#22 Rich and Joe discuss the ridiculous and intellectually lazy virtue signaling that claims brown skin people are more likely to be labeled as a terrorist than a white person, ultimately being called mentally ill.

Unfortunately for dishonest "journalists" or bloggers, the definition of terrorism is clear - the motive being political or ideologically driven. Period.

Regardless of motive, according to the American Psychological Association (http://psycnet.apa.org/record/2014-33751-001) lone-wolf actors are 13 times more likely to be mentally ill than group actors (CORRECTION: Joe claims 80% in the cast, although wildly misquoting this research, he still maintains the same position -- lone wolf actors are statistically significantly more likely to be mentally ill than a group actor.) Mental illness and terrorism are NOT mutually exclusive(see: http://psycnet.apa.org/fulltext/2014-33751-001.pdf & http://www.start.umd.edu/news/mental-illness-and-terrorism).

We can be equally as appalled by a mentally ill individual killing people just as much as we are when it's a terrorist. As alluded to above, I would argue that if you're a terrorist, then you're mentally ill. At least some researchers agree with me (see: http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/1057610X.2015.1120099)

Finally, we discuss the Harvey Weinstein fallout and how our society needs to address the behavior and policies that encourage victims to stay silent. How do we balance justice and preventing a moral panic?
