Welcome back to The Podcast That Rocked Weekly podcasts. It
talks about news of the world of rock, metal, alternative
and everything in between. My name is Luke, my name
is Alex, and we are short a Rowan who got
suck in Iril stuff at mccrut. He's still stuck in traffic.
If you can't pop on in time, that'll be great.
If not, it's okay. We blame New York traffic, and
if you've been to New York you know that's just
(00:56):
how it is sometimes brudal exactly. Thank you all for
tuning in social on YouTube for your patients. We had
to reconfigure OBS just to make sure for two people.
It was still good. However, we thank you all. If
we hit fifty likes, we'll hit a round a festival
rock or Flop and I'm going to have Alex take
it away for a month. From what you just saw
on our Warped Tour Long Beach giveaway, Alex, would you
(01:16):
like to pitch and tell people what's going on?
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Super excited about this, so we have decided to hook
you up with something super epic, much better than you know,
my awesome punchlines or puns or whatever the week brings.
We've got four VIP passes for Warped Tour Long Beach,
and we've got one over here somewhere. This is going
to be super super rad. So if you want to
go to warp Tour Long Beach, we've got four of

Speaker 3 (02:03):
I just put the hashtag in there for that as well.
I'll put the links out of the Instagram posts also
in the pin comment. Follow Alex on her Instagram. It's
on my Instagram feed as well, but just make sure
all that set. I'll put everything up there as well.
Thank you for tuning in. One question just to clarify,
is this a transferable win or if you win, those
are your tickets not transferable? You get you if you
want to answer, you should be the one to go.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Absolutely, And all of the contest rules themselves are on
my website. All of the links are everywhere they need
to be, so you have to be going to this.
You can't enter for somebody else. And it's for VIP
passes for warped tour Long Beach, so no accommodations, no travel,
but you want four VIP passes. The VIP we got
you covered.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
And as someone that went to the VIP for DC,
VIP is nice, like you have your own shaded seats,
your own private like eating areas and stuff viewing areas.
It's way nicer. Also, Long Beach got the better lineup
so weather yeah, so it won't be in the steak
weather either. Long Beach actually has slightly better weather than
we did. So you know what, there you go proof that.
(03:08):
Before we get to some of the news, I would
like to point out one more thing. This good boy
right here is on new medicine, so please send your
love to Ivan as he's trying to. He feels fine.
It's just stuff he has to deal with. He's in
the area of spitting out the pill when we put
it in his mouth, and then we put the pill
in food. He eats the food and spits out the pill.
(03:31):
This dog is He's so smart. This dog is incredibly
smart and crafty and cunning to our unfortunate dilemma. However,
he's fine. It's just stuff. To make sure he's going
to keep doing okay and sticking with us for a while.
His behavior has not changed. Please give Ivan your well wishes.
I know that I am the third most popular one
on the podcast tonight, Ivan Alex Luke.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
I know the hierarchy. That's fine.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
So Ivan beats us both by many more the players.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
That's fair. We'll make a poll for that later. Who
loves it the most? I'm an Alex, sir Luke. Also,
my wife is in here, my baby boy. That is correct,
So let me make sure I get this right. I
got to make sure I push the right buttons now
because our again, uh obs is a little wonky. But
we're going to go right into the bonkers news of
drama everywhere. That's happened for over two weeks now and
it still keeps unfolding. Is that the right one? That's
(04:25):
the right one? There we go. I figured it out.
So for those of you who are not aware about
the asking Alexandria shenanigans, and there have been quite a few.
It all happened last at DC Warp Tour. I did
not see this performance. It closed out one of the stages.
We're asking Alexandria did so poorly. The bassist to apologize,
and Danny Warstop was wearing all black. It was a
(04:46):
big mess. We've heard at very little since. Apparently the
accusation is the deleting comments, especially Danny Warstop about everything.
Ben Bruce leaving the band, what was it.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Speaker 4 (04:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Was it?
Speaker 3 (05:00):
We'll see you just be comfortably soon, wants to correct us.
That's fine, yeah, a year ago. And now we are
finally hearing from one Dennis Staff, the one time singer
when Danny Warstop left the band in the mid twenty tens,
had an album released with asking Alexander. We re toured
with them and then got the boots and we're finally
(05:23):
hearing all this and the reason why is because he
kept getting asked like it was unignorable about what he thought.
So as we go to the quote, I'm gonna read
this and some light censorship on here, but this is problem.
This is the first time, isn't it like that we've
heard from Dennis stuff about all this stuff, and the.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
First major time in like nine years. It's wild.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Yeah, So Dennis stopped for Metal Injection that copied it
from for about a year, they had the album all
that stuffed up to Instagram. Hey, fam, I don't even
know where to start here. I simply couldn't ignore the
AA situation that's circling around the internet right now. First
of all, let's say thank you for the amount of
love you've all showed me in the comments. I appreciate
you all. And he did get a lot of support
(06:08):
like say like, maybe we should get this guy back. Now,
let's get to it. I've seen the videos. I laughed
my tits off and I loved it one hundred that's
a very brittish thing to say. Like hundreds of people
mentioned in the comments, this is what this is what
they always sounded like live since the beginning of their career.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Oh goodness, ouch, I didn't even remember that far.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
I must have skipped over it. I was rolling on
the floor laughing years ago when Dandy wore s up
said that I was performing to his backing tracks, which
was an awful and one hundred percent fake statement. As
you could see in their Warptow twenty twenty five show,
Daddy is clearly having tons of backing tracks in their
live set and is clearly incapable of giving a good
performance to the people who paid money for their tickets
and simply wanted to see a good show. And yes,
(06:49):
they were using bad tracks at Warptoor. Yeah, they probably
a lot of bands do. Yes, they probably could have
used more death. Now that we know what's going on,
here's a few video for worms comparisons that show a
drastic difference, and he shows them on there on his
Instagram page. But unfortunately, I would never return to a
band that was still never presented a single royalty statement
(07:10):
for the Black album and has failed to pay out
and estimated five million dollars of my profit share as
stipulated in the contracts I signed with them at the time.
This includes revenue, some songs, authorship sales, streams deals, show
ticket some performance guarantees, and worldwide merchandise sales. I have
sent countless email request regarding this issue to the band
and their representatives, all of which have been ignored for
(07:32):
nearly nine years. That is insane.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Now.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
When I first saw the number, Alex, I don't know
about you. When I first saw the number, I was like,
there's no way five million, But that ain't hit me.
They still were a big name in the mid twenty
tens with the Black album, especially in Europe in UK,
and they were still touring and getting to add their revenue,
merch downside guarantees all that other stuff from the label.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Kind of I kind of had the exact same response.
I'm like, from streams, no way, there's no way. But
then you factor in okay, merchandise, album sales or streams,
you know, combined ticket sales. I mean, because we're talking
like guarantees and stuff from all the shows during that
cycle as well.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
So yeah, and he was not just remote like singing
and performing and didn't go on toward Note he was
the fronts of Asking Alexandria for over a year and
people did not hate that album. They did not you know,
when Danny was with we R Harlott and doing all
that stuff, that was fine. Fast forward to twenty twenty five,
roughly ten years later from when he let When Dennis
left Slash got kicked out. Boy thinks of change. Now
(08:41):
the argument is and from Dennis saying, why I've been
ghosted for nine years? Every time I've tried to talk
about this, I get nothing. By the way, I hope,
I hope he has an army of lawyers.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Now.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
It's just like I'll help you out. I'll you'll You'll
only have to pay me if you win. It's like, okay,
I hope that happens with the guy. However, we have
one reporter on the job who went back in time
nine years to talk to one Ben Bruce about what
happened when Danny Wars left got there and Dennis left
the left the band. What happened there? Everybody? Well, let's
(09:14):
find out from one Alex Gray, who interviewed Ben Bruce
in twenty sixty, how has it.
Speaker 5 (09:19):
Been working with Danny again.
Speaker 6 (09:21):
So I mean he leaves his dog wherever he chooses, clearly.
Speaker 5 (09:24):
But yeah, it's been amazing. It's been really really good.
Speaker 6 (09:27):
Everyone's stots about fans and included, so I couldn't really
ask for better, honestly, if.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
You please be on the ounceboard side.
Speaker 5 (09:38):
All right and trying to tour and live together essentially.
Speaker 7 (09:42):
No, no, really, no, like it's weird.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
It just felt it felt normal. Yeah, like getting the
brothers back together.
Speaker 6 (09:52):
Well, it was kind of like that was never even
a gap, like whenever someone brings it up, like it
just feels like I took a really long nap.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
Yeah, that's a good way to look at it. Do
you guys talk to Dennis at all?
Speaker 6 (10:03):
We hope from him all. He disappeared before Dan even
joined the band again, and we haven't heard from him since, okay,
but I'm sure we were. You know, I was worried
that it wasn't okay. But we know he's okay because
he's posting things on Instagram.
Speaker 7 (10:16):
So to which is it's.
Speaker 5 (10:18):
Fine yeah, or some not knowing that he's okay there?
Speaker 6 (10:21):
Yeah, exactly. You know, as long as he's a right
and doing whatever he's doing, that's all.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Right, disappeared, That's what happened. That's the word they choke, like, just.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
The way the way that I'm like, how can you
dismiss this entire chapter from your story? You know obviously
now with all of these things coming out and all
of this new stuff being brought to light again, I suppose,
because I mean that was in September of twenty sixteen,
so like right when Danny came back and they were
now just starting to get back into the groove, and
(10:52):
Dennis had a whole lot going on. We all know that,
you know, if you're a fan and you knew what
was going on. Dennis had a whole lot going on.
So for for them to just say, oh, yeah, we
haven't heard from him, We have no idea.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
It just felt like a nap and now he's gone,
and so it's just so cold and like just ignoring
such a big piece of your life. Is like, he
disappeared before Danny showed up. I'm sure he's fine.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
What, yeah, Like just the fact that they completely tried
to writing this, to write this off like, oh, yeah,
that didn't happen. But now everything's normal again, Danny's back,
We're doing asking Alexandria and it's the way it was
meant to be. Like, No, A lot of fans were
introduced to Asking Alexandria during that cycle. A lot of
fans like that, you can't just completely write it off.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
No, and they really tried, by the way for whatever reason.
But also I think about it the way described it,
but they just he describes it like an office coworker
that he knows on the other floor, not in your department.
Oh yeah, I worked with him for about a year.
I'm sure he's doing fine. That's how he treats it.
But this is a band that you're on the road with,
living with day in and day out. Wrote with you
(12:00):
who you signed a contract saying he'd get a lot
of his share and apparently he's owed a lot. Again,
this is a situation if what Denis staff is true
says is true and he has statements of like him
trying to reach out and getting ghosted, if he has
signs contracts that have not been delivered, not only does
he have a song case strong case, but ask guys,
Andrew is going to be done because wild Yeah, ask
(12:22):
Alexandre is not making five million a year right now?
I don't know how else to say it. I don't
know what they got paid for the Warp Tour appearance.
I can't imagine it would cover all that.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
I don't know. Well, yeah, it's just it feels ichy
and it feels weird, like just the band as a
whole can't just completely write something like that off. And
the way that it's all coming out now and Dennis,
the way that the fans are responding to Dennis and
reaching out to him, I like that because that's like, Okay,
(12:55):
you know, they're actually saying, you know, what you did
in the band at that time wasn't important. Whether they're
going to admit it or not, We the fans want
you to know it was important to us and with
what we got at Warp Tour, in our eyes, we
deserve better and you're better. So it's kind of cool
for Dennis to kind of get that recognition from the
fans with all of this happening.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
I hope it helps him, like whatever he does next,
whether geld get his money back or helps jump start
his next endeavor, whatever it is, I hope it helps.
It is nice to see that because I remember back
in the day when Danny rejoined people are like, Oh,
I didn't like that guy. Oh I kind of like,
I don't know if I want Danny back, that instinct
divide that always happens when a situation like this. It's
so weird to see this not only come full circle
(13:37):
but completely tidal wave to the other guy. And what's
wild about this too, the interview that we just showed
with Alex back in twenty sixteen with Ben Bruce. Yeah,
Ben Bruce is no longer with the band, so I
would love to hear more from someone who's still in
the band. And it's not gonna be dandy warstuff that's
gonna tell us.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
No, no, no no. And you know what, I would
also love to revisit this with them, like, Okay, what
do you have to say now? Almost ten years later?
What do you have to say now after we have
this conversation. Honestly, I would kind of like to talk
to Ben again too, like, yes, what do you think now?
Stepping away from all of this, that would be such
an interesting conversation to have.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
And also hearing Ben like not only about the dentist
stuff too, but here' zone it's just like what made
you finally want to leave? Because what we're seeing now
with Asking Alexandria. It cannot just be coincidence that this
nightmare performance and all the downward spiral that Asked alex
Ari's had over the like last three or four years
since pandemic, really and all that along with you leaving
(14:38):
cannot just be coincidental.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Yeah. No, there's got to be some sort of some
sort of friction behind the scenes. There's got to be.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Yeah, So I do feel bad for all the log
running Asking Alexandria fans. Speaking of log running Asking Alexandria fans,
I think I just heard someone pop in.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
Is that a Rowan?
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Oh, we're just finishing up, but we do want to
hear your thoughts too about the Asking Alexandria stuff.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
I told you guys row it would be here. Thank
you so much.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Yeah, sorry about that. Guy's work ran late and I
was rushing home. I took out a cyclist on my
way here. But I mean, like they're subhumans, So no,
no major losses there.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Wow, no uncalled for I ride my bike sometimes.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
Mister was also one of those guys in full full
in like full spandex you.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
Know, maybe gay were they wearing were they wearing like
a Buck Cherry T shirt because that I'll I'll be
okay with it. But otherwise I don't know. I don't
know if I want to be an accomplice. Any quick
thoughts while you're getting ready rowing about asking Alexandria and
Dennis stuff and all this nonsense before we move on.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Honestly, I'm with Dennis really just kind of like I've
been reading the statements. Really if they're if they're believed,
like you know, if they're like lad to be believed,
like you know, like I think asking Alexander really just
kind of really did him dirty.
Speaker 7 (16:00):
I feel like he was a fine vocalist.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
I wasn't like that crazy about the album that he
was on, but I mean, like he did his job,
and I mean, like, no one should not not get
paid for their work, right If he's being screwed out
of royalties and like you know, and just like tour revenue,
that's like that's just not cool. It's just it's just
so bad. It's just a bad look on them. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
I mean you pretty much Chack goed our thoughts too
without even being here, So that's we're definitely on the
same page. I think that's the public opinion as well,
not even general consensus but overall majority consensus, just most people. Yeah, yeah,
this is bad if I can be a little bit
more personal. And I feel like with both this and
with Warped Tour, I mean like.
Speaker 7 (16:41):
I made that one.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
I made that one comparison more Danny Worsnop like was
like Vince Neil how he is now? Honestly, I kind
of said that really just because like I feel like
I am just seeing a band I used to hold
in a little bit more higher regard when I was younger,
and now I'm kind of like seeing the fall from grace,
kind of like how a Motley kruefan could probably like
(17:02):
be seeing what they're like now. It's just like my god,
it's just like just stop.
Speaker 7 (17:06):
This is sad.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
It's it's concerning, and we may not know. We showed
Alex's interview with Ben as well, so up from twenty sixteen,
like and now it's just full circle.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
So you know.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
What, leave us your thoughts in the comments, everybody about
this nonsense for asking Alexandria, and I'm curious what happens next.
And also there's no way this is the end. Something
else is going to come out of this as well. Something.
Oh yeah, so we shall see. We got Vince Neil
(17:39):
coverage later. Don't worry everybody, We'll be brilliant. We'll be
brief on that one because gross. But anyway, we move
on to our ongoing debate on AI cringe or terrible,
because you could be cringing, be funny or cringing, be adorable,
(17:59):
but you could be cringe and terrible as well. So
maybe it's both. Band with millions of streams accused of
being AI generated, the band of the Velvet Sundown, now
on all streaming platforms, is gaining a lot of support
for a lot of different reasons. Now something, you might
be thinking, what do you mean an AI band? I
mean literally that it's disguised as a real band on
(18:21):
Spotify to a money. But this was all pretty much
done by some guy on a laptop and just making
two full albums with a fake band in fake images
and a fake bio. The bio is terrible too, by
the way, Like you can tell it's chat GBT, Like,
describe this band like a magazine would that type of thing.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Covers?
Speaker 7 (18:43):
Yeah, even the album covers. I listen.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
First of all, I'm angry. I haven't thought of that myself.
I could have been making bank with no effort.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Well yeah, I mean it's one things like you're taking
money from Spotify. That's not bad, right, No, but like
you're taking a lot of effort and energy from a
lot of other people. You're doing a lot or damage
than good. Just the intro for this band, there's something
quietly spellbounding about the Velvet Sundown. You didn't just listen
to them, you drift into them. That is some like
(19:11):
late or music magazine description of your new band that
like an author did no idea who they were talking about,
that was trying to just write something. That's what this is.
I've only heard one song.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
And I was done.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
I refuse to even try anything else out.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
I was just done. I got through two Okay, Alex,
have you done?
Speaker 7 (19:31):
It was terrible?
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Is it part of one count?
Speaker 3 (19:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (19:36):
Enough?
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Yeah, so okay, I we disagree. It's like the most
like it's the most stereotypical alt rock you could think of,
right it is.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
It's like when you have like the Hallmark Channel and
they're trying to do a nineties movie that's in the background.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
I was I was about to say, it's like some
sort of like indie, some indie like a twenty four
movie or something like that.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
Yeah, that's aislop is appropriate. But now this is what
many of us us, like, we're arguing about fearing for years.
This is the first like, Okay, it's a band with
two albums and it's an AI band, but it's good, right, No,
but you're gonna listen to it right out of curiosity
and to shame it. That still counts for me. I'm
(20:16):
gonna make money then, And that's the problem because this band,
according to Spotify, just on Spotify alone has over three
hundred thousand monthly listeners.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
Now jeez, see any publicity.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
And like I gotta ask, like, where are the people
who are listening to this getting at it?
Speaker 7 (20:36):
Isn't like do they like it that much?
Speaker 1 (20:38):
Because I mean, like if you're if you just like
all rock, there are so many other bands, so many
genuine bands that are real, that are real.
Speaker 7 (20:47):
And they make good music.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
It's something like it's something like this actually is exciting
and worth listening to. It's not like like when I
listened to The Velvet Sundown, it was like basically like
even listening to it, I could see my self just
writing out to AI, give write me an alt rock song. Yes, yeah,
it's exactly like that.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Yeah, And people have been doing that since like all
of these new AI models have been coming out. They're like, oh,
write me a song, and it's like somebody just took
it a little bit too far.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
And why why? I mean, like like I had to,
if I'm being honest, I had to, like because some
services that I that I use off for it. So
like you know, I do video production and I like
make videos for like clients and all that stuff, and
some services like in Vado they have they you can
generate your own AI music, but I use that for
(21:37):
like background stuff like lo fi like self that you
just like, it's just like it's just noise. I never
thought to like make like an actual song, let an
alone an album and trying to market this as like
a band, because I mean, like that that's just like
feels so disingenuine.
Speaker 7 (21:55):
I would feel disgusting doing that.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
Yeah, but some people don't care. Some people thrive, Oh disgusting.
Speaker 3 (22:02):
Well, these four gentlemen don't care. They're making a lot
of money. I hope, I truly hope there's no one
that actually looks like this in real life. I'm sure
there is.
Speaker 7 (22:09):
You would have to be a human.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
Care aren't you on the Velvet Sundown?
Speaker 1 (22:13):
No?
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Oh, that would be like, hey, aren't you wait a minute, aren't.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
You You're pretty much saying I look like an AI.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
So this is the snowball that's going to cause an avalanche.
In my opinion, it's there's going to be more. And
what sucks well is Spotify for those who are not aware,
just like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok. It's just like Spotify. You
could program bots to listen and play through your stuff.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
There's services people are going to see. To your point
about like it's gonna probably increase. People are probably going
to see it's like, oh, you could be successful doing this.
Speaker 7 (22:48):
You can make money doing this.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
So now like more people are like are We're probably
going to see an influx of this. I don't know
how effective it's going to be, but like, we're probably
going to see more of this, And I'm I hate
that about humanity.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Someone just brought go ahead, go ahead now, yeah, and
then we'll go back to that because one thing that
I've thought since you know, AI and technology, really the
Internet has been super all in our face, in our
daily lives, i'd say what post twenty ten, No, you
know what I'm saying. Anyway, in the past twenty ish years,
(23:20):
since we've had so much access to literally everything, any
band you can think of, all of the musicians, all
of the artists, and we have access to way more
of it. We're already completely oversaturated. Yes, yes, letting all
everybody have a platform. That's awesome, but we are to
the point where everything is already so oversaturated by real artists.
(23:45):
This is going to completely drown everything out, and real
artists will no longer have any chance of reaching that,
you know, top of the algorithm or the top of
the charts. It's going to be so gross to actually
find those real needles in a haystack.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
And yeah, it's like you're using you're using SEO when
it comes to making music, which I mean like it.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
We're all targeting the same keywords. It's all gonna just
like nothing nothing, It's all going to be completely drowned
out and oversaturated, worse than we've ever seen it. I
am so terrified for the future.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
Someone brought up a great point in the chat. You
have to go back to the nineties for all you younguns.
But this feels like it's worse than Milli Vanilly. Now,
for those of you not who wear about Milli Vanilly,
they were the R and B group that got busted
for lipsyncing. They had a studio band record everything for them,
make the real music, by the way, but they were
just the faces of it, and they would lip sync
dance and stuff too.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Yeah, but at least at least there were genuine people
making the musically, sitting down like composing this stuff.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
That was a grift, a scam to have a front
faces on there to look better, but the music was
still real.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
Yeah, Milli Vanilli has more credibility than that. And like
even the guys, it sucks. The faces sucks, it does
You're right though, Yeah, even the faces have been Milli Vanilli.
They were dancers. They could put on a show. What
would what would the Velvet Sundown Live be like? Would
it be like Gorillas where they just have a bunch
of monitors or something?
Speaker 3 (25:16):
Oh man, Ai Yeah, AI at least would not do
a Gorillas thing. That's I'm just worried about something like
AI Fest being a thing in ten years from now.
This is the AI Fest for all your a favorite
AI bands that type of thing.
Speaker 7 (25:30):
Well, we got our new festival name for.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Like slow for the like, we're at forty four likes
if we get AI Fest, Oh I would AI Fest
be better? And it's like all crappy bands like, oh,
I don't know if this would be better or not.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Now that you would rather band so bad that you
would rather listen to AI music.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
Okay, Anti AI Fest. That'll be the name of our
festival later Anti AI all right, So that way.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
We're all on the same page for it.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
If we need to fast forward just one decade to
help a couple of people here Ashley Simpson, Okay, there.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
You go, Oh yeah, there you go. See Ashley Simpson
got busted lipsticking live. It was still a real band
and that music was made at one point, you.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Know exactly, but yeah, this is way worse.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
Were using back tracks. That's that's a completely different thing.
I mean, like we literally just had that with asking Alexandria.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
Backtracks are still made, you know, They're still crafted and
composed to fit instruments and vocalists at a song.
Speaker 7 (26:29):
People still sat down composes and then recorded.
Speaker 3 (26:32):
Yeah, well you know what band that I don't think
is we're gonna have to worry about that. That does a
lot of electronic stuff. Deftones with their new album coming
out apparently sooner than later. Yeah, the arrival of Private
Music is all that has been teased more coming on
XVIII MMXXV. Now, whether that's the tenth of July or
(26:53):
October seventh, we are still unsure because depending on what
part of the country of the world that does month
day or day month format, we don't know. However, there's
been a little bit more updates on that because that
was teased with Private Music at the Crystal Palace performance
right before they ditched Glastonbury. Boy, we'll get the Glastonburry
stuff too. Glastonbury had a lot of news for their
(27:13):
festival that was not ideal for them, but regardless, Deftones
just said screw it, will do our own stuff and
went to Crystal Palace in London, had a great set
and started advertising their Private Music either August or October,
which is great us good.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
Now, I asked you guys this in our group chat.
But like I'm wondering, because they call it private music,
do you think it will be like new music? But
do you think it'll be like something that's like exclusive
to like really big fans like out Like again, in
our group chat, I made the comparison that when Lincoln
Park was first coming back and they were doing like
the show that like introduced Emily, that was that was
(27:51):
limited to people who were like who were like the
confirmed fans. You had to like you had to show
your credit, your credentials.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
See. I don't think Deftones had been a big part
of that to my knowledge, I don't think they have
as big of an underground fan base like that. And
when I say underground, I mean that's the name of
the Lincoln Park fan club. I don't mean like underground,
like under like undercode type thing. That's just the name.
I'd like deaf Tones, Let's just call them Tony's. I
don't think the Tony's like as like an actual fan
(28:20):
club that you would pay into it. Why do they
not call themselves Tony's. That's adorable. Yeah, I'm a Tony
So anyway, I don't think so I could be wrong.
Deftones have not had a new album come out since
Ohmes in twenty twenty. It's been a while.
Speaker 7 (28:33):
Awesome album it is, It's a.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
Great album and Steph Carpenter said last year the new
album that they're working on what they already had their producer,
they were working on it since last year said it's
a continuation of Ohms and Coino Yokon, which is great
news to me.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
Oh yeah, no, those are amazing albums. I love Cono
yok On like so much. Like So if it's something
in that vein like kellyes.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
So we shall see what that is. I hope that
it's something we can all get behind and Deftones fans around.
Deftone fans around the world will celebrate it around the world.
Stiff around the world, Steph, do you get that around
the world? Steph Carpenter around it.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
An artists, man, you gotta separate them this way, you
gotta do sometimes.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
I just made a video about that with autobiographies. I
don't know that sometimes a little hard.
Speaker 7 (29:24):
I watched that video.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
Yeah, I apologize to everyone I showed it to, but
what I posted it out by the way, So yeah, yeah,
I will say though it bothers me about stuff because
you know, you guys were Deftones fans here. Stephan has
flown around the world so many times, flown in a
plane across oceans and he's probably just a.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
Very big flat plane.
Speaker 7 (29:48):
He's probably got to think that's what it is, don't
get it?
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Yeah, because if there, I want to see a post
on his social media that says, oh, yeah, you know
this is the best place to tour on the whole
globe or something stupid like you find you find, yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
You find like one slip where it's like he uses
the word globe or something like that.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
It's just like, oh, you're getting like getting your hopes up.
He's gone on social media defending the like what he
looks out at the horizon from the plane says, you
see how flat it is with the horizon meets the ocean.
That's more proof to me that it is flat. That's
his actual defense and logic.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
Do flat earth side note? Do flat earthers think that
the world has like an end? And if so, can
you just fall off into apparently or whatever?
Speaker 3 (30:39):
Apparently they have excuses and defenses for all of that,
Like it does have an end, but you can't fall
off it.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
It's that type of garbage, like okay, okay. Also I'll say,
is I like I love Deftones music, I love I
love Stefans guitar work.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
One final thing, because like we're we're going to talk
about a lot more depth tones coming up as soon
as the stuff more information new music. The tour is
coming back the second leg in the new North America,
which is gonna be awesome. Gto has said about Steph
he wasn't always like that. He wasn't, which leads me
to believe something got up here. You know, the whole
propaganda brainwash machine got a little into him. So what happens,
(31:19):
it does it does. So that being said, I'm very
very excited for new Deftones. I think we all are.
It's been a while.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
I will say it's like, uh, even in Arcadia was
going to be like a good with pretty much a
chee in for like albut of the year for me.
But I mean, like if Deftones is coming out of
new music this year, I mean it's got some stiff competition.
We are. Can we just kind of just say real quick,
we have been getting We're only halfway through the year.
We have been getting so much great music this year.
(31:50):
Twenty twenty five is second to be like a goaded
year for metal.
Speaker 3 (31:54):
I hope it continues. And someone else said like there's
some pepill alluding to it that Deaftones new music the
album might come out as soon as August. I don't
know if that's an too.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
But numerals it doesn't kind of line up unless the
private music is like maybe like sort of like a
uh an appetizer to a later release.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
If it all worked out perfectly, that if that Roman
numeral led to the tenth of July, that could be
a new song then August new album. Yeah, that could work,
but that's again speculation. Don't take that for anything. This
is one you can yeah, but again, new Deftones sooner
than later. Let's be happy about that.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
Yay, see yay.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
And there's deaf Tones. Oddly the fast it's never been
a really consideration for deaftnes. I think that's a fair statement.
You know what, they don't care.
Speaker 7 (32:53):
They look fine, they do.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
They're in their forties and fifties. You know, why do
they care. They don't have to care whatever, they're in
their fifties. What am I talking about? They are in
their fifties. So let's continue the Glastonbury continuation as Deftones
weren't there. Well, there's a lot of political statements going on.
Sense of Glastonbury, which, by the way, should I have
anything to do with the United States, but it does. Know,
(33:16):
So what happened at Glastonbury would mecap the band who's
been big on the protesting with the Israeli Palestine stuff,
grass Embar said, we can't put the camera on these guys.
We can't scream these guys, screw it, show Bob Villain instead. Well,
Bob Villain goes, oh, you shouldn't have put the camera
on us, because guess what we're gonna do. They flashed
their images that he called a lot of stuff out
(33:37):
from ice to all they in the US, to all
they hate the Yeah, IDF was the big one, so
the Israeli Defense Force and all that. So eventually the
United States says you're not allowed to come here anymore.
You can't play nice. And then David Draymond of Disturbed
says just went off because he's very pro IDF and
(34:00):
signed a missile couple a little while back, which is
not ideal for anyone to do ever, but he did.
It's a mess that this is what we get now,
this is what we get, this is where we are.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
I will say, I'm I'm going to say this is
objectively as as possible because like they're in the UK
and I only say this because it's important, but like
just pointing out to me that the UK doesn't have
like the same laws when it comes to freedom of
speech as America does. So there is there was some
(34:33):
discussion that like what they said could count as like,
you know, a violation of free speech. It's because like
you know, you're telling you're you're saying like, oh, we
want these people dead or something like that, and like
all that stuff, and it's like it could be.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
It also says like a big thing that that went
against for Bob Villain. Another image they showed with text
free Palestine. United Nations have called it a genocide. The
BBC calls it a com flicks, accusing BBC of softening
what's really going on to the world propaganda machine.
Speaker 1 (35:05):
Blah blah blah.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
That is also a very horrifying thing from Frescible promoters.
Glassonbury organizer Emily Since she was appalled by the chance ants,
adding that there was no place at Glassonbury for anti Semitism,
hate speech or incitements of violence.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
BBC like that, so people might be legally like liable
for the performance, either Bob Villain or the promoters.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
It's just wild about poor lady, like just like from
her specific point of view, like don't put them on.
That's too much. We can't handle that here, Let's put
them on.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
Oh no, oh no, we made it worse. Yeah, that's exactly.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
Yeah, yeah, that's wild.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
And my viewpoint when stuff like this happens, it happens.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
More and more. It's going to be a statement now.
So yeah, and.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
David Dramas just really get madder and madd So yeah, you.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
Can't because just because of the climate, you can't stop it.
They're gonna be Oh, this one's safe. Nope, just kidding,
Oh that one's safe. Oh, you're not gonna be able
to tell anymore.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
I think Draymond's just very tone deaf, and it's just
amazing that he doesn't recognize kind of like his own
like sort of like his own hypocrisies and kind of
like that sort of thing.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
Well, it was a couple of months ago he tried
to be polite to man Billy Joe from Green Day
when that happened.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
He did, but he also signed a bomb true that
was gonna be used, but Billy like he was kinder
to Billy Joe, but with a smaller band, not a
Green Day's level.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
Bob Villain does it. He just goes off the rails.
So I do think that's also not the best look
for him. It's like, Oh, you can talk down to
people you think are smaller than you in the music scene,
but then you talk to Green Day, it's like, oh,
I would.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Love to meet you and just talk no judgment, get
out of here.
Speaker 7 (36:50):
I just don't think he has any room to say.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
It's like, you can't you can't wish for the death
of these people. And I'm like, you signed a bomb
that was that they was planned to be used. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Yeah, it's also messy, it.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
Is, it's awful, and yeah, let's talk like yeah.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
Yeah, yeah, I was gonna say. It doesn't matter on
which side you can think and hope don't say anything polarizing,
doesn't matter what we're talking about. It's it's too much.
There's too much right now, it's not gonna Yeah, it's
a lot.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
Yeah, it's always so very touchy, and it's like always
very like I always got to trend lightly when it
comes to like anything political.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
And also I say anything for too long you're going
to get asked and you're going to put on the
spot what sucks about it? Everyone has to choose the
side eventually. So make sure you're informed and you know
what you're talking about when you finally have to say
something that's my you know what.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
That is solid advice. That is a good thing that
a lot of people forget. Actually research what you think
you think? It's some facts.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
Yeah, it's hard to find moderate Can.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
I just ask what I think?
Speaker 2 (37:51):
Yeah, we do actual research. AI's not always right, Luke, No, it's.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
Not, but I'm saying that's what people will do.
Speaker 7 (37:57):
No, Yeah, I'm done for funding research.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
It's just hard to find moderists or credible moderates, you know,
because it feels like a lot of like a lot
of like journalists, they kind of like lean towards like
one way or another. I want, I want objective takes
when it comes to political stuff.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
No such thing. You gotta get both. Yeah, then I can.
Speaker 7 (38:15):
Try and find as best I can.
Speaker 3 (38:16):
Yeah, let's move on briefly. You guys, Okay, my mother
went off. Yeah, we are at Pleae. We are We're
at We started like five six minutes late, so we
are kind of pushing, but still do you want to
talk about this because people ask about the I prevail
singer Brian leaving and now they have a new song
out I prevail with the other singer taking both duties
for Clean and Uncleans. We finally got a message from him.
(38:40):
It does look like, yeah, there was a falling out
with the guy and the band, Brian and the band,
but Brian was dealing with his own stuff, and he
doesn't have any ill wishing. He doesn't wish them bad.
He hopes everything goes on. He still loves them like family.
I see this as you know what. I can see
them being okay in five years. You know, maybe they
get back together. There's no reason to ants. You know,
(39:01):
it could be way worse.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
Things are probably just heated, sure, and like you know,
emotions weally high again.
Speaker 7 (39:07):
It's like at least he's like saying like.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
No one hates each other and there's no hard feelings,
just like communication come in better. So you know, I'm
hopeful that like maybe one day we could see him back.
Speaker 2 (39:20):
That would be awesome. And he said, there's no beef.
I mean, it's just you know, it's not as amicable
as we thought. And there's no beef, so that's good,
and you know he still loves the guys and that's great.
But you know, things do become tough. Whether you're together
for ten years or five, like spending that much time
with other people, it happens tensions rise.
Speaker 3 (39:41):
And also he had health issues of his ode as well,
like stuff like that is going to add to the
just the strenuous situation of living on the road. I
Prevail was one of those bands who's had to like
we live on the road for quite a while.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
When we covered everything going on with Brent Hines and masseson,
I think I remember I don't remember if it was
like around the time. No, it was around the time
I think when Brent first left. But Bill kind of
like said something, it is like when you're with these guys,
it's like you're kind of like it's like you're a
married couple or something like that. You're always like around
each other, You're always like kind of like working together
and just kind of like being around each other and
(40:15):
just being like these very tense situations, especially on the road,
like when there's no routine, you can just get very
emotional very fast, or things can just be be blown
out of proportion very fast. It's just kind of like
a it just kind of comes with the territory.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
All's well, it'll be fine, everybody. You know what else
is some nice good news? I want to have some nice,
actual good news. I'm not setting up for a joke.
Simon of vended the son of Sean from slip Knots
a clown. I should say, got married. Isn't that nice?
Speaker 4 (40:47):
What is he?
Speaker 3 (40:48):
Some wedding photos? Everybody, nice little wedding photos. Come on,
see they're getting ready. He's getting married in his costcast,
you know that doing the first look. They're doing creative stuff.
He's emotional. It's nice. You know, he's eating food. Everything's good.
They're cutting the cake, they're sitting there, everyone's happy. The
(41:13):
first dance. And this is the one wedding photo with
all the bridesmaids and grooms been.
Speaker 1 (41:18):
I mean, like I would have my if when I
get married, I want a photo like this with my buddies.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
This is part wedding photo, part prom photo for all
the bad kids, the tough kids in probably high school prom.
Speaker 7 (41:33):
That they're just having fun. There was twenty one man.
Speaker 3 (41:38):
I would not post it if I didn't want to
show it how nice it was. This is good. We
need good stuff, We need happy things. Remember Yeah, okay,
so this isn't so much happy, but it is worth
pointing out. I'd be I we I'm compelled Green Day,
speaking of Billy, Joe got trolled a little bit by
I'm gonna say it regardless.
Speaker 1 (41:57):
Was funny.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
That's a stupid thing to do for the kid. And
what did you think was going to happen? Green Day?
Like they always bring up someone like to play guitar
for a song. They've done that for so many years.
You know what when you get up stage and Billy
asks you in front of a stadium, can you play
Time in your Life?
Speaker 1 (42:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (42:17):
And then you start playing Oasis Wonderwall instead, what do
you think is gonna happen?
Speaker 1 (42:23):
I think he was just like I think he was
just doing like a little joke or something like that.
Speaker 7 (42:27):
I feel like Billy took it a little bit too seriously.
Speaker 3 (42:31):
I don't know, man, because like you get to that,
you pay that much money for a ticket and you
can play guitar and you do that. I think this
was more of a troll. You get to troll.
Speaker 1 (42:39):
Your like you get to troll a band you like
in real time and to see Billy Joe's reaction, that's funny.
Speaker 7 (42:46):
That mets you funny to me.
Speaker 3 (42:48):
That means you paid to troll.
Speaker 1 (42:49):
That is stupid.
Speaker 3 (42:51):
If you pay, it's a harmless joke. That's pretty dumb.
It is harmless. Okay, let's say it like that.
Speaker 7 (42:57):
Is harmless, man.
Speaker 1 (42:58):
I mean we have heard of dollars, hundreds of dollars, okay.
I mean like the like did they kick him out
of the show or is it like a thing where
like okay, just get back into the crowd, because I
mean like if he was just like okay, you're done
and they just take him off the stage, but they
still let him like stay for the show, I mean,
like that's harmless.
Speaker 7 (43:16):
No one, like, no one got screwed over.
Speaker 3 (43:19):
Okay, but what what was he supposed to do that?
Speaker 1 (43:22):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (43:22):
I know that song, like they guess like stop the show?
Can you actually play? Or are you just joking around?
That's kind of awkward, Alex your thoughts on this.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
I think it's funny. I mean he was totally trolling
and he was like you know, and you know, like
the comparisons from Wonderwall to Good Yeah, yeah, and.
Speaker 1 (43:43):
I mean, like it's green Day they live for like
messing with people. At least you're just starting out.
Speaker 3 (43:49):
Yeah, yeah, I do think it's funny. I chuckled, don't
don't take that rung. But I do think it was
intentional hard troll.
Speaker 2 (43:57):
So yeah, he totally. I think he totally did it
on for per and he was like, Okay, you know what,
Let's see what kind of reaction we get out of
Billy Joe on this one. And I think I think
Billy Joe did think it was funny, but he's like, no, no, no, no,
not to get out of here, like not like that
was funny, but get out of here.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
Didn't if you picked him out of the venue, that's
one thing.
Speaker 3 (44:14):
I'd be like, I'm got like off stage, Yeah, go
back to the pit.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
Yeah that's all. Yeah. No One, Like everyone had like
a good laugh. That's all you can do.
Speaker 7 (44:24):
That's the best scenario.
Speaker 1 (44:25):
For like a little prank like this was harmless and
let's get that out of the way too.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
No One, And how many of these guitar player you know, kids,
do we see like they all kind of there's so
many and it happens all the time. It's like Oh cool,
that's cute, that's heartfelt. That's why I'm now this kid
is like at the top, like, ooh, did you know
that guy that trolled Billy Joe? Yeah, that guy that
again he had to.
Speaker 1 (44:45):
Stand out by the way too. It's like, I'm just
speaking for myself. If I was on stage, I would
be pissing myself in Like I would be so anxious
because like I mess up all the time when I'm
just playing.
Speaker 7 (44:56):
I'm just playing like my bass on my own in
my room.
Speaker 1 (44:59):
I can't imagine having to perform for that many people
for Green Day.
Speaker 3 (45:04):
Final thing I'll say about this, if this kid really
wants to be a legend, now he has to go
to one of those big Oasis shows in London this
summer and do the same thing and try to get
on stage and play good.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
Ridden See, can we like find some way to like crowdfund.
Speaker 3 (45:18):
Nesim just gonna take It's like, kid, you have the
rare chance to do this twice.
Speaker 1 (45:24):
We ordinate with the audience.
Speaker 3 (45:26):
Yes, yes, we absolutely find some.
Speaker 1 (45:30):
Like underground chat room that no Oasis like personnel are
going to be lurking around.
Speaker 3 (45:35):
We have them hold up aside.
Speaker 1 (45:36):
It it's my birthday and I'm sick.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
Please let me play.
Speaker 1 (45:40):
It's my witsch, it's my birthday and I have cancer,
Please let me play.
Speaker 2 (45:46):
Yeah, they're gonna they banned it already. This happened like Nope,
nobody's ever playing William's already ahead of it.
Speaker 3 (45:52):
Also, Oasis are not the cheeky, laughing off guys.
Speaker 1 (45:57):
Unfortunately, Oh no, Liam would be. They're not exactly up
with the haha.
Speaker 3 (46:03):
And but that would make it more funnier. Well, you
know what else is funnier when it really shouldn't be.
This is probably the worst thing that kind of happened
to the poor guide this year. Hopefully you're looking for
love in all the wrong places. Vince your repries our
public boy. That is a great like subtitle for this
(46:24):
article for Metal Injection, by the way, well done for
those that are not aware. Vince Neil got busted for
trying to solicit images from an AI. How do I
want to put this, uh model, Yeah, that's a polite
way to say it, an AI accountant. Let's do it
that way too for that one. Oh my god, it's
(46:46):
that's literally what it is. So the man who bragged
about women threeing thrown in him for years and years
and years. Well now he got busted for this. This
is the actual thing that happened on Twitter. Thus, I'm
a shocked.
Speaker 1 (47:02):
I know he's like sixty, but you can't see this
image and kind of know that this is fake.
Speaker 7 (47:06):
I mean, look at this ship.
Speaker 2 (47:08):
I don't think he cares.
Speaker 3 (47:10):
Don't think one he does not care to The face
has a Madam Tussoud level wax.
Speaker 1 (47:14):
Look, does it not?
Speaker 7 (47:16):
I'm Audie?
Speaker 2 (47:23):
Like some people really cannot tell what is ai. Somebody
is looking at this like, oh damn her secret?
Speaker 1 (47:31):
Can you imagine kind of tell based on like some
of the stuff in this right off the back? We can't.
Speaker 2 (47:36):
We can, but some people can't. Older people really can't.
Speaker 3 (47:41):
Go in mind, think about all the replies Vince Neil
has sent to other only fans accountants, and this is
the one to get caught on. I can't imagine this
is the first time he's tried this.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
There's no way, dude. The fall of Vince Neil has
to be studied. I mean, the man was a literal
sex icon in the eighties, have literally any woman in
the world, and now he's and now he's gone to this.
Speaker 3 (48:06):
This dolly Parton would not approve Dolly Part's even going, oh, honey,
I can't even support you with this anymore.
Speaker 1 (48:13):
That that home suite home mashup. I don't know what
you want to call it. They'll like still my God, Like, Dolly,
why did you do that? You don't need the money,
you don't need the credibility. We like you.
Speaker 2 (48:25):
Do whatever she wants.
Speaker 3 (48:26):
She can, she can't do whatever she wants. But also,
but of all the things to do, this is the
thing though, This is the type of behavior that Vince
Nea would have made fun of another band singer for
doing if they got caught.
Speaker 7 (48:36):
Oh easily.
Speaker 3 (48:37):
Absolutely, he would have dragged Brett Michaels or somebody else
from the hair Metal days, absolutely dragged them for doing
getting caught busted with something like this.
Speaker 1 (48:47):
I would have found it hilarious if it was Breton Michael.
Speaker 8 (48:52):
Yeah, it's just so bad that it's all so public
because it's like so many older individuals, we got to
put parental blocks on phones and computers, and.
Speaker 2 (49:04):
Is there Vince Neil shouldn't be allowed to do this?
Speaker 3 (49:07):
Is there a term for that, not parental blocks, but
like geriatric blocks or something like it. There has to
be a term for it, but there also has to
be like, hey, turn on grandparent mode to make sure
like no AI, they cannot participate you or use any
AI things like that, you know, just a little switch
(49:27):
on the iPhone or Android has to be.
Speaker 2 (49:29):
Honestly, from here, we could just call it Vince Neil mode,
like you are not allowed.
Speaker 3 (49:34):
I don't know the other things that could be associated
with Vincenield mode might be terrifying.
Speaker 2 (49:38):
I think it's probably for the best that all of
it is just shut down.
Speaker 3 (49:41):
Oh no, just I just had another time terrible thought.
You guys want to hear it. You guys want to
hear my terrible thought. Do you know how many awful
AI models he probably has saved on his phone from
Twitter that he's screenshotted.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
Oh yeah, yeah, see that's part of the block.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
Now we can all great. Vince Neil probably still sees
himself as his eighties self, right, Yes, that that I believe.
So yeah.
Speaker 4 (50:08):
Oh it's like you are a sixty something year old
man and you just look like you look like everyone's disheveled,
chain smoking ant I cannot I cannot stress that enough.
Speaker 1 (50:21):
He looked like my aunt in that one video.
Speaker 3 (50:26):
He is sixty head on, he is sixty four years old.
Sixty four yeah, yeah, yeah, anything else, yeah, anything else
would be mad.
Speaker 1 (50:38):
Now please, do you have grandfather?
Speaker 7 (50:40):
I'm curious.
Speaker 1 (50:41):
Oh I don't know, because now someone has to be like,
this is my grandfather father.
Speaker 3 (50:47):
He did lose one child. I don't know if he
had I know that.
Speaker 1 (50:50):
Yeah he had like other kids.
Speaker 3 (50:51):
So if he did, then yeah, so and this is crude.
He probably has kids he doesn't know about because so, yeah,
it's the eighty Yeah, it's the eighties and he was
up there with all the popularity.
Speaker 1 (51:03):
So you know what I mean, Billie, I'll just found
a sun.
Speaker 2 (51:05):
So yeah, so there's a lot of kids, I'm sure
from the eighties.
Speaker 3 (51:11):
Let's move on to some positive things. We do not
have much news, probably for the upcoming albums, as it's
fourth of July, this upcoming firework Day, this Friday tour. Wise,
what do we have, Alex?
Speaker 2 (51:22):
Not much. It's a slow week. I've got acid. Bath
just announced their first twenty twenty sixth show featuring Obituary.
That'll be fun for sure. Powerwolf just announced a twenty
twenty six European tour with Hammerfall and Windrows.
Speaker 3 (51:36):
You got excited for Powerwolf and then European tour. So
my wife is.
Speaker 2 (51:39):
Like, oh, I'm so sorry. Well we'll get you over.
There's fine. Six feet Under just announced a Midnight in
Hell tour with exorder Wretched and Insight.
Speaker 3 (51:50):
Please keep your six feet under impressions in the chat
just cookie Monster, just all day, Cookie Monster.
Speaker 1 (51:58):
Go ahead. That's all I got.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
Okay, and row it is there are there any albums
because when I looked earlier it was slim pickings.
Speaker 7 (52:06):
It is very slim pickings.
Speaker 1 (52:08):
I was able to pick out a few, and I
listened to a couple of these bands, and you know.
Speaker 7 (52:11):
I feel like there's still good stuff to look out
for this week.
Speaker 1 (52:13):
So first of all, we got I hope I'm pronounced
this right leanough with the shape of ash ep. So
they're fairly new. I think they only started releasing music
back in like twenty twenty one. But if you guys remember,
for a few months back, or if anyone from chat remembers,
I was glazing this one band called a Menra who
(52:33):
were also kind of like a very like kind of
like doom atmospheric band, and I compared their music to
like if ro Robert Eggers were to make like a
metal soundtrack, so with that sort of like saying criteria
instead of Robert Eggers, think ari Ast think like very
like folky doom gaze metal or something like that.
Speaker 7 (52:54):
It was like it was awesome, like something.
Speaker 3 (52:55):
Like doom gaze is a good explanation of it. That's
a good way to describe it.
Speaker 1 (52:59):
Yeah, Duomgaates was like when I listened to it, I
also had like a lot of like folksy sort of
like that Swedish folk sort of sound, so like made
me think of Midsommer, which just happened. I think, yeah, uh.
We also have Mutant sex Demon with cutting Through. They're
a black metal band, and I mean, like with a
name like Mute and sex Demon, how the hell could
I not mention.
Speaker 3 (53:19):
That it doesn't sound well? That is a yeah, Ivan's
conked out. I don't think he's gonna have to worry
about that.
Speaker 1 (53:25):
Though.
Speaker 3 (53:26):
That name sounds like it was like a parody name.
You'd hear like, parents, go, you are listening to the
Mutant sex Demon, weren't you?
Speaker 1 (53:34):
No, mom, no, no no, that's just like the band
in like some crappy eighties and nineties movie like where I'm.
Speaker 7 (53:41):
In Sex Demon.
Speaker 3 (53:42):
That's the band that gets killed off in a horror
movie in the eighties. Yeah, yeah, okay, So, uh.
Speaker 1 (53:51):
We have remar or I hope I'm pronounced this right,
r I m m ar with Raises. So I listened
to them too, and they're like, actually, if I'm being honest,
we have if we have any power metal fans in
the in the chat, we you actually have a fair
amount to be looking at Remar with Raises.
Speaker 7 (54:09):
I listen to this stuff.
Speaker 1 (54:10):
It's very like it's very Maiden esque, like just like
a lot of like or more like Dragon Force. Really,
it's just like very like very extreme, very like a
lot of speed metal, just a lot of stuff that
does like helps you get amped up. And that kind
of leads me into my next band. And honestly, this
is the one that just I can't believe I never
heard of this band.
Speaker 7 (54:27):
I'm so I hope. I wonder if any of.
Speaker 1 (54:29):
You guys heard this band before, because they're weird enough that,
like they with our track record, they would probably appeared
on someone's radar.
Speaker 7 (54:37):
They're called war Kings. The name ring any bells, M
I don't know, okay.
Speaker 1 (54:43):
War Kings is a power metal band, and their whole
stick is that they dress up as like ancient warriors,
so like two of them are Spartan warriors, one of
them is a Viking and the other two are like
Christian templars from the Crusades, and they all dress like
that and they make like it's like Sabotine. They make movies,
(55:04):
they like make songs about like wars. It was just
fun to watch metal old costume.
Speaker 3 (55:11):
So it's metal village people but with like old timy warriors.
Speaker 1 (55:14):
Got it kinda yeah? Or it's like, imagine if Vessel
was like turn into Leonidas, that's what the singer looks like.
Speaker 3 (55:22):
H Okay, then yeah, well.
Speaker 1 (55:25):
Just chat find pictures of this band. I'm not making
any of this up. And finally, this was really like objectively,
I feel like this is the only like big name
band that like I could find. We have the Dropkick
Mercies coming out with for the people, you know, very classic,
very like you know, very classic band. I kind of
(55:45):
I'm not big drop I'm not a big Dropkick Murphy's fan,
but whenever Saint Patty's rolls around, it's just like I
I gotta get in the mood.
Speaker 7 (55:53):
I feel like that's the same with a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (55:56):
One final album.
Speaker 3 (55:57):
I saw Alex men shouting get in the chat, and
I my, if we want to make sure this is
known too, Alex, what big album is coming out this Friday?
Speaker 2 (56:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (56:06):
Period, Kesha with her new album on fourth of July.
Speaker 1 (56:11):
That's what.
Speaker 3 (56:11):
That might be the most American thing to do this Friday.
So if you're in the States.
Speaker 2 (56:17):
It's gonna be a hot mess.
Speaker 3 (56:18):
Don't blow fireworks, just go blast Kesha and that'll be
your American celebration.
Speaker 2 (56:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (56:25):
Also, I got to pull up the comments again before
we go to our final thing, Roman Roman Rowan, because
you were talking about Roman Soldiers Rowan. What was your
song of the weeks? There was your week to pitch.
Speaker 1 (56:35):
I have it on screen right now. Okay, my song
of the week was Fastest a propaganda of propaganda off
Imperium Delirium, And honestly, I.
Speaker 7 (56:46):
Gotta be honest.
Speaker 1 (56:46):
I forgot to mention this album last week, and I
do apologize for that because I listened to the whole thing,
and my god, it is a song. It's been a
while since I fell in love with a death core
album start to finish, Like usually, it's like I'm I
pick out a few songs per album that I listened to,
but I mean, like, this was just so this was
just so theatrical. There was just so much stuff that
(57:07):
just like gets me so amped up. And this, this
song in particular, this is one out of the whole,
the whole album, This is the one one I was like,
I just really got sucked into it. It's it's such
an amazing album. Everyone like, even if you're not that
big into depth score, I would at least give it
a try. I loved it that much. And I know
you did a review about it, like not too long ago.
Speaker 3 (57:29):
This is the album you want to play for your
religious grandmother if you want to terrify her.
Speaker 7 (57:33):
This is what you This is the album I want
to play at my wedding. Going back to the come
back to.
Speaker 1 (57:38):
Grant story first dance, yes, so oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (57:42):
Then the final thing before we get.
Speaker 7 (57:44):
To festival, my wedding will have a mosh pet.
Speaker 3 (57:46):
Tomorrow back to the beginning. We will finally see I
don't know if I'm going to pay for the stream
or not, or it's not tomorrow, excuse me. The fifth Saturday, Yeah, Saturday,
we shall see how it all plays out. This is
a spectacle. Tom Morello, who curated everything, said there's gonna
be a lot of surprises. I hope Ozzie is feeling
well enough to do something fun with the rest of everybody.
(58:07):
I just hope it goes well. I hope it's a
fond farewell. I do not want to be an embarrassment.
And Sharon Weekend in Bernie's Ozzie with his lifeless body,
like he's still alive but he can't do it, just
saying excuse me, that's my Sharon.
Speaker 1 (58:23):
You know, you just see like a puppet or something
like that. It's like, you know, like you know the
music video for Bye Bye Bye By and Sync, it's
like that.
Speaker 2 (58:33):
Well, terrible it it'll be great. It'll be great.
Speaker 3 (58:36):
I think it'll be great. They have put a lot
of effort money into this, so you know what, and
a lot of big names, way too many big names.
I feel like you can bank on success for something
like this. So we cannot go great no matter what.
We cannot and we cannot go because we're not millionaires.
But that's okay. We'll get there someday. However, it is
(58:57):
time because we ought to festivals to book are you
ready for sivil rock or flop you know?
Speaker 2 (59:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (59:02):
Am I never not ready?
Speaker 3 (59:04):
Well, this week we're doing anti ai Fest because we
did hit our light goal and that's our first one.
I'm happy about that. We also have some super chats.
I'll read that well the festival rocker flop Thinke is
goal while we have the music going. Thank you for
the super chats. They're very much appreciated in these dark
U Tube times. From La Yeats Sean pdd Combs getting
only twenty years in prison is just insulting.
Speaker 1 (59:25):
Yes, it is.
Speaker 3 (59:26):
Two out of five indictments is not enough. However, I
do take a little bit of comfort in hoping that
he actually does. I know he won't, but still the
idea of him going to prison for twenty years, he
will not do well in prison.
Speaker 7 (59:40):
Hell no, No, the type of crimes that he did.
Speaker 1 (59:43):
Ye even the prisoners in prison, that's.
Speaker 3 (59:47):
A big, big less What it's a big thing is
prison like once prisoners know who the Adobe PDF files are,
they go after them pretty violently.
Speaker 1 (59:55):
So it's not Yeah.
Speaker 3 (59:57):
Also from La, to quote Mike the Grunties comment for
the latest episode, an autymous truck stop bathroom events would
be a great back name. Oh that's what I talked
about on the YouTube video. That's what Rob Halford was doing. No,
I will not explain that comment that will get the
stream demonetized. Yes, Rob Halford also el Ee put a
comments in here mutants sex demon is probably what Vince
Neo wished that he saw.
Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
Hey, oh hey, you guys have sound effects too?
Speaker 3 (01:00:27):
From from Angela and Holla or Angela. I apologize, I'm
this pronouncing. I want to thank you for reigniting my
love of Rocket's been such a ride, and I love
everything I've been learning. I especially love learning about female
led all and all female bands. Well, I'm glad we
could introduce you to some.
Speaker 1 (01:00:43):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (01:00:44):
There's a lot of good ones right now. Spirrit Fogs.
Speaker 1 (01:00:46):
I just saw my favorite Boros. They are a really
good one too. Yeah. Cool, you want like a good
band like that?
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
And from Heavy Metal Joker. My friend Emily had a
theory asking Alexandria screwed Dennis over forever. Now that it's
all basically proven, that just blows my mind, asking al
Zerebri you lost a fan forever. Sorry you had to
deal with that that, Sorry you had to deal with
Ben Alex uh So, apologize to you Alex Gray for
dealing with Ben Bruce.
Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
Okay, yep, the same things. Like it sucks.
Speaker 7 (01:01:18):
It sucks. See in this band that you.
Speaker 2 (01:01:19):
Like, Oh Ice ic Icy, I got you, I get you.
I'm reading it right now.
Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got you. I get Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:01:25):
It's a bummer. It's a bummer situation. But I'm glad
that everything is coming full circle now and all good.
It's positive from here on.
Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
Out, uniquely coming full circle. By the way, Yes, all right,
Anti ai fs is our first one.
Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
Will be booking for bands at a random festival in
the middle of nowhere and see if our radio station
festival can actually get us something to go to. This
is where it gets ridiculous. Let's hope for the best.
Anti ai Fest band number one Kiss the ai Fest,
the band that wanted to do avatars and then walked
it back and said no, we'll play again live. Yes,
(01:02:00):
they're on Anti ai Fest band number two. Kidding Joan
Jets she's not AI.
Speaker 7 (01:02:10):
I don't know if she's superformed. I genuinely don't know that.
Speaker 1 (01:02:14):
She doesn't know that she was great in twenty twenty two.
Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
She just did a residency in Vegas.
Speaker 1 (01:02:19):
That'd be perfect for her. That's awesome. It was great.
It was that House of Blues. Yeah, there you go.
That's a good fit.
Speaker 3 (01:02:24):
Number three within Temptation, who made several AI music videos.
Speaker 2 (01:02:30):
Okay, another female.
Speaker 3 (01:02:32):
This is a great theme.
Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
This is the band.
Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
Wow, they are a great female rupted band. Also Sharon
Dedadella is awesome. But yeah, they did use AI so
it's odd that they're all anti AI fest and number
four Max seven.
Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
I got you, guys, I've not feeling this one.
Speaker 3 (01:02:53):
I actually would go because it's a spectacle like with
in Temptation and you know Joan Jet, Max Savads.
Speaker 7 (01:03:00):
I don't mind it. I don't mind a spectacle.
Speaker 1 (01:03:04):
But there really isn't anyone I really love, you know,
Alex like even Jon Jet.
Speaker 7 (01:03:09):
I just I like the hits.
Speaker 3 (01:03:10):
Alex Shure, the tiework on this one for the three
of us.
Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
Oh, I'm going this is definitely a rock.
Speaker 3 (01:03:18):
Yeah. Oh someone just said Jone Jets on tour with
Billie Idol. See that's a fun one. That's ridiculous, but
it's a fun one. They get the target audience.
Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
For that that. You got to check out the promo
video that it's cute.
Speaker 1 (01:03:29):
Oh is it okay? Yeah? I haven't seen that all right?
Speaker 3 (01:03:32):
Pass?
Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:03:33):
Yes, yes, pass yes? I love it with in Temptation,
but I would not go dang, I like all I'm going,
so I'm in. It's pretty split, is you know what?
I'm not going to even do a yes or no
on this one to pass our Failm's gonna move on.
This was Anti ai Fest. We got the weirdest bands
(01:03:56):
for Anti ai Fest, with Max Sabbath opening Joe Jess
Gonn walk and says, what the heck kind of show
is this? Why did I get books? My agent is
so fired?
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
All right? For mid me, is Max Setath performing at
the Ozzy Osborne Farewell short show?
Speaker 7 (01:04:10):
They heat, they had.
Speaker 1 (01:04:11):
To they died. Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:04:14):
I think that's a little too.
Speaker 1 (01:04:15):
I don't. Oh you know what, No, it's a game
dropped out. You you need a quick replacement. I can't
imagine share.
Speaker 3 (01:04:22):
It would be okay with Max Sabbath performing at the
Black Seventh Tribute show.
Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
Oh, come on, there's an awesome video of Jack and
azsy like.
Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
Reacting Jack and Ozzy. Yeah that's fine, but as a
paid gig type thing, no way, come on, we're going
to you it'd be awesome, but there's no way, not
a chance. Yeat Fest Day number one, Thank you, Eli
Eats band number one for yeek Fest three eleven Summertime band,
(01:04:54):
There we go. That is appropriate stank Heat of Summer.
Number two The Ghost Inside with it okay. Number three
Shaman's Harvest sound great that blues rock style.
Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
They're good.
Speaker 3 (01:05:11):
And number four you already had no mud Vein.
Speaker 7 (01:05:19):
Yes, I'm going, I'm going.
Speaker 3 (01:05:21):
I would go. The vibe is very DWP festival, mud Vein,
three eleven, Shavin's Harvest all on the same stage. I'd go.
Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
I'm just saying that's what it is now.
Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
I would go too. It's just kind of weird. Three
eleven feels like an outlier, big d.
Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
They're They're the fullest outlier.
Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
But again they do pack a crowd. People still support them.
Speaker 1 (01:05:43):
They're super fun and I love the other three bands,
like especially mud Vein with like LD fifty like hell yes.
Speaker 3 (01:05:50):
The Ghost In side opening up is a good opener
as well.
Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
Yeah, yeah, very good. I started listening to them the
last time we got them on the uh in the
like the thing and like I liked what I heard,
So yeah, with a five hund State of Missouri.
Speaker 3 (01:06:07):
Good guys, I see a lot more yeses than nose
in the chest, you know, like Ellie eat Fest, to
eat Fest.
Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
Where are you there?
Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
We go now we go to Angela Fest. I hope
has pronounced Angela A n j A l A. I apologize.
If it's not you can correct me in the chatlet
Angela Fest.
Speaker 1 (01:06:24):
Band Number one.
Speaker 3 (01:06:26):
Spirrif yes start starting out strong? Number two ooh, the
crowd demands replaced any one of the previous bands with
the next band, So we'll play this a little bit
more safe. We'll have four bands. We could replace one
and do a fifth. Okay, if we could replace Fox,
but yeah, so spirriit Fox, not Max Sabbath Boy of
(01:06:48):
Monsters and Men.
Speaker 1 (01:06:49):
I'm down.
Speaker 3 (01:06:50):
That's That's a lady frontage tour so far. Number three
Eisneine kills all right? And number four Bullet for my Valentine.
It's a good show, you know what I gotta say.
I'm kinda I'm gonna myth that we had to like,
(01:07:11):
we don't.
Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
We don't have to replace, right because this is honestly
already and awesome, like do crash.
Speaker 2 (01:07:18):
Yes, if we have to have monsters and Men is
the one that doesn't fit the best.
Speaker 7 (01:07:24):
It doesn't fit, but I love a Monsters and Men.
I know it sucks.
Speaker 3 (01:07:28):
I would vote out Bullet for By Valentine, but at
the same time, really yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:07:33):
But they worked, so I feel like they.
Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
Were monsters of metal, make of money. Bullet for By
Valentine dropped off their own tour for no reason.
Speaker 1 (01:07:45):
But this is a one off show, all right, This is.
Speaker 3 (01:07:47):
A one off show. And Topeka, Topeka, Kansas. Which band
we cutting.
Speaker 7 (01:07:55):
Chat saying replaced Bullet?
Speaker 1 (01:07:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:07:57):
Oh yeah, I replaced Bullet. Okay, are you guys okay
with that? Okay?
Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
Crowd demands it, all right.
Speaker 3 (01:08:03):
Our next band, Rancid crap, all right, I'm fine with that,
Rancid of Monsters of Men, Ice nine Kills, spirit Box.
Speaker 7 (01:08:16):
I just prefer Bullet over Rancid.
Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
That's fine, that I totally get. But I'd still go.
There's too much good stuff on there to.
Speaker 1 (01:08:24):
Ignore, you know, all right. I mean like, I don't
hate Rancid either, I just like, if I had to
choose between, I get that.
Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
I get that.
Speaker 2 (01:08:32):
That's I mean, I really do.
Speaker 3 (01:08:34):
That's how the game's played.
Speaker 2 (01:08:35):
I'd still yeah, I will go if we get a
slightly longer set from spirit Box.
Speaker 1 (01:08:42):
We can make them headliner. Hell yeah, okay, we'll believe that.
The way I think that's fair. I feel like they've
gotten to headliner status.
Speaker 7 (01:08:50):
Is that's fair?
Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
With there?
Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
They're tour sold out at bigger venues. Yes, they've gotten
had lighter status from Yeah for a radio station fest
in Topeka, Kansas.
Speaker 1 (01:08:57):
Yes they have.
Speaker 3 (01:08:58):
So we go to heavy Jokerfest our last one. Sorry
for under late, everybody, We started late joker Fest number one,
late everybody, Sorry, that was for Angela Fest. The joker
Fest number one they used number two, The Pretty Reckless.
(01:09:19):
I heard Alex just buy tickets already. Number three.
Speaker 7 (01:09:24):
No, I think your algorithm is biased.
Speaker 3 (01:09:29):
We'll play anywhere because No. Number three, Flogging Molly number four, periphery.
We're all over the place tonight, like literally every show
is all over the place.
Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
This feels more disjointed than anything else today.
Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
Flogging Mollie the Pretty Reckless. Huh, I mean I'd go.
Speaker 1 (01:09:56):
There's no reason I wouldn't go.
Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
Yeah, Pretty Reckless has a longer set.
Speaker 1 (01:10:05):
Yes, and you can impact do that too. That's fine.
Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
We got to set up an interview beforehand. We got
to catch up again.
Speaker 1 (01:10:14):
It's been too long and interview dinner.
Speaker 2 (01:10:17):

like super random. And I added more photos today. They
didn't come in yet. We didn't land on anything new yet.
But still I want to thank everyone for hanging out
with us as we went into overtime. There's a lot

It'll be a very long. God.
Speaker 7 (01:12:13):
Sorry, I'm dumb oh.
Speaker 2 (01:12:16):
And I just don't need to book the wrong planet.
Speaker 3 (01:12:18):
Yeah exactly, that would really suck. Row and I think
you'd like to wrap up.
Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
With again, thanks for just being patient with me for like,
you know, being late here and like uh no, yeah
siousy check out Imperium Delirium, but also check out uh

Like yeah, alrighty, thank you guys again. New videos on
the YouTube channel as of yesterday.
Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
It's terrifying.
Speaker 3 (01:12:43):
I apologize for ruining people's days in favorite bands, but
sometimes you have to do it. Alex, you got me
to laugh last week with the dad joke. Can you
continue the streak? Get what it was to laugh?
Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
Let's you need to have like uh luke, you're killing
us here with like like they're not fun. Yeah, you
laugh more than I do. I don't know about that.
Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
If you go, then I'm happy. It means I did
my job. I don't require laughs, but I got you
guys ready.
Speaker 1 (01:13:12):
Yes, the actions and laughs are different. When I scream
into a pillow and leave the room, that's like you
didn't get me.
Speaker 2 (01:13:20):
I will take the reactions.
Speaker 3 (01:13:21):
I love it laughing, So that does that could technically count.
Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
My mic is still on. You can tell if I'm
muted or not, so you can just hear.
Speaker 3 (01:13:30):
You could quietly cringy, I rolls.
Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
I'll take it off.
Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
Okay, all right, So how.
Speaker 2 (01:13:35):
To dream the ocean was filled with orange soda? It
was a fantasy.
Speaker 7 (01:13:43):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (01:13:47):
Who laughed that one?
Speaker 1 (01:13:50):
So I'm gonna have like a I'm gonna have like
a picture of a sad dog on my desktop or
something like that.
Speaker 7 (01:13:56):
I'm just gonna steer it right.
Speaker 3 (01:13:59):
Yeah, that was two in a row for Alex. She's
back on the successful track with that.
Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
She's getting better, Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (01:14:07):
She spends an hour every Wednesday before like going over
her material.
Speaker 2 (01:14:12):
Yeah, just an hour.
Speaker 1 (01:14:14):
Yeah. Uh, she practiced in She practices in front of
the mirror or something.
Speaker 3 (01:14:18):
To her pets, and if her pets react, it's good. Uh.
Someone else got other people in chat, several of them
saying I got them. You know what, There we go.
That's a victory. Someone's throwing coconuts, someone's throwing waffles, someone's
throwing oranges. That's a little more appropriate for orange zew Hey,
I could go for waffles. Now, I'm hungry, man, why
do I get.
Speaker 4 (01:14:38):
You know what?
Speaker 7 (01:14:38):
Waffleste It was awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:14:40):
Someone's throwing ice cubes. I got a good chuckle. Okay,
that was a good one.
Speaker 1 (01:14:45):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:14:45):
A lot of people are definitely an Alex's camp for
this one. So we're gonna wrap it up now because
we're running late. Thank you all so much. This was
a big old success. Have a great week. We will
see you next week as well to talk about whatever
happens it back to me begin and hopefully nothing else
about asking how Xandria up garbage because boy, ol boy,
it's getting weird.
Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (01:15:07):
Imagine Ben Bruce comes out with some sort of statements.
Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
Now, oh that's what I'm saying. I really want to
tie to him.
Speaker 3 (01:15:13):
He's the one I kind of actually do want because
he's out of the band. But he's gotta he's got
to be aware of all this.
Speaker 1 (01:15:18):
I feel like he would also, like, I mean, he
was closer to the rest of the band, especially Danny,
more than Dennis ever was, so I mean like he
would probably be in the Nova a lost stuff too,
right or doesn't care.
Speaker 7 (01:15:29):
Yeah, I'll be fair.
Speaker 1 (01:15:32):
He probably He's probably just like, Wow, I'm I'm glad,
I'm out of this trade wreck.
Speaker 3 (01:15:35):
Yeah, don't drown in the fantasy. Bye everybody, like it's
just a fantasy. Oh goodness,
