Speaker 1 (00:23):
All right, welcome back, fight fans. We are back for
another episode of The Real and the Rare. I'm your
host as always, Stephen Rachelle, and we got a fun
one line up for you this evening, this afternoon, depend
on where you're catching us from.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
We're being joined by b KFC fighter combat sports sports
veteran miss uh Jessica Clark.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Jesse Clark. How you feel in this afternoon, my.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
Friend, I'm feeling good, feeling good.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
So let's kind of jump right into this thing obviously.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
You know, uh, I want to give everyone a little
background on you.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Like, you know, uh, what what got you into combat sports?
What what made you made you decide?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Uh? Combat sports is the life for me.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
I love throwing my hands and uh and getting in
there and I competing against some of the best women
in the world.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Man, is kind of a funny story. I started as
just a hobby. I was three hundred pounds needing to
lose weight, you know, and I start training. Turns out
I'm pretty good at hitting people. It's it's pretty fun.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Had my first fight nine months.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
After training, and I had lost one hundred and seventy
five pounds in nine months.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
So when I jumped in, I you know, gave it
my all and I haven't stopped since.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
So I had ain't nothing wrong with that, And you know,
a lot of these stories start off like that. You know,
I was, uh, I just was interviewing one of my
friends who's been uh, you know, having one of those battles,
you know, weight weight fluctuating multiple times over over his life.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
At one point he was like three hundred and fifty pounds.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
You know, he's still on that journey to the cut
back down like you know, you know, he's had several
fights at heavyweight. He's actually on his way processed going down.
He's gonna be fighting at at two o five his
next fight.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
So it's it's one of these things that a lot
of a lot of people do it. Some people do it.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
It's because you know that they're they're truly degenerates and
they love hitting people in the face. Some people do
it's one of those things that kind of get themselves
in a better place mentally, physically, etcetera.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
So it's not an uncommon thing.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Yeah, It's it's like my therapy too, you know, it
keeps my mental health and chick.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
I don't think people.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Really look at that side of it that, you know,
the the mental health aspect of it, helping you get
some of that.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
I guess we will call it negative energy out to
kind of continue to move on. But you know, mental
health awareness is something that I don't think a lot
of people take up into account when when people get
get into you know, boxing, MMA, you know, whatever the
combat sport may be.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
But now you're taking a different another another different.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Part of that.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Yeah, now you're also taking another deep dive as we're
getting ready to do our bare knuckle debut. How did
the opportunity come about for you to start start doing
a bare knuckle?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Well man, just traveling and fighting a lot, meeting a
lot of different people, you know what I'm saying. And
I've always been one you could call me and I'm
gonna show up, you know, yeah, I'll fight your girls.
So it makes for an interesting uh character anyways, you know, yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
It does.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Yeah, yeah, you know I would have to say, you know,
it's rare to have people that that just listen, I
don't care who's who's the person across from me. You know,
I'll show up. I'll be the professional one. Let's set
a date and let's.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Have a dance.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Yeah, it is a dance man.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Man.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Obviously you've done boxing before.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
This is the this is the the debut for for
barre knuckle.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
You're making your your B y B. They view there, Uh,
how's your training changed up a little bit?

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Because obviously that there's a there's a big difference at
least in my opinion, defensively wise for for a bare knuckle.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Have you changed anything to prepare for that? O?

Speaker 4 (05:00):
But what But what I'm gonna say is my boxing
style is more bare knuckle anyways. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
I got in trouble for a lot of things in
my boxing fights that I'm actually allowed to do and
bare knuckle. So I feel like, really I've just stayed myself.
I'm but you know, pushing myself more cardio wise and
getting my hands ready.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
You know.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Listen, you know I think we we all.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
And I've been traveling and training a lot, getting a
lot of different looks from people, so I feel like
that's gonna help.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
It's it's one of these things, man, Like you know,
you come across a lot of.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
A lot of different characters in the combat sports world,
So traveling around getting different looks, going to different gyms.
I think it's kind of all part of the uh,
the process of it. So it's uh, it's fun to
kind of get different looks, look at different people's see
different styles, and you know, kind of growing that way.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
It's always, uh, it's always a fun time.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Man.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
You get used to your training partners at the gym,
you know what I'm saying, and you pick up on
each other's rhythms and habits, and you know you you
need something new fresh.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
I think it does keep it fresh, you know, And
it's it's something like I don't think I think it's
weird when we talk about it and the fighters like.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Oh, I only stay stay within my camp. I don't
do this.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I don't I don't cross training. I'm like, what's the
point of that?

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Because after you go through, like especially on the female side,
you guys, you got you gotta.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Learn some of you know, iron sharpens iron, so to speak, Like,
it doesn't matter if if I'm training in my in
my backyard at the gym, you know, if I'm going
across state lines to kind of work with work with
some people that that you know, have different looks, you
have the more styles that you come across, the more
adverse you are when you when you step into the

(07:00):
ring cage, you know, squared circle. How however you want
to look at it, I think it, Oh it does
is help prepare you in a better way. You need
to have as many looks as you can when it
comes to that. Oh yeah, yeah, it's it's always a
fun one. What are your thoughts on on on what

(07:22):
it theirs the combat sports sports world today? There, there's
we're at a time you know obviously, you know UFC
is kind of really blown blown up to to what
uh combat sports is as a whole, obviously, but boxing
is always going to be there. Uh you know, you
have I guess you know the announcement that came out
this week. You have Jake Paul fighting Tank Davis. Uh

(07:46):
there there November.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
I'm not.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
I'm not Jake Paul's biggest fan.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
I'm not I have a problem with the fight, but
I'm not gonna take away what he has done for
for boxing, which you know, what he's doing for the
women's side of it.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
As a promoter. He is one of the best out there.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
But when I see a fight like this, it's just
another one of these these head scratchers, like you get
yourself ranked by the w b b C. You're calling
out all these big names, but then when it comes
down to fight, you're you're you're fighting tank, and then
he makes these silly comments. He's first David thing Goliath
like like me, he's gonna go beat beat up on

(08:33):
the little guy, and then he's gonna go fight Goliath,
which means he's gonna be fighting one of one.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Of the bigger way guys.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
I love Jake in the sense of bringing eyes to
the sport, but I still think when you look at
this fight, it's like are we are we? He makes it,
he makes it easier to kind of poke fun at
him because it's like, what are you doing?

Speaker 4 (09:01):
Yeah, he's definitely a show man.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Yeah, I mean looks there ain't nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
But like, dude, when you're looking at most of these fights,
they're all exhibitions, So it's not so how are you
becoming a ranked fighter and you're getting wins on your
on your fight record if they're exhibitions.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
Yeah, yeah, that's the issue I got with it too.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Man, But like I'm still gonna say, like I I
keep saying that I still think the smartest thing he
ever did was uh link up with Amanda Srounal. She's
given his name more credit than he he has done
for himself over over the last you know, five years
or so. It's probably the smartest thing he actually did do.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
Yeah, I agree with that, speaking of she's a beast man,
she is.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Listen, I feel bad for you know, just because you know,
she goes through the uh the trilogy with Kate and
it's just it's didn't didn't go her way, and you know,
but I still think she is one of the baddest
women on the planet. Obviously, Uh, Clarisia Shields is the

(10:14):
quote unquote quote, but uh, you know, she's another one
who she's she's another one of of you know, the
rare female athletes we have in the combat sports world today.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
So, uh, it's gonna be it's gonna be interesting.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
But uh, now, as we're getting in the Bare Knuckle,
did you see Luke Rothsholt comments about about a few
weeks ago he was talking.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
About that.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
He obviously he made.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
His debut in the other promotion, right, and he basically
said he's not you know, losing losing his his bleeping
teeth and everything he's worked for his whole life, that
it's a dumb ass sport. I think it's a little
bit sour grapes because he got beat up by by
by Mike Perry.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
In my opinion, I think I think the reason why
I bring that up is I think.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
He he's not He's more he's came from a kickboxing background, right,
and and that that that that multi sport background where
where having your hands aren't aren't your aren't your biggest
tool in your tool chest too to then you know,
obviously had his run.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
In the UFC thing things like that.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
But when you're in there and and you you know,
you're only able to to use your bare fist, it
kind of points out like how good you are in
certain aspects. And I think we've seen that that Luke
isn't the greatest boxer.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Let alone bare knuckle box.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
And uh, I think he still has sour grace for
for for having having platinum. Mike Perry kind of uh,
you know, knock his tooth into the into the into
the crowd.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
So I.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
Jumped in.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
I went from kickboxing to boxing, and it is very
two different sports, you know, very too different.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
But the main reason I bring that up is because uh,
you know, we were talking about the different.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
Landscape of what combat sports was.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
I think over the past handful of years, bare Knuckle
as a whole has kind of shown that the UFC
isn't the only, uh the only dance out there when
when we're talking about big level fights, you know, uh,
big level performances. You know, I love both of the
the larger uh barre knuckle promotions in the United States,

(12:44):
both the company you're making your debut with with.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
B y B Try God. I think is a great idea.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
It doesn't give you anywhere to hide, nowhere to run,
you can't play games.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
It funnels you into fight.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
And then obviously what what Dave Filman and and uh
has done with with with the b KFC promotion, you know,
uh obviously having uh Connor McGregor, that they're able to
pull in a lot of these uh former uh hih
higher level or higher named fighters from the from the

(13:18):
m M A world. I think that they've done a
lot to help grow the sport. But I really do
think over you know, over the next five to ten years,
that Bare Knuckle will surpass what the UFC is doing.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
They're not bringing in stars.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
They're not creating stars like like what what Bare Knuckle
is as a whole. And I think they have severely
bridged the gap where you know, nothing was competing with
with the UFC, you know, five ten years ago, right,
they're they're they're one or where their where their next
star is coming from. They they they haven't developed the

(13:53):
stars like they did in the early days of The
Ultimate Fighter and and things like that. So is that
one of the reasons why you've you've kind of been
pulled to Baron Knuckle just because of the popularity of
the of the of the sport as a whole.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Now, oh yeah, I mean that is a big draw
to you know, who don't want to fight on a
bigger stage in front of more people.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
And I love that ship. So I look forward to
I look forward to doing it in New York too.
It's a yeah, I mean, I really do.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Which is one of the things I'm gonna bring up here. Obviously.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
You know, I've interviewed your opponent several times over the years.
She she's a she's a great person. But uh, it's
gonna get a little personal there. Uh in about a
month or so, as we're getting getting down to the
last handful of weeks one.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
How exciting? How are you get to get to share.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
The uh the try gone with a with a combat
sport veteran like like Monica, you know, somebody who just
likes to get in there, bite down on the mouthpiece
and and and throw her hammer, so to speak. And
as you were just sitting there saying, you get to
do it in New York as well, Oh yeah, no.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
I'm excited, man. I you know, I respect the veteran
in her. But we're gonna we're gonna learn each other
real well.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
You know, by the by the end of the fight,
we will we will know all about each other.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Is this one of the ones you.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Think you think you're gonna need the judges to kind
of sort all this out. It's gonna you guys are
gonna put together a nice little war for the fans
there in New York.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
I feel like it's gonna be a real good show.
I mean, she has experience in the bare knuckle world already,
so she does have that on me. But I have
a pretty extensive fight record. I've fought sixteen times, so
I'm not used to I mean, I'm pretty used to

(15:47):
getting there and banging it out, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
And the smaller the ring, the better. Like I don't like.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Doing all that checking out on a run around. I'm
good with the standing and banging. Yeah, I think they
pulled me more of them.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Yeah, it's one of them. Like I like b k
B in the Trygone because you don't have have.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
Room for for all that moving around.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
It kind of funnels you in to kind of go
into the center of the center of the ring, and
and and and throw your hands. So I think it's
a I think it's gonna be a fun fight. I'm
looking forward to it. Like I said, I've interviewed Monica
multiple times over the years.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
I'm back in her in Victor.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Days to you know, even her first her first few
Barren knuckle fights.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
So I'm interested to see to see you guys.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Throw down and to see, uh, you know, I got
I got a feeling you guys are gonna be fighting
the night when when everything kind of instead and done,
when September twenty seventh rolls around.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Well, yeah that's my goal, man, put on a hell
of a show.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
Fun doing it, you know.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Yeah, Now do you follow like uh like UFC in
in in the bigger promotions right.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Now, mostly following Bare Knuckle Man. You know, since I signed,
I've been watching you guys.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
So yeah, it's a Bare Knuckles where it's at.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
I'm not gonna I'm not gonna say that that it's
not right now, but you know, obviously I.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Like to kind of keep everything going.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Was that I said, it's pretty hot right now?

Speaker 3 (17:35):
Yeah, yeah, like I was.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
I was saying, you know a few minutes ago, like
what Bare Knuckle has done.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Over the past five years is kind of.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
Bridge the gap and what would a lot of a
lot of people look for in combat sports.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
So I definitely, like I said, I think.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
When when we're gonna be looking over the next five
to ten years, that you know, I think it's gonna
be a fun time for a lot of athletes. You
guys have a lot more places where you can, uh
you can either shine as a star or.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Have opportunities for bigger fights.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
You know, we were just talking about Mike Parrat.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
I even like what he's doing with his own promotion
with the Dirty Boxers.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
I love the idea that being able to throw elbows too,
that that's pretty nasty.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
But you're we're living at in this time where like everything,
you know, I think it's the best time to be
Like if you could. We always talk about what if
this fighter could able fight in this era, like and
things like that. But when you look at combat sports
right now, just to it's just what bare Knuckle is
doing is kind.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
Of rolling over it. Uh. You know, we were just
talking about Jake Paul.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
I think he's kind of ruining the what the purest
love about boxing because he's not he's putting on spectacles,
he's not he's not really fighting the best, the best
of the world. But you look at Baar and Nuncle,
like what they've done over you know, you know, less
than ten years is is pretty amazing.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
Yeah, I've been impressed with him for sure.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Been trying to get on for a few years now
that you know, a couple of years.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
So how'd you get on the radar? Did you get
lucky enough to go to a tryout? Did they see
one of your fights? How did that work out for you? Ah?

Speaker 4 (19:29):
I met a guy named Frank in Nebraska, had a fight.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
And he knew Ike the hurry hay and Ike and
just you know, word of mouth, he's seen me fight said, hey,
I got a girl for.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
You and Bauda being Bauda boom. You know here we are.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
I signed it as seen as they've seen it, you know,
like it didn't take much.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
It's always the good to have a friend in the
fight business to say you like, hey, man, look look
at look at look at for this girl Jesse Clark,
and she knows that how to throw her hands. She
knows how to put on a good fight. It's always
good to have a have a friend in the right place.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
I guess we would say, man, they know I'm gonna
show up when they call me.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
That's why they want me.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
I got, I gotta met I loved I love that
that Texas accent I'm getting out of you and my friend.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
Yeah, I can't help it.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
All.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Hey listen where we're born and then and the things
that come out of our man, we can't you know.
I'm from Philadelphia, and you know, you know, I always
get to say, like, how why do you guys say water?
I'm like, well, that's how we say it. There's there's
no team there, it's water.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Do you ever have anyone to sit there?

Speaker 1 (20:47):
And you know, uh, yeah, make fun of the accent
or just like or as soon as you start talking like, oh,
well you're from the.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
South, yep, yep, sound like corn brand Yep.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
Do you follow anything else beside combat sports? I know
a lot of our a lot of our athletes kind
of just sticking to the realm, but we do have
have roots sometimes, especially with you know, as we're talking
talking accents here.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Man, I'm a mom of four with a full time job.
I'll have to is you know, do my mom ship,
do my training and work?

Speaker 4 (21:23):
That's all I do every now and.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
I'm gonna pose this one. I'm gonna pose this question
on you.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Which is a harder job being a fighter or being
a mother? Because you know mom, yeah, patience daily?

Speaker 4 (21:41):
Right, yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Now, you know, what are some of the things that
they are They like traditional sports? Do they want to
follow mom's footsteps and and get in the ring?

Speaker 3 (21:59):
One of the they? How do how do they feel
about your combat sports career?

Speaker 4 (22:04):
They're all into their own little sports.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
But my daughter is my many means she's she's going
to be right there behind me.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
You know. My plan is to retire and be her coach,
you know.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
But my little boy, I got one little boy into soccer.
I got one into baseball, and uh, one of them
wants to fight, but he just hasn't started training yet.

Speaker 4 (22:30):
You know, he's a little young, But.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
They all are too young.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
There's there's always a point where you want to control
what they're training in. But obviously that it's never too
young to learn, especially if they're they're being taught properly,
you know.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
I mean, I mean, hell, look, my thing, my bad,
we're learning about you. We don't want to hear me talk.
We want to hear you talk. Jess.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Oh, My thing is is we travel to train or
I travel to train, and I'm driving two hours there
and two hours back, and so we won't make it
in time for the little kid class, other than otherwise
they'd be doing. Yeah, I guess. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
Now, a lot of crazy stuff's happening in the combat
sports world over the last few months. I know you
said you don't necessarily follow the UFC, but I don't
know if you heard that. Former champion Sean Strickland got
suspended because he was cornering one of his guys at
a tough enough event and him and another fighter decided
it was a good idea after his fighter lost to

(23:45):
store in the cage because they didn't like what was
being said to them after the fighter loss. And you know,
Sean has received six months suspension. I've seen some crazy
things in the combat sports world, but watching two high
level fighter storm of cage at a at an amateur
event is probably was not on my Bengo car for

(24:07):
for two for twenty twenty five?

Speaker 3 (24:09):
Was that? Did you hear about that? One and two?
Is that?

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Is that one of the strangest things you've heard come
out out of this year out of combat sports?

Speaker 2 (24:20):
I definitely find it hilarious. But no, I haven't heard
anything I haven't Like I said, Man, I'm I'm on
my social media and I follow some Brey Knuckle and
then I'm mom kids training that that's my life. But
I can say that I.

Speaker 4 (24:42):
Have a little Sean Strickland in me, you know what
I'm saying. I can't say that.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
The one thing I think a lot of people love
about Sean is there's no filter. You know how he thinks,
how he feels. It's never it's never a question. We
know how Sean thinks, we know how strong feels, and
we know he ain't scared to tell tell us about it.
I think that genuine part of who he is, I
think is why a lot of people do like him.

(25:09):
That's a lot of reasons why probably people hate him too.
But yeah, I think he might have took it just
a weep bit too far in that one. Listen, I
don't care what anyone says to you when you're co whatever,
you know.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
Outside of sitting there saying I have your family captured.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
In my basement, I don't think there's anything that someone
could say that in that setting to make me want
to storm the cage.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
So but yeah, I really do generally.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Enjoy a lot of stuff Sean says. I don't support,
you know, all of his beliefs or anything like that,
but I think he is a very rare human being
and that there should be more like him in that
sense of speaking his mind, being.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
Truthful to tell the world where he stands on things.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
Yeah, you gottasche like that for sure.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
Absolutely. Now the reason why I was asking do you
file things?

Speaker 2 (26:06):
So?

Speaker 3 (26:06):
Did you did you hear what rampage Son did last night?

Speaker 4 (26:10):
Nope?

Speaker 5 (26:12):
Okay, what little video if you don't mind indulging me
for about two minutes, right, Okay, let's Quentin rampage Son
got got into a little thing earlier in the week.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
He was sparring and somebody did a spinning head kick
and he was clearly concussed. Right, So apparently he went
to a wrestling event and there's some things that were
going on. I'm gonna play this little video kind of
shows you what happened beforehand and the aftermath of.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
What what what what? What?

Speaker 1 (26:42):
What Roger did at the wrestling event. It's it was
quite quite disturbing. So I'm gonna just play this for
you and then your reaction, you don't know.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
Yeah, that was he's not a worker, bro? Know yeah?

Speaker 4 (27:03):
What what the was?

Speaker 3 (27:04):
That was that?

Speaker 4 (27:07):
You know, say he's not what?

Speaker 3 (27:11):
Then was hold on, I don't play that ship. No
I will. I know, I know you will. I will
fuck him up. Bro, I don't play that ship. No,
I will fuck him up.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
I know you will.

Speaker 6 (27:27):
You So.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Obviously, you know, quin Quintin did make a comment basically saying, uh,
he didn't he condone what his son did, nor did
he condone him being involved in any type of situation
after after being rocked and training earlier this week. Obviously,
the man hit hitting hitting Roger with a with a

(28:30):
whatever Beverers. That was whether it was a soda or
a cane of beer prior to the them sitting there
saying well, they were basically told.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
He was basically told. After that situation was broken up,
he can handle that in ring.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
Obviously, Roderick, that a little bit too far and a
little bit more seriously than.

Speaker 4 (28:49):
Light a heart man.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
And obviously, being.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
You know, a pro wrestling fan, you know, you're good,
You're you're you know a lot of fans do like
some good shoots.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
You know, and and and things like that. But that
was another thing.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Uh, I don't know where Rod goes.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
I don't know. I know that the guy was hospitalized.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
He's okay, But man, man, there's sometimes you don't play
with people, and this.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
Is the Yeah, man, why why'd you do that?

Speaker 2 (29:26):
Man?

Speaker 1 (29:26):
I don't know if he was just trying to rot
Rale rale Quinton's son up there or anything like that.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
But like I said that, there's some sometimes I.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
Mean, I give him being pissed, you know what I'm saying, strikes.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
Though, man, Yeah, he.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
Couldn't probably for the slam, you know what I'm saying,
Just stop right there, like that's enough, You're good, you
got him.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
But yeah, now I'm gonna go to this. Are you
a fan of the M.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
M A wrestling kind of crossover type thing, like obviously
we watched brock Lands and kind of bounced back and
forth between M M A and UH in the w
W for the better part of fifteen years or so.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
But I think there's sometimes like we were, I think the.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
M M A athlete doesn't have any business in pro wrestling,
and I think, yeah, I think this is one of
those things where he shouldn't have been at this event.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
He's not. He's meant to be in a case with
referees and rules because you know, man, his daddy was
was was a was a band mofo. So I'm pretty
sure it runs in the jeans and man, that was
just I mean, it was it was.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
It was tough to see, but I could also see
where Roger is coming from to like when you're when
somebody busts can upsides your head.

Speaker 3 (30:53):
Ring and handle it, you didn't. They didn't put a
limit on what he could or couldn't do.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
So yeah, there's gotta be guard rails for for men
like mister Jackson there.

Speaker 4 (31:03):
So oh yeah, I give him the whole set of rules.
You can't leave nothing out.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
I mean, like we've seen crazy stuff, did you see?

Speaker 1 (31:15):
Like I said, I don't know how big of a
sports fan you are, but a few months ago, former
NFL superstar uh Adrian Peterson was at a was at
like a poker tournament.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
That's that's a thing that he does, and he does a.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Lot, a lot of a lot of poker stuff, and
there was an altercation between him and a guy and
apparently they're gonna go and do some type of celebrity
boxing and they're gonna actually have a fight.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
Here here in Philadelphia. So this is what I'm talking about.
We're in spectacle combat sports right now. I don't know
if it's a good thing.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
The bad thing, but it's definitely an interesting time where
you can literally watch combats every.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
Sport man.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
I mean, how we're you know, we're.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
We're you know, uh, you know, ten months away from
a potential uh UFC at the White House.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
Yeah, you know, obviously, you know you you know, you have.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
You know, good fighters like John Jones, who still wants
to hold onto one more fight apparently.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
Re entered it as soon as they made that announcement.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
He re entered the testing pool to kind of so
he has an opportunity to potentially have a fight there.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
But it's a I think it would be a fun event.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
I mean, be one of a kind of event, regardless
of who's in the White House or anything like that.
That that means absolutely nothing to me. If you're an
m M A fan having an event at at at
the White House. I think there's two things you absolutely
need to do if I'm if I'm involved in it,

(33:05):
right like, if I'm the matchmaker, I'm part of the UFC,
you have to have a lot of a lot of
English and American fighters just because it's fourth of July. Yeah,
first and foremost that that is a must right there.
Oh yeah, But like there's certain I think you're gonna

(33:27):
have to bring all the all the stars out for
this one. I think you you entertain bringing some of
these these veterans who who have either retired or haven't
really been competing a long time. I'd love to see
somebody like like a Chail Sun And fight, Ronda Rawsi
fight something like that.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
I think you you, yes, you have your contracted, you
have to bring all out for this event. If I
this is me though, I feel like that too.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
Is that the way I have man, the best of
the best, you know America, Like.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Yeah, especially fourth of July at the White House. Like, listen,
we have to have English versus American fighters on that card.
There has to be at least a handful of them.
That's all I'm gonna say. Yeah, I mean, we're gonna
it's gonna be the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary, right
then we.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
Have we have to do that.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
We have to do this.

Speaker 4 (34:30):
Not with man.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
Now, one thing I like to do before before we
wrap wrap it up. You know again, I know you're
you're you file things in your in your own way.
And and do you have like a mount rushmore of
athletes that you know.

Speaker 3 (34:47):
You think uh like that either inspired you or whatever?

Speaker 1 (34:53):
You do you have a do you have your mount
rushmore of of of of combat sports athletes that that
you know you think are special?

Speaker 2 (35:04):
Well, I guess we'll stick to Baron Knuckle. I follow
Christine Ferrer pretty you know close.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
I like her.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
He's the o G goat at this point in time, Man,
I know.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Who not to look to, but to the best. You know,
I'm looking speaking up. I'm looking forward to that five
between her and Borga.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
That was why I was gonna go with this. I
I have followed both of their careers a lot.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
I used to interview Christina a lot before she came
to Bare Knuckle when no one was paying attention to
which she was on the Lion's fight cars and just
doing the kickboxing. So extremely glad that that she was
able to kind of make her own niche in the
in the female side of Bare Knuckle that she is

(35:53):
without a doubt, she's, you know, they're having them fight
for the you know, the baddest woman on the planet. Well,
she is the baddest woman inside of Bare Knuckle as
we speak right at this moment.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
Now.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
Jessica borg another one, you know. You know, I've been
following her since her amateur career and she is legit
probably one of the toughest and biggest challenges that Christina
is gonna gonna fight to date. And that's not taking
anything away from from brit That's not not taking anything away.

Speaker 3 (36:23):
From Beck Rowlins or anyone else. So she's fault. She's
going She's going She's going up a weight class one.
Jessica is going down to thirty five.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
They're gonna fight for that Queen of Violence title, and
she is going to be the biggest challenge she has,
regardless of experience or whatever.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
And that is what I'm gonna say.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
As far as as far as that fight, that is
the literal oil and water can't mixed fight of the
century because they just have personalities that that don't get along.

Speaker 4 (36:54):
I am so excited for that.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
It's going to be insane. It's gonna be in the
backyard here and Jersey the Crudential Center.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
I think it's like October fourth, But that is a
fight to watch if if you are a fan of
not just combat sports but but but bare knuckle in general,
that is a must see watch.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
Oh, I'm gonna be tuning in for sure. I'm gonna
be watching.

Speaker 3 (37:21):
I can't blame you there. Christina is you know, is
the baddest woman on the planet right now, and Jessica just.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
Recently, uh won the inaugural FI I'm looking to see
if if either Jessica can add to her her repertoire. Obviously,
you know, she's the bigger, stronger fighter when it comes
down to it, And.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
We'll see what happens in in a few months. But
that is that is probably one of the more exciting female.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Combat sports fights that I've heard book this year, outside
of what we're going to see, uh hopefully in a
few months with Amane and Nona is coming out of
retirement fighting Kayla Harris, who's the two time Olympic World
champion in judo. So I think outside of those two fights,
those are probably the two biggest combat sports fights that

(38:15):
are happening right now.

Speaker 4 (38:20):
Oh yeah, for sure, I'm excited for both of them.
I'm ready to see a man to come back.

Speaker 3 (38:25):
Yeah. That should that should be That should be a
fun fight.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
She's a she is, you know, arguably the biggest woman
in MMA, especially at you know, one hundred.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
And thirty five and forty five pounds, So uh, looking
forward to that fight.

Speaker 1 (38:39):
You know, I think the more interesting thing is they
used to be they used to be teammates at America
Top Team when when Kayla first started breaking into the sports, So.

Speaker 3 (38:49):
You know, there's some familiarity there obviously.

Speaker 4 (38:51):
So uh that's gonna make it a better fight probably.

Speaker 3 (38:56):
I think it makes it a more a more fun fight.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
So but.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
Before we wrap it up again, gott to bring it
up again, people, you know, we're obviously talking about some
big fights here. Do not miss when when when Miss
Clark is gonna be stepping in there with feeless Monica Franco.
I've already said it on here.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
I do think. I don't care who else is on
that card right now. This is my if I'm a
bet man, if there was, if there was you know
a way to bet on it. I bet that these two.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
Women are gonna be the fight of the night when
everything's send them September twenty seventh.

Speaker 4 (39:32):
Hell yeah, we could throw down, man, I'm excited.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
What I always do here at the end is kind
of throw the proverbial platform microphone over to you. Anyone
you would like to thank, training partners, teammates, shoot out
your social media sites, any sponsors you have, anyone you
would like to thank it all, any messages that you

and everybody knows who y'all are. So thank you, love you, friends, family, fans.

Speaker 4 (40:27):
Let's go to New York get it done.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
Again.

Speaker 4 (40:31):
I'm a little awkward, man, I'm like the real Will Ferrell.
I don't know what to do with my hands, you know, and.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
And firing. We don't know what to do with our bodies.
Sometimes it's all right, Jessica, we're gonna have to be
the weird ones.

Speaker 4 (40:52):
Yeah, somebody's got to do it.

Speaker 3 (40:54):
Might as well be me.

Speaker 1 (40:54):
Man, Well, I said, oh my gosh, you know, you know,
best of skill for you for September twenty seventh. Hopefully,
Like I said, I'm rooting for both of you guys
to have a great fight. I got love for Monica.
I always I always.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
Try to be as neutral as I can when when
I do these and show love to everybody.

Speaker 4 (41:17):
And that's the little thing because everybody I'm here working.

Speaker 3 (41:21):
Man, how hot is it down there right now? I
gotta ask you, so you're in Texas?

Speaker 4 (41:26):
How how does that it's hot and sticky right now?
Very just had some rain so it's extra human.

Speaker 3 (41:34):
Oh yeah, it's always great kicking it up, kicking up
some more there, but appreciate your time.

Speaker 1 (41:42):

anything like that for you or your opponent. You guys

Speaker 4 (42:10):

Speaker 1 (42:12):
Problem, all right everyone. That was Jessica the Killer Clark.
She is going to be making her Bare Knuckle debut
September twenty seventh there in New York at BYB forty six.

Speaker 3 (42:28):

more than than three quarters of the way to that goal.
