Speaker 1 (00:12):
Well tiled back to the podcast That Rocks weekly podcast
that talks about news of the world of rock, metal,
alternative and everything in between. Happy Halloween Week. My name
is Luke, my name is Alex, and my name is Rowan.
We are dressed the best we can for the holiday season.
Thank you so much for tuning in. I will not
do a Canadian impression. You might get some other impressions
(00:33):
on stream, though, considering what our costumes are. Thank you
so much for tuning in. Fifty lights will play festival
rocker flop. I would have loved to play spooky music,
Halloween metal music, horror music, something even fun like the
old horror stuff, the old Halloween stuff. YouTube would have
a fit, So enjoy us. Dressed up, I'm Wolverine Alex,
(00:56):
introduce yourself, now you who you are for the audio crowd,
and then Rowan Alex.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
I am Nadja of Antipaxos.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Very nice and Rowan, it was so your boyfred Durst
from Limp Biscuits.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
See he doesn't laugh while he doesn't get the giggles
when he says it. That's the problem. Oh but somebody
already called this that is Rowan fred Durst. Yeah, yes,
you got that. I cannot have the clause on the
whole time. There's no way because I cannot work like this,
so you can't type like that like this now you Yeah,
(01:31):
I get Scott Summer's you stupid jerk. Yes, thank you
so much. It was not a huge news breaking cyclic week,
as it's hallow week week, though we wanted to talk
about some fun things in the world of rock and metal.
This is probably the best week to do it, and
I wanted to talk about some fun things. So before
(01:52):
we get to that, I have one small bit of
information that passed off, and this is radio information. I
don't know Alex. You might be aware of Rowan. You
may not, though, because you're a Northeast WMMR legend in Philadelphia.
They're long time DJ. Passed away Pierre Roberts at seventy.
That is a bummer, and I am not sharing my
(02:13):
screen with you. I need to share my screen. I apologize.
See I'm getting I'm the Wolverine costume got me too excited.
Now I don't know what to do. Bam bam. Pierre
Robert passed away. He was founded at his home at
age seventy. For those who are not aware. Pierre was
a beyond a staple in Philadelphia for rock radio, for
(02:34):
a station that's been around as long as our parents
have been alive, and he's been on the air for
that long just about as well. So that is a
big loss for radio. I wanted to start just by
saying our thoughts go out to everyone at the WMR team,
everyone in Philadelphia except for the sports fans, all of
you people really do have a lot going for you
with the legend that was Pierre, and I do hope
(02:56):
that a good tribute is made for him because you
contributed so much. Alex Dropto, there she is.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
I don't I don't know what happened.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
You're okay? The little Discord noises by the way, go
burn Burrow.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
Yeah, they're all Halloween theme now.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
She's Discord a shred of professionalism. As we sit at
our Halloween As I say, as we sit here at
our Halloween costume.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
You're getting into the spooky season two, it's just so off.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
It's just so we're just like, what the world is, Discord,
that's my reaction to the job.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
Well, if it's spooking you, it's doing its job.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
It's not really spooky. It's just confusing me. That's not scary.
It's just ratting you.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
Off though, which is like what horror wants you to do.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
I guess it's a stretch, but I guess as they
keep a discord, keep it for Christmas, who cares?
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Well, Yeah, I can sign on on that.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Okay, it's gonna be like it's gonna be like holiday
bells are selling for Christmas.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
It might be now that's like the ho hos and
jingle bells. We don't know.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
It's just like more Carries song just starts playing anytime
anyone joins all.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
I mean, we have new Christmas songs coming up. We
got Taylor Momson's Christmas stuff. We have a chance of
getting something new. Just to sprinkle it in. Yeah, so
just sprinkle it in. We are not ready for Christmas yet,
we're ready for Halloween. There are many an article on
many a website talking about the scariest bands of all time,
(04:21):
the best horror bands of all time, top ten horror
all this stuff. So we're not going to go through
every list because again there's so many over the years,
but we do want to talk about the bands that
are the best and chat. This is one where I
do want to hear your thoughts, Dear Wolverine. How do
you type with your claws out? I don't. It's a pain.
They have to buy me like an a hole on
(04:43):
my own keyboard. It's nuts.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
So oh, I thought you had like a I thought
you just hire a guy who just kind of transcribes
everything you type you once said or typed out.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Wolverine swears too much, and they never last in the
X mansion, so they have to keep firing. So we'll
start off just with this basic one. If we're gonna
go comedy and we're gonna go aliens and we're gonna
go blood and guts, let's just stick with war. That's
a great one, right.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
How can you go wrong with a B movie? Was
a metal band?
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Yes, sometimes C movie like not even B movie theatrical
release like straight to video.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
You know that's how the band started, right, Yes.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
In Richmond, Virginia.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Yeah, they had like a I'm sorry, go ahead.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
I was gonna say they started in Rismond, Virginia and
all the other stuff, like the old videos they have too, Rispont, Virginia,
Space Freaks, war Boy. That is a great way to
describe them by the way, go ahead. If you want
to talk about the intro story, go ahead, Like how
all the stuff?
Speaker 4 (05:42):
Yeah, yeah, No.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
From what I remember, the guys, the actual musicians in
Guar were in like a bunch of their own bands,
and I think I remember correctly, some of the guys
who were behind the more creative elements of War were
shooting a low budget movie called scum Dogs of the Universe,
and they had all the costs. They had like all
like all these like paper mache or cardboard like sort
(06:04):
of like props and all that stuff. And then I think,
if I remember correctly, the band took a bunch of
them wore them on like one of their shows, and
it was like really well received. So it's just like
you want to just put this together. I might be
getting some details wrong. I read this story a long
time ago, but it was like something along those lines
where it started out as just a bunch of like
film students just making a stupid sci fi movie, and
(06:26):
that kind of just became the basis for Kwar, which
I mean, like that's just kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
It is very cool since nineteen eighty four Gores, but
around a lot longer, the people realize.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Very unique concept too.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Alex, I know you seeing war any fond memories of
seeing war live? Oh?
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Just so much cough syrup, so much, yes, all over.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Cough syrup, cherry and vanilla flavored by the way.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Yes, yes, the vanilla yep yep h.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
And that's at other stuff as well. I got to
shoot them at the amphitheater I was working for, like,
I got hired out to shoot them with the Lamba
God Show. Did I tell that story yet for coor.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Remember?
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Okay, so this was less horror and more shock, which
that's war. But they kill celebrities and famous figures. So
first they unlive Donald Trump, then they unlived Elon Musk,
then they unlived Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift was a pregnant
twet Taylor Swift with a Travis Kelcey Jersey who walked
(07:33):
up on stage and goes, I don't know, blowthar the
singer blowthar. I just got back from the clinic. And
this says, yeah, baby, you gotta take care of it.
That's the whole bit. And then they had an unliving
on stage.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
Yes speakert love child, yes right.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
That is correct, Yes, a gore love baby with Taylor
Swift so that's core on the more horror side, you
know all that.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
I know they do comics because I have a coup
do I say, if they do another one, I want
that to be a plot point. That'd be hilarious.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
The whole are yeah, all of it.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
The last one, the last series I know they did
the one from twenty seventeen. I remember like in the
end of that series they they were going through time travel,
that was the concept. But then they killed Kurt Cobain
and then staged his death, so then everyone thought, what
happened to him?
Speaker 4 (08:22):
Is what happened to him?
Speaker 1 (08:24):
You could honestly tell me anything and then say gar
and it's like, okay, I believe it. Yeah. Yeah. Thoughts
on the Misfits falling into this category because when you
go back to the original Misfits, this was something different
and unique for horror.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
Well, I mean, like they were they were kind of
the first to really embrace the horror element. I know,
Black Sabbath and munch of other bands kind of like
went into the occult imagery, but like Misfits themselves, they
were they were directly referencing all these like all these
like old sci fi horror movies with their music. Even
the logo we all know is from the Crimson Ghost
is really old movie from these and I mean like
(09:02):
they don't shy away from it. I feel like I
feel like they were just kind of one of the
first bands to really embrace horror as part of their identity.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
Really, that's what would Alex.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Have you ever seen them? Definitely Rowan, Have you ever
seen I have either? Have you seen the Misfits?
Speaker 4 (09:17):
I saw them.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
I saw one of their first reunion shows back at
the Predential Center.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Alex saw Danzig.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
I saw dancing solo that could be a horror story
in itself, depending how far along. Yeah, I do remember too.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
I do remember too.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Like at my show it was in May, but like
when we got there, they had all these like Halloween
esque backdrops. They had like pumpkins, they had Castle's skulls,
the whole thing. They all had their corpse paint on. Yeah,
very cool. I think that's fits. I mean, there's a
lot going back in time. I do want to go
all the way down to one that I've talked about before.
One of the newer bands newer is Creeper because they've
(09:53):
got full who with a lot of their stuff now
Their new album that's coming out is full into the
horror cheese side of it, vampires, dancing, eighties tropes, the
gothic stuff. They've totally shifted into that. And they were
the goth punk or punk side of that with their
first album, but now they're like going to meat loaf
levels of storytelling.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Like bombastic. Oh it's this like over the overly dramatic
type stuff and it works. So if you're looking for
something newer, Creeper is a good one for that. So
talk about it. We consider go ahead good either one
of you.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Would we consider eisnin Kills?
Speaker 3 (10:30):
Yes, horror man, I would say.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Now now, yes, yeah, I mean they didn't start out
that way, but yes they definitely are now. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (10:40):
The first album it was all based on books. But
once we got the Silver Scream, hell yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Yeah. I think they realized too once they did that,
because they've been around for quite a while up until
that points and like never caught onto that popularity. Then
when they did it, it just beyond took off.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
So yeah, the Silver Scream really sent them, and they
even poke fun at that themselves. They're like, oh, the
Silver Scream, how about you know that little anolog bit
they did definitely helped.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Them stand out from the rest of the pack.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Yeah, I think they still and they still relished it.
They just did like the Joker thing for the music video.
But still they relish in horror, and I like that
they branch out outside of movies too. They go to
TV and then they go to video game horror stuff,
like with Resident Evil. So they're the band to find
it good.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
I was gonna be honest, I thought, like with the
Matrix song they did a couple months back, I wondered
if they were going to go into like a full
sci fi action route, you know, like that would be
like the next phase. And I mean like at the
Joker you got like more comic book stuff, you know,
so oh maybe it's just like more action oriented. Maybe
we'll have like a superhero thing going on. Could be
that'd be kind of cool. Where would you say, guys good,
(11:47):
Where would you guys like say, ghost is in this discussion?
Would they be part of it? I feel like if
we're putting in Creeper, I feel.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Like, yeah, I would say, you know, I feel like
the War alone. I mean they on a live each
singer for every album cycle. Technically, maybe not unlive anymore.
But they have so much core and undead like occult
type stuff, I would say, yes.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Yeah, it's more of like story itself.
Speaker 5 (12:13):
They don't sing about ghosts and goblins and ghouls or anything,
but they definitely fit the storyline, and their own storyline
could be kind of horror, and the look obviously totally fits.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
I remember their music video for Pinnacle to the Pit.
I think if I remember that was like a homage
to like very old silent film horror movies, with like
their cinematography and all that stuff. And I don't know,
I just feel like it's really cool. Like their music
videos are always like kind of like that sort of
like campy, sort of like spooky like aesthetic really, especially
(12:44):
with like a skeleton, but like rel.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
They reliship making it fun, not just scary or horrifying
for the sake of being edgy and grotesque. There are
a lot of bands who do that great, but This
Ghost is not one of those bands. But I would
still say horror, you know. I mean, okay, let's put
it this way. Would a the typical Presbyterian conservative mom
in Kansas be terrified by some of these images? Yes? Well,
(13:10):
then guess what they fit well.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
I feel like you could put any metal band in
front of the Presbyterian Kansas mom and she would freak out. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
See some of them look clean, pretty cleaned up now,
you know. Yeah, like you look at death, you look
at death Heaven. They look like normal people, are you get?
Speaker 3 (13:29):
I don't know they look like but as soon as
you play Sunbather for hers to it, you don't care.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
We're talking about aesthetic.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
So this was a band that people keep popping up
every now and then. Like, I get the argument, but
I guess I never really put it was a FI
and I'm like, dress they dress up, Yes, but I
just never thought of that much association with horror. Maybe
that's a me thing. Chat let me know. Someone said
Kansas mentioned. Yes, we're aware that the state exists. I've
(14:02):
driven through it several times.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
I'm seeing.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
In their paragraph and I feel like Mike Kim would
be more fitting than a FI. No offense a FI,
but like at least like at least Mike Kim like
goes further into the more gothic aesthetic.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Yes, really it seems dark. Yeah, I get, I get
what you're saying. It seems darker in theme Okay, and now,
because I'm assuming my wife is listening, we have to
talk about power Wolf because you know what it's really
is that great. This is the perfect blend. Uh definitely
sings about horror trope, zombies, wolves, the occult things like that, Uh,
(14:40):
crooked priests and like demonology and stuff.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
But I'm saying the songs already. Demons are girls best.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
That's the best.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
That is the biggest blood.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Demons are a girl's best thing, are their biggest one.
I would play it right now if this podcast would
not get shut down instantly. That's our favorite. Gretchen of Minds.
That was her first song of it. Okay, it's power metal,
but it's intentionally can't be in fun with it. This
is a band made of a cult of were wolves
that sacrifice to stay alive to sing through metal and
(15:09):
their religion which is also metal. It in no means
it's supposed to be that dark. This is something you
could easily take the kids to and they would have
fun with it. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Also, by the way, look I'm looking in the chat
and I cannot believe we'd brush past them.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie, those.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
Guys, I was saying that Yeah, we're getting to the sure.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
Yeah, so we'll go into order those I wanted we
got the bands first. I would it like we obviously
got to have the big swingers, though Alice Cooper still
doing good. I would be amiss if I did not
ask Alex about Alice Cooper first, because I could fear
for my safety.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
I don't understand, well, you.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Trust as Alice Cooper for Halloween one year?
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Correct? Oh yes I did. I did it.
Speaker 5 (15:58):
I get what you're saying. Okay, because Alice awesome. So
Alice Cooper total total, total horror rock metal icon. We
know that he basically like paved the way for what
we know as shock rock.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
Yes, I would.
Speaker 5 (16:11):
Say I think Alice Cooper was pre Kiss or I
think I remember watching a documentary and Kiss were like,
you know, what is Alice Cooper doing? This is crazy?
I can't believe he's doing this on stage. He's you know,
got all of this stuff. He's got the guillotine, he's
got all of these different props, and he's got like,
you know, just the crazy Alice Cooper stuff he had
(16:33):
early in the seventies, and they're like, what if we
were for Alice Cooper's so Alice Cooper birthed Kiss and
then an entire slew of horror bands, like bands that
are not afraid to go crazy on stage and do
all of this crazy fun stuff with the pyro and
the Alice Cooper is a badass and wild.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
What's What's wild? Alice Cooper outlived most of those bands
careers and is still going.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
You're reminded me of this, But like my first when
I first started working for my old boss, Mark Wise,
it was Halloween when I first started working with him,
we had a gallery show and he was doing like
this big like this like live stream too, just to
kind of like promote it and promote his new book.
And I remember too, he dressed up as Alice Cooper
because he's like really good friends of me. I even
(17:18):
have like a picture right here. Yeah, I don't know.
There you go right there, eighteen year old me with
like Paul Stanley, nice kiss makeup on.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Very nice. Okay, I have a quick Alice Cooper store
that does not really have to do with Alice Cooper,
but still I saw him either last year, two years ago,
all that robs Ambie Alice Cooper Totor. It was a
lot of fun. He still does the guillotine stuff, all
the stuff on stage. It's a blast anyway. Eighth grade.
But years before I was really into anything Alice Cooper.
Check it out. I was like, so I was thirteen
or fourteen, and our health teacher who loved to lecture
(17:52):
and go off on tangents and do like the condescending
he knows everything about everything, even though he's supposed to
be teaching about health. But it would rarely ever do
it that type of teacher anyway. He goes, well, you
have all these bands in sixties and seventies, kiss who
has all this deamonic stuff, and they look like that
they take the makeup off after every night. It's just
a gimmick. But Alice Cooper, he goes to bed every
(18:14):
night trying to think of how he become darker and
more evil. Of like I remember looking at my friend
and go like like in the back of class and going,
I don't think that's right.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
So that's a bone to pick with Alice Cooper apparently.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
So yeah, yeah, I just imagine Alice is like the
way the Waynes World movie portrays him, like after the show, well,
fun facts about Milwaukee.
Speaker 5 (18:40):
Dude, he's a totally mellow guy, Like he's super super chill,
he's super like down to earth. He's his real name
is Vincent, so like some of his friends still call
him Vinnie and they're like, Alice Cooper is the character
and people don't.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Get that, like with a lot of this stuff, it's
a shtick.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
And I love talking about a sobriety story. Had did
you ever hear about a sobric how he got sober?
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Tell me? Tell me this story.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
This isn't an older video. This is great though, because
he's so hand in hand with his wife who helps
with the live stuff and does so much of the
creativity side of it. When he was real drugged up
and like big on the alcohol too, like he had
a bad hangover, it was like after like just almost
almost potential od. She pretty much smacked around like listen here, moron,
you're gonna die unless you get it together. Do you
(19:23):
want to go to rehab or a graveyard or jail?
Knock it off? And he's like pretty much went yes, ma'am,
And that's pretty much the starting point of how he
got sober. Nice love that, n Yeah, sometimes she's got
to get smacked around a little.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Yeah, that's what it takes.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
So we then go to the other side of it,
who not only sings about all the horror, he made
movies about all the horror.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
He definitely is a fan of horror.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
At the very least.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
He still is. He's older than everyone realizes too. I
just realized he turned sixty this year. Not that old, no,
but so I think he's older than people realize.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
You know, he celebrated that birthday. I was like, hey,
happy birthday, dude. It was in like January.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
M Yeah, good memory of January twelfth, nineteen sixty five.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Yay, I have brains I can use. I love Rob Zombie.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
I am super I've always been a really big Rob
Zombie fan, and a lot of friends are like why
you know. It's one of those bands where it's like,
why are you such a big fan of this guy?
It's just fun. It is so fun. You go see
Rob Zombie live. It's a fun time and he's singing about,
you know, just crazy stuff. He's living dead girls and dragulas.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
It's like, this is a song about the munsters. What
are you talking about? This is so fun.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
He's dancing with tossels on stage.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Come on, I also too. It's like I kind of
like his movies too.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
I wasn't a big fan of the Halloween movies that
he did love the I love the House of a
Thousand Corpses, like trilogy, I love the Firefly Family. They're like, yeah,
it's gory, it's crazy, but I mean like they're the
type of movies you go when not taking seriously and
when you just kind of like run with it. It's
it's still gruesome at times, but it's it can be
(21:07):
really like it's it's silly gruesome. Does that make sense?
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Yes? Like you has used to really like good good.
Speaker 5 (21:14):
I was just gonna say those were some of my
favorite horror movies when they first came out. I mean
they're still really good, like Devil's Rejects and House of
a Thousand Corpses top tier, but when they first came out,
it was super cool. And my favorite part has always
been the soundtracks, which is it makes sense because not
only is he a musician but Rejects. Yeah, those soundtracks
(21:36):
are just like the feeling and the vibe and just
how it grooves and it's on beat the whole movie.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
I love that.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
I love it when you do good scores honestly, like
the fact that you mentioned it. Like at the end
of The Devil's Rejects when they're approaching the police barricade
and they decided to go in a blaze of glory
and Free Bird starts playing. In my opinion, that is
probably the best use of a song in any movie ever.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
I can't hear that song and not picture that entire
ending And I'm like, Dan.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Do damnd patriotic about it because it is like a
fight the cops to Free Bird type movie.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Yeah, and they're all loading up their guns and all
that stuff. Yeah. Yeah. I also remember too in the
in the opening of that movie too, when they're when
they raid the Firefly sit like uh, like a state
they got a oh my god, the olemen person, uh
the Midnight Writer. They're playing the Midnight Writer to the
credits and while they're arresting everybody and they're and you're
just like you have the police going through like this
(22:37):
house of horrors, and it was awesome.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
The soundtracks are fantastic.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Yes, that's always a that's always a staple. And again,
his movie career has been hit and miss, even if
some of his albums have not always hit as hard,
but he's always been consistent in something to check out,
meaning you always want to see what he does next
or hear what he does next. So that's what I've
always appreciated about Rob Zombie.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
I just love that he is.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
He's such a weird guy, like naturally, he was raised
like he and Spider one of power Man five thousand,
their brothers. I don't know everybody knows that's fun more.
But they grew up in like carnival circuits, Like their
parents worked in carnivals, so they were always exposed to
like all of these different crazy, wild people, And it's
like that makes sense when you learn their upbringing, It's like, oh,
(23:26):
I get it. And I think it's just so cool
that he takes all of that creativity and all that
weird stuff that he's seen and that he was obsessed with,
and that he is probably kind of afraid of. I
remember an interview where he was like, I really hate clowns.
I'm afraid of clowns. He's just leaning interesting, getting so fun.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Yeah, interesting choices he made for some of those movies.
But you know what good for him, It's it's the
Batman principle. I have to be what I'm most afraid of.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
And also in this discussion, I kind of also like
to think that we should make a mention just like
times when bands are trying to use their music videos
to make pretty much like little horror movies. I don't know,
stuff like old Tool music videos where they're doing the
stop motion stuff. Those are always like very those those
heavily go into just like disturbing you with like with
(24:14):
like imagery, or even like even old Marilyn Manson music
videos too, when you watch like Sweet Dreams and you
just have no idea what the hell is going on?
Speaker 4 (24:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
I feel like then those in itself are just trying
to be like their own little mini movies. Actually, you know,
even going back to the Misfits, I remember during the
Michael Graves era, they did a they did a music
video where they got uh, George Romero to direct their
music video for Scream, and it's like the band as
zombies and they're chasing people around the hospital.
Speaker 4 (24:42):
It was so sick. Yeah, there it is.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
I just posted, yeah, the George Romero one, like I
just posted too, Like there's a lot years ago, in
twenty nineteen, I made a video for Halloween Weekend. Ten
horror music videos in Rock. I try to share it
out every year because this is one of the most
fun videos I've ever made. I dressed up as a
pro wrestler who did tons of horror stuff called Bray.
He was the Fiend. He was filled with the horror stuff,
and I dressed up. Then in twenty nineteen, a month
(25:06):
later it got taken down because some of the music
videos at Blood, so I re uploaded in black and
white in twenty twenty and that was fine. Yeah, exactly.
So Anyway, one cool thing I remember, and this is
one that gets overlooked body counts because all the members
are named after horror, like Vincent Price and stuff. They're
all named after horror. Their music videos get scary sometimes,
(25:26):
like sol level violence, so they do a lot of
that stuff too. And then you have the Misfits. You
have Helloween, which that's just the classic right there as well.
This is the Misfits. Also, I had to censor a
lot of it, like I had to get creative with
some of the censoring for Blood. But even when Danzick
was out of the band, they still stuck with the
horror stuff. Yeah, they knew what was going on. Then
(25:49):
he gets Chelsea Wolf, who is not horror but met
she's like horror adjacent. No, yeah, definitely, where's a good
photo over there? We go, there's Chelsea Wolf.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
I'm thinking of like the music video for blood Moon
that she didn't converge. Yeah yeah, yeah, not just the
album too, Like the music video for the title track.
I remember she's like transforming into a demon or something
like that while they like performed a forest.
Speaker 4 (26:12):
Yeah there's yeah Brent too.
Speaker 5 (26:17):
That nobody really knows because they were only they only
released well, they recently released an album, but it wasn't
their best work. But in twenty sixteen, The Hackson's released
Party Monsters, and it is a fantastic album. It's like
all super fun, dancy Halloween music and it's Piggy d
Or Matt Montgomery former basis for Rob Zombie and.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Mash Costello. Okay from me, I do remember that project.
I did not hear it, but I do remember it.
It is so good.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
I had to buy it on vinyl when it came out.
That first album, Party Monsters, came out in twenty sixteen,
and it has been a staple on my Halloween playlist
since the full album front to back is just perfect.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
See that's the on side project. Whether it goes that
far or not, that's the type of stuff that could
be funny. You should do, you.
Speaker 5 (27:04):
Know more people well, And they did a couple of covers,
like they covered a Cemetery by the Ramones and it's
an awesome cover, very slow down, mellow version of it.
They did Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult and it sounds amazing.
And then a couple other little singles here and there.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
But I like the actions. Check them out for Halloween.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
Even when bands do even when bands just do soundtracks
for horror movies, that's always cool. This is if we're
talking crappy B movies. If you guys know Maximum Overdrive,
it's this really crappy.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Seeming came, I know what you talk about with Amelias Yes, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:36):
Yeah yeah, So Chad, this is a movie where technology
come becomes sentient and like pretty much everything from like cars, fridges,
anything else, and they all just try to kill you.
And it's a very stupid freaking movie. Gihan Carl Esposito
is in it, not kidding, And the craziest thing about
(27:57):
it is that ac DC did the whole soundtrack for
the whole movie.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
It kind of makes it more fun, to be honest,
it does make it does work pretty well because there's
so many cars in the movie.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
And do you want do you want to know a
fun fact too?
Speaker 1 (28:10):
Sure?
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Stephen King in the script like wrote out a C
d C song playing here, And for anyone who does
not in the film industry, that's not something you ever do.
You never like unless it's a song that you are
gonna that you're ready to fight tooth and nail to
get into your movie. Like scriptwriters never like specify songs
(28:31):
because it's like it is a it is a copyright
nightmare to get like the licenses for that.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Stephen King giggs what he wants. I think that's fair.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
Also during the Coke earo, Stephen King, yes, correct too.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Also one thing we were talking about bands and try
to do a horror music video well and with this
one because we have so much other stuff to cover.
There's one other Halloween based story I want to cover
really quick, one of my favorite ones that really was
meant for Core ORR Creed with what If, and they
had the licensing because they did the entire soundtrack, like
(29:06):
making putting together the soundtrack for Scream three, and they
had all the actors in it, and they composed every
song and got all diskuies for the soundtrack. It had
everything from slip knotting System of a Down all the
way to Creed. And the music video is ghost Face
chasing after the girls and the members of Creed. It's
as cheesy as you think it is, so always remember good.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
Goda, be honest.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
If like, if it's just one guy going against Creed,
I mean like I can understand like two girls running away,
but like a whole band of guys against like just
like one dude in a mask. I mean like I'd
be like broke, just turn around, just kick his ass.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
See to be fair, they've he picked him off one
at a time, which is interesting. And it was always
like all the girls were about to make out with
each member of the band except Mark Tremonti, who was
just by himself shooting hoops in the back. They all live.
Technically it was all a prank and they're all like
a you got us that type of thing. But it's
like Mark Tremonti deserves better than just to have to
(30:05):
be back by himself playing basketball.
Speaker 3 (30:07):
Well, No. I was about to say, maybe Mark Tremonti
would be the only one who survives, because it's like,
I mean, we're talking about Scream here. I just rewatched
stream not too long ago. There's like the whole there's
the whole scene where the guy talks about the rules.
It's like, oh, you don't you don't kiss, you don't
have sex, you don't do drugs. It's like, imagine Mark
Tramonti the only guy just chilling playing basketball. He's the
one who survives just because of like he wasn't sinning
(30:29):
or whatever.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
That's exactly what I was gonna say. Mark Tremonti is
the only one who knew the rules.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
He's too whole exactly.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:35):
God, no, he's faking it so he doesn't die. He
knows the rule.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
Okay, Well, shifting over to another topic right now, Loudwire
put up a fun little article rockers and their favorite
horror movies were to go do this somewhat quick, but
I thought this was interesting to go through. So here's
the list. We got. Slash his favorite horror movie, The Omen,
good choice. Jacoby Shaddicks A Papa Roach his favorite An
(31:04):
American werewolf in London, Rob Zombie. He's talked about this before. Frankenstein,
the old old one from nineteen thirty one. Then we
go to Corey Taylor and Chris Motionalists who said the
same thing. Halloween, the original Good Choices Spencer chartis the
(31:27):
original Nightmare on Elm Street, which great concept. Geez, I
don't care what anyone thinks.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
Geez, I'm gonna fight you on that. The first movie
is scary, but the rest of them I can understand. Actually,
Dream Warriors is like that perfect amount.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
Of Dream Warriors is fun though. Dream Warriors with the
dock in and stuff like that, that's at least fun.
But man, would you see Freddy Krueger chasing like this? Ah,
that's the opening of the movie. That's not scary, it's hilarious.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Yeah, but.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
Hadn't seen it before?
Speaker 4 (32:00):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
You have like you have the girl going up to
the TV arms come out of it. Yeah, he just
figure around like well in the prime time boom.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
Yeah. Oh and Johnny Depp dying in his own like
blender bed. Yeah, those great moments.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
Yeah, shoots up from his bed.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
I'm just saying, there's so much cheese cornball stuff of
the music. Movie also I will never get over.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
There totally is.
Speaker 5 (32:22):
Yeah, but you watched it now, watching it for the
first time in the eighties, those people.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
Thought that, holy hell, this is really happening. I can't
say that again.
Speaker 3 (32:30):
And during the time of like during the time of
like Slasher movies, where the threat was big guy with knife,
Freddy Krueger at least poses the biggest threat out of
all of them. It's not just running away from him.
It's not falling asleep.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
No, I love the concept. That's what I would have
made sure. I want to make it sure it's clear.
I love the concept. But I also love the idea
of everyone in nineteen eighty four not knowing that movies
weren't real, like everything's a documentary when they go to
the theaters, like this is really happening on a place
called Nightmare on Elm Street, Oh no.
Speaker 5 (32:58):
And then everybody's afraid of Elm Street. Yes, all towns.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
Property values on the actual Elm Street just plummet.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
That's the real horror story, right America.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
Well, actually it's not a horror story, because if I
could that was the case, I would go back in time,
buy up all that property, and I would just sell
those houses back for millions of dollars in today's mark.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
For twenty bucks, maybe twenty bucks. You got a couple
of houses right there, easily.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
Yeah, exactly, because apparently in today's mark, today's society, a
crack shack puts me back three hundred thousand.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
Dollars if you want a roof.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
Yeah, yeah, it's like the most like it's most like.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
From holloween to housing prices in America.
Speaker 5 (33:41):
Honestly, housing prices in America are horror This is a horror.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
Fighting and like you're fighting against companies, not even people
that want to buy the property.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
This is a horror movie.
Speaker 5 (33:51):
But in real life, yes, like, oh, you want this
basic shack a million dollars million.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
But it doesn't even have three walls. You want four walls.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
Well, then you know, I've seen like house those things
with like graffiti on the walls. Inside there's like there's
weeds growing inside the house. And they still had the
audacity to charge me like two hundred thousand dollars just
because there's a lot of like acreage of land. I'm like,
you are out of your mind if you think anyone
(34:21):
who's going to pay for this. I don't know what
the hell like makes you justify that, but you're insane.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
There's a quick blip from OBS and Verizon. Are we
back on stream? You're good, You're good back, Okay. It
was just like a little internet blip that happened.
Speaker 4 (34:34):
Sorry about for the audience.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
Yeah, for the audience. It was not Discord, it was
not YouTube. It was Internet something. So either my internet
or it was YouTube itself. But like, I didn't lose
connection with everyone because I'm still only with your Discord,
so it couldn't have been my Internet now that I
think about it. Whatever, we're back. Wolverine welcomes you.
Speaker 6 (34:51):
Hi.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
He waves like this. I guess I can't because I
have to show the handle. Yeah, all right. Going back
to the list, Alice Cooper Surprisia or Suspiria excuse me,
surprise you excuse me? Nineteen seventy seven. Did not see
that one, Tobias Forge the Shining. It's a pretty solid choices.
(35:15):
Ryan Waste a municipal waste, Phantasm and the Wizard himself,
Ozzy the Exorcist, good choice. Dave Grohl the Witch or
the vivig As some people say it's the title. Very good,
(35:35):
good choices, I think these are good, solid choices all
across the board.
Speaker 4 (35:39):
Yeah, it's cool. We got a Robert Egger's movie. I
feel like he's amazing.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
You guys see Fatu from last year the new one.
Speaker 1 (35:44):
I did not. I heard great things, but I didn't
see it.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
Yeah, so good, it is so good.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
Good. Yeah. I remember my wife and I talked about
maybe seeing it because like she loves horror, but something
she can't deal with, like she hates zombies. And if
there's even a hint of animal death, not a chance,
which I'm like fine with me. I don't care.
Speaker 3 (36:01):
So I don't animals die. I mean like actually no, yeah,
there's this one guy. Now I'm not getting get it
into it.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
So other stuff going off, Luke, good question. I do
love The First Saw. That is like figuring out that
the guy was there the whole time in the chamber
and it was him, and like this sequence was out
of order. Was such like a refreshing way to look
at everything. So The First Saw and an underrated horror
(36:31):
movie that keeps getting lost in time based on Stephen
king a short story fourteen oh eight with John Cusack.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
Oh yeah, when he's in the evil that's like the Hotel.
It sounds like the Shining Yeah, but it's just like
this one single room in this hotel that is faunted
and it's a total mind sport.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
It's so good. It's so well done, Like if I
had an off it's suggested like for a new horror
movie that you haven't seen, like all the classics fourteen
oh eight from either two thousand and seven or two
thousand and eight. It's so good.
Speaker 4 (36:58):
Sam Jackson's in it.
Speaker 1 (36:59):
Yeah, Samuel Jackson said it too, so Alex Horror recommendations
with that one. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (37:06):
I love the classics, the classic classics starting with Dracula
and then Frankenstein. I love it through Creature from the
Black Lagoon. I can watch those over the Universal Clubs.
Speaker 1 (37:16):
Yeah, I got you, Yeah Yeah, yeah, yeah, very cool. Rowan,
how about you?
Speaker 3 (37:21):
My all time favorite horror movie is definitely The Thing.
John Carpenter is the Thing. I mean, like, that's one
of the few eighties horrorves in my opinion, still holds
up today. I still like watch it every Halloween. I
still come across like people who have never watched it,
and like you sit down and watch it. It's like I
just get to see their reactions. To all like the
crazy stuff. It's awesome, but also like, I also love
(37:43):
watching a lot of like the fun campy stuff too.
Like everyone knows scream is like a good satire. But
if you guys want another good satire, there's this one
movie from twenty twelve, I want to say, called Tucker
and Dale versus the Forces of Evil.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
Said that chat yeah, yeah, no.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Yeah dude, if you know it's awesome, guys. Seriously, if
you love Screaming, you will love Tucker and Dale. Allen.
Speaker 1 (38:03):
It's the most bad it's the most bad luck situations
for some of those people in that movie.
Speaker 4 (38:07):
But yeah, no, it's.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
It plays with perception a lot, which is hilarious.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Also a lot of visual gags for horror comedy. Seanned
the deadis classic. I don't care what it was a
fun blast one. So also my wife chimed in. She said,
I was there, Like we watched Hereditary two years ago
and so many people loved it. She says she was underwhelmed,
like it. I liked it fine, but I at least
appreciate they try to do something different with Hereditary with
(38:34):
an ending like that, so that I appreciate. So any
other horror mentions that you want to get out. Now
is the time smile. I did not see someone recommended
that one teeth. I did not see the original Child's play.
All the Child's Play blues. Well, when it gets to
Bride of Chucky, they were having fun with it. That's
what I kind of appreciated more.
Speaker 5 (38:53):
Okay, would you bring Jennifer Hilly?
Speaker 2 (38:55):
I was you're good to go?
Speaker 1 (38:56):
Yeah, and it was John with her son. Child's play
took See. I'm like getting them confused a little bit,
but it's like what they got. I remember what I
saw Bride of Chucky. It's like, this is just fun.
It's meant to be. It should have been like this
in the first place. You know it was.
Speaker 3 (39:11):
It's like it's insanely stupid. Same with Seed of Chucky. Also,
if we're just talking like stupid fun horror movies, Reanimator
is also a lot of fun too. If you guys
know that one, I.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
Know it, never saw it. Yeah, Final Destination. Someone just mentioned, yeah,
that's why people three Yeah. See, I didn't see them all,
but like that's why people don't drive behind logger trucks,
which is probably smart.
Speaker 3 (39:34):
In the first place. Someone's raging the Mouth of Madison.
Is that the one with Sam Neil where he's like
trying to track down a writer but then like the
stuff from his books is like happening in real life.
I know the movie, I just can't remember if.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
That's the name.
Speaker 1 (39:47):
Samuel was also in Event Horizon, which was.
Speaker 3 (39:50):
Horror My god, how did I forget Intervent Horizon?
Speaker 1 (39:54):
That movie was so freaky, like people would go to
see a theaters and tell people don't see it.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
It's too much. So I saw like the uncensored, so I.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
Didn't see that back. I didn't even see the sense
of what I heard, like the uncensors, like thirty minutes
longer of footage in Hell of people getting tortured and stuff.
It's in sense like but you were you were doctor uh,
the doctor in Jurassic You're the nicest guy. What are
you doing? So?
Speaker 3 (40:18):
Oh yeah, we're talking like torture and Hell Hell Raiser
obviously too. Hell Raiser messed me up a little bit
too watching that because like especially when uh, especially when
her dad gets like uh strung up with the chains
and like everything all like facial muscles are being like
stretched out too, and Jesus wept, Oh my god, like,
(40:39):
you can't see that, see what. I don't watch the
new hell Razor movies.
Speaker 5 (40:45):
Have you had the most recent remake, Jamie Clayton stars
as hell Raiser, And I'm like, okay, maybe I couldn't
get into just the look of Pinhead.
Speaker 1 (40:54):
I'm like, I remember seeing that, I remember seeing still
images of it. It's like, okay, it seems like he's
like smoothed over, like more polished and presentable, which is
an odd take. You understand, Oh, okay.
Speaker 3 (41:06):
You understand too. Those movies, it's like the most basic,
like they're not Hell Raiser movies. They're like an entirely
separate thing. And then they throw Pinhead at the very
end and then say it's hell Raiser. It's so lazy.
Speaker 2 (41:18):
I hate those.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
I forgot a big one that I grew up with
that I love, love, love Poltergeist.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
Oh yeah, that's a good one.
Speaker 4 (41:25):
Okay, that's the that's the movie that scared me the
most when.
Speaker 1 (41:28):
I watch first watched It's it's such a great first
horror movie. Though, even if kids would break into it, yeah,
even when you're young, because I don't care about spoilers
at this point, this point, the movie's been allowed longer
than we've been alive. Yeah, exactly. It's a horror movie
where no one gets hurt. That's a big deal. So
that's why I say, if you ever want to start
(41:49):
with the horror movie, that's the one.
Speaker 4 (41:51):
All the imagery messed me up. The young clown guy
you had, like, yeah, that one guy.
Speaker 3 (41:56):
Whose face peeled off, Yes, you had like the pool Yeah.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
Someone said evil dead, yes, evil dead too. Yes. Okay,
I guess we should get back to the music discussion.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
Probably they overlap. It's kind of like the.
Speaker 1 (42:16):
Tang it like, yeah, gotta get a new cord. I
can't hear you, so don't talk about me poorly.
Speaker 5 (42:22):
So that guy Luke, come on, Okay, I know, I.
Speaker 1 (42:32):
Know, Okay, Yeah, I said, like Gretchen doesn't love jump scares,
you can't stand him? Yeah, I poled her geists jump
Scarce City, Oh I got yeah, So anyway from one
city to another best seg way I can think of.
But there will be horror bands there, now that I
think about it, of some type. These Sonic Temple line
up got announced arguably the biggest rock and metal festival
every every year. So I already shared this. Alex and
(42:55):
Rowan I did not ask their thoughts specifically. I want
to see what they think about this. I will give
my thoughts after because I already told them my thoughts
as well, but I did not ask theirs. So Alex,
put aside your disdain for Ohio, what do you think
of Sodic.
Speaker 5 (43:10):
Temple, Because that's confidence, it's kidding, it's not it's it's good.
I mean, you've got a lot of the heavy hitters.
You've got shined down, bring me the Horizon tool, godsmack,
I mean, Hailstorm, don't Temple, Pilots even breaking Benjamin, marilynd
Man's and Mega Death, like a lot of really big
names in the rock world, very recognizable names.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
I and I think.
Speaker 5 (43:32):
I'm in the minority big time. I think it's too much.
It's just too much shoved all into one because you
have so many of these outliers and like you know,
like I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
M I just counted really quick, thirty five on day one.
Speaker 2 (43:50):
It's a lot.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
It is a lot. That's what they go for now.
They want to jam back as much as possible, give
you no a lot.
Speaker 3 (43:57):
But at the same time, at least for me, I
can already kind of like picture where I would be
going for each days. First of all, too, I know
you use New York kind of say it with like
all these like big, big name bands, but I also
wanted to say too, it feels like it's cool that
I'm seeing a lot of other bands too that I
feel like don't get enough attention, and I feel like
(44:18):
it's just kind of cool that we're seeing them represented here,
Like cal Decapitation on Thursday. I mean, like they're awesome.
I'm it's awesome they're playing on the same like a
day as Mike Kim. I mean that would be a
huge tonal whiplash. Yeah. But then also too, especially like
Friday Friday's Death Corps lineup with Laura Shore and Koublikan.
Speaker 4 (44:37):
That is so awesome.
Speaker 3 (44:38):
You got pale faced Swiss Chelsea Grinn. Oh my god, Yes,
that's awesome. That's just really sick.
Speaker 1 (44:45):
So I'll say this about me one the like actual
like the metal metal stage on the very bottom where
they have a lot of some of these bands not
on everything, but still I love Sunday's metal stage with
Death Clock and Dragon Force Apocalyptica, something different that's not
always a DWP stuff my thoughts were, and I'll be
honest and be accountable. There are bands on here that
are awesome that I love, and there is also absolute trash,
(45:09):
so it's perfect for Ohio. That's my statement. I would go, yeah,
I will go to Yeah, I would go to this.
Do not get that twisted. I could ignore a lot
of bands that I can't stand Alex. Would you go
ooh yeah, Well I have to put everyone on the spot.
(45:30):
That's the whole thing of a live podcast. See, Like,
I'll just say.
Speaker 2 (45:32):
I think I would, Okay, Okay, it's farther away from you.
Speaker 5 (45:36):
Yeah, oh yeah, I would not if we're talking actual
like logistically, no, I would not travel all the way
from here to Ohio to see any of these bands
all at the same time, because again, for me, it's
a lot. Yes, someone meant it's overwhelming. It is overwhelming.
There are so many bands. You said thirty five. Let's
say there's thirty five every single day. Trying to map
out if you do want to see a bunch of
(45:56):
these names, and like, oh dang it, this is overlapping
with this and this and this, and then you've got
four days of that.
Speaker 3 (46:01):
That's just a lot.
Speaker 1 (46:02):
My argument also is it's not so much the bands
per day, it's the four day festivals that is so much.
I do wish you would go back tore like three
days max is still more than enough when you're going yeah, yeah, exactly,
and you're expecting that even if you want to do
three days as a max. I get it, like it's
not gonna be for everyone but a one time thing.
(46:24):
We're to go to four days though over half the week,
and that's not including travel. That is so much of
a commitment to do something like that, And also I'm
spending that much more of a commitment and on the
same day just gonna be stained hinder Bucksherry, simple plan,
I don't think so well.
Speaker 4 (46:42):
I'm going to the death course stage.
Speaker 1 (46:44):
That's fine.
Speaker 2 (46:47):
You could just like simmer this down, cut this in half,
make it two days and.
Speaker 5 (46:50):
Cut out some of this extra stuff here that we
don't need, and then hellyah, you might convince me to go.
Speaker 2 (46:56):
It's but for four.
Speaker 1 (46:57):
Days, no, for no matter what takes you get, whether
Joe admission or the Owner's club super expensive. You're also
paying for a hotel every day and travel and stuff.
That's what adds up in the four days two days
and three days. That's significantly cheaper no matter who you are.
So that's just a me thing, just like thinking of
like people coming and yeah, I can laugh haha, good
(47:17):
Charlotte ha ha, Blackveil Brides ha ha. You know, I
understand they have big audiences. I don't think buck Cherry
and Hinder do anymore. But still you get the jokes.
No more jokes. I would go to this because there
is enough for me to warrant the trip. That being said,
I'm not going to say this is me writhing on
the floor trying to figure out which of Ivan's toys
(47:40):
to sell on eBay just to make extra money. So
that's where I'm at.
Speaker 5 (47:48):
Yeah, this or two days, I would probably go, but
I'm not going somewhere.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
Yeah, I mean like I was, I was just kind
of like a I didn't really think about it until
just now, but I know, to thinking about it, it's like,
especially if you're not from Ohio, I mean, like traveling wise,
you're probably gonna have to take Wednesday too.
Speaker 4 (48:05):
You're eating a lot into just like the regular work week.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
Monday, easily Wednesday through Monday. That's why I would. I'd
want to see tool, you know. Yeah, like why when
that's a tough part to you on Sunday. Again, if
you're not native, Sunday is like when you guys starts planning.
Speaker 3 (48:19):
Okay, I got to get home.
Speaker 1 (48:21):
Right, and like you're not always in that mindset on Sunday,
especially after four full days. So yeah, I mean again,
some people are okay with that, And like if you
live in Pennsylvania, even like it's still driving distance, it's different,
you know that. I get.
Speaker 3 (48:36):
Yeah, I know, like New York, Ohio is like five
hours five six hours for me.
Speaker 4 (48:42):
I mean like, but I mean like that's a that's
a bit.
Speaker 1 (48:45):
So it's drivable, but it is a bit and like
still hotels and stuff. But again, ye's exactly like if
money was no object, Yeah, I would go.
Speaker 4 (48:53):
If my money and no other engagements or obligations.
Speaker 1 (48:56):
Was an object, Like if I got to work at
as a photographer and things like that, even if I
wasn't paid, but just like to work the venue like
as media and stuff, Yeah, I'd probably go. That being said, again,
I'm not gonna like backflip Live just because I'm so
excited about this one. I will say this seeing my
chemical romance ambring with the rise in his headliner's true
headliners were the biggest one.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
That is kind of cool, that is awesome. I will
say that for sure too.
Speaker 1 (49:21):
My wife wants to see my Chemical Romance live so
so badly. So, so let us hear your thoughts in
the comments. That means the main stage on Friday, see
Friday has decent stuff. I'm just saying I stained hinder
Buck Cherry on the same stage on the same day.
I don't know if I could be in the same vicinity.
Speaker 3 (49:41):
I would say, like I also do else to do
you wish I could see DGD on Sunday. I mean,
like I love their latest album Pantheon, and I would
love to get a chance to like hear some of
those live if they would if they were playing those
you know, I.
Speaker 1 (49:55):
Do love the Electric call Boy could be playing at
the same time as Megadeth. I don't know why. That
just took little bit.
Speaker 3 (50:01):
So, yeah, that's a fun thing about concerts. You kind
of like you kind of actually like learn. Okay, where
do I where do I lie?
Speaker 1 (50:07):
Yeah, so tickets are available, let us know if you're going,
let us know what you think. I do want to
know about the lineups and stuff too, So that being said,
we're gonna move on really quick because we have so
many stories and we spent way too much time talking
about horse. Want to go quickly. Faith No More fans,
I'm a fan. Do I get to see him live?
Not anytime soon. Rodney Bottom pretty much said, yeah, it's no,
(50:30):
it's not gonna happen anytime soon. No one's really communicating
about it ever since they're canceled twenty twenty one tour
at the very end, right after pandemic, like when things
were opening up and tours were actually starting again, that's
when Paton had a bit of a not a full breakdown.
He's like he just wasn't sure and feeling safe and
he wasn't in the right headspace to tour again, and
he just never picked up after that. That sucks, especially
(50:52):
for me, who had approval PhotoPass and was inviting to
the show to work it and get shoot it, and
now I can't.
Speaker 2 (51:00):
Sorry, maybe I'm being a.
Speaker 4 (51:02):
Little selfish a clause like point at yourself.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
Well, for Reid would be bad about this too.
Speaker 2 (51:08):
Yeah, maybe I'm being.
Speaker 1 (51:10):
Selfish, but I've never seen Faith No More live, And
that was the perfect example at a Killer venue in
Saint Louis and it never happened. So here's hoping twenty
twenty six, Roddy can nudge people in the right direction.
Is that fair? I don't think that's the quote. I
don't think anyone's sort of up for this point, just sadness.
(51:35):
But now we move on to good news in emotional
less in White Camp, we're getting a new emotional listen
White Alps sooner than later. I like that. That's good news, right,
it's been a while. I hope they would do something
with Cordon again.
Speaker 3 (51:50):
It was twenty twenty two that they last released music
right or at.
Speaker 1 (51:53):
The end of the word Score the end of the
world Score the other there with I can never get
the title right. I didn't hate it. It wasn't my
favorite they've done, but I yeah, but I love that
they worked with mc gordon on some of it is awesome.
Speaker 5 (52:04):
Yes, let's just hope spear Box doesn't release an album
at the same time.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
I see, remember what happened? Remember what I remember?
Speaker 1 (52:15):
There's bigger problems to have. I guess what's that they
called champagne problems in like the work field, It's like,
oh no, what all I do that? As?
Speaker 4 (52:25):
Oh no, I'm a encouragement.
Speaker 3 (52:29):
Yeah, there you go, there you go.
Speaker 2 (52:31):
You're welcome. It's going to be a better album because
of us.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
That's true. They clearly listen.
Speaker 4 (52:36):
Well, yes, yeah, weals.
Speaker 1 (52:39):
We want residuals for the Spear ideas, and since we
know that Rush should be playing there, I want my
cut and Wolverine's Canadian so you know what, I gotta
get loonies and tunies for that too. But speaking of
the Spear, that was a terrible segue. But I'm working
with what I got. Alex sent is this, it's Cuts
and Roses not to play the Spear anytime soon? Yeah, Like, okay,
(53:05):
were people clamoring for it? I don't. I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (53:11):
We talked about this last week. I just don't understand
the appeal of Guns and Roses live anymore.
Speaker 1 (53:17):
But the Sphere you could see all those images of
Axel Rose and three.
Speaker 3 (53:22):
I can you think of dozens of other bands I
would rather see at the Sphere before I see Guns
and Roses.
Speaker 1 (53:29):
Alex, any thoughts when you sent this article to us
going oh no, no Guns n' Roses in Vegas?
Speaker 2 (53:36):
Oh no, I laughed.
Speaker 5 (53:38):
I was like, oh, you guys are thinking about that,
like it's all cool. But I will totally agree with
Slash in what he said in this interview. He's like,
you know, it's not really like rock and roll friendly,
and in the way Slash meant it, I agree with
him because we you know, like you said, what are
we gonna do? Just look at Slash upon this big
(53:58):
giant screen the whole time.
Speaker 1 (54:00):
Like you could you get slashcam from his sunglasses. See
it's like the three D everywhere.
Speaker 3 (54:06):
I don't know, or just imagine, like Axel has another
like Tantrum and you see that on like the big
on the big screen.
Speaker 1 (54:13):
See you too. They have tons of visuals, Fish, tons
of visuals. They can do something like that Slash or
guns and roses. They're more on stage look at us
rock sing with us. So it's not he said.
Speaker 5 (54:26):
Yeah, the way he said it, he nailed it perfectly,
and I completely agree with him. He said, quote, but
I don't think it would be right for the environment.
I don't think it would be the right environment for
a proper rock and roll show.
Speaker 2 (54:37):
It wouldn't. You don't want to see any sort.
Speaker 5 (54:39):
Of like rock band just standing up their headbanging because
that sphere is for the visuals.
Speaker 2 (54:45):
You want that visual element.
Speaker 4 (54:46):
Taking advantage of it.
Speaker 5 (54:48):
Yeah, so yeah, And you don't really get that with
Guns and Roses show their performance show.
Speaker 2 (54:53):
They're a performance band. They're just up there to perform.
Speaker 1 (54:55):
Correct. You want to sing along with them, not watch
what messages they're going to do or what fun stuff. Also,
I just feel like Axel would get creepy with some
of the imagery they try to put on the big
screen sixty he would, he would not be able to
restrain himself, no way.
Speaker 5 (55:10):
We've heard about the new graphic novel and we've seen
the original artwork for Appetite for.
Speaker 1 (55:14):
Just the images of him being a side for.
Speaker 2 (55:18):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (55:19):
Imagine it's like imagine it's a spaghetti incident, but like
just all around you. That is one of the most
ugliest album government.
Speaker 1 (55:26):
I read the spaghetti's moving just a little bit to
make it a little bit.
Speaker 4 (55:30):
Like, oh yeah, I legit would walk out.
Speaker 1 (55:35):
Well, well you don't have to, thankfully. One thing also
that was said to me by Rowin this is a
little odd. I don't know how I feel about this
with the Devil Wears Praduct, because if I was like
a Bassis, if I was a Bassis guitarist drummer, and
I was told we'll write this without you, Champ, you
just pick up later. I don't know how I feel
about that.
Speaker 3 (55:56):
Yeah, so chat for anyone who doesn't know. This is
Kyle Segres. He is and he has been a guitarist
for the band since twenty fifteen. He has co wrote
everything from Transit Blue to Color Decay So but for
their latest album, which is coming on next month, Flowers
half the band weren't involved in the writing process. The
only people involved were Jeremy and Mike, who are original members,
(56:19):
and then John, their keyboardist and synthesized it synthesizer guy
who's been working with them since twenty twelve. But beyond
that too, they also worked with a bunch of other
collaborators to help write out the song, Like I got
like a little like list right here. Like one's a
guy named Jonathan Garring who apparently is like, oh not
Jonathan Garrett.
Speaker 1 (56:38):
Wow, that is just like you get Saren pick it there,
I do it all the time.
Speaker 3 (56:43):
Yeah wow, you know, But like other tracks involved, like
the one this one of the guys from Fit for
a King, I forget his name, but like again, This
all broke because Kyle last night posted a video on
Instagram where he is learning one of their new songs enough,
(57:03):
and he was like saying, like, I'm learning a bunch
of songs for like when we go live with this tour,
and people were like, what are you talking about? Didn't
you didn't you write this? Is like, no, I was
not involved in the creative process. They wanted to go
in a different direction and they thought it'd be better if, like,
you know, I wasn't involved.
Speaker 4 (57:21):
I'm breathing a little.
Speaker 1 (57:22):
Bit, but like, yeah, it'd be one thing if he
never wrote with them, like it was just never like
something he did in the.
Speaker 4 (57:27):
First as a touring musician.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
Yeah, yeah, exactly. But like he's eleven years in, You've
written albums with them, you've helped them, and they're like no, no, yeah,
that's I don't know. Alex Aidy thoughts on this because
I feel like weird.
Speaker 5 (57:42):
I would be pised, p I s ed if this happened, upset,
like what the hell you guys, Like I've been with
you the whole time?
Speaker 2 (57:53):
What's he doing here? What is going on?
Speaker 1 (57:54):
Does it feel about condescending?
Speaker 4 (57:58):
That feels dude?
Speaker 3 (58:00):
If you watch the video to where he's learning the
song and just playing along to it, he looks depressed.
I'm not gonna lie, he just has like.
Speaker 1 (58:06):
This, Like, yeah, I can't blame.
Speaker 3 (58:09):
He's probably concentrating on just on just getting the song right,
but he just looks so defeated in the video.
Speaker 1 (58:17):
I don't know, it sucks. Like I don't know what
else to say though, because they got to go on
tour soon. The new album just came out. People like
the new album Bear, like I haven't heard it all,
but still I.
Speaker 3 (58:27):
Like the singles as they've been coming up. But I mean,
like that's just kind.
Speaker 1 (58:30):
Of album has come out yet. Excuse me for the singles.
People are joint because it's something different, but it's also like, yeah,
maybe it's different because they wouldn't let their guitarists right, well.
Speaker 3 (58:39):
Well not just their guitarists. It's just like it's also
two other members too. Their bassis and their drummer were
not involved either. It's the two original members and their
keyboardists and a bunch of other collaborators.
Speaker 4 (58:51):
And I mean, like I get that.
Speaker 3 (58:53):
In the music industry, it's like it's kind of an
open secret that like bands sell songs to each other
or like help each other, regret spield, but just like
at the same time, just not involving them whatsoever, even
though they are official members, they have been with you
for years and have co written albums with you. That
does feel like that does feel like you are being
(59:13):
like demoted.
Speaker 1 (59:14):
Or something a little bit side tangent. Someone just made
a comment tool. In the Sphere, Adam Jones would have
the most insane visuals, big custom just for the Sphere.
People would go catatonic in there.
Speaker 3 (59:28):
So that would be the closest to taking to like
experiencing drugs without actually taking drugs.
Speaker 2 (59:34):
Well sober, yes, yeah, that'll be insane. That would be
so wild, that would all those visuals.
Speaker 1 (59:40):
Yeah, that would be appropriate for the Sphere though, And
that's still a lot of tickets.
Speaker 4 (59:43):
So oh my god.
Speaker 3 (59:45):
They do like you know, like those like grat like
those animations they do with like a bunch of their
shows where it's like it's like these infinite patterns the Sphere.
That is a total that would just melt your brain.
Speaker 1 (59:57):
Okay, we're going from one live band to another. That'll
this band will ever played the Spear. But they made
the right moves at their festival circuit. This band who
I cannot remember their name? Crap, did you see what's
going on? Do you see on stage? What can you
make out on stage? What's on the screen right now?
(01:00:19):
Just calling out the probably they're hungry? Does that sound right?
What's on stage? What's on stage right now? What's listening?
Is a three piece dad rock band out of Nashville,
and the fourth member is just grilling hot dogs and
giving them out to the crowd while the band plays
a thirty minute set.
Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
Don't understand draw a crowd.
Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
That's all there is to it. That's the new gimmick.
This band's been around for a while. It's like it
really is like glorified dad rock yacht rock style. You know.
But they just brought the guy with a grill and said,
you know what, cook him.
Speaker 5 (01:00:58):
I mean the slip Nat has a keg, so they
have a griller. It's just part of the band.
Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
Cloud writes a lot of the music too, and it's
hilarious at all he does is paying the cake. I
get it.
Speaker 3 (01:01:08):
If you're in a mosh pin, you're moving around, you're
pushing people, You're you're swinging. I mean, like that burns
a lot of calories. You gotta be able to recharge.
Speaker 1 (01:01:15):
I'll say this, like at Ride Fast or any other festival,
if there was a new band and someone said, hey,
these guys are grilling hot dogs and give it away
while they're play, I'm going to be interested for free.
So why wouldn't I.
Speaker 3 (01:01:27):
Yeah, fifteen minutes, you go to the front, grab a
hot dog or a burger, you eat that, you go
back in.
Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
I was gonna say, we've already had our hot talk discussion, though,
like if you're doing street hot dogs, we do do
festival hot dogs from a guy you've never met, tossed
from stage to the crowd, and.
Speaker 5 (01:01:44):
He's probably all sweaty, and I don't thinks I'm okay, thank
you though.
Speaker 3 (01:01:49):
Well, I mean, like they're free, though they're probably better
than like what the fifteen dollars hot dog they'll probably
get like the actual food stand.
Speaker 1 (01:01:56):
Arts Fishing Club is the name of the band, which
is also an appropriate name for a band like this
Arts Fishing Club, So.
Speaker 3 (01:02:02):
Okay, Gretchen's got the right idea freak g Lizzies in
the Pit rad.
Speaker 1 (01:02:06):
The glazzy pit band called Sincere Engineer had a corn
dog pit like people just run around with the corn dogs.
So it's kind of in the same vein. So we
now go to one of Alex's favorite artists, and I
saved the story because I found about it today. The
story broke a couple of weeks ago, Alex, Have you
heard what Halsey said about her current musing me making situation?
Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
Tell me?
Speaker 1 (01:02:30):
Do you really want to know?
Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
No, you don't.
Speaker 5 (01:02:35):
You know what I'm gonna I'm gonna be super honest
with you. I cannot see your screen so I am
flying by the seat of my pants and this is awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:02:41):
Tell me what Halsey am?
Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
I not sharing the screen anymore? No, can you hear?
Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
Oh yeah, I can hear and see you guys, just fine,
I can.
Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
I need you to hear. What she's saying is the things.
See if you can drop off the connection and drop
back on or not? Don't I just gonna feel like,
see if you can click off my screen on Discord
and clickbod like this is something need to hear at least.
Speaker 2 (01:03:01):
Okay, wish me luck. We're jumping in.
Speaker 1 (01:03:03):
Okay, Okay, hey, I'm in.
Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
Let's do it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
Can you see my screen?
Speaker 3 (01:03:07):
Yep?
Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
Okay, here we go.
Speaker 2 (01:03:09):
Dropped from my label.
Speaker 1 (01:03:11):
Unthinkable.
Speaker 6 (01:03:12):
I got dropped from my label, and then I had
to go sign if I get dropped from my label,
stupid YouTube switch. I got dropped from my label. I
had to go sign somewhere else. And I had to
go sign somewhere else. Ten years into my career, having
multiple number one hits, massive records, number one albums, you know,
(01:03:33):
triple platinum albums, four times platin albums, and I made
that record and then I couldn't get, sorry, the tools
or the resources, sorry to make another one.
Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
I got dropped from my lap.
Speaker 1 (01:03:51):
She stalks at another one as well. So that album
that was produced by nine Inch Nails, that was good,
I enjoyed, sold one hundred thousand copies, so one hundred
thousand copies on its first week, and the label still said, oh,
that's not good enough for us. Hit the bricks and
the YEP. And that's also why we haven't heard from
Halsey in a while, because it's still label drama. She
(01:04:13):
has to sign with other people and it's still a
big mess waiting. So if you wonder why we haven't
released proper.
Speaker 2 (01:04:19):
The Greatest Impersonator, she released an album since then.
Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
Yeah, the new label. Yeah, but like, oh yeah, it's
still a big mess apparently with the label stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:04:28):
Absolutely that the whole the label situation is still so crummy.
We heard from Shirley Manson and she was really adamant
about the music industry and where it sits right now
and how it is completely unsustainable for even a big band,
a legacy act like Garbage to do what they're supposed
to do. Yeah, Haulsey's in a different league. She's like
a top forty yeah pop star who has sold the
current ends of millions. Yeah, yeah, but she it's like
(01:04:51):
the Katy Perry story. I know, we're kind of on
a tangent, but whatever, the Katy Perry story, Like she
got signed to a label and they shelved her because
they wanted somebody else who had the same looking, same vibe. Yes,
so they're like, we're just gonna take you and put
you here, so you can't do anything to compete with
the guy we've got in the corner waiting. It's kind
they do crummy stuff like that all the time. Yep,
it's so messed up.
Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
These are commodities, not people to the live Yep. That's
just it's like a race horse. You don't care about
the actual racehorses feelings. If they're not going to win
you money, then put that other horse to the side.
Speaker 4 (01:05:22):
Yeah, I hate that.
Speaker 3 (01:05:23):
It's just a situation where one hundred thousand out like
copies sold in like the first couple of weeks isn't
seen as not good.
Speaker 1 (01:05:29):
Enough in the twenty twenties as well, when that was huge.
Speaker 3 (01:05:33):
Yeah, it reminds me of how like movies nowadays need
to make like a billion dollars just to break even
or something like that. I mean, like you're you're likely
should I say this, You're putting way too much on
like these like works of fiction or art or something
like that.
Speaker 5 (01:05:52):
My point of bringing up Katie Perry wasn't to say, like, hey,
Perry is the best I love. It's just to the
point of these people don't care about people. They don't
care who you are, they don't care what you're doing,
they don't care.
Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
What you've done for them money yep.
Speaker 5 (01:06:04):
But they're like, you didn't make enough money, so sorry,
And that album was really good. If I can't have Love,
I want Power is a good album. It's the album
total nine inch nails vibes throughout obviously it's a good album.
Speaker 1 (01:06:17):
That is ridiculous, these big five hundred thousand albums. It's
first week though, so she's done.
Speaker 5 (01:06:24):
Yes, these big business people are just so bad, so gross.
Speaker 2 (01:06:28):
I it makes me so mad.
Speaker 1 (01:06:30):
So bad. Well, I think that's a good look at
all the new current stuff going on. We have a
little bit of a switch up because this week we're
going to be a Halloween based for our song of
the week, album of the Week or album versus album First,
We're gonna go for some upcoming tours. BECU quite if
you got announced. We already talked about Sonic Temple Alex.
Speaker 5 (01:06:51):
We talked about Sonic Temple yep, well yeah we covered
that one Iron Made It also announced a twenty twenty
six North American tour with Megadeth and Anthrax. Fun One
Huge One one very legacy metal Hell Yeah. Food Fighters
just streamed a new single and announced a twenty twenty
six North American stadium tour with Queens of the Stone Age.
We've got Bleed from Within. They're going to tour the
(01:07:13):
UK and Ireland early twenty twenty six. Rowan I mean Limp,
Biscuit and Gorillas are hitting the road with Bring Me
the Horizon.
Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
Oh, this isn't a tour. I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (01:07:23):
This is a festival for rock for the people in
Czech Republic. So Limp Biscuit Gorillas, Bring Me the Horizon
and Iron Maiden as headliners.
Speaker 1 (01:07:31):
Alex did get your tickets. Since you're gonna get me tickets.
Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
I expect a guest list when we get there.
Speaker 4 (01:07:36):
Rowing yeah, no, I got you.
Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
I'm going to break stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:07:40):
Oh perfect excepting the truth.
Speaker 5 (01:07:52):
We've got a perfect circle. They just announced their first
European tour since twenty eighteen, which is cool. We've got
grind Mother if she's so funny. Grindmother is going to
be joined by members of Arch Enemy, Bratt, Visitant and
other names I can't say on the radio or I'll
get fined.
Speaker 1 (01:08:10):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:08:10):
At a farewell celebration, Poppy just announced Australian and European
tour dates. Acid Bath announced their first ever UK show.
Death Clock, Avatar, Cradle of Filth and more were added
to Welcome to Rockville.
Speaker 2 (01:08:23):
We've got bad Omens. That was a huge one arena tour. Yep,
that's huge.
Speaker 5 (01:08:28):
I'm super proud of bad Omens for getting to this level.
And they're also bringing out bear Tooth and President. I
have feelings about President.
Speaker 1 (01:08:35):
But whatever, I will say this bad Omens of bear
Tooth getting an arena tour awesome. I think that's good.
Speaker 5 (01:08:40):
Awesome, That's awesome Hawthorn Heights. I don't know if I
said that or not. And that's all I've got.
Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
Okay, So a lot of stuff came out this week
and lot stuff too, So definitely start looking at calendars
trying to book stuff if it's coming near you, Rowan,
Halloween's going to be a big Friday for music.
Speaker 3 (01:08:56):
Oh yeah, definitely. First of all, I mean, first of all,
we talked about Creeper earlier. They're releasing a new album
called sangle Wore two Mistress of Depth. I don't even
know if I pronounced that first word, right, Yeah, Okay, cool? Yeah,
Death Core Icons Despised Icon are releasing shadow Work, and honestly,
I'm really excited about that one.
Speaker 1 (01:09:16):
I've been listening to.
Speaker 3 (01:09:17):
The single singles are brutal, especially the one with the
guy from Kublai Khan.
Speaker 4 (01:09:21):
I love that one.
Speaker 3 (01:09:22):
Avatar Don't Go into the Forest. I think that's the
one that, like we're all excited about it, Honestie, like
Avatar feels like a perfect band to release a Halloween right,
you know, yeah, And I mean, like, of course, these
two EPs that are coming out to I know we're
both really excited.
Speaker 1 (01:09:39):
Alex.
Speaker 3 (01:09:40):
I know you're really looking forward to this. The pre
Reckless are really releasing Taylor Momson's Prey Reckless Christmas EP
this Friday. Anything that can kill the juggernaut that is
Mariah Carey's all I want for Christmas, I am and
that has my full support. And again I'm super excited
about this. Trivium is releasing their Struck Dead EP. This
(01:10:00):
is the last one to feature Ben Azer drummer. We
talked about them a couple of weeks weeks ago, and again,
like I've heard the snippets, I'm really excited. Trivium to
this day really has not missed with like our release.
So I expect great things and I know it's gonna
be great.
Speaker 1 (01:10:17):
Awesome, A lot of good stuff this week. Good Halloween,
very appropriate. I think we do have super jets, thank
you so much. We will get to those in just
a moment. First, we're going to talk about Song of
the Week, which album, So for Song of the Week,
we already talked about Avatar This is the title track,
Don't Go on the Forest. This gets released tomorrow. Why
am I choosing it now because I already heard the album.
(01:10:39):
This is the title track. This is a fun song.
This whole album, by the way, without giving a full review,
It's much more into the atmosphere about making something dark
in a story, and they did really well with this.
It's not like Avatar Country, where the story is just
a joke and every song is about the king. No,
this feels like a full, fleshed out story again, and
thematic elements and the crazy guitar solos are awesome. They
(01:11:03):
let Kungan go nuts on some of these and it's great.
So title track comes out tomorrow, album comes out Friday,
sort of the week is the title track from Avatar.
Then we go to our album versus album. Last week
we did something for Judas Priest and it was the
expected results, but maybe not by this much. Sixty seven
two thirds votes for Painkiller over Screaming for Vengeance. I'm
(01:11:27):
surprised it was that steep thoughts.
Speaker 3 (01:11:31):
I feel I can understand that Screaming for Vengeance feels
like the classic and Judicus Priest, but like I feel
like pain Killer, I just love that record more. And
it's just kind of like, it's interesting that apparently a
lot of people of a lot of other people agree.
Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
With me there, you know, no, I gotcha, Alex, any
other thoughts.
Speaker 5 (01:11:50):
I'm honestly kind of surprised at how skewed that is.
But I mean they're very different. They are, I guess,
like I don't want to say just different albums, but
different people like one over the other a lot more.
Speaker 3 (01:12:04):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
It's kind of we saw that last week when we
were talking about it. It's kind of a full.
Speaker 5 (01:12:08):
Split of some people really like this one or they
really like this one. It's not really like a middle
ground kind of one.
Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
I gotcha, But anythink like growing up it feels like
Electric Eye and Breaking the Lag. They were like more
in the like just kind of like in like the
public space, you know, yeah, anything off Painkiller, you know,
Like again this was like this is like the classic
pre sound you think.
Speaker 1 (01:12:30):
Of for sure? We now go Thanks to a Halloween
recommendation we talked about icetein Kills. Well, let's talk about
the Halloween albums or the horror albums. I should say,
which horror album from ice Ny Kills would you choose
the Silver Scream or the Silver Scream Too. I just
made the whole public odd here. So for the Iceni
(01:12:51):
Kills fans, this is your chance. Which Ike fan album
would you prefer? Tss TSS two Horrwold live chat It's up.
Do either of you have thoughts on which Eisni Kills album.
Speaker 3 (01:13:10):
I gotta be honest, probably Silver Screen too, just because
that's the one I can remember more stuff off of.
It's got the American Psycho song, It's got the chuck
Y song. I like the title track two a lot too,
So I mean, like, that's.
Speaker 5 (01:13:22):
My choice, Alex anything, I prefer Silver Scream for sure.
Silver Scream hands down. That was one of those albums
when it first came out that was a full front
to back, Okay, listen all the way through, no skips,
which is hard.
Speaker 2 (01:13:34):
That's really hard for me personally, you know.
Speaker 5 (01:13:37):
I usually am like, I don't really like that track,
but when that one came out, I'm like, all right,
And the Freddy Krueger song, I'm like, yeah, I like this.
Speaker 2 (01:13:44):
This has a nice vibe for me.
Speaker 1 (01:13:47):
It's a very close split, just barely for Silver Scream too,
because of the music behind it, not so much the
topics in each like horror dedication, some of the guitar works,
some of the breakdowns, some of the heaviness just hits
a little harder for me. I still takes Solver Scream
any day, though, so it's a split for me. I'm
happy with either. Chat get to voting. We're now going
to go some people said this is so hard, so
(01:14:09):
dang it. I'm hoping that's the reaction. Let's go to
super chats quickly again. We're going late, but we had
so much horror discussion. It's Halloween, we're dressed up. Let
us have fun. Please. So oh where'd you go? There
you go? Your images went away just for a moments.
From Ellie Yeats, thank you Ellieyeats. If there's someone here
who ironically says Psycho Center is a great horror band,
(01:14:30):
they need to be put on a list and give
it a restraining order. Happy Halloween throw bunkins this time. Yes,
put on a list at like, man, the public watch
list probably could just be anyone that bought that album,
like paid for it. That's probably a good.
Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
Vie has a list of known supporters.
Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
Yeah, oh they should at this point. From homeschooled Punk.
What's your guy's favorite horror movie? Mine is green Room. Also,
the scariest band artist has to be gg Allen. He's
scary for different reasons though gg Allen, it's not so
much horror as he is a horror that's a little
bit different. It is horrifying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, yeah,
I get the get yes yes. So also green Room,
(01:15:11):
I never saw that starts the one guy who played
Patrick Stewart. Yeah, starts Patrick Stewart and the guy that
was his last movie of the Russian from Star Trek.
I do not remember his name. He was a good
actor before. Yeah, yeah, I never saw it though, So
thank you. We answered our horror movies before as well.
So from HG. Jason. Nice Halloween costumes. Also, holy crap,
(01:15:34):
it's already Wednesday. Yes, it comes up fast right, thank
you for the Thank you for the costume. Love homeschooled
punk again. I remember seeing the music video for the
Kill by thirty seconds to mars Oof before knowing about
the shining. It was super confused at the time. Yeah,
if you didn't know about the shining, it's it's hard
to get the concept of that. But funnily enough, that's
also when thirty seconds Tomars was good. Yeah, yeah, all right,
(01:16:00):
we got some super chats. Are you guys ready to
book some Halloween festivals? I don't know if that's good
or not.
Speaker 3 (01:16:08):
I could by the way it's pressing into like the
headphones and the hat are pressing into my ears.
Speaker 1 (01:16:15):
I mean fred Durst technically has to take the hat
off at some points. You know he doesn't live in it.
Speaker 3 (01:16:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:16:21):
Yeah, here's like my Tim Burton hair for all of you.
Speaker 1 (01:16:23):
Oh, there you go. Each week when we hit a
like gol or we get super chats, play a game
called Festival rock or Flop. We look random festivals in
a super chat if with through super chats four ft
random bands at a random middle of nowhere festival take
up radio station festivals. Here we got our first one.
Do we hit the likeael I don't think we hit
it yet. If you hadn't hit the light oh we
(01:16:44):
If you haven't hit the like button yet, please hit it.
We're three away. We'll get to the super chat once first. Well,
you guys, hit it, Please hit the light button. Guys,
it holps this up the side yeat fest is up first.
Are you guys ready? Yeah, I hope I did not
think sus with what I said. Here we go yeat Fest.
Band Number one, we got if mice and Men.
Speaker 3 (01:17:06):
Not that.
Speaker 1 (01:17:08):
With that. Number two, Greta Van Fleet's not the same fit,
airing odd vibe, but we're gonna keep going. Number three
the Cure, Oh that does feel good for Halloween. That's appropriate.
And number four Steel Panther. Okay, what is this all
(01:17:29):
over the place?
Speaker 4 (01:17:30):
There is no consistency.
Speaker 1 (01:17:32):
Yeat Fest had twenty four hours to book a festival
and this is what they got. So the Cure is headlining.
You know, steel Panther opens up and.
Speaker 3 (01:17:46):
I like, with the exception of Steel Panther, I like
all these band bands individually. I don't know if I
can handle seeing them all play one after the Total Wlash.
Speaker 1 (01:17:57):
It is total whiplash.
Speaker 4 (01:17:58):
It's so whipple, it's so total whiplash.
Speaker 1 (01:18:00):
I would go. I do think it could make money
just banked off the Cure alone, especially for like a
Halloween Fest or show Boy. It's pushing it, though, because
Steel Panthers gonna do weird stuff for a Halloween show.
Speaker 3 (01:18:12):
Weird. So Alex, any thoughts, who am I missing?
Speaker 2 (01:18:16):
I've got Steel Panther the cure of fleet cred a fleet.
Oh yeah, this is so weird.
Speaker 1 (01:18:23):
See right, it's total whiplash for sure.
Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
But I think I don't I don't need.
Speaker 1 (01:18:29):
To go right, Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I
don't need to. This is not something that we have
to like make plans for. But I love the cure though.
The men, every one are the chats echoing our thoughts.
Yet no horrible, No, it's not horrible. A steel panther
(01:18:51):
can't get horrible sometimes, but that's intentional. I think, what
do we call youa festa? Yeah, you're a nay.
Speaker 4 (01:18:59):
I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (01:19:02):
Ye yes, no, yes, no, yay if you like, thank
you Gretzen for letting me know you fest, I think
by a razor margin. Yeah, it's so like what would
the audience make up be? That's another thing, like.
Speaker 4 (01:19:22):
Who what would be?
Speaker 1 (01:19:23):
So? Yeah, you have it in Anchorage, Alaska. I feel
like Anchorage, Alaska and just everyone shows up because there's
nothing else to do.
Speaker 4 (01:19:33):
So yet Alaska, of course.
Speaker 1 (01:19:35):
Yeah. So homeschool punk Europe, homeschool Fest here we go
band number one. We got Buck Cherry Boy. If there
was a band that screams homeschooled it's buck Cherry. Oh
we're not having a lot of great luck this week.
Number two, Cliff Diver, we had last week, so we
(01:19:58):
need to move on. So buck Cherry number two not
credit infleet. Number two, imagine dragons. So we have imagined
dragons and chair homeschool Fest. I'm not loving what you're
throwing up there. I'm not sure it's gonna make the
money you think.
Speaker 3 (01:20:14):
Imagine the other two are going to be like the
greatest like picks ever.
Speaker 1 (01:20:17):
I hope. So you got to make up for it somehow.
We're in the business to make money. Number three we
got hinder. Oh no, this is.
Speaker 3 (01:20:26):
The antithesis of everything you stand for.
Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
What in the world happened to homeschool Fest?
Speaker 2 (01:20:33):
What did you do?
Speaker 1 (01:20:34):
Homeschool kids don't deserve this. Number four Joe Jet and
the Black Hearts. We are not allowing Joe Jet to
be on that stage.
Speaker 2 (01:20:45):
No, no, not deserve that.
Speaker 1 (01:20:48):
How we're booking agent is straight up fired. Not even
let go like called on the phone, get out of
your office. You're done.
Speaker 3 (01:20:58):
I'm gonna be Yeah, there's not a single person who's
gonna say yes to this.
Speaker 4 (01:21:03):
I can't imagine.
Speaker 1 (01:21:04):
I don't even think Joan Jett would say yes to
this if she was paid. She says no, No, she
would have to she would have to say no. She
was like, I'm not getting on a plane for that. Heck, no,
forget it. I'm staying at home.
Speaker 2 (01:21:14):
How you.
Speaker 4 (01:21:17):
Got?
Speaker 3 (01:21:17):
You got probably the worst lineup we've had so far.
Speaker 1 (01:21:20):
Imagine Dragons, Buck, Cherry Hinder, and Joan Jet.
Speaker 4 (01:21:26):
Now it feels mean to Joe Jet.
Speaker 3 (01:21:28):
A little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
We let her, let's just move her over.
Speaker 1 (01:21:40):
Sorry, homeschool plucks. So we have two o it for two.
Jason Fest is the last one, and that we have
our own jason Fest. Let's see if we get some redemption.
Number one, Chevelle. There there's a band. Yeah, Chevelle. Number two. Oh,
we got massive out. See jason Fest's helping pick up
the slack. There we go. Number three. All the remains, Okay,
(01:22:07):
I can deal with it. I can deal with it. Okay,
is that fair? I can deal with it.
Speaker 5 (01:22:13):
This is I'll be singing two weeks. You'll be singing
two weeks at the top of your lungs and having
a grand old time.
Speaker 1 (01:22:18):
Uh huh. Number four, no, oh, no, dress wet Scantland
playing Nirvana.
Speaker 3 (01:22:30):
Cherry I would rather have, But Cherry would I would too.
That was a one two punch right there from your
AI or your.
Speaker 2 (01:22:44):
Happen.
Speaker 1 (01:22:45):
By the way, that's not puddle. That is not puddle
of bud. That is dress drunk West Scantland playing Nirvana covers.
It's a difference.
Speaker 4 (01:22:54):
Thank god.
Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
Chevelleevelle and Vastadod are straight up there just to laugh.
They wanted to see the nightmare. That's it.
Speaker 2 (01:23:05):
I'm not happy with festival. Our weekend sucks.
Speaker 4 (01:23:08):
Okay, no, no knowing. I could salvage this.
Speaker 3 (01:23:10):
I can pregame, go to this, have a great laugh
at this abomination, and then by the time I sober up,
I will get to experience Chavelle and mass it on.
Speaker 4 (01:23:22):
So that's my strategy.
Speaker 3 (01:23:23):
What about you guys, I couldn't go.
Speaker 1 (01:23:26):
I don't want to enable something like this, like.
Speaker 2 (01:23:31):
I can't go because I'm six.
Speaker 3 (01:23:33):
At least say that this would be the opening act.
Puddle of one is not is not where they were?
What were?
Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
That's the first time that's come up. Also, that's a
wild that it's been there for so long and it
finally came up. Sorry, Jason Fest, I will not be going.
No I can't. It's a moral responsibility at this point,
moral responsibily.
Speaker 5 (01:23:55):
I wish you guys were more familiar with what we
do in the shadows, so that I could say soup
and stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:24:00):
I can.
Speaker 1 (01:24:02):
That's a show. I keep wanting to get into it,
but I haven't.
Speaker 2 (01:24:04):
It's funny. It's so stupid, but I like the funny.
Speaker 1 (01:24:07):
I like my castle. I like the guy from the
IT crowd, So you.
Speaker 4 (01:24:10):
Know, I see.
Speaker 3 (01:24:10):
I saw the movie that the show is based on.
Speaker 4 (01:24:13):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (01:24:15):
All right, Well, next time you better come prepared, gentlemen.
Speaker 1 (01:24:18):
All right, we got a lot of homework to do.
That affair the entire show next week. Yes, all right,
we have our festival. We'll name it after Here we go.
Number one, we have some luck here with what scamp? Okay,
fresh day, this is it.
Speaker 4 (01:24:37):
Number one, you can't show up again?
Speaker 1 (01:24:39):
Go cheer up. There we go. See working better already.
Number two. LOVI it all. I know someone who's gonna go. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:24:52):
I will definitely be there, yes.
Speaker 1 (01:24:54):
Side stage probably Number three poison God. Fine, okay, I'll
say this. It's fun to see the middle age and
older audience of women lose their minds for this man. Michael,
that's fine. You know it's something you could just not
(01:25:16):
listen to. But I assure you seeing it, it's a
show because those women are trying to kill security to
get on stage with them.
Speaker 5 (01:25:24):
Is this poison and Brett Michaels poison Okay, I'll get
down with some poison, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:25:29):
And number four a day to remember we are all
over the place again, this.
Speaker 4 (01:25:37):
One I willson.
Speaker 1 (01:25:39):
Yeah, take it as my like how I advertise it
as and it's a lot easier to take it. Also,
I can see a Data remember doing something fun for Halloween?
Think about it definitely. Yeah, I would go to this
go Jira and a Data remember that that that's come on,
that's you got that? That's fine? And lov it opening
(01:26:00):
up so Alex and Lovia can just hang out and
back for an hour and a half.
Speaker 2 (01:26:05):
Yeah, it'll be like every rose. It'll be fine. It'll
be fine.
Speaker 1 (01:26:10):
It'd be the two groupies on stage for Brett Michaels.
Speaker 3 (01:26:13):
Oh, Jared, Yet all those grainny panties thrown on stage.
I would claw my eyes out if I see that.
Speaker 1 (01:26:21):
I don't think you realize they don't even they're not
even trying to do that. They're trying to get at him,
like up on stage to get to him. So I
would go this works, remember, and then Brett Michael's riling
up all the moms.
Speaker 2 (01:26:39):
You know what we do have to send the moms somewhere.
Speaker 1 (01:26:43):
Yes, yes, exactly. The moms may not love a day
to remember a Gojira, but they're gonna come anyway for
Brett Michaels and poison. So it's gonna make money. I
see a lot more. Yes, is going for a Gojira
to data remember? Yes? Yes, Allo merch during poison sure,
third time poison show. Okay, that is inappropriate to the chat. Yeah,
(01:27:04):
I get what you're saying, but grossed, you're grounded. But
you know what else? What else? That is a successful concert?
I don't know what concept we're going. What do we
name this one?
Speaker 4 (01:27:16):
You're clapping that guys.
Speaker 1 (01:27:18):
Calling that guy. I'm trying to clap for our festival,
our successful one out of four festival. By the way,
I don't think we can crap on sodding Temple not
looking a perfect festival anymore. It's hard to apparently, apparently.
Speaker 4 (01:27:31):
Sometimes sometimes you just get unlucky with the generator.
Speaker 1 (01:27:34):
Yeah, that's what they did this year and actually worked
decently because there's plenty of bands to choose from that
one we got, Yeah, they will not have Dress Drunk West,
Scantlon or Buck Cherry and Hinder with Jones Jet, so
you know what they went on that one, and we
go to our poll. I'll just leave this up right
(01:27:55):
here with the photo of Jeremy McKinnon. Our poll for
the live yet which Icenike kills out? Which prefer the
silver Screen two or the silver Screen? The silver Screen
wins at fifty seven percent, so it's a decent split,
fifty seven to forty three. That's pretty decent. I am curious, Yeah,
the Horror Wood one. I am curious to see what
(01:28:18):
they like. The poll will be on the main channel,
so that'll be linked to the comments and the pin
comment on YouTube and in the podcast notes if you're
listening on the podcast. I would also like to say
this our final question to Alex and Rowan, very serious here, Alex, first, ladies, first,
what is your favorite Halloween candy?
Speaker 2 (01:28:37):
Ooh, I'm a sucker for a nice races?
Speaker 1 (01:28:40):
Okay, classic Rowan? How about you?
Speaker 4 (01:28:44):
Milky Way?
Speaker 1 (01:28:45):
Very good choices? Both of you always love those. If
I'm going non chocolate, give me sour Patch kids, but
I take Recis or milky way any day. Also, good
candy choices talking just.
Speaker 4 (01:28:57):
Like candy, nut chocolate else today skittles.
Speaker 1 (01:29:00):
There you do. You guys like butter fingers, but okay,
I like butter fingers, but I get that they're not
for everyone. They get stuck in your teeth for a week.
Yeah that's yeah, so that I do get. Also, if
you're in the chat and if you're in the comment
session watching this, let's start your favorite Halloween candy. That's
the important research we need to do on the podcast.
That rocks. Yeah yeah, yeahs blob as stuff. But we
(01:29:20):
need to know what candy is the best. Okay, that's
the important stuff. Eminem's are always a classic.
Speaker 4 (01:29:24):
That your favorite horror movies too.
Speaker 1 (01:29:26):
Yeah, tell I said that before. But yeah, tell us
your favorite horror movies. Tell us your favorite candies. This
is a good time for it. Listen to fred Durst.
Speaker 2 (01:29:35):
All listen to fred Durst. That is bad in life.
Speaker 1 (01:29:37):
Don't listen to fred Durst any other time, any other night. Don't.
But right now I took the cap.
Speaker 4 (01:29:43):
I'm not fred Durst. That's just a guy longer than
the hat.
Speaker 1 (01:29:49):
That like changes you into this the personality. Yeah, I
just I put this on.
Speaker 4 (01:29:55):
I become like nineties.
Speaker 1 (01:29:57):
Bro, Yes, exactly, transformation.
Speaker 2 (01:30:01):
Oh yeah, my mom loves yeah Sailor.
Speaker 3 (01:30:08):
Moon.
Speaker 1 (01:30:08):
Oh what kind of nightmare crossover did you just create?
Speaker 3 (01:30:10):
For all? On his Instagram, his Instagram like profile picture
is like from even Gellion, he loves anime.
Speaker 1 (01:30:17):
That's fine, but I when I hear oh yeah, I
love anime. Oh yeah, like what Sailor Moon? Oh okay,
that's the.
Speaker 3 (01:30:24):
First thing that came into mind when I was thinking
like transformations. You know, she raised a little wand or whatever.
Speaker 4 (01:30:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:30:31):
All right, really quick, Alex Rowan, smile for the camera,
screenshot for photos. Put your hat at on just for
a moment, if you would, Rowin. Yeah, sure, I got Yeah,
we gotta get ready. Everyone, please indulge. Say happy Halloween,
real quick, Happy Halloween. Perfect. I'll just get a screenshot.
(01:30:53):
That's it. Have the healthy Halloween give away, good candy.
Don't get stingy. Kids have it hard enough as it is.
If they with a weak costume, give them candy. Anyway.
It's a rough time right now. Be nice to kids.
Speaker 3 (01:31:05):
I'd say, I'd say, have like the fun size candy
for the lame causumes and had the king size versus
reserve for the people who go all.
Speaker 4 (01:31:10):
The way and do it.
Speaker 1 (01:31:12):
Yeah, you gotta do it, and do it in front
of the kids that and do it for the front
of that like the older teenagers too, that don't even try.
Oh yeah, here's your Okay, if you're.
Speaker 5 (01:31:20):
A teenager and you're coming dressed up, hell yeah. If
you're dressed on delinquent yea.
Speaker 1 (01:31:24):
If you're dressed up one hundred percent, especially if you're
walking around like a little brother or sister. If it's
just two teenagers and street clothes, not trying. Okay, okay, kids,
come on, come on now, come on, so you look. Oh,
there you go.
Speaker 4 (01:31:40):
I gotta do like I gotta do like the nineties.
Speaker 1 (01:31:43):

do the thing? Okay? One, two, three, perfect gold, YouTube Gold.

(01:32:04):
topics in the comments. Please share this with everyone. Finally, Alex,
what joke would you like to tell everyone to send
us off to our Halloween weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:32:14):
Oh, I didn't know we were doing a joke. My band,
my bad.
Speaker 1 (01:32:17):
Yeah, we gotta have one to send off.
Speaker 3 (01:32:19):
If you're gonna why did the ghost not go to prom?
Speaker 4 (01:32:22):
I'm ready for it.
Speaker 5 (01:32:23):
Okay, Well, I'm so sorry to disappoint you that it's
definitely not my joke, But so I was. I was
doing laundry earlier and I tripped and I dropped my
laundry basket full of my freshly folded clothes, and my
roommate watched it all unfold.
Speaker 1 (01:32:40):
Not that I'm with rowing on this too. I got
the smile instantly. It was good. It was good delivery.
Speaker 3 (01:32:46):
Thank you, thank you. You didn't sound like it really,
it was like Halloween ting. I was kind of like
thinking that, I.
Speaker 2 (01:32:53):
Know I was going to go that round, but I'm like, nah,
this is this is I.
Speaker 4 (01:32:57):
Did the ghost go to prom because you had no
body to go with?
Speaker 1 (01:33:01):
That's that's just like from our grandparents' age, by the way,
But yes, that is appropriate.
Speaker 4 (01:33:05):
Oh yeah, I know, but definitely a key somewhere.
Speaker 1 (01:33:09):
Oh absolutely, especially the Halloween laughing Taffy's Yeah, that's what
they save, those big ones. For the Halloween laughing taffies.
We got some pumpkins three and Brooke being thrown. Someone said,
I grinned you know what? Not bad? Hopefully all your
laundry says someone's throwing ghosts. Someone just types pumpkins. Okay,
if you're gonna do that, you have to at least
do the emoji.
Speaker 2 (01:33:29):
Come on now, I mean the effort went into it barely.
Speaker 4 (01:33:35):
They don't even use most of these, just type what
they wanted to.
Speaker 1 (01:33:40):
Goodness, have a great night, everyone. We will see you
next week with more music news and Shenanigan's and hopefully
less less West Scotland being drunk and singing little vonic overs. No,
I'm not sorry because it's funny. I don't know if
I could make it through too. I do nothing I
could make it through too. No way, I'm definitely not there.
(01:34:03):
Oh darn oh no. Everyone in my family got sick
at the same time. I have to go.
Speaker 2 (01:34:11):
Laird. That's crazy timing.
Speaker 1 (01:34:13):
I know, right. Oh he's gonna he's gonna start about
a girl now. Oh oh, I gotta go faster. One
of my family members called to get bye. Sorry night everybody.
