calling. I know, I know, I know, I know this sounds
juvenile, but listen, there arepsychological facts of how name calling does many
thoughts stopping effects on one's self esteem. The evidence is that it isn't just

what happens to us, but alsohow we criticize ourselves for what happened to
us that leads to adverse psychological effects. The adverse effects of name calling and
or verbal demoralization oftentimes presents itself intherapy sessions, and for many it actually

is the culprit of what brings themin for therapy. With me, name
calling has lasting psychological implications like symptomsof anxiety, depression, substance use and
dependence, panic disorders, social anxiety, eating disorders, personality disorders which is

a mood disorder, and inability tobear child and unhealthy relationships. Yeah,
name calling constantly name calling effects orconstant name calling effects one psyche. Actually,
sometimes it's just not that the physicalact of name calling, but the

implied behavior. So if someone tellsyou you that you're stupid or you're dumb,
then guess what. Over time youwill begin to actually believe what that
person has said to you. Action, do speak louder than words. Be

careful with what you say and howyou say. What you say to everyone,
not just a select fore you,not just you know, your best
friend or your boo, but todistrive to treat everyone actually the same.
Although someone may act as though yourwords and or actions. Don't bother them

know that they do. There isan impact if you have to retreat to
name calling. If you have todo that for twenty twenty one and beyond,

Because we can also be very negativetowards ourselves. Seek guidance if you're feeling

Oftentimes, the name calling is aresult of negative self esteem or self
worth within yourself, so asking yourselfwho has hurt me or made me feel

this way before? Can be insurmountable. Asking yourself how did I respond?
How did my thoughts change about myselfafter that experience? Now I know that
negative words have negative impacts, nowthat you are aware of that and you

have been, but maybe this podcastis actually impacting you a little bit different.
Thinking about how someone has treated youin a past, or what someone
has said to you or done toyou in a past. I want you
to also act yourself. How doI seek to avoid this from happening with

those I love, and how doI express and extend the same grace to
myself. Again, some of thisrequires some processing with a professional and seek
help if you need it. Normalizeaccepting others for who they are. We

can't change people, We have toaccept people. Another topic in no name
calling is cyberbullian. This is notonly for adults. So we see trolls
constantly online. There's not much tosay about them but to actually block them.
But sometimes this bullion is in theform of someone you may know or

someone that you've had a bad experiencewith. People will result to whatever they
have learned to make themselves feel betterabout themselves. For me personally, I
actually ignore them and I block themif necessary. They get no reaction for
me whatsoever. We want to doeverything we can guys to maintain our peace,

becomeing less self critical and more selfcompassionate. That's actually associated with the
following, so ye a greater perceiveabilityto cope with life, improvement in distress,
improvement in well being and reduce psychologicaldistress, improvement and depression, improvement
in social anxiety, improvement in panicdisorder. Furthermore, some research actually has

shown that it is the reduction inself criticism that predicts the improvement in distress
and improvement in personality process symptoms.So you guys have heard the same before.
Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words or hurt me.

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm.
