Hello, Hello, Hello, thankyou, thank you for joining The Relevancy
Factor, a Veronda Bellamy inspired podcast. Hello, Hello, Hello, it's
Veronda Brooks Bellamy chiming in. Guys. I want to welcome you to the
Relevancy Factor Suite, a Veronda BellamyInspired Podcast. Guys, Look, it's
(00:20):
been a while since I've released anew podcast to you all, and today
it's going to be a little bitdifferent. I have a scripture that's been
really really sitting with me since i'veread it, and there's actually a couple
of verses that I'm going to speakto you, guys, But for this
particular episode, I just want youto sit back and just listen as usual,
(00:45):
right, but really receive the messagefrom God. And I'm coming from
the Book of Job. If youhaven't read Job, it's all about his
life and the things that he was. Pretty much his life was turned upside
down. The enemy decided to basicallyhave Job try to get Job to sin
(01:06):
against God, and God of courseallowed it to happen. But where we
find out in the scripture that orin the book that Job never never sinned
against God. So he went througha lot, he lost a lot,
his family, his possessions and allof that. And so the message I'm
(01:26):
bringing to you is actually going tocome from Job thirty eight through the first
verse of Job forty, and it'swhen God begins to speak. So this
is titled and God speaks, Areyou ready? And I'm coming from the
(01:47):
Message version of the Bible, notthe King James version, but the message
version. And he goes and nowfinally God answered Job from the eye of
a violent storm, and he said, why do you confuse the issue?
(02:08):
Why do you talk without knowing whatyou're talking about? Pull yourself together,
Job, up on your feet, stand tall. I have some questions for
you, and I want some straightanswers. Where were you when I created
the earth? Tell me, sinceyou know so much, who decided on
(02:31):
its size? Certainly you'll know that. Who came up with the blueprints and
measurements. How was its foundation poured? Who set the cornerstone while the morning
stars singing in chorus and all theangels shouted praise? And who took charge
of the ocean when it gushed forthlike a baby from the womb that was
(02:57):
me? I wrapped it and sawclouds and tucked it in a safely at
night, then I made a playpenfor it, a strong playplan so it
couldn't run loose, and said stayhere, this is your place. Your
wild tantrums are confined to this place. And have you ever ordered morning,
(03:17):
get up till dawn, get towork, so you could seize earth like
a blanket and shake out the wicketlike cockroaches? As the sun brings everything
to light, brings out all thecolors and shapes, the cover of darkness
is snatched from the wicked. They'recaught in the very act. Have you
(03:38):
ever gotten to the true bottom ofthings? Explored the Lebrethine caves of deep
ocean? Do you know the firstthing about death? Do you have one
clue regarding death's dark mysteries? Anddo you have any idea how large this
earth is? Speak up if youhave the beginning of an answer. Do
(04:01):
you know where light comes from andwhere darkness lives? So you can take
them by the hand and lead themhome when they get lost? Why?
Of course you know that you've knownthem all your life, grown up in
the same neighborhood with them. Haveyou ever traveled to where snow is made,
seen the vault where hell is stockpiled? The arsenals of hell and snow
(04:25):
that I keep in readiness for timesof trouble, in battle and war?
Can you find your way to wherelightning is launched, or to the place
from which the wind blows? Whodo you suppose carves canyons for the downpours
of rain and charts the route ofthunderstorms that bring water to unvisited fields deserts.
(04:45):
No one ever lays eyes on drenchingthe useless wastelands, so they're captured
with wildflowers and grass. And whodo you think is the father of rain
and dew, the mother of iceand frost? You don't for a min
imagine these marbles of weather just happen. Do you? Can you catch the
eye of the beautiful Playlaid's sisters,or distract orient from his hunt? Can
(05:11):
you get Venus to look your way? Or get the great bear in her
cubs to come out and play?Do you know the first thing about the
sky's constellations and how they affect thingson earth? Can you get the attention
of the clouds and commission a showerof rain? Can you take charge of
the lightning bolts and have the reportto you for orders? Who do you
(05:32):
think gave weather wisdom to the ibbisand the storm savvy to the rooster?
Does anyone know enough to number allthe clouds or tip over the rain barrels
of heaven when the earth is crackedand dry, the ground baked as hard
as a break? Can you teachthe lioness to stark her prey and satisfy
(05:56):
the appetite of cubs as they crouchin their dim waiting hungrily in their cave?
And who sets out food for theravens when they're young crod of God
fluttering about because they have no food? Do you know the month when mountain
goats give birth? Have you everwatched a doe bear her fawn? Do
(06:17):
you know how many months she ispregnant? Do you know the season of
her delivery? When she crouches downand drops off her offspring? Her young
ones flourish and are soon on theirown. They leave and don't come back.
Who do you think set the wilddonkey free, open the coral gates
and let them go. I gavehim the whole wilderness to Roman, the
(06:40):
rolling plains and wide open places. He laughs at his city cousins who are
harnessed and harried. He's oblivious tothe cries of teamsters. He grazes freely
through the hills, nibbling everything that'sgreen. Will the wild buffalo condescend to
deserve you volunteer to spend a nightin your barn? Can you imagine hitching
(07:03):
your plow to a buffalo and gettinghim to tell your fields? He's hugely
strong, Yes, but could youtrust him? Would you dare turn the
job over to him? You wouldn'tfor a minute depend on him? Would
you to do what you said whenyou said it? The ostrich flaps her
wings beautially, all those beautiful feathers, but useless. She lays her eggs
(07:29):
on her on the hard ground, leaves them there in the dirt, exposed
to the weather, not caring thatthey might get stepped on and cracked or
trampled by some wild animal. She'snegligent with her young, as if they
weren't even hers. She cares nothingabout anything. She wasn't created very smart,
that's for sure, wasn't given hershare of good sense. But when
(07:51):
she runs, oh how she runs, laughing, leaving horse and rider in
the dust. Are you the onewho gave the horse his prowess? And
adorned him with the shimmering mane.Did you create him to prance proudly and
strike terror with his royal snorts? His pause the ground fiercely? He paused
(08:13):
the ground fiercely, eager and spirited, then charges into the fray. He
laughs at danger, fearless, doesn'tshy away from the sword. The banging
and clanging of quiver lance don't FaZehim. He quivers with excitement, and
at the trumpet blast, races offat a gallop. At the sound of
the trumpet, he neighs mightily, smelling the excitement of battle from long way
(08:39):
off, catching the rolling thunder ofthe war cries. Was it through your
know how that the hawk learned tofly, soaring effortlessly on thermal updrafts?
Did you command the eagle's flight andteach her to build her nest in the
heights, perfectly at home on thehigh cliff face and vulnerable on pinnacle and
(09:03):
crag. From her perk, shesearches for prey spots it at a great
distance. Her young gorge themselves on. Carry on wherever there's a roadkill,
you'll see her circling. Now,what do you have to say for yourself?
(09:30):
This is Job chapters thirty eight, thirty nine, and the first verse
of forty. I hope this resonateswith you. I hope it blesses you.
(09:50):
So often in life we have somuch coming at us and we don't
know which way to turn. AndI believe God wanted me to share this
because so many of us have forgottenGod. Job went through this entire book.
(10:16):
This is towards the end of thebook of Job, and he was
challenged on every end. His friendsbetrayed him, talked about him. And
I recall in Job where he talksto one of his friends and he's telling
them, look, I don't carewhat you have to say. Surely if
(10:37):
God searched my heart, he wouldknow my heart and thoughts are pure.
His friend was coming at him andaccusing him of all these things and making
him, you know, basically gettinghim to question his relationship with God and
saying that he wasn't a true manof God and just couldn't make sense of
(11:01):
how God wasn't speaking to him.Where was God? He proclaimed? Where
is God? In all that hewas going through? And it wasn't until
the end that God spoke, Andhe spoke everything that I've just shared with
(11:28):
you. So whatever you're faced with, whatever you're going through, I want
you to challenge yourself to find thechapter or book in the Bible and begin
to meditate on that book or thosescriptures or that verse, whatever it is
(11:50):
for you, and to begin tomake this a daily habit. Because the
God who created the heavens and theearth, who decided where the snow would
be, and who holds up therain and all of that you and me
(12:16):
he's created. He challenges us tosay, now, if you can think
like him, and if you arethe person who created all of this,
then I'll wait for your answer. My God, God is a bad man.
(12:39):
He's a powerful man. He's anawe knowing man. He's worthy of
all the praise. So if youcan find it within yourself to humble yourself,
thank you God, and think aboutall all the things that He's created.
(13:03):
How even things that aren't the smarteststill has purpose. God created you
with your purpose in mind, withhis purpose for you in mind. So
I want you to really think aboutthis and play it back, share it,
(13:24):
share it out, because in thisGod reminded me of who he really
was. I pray that this messagewill add an increase to your life,
your spiritual walk, your relationship withChrist, your relationship with others. That
(13:52):
you will begin to experience God ina way that maybe you've never experienced him
before. That he will speak, speak to you, and you will hear
him and obey. So God,we thank you for your word. We
thank you for you sitting high andlooking low. We thank you for all
(14:16):
the wonders that you've created, allthe things that you've blessed us with,
Father God, all the trials thatyou've allowed us to endure, all the
tests that we've overcome, all thefinancial woes that may have come our way.
God, we thank you, Lord. We thank you for your living
(14:37):
and breathing word. Father God.We thank you God that you continue to
watch over us. Father God,We thank you God that you are patient
enough with us, God in ourmess to still care enough to provide us
with grace and mercy. And wethank you for your grace and mercy.
(15:00):
We thank you for your unwavering love, God, your unconditional support, Father
God, your sweet holy Spirit. We thank you for our brother Jesus.
Lord, we just praise you becauseyou are worthy what I asks. That
(15:20):
you will touch everyone that listens tothis, God, that you will go
into their minds, into their hearts, Father God, and their spirit men
will be quickened to move, thatthey won't be the same, Father God,
that they will hear your words andthey will act. In the name
(15:45):
of Jesus Lord, I just thankyou for how you continue to trust me
and lead me, and for everyonethat listens, how you will bless them
and enlarge their territories. I thankyou be ahead of protection around us all
(16:15):
and our comings and our goings. We thank you God, and we love
you. It's in the matchless nameof Jesus the Christ that I pray.
Amen, Amen and Amen. So, guys, hey, this hit me.
