“System haven’t made an album since 2005, and you’ve made three Scars On Broadway albums, but presumably you never stop writing. How many songs are you sitting on? “I don’t know about thousands, but I’ve got a few. If I had a nine-to-five job, I would probably still come back home and write music for myself. But even though we’re not making records with System after all these years, I still do write because it’s an itch and I just got to itch it. It’s like a child plays with his toys. You don’t play with your toys because you’re playing for somebody else, right? You’re playing for your own amusement.” (Louder Sound)

Speaker 1 (00:05):
This is the podcast that rocks weekly podcast. It talks
about news in the world of rock, metal, alternative and
everything in between.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
My name is Luke, my name is Alex, and my
name is Rowan.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Thank you so much for tuning in and being patient.
The delay was not technical difficulty. It was one hundred
percent on me because I was trying to find links
to show everyone, but Google sucks and a lot of
other stuff going on. But on top of that, I
had little ones to take care of, including a sleeping
puppy who is a very good boy.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
But when it's.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Dinner time, you better believe everything stops. As the animal
lovers know. If we have three, yeah, I know I
would want to be fed on time too, if I
was dependent on it, you know exactly. I complain when
I'm not fed and it's up to me, so you.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Knowing me, Yeah, feed on time exactly.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
If we had fifty likes, we will play at least
one around a festival. Rocker flop. If you get a
super chet, I'm certain about more. You get your own festival.
We already have one coming in. Thank you for the
super chats. They help a ton in these times of
YouTube unprecedented random viewing ad payouts. Thank you so much.
Hope you all are doing well special Thanks everyone that
checked out heavies from our ad last week we found

(01:16):
out people bought, so thank you guys for check yourself out.
More stuff coming for them too on the Heavy channel.
So did I cover everything on the basic stuff? Yes,
everyone's saying agree. Feed the animals on tom Yes, we're
very aware of that.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Everything else.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
They are the loud, smelly, noisy responsibility that I do love.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Ivan's cuddled up right now on his pillow, so he's
very tired. Are we all set?

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Should we get right into the mess. Most of the
news is positive, so it's a flip from last week,
so you know what. I'm happy about that. Thank God,
let's go into it. Let me share my screen with
my co host right here, bam, let me know when
you guys can see it entire screen.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Please, thank you? There we go. Amn.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Awesome.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
So two shows happening at different dates, like back to
Bad Sets.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
System of a Down is.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Literally taking over football fields. I made a joke one
about there's sets. What you're seeing right now is consequences
of sounds coverage from MetLife Stadium in New York, which
was bonkers. We'll get to some of the news on that. Also,
they had it in Chicago. I would just like to
point out I made the joke Finally something good happens
in Soldier Field because the Chicago Bears suck.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Thank you, thank you get it?

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Yeah, everyone get it, because the fans never leave happy
and this time they did get it.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
There we go.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Okay, moving on, Sorry Bears fans. That was my only joke.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
That was all.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
I would have said that about any sports team, by
the way, Okay, it's nothing personal. I just achieved Shay.
I would say that to the Giants. Think about it.
When's the last time they've had something there?

Speaker 3 (03:01):
You go?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
So oh yeah, yeah, there I go. See sports. Yes,
that is exactly right, Alex, the hottest take of all sports.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah go team whoa did you hear what Alex said?

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Look at the chat system of a touchdown? Good one, sir.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
That's pretty clever for our chat, you know what, not bad,
not bad.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
For our chat for our chats.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
There, Yes, you were there for several weeks where the
chat was not up to par.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Let's just say that.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
A chance idea of comedy was very very lazy.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
There you go System. As a Lines fan, I agree
that Bear sucks. See somebody gets it.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
There we Go. System of a.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Down twenty six songs set in New York at MetLife,
Ozzie Tribute, review photo videos. The band was showned by
Corn at the kickoff show. Everything's perfect, all this cool stuff,
We're gonna get to the system stuff first, because, like
the question asked of the title's System of a Down
as big as they've ever been in because it sure
feels like it, with them selling out every single arena
show they go to and potential festivals both present, past

(04:07):
and potentially future. Any thoughts on that, Alex Rohan, because
I feel like now everyone's.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
Really appreciating what they're doing well, even though that even
though it's been decades since they actually released any music,
so many people, like after their initial run of alums,
have still been getting into them. They are still at
like they're still probably one of the most accessible metal
bands out there. They were one of the first I
got into and I got into them well after they

(04:35):
stopped making music, and really just with how good the
music is, how energetic and entertaining they are, it's no
wonder that they're still grabbing like new and new people
to kind of like latch on. I know so many
people who are not metal heads whatsoever but can still
like sing like the top three songs off Toxicity. We

(04:58):
all know what they are at this point. Yeah, yeah,
that's it's not surprising to.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Me, Alex, how about you? Okay?

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Then Alex is frozen and suspense because she just can't
stop thinking about how deep of a serious thing this
is for System being sound.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
Alex's malfunction.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Oh shoot, it's okay, it's okay. You can see. That's
the kind of it kind of messes up Obs. But
that's okay.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
We're going to figure it out. There's just a central
space right now. Alex will hop back on.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
In a moment.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
Yeah, and what are your thoughts?

Speaker 1 (05:27):
So the way it's looking now, because I was at
Sicknew World last year or excuse me, yeah, last year,
twenty twenty four, and it's sold out. In the year
before that sold that because they were System headliners, and
I know they had a big part of putting it on,
but still those were the only shows they were doing.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
They did.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
They're one off in San Francisco last year or twenty
twenty three, whichever one it was.

Speaker 5 (05:46):
That's probably also why they sell out so fast, because
it's like the rarity. I guess, I don't know if
rarity is the right word, but it's like it's a
one off show for a band that is kind of
no one really knows if they if they are officially
back together or apart, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Yeah, and they keep that, they keep it kind of
close to the chest that they've never been broken up,
but they definitely have no interest in getting back together. Alex,
if you hear this, just jump on. Hey, there we go,
she's back. Can you say I cannot hear you Alex

(06:24):
talking to the microphone? Okay, you're yeah, might just go
her windows, take your time, You're good. If you can
hear us, then like, just you do that and just
chime in whenever you get it, Okay, no rush anyway.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
Anyway, she could like morse code to us or something no,
which is a pulled out like a piece of paper.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Yeah, so I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Yeah, I'm like everyone listening on the podcast feed she's saying, absolutely,
I could take care of it, no problem. Thank you
guys for being such a good ho host.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
To help us.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
That's exactly what she's mouthing right now. So okay, it
broke up. Yeah, I broke a up a little bit.
Count the three really.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Quick, one two three.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
There I fixed it. I didn't fix anything, but I'll say.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
I don't know what happened. I'm so sorry. Everything just died.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Oh you're fine.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
So you do you have like a surge or something?

Speaker 2 (07:16):
You have no idea?

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Is there a heavy thunderstorm in Los Angeles? Because that
happens often.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Well, you know, yeah, metaphorically.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Speaking, Well, yeah, there you go. So Rowland was talking
about System.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
I was talking about System and just bringing up how
like Sick New World shows with System headlining it, they
always sell it, but they put those on. They did
the one off show at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco,
which was massive, and that sold outs. They're doing these
shows in football stadiums. That's way bigger than both Sick
New Worlds and that Golden Golden Gate Park show in
San Francisco. They're filling out Soldier Field, They're filling out

(07:52):
the New York Stadium. At what point do they say,
maybe we should do this a little more. And I
love what they're doing. They're going to Toronto with deftes
doing like a couple of big shows like this year.
Maybe that's the right idea because you make so much
money for doing few shows, but they're making it worth it,
you know, making a trip. They're going to destination cities. However, Yeah, so, Alex,

(08:14):
any thoughts on that going on, because we didn't really.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Get to hear from you yet, I don't know what
you guys said, so I'm sorry if I'm repeating any
thoughts here. But the fact that they're selling out these
stadiums is absolutely massive because we haven't seen anything from
these guys in so many years as far as new
music is concerned, and we had the hiatus, and just
the fact that they are still selling out such massive venues,

(08:37):
even you know, so many years later, like almost twenty
years after the hiatus began or whatever, and it's amazing
to see them sell out what eighty two thousand at MetLife.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Yeah, ridiculous.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Their latest album came out roughly November twenty twenty five
or twenty two thousand and five, so twenty years ago almost.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
I was like saying, I don't know if you caught this,
but I was like saying, well, I think system moved
down has maintained that level of this level of popularity
is because they are they were one of the most
like entertaining like acts out there. They also have just
like such accessible music. It's like their songs are the
type that every metal head knows and that's the type
of metal songs that have seeked over into mainstream media. Chop,

(09:21):
Suey and Toxicity have pretty much been meaned at this point,
and it's still they're still garnering new fans. I got
into them well after they start. They stopped music making music,
so clearly it works. It's still going.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
Yeah. And the fact that it is still drawing this
much attention from the sick New Worlds to these even
bigger shows where they are pulling in hens upon tens
of thousands of fans every single night, multiple nights at
the same city. It's absolutely insane.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Yeah, and it's I don't think it's going to slow down.
So there's a lot of different like rumors, speculation, and
then actual confirm stuff coming through all these system of
a Down shows.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Number one just a big thing.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Darren did a couple interviews along with making some appearances
throughout Chicago and New York the big thing a lot
of people need to know right now through a long
interview that happened with Metal Hammer and Louder Sound number one,
there's not going to be any new music anytime soon
new music, and that stinks. But he has made it
very clear. System of down has always been those four.
If one of them is not be able to participate,

(10:26):
then it's not system of a down. That's a very
a fair statement and it does show how much they
all care about each other. If this is the speculation
cart coming from me nowhere else, do not take this
out on Alex her Rowan.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
If it's the drummer that's causing this. There's a lot
of other drummers out there. But that's just me, okay,
John John Sue get a drummer.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
There's a lot of really good drummers out there that
won't cause as many problems and interviews.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
I'm just saying, if they need, that's just me.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
The mean Luke feels a certain way.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
I just say people, I'm just suggesting if that's the case,
that being said, he is an excellent drummer, not taking
that away from the man. So we have a lot
of other information too. Darren's still writing. He has been
writing for a long time. He's sitting on songs. He

(11:24):
does a lot of stuff still because Stars on Broadway
just had something come out finally again, but he's been
writing stuff for System of Down as well. He never
just flushes ideas. He's never just stagnant or sits everything
back on the back burner, doesn't even try. He's always
trying to flesh something out. And that's very admirable for again,
a band who has not had a new album come

(11:44):
out in almost twenty years.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
You usually don't get.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
That, honestly. Honestly like the fact that you do say
that he still writes for System of a Down and
don't and no one forget Back. In twenty twenty, we
did get surprisingly, get two new songs from the it
was a one off. They did clarify that don't take
this as a sign that we're back together or we're
back in the studio. This is just the thing that

(12:08):
we were all passionate about. But at the fair least
it does reinforce that they can all get together, sit
down together and make music when it does matter to
them and counts sure, And I think it just is
reassuring as a fan that it's not an idea that
is completely dead. If they can do it once fifteen
years later, I can I can hope a little bit

(12:31):
better that they'll come back sometime.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Sure, that's fair to say.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
I mean we're getting we're getting some long standing bands
randomly releasing tracks, you know, many many years later, so
we could.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Totally foreshadowing again.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
See, it was like either a year or two years
ago before the podcast relaunched with you two, I said,
we're never getting system of a doubt again. It's never
going to happen. But now, after seeing how big these
shows are getting, and how much money's drawn in and
how much potential, and that they are still actively trying
to think of creative ideas, they're never just saying screw it,
we're never doing this again. We're a legacy band. Now.

(13:07):
I can't completely ignore the possibility. I don't want to
get my hopes up. But at the same time, when
I see sixty plus thousand people in football stadiums all
screaming to Sugar as a closer, that's what I realize. Okay,
more people want this than I think even they realize.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
So that's just how I see it, And it's a
lot of the nostalgia too, though I hate to say it,
but a lot of the fans that are filling these stadiums.
These two songs that we got were awesome and everybody
loved them. But I would be curious. I'm not going
to say yay or nay on either said, but I
would be so curious to see how all of these
die hard, long standing fans would react to a full,

(13:48):
brand new System album, Like it would be absolutely insane
to get all of that in real time, and like
it would.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
Be amazing just from oh sorry, no, go ahead, good.
It would just be amazing from like some say, someone
like me, a gen Zer who got into them later
on that because then it'd be like I get to
experience this album as it comes out with everyone else,
and so does everyone else says that is latched on
since two thousand and.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Five, and Grandpa, I'm here going, well, yeah, back in
my day, we had to appreciate it. So that's my
response to gen Z attitude. But still that's just how
it's always going to be.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
But I look at it you much, Grandpa Luke.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Hey, hey, hey, you respect your elders, your new metal elders.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
Get off my new metal lawn.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
I had Jencos before you could even spell Jencos, so
I just looked at it. Go now, and also it's
worth putting out. In Chicago. It was either the day
after or the night after, I don't remember. There was
a system of a Down tribute band and Darren said, hey,
can I join you and performed cigar with them.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
I think you've hit the jackpot as a tribute band.
When one of the actual members attributing says hey, I'll
play with.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
You, that is to them, that is seeing God your
in your audience.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Kind of Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
The best equivalent I can make is not even a
real one.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
It's a fictional one.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
The movie is called Saving Silverman. It's not a particularly
great comedy. But they were in a Neil Diamond cover band. Okay,
the three characters halfway three foc into the movie, Neil
Diamond actually shows up and they get to meet their
hero and they kind of save the day. It's so random.
That's the most equivalent I could put this with. But

(15:28):
that was fictional.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
This is real. You know.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
So you two have not seen Rockstar starring Mark Wahlberg, yet,
have you?

Speaker 5 (15:34):
No?

Speaker 4 (15:35):
I have not I know, disappointed in you two. I
know that kind of feels like this a little bit
oh okay to watch the movie with with Marky marks
based on Yes, he does a really good job.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
I cannot deny that at all.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
It biopic, No.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
No, I know it's not a biome pick.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Yeah, it's loosely based on the Judas Priest story where
they got that Judas Priest cover band singer to front
Judas Priest for a while and then it just got
to experience life fronting his favorite band of all time.
It's such a good movie, you gotta watch it.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
God, all right, that's cool.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
Fair enough.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
See good things happen though, And that's what I like,
the one thing I wish. And this is also why
the podcast was a little bit delayed, and Alix and
Rome could attest to this. We were looking for like
actual system of a down photos like their own label
and agency and publicist was posting, like the coverage and stuff.
We're finding fan footage. We find fan photos. That's about it.
So something's up with that. But like you look at

(16:37):
the sellouts, like look at the football stadium. You know
this was New York at MetLife. You can't say and
no one cares anymore because even in two thousand and
five they would not have.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
Been able to pull out a football stadium.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Uh uh, this is happening now, so it's worth pointing
that stuff out.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
System of Death. Yeah, they are good.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
They are a land that has really pushed themselves into
mainstream audiences.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Again.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
They're the band that They're one of the bands that
I feel like, even if you are not an active
member in this space, you most likely know like two
or three songs.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Sure, yeah, just by It's yeah, And it's cool because
they don't fit like the typical mold of any of
the other genres.

Speaker 4 (17:25):
You know, they always got lumped into that new metal category,
but they never fit. We're never like the other new
metal bands. They weren't really like anything else. And I
love that fact about them because they stand on their own.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
It's like, what that system of it down. You can't
really say, oh yeah, that's.

Speaker 5 (17:39):
All you can say is that the metal?

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Yeah, And also like it's a great way to put
that out, like they were lumped into new metal. All
of their songs fall into two categories. Super serious political
statements that really drive hold a hard message or total
banana Balker's nonsense. Now it can't be both, though sometimes.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Both at the same time. That's fair too.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Not exclusive.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Yeah, but other new metal bands couldn't even try to
do that.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
No, it's I love that they have their own genre,
if you will, it's we know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
It's like unique, very unique.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
Mm hmm. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
System of Down qualifies like every now that a band
transcends past genre and subgenre. You know, you look at
up like System of Dumb may never be as big
as Metallica, But would you say System of Down qualifies
as its own subgenre.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Primus is another example. Primus is not a huge name
like Metallica. Primus is its own genre at this point. Okay,
what do you hear?

Speaker 5 (18:41):
Probably just list the genre as a whole as I
do whatever the f I want genre pretty much.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Yeah, so some basins and drums, yep, I'm just saying
some strong basic and drums too. That's the one thing
also about System everyone pulls their weights.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
There's no oh.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
Crap, what's a good what's a good way I can
put this polite?

Speaker 3 (19:04):
There's no ringo. Okay, I was.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
Gonna say Slash like he's the Yeah, you stand out,
But I think you were going a different directions, the.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Same opposite direction, but you were kind of on the
same thing. Everyone pulls their own weight on this. You know,
there's no one member who's just there for the ride.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Well, it's your head.

Speaker 5 (19:24):
You don't really have this movement down without these four
specific people.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Yeah, it's true, but if they did want to replace
a drummer, there's roughly.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
A million that is sad sacrilege. I will not stand
for that.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
And the year twenty twenty five for sacrilege means nothing.
I'm just saying I like that.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
Darren says, s O A D is not sad without
all four of them, So you should shure.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Maybe he just for like a year, then, just like
that contractual year I could get, they give him a
paid vacation.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
Who wouldn't want?

Speaker 5 (19:59):
Who want?

Speaker 3 (20:00):
What a year is paid vacation? Come on, now, come on.

Speaker 5 (20:03):
With the residuals. Whenever they're not playing, he pretty much
is having a paid vacation.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Is he doing traveling the globe? What's he doing?

Speaker 1 (20:11):
That's definitely not what he's doing. He doesn't like to
leave the States from what I understand. I'm gonna stop
talking now. Yeah, all right, everyone in the chat count
it at sixty seconds. This is all you get for this.
If my co host don't want to talk for the
next sixty seconds, that's fine. This is all you will
get for this topic. And then we move on. Apparently,

(20:35):
in New York there was one fan who liked the
show way too much, was having such a good time
watching corn. The bagpipes and scat singing. Did it afore him? Apparently,
and he was caught on film by fans and attendance
up close for YouTube speak, congratulating himself aggressively. In other terms,

(20:58):
this is unfortunate. But I'll say this because I know
someone's gonna say it again. We're running out of time now.
I'm kind of drawing this intentionally. He was chucking the
corn while watching corn.

Speaker 5 (21:08):
He was he was not a master of his domain.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
No, And here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Security tried to stop and escort him away, but he
was too enveloped in the process and it took not
only security hitting him in the head but other security
guards to carry him out with his pants down. How
much money did you spend just to do that? So

(21:36):
I say, this is the final thing I say, and
that's all you get yes, I see the many comments.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
Now I see him.

Speaker 5 (21:44):
Okay, are gwenda, I love yours?

Speaker 3 (21:48):
Stop encouraging the terrible behavior everyone.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
That's funny though, that's a funny spad on the title
of that song.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
You know what I don't think is funny. This is
me personally though. Why did it have to happen at
the on rock show? Why couldn't it have been country or.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
K pop or hip hop or e d M.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Probably just don't do it at all, do it at home.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
I just this is this is this is this made
borderline national news. And by the way, it probably has
happened in an EEDM show now that I think about it.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
This was a stadium show.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Don't think about it. Stop thinking about it.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
It's right, that's right, that's all.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
This guy's just say, hey, hey, no, no encouraging chats.
I'm upset that it had to happen at one of
our shows. It couldn't happened at even a Hardy, you know,
with his pandering country rock. Why could it happen at
Hardy instead of System of a down in corn whatever.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
Whatever.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
Maybe it's maybe because you know, it doesn't happen often
at our shows, so maybe it's common play.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
I don't know, maybe you know I'm.

Speaker 5 (22:51):
Not happy Aussie. We're all in some way involved in marketing.
You could spin this in being like our music is
so good that people do this at our shows.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
That is not the best that would not get approved
on Google ad Sense, but.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Final thing, and.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Then it's already passed sixty seconds guy's final thing. And
I will say this, well done to the vice at
vice dot com writer. I've often heard it said that
you should never yuck someone's yng, meaning you shouldn't shame
for being into something just because you're not also into
that thing. Well, you know what, yuck, big full yuck.
That's me saying that.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
In public to with a bunch of people around it
who did not get sent to that type of thing.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
No, and other people begging him to stop.

Speaker 5 (23:40):
I don't know how none of the other crowdgoers just
takes a swing at the dude, being like, okay, we
told you to stop.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
We're not security, dude, And he kept and it kept happening.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
You know what, we had a we had a bad
string of terrible security in the first half of this year.
This is the flip side of that, where security had
to go above and beyond with something they shouldn't.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Have, Thank you. They don't go standards, thank you.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Yeah, and they don't get bonus paid for hazard pay
stuff like this. They are trained for something like this.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
They shouldn't have to be poor Jonathan Davis. At least
he found out.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
At least this is a story. At least this is
a story where the security did their job.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
That's what I was saying to you, you know what.
And that's the other shot. This is where security.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
Would above it, beyond it, met life when they should
not have had to.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
That's how we'll put a nice little bow on this terrible,
awful package that we will never talk about again.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
Yeah, hear that chat. I'm looking at you right now,
never again. Thank you security, Thank you Met Life Security.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
You deserve more. You deserve a bonus somehow. I don't
know what it would be, but you deserve it, all right.

Speaker 5 (24:49):
The guy who the guy who had to like carry
him out, has to get like a congressional metal.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
It was like it was like three or four people.

Speaker 5 (24:57):
So, yeah, I wore them like Seal Team six or something.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Yes, well, we talked about that, which was pathetic. Now
we move on to something else.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
That's pathetic.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
And we're gonna take a couple of minutes on this
because it just broke yesterday or this pretty recently. Once again,
Roger Waters is a burnt out, miserable old wretch.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
Of a man.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Well, Alex, can you say that again? I didn't microphone,
didn't pick that up, thank you. Yes, it's well deserved.
Oh here we go.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
I don't even know, like what prompted him to do
this a couple of weeks after Ozzy Osborne passing, but
Roger Waters once again wanted to make sure his thoughts
were known. I'm gonna go back and forth to it now, Okay,
I'll quote mister Waters. Just keep in mind he says
it a lot more surly and angsty, and he's like pretentious.

(25:55):
That's a good way to put him. He thinks he's
saying something insightful and meaningful. Ozzy Osborne, who just died,
bless him in his whatever state that he was in
his whole life, will never know. First of all, although
he was all over the TV for one hundred of
years with his idiocy and nonsense. The music, I have
no idea. I couldn't give it f I don't care

(26:17):
about black Sabbath. I never did, have no interest in
by the heads of chickens or whatever they do.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
I couldn't care less, you know.

Speaker 5 (26:24):
Okay, Roger, get your freaking facts right. He bit the
head off a bat in a dove, not a chicken. Wrong, bir.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Somehow that's the least and that's somehow the dumbest and
least offensive thing he made up on there.

Speaker 5 (26:37):
I know, not only are you mucy being a prick,
but you got your fact wrong. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Oh, he doesn't care. He's just being.

Speaker 5 (26:45):
Shadow run for that type of thing.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
This is the get off my lawn old man moved
here like, this is.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
The wealthy British get off my lawn. That's exactly what
this is. And that sucks. Yeah, Roger Waters hopeful and
responsible with Gilbour and other people for making some of
the best rock music of all time. That is absolutely fact.
He is also a bitter, miserable wretch of a person
who's deserts.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
He is also just ridden in the He has just
ridden the success of the Wall since that lawsuit, and
he's split with Pink Floyd and he has done basically
nothing else. He just tours the Wall. People go still
go see it because it's one of the greatest sounds
of all time. He still talks about how he was
the one who wrote everything that is his baby, and seriously,

(27:34):
he's just never shut the hell up about it.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
Well, and to go after Ozzie after he passed away
is just a such a coward move, like you're gonna
talk all this smack after he just died a couple
of weeks ago, when he can't defend himself and you're
just screaming into the void about.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Oh, well, all that eating.

Speaker 5 (27:51):
I don't even understand what's his beef. It's like, oh,
I didn't care for Black sev Okay, fine, you didn't
like Black sebaf. Millions of other people have, though I.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Don't think there was even beef to begin with. I
think it's just a jealousy thing because this is my
speculation of recent events when Ozzy Osbourne was sick and
Back to the Beginning was announced and that show was
one of the best metal shows to ever happen. Ever,
that's not going to happen for mister Waters in any

(28:20):
close proximity. It wouldn't even be close. We know that
because Pink Foyd Floyd has tried and some rumblings of it,
and it never came to fruition because Gilbourd doesn't want
to work with that anymore. Can't blame him, but it's
never going to happen for him like that. So a
few weeks after his passing and the world morning and

(28:40):
praising and being there and considerate for remembering Ozzy Osbourne
and Black Sabbath and even the TV shows and things
like that, that appreciation in love is not going to
happen for Roger Waters.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
It's not.

Speaker 5 (28:53):
Oh, Roger is definitely not going to have a parade
in his honor like so after.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
Are we ready to read Jack Osborne's responds his son,
who definitely deserves a plus son. By the way, Jack
Osborne is one of my favorite get your craft together,
turn your life around, and do you great for yourself
stories For as messed up as he was as a teenager,
like problems that weren't even his faults too, he works
so hard to become such a good person and like
an advocate for so many things. Anyway, Hey, Roger Waters,

(29:21):
f you how pathetic and out of touch you've become
the only way you seem to get attention these days?
Is by vomiting out bs and the press. My father
always knew you were a continuating source of awfulness. Thanks
for proving him right, Cloud face. Yes, I did censor
that quite well on YouTube, thank you very much.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
I was waiting for the FCC beep button. That's why
I went like that. I'm like, I like your way better.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
I thought I thought ahead.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
I'm like, okay, I gotta be real careful, but I
got to make sure somethings stand out. And he ends
it with the He ends it with a clown face everything.
Jack Osborne said, not only as the son of Ozzy
Osbourne to represent of the Osborn's, but also just the
son of someone who just got ripped apart by another
person online. It's like, get out of here. Clown face

(30:08):
emoji is perfect. Yes, yeah, Roger.

Speaker 5 (30:11):
Well it's just like Roger like just fired with like
it for no reason, Like what what did he hope
to gain?

Speaker 4 (30:19):
Like genuinely, this was just a screaming into the void
to get attention move and I hate that, Like, oh yeah,
I'm just gonna I'm gonna pick Ozzy. He okay, he
just passed away. Boom, that's my target. It's so stupid
and cowardice, and like.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
This sounds like an edgy Reddit post by a twenty
something year old who's trying to get attention and troll
votes and stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (30:40):
Younger younger, I'm talking.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
Like, okay, young teenager, but no, who.

Speaker 5 (30:46):
Just got his first iPhone?

Speaker 1 (30:48):
But no, this was multi platinum every type of a ward.
Imagine old Roger Waters is saying that. By the way,
anyone know how old Roger Waters is, we'll play that
game right now.

Speaker 5 (30:59):
Out someone someone in the chat said it.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
Oh dagg it, someone already said it.

Speaker 5 (31:03):
Okay, yeah, do you want me?

Speaker 3 (31:05):
Go ahead? Go ahead and say it. Yeah, go ahead
say it.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
Eighty three he's eighty three, not that old. He's old asy,
he's not that old, but he's close enough. And he
was older than Nazzy. Oh he's eighty one, eighty one,
but still older than Nausy. And also you're in your eighties.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
Get out of here. What are you doing.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
He's gonna be eighty two on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
No, happy birthday.

Speaker 3 (31:28):
You do not get a cake, sir, not after that behavior.

Speaker 5 (31:32):
Fun fact, that's my guys, guys, I'm not joking. That's
my birthday too.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
Whoa you say it's your birthday. It's my birthday.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
Yeah, you haven't said anything awful like that recently, So
you know what, we'll celebrate yours instead of Roger Waters
just for that.

Speaker 6 (31:49):
Yeah, yeah, so you know what, Good for you, Jack
Osborne and also good for you Poppy, Amy Lee and
Core play it because.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
Comes out tomorrow four pm, one pm Pacific, end of you.
We get the full song. No idea what it's all
gonna sound like, what's vibe and style? All I know
is that one Alex Gray will be calling out of
word crying.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (32:19):
It's gonna sound like magic, and it's gonna taste like magic.
Even though my ears can't taste it, it will taste
like magic to my ear.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Yes, it's going to release the Senses.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
Why did they have to release it on the one
day of the work week where I am actually going
into my office I'm going to be filming at four
pm tomorrow. I'm not gonna be able to listen to
it as it drops. I know you guys are probably
gonna be blowing up our discord chatpie like, oh my god,
it's awesome.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
Well now we will like now that we know the time, Yeah,
we might by the way.

Speaker 5 (32:52):
I will see like it'll be like when Deftones first
came out with My Mind's Mountain and you were at
the Kids Bob concert.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
That is correct.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
Also like when Lincoln Park made their big cloud Down
announcement and I was at the airport and couldn't check
it out. That turned out way worse by the way
in hindsight. But still this, I can only see something
good happening with.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
M You know what, It's gonna be fantastic.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
It's gonna be one song and then there's gonna be
a festival of some type and like Evanescence, spirit Box
and Poppy'll all be there and guess what song they'll
do live together. Yeah, no idea what festival that's gonna be.
But I can see it happening. I mean, Spiritbox and
Poppy both played at Sick New World before, and that's
something we didn't cover. We're gonna go back just a

(33:34):
little bit because there's some Sick New World news. As
Alex is wearing the T shirt for at the shows
at both MetLife and Soldier Fields, there were teases and
hints of System of a Down, highlighting SNW and teasing
that because they were behind the first two Sick New Worlds.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
We might be getting it back in twenty twenty six.
No word yet.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
It would be easy so, but hypothetically, because the rumor
is because of and Sevenfold City two, that would be
a good double headliner that won't destroy the bank like
Metallica Lincoln Park SYSTEMO down at events. Sevenfold is a
potential headlighter. That's speculation and rumor, but that would be
very fitting for what they do at Sicknew Worlds. I

(34:16):
think that's smart.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
It would be awesome.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Also, the spots below those two hypothetically speaking of it
essence Poppy and spirit Box, I could see that.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
But that it would be amazing.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
Yeah, that's already insane. I would already go, but just
for a three long I would too.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
And we had we had.

Speaker 4 (34:36):
Systems, SIP System and slit not Yes, the first year
I can't see the back of my shirt.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
I think that was the year one.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
That was year two, That was the year I was there.

Speaker 1 (34:46):
The first year was System, Deftones and System Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:50):
Okay, okay, that would still be cool too, and it
would still follow this train that we're on right now.
I think get corn back on there. I mean these
are all really fun EGX you throw. However, many more
they slam into Sick New World every year, and that
would be amazing, it would be so fun.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
I agree, And that's all possible.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
And like I was there when there was bringing the
Eliza was way up the car and Baby Medal was
there playing that day also, so they did King Slayer
Live together and it was great.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
People don't Yeah, I.

Speaker 5 (35:15):
Saw video coverage of that. It's such an awesome show.
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
So you know what, Danny Elfman, so we don't know,
you can.

Speaker 5 (35:23):
Yeah, it's always awesome when Baby Medal gets like their
their features in their live show with them.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
And again, since Baby Metal has so many collaborations now
and Sick New World has, at least the last two
years that had happened, had a lot of bands that
do collaborations on stage. Because Poppy was playing for several
with several people they perform with Knock she performed with
Knock Loose and bad Omens on the same day.

Speaker 3 (35:45):
All that stuff could happen.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
So you know what, when we go back the reason
I bring that alow we get all back together, Sicky
World or not, that's all speculation, But you know what,
there's gonna come a time when these three ladies are
on the same show on the same day, and guess
what's gonna happen there to play a song we haven't
even heard yet.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
Alex is going to implode.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
I'm gonna say, Alex, are you gonna be able to
sleep tonight?

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Oh? I already, It's gonna be like half ready to go.

Speaker 5 (36:14):
It's like good I was gonna say. It's like when
you're like six years old, it's Christmas Eve. It's like
the night before Christmas.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
That red tricycle is downstairs under the tree and she
can't touch it until morning.

Speaker 5 (36:26):
You're not at X plus three sixty is down there
with the game that your mom did not want you
to have. Ooh yeah, your dad bought it anyway because
he's cool.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
And also until then, Alex is just gonna have to
play that five second clip on Instagram, just that five
second clip over and over again.

Speaker 5 (36:45):
Just like that Beyoncenven music.

Speaker 3 (36:47):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
No, I'll just put my heavies on and then I'll
just be like, Okay, hey, phone turn on when this
new song releases and boom that's my alarm.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
Yeah oh yeah, and I'm just ready to go it
catches you by surprise automatically. Yeah, that's I was gonna
say too. She's like at the grocery store and she
just stops dead. It's like and that entrance.

Speaker 5 (37:07):
Yeah, she's like in conversation with somebody and just so
you're like, just blast into your ears.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
That's actually not a bad Shut your mouth, Shut your mouth.
I'm listening to the new song. I cannot talk right now.
I'm gonna be kind of a buttole.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
Disassociate with the entire I hope you're not driving when
that happens.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
I really hope you're not behind the wheel.

Speaker 5 (37:30):
Yeah, I'm standing at the freeway right here after a
seven car pile up.

Speaker 3 (37:37):
Yes, exactly.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
Apparently someone is screaming the lyrics to a song, but
it's incoherent so far.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
We'll get back to you on the road. On the road,
she keeps.

Speaker 5 (37:47):
Going into what people have described as death growls, whatever
those are.

Speaker 1 (37:52):
Oh see, I think this, man, I think this will
be more of a singing song. I think this will
be more of a ballad of emo.

Speaker 5 (37:59):
There's gotta be at least some death browse section, a little.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
Bit Courtney and Poppy screaming while Amy Lee is singing.

Speaker 5 (38:11):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (38:12):
Okay, I am calling in sick tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
I cannot go to work. I have to. This is
this is all that's happening. This is it.

Speaker 5 (38:21):
I wish I could be there with you.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
You're sick. I'm so sorry I got you sick.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
Okay, this is the perfect Then we'll all pretend to
be each other's doctor, call in for each other.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Yeah, that's how it works the old system.

Speaker 5 (38:34):
You just call my boss directly.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
Yeah, doctor Gray Rowan cannot go to work.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
He is very ill.

Speaker 5 (38:42):
Yeah, I just I'll be back on Friday though.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
Wait, I just thought I saw you and image of you,
all three of you on a podcast last night.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
Yeah, that's how they got sick.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Actually, very ill.

Speaker 1 (38:56):
As we move on, we'll keep up to date with
all that. I'll post it and share it out probably
as soon as I find out the song is public.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
Other cool stuff coming up.

Speaker 1 (39:04):
We're going to move on a little bit quickly, because
again we did start lane apologize for that. Oh and
someone just made a good comment. This is gonna be
the boy genius of metal. Yeah, fair enough. So other
cool stuff that might be coming out next year New
Alison Chains. It's been a while and Jerry Cantrell said
they wanted to have something this year, but it looks

(39:24):
like Alice in Chains tour and album are being aimed
for for twenty twenty six. I think that's pretty awesome
they're still sticking with it.

Speaker 3 (39:33):
Have you have you've seen.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
Alian there was good.

Speaker 6 (39:35):
Yeah, they were at Sick New World Now they were Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
I've seen him a couple of times with William Duval.
I mean, he knows how to cover the old stuff.
He really does. He does a good job. So definitely
recommend that. I'm looking forward to it. He did an
interview with Cleveland dot Com apparently, and it's been transferred
over to Metal Injection of other sites. I'm happy that
they're going to keep doing that. They've been touring anyway,
So if you're a big fan of Alison Change Jerry Cantrell.

(40:01):
Jerry Cantrell just had a solo album come out too.
We're getting some of that this year, and we're also
getting some more stuff potentially from one Taylor Momson in
the Pretty Reckless. Apparently the new album is not finished yet,
but there's definitely stuff on the horizon. She did an
interview not only praising ac DC after touring with him

(40:22):
with them, which is, by the way, pretty good.

Speaker 3 (40:25):
Gig.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
Playing in the baseball stadiums opening for ACDC pretty good.
It's either baseball or football. I don't remember which, but
she did a cool interview about it. Also, they invented
rock and roll. I know they're one of the inventors
of this, but to see it every night, it punches
you in the face. I think they might be the
greatest live band of all time. They're insane, and I
feel so honored or blessed to be without them and
have such a great report. It's so nice to hear

(40:47):
how grateful she is still because yeah, you hear Taylor Momson.
She has all on paper. You would think she'd be
like the Prima Donna, hoity toity it was an actress
for so many years, think of high level, no is
rock and roll spirit and understands everything about the business
and the lifestyle through and through. There is not one
thing fake or phony about her, and she's still really

(41:08):
grateful about Everything's really.

Speaker 4 (41:11):
Cool to see she's always been super down to earth,
very easy to talk to, super super cool woman. I
am so excited for whatever they're working on whatever they've
been working on. When it finally comes out into a
full album, I will be right there.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
I am so excited.

Speaker 5 (41:25):
Just in general, it's cool when you kind of like
have those interactions with like new bands and old bands
when they tour together, because usually the new bands are
always like, this is literally a dream come true.

Speaker 3 (41:34):
So definitely.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
Also, I love it when they do that because they
introduce we all know, a lot of the older rock
fans are not super open or welcoming to a lot
of these newer bands just because they don't know them
they're really into So like ACD fans, they're like, I
really love ACDC. I don't really want to listen to
anything else. Boom, now they're listening to the pretty reckless.
I love it when that happens.

Speaker 5 (41:54):
It's good there for ACDC. It's probably gonna be good
enough for me.

Speaker 3 (41:57):
Yeah. Yeah, that's got to be a good statement, like
a sign off too. And someone was just saying, yeah,
it was football stadium, so there you go.

Speaker 1 (42:02):
I do remember that they played where the Washington Commanders played.
It's somewhat on East coast proximity, so yeah, the football stadiums. Again,
more rock shows getting sold out that's nice. It's happening,
so that's cool to see that for the pretty reckless.
I do hope we get more news at another single
sooner than later. I'm not expecting a new single next

(42:23):
week or anything, but still getting something else before the
end of the year would be really nice considering we
just got really a strong single that shows yeah, they
still got it. So absolutely that being said, we are
going to go over one more thing.

Speaker 3 (42:36):
I got to pull up the right one.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
Last week, our album versus album was chosen by Alex
and it was of the zombies. Would it be White
Zombie Astro Creep two thousand or Rob Zombie and his
album Hell Billy Deluxe. Oh, we got a winner, Rob
Zombie Hell Billy Deluxe by sixty eight percent. You know,

(43:00):
I was expecting it not to be close, but this
is a full on beatdown.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
I was expecting it to.

Speaker 4 (43:07):
Be a little closer because of the mainstream popularity of
how Billy Deluxe.

Speaker 5 (43:12):
Fair yeah no, oh yeah, and Dragula alone, I think
is just like just has like that iconic status over
anything White Zombie makes, which is not a knock on them,
it's just more like what's gone popular.

Speaker 3 (43:26):
I agree, like it's more well known singles.

Speaker 1 (43:29):
Yeah, more well known singles by far I think for
Rob Zombie, and I think that stands out three point
four thousand votes, So thank you to everyone that voted
on that on the main pole. Very cool to see.
There was some good comments in the discussion. However, there
was one comment I don't know if it's still there
or not. Someone complained, you're compare with white Zobbie to
Rob Zombie. I'm like, yes, I said which about that?

(43:51):
Apparently someone had a problem with that, but everyone else
is okay with it. So I'm going to consider this
a good success. And I like that people are responding
to these polls well. I like that there's getting a
lot of contention, like votes and things like that.

Speaker 3 (44:04):
So thank you everyone. Sure those round.

Speaker 1 (44:07):
Now we are going to go into one a little
bit of news that leads into this song of the week,
this one chosen by Row and Row.

Speaker 3 (44:13):
What do you want to lead into what the song
of the week is?

Speaker 5 (44:16):
Yeah, guys, So, just like System of a Down, we
got another band finally, like kind of like been coming
back for the last couple of years, a band that,
just like System of Down, we were unsure if they
would ever really do anything again. And I'm just so
happy because this is the first time that I got
to experience a band I love drop a new song
that I am here for. It's not something that I

(44:37):
get onto years after it already came out and they
already kind of went quiet, and now I could just
it's just like, this is just awesome for me. It's
mud vays, hurt people, hurt people, and it's just an
awesome song. LD fifty is legit one of my favorite
metal records of all time, and this gives me those
vibes so much. It's it feels like they're trying to

(44:59):
go back to that era when they weren't as focused
on mainstream appeal as like some of their later albums were,
and especially with how they're bringing back the makeup look.
It's just it's just so much fun to be here
for this song. So Rowan likes it?

Speaker 2 (45:19):
Yes, also, all right, Jed check it out.

Speaker 1 (45:22):
I don't know why this is the top comment for me,
but I'm gonna read it because I think it's funny.

Speaker 3 (45:25):
The year is two thousand.

Speaker 1 (45:27):
I'm about to crack open a cold Surge, fire up
the PS one, and head to napster to download this
to my gaming playlist. This is straight LG fifty vibes
and I'm here for it.

Speaker 5 (45:37):
Yes, it's so much like LD fifty It's just awesome.
I wasn't even round for that time, but I can
imagine like the feelings like of that album when that dropped.

Speaker 3 (45:48):
Mm hmmm quite so.

Speaker 2 (45:50):
Opening up with the screamy screams right out.

Speaker 3 (45:52):
The gate yet yeah, that big, that big slappy bass.

Speaker 1 (45:55):
Absolutely Also, I mean that's war is gonna be a
lot of fun. It's mud Vane, Static X Invented. Both
bands are playing their anniversary for mud Vayn LD fifty
and static X Wisconsin Death Trip.

Speaker 2 (46:08):
That's pretty cool, fantastic fits.

Speaker 5 (46:10):
That's such a great like. That's such a great like pairing.

Speaker 1 (46:13):
By the way, is it is? And then Vended opening
both of those up. That's also really well done.

Speaker 5 (46:18):
Choosing Vended music very much is in line with them.
So yeah, again getting to Alex's point earlier, getting a
new band with that similar sound.

Speaker 3 (46:28):
Yep, so very nice.

Speaker 1 (46:30):
That leads us too our album with this album which
has a personal connection for one rowan go ahead, So guys.

Speaker 5 (46:39):
I mentioned that Saturday is my birthday, but fun fact,
today September third is my dad's birthday. He's we our
birthdays are literally three days apart. It makes it very
easy I remember, and I hope so. But fun fact chat.
He is watching this right now. I don't think he's

(46:59):
gonna comments with you all he does. I don't think
he has a YouTube account. Dad, if you're listening to this,
text me that you're here. But anyway, I'm the albums
i'm picking, I know are two of your personal favorites.
We got Van Halen's nineteen eighty four and Guns and
Roses Appetite for a Destruction For both of these albums,
these were these were albums that when my dad got

(47:20):
his hands on for both instances, it was a band
that he latched onto instantly. It was like a thing
where it's like I absolutely love this record. I love
this band. I need to see them live. I need
to like get a T shirt or like their previous work.
Van Halen nineteen eighty four was his first met like
his first rock concert, so it was just a big

(47:42):
thing for him. And Guns and Roses that was just
like again, that was a band that he kind of
was part of that day one wave with this album,
and I just know that he just has like a
very deep personal relationship with both these albums, so you know,
just kind of like wanted to see which one he
would put above and Dad. Again, if you're hearing this,

(48:05):
just text me like your answer and I'll just say
it out loud for the chat. I feel like they
would want to hear it.

Speaker 1 (48:11):
So yeah, happy birthday, Pops, Happy birthday, birthday to pop
a Buck.

Speaker 3 (48:16):
Yeah, happy birthday. Rowan Senior.

Speaker 1 (48:17):
I don't know your name, but I'll just call you that.
His name is MIKEE. Michael Rowan. Thank you very much.
So the poll is live right now for our live viewers.
Thank you guys so much again for tuning in live
and voting and everything else.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (48:34):
I will read that after we get through our other shenanigans.
By the way, we're five likes away for another round
of festival rocker flops, so please consider doing that helps
us out of time. Just at that like button. It's
free and it makes us smile. Don't she want us
to be happy for at least one minute?

Speaker 3 (48:47):
Please?

Speaker 1 (48:47):
We talked about that garbage for one minute at least
you do? Is itIt a like button at this point.

Speaker 3 (48:51):
Woof.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
So while the pole is going, Alex, we had some
tours get announced this week. Do you have anything you'd
like to bring up for tours announcement? There aren't that many,
but still.

Speaker 5 (49:03):
Because I got his answer, is it? Okay?

Speaker 3 (49:08):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (49:09):
I have something I'm just waiting for.

Speaker 5 (49:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think he just entered, he says
in here than I just that's what clarify sorry for.
You know the joke about an old man asking his
gen z child to help him with technology, that's very
relevant in our relationship. Huh here, love you. I announced

(49:35):
the albums, look at them and get back to me.

Speaker 1 (49:40):
This is somehow better than I would have anticipated this
to half to play out.

Speaker 2 (49:46):
So I love your dad. What what's what's your favorite album?

Speaker 1 (49:50):
Okay, hang on a second, wait for his response, Alex,
the few tours this week, go for it all right.

Speaker 4 (49:57):
We've got Wrecking Ball, Metal, Madness for Turning with Frozen Soul, Suffocation,
Devlourment and more, Laurna, Shore, Pale Face, Swiss, Attila, Chelsea Grin,
Brand of Sacrifice, and Disembodied Tyrant, who are announced for
Sonic Temple twenty twenty six. Yes and Halsey announced the
Back to bad Lands tour, so she is coming back
this way. October fourteenth kicks off the tour in LA

(50:20):
and then she is in the road again. The twenty
fifteen debut by Halsey super amazing album, two times platinum,
and this is a celebration of that entire album.

Speaker 1 (50:31):
By the way, for those wondering why we talked about Halsey,
Halsey is more rock than a lot of rock bands.

Speaker 3 (50:36):
Out there right now.

Speaker 4 (50:37):
Absolutely, we won't talk about pop artists unless they deserve
to be talked about. Halsey is definitely one of these exceptions.

Speaker 5 (50:44):
She's a very medal and Halsey has gone metal and
it was so good that I wish she did like
a whole album of it.

Speaker 2 (50:52):
I woua that song was so good, so good.

Speaker 3 (50:55):
Halsey's going to fill hals is going to be the
fourth for that Amy Lee Poppy, Courtneyla Plants commedy.

Speaker 2 (51:02):
I'm thinking, man, actually we were to have a fourth,
I thought about it.

Speaker 5 (51:05):
I thought about I think I would want Chelsea Wolf
as like the fourth or Smith.

Speaker 2 (51:09):
Then we're gonna have it's gonna end up. What's a squid?
What's a sixth.

Speaker 4 (51:14):
Okay, it's gonna be a squid because I have to
be in there too. Okay, they need a bassist.

Speaker 3 (51:19):
Well, yeah, I sing.

Speaker 2 (51:22):
Too, but I'm not going to try and sing amongst
that company.

Speaker 3 (51:25):
Alex.

Speaker 1 (51:26):
There's a problem though. Emma from Sick Puppy, she's the
basis for evan Essence.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
Now, yeah, so she's busy with Evanescence.

Speaker 5 (51:36):
Well did they say that this was a spirit box
or Evan Evanessence song or is it just.

Speaker 3 (51:42):
Individual? I just like I just like that.

Speaker 1 (51:44):
Emma got straight under the bus, I mean dragged under.

Speaker 4 (51:47):
That bus the puppy stuff to do. Luke, she's busy.
You should she shut your mouth.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
She's busy.

Speaker 1 (51:53):
I misread that my fault. I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (51:57):
Row.

Speaker 1 (51:58):
Do we have an answer yet or so we go
out to upcoming albums for this Friday.

Speaker 5 (52:02):
I do have an answer, and I'll say it after albums, Sure,
go for it. So first of all, first of all,
getting it out of the way, we do have the
Korney Poppy Amy Lee collab coming tomorrow. I'm still it's
still frustrating that I'm going to be working and also,
by the way, I'm going to be filming with my iPhone,
so I can't even like listen to it.

Speaker 3 (52:20):
That is worse.

Speaker 5 (52:21):
Yeah, we're filming shorts tomorrow. It's it is what it is. Also,
the other single of note that we got this Friday
is President's with Destroy Me. This is supposed to be
the last single before their debut EP. They performed this
like you know, at down Load with all the other
songs so far rage sucked, hate that song, but this

(52:44):
was the song in the set list that me and
my friends were kind of like more excited about, Like
I'm very curious to see how a studio track of
this sound. I liked the live version, so I'm hopeful
maybe this will be the song that will finally get
me to take President more seriously. Beyond that, we have
blessed The Fall classic metalcore band with Gallows, Dark Angel,

(53:07):
classic thrash metal band with Extinction Level Events. And then
finally we got two bands, both both featuring the sky
motif in their covers or in their titles. First we
got David Byrne, who is lead singer for The Talking Heads.
We got him with who is the Sky Again? Solo
work not Talking Heads work, and then Fleshwater with two

(53:30):
thousand in search eventless Sky. Guys, if you don't know Fleshwater,
they are amazing. They kind of they kind of scratched
that classic grungy metally itch of like nineties like stuff
like nineties alt metal. Just like they had an album
come out like back in twenty twenty and that was

(53:51):
really good. So this is their first album in a while.
I'm just really excited about this. I really enjoyed their
first and yeah, check them out. They're a great new
band to get into.

Speaker 3 (54:03):
Very cool.

Speaker 5 (54:05):
Before you get finally, oh sorry.

Speaker 1 (54:06):
Okay, before you give the results in chat our Sapphire
or Discord mod said, for the fourth person of that
Mount Rushmore. For the ladies, Amy Lee, Poppy Courtela Plants,
Shirley Manson should be the fourth, they said, But.

Speaker 2 (54:19):
She doesn't have a black hair. I have the black hair.

Speaker 1 (54:23):
I'll tell Poppy ties her hair all the time.

Speaker 5 (54:30):
You know, it's just wasn't Poppy naturally blonde?

Speaker 3 (54:33):
I know she looked blonde.

Speaker 2 (54:36):
I'm poppy. When we first met her, she was very,
very very blonde. Yeah, but was that.

Speaker 5 (54:41):
Natural or did she die? I don't know.

Speaker 4 (54:45):
Come on, I already fit. We don't have to buy anything,
no hair care products.

Speaker 1 (54:49):
Yeah, ty budget they're working on over there.

Speaker 4 (54:54):
Yeah, exactly. We got to help them cut corners and
save money.

Speaker 3 (54:58):
Do we have it with yes? Do we have a response?

Speaker 5 (55:01):
Rowan? Okay, yes, so my dad said nineteen eighty four
just the right age when it came out, but really close,
so fair enough. I got an answered. Van Halen nineteen
eighty four is one of my dad's favorite records. These
are both one of his two of his favorite records,
so it's kind of cool to have like.

Speaker 3 (55:19):
Yeah, yeah, fair enough, Okay, very good, I'll read.

Speaker 5 (55:23):
The record chats also agree with me too.

Speaker 1 (55:25):
Yeah, and I'm going to leave the fat chat open
because we did hit our like goal. Alex and Rowan,
are you time to book some ridiculous festivals because if
it's like last week and the week before, we could
be up to some shinanigans.

Speaker 3 (55:36):
Are you both ready?

Speaker 5 (55:38):
I am very much ready.

Speaker 1 (55:39):
Okay, I don't know if I am. Every week when
we hit a light goal, we play festival rocker for level.
We book random bands in the middle of nowhere festival
four bands per day.

Speaker 3 (55:48):
We hit one festival.

Speaker 1 (55:49):
Goal already with everyone hitting the like button, we have
some super chats to go, but to read them while
we have this up right now. Number one from el
Ee Thank you Ellie Eats. How ironic that the man
behind the wall has turned to an egomaniac sociopath and
has even been accused of being fascist. What he said
here may be the final nail in the coffin. Go
get him Jack. Yeah, it really sucks that everything that

(56:11):
Eliu just said actually has legitimate proof behind in his
past statements from mister Waters. So yeah, that sucks.

Speaker 3 (56:22):
Rock and Movies with Tyler.

Speaker 1 (56:24):
Thank you, Tyler. So I'm now a year and a
week into my relationship with the anniversary. Last week also
quite a day for new music from Ninie Nails, Alter Bridge,
Sun Don't Shine and more. Yeah, alter Bridge just announced
new song upcoming album and Nice Nails have the video
come out for as a live as you need me
to be if you have to check that out, Thank
you Tyler. Finally, yeah, finally, one more a quick one
from Elie Eats. The berber Ding is finally.

Speaker 2 (56:45):
Back, Yes they are.

Speaker 3 (56:47):
Mud Baine is back with the burber Ding.

Speaker 5 (56:49):
The burberd Ding is great, but you guys gotta listen
to death Blooms. If anyone doesn't know that Mud based,
So that's my fear mud mud Base.

Speaker 1 (56:55):
The LD fifty really is worth playing even now like
it has Actually it does feel like it's still something
like a Timestampara.

Speaker 5 (57:04):
No forever, so many amazing songs.

Speaker 3 (57:07):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (57:08):
Alright, it's sound to book some ridiculous festivals. I hope,
I hope we get one of the new ones I added.
I hope because I added a qualifier.

Speaker 3 (57:16):
I know I'm.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Jinxing it, but I'm putting it out there. I really
hope we get what.

Speaker 3 (57:21):
We land on something. Hey, hey, don't shake your head.
No I'm not.

Speaker 2 (57:25):
You can't see me. It's fine.

Speaker 3 (57:27):
Oh really I can't. I'm pretty sure I can.

Speaker 5 (57:30):
No.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
Yeah, I just I'm anticipating the madness.

Speaker 3 (57:35):
Okay, here we go.

Speaker 1 (57:36):
First festival is our own that we hit for the LIKEO.
We'll name it after we get these four bands.

Speaker 3 (57:41):
Here we go.

Speaker 1 (57:41):
Number one, that would be mister Rob Zombie. Speaking of Zombie,
it's a very nice Rob.

Speaker 5 (57:50):
I could tell from the photo. That's cool.

Speaker 3 (57:52):
I had to remember because that was at ride Fest
last year. Number two slip Knot. Yes, you know, I
feel like we're doing pretty good. Let me go back.

Speaker 1 (58:04):
Okay, Rob Zombie and slip Not, I have to get
to a different folder though. We'll keep those two. But
I got the wrong folder, but it doesn't matter. Number
three Chevelle is I'm very happy with how they were
looking for us. Okay, this is really good. And number
four Goo Goo Dolls the heaviest one of all.

Speaker 2 (58:26):
Yeah, it's too heavy for me. Man, we can't go.

Speaker 3 (58:28):
You think I went out Iris like you guys.

Speaker 1 (58:32):
You guys would be singing along to Iris waiting for
slip Nott and Rob Zombie.

Speaker 3 (58:37):
Don't act like you wouldn't be.

Speaker 5 (58:38):
I like Goo Dolls. I see them. They put on
a good show.

Speaker 2 (58:42):
Yeah, I can handle them.

Speaker 1 (58:43):
It's listening to Broadway and Black Balloon. Oh yeah, there
there's the nostalgia. Then Chevelle and Rob Zombie and Slipnot.
I'm going come.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
On, Oh yeah, I am there?

Speaker 3 (58:55):
Yeah, chat yes or no? Would you go to well?
What will we even call this? Huh hm?

Speaker 1 (59:03):
Rob's us, Slipknot, Chevelle, Goo Goo Dolls Goo.

Speaker 5 (59:09):
Doles is just like the outlier. I feel like it
would be so much easier if we had someone kind
of like freakier, you know.

Speaker 1 (59:17):
But god, what, oh this is the worst joke I've
told it a long time. So instead of a new
metal Fest, it's the Goo Metal Fest.

Speaker 7 (59:27):
Because I know, not the roll, but it's and.

Speaker 1 (59:38):
And you could say it's g U if you really
want to. I don't hear anyone else coming up with names.

Speaker 2 (59:43):
Yeah, we're just gonna call it them. Yeah, that rock
Fest on.

Speaker 5 (59:50):
Goo a name like fest. I don't want to repeat.

Speaker 1 (59:54):
Goom Metal Metal Fest is at least a little more.
I here last I hear last Goo medal. Someone just said,
oh mg, no, okay, maybe people don't love it, you
know what. Okay, Well, Santa's boy. We were talking about that.
Santa has been making the rounds apparently at the so

(01:00:16):
you know what, it's his time off right now. Let
him take some shows before the holidays pick up.

Speaker 5 (01:00:21):
He's got three months people, Let him enjoy it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:24):
Yes, OMG no Goo metal fan.

Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
Someone smelt it out with the gu You see, I'm
not too far off.

Speaker 4 (01:00:33):
Thanks, But you already won the naming rights on this one.
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
Oh that's fine.

Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
I accept that in defeat of the agreements, but we
still get it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:43):
I see, Yes, this is a yes. Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:00:46):
Up next to eat Fest. Thank you so much, Ellie.
Eat again here we go eat fest. Band number one,
power Wolf. We're getting the German power Metal. My wife
has already booked a ticket. Number two, shine Down. My
wife has booked a VIP front row seats. Number three Incubus.

(01:01:08):
This is all over the place now at this point,
actually shine down in Incubis. There's been DW festivals where
they built them in on the same day. The power
Wolf is the fun one to add to that. Number
four Within Temptation, we are all over the place. Okay, great, simply.

Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
More melodic, yeah, fronted, and.

Speaker 1 (01:01:34):
They've done tons of collaborations also, so all right cool with.

Speaker 3 (01:01:41):
Like Nightwish and Pop a Roach and anyone else.

Speaker 1 (01:01:44):
You can think of, so tons of people, so all right, yeah,
my wife just shined in OMG, this is for me. Yeah,
pretty much, shine Down, power Wolf, Incubis, within Temptation. By
the way she was with me at that with them
Temptation show that I shot that, So there you go.
I'd go to youth Fest. There's not a reason why
I wouldn't go. I would travel for something like this.

Speaker 3 (01:02:05):
That's fun.

Speaker 5 (01:02:05):
How about you guys, you think you make money as
the organizer and do you think you lose money because
your wife is buying the VIP package.

Speaker 3 (01:02:11):
She's not buying every VIP package.

Speaker 4 (01:02:14):
Shine down an incubit and to pull in a lot
of money here, Yes, absolutely cool.

Speaker 5 (01:02:19):
This is a fun one.

Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
It is shoutout. Just did their arena tour, so you
know what this is? Gonna make money?

Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
I say yes, someone says the past for me. Okay,
this bops. You guys would be there, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,
some stuff, Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
There's a lot of yes. Is I want to see
his power will so bad? I promise it's worth it.
Youth Fest, well done. Finally Tyler Fest rocking movies with Tyler.
Thank you again, Tyler.

Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
Here we go.

Speaker 1 (01:02:47):
Number one for Tyler def Leppard coming out big, very nice.
Number two, Sleep Token. That's a matchup, not this vibe,
but it's already gonna make so much money you won't
know what to do with it.

Speaker 5 (01:03:05):
Number three you get the old and New Cross Oh
Stained and Sleep Token and Death Leopard.

Speaker 1 (01:03:12):
H I don't know how that's gonna mesh with the
fans of Sleep Token.

Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
I just don't see it right. No, oh, now you
want the ones that I added?

Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
I see.

Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
That's yeah, Okay, you got one shot. Here we go,
Come on, all that remains, you know, I'm not I'm
not sure. This is a very fifty fifty split festival.
This is Tyler fests. Come late festival. You just show
up an hour and a half late, or hang out

(01:03:47):
in the parking lot.

Speaker 5 (01:03:48):
Yeah, no, SUOUSI let's like, let's tailgate a little bit
then we'll go in.

Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
That's a lot of that's so much tailgating in the
parking lot, like massive amounts of it.

Speaker 5 (01:03:58):
Who you're the opening ten and I did? It is
not belong to god. I'll go in.

Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
Oh, Sleep Token fans would boo Aaron Lewis as soon
as he went on. That actually might make it entertaining.

Speaker 5 (01:04:10):
That would actually and he I would like to imagine
a truck. He just walks off stage like before he
even gets like a fast way through a.

Speaker 1 (01:04:18):
Song in I love the reactions from some people in chats.
Oh no, oof, it's ruined it. That crowd will should
be interesting. Yeah, the crowd will be interesting. I go
for the chaos. I love Sleep Token but nah, that's
a smard. No, yes, like we're all over the place.

Speaker 5 (01:04:40):
I might go because someone did the guy who did
say Sleep Token fans will boo Aaron Lewis. That might
be a show in itself. So you know that that
won me over.

Speaker 1 (01:04:49):
Yeah, and it's a reverse order that we did them,
so opening all their remains stained Sleep token def Leppard
and I get people like sleepok was big enough that
or it's deaf Leppard though that's a state. I don't
know what city this would be in.

Speaker 5 (01:05:03):
But.

Speaker 3 (01:05:06):
I would know.

Speaker 2 (01:05:06):
I don't think Aaron Lewis would be in the UK.
It's very split.

Speaker 3 (01:05:10):
Yeah, see that's what I'm saying. It's such a fifty
to fifty.

Speaker 2 (01:05:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:05:13):
Part half of this would be perfect for UK.

Speaker 1 (01:05:15):
The other half would be perfect for Dothan, Alabama.

Speaker 3 (01:05:20):
So I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
It's just we're going to Maine. Pop it right over there.
That's where this sin main.

Speaker 5 (01:05:27):
So we'll get like Stephen King, like in our.

Speaker 1 (01:05:30):
Audience, Stephen King and hockey fans, that is correct.

Speaker 4 (01:05:33):
So.

Speaker 5 (01:05:37):
Everyone, that's everyone in the crowd.

Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
Yes, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
I think def Leppard would be super fun. I love
def Leppard.

Speaker 4 (01:05:45):
They're fun, they are super fri sleep Choking would be amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:05:48):
So I'm going to be there.

Speaker 3 (01:05:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:05:50):
And also if we know and we can prepare for tailgating,
that could be pretty good, and we'll be working getting ready.

Speaker 4 (01:05:56):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
It would be in Florida. No, no, no, we are
not looking this for Florida. I don't think so hard. No,
it may sound like a Florida festival, but no, that's
just our directive.

Speaker 3 (01:06:09):
We're not doing that.

Speaker 5 (01:06:12):
Our friend's shock is shocking this so much, buddy.

Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
I get everyone's answer in the chat is valid this time.
If you say yes or no to this, I feel you.
I understand. Huh what do we say? Everyone's responded. It's
just like it's just like a fifty one split. Yep,
Tyler Festus going to Maine.

Speaker 3 (01:06:37):
But you know what it will make. It will make
money def Leppard and Spirit or sleep Token.

Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
Yes, it will make money. Okay, we did it is Yeah,
now I got both of you wanting those qualifiers. Yeah,
you see how the game works.

Speaker 2 (01:06:56):
It's over. Now, it's done us. We can't take it.

Speaker 5 (01:07:00):
I'm very biased when it comes to our qualifiers. I'm
not ashamed to admit that.

Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
Oh you haven't even seen them all. That's the best part.

Speaker 1 (01:07:06):
Yeah, I need to like reorganize some so that way
qualifiers happen a little bit more. But yeah, some of
the qualifiers are ridiculous, even by my own standards, And
I made the game.

Speaker 5 (01:07:18):
So yeah, there's like the one where it's like, oh, well,
Kids Bop, the entire set list is.

Speaker 3 (01:07:24):
One of them is his Kids Pop.

Speaker 1 (01:07:25):
And that's qualifier is if it's kids Pop, will be
performing the next band's entire sets. Meaning if it's like
a Slayer, then Slayer won't be there, but it will
be Kids Pop performing an hour of Slayer songs.

Speaker 5 (01:07:39):
Well, that will at least be entertaining.

Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
Sure, but there's also a lot of other bands in
here that you don't want Kids Pop to cover. Kids
Pop covering Steel Panthers going to get people arrested.

Speaker 2 (01:07:51):
No, it's like Hot to Go. It's about pizza. It
Hot to Go.

Speaker 3 (01:07:57):
It's about pizza. According to Kids to Go, that is right.
They did.

Speaker 1 (01:08:02):
Yes, they've covered several chaperone and they made it about
being a cowgirl. It's not about coming out and like
standing out in a small town. It's now just about
being a cowgirl in the West. Yee haw, that's what
it's about for Kids Bop. Yeah, sounds like I'm making
that up, doesn't it.

Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
I'm not put it back, put it back in that box.
I didn't want it to come out.

Speaker 1 (01:08:24):
Did you add that one for the band? I suggested, yes,
scretch in now it's the meaning of pain.

Speaker 3 (01:08:33):
Oh all right?

Speaker 1 (01:08:38):
Is this what happens when I run like if I
if we go a little late, after I accidentally start
the show late, everyone just starts losing their mind.

Speaker 2 (01:08:44):
It's on me then, why it's just downhill?

Speaker 1 (01:08:48):
Yes, like you at you get what you get after
six o five at this point for your Eastern time
or Western time, there we go, yeah my time zone. Yes,
stop screaming. Bam bam, there we go.

Speaker 3 (01:09:04):
We're back.

Speaker 1 (01:09:04):
Thank you so much for hanging out with us and
runn late a little bit. Thank you for the super chats.
They do help the town. And thank you for deeing
the like button, and thank you for your patience. Sometimes
things happen and sometimes I pay dearly for them. Just
for that, I'm going to take it out in festival
rocker Flop next week. I am going to do some
terrible things in the background somehow, just to make the
game worse. Yep, that's what you get. So that being said, Alice,

(01:09:29):
you have anything before we close shop up?

Speaker 2 (01:09:33):
No, I'm good. Thank you, Rowan.

Speaker 3 (01:09:34):
How about you.

Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
Good.

Speaker 5 (01:09:37):
Just another happy birthday to my dad, love you, big guy.

Speaker 1 (01:09:40):
And yeah, happy birthday, Happy birthday as well, and happy
birthday to Rowan as well. Our poll votes for that
alb Versus album for our live chat, it was close
Van Hanlin's nineteen eighty four and fifty three percent. Close close,
And I think that's a very fair respective response. So

(01:10:02):
on the YouTube community tab and I'll share it out
on the podcast links and everything else on all the socials.
You can vote on that one. I'm gonna post it
right now, web Bam.

Speaker 3 (01:10:11):
It's live.

Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
Thank you so much, Please vote share the links. It
really does help a ton Thank you for everyone engaging
in chat, even with some of you were ridiculous. There
were some ridiculous topics. I can't fault you.

Speaker 5 (01:10:22):
I love the ridiculousness from you guys. Never change, never stop.

Speaker 1 (01:10:25):
This week, unfortunately the stories required it. I can't fault
them too much for that. Fine fine Alex. Last week
you gotta laugh. The week before, you gotta laugh two
in a row. Well you get the hat trick that tonight.

Speaker 4 (01:10:42):
Ooh, I don't know, okay, okay, okay, okay, I got one.

Speaker 2 (01:10:51):
I got one. I got one.

Speaker 4 (01:10:51):
Okay, so a sweater I bought was picking up static electricity.

Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
So I returned it to the store. They gave me
another one. I'm free of charge.

Speaker 3 (01:11:02):
That's a hard Honestly, it was pacent.

Speaker 5 (01:11:06):
It was yeah okay.

Speaker 1 (01:11:08):
And had good delivery too, like you actually told it
in story fashion, so you know what, well done?

Speaker 5 (01:11:13):
Yes, whoever's the one sick a fan fan we have
who is doing a tally of this? You can add
one to Alexis.

Speaker 1 (01:11:20):
Yes, well, that's three in a row. So she completed
the hat trick. That's three in a row. I don't
know what the record is for her, but we could
just say that's the record.

Speaker 5 (01:11:29):
Now, can we get a bonus dad from my daddy?
My dad's dad jokes are dirty, man, I don't know
if we can say it. I'm on podcast.

Speaker 1 (01:11:37):
Please don't get us canceled this. This podcast already had
some some stuff I'm worried about.

Speaker 3 (01:11:43):
But whatever, we'll figure that out. Fun.

Speaker 2 (01:11:45):
We gotta balance it out.

Speaker 1 (01:11:47):
Also, for Rohan's birthday, I heard a dad joke and
I will tell it with Alex's permission. Alex, I have
the permission to tell one dad joke. Absolutely, Oh my god, Okay,
let's see if I get either of you. This is
not on Alex's record, This is online. Did you hear
about the duck that got arrested? He was caught selling quack.

Speaker 5 (01:12:08):
That sucks. That sucks.

Speaker 1 (01:12:11):
Laugh, that's hard, laugh everybody. Alex is even that one.
Thank you if you're if also, if you're like me,
you imagine a little duck with a trench coat and
he opens it with little quack baggies on the street.

Speaker 5 (01:12:26):
Yeah, oh no, I imagine he's like, imagine he's got
like sagging pants. And if he's in like a little
easy like we want his cars that goes like up
and down, up and down, up and down.

Speaker 1 (01:12:39):
All right, here comes the food. Alex's choke was better,
That's fine. Oh her joke might have been better. I'm
just saying I got a laugh. I got what I wanted.

Speaker 4 (01:12:47):
So guys like, damn it, you know how we've then
I stand by this. If it's a terrible dad joke
and it's awful like yours, was that still counts as
a great dad joke if it's well, yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:13:00):
Like dad jokes are kind of like is so bad,
it's good. It's the room of comedy.

Speaker 3 (01:13:07):
Was he selling it?

Speaker 1 (01:13:08):
To the man running the stand, oh the lemonade stand
at Yes, Alex, do you know what that's referring to?

Speaker 2 (01:13:16):
I do not.

Speaker 1 (01:13:16):
Okay, we're gonna have it. We're gonna send you something
after stream.

Speaker 2 (01:13:20):
No, no, no.

Speaker 5 (01:13:21):
No, no.

Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
This is innocent. This is a good one. My wife
showed me this years ago. It's something pre approved. Okay,
you the man stand. It's a it's a little fun
like two thousand and seven. Okay, innocent, innocent Okay, yes,
selling quack tomatoes, pizza, fridge fries, tomatoes. Thank you for

(01:13:42):
not shelling selling too much. So mu's to throwing T
shirts my wife. My wife just chived in, got me grapes.
That's from the thing. Don't worry, Alex, it's fun. I
promise it's innocent.

Speaker 5 (01:13:53):
Hurt.

Speaker 2 (01:13:53):
I'm okay to not know this one.

Speaker 3 (01:13:55):
Okay, Okay, that's fine. Oh, Alex is uncultured, sured.

Speaker 4 (01:14:01):
Yes, I'm so sorry. I'm missing out on this deep
an important culture.

Speaker 1 (01:14:06):
To be avid, I knew about it, to be fair,
I didn't know until like twenty nineteen, so it's been
so I was late to the game as well. So
thank you all. We will have more Duck updates for
you next week, along with some pop potential music news,
but definitely duck updates. Thank you so much, have a
