled it, and by you know,
she was asked questions of things. And you can find
those articles, you know, just google my name. You know, yes,
(08:35):
you can google my name and find those articles. But
basically they asked, you know, my child at the time.
I don't know if she was ten. I think yes,
and they just asked her questions that they should not
have asked her, you know, such as is she doing
adult activities or doing drugs or smoking. They asked me
(09:02):
to leave the room before asking these questions, and I
didn't know that they were going there. So that's why
it went worldwide. A lot of people came from my neck.
I mean, yes, you know whatever.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
Whatever. It went super viral like it was.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
It got first of all, the clip itself got over
one hundred thousand. Last I checked, it was like over
one hundred thousand views.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
That's number one. Number two.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
It went news like news outlets started covering it.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
Then it hit the Daily Mail in the UK.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
It hit I forget the name of the outlet, but
it hit it in.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Australia.
Speaker 5 (09:48):
So it was like three four different articles from many
different places. I don't even remember all where it was.
It was like, what was it like Canada or something?
Where where where all was it was?
Speaker 4 (10:01):
It was the.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
UK, it was Australia, I believe Canada to.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
It. It was everywhere, man, it was everywhere.
Speaker 5 (10:12):
And the funny part is is I actually googled my
own name off of like based off of like one
of those Facebook things that you share on your story
and it's like search up your name and see what
pops up type of thing. Yeah, or I've seen the
thing on my story from Facebook, and so I go
google my name to see what pops up if I
(10:33):
search my name. So I contact Darvy O and I'm like,
I noticed, was you? And he was like, no, that
wasn't me. That wasn't me this time. I usually got
things up my sleep, but that wasn't me this time.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
Yeah. No, Like I didn't know, and I knew the
clip had went viral because it is as of right
now I'm looking at it right now, over one hundred
and thirty eight thousand views on that on that clip,
because I put a clip out of her telling the
story on the show, and the clip did what he did,
(11:08):
and from there people started reporting on it, and so
that that was crazy.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
That was insane.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
So you know, we didn't find week it was.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Yes, it was weeks lay. As a matter of fact,
me and.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
You had went to a bar and that was the
day we went to a bar. Was the day we
found out. And we were just going to you know,
just catch up and toss back a couple and you
was like, hey, did you do this?
Speaker 4 (11:43):
And I was like, no, No, that.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
Was Sarkil is known for doing things like that. I
just want to put that out there.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
He's known for doing things like that.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
He's just like, he's.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
Full of surprise.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
It's okay.
Speaker 5 (12:01):
So I expected that it was him, but it was
not him this time.
Speaker 6 (12:06):
Cli the clip was me, but the the reporting was
not big. So we've had we've had all kinds of interactions,
all kinds of stuff that we've gotten into. Uh, Dante,
what's one of your memories from the show since you've
been on the show that the that the new audience
(12:31):
should be aware of.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Oh man, we got so many. If I had to
give you, like my favorite, it would be probably Calves
media days, just talking to some of those guys. I
know that's a sore spot for our city right now,
but those are those are probably my favorite memories. Are
(12:55):
most memorable though, Oh probably when Frank Jackson Mayor Frank
Jackson former mayor Frank Jackson came on the show and
called certain members of the community who liked to griff
on tragic events that happened when he came on the
show and called them tragedy pimps that was huge. Yeah,
(13:20):
other memorable interviews, I mean we've had We've had some
some very interesting guests. We've had some newly elected, newly
twice elected. We've had and I know, you know, people
have strong opinions about this administration. I'm sure we all
(13:41):
do one way or the other. But I mean, I
think it was pretty cool like we had at the
time he was just JD. Vance and he was running
for Senate and then he became Senator Vance and now
he's Vice President Vance, so you know.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
That was very interesting.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
We've had the vek ramaswame on. He's running for governor
now we'll talk about that later. We've had quite a
few candidates from both sides of the aiulet on on
our show. So I mean it's it's been a lot.
But I would make my favorite that are like personal.
(14:18):
I would probably say kas Media Days. If you've listened
to the show at all before, you know that, you
know that's my lane. I am afflicted with being a
sports junkie. How I describe it, Yeah, that is if
there are people, you know, some people like to wake
up and you know watch soap. I am afflicted with
(14:41):
being a sports junkie. So Cavs media days have been
very special to me. But I would say our biggest moment,
at least for me in my eyes, when Mayor Frank
Jackson came on the show and just you know, he
kind of laid into people right like you know, this
was this was during the time when and you know,
you had a lot of police violence and you have
(15:06):
some people who are trying to fix the issue and
other people who are essentially grifting off the issue, and
you know, the former mayor in the city came on
and was basically just like, you know, yo, you guys
are tragedy pimps, and you don't help the situation. But
that was one time where we went viral and made
people very uncomfortable. And it wasn't my fault, you know.
(15:30):
I mean we've I mean, shoot, we've had you know,
we had then at the time he was candidate for mayor.
Mayor bib Now yeah, he's a you know, he's about
to lose the Browns. Congratulations mayor. You know, like, we've
had a lot of interesting people on. I don't think
(15:53):
he would come back on again. He wouldn't come back on.
And it's not my fault because uh, this was very
early in his tenure when the police were leaving, and
then there was a snow issue and I full disclosure
of not a resident of Cleveland. I live in a
(16:14):
different county now, so the person who lived in you.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Were still in the county at the time I was.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
But I didn't. I didn't make the mayor uncomfortable at
this point, someone else on the show did. Darby ome
and I think that's why he won't come on. So
now that he won't come on, I can be sarcastic
and say congratulations, mister mayor on losing. The Browns want
a bang up job there. So yeah, I think those
(16:43):
are some of our I think our most memorable shout
out to Mayor Frank Jackson just absolutely taking a flamethrower
to certain people's agenda.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Yes he did, he did, and that that definitely went viral.
That got I don't know how many times people got mad.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
They did a press conference against his words on this show.
It was crazy.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
But I will say this, There was another moment, and
then we'll go to break and jump into tea time
and I'll explain what that is.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
In the second. There was a time and this was
recently and this is another reason.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Why Kwanta mayor may not be happy with this show.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
When the whole Philip McHugh thing happened.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Oh and Cleveland counselman Richard Starr came on the show,
we talked about it.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
He was opposed to.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Philip McHugh's hiring, and full disclosure, we were opposed to
Philip McHugh's hiring, talked about it.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
Comments that the.
Speaker 7 (17:49):
Counselman made went viral and got some coverage, and it
was part of it wasn't the thing that started the shakeup,
but it was part of the shakeup that eventually led
to mister McHugh deciding to leave that position.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
So and that gives you another example of our heart
as well. Like we we care about Cleveland, we care
about the community, We care about the people, We care
about regular folks. We care about the folks who come
from where we come from, and we speak up when
there are issues, When there are things where we feel
(18:34):
like the people are not being treated properly, we are
going to speak up about it.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
And sometimes people don't like that, and that's okay. But
the ones who do like it, the ones who do.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Appreciate it, are the ones who rock with us, and so,
like Dante said, from a political stample, we've had all
kinds of people. We've had Democrats, we've had Republicans, We've
had a host of people come on this show. We've
had athletes, we've had celebrities, we've had actors, we've had authors,
we've had all kinds.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
Of folks, and we're going to We're going.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
To continue to do that because what I like to
do and what we like to do is use the
access that we've been blessed to have and bring that
to you, bring that to the people because a lot
of times there are rooms where decisions are being made
that the average person doesn't get access to, even though
(19:31):
those decisions are going to impact the average person's lives.
So we feel like it's very important for us to
bring you all in the room, so to speak, and
use our access to do that. And also, people know
that if you screw with the public, if you're doing
(19:52):
things that are unfair and unjust, you're probably going to
hear from us. So that is something else that been beneficial, uh,
for the community as far as this show is concerned.
Speaker 4 (20:05):
But it's not all the stuff we talk about.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
We do lighten it up sometimes and I don't I
don't know if it's gonna be like this week, but
t Time with Roe is coming up. And what te
Time with Roe is is our entertainment, news and celebrities segment.
Speaker 4 (20:21):
That is ran by Miss O'Malley. So stay tuned.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
We're gonna get to that in just a little bit.
You're listening to the Outlaws.
Speaker 4 (20:28):
Yo, what's up?
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Bring the noise right here, Chuck, Republic enemy number one.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
You are tuning the Outlaws Radio.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
Show, Real talk, real conversations.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
We got the heat.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
Yeah, this is.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
The Outlaws Radio Show.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
Welcome back, Welcome back.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
You're listening to the Outlaws, and now is the time
of the show that we like to call it Tea
Time with Roe.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Turn it up.
Speaker 5 (21:05):
The latest celebrity news and gossip.
Speaker 6 (21:10):
It's Tea Time with Row on the Outlaws Radio Show.
Speaker 5 (21:15):
Welcome back to Tea Time. It has been some time.
It has been weeks. We have not been on here.
But listen, there's been a lot going on, like so
much to even cover, I promise you has been so much,
Like my goodness, what do I even what do.
Speaker 4 (21:31):
I even talk about?
Speaker 5 (21:32):
Because there's so much, But there is something really big
in the headlines right now. And if you don't know
about this story, you are under a rock. So if
you know who Diddy is, which is Sean Diddy Coombs, okay,
And I've talked about this on the radio show before
(21:54):
maybe once or twice, there situation with him and so
he's got a lot He used to date who eventura
she is an R and B singer. So today was
actually the trial of Diddy and it just wrapped up
today for the second This is the second week, and
(22:15):
I think there's gonna be it's like it supposed to
be like a total of eight weeks if I'm not mistaken,
and it's already yeah, it's already gotten hot, Like it's crazy.
A lot of the things that's come out is wild.
I've seen videos or I've seen clips and stuff where
it was like his twin girls, they they're teenagers, they
like my kids, my kids age, And they went to
(22:38):
a couple of those Chord hearings and they had to
hear a lot of the things, like the alleged things
that people we were stating about their father. And I
just first and foremost, I just that shouldn't they shouldn't
have been there. But that's for you know, it's for
another day. But as of yesterday it was the second
week of this trial. There is a total of eight
(23:00):
weeks altogether. Kid Cutty was on the stand to testify
along with a think a few others, but Kid Cutty,
he was talking about he was in a relationship with
Cassie Ventura as well at one point after she had
dated P Diddy. But so while he was dating Cassie,
(23:24):
from what I'm hearing the alleged of all, I can't
I can't say if whether it was real or not real.
I'm just stating what was being said. So a lot
of the Fed Federal prosecutors were saying, like for decades
that Combs abused, threatened, coerced, blah blah blah, all this
to different women. And a lot of people are saying
(23:45):
that that's one of the things that he did to Cassie,
or at least that's what they're saying in the courtrooms allegedly.
So when Kid Cutty got onto the stand waiting that
you know, he dated her back in twenty eleven, and
that was like right after she split up from P Diddy,
(24:07):
So right after they split up. He testified that after
Colmes found out mm hmmm. So after P Diddy had
found out about it or whatever, he went looking for him,
he broke into his home and then because he decided.
What Kid Cutty said is that he decided to ignore
(24:27):
P Diddy and not respond to any text messages or
him breaking into his home, like he ripped allegedly ripped
open gifts, like there was things missing, the dog was
locked up in one of the rooms like all kinds.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
It's crazy.
Speaker 5 (24:43):
But after that, because he went pay him no attention,
did he was like okay, bet basically and he turned
around and he allegedly set Kid Cutty's Porsche on fire.
And sometime later, some years later, allegedly P Diddy, you know,
(25:04):
he stated that Pete Diddy apologized to him, and he
was like, whoa, I cannot believe what I'm hearing right now,
Like he actually apologized to him, and they both at
one point came an agreement that they said that Cassie
Ventura played them both.
Speaker 4 (25:21):
Wow, it sounds like.
Speaker 5 (25:24):
This girl is a little messy. It sounds like she
a little messy. I mean, there's a lot of different
things and details that's in this story, like that that's
been stated that things that she was allowing being done
to her, stating like she was sleeping with paying to
sleep with strippers or something of the sort while P
(25:45):
Diddy watched and that's when the girl. His daughters were
in the room when they heard that part there. There's
just so many different stories about this, but one thing
that it's, you know, this whole story boils down to,
is it seems like it's mostly talking about abuse and
things in that nature, but not of what his charges are.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
I hate these these cases because it's always like, damned
if you do, damned if you don't. You know, no
matter how you see the issue, you know there's you're
gonna have some backlash one way or the other. And
for me, the question isn't is did he a good person?
I think it's obvious that he is not. The question
(26:33):
isn't is did he a abuser?
Speaker 4 (26:36):
We saw him do that. We all know that he
is right.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
He beat the crap out of her on and we
saw it on video.
Speaker 4 (26:47):
So is he an abuser? Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (26:51):
The question is to your point, Robin and Dante, I'm
gonna come to you after this. The question is did
he do what they are accusing him of doing? When
you accuse someone. When you indict someone under a Rico statute,
that's a very specific charge, and Dante's going to talk
(27:13):
about that a little bit in a second. My concern is,
if you are someone who wants Diddy to face justice,
I don't know if you're gonna get it in this case.
Because from everything that I've seen so far, and I've
(27:34):
been following the case fairly regularly, I think it's at
least a fifty to fifty chance that he beats these charges,
and his defense attorneys have been very effective in making
the argument that what you saw on the video is
(27:54):
domestic violence. That is a crime, and he is not
charged for that crime. He is charged for these other things,
and that is where I think the problem lies. If
you charge him with domestic violence, open and shut case, that's.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
Done over with. We all know he did that.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
But what he's being charged with, I don't know, man,
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
I don't know if they can prove it. Dante, break down.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
Real quick briefly for people who aren't familiar with what
a Rico case is, and then give your thoughts on
the direction of the case.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
So, and I'm not a lawyer, and I don't play
one on television, so please forgive me if I'm wrong.
But usually, or actually, a rico cas is usually for
criminal enterprises, right, and it is a way to combat
a criminal conspiracy.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Right.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
So I believe it's what racketeering. It's a way to
be able to charge everyone involved with involved in a
criminal enterprise as one. And so this became a big
thing with the mafia because a long time ago, with
(29:25):
the mafia, you were only getting low level offenders and
the bosses and the real power players were able to
stay out and crime never you know, there was never
a way to take a bite out of the crime.
And so what this did was this gave the government
an opportunity to say, okay, well, if I can prove
(29:45):
that you guys are connected, then I can charge all
of you guys as one. And so that's there. The
way this was presented was that Diddy's businesses are just
fronts for criminal activity, and one of those criminal activities
(30:06):
would have been sex trafficking, and so I believe that's
one of the one of the predicates. So the thing
that confuses me the most is how is he basically
a sole defendant. I'm not sure because again, I'm not
(30:29):
a lawyer, but I you know, in how many high
profile cases have you ever seen a rico where there's
no co defendants? It's just one guy. So to me,
that just makes me think, like, I don't really know
how strong the case is against him. And obviously that's
not a defensive Diddy. I mean, obviously he seems to
(30:52):
be a degenerate with a lot of money, probably a
very solicious individual, not a good person, like you said, DARVYO.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
But is he.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Is he running a criminal conspiracy? I don't know, and
I haven't followed the cases closely to no, like I
haven't been. Unfortunately, it's there are no cameras, which is unfortunate, right.
I feel like a trial this big and of this
(31:25):
like the level of interest should be open to the
public in terms of just like cameras. I mean, OJ
was and maybe this isn't as big as OJ, but
I feel like, you know, we should have some level
of transparency and it's open to the media, but it
should be at least live stream, right, NPR should have
a should be able to get a stream up. But
(31:47):
so I don't know if he's gonna walk.
Speaker 4 (31:49):
I mean it.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
From everything we hear and maybe this again, we don't
know what's all happening inside the court, but it just
seems to be a slow trickle lot of information about
you know, these freak offs and his degenerate sexual behavior,
and you know, does he like men? Does he like women?
You know, what kind of nasty stuff was Cassie doing
(32:14):
to all these men? You know, stuff like that. But
I'm not really hearing stuff about like this business was
a front so that they could do X, Y and Z,
or that business was a front so that he could
traffic women and hide money, because that's usually the type
of conversation you're having when you're talking about a rico.
(32:35):
So I don't know where this is going, but you know,
it seems to just be like a constant flow of
you know, degenerate behavior coming out, which in and of
itself is like, is that actually criminal? If these are
willing participants, like they brought out the me, they brought
(32:55):
out the people, you know, apparently some of these people
that participated in the freak offs, and it's like, well,
I mean, if these people are being paid, are you
I don't know, right, I don't know. I think Cassie
is very clearly a victim here. But I also I
think there's a level of opportune. I don't even want
(33:18):
to say that, but I mean, I just think that
we're in this This case is really interesting because I
don't really know where this is going. It doesn't seem
like we're hearing about criminal behavior right now at least.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
Yeah, that's that's the concern. I think.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
We know that he engaged in criminal behavior, we saw
that on video. But the criminal behavior that we know
he engaged and is not the criminal behavior that he's
being charged with.
Speaker 5 (33:44):
Correct, But there are there were topics though. There were
topics though that I was I was reading about where
he allegedly I'll say that where he they he and
others were like, uh, drugging women, not just women, but
young women, young girls, teen girls at these freak offs
(34:09):
or you know, things of the sort where they these
these girls would be are counted as party favors. They'd
be drugged, and allegedly they are being trafficked and moved
around and things of the sort. At least this is
what I've read. So obviously I don't know. I don't
know any of it. So this is again allegedly, but
(34:33):
so there are things that stories of that sort that
state that he is doing things in that nature. It's
not just of him abusing Cassie and being a freak.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
And that's why they put our testimony out there front
and center, because you know, it's a way to she's
a sympathetic victim, right, so like she's a sympathetic victim,
you can some of her stories, I guess, have just
been so appalling. H to pay him to be a monster,
which you know, I have no issue believing that he is.
(35:08):
Mike would always draws my ire with this. It's like
anytime you hear about a Rico, it's it's usually more
than one person. Unless we're just saying he's the head
of this all, we're just we're after him only. But
usually and I don't know, Darbio, maybe you know more.
I haven't heard of that. And again I'm not a lawyer, so.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
Well, I think I think the issue and like to
to Robin's point where Robin and we got a couple
of minutes here and then we'll wrap up up to
what Robin was saying, like I've.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
Heard all those things too, but I haven't.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
Heard many of those particular stories that she referenced come
up in the trial, and maybe they have and I
just missed it.
Speaker 4 (35:53):
But there is a.
Speaker 5 (35:56):
To bring it up.
Speaker 2 (35:58):
Well, if they refuse to bring it, that means they
can't prove it. Because if you're the prosecution and you
have those arguments, you have those case, you're going to
bring it up if you think you can prove it.
Speaker 4 (36:11):
And so and that goes to the point that I
was getting ready to make. We live in this.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
Social media everything I say is right because I said
it world that when you go into a court of law,
you see that things are very different, Like you can't
just throw stuff out, like you gotta be able to prove.
Speaker 4 (36:31):
What you say, what you're allegend. And this is where
the issue comes.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
In because the case, the charges, as Dante referred to,
the charges that we're hearing, and.
Speaker 4 (36:47):
The behavior that is being.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Displayed in court, they don't match the charges so far. Now,
this is supposed to be a long trial, so things
could They could sometimes the prosecution waits a little bit
and then drop a bomb on you in the middle
of the case.
Speaker 4 (37:07):
That could happen, so things could change.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
More evidence could come out to show that he was
a trafficker using his business because the Rico case that
they indicted him under is basically them saying that he
was using his company as a criminal enterprise. That's a
(37:30):
very specific charge. That's not saying that he's a deviant.
That's not saying that he's a freak. That's not saying
that he's an abuser, that he's a domestic violence abuser.
That's not saying that he's in love with baby oil.
That's not saying any of that. That is saying he
used his company as a criminal enterprise. And the concern
(37:56):
that I have and the concern that anybody who wants
to see just this happened, including for the victims, because
we know.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
Like Dante said, Cassy was a victim.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
We saw, we saw what he did, and you know
that probably wasn't the first time, right, so we know that.
But if you're someone who cares about justice, if this
is a situation, and I don't know, we'll see what
the outcome of the trial is.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
But if he gets off on this pause, if he
beats this case.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
Definitely pause because because it gets off on a lot,
it seems had.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
To put a pause there because of who we're talking about.
But if he beats this case.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
Number one, justice isn't served because he wasn't charged with
the things we know he did. But also it's another
when when prosecutors overcharge, that allows sometimes in some cases,
that allows guilty people to go free, because the issue
(38:59):
is not about when you're in a court of law
and you gotta be under oath and the jury has
to make a decision beyond reasonable doubt, you have to
be able to prove everything you're saying. And if you
overcharge anybody, all that the speculation in the world doesn't matter.
Speaker 4 (39:22):
What matters is what you can prove.
Speaker 2 (39:24):
And if you can't prove it, he gonna walk, whether
he's guilty or not. And that's not justice. And so
that's the thing that I'm concerned about. There is no question,
like Dante said, there is no question that he's a degenerate.
He's clearly a degenerate. There is no question that he's
(39:46):
an abuser. There is no question that he is a jealous.
Speaker 4 (39:52):
Angry, not good man. We know those of you.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
Who've listened to this show for a long period of time,
you heard our interview with Greg Cating, who was the
detective who cracked the TUPAC and Biggie case.
Speaker 4 (40:05):
We know that Puffy was behind.
Speaker 5 (40:07):
Tupac's murder, y'all can hear that too? Go ahead, and
you checked that episode out.
Speaker 4 (40:14):
Right allegedly, so we know so.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
And I ain't no question about whether he's a good
guy or not. He's definitely not a good guy. But
if you're gonna bring someone up on federal charges, you
better be sure that you can prove beyond a reasonable
doubt what you're accusing him of, and if you can't,
then a guilty person is going to walk away free.
(40:40):
And that's all I got to say about that, Robin,
Do you have anything else or are you good?
Speaker 5 (40:46):
I'll just throw out the real quick at the end.
It's really nothing we can really talk about more so,
but I do want to say, I think the reason
that they didn't go into the whole domestic violence case
is because at one point, the whole reason this whole
thing started is because Cassie opened the case up and
she took a payout, And so that's why they kind
(41:07):
of I think why they avoided that altogether.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
Yeah, well, and that, but also to Dante's point, using
her as your star witness, with that with that information
being public knowledge, that could hurt you too.
Speaker 4 (41:23):
So yeah, it's just I don't know. We'll see. Maybe
the prosecutors are right, maybe they're maybe they're right.
Speaker 2 (41:29):
But if you're somebody that wants Diddy to go to
jail for the things that he's done, I wouldn't be
too confident in the case that they presenting right now.
But again, like Robin said, it's a long it's supposed
to be like eight weeks or so. This is going
to be a long trial. This ain't gonna be over
no time soon, so we'll see.
Speaker 4 (41:47):
All right.
Speaker 2 (41:48):
Next up, we have Dante's Hot Takes, and let me
explain what that is before we go to that.
Speaker 8 (41:57):
This is where Dante rents about oh anything, anything and everything,
whatever's on his mind, be it a political topic, sports,
topic of economic top whatever it is. Dante's gonna give
his opinion and it's probably going to have some heat
attached to it. That is why it is the hot
(42:18):
take segment. All right, stay tuned, we're gonna get to
that in just a little bit.
Speaker 4 (42:22):
You're listening to the Outlaws. Fuck up, chill, welcome back.

for those of you that have already done so, thank you,
oh so very much.
Speaker 4 (43:06):
And now is the time of the show that we
like to call it Dante's Hot Takes, telling the truth.
Speaker 3 (43:12):
Whether you like it or not, It's Dante's Hot Takes.
Speaker 1 (43:17):
On the Yet Lawns Radio Show.
Speaker 4 (43:22):
All right.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
So with the current administration, there were a lot of
ways that we could go to come back. Like I
thought about, maybe we kicked this off with a bang,
right the Trump administration just put forth an action against
Harvard University students. You know, we could have went that way.
(43:43):
We could have went a number of different ways here,
but I wanted to do something that's that's a little
bit closer to home because it's actually very concerning. So
we mentioned Vivek Robert Swami on the show, coming on
the show before and after his little stint with the
(44:03):
Doge team, he announced that he was going to be
running for governor since Governor Dwine is turned out, so
the governor races next year in the twenty twenty six
November we vote. So Vivek announced pretty early and the
(44:27):
GOP Ohio GOP has already endorsed him. Now, I want
to put this out there just to get ahead of this.
But political parties are technically private entities, right, they can
and they can't operate however they want to. Right, They're
not under any sort of law that they have to
(44:49):
do primary. They don't have to hold one. They don't
have their only laws with how they can handle money. Right,
So if they want to pick a candidate without letting
people vote in a primary, they are well within their
rights to do that. If they want to rig a primary,
technically they can do that as well. But I don't
(45:11):
believe that that's what's best for the people in our state.
I think that primaries are beneficial not only to the
people because people get to decide which candidate they want
to represent them in a general election, but I think
it's also beneficial for a candidate because you get to develop,
(45:34):
and you get to withstand attacks, and you get to
thwart attacks, and you get to strategize and campaign. I
think it's also good for the party. Usually there is
some apathy towards a political party when there is seen
to be some sort of underhandedness with a primary. So
(46:02):
I generally believe that primaries are beneficial for everyone involved
in Right now, Vivek Ramaswami would be unopposed as the
GOP nominee for next year's gubernatorial race. Now, there has
been talk of former Ohio State football coach and Youngstown
(46:23):
State football coach and athletic director and president Jim Tressel
maybe now that he is the lieutenant governor, there has
been talked that maybe he would run. He has stated
that even though the Ohio GOP has endorsed the VEK,
he believes that the people should decide who represents the
(46:47):
GOP in a statewide race. And again I agree with
with Jim Tressel. Now, I am putting my bias aside.
If you listen, before, you know, I'm a Buckeye, a lote,
So I am putting my bias aside on this just
to agree with the fact that this would be bad
(47:08):
for the state, in large part because the GOP nominee
is going to be a heavy favorite next November. This
is a state that has been one in pretty substantial
fashion by President Trump the last three presidential elections. We
(47:31):
have had a Republican governor for what is it now,
the last four terms, at least the last four terms
I know, going back to Kasik, and none of the
races have been particularly close.
Speaker 4 (47:45):
We have.
Speaker 1 (47:47):
A super majority in the GOP in our legislature, so
the GOP nominee is going to I would feel very comfortable.
There is a candidate we've you know, which we've talked about,
maybe Sherit Brown gets in that would be interesting, But
the other candidates that the Democrats would would put forth,
(48:09):
there is a very strong likelihood that whoever the GOP
nominee is is going to be the next governor of
the States. So a primary, a GOP primary, wouldn't possibly
be the best way for us to get the best
candidate that we would want. So I am wholeheartedly against
(48:32):
the GOP's nomination this early without a primary, because it's
almost like stacking the deck and that that isn't very democratic.
And again going back to last year, right, we saw
this in some of the apathy that Democrats had towards
the DNC when they felt that the DNC primary was
(48:57):
rigged and maybe Joe Biden shouldn't have been the nominee,
and that was an incumbent president. VEC Ramaswami has never
held political office here or anywhere, so this stinks in
my opinion. It reeks. He was endorsed by President Trump,
(49:18):
which does hold a lot of weight in the state.
But this isn't something that I'm looking forward to. And
I'm actually looking forward to and hoping that Jim Tressel
does hop in this race because I think it's good
for everyone involved.
Speaker 2 (49:35):
Yeah, I'm I wasn't a fan of what they did either.
I tend to agree with you that you want your candidates,
particularly on a state wide level, you want them to
be tested.
Speaker 4 (49:49):
I just I'm not a fan of what happened.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
Putting aside, even though yes, Vec has been on this
show before, but longtime listeners of this show, no, And
if you follow us on social media, you know.
Speaker 4 (50:04):
That there have been times where we have been.
Speaker 9 (50:06):
Very critical of Revet for some of the things, For
some of the things that he has repeatedly said and done,
particularly during his run for president, we have not been
shy about criticizing him for the numerous amount of ill advised, inappropriate,
(50:31):
and uninformed things that he has said about the black
community in particular.
Speaker 4 (50:38):
But putting that aside, the principle that.
Speaker 2 (50:42):
Dante is talking about, I completely agree with you want
if he's going to be the governor, and as Dante said,
this is a red state. So whoever the Republican nominee
is going to be, is going to be a prohibitive
favorite to be governor, unless you know, the world implodes
(51:02):
from now until November, which is which is a possibility.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
So unless he says something very racist, which is also
a possibility, that is.
Speaker 2 (51:14):
True, that is true there, so it is possibility. I
do believe that on the Democratic side, the only one
who would really be competitive and could beat him is,
in my opinion, is Shared Brown. I think Shared Brown
if he runs, and I've heard he's looking at it,
If he runs, he'd be he would be very competitive
(51:36):
because he him as a candidate, is probably the only
one that's uniquely positioned to capitalize on what Vivec's weaknesses are.
But having said that, if Vivek is going to be
the Republican nominee, which would make him the prohibitive favorite,
in normal circumstances to be the governor. He should absolutely
(51:59):
be tested. He shouldn't be able to just walk in
Scott Free. This is over a year before the election,
so he should not be able to just walk scott
Free into being the nominee.
Speaker 4 (52:15):
He should be tested. So I hope he gets that test. Dante.
Let him know how to follow you, sir.
