Seth Cox.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Hellos are the Cardinals fans and welcome to the latest
edition of the Rise Up Sereed podcast, The Best are
of Cardinals Talk on the Web. I'm your host Jess
Root from Cardswire dot com, USA Today's NFL Wire side
the covers, Ears and the Cardinals in episode seven hundred
and three and our third show of the week.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
Three shows in two days.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Pretty much as the Cardinals and the Seahawks play Thursday night,
so we as the As the Cardinals and the Seahawks
had to truncate their week and things into a short
amount of time, so has the show. Seth and I
did our review of the Cardinals forty nine Ers game.
Seth and I did our preview, pick some predictions for
this game, and this show is our opponent preview.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
We've got friend of.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
The show, Cole Muskgrove, Managing ever editor over at Seahawks Wire,
my sister's site, The USA Today NFL wire set that
covers the Seattle Seahawks is the Seahawks come to town. Cole,
welcome back to the show. I hope I'll be able
to get you on, you know, later on in the year.
And basically you are. You're as close to a regular
(01:34):
now as you can be.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
Well, I am honored about that. Thank you for having me, Jess.
It's always a pleasure. As always to the listeners, I
apologize if you hear the sounds of I five in
the background.
Speaker 5 (01:47):
I am currently on my way to watch a little
bit of Mariners baseball.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Watched the maybe clinch the division for the first time
in twenty four years. So the vibes in the city
of Seattle vibes and city of Seattle are very good
right now, say that.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
And and vibes are kind of what I want to
talk because we preview this this week four matchup on
Thursday Night Football. As it's important to note, Seattle has
had the Cardinals number in a in a series that
was pretty much even at five hundred or even number
of wins was right about five hundred for each team.
The Seahawks have won the last seven matchups and have
(02:26):
done so convincingly. Now part of that is we wonder
if it's Gino Smith. G know Smith went six to
oher against the Cardinals. Jonathan Gannon has not beaten the
Seahawks in two season as head coach. But as we
were saying off there, and I said on the previous show,
is that this game features two teams like if you
if you hadn't followed them, So if you're on the outside,
(02:49):
you look at these two teams, they're two and one.
They've played two opponents, two common opponents in the in
the Saints and the four forty nine ers. Their only
loss has come in a in a low scoring affair,
basically last minute end of game victory from against the
(03:11):
Settle against the San Francisco forty nine ers. And yet
if you're paying attention to these teams, especially here, the
vibes tell a very different story. And the vibes are
all about positivity and hope with the Seattle Seahawks, especially
with the way that they've been scoring points the last
couple of weeks, while the Cardinals and their slow and
(03:36):
plotty offense so far this season, it feels like the
sky is falling in that we're on the verge of
the season falling apart. Never mind, we're two and oh one,
just like the Seahawks, with the only loss coming to
the same team. It's just that feels very two different directions.
How does it feel for Seahawks fans right now?
Speaker 4 (03:58):
Well, it's always you know, it's always kind of I'll
go back to baseball for example. You know, you have
a three game series, it always feels better to win
the last game of the series, no matter what you
can go. You know, you win the first two, you
lose the third one. Somehow that feels worse than if
you lose the first two and you win the third one.
That's just kind of how our our monkey brains are.
We always like to go based off what we've seen
(04:20):
last Seattle. Like I mentioned earlier, baseball vibes are great.
The Seahawks. You know, they started off with that low scoring,
disappointing lost to the forty nine Ers, but since then
they've had back to back convincing wins. You know, we'll
go thirty one seventeen over the Steelers in Pittsburgh and
then just an absolute hasting of the Saints on Sunday
(04:45):
forty four to thirteen. One of the largest margins of
victory in the last decade for Seahawks football. I'll say this,
the twelfth Man is very excited for Thursday Night. Obviously,
the recent history between the Cardinals and the Sea Hawks
being decidedly in Seattle's favor as his factoring in here
the excitement. But yeah, it is certainly good vibes only
(05:10):
in the Emerald City.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
So in terms of statistical things, they are number two
in points allowed, only given a fifteen point seven a game.
They're fifth in scoring at twenty nine point three points
per game. Granted they came against you got forty four
against the Saints team that was pretty scrappy for the
first two weeks of the year. They played the Cardinals tough,
(05:33):
they played the forty nine ers tough, and I think
they finally what a start to the year for them.
They have to play Cardinals, forty nine ers Seahawks and
next week they play the Bills, where this weekend they
play the Bills. That Saints team has no hope.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
Someone in the NFL scheduling department hates New Orleans.
Speaker 5 (05:49):
That's the only explanation.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
That is crazy. That's crazy talk.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
But I will say this, I know that they that
they beat the Seahawks the Steelers by fourteen points. There
was some flukiness to that, and it was wasn't it
a closer game than it ended up being because of
that that crazy kickoff that they the Steelers just didn't
pick up. And yeah, that was one grabs in the
(06:18):
end zone for a touchdown. I've never heard of anything
like that in my entire life.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Yeah, the game, the game was certainly a lot closer
than the final score to indicate the Seahawks just really
ran away with it or the Steelers melted down, choose
your narrative. It was fourteen fourteen. Aaron Rodgers threw an
interception basically at the goal line in the end zone,
a very athletic interception from Darien Kendrick, who I'm sure
didn't didn't he end the cardinal season last year for
(06:44):
the Rams, similar situation, And then so it's got a
field goal, and then of course there was the fluky
special team's touchdown meated two twenty four or fourteen. At
that point, Steelers offense just did not have the fire
by to keep up with Seattle's defense. So there there
certainly was some flukiness. But after that turning point, the
(07:06):
Seahawks have found uh that extra gas pedal.
Speaker 5 (07:10):
They have just been cruising ever since they have.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Now in terms of their offense, what is going right
because the run game as I'm looking at, the run
game has not been particularly efficient. It has That's that's
the one thing where like, huh three point three yards
per Carrie that's not ideal. So is it really has
(07:39):
it been the Sam Donald show so far? Or better said,
has it been? I guess it's been the Jackson Smith
and Jigma show so far.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
So far, it has definitely been the Sam Donald the
JASN show. These two have a strong connection. Jaysn has
just been an absolute unstoppable force in the passing attack.
It was something ridiculous, you know, Week one, Sam Darnald
only had one hundred and fifty passing yards and one
hundred and twenty four of them were to JSN. Just
(08:07):
something just astronomical like that. So that is certainly the
number one thing going well. Jackson Smith Jigua has certainly
proven himself to being a bona fide number one receiver.
That was certainly one of the question marks going into
the season. You know, he had a breakout year last year.
Was some of that defense is focusing on DK Metcalf
(08:29):
through three weeks. I mean, plenty of time left in
the season, but through three weeks it looks like we
have a definitive answer.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
Yes, he is a bona fide number one receiver.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
Other things going well quite frankly, Sam Darnald is looking
exactly as advertised. Is he lighting up the stat sheet
the way he is in Minnesota? No, but the offense
isn't really requiring him to do that. He needs to
be like a point guard, just distributing the ball to
the playmakers. With what he's doing with Jayson and Cooper.
Cut had a very nice game as well in Week two,
(09:00):
playing cold efficient football.
Speaker 5 (09:02):
He's doing everything the offense asked.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
He's not going for the hero ball play, he's not,
you know, trying to make the highlight reel win MVP.
He's just doing exactly what aston has been pretty refreshing
to see. As far as the ground game goes, that
has certainly been a disappointment.
Speaker 5 (09:19):
I'll quote Mike McDonald three point six yards per carry.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Now, we're close to good enough, and I think everyone
in the Northwest would agree.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
But it's not for lack of trying.
Speaker 4 (09:28):
I mean the Seahawks, you know, gave the ball carriers
thirty three total touches against the Saints. You know, it's
not you know, not getting the job done. Only eighty
seven yards I believe on the ground. But I think overall,
over the course of the seasons are going to get
that figured out. I would much rather have a team
that still heavily commits to the run and struggles to
(09:49):
get it done, rather than what we had last year,
which was, well, we're not really running. We're just going
to quickly abandon it by the second quarter and get.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
The most one dimensional offense ever seen.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
And that takes us to the to the defensive side
of the ball, where I'm noticing that it would appear
that after a very quiet rookie year, iiron Murphy looks good.
Oh yeah, tell tell me about what what Murphy's been
doing so far, because the numbers say two and a
half sacks, five quarterback hits, two tackles for loss, and
(10:23):
that and more importantly, that that defensive interior is being
very good. You've got five quarterback hits from from Murphy,
from Mutter Williams, from Jaron Reid. But it looks like
Murphy's made a really big second year jump.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
Murphy was my pick at the beginning of the season
or early in the season, when you know, we had
that exercise with all the other NFL wire editors, you know,
give the one candidate for a breakout season.
Speaker 5 (10:48):
His was the one I picked. Last year. He was
better than the stats would have indicated. And that's always
kind of.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
The case for defensive tackles, right, you know, what they
do and their impact in the game is rarely measure
by just sack.
Speaker 5 (11:02):
Numbers or tackle numbers. It's how well are you creating pressure?
Speaker 4 (11:06):
How well are you just eating up blocks so somebody
else can make a play. And last year I thought
Murphy played a lot better then the numbers might indicate.
But it always felt like he was just a split
second behind, you know, not that he's getting blown away,
but like he was half second away from a sack,
half second away from a really big tackle for a loss.
(11:30):
And it just kind of felt like, Okay, this is
a young man getting his footing in the NFL. Another
year you know, under his belt, another year under Mike
McDonald's system, more coaching, understanding what this league is and
what offensive linemen are like in this league. I figured
he was going to have a breakout year, and so
far the three games that seems to be the case.
(11:50):
He is making up that gap for that split second
that would have been you know, quarterback got away versus
him getting a sack or half a sack, or him
making you know, a tremendous impact on the game.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
And it has been an absolute delight to see.
Speaker 4 (12:06):
As a former defensive lineman myself, I have a particular
affinity for defensive tackles and what they can do to
the game.
Speaker 5 (12:13):
So it feels real good.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
Watching the Seahawks have a dominant defensive front once again.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
And they've continued at least to start the year with
their after last year it's the first half of the
season with a run defense was very questionable. The run
defense continues to be very good since Ernest Jones was
inserted the lineup. That continues to be the case. Or
have there been any other standouts through the first three
(12:40):
games that are worth mentioning, Well.
Speaker 4 (12:42):
It can't go any further than mentioning rookie wide receive
Victoria Morton fell.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
All the way to the Seahawks in the fifth round.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
Had some health issues kind of coming out of college
right now it looks like those are behind him.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
He's had three touchdowns in the last two games.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
You know, one of those was a punt return touchdown,
making him only the third Seahawks ever to have a
punt return and wider receiving touchdown in the same game.
He's set a franchise record for a ninety five yard
punt return, longest in franchise history, and was the first
Seahawks since rookie Tyler Lockett in Week one of the
(13:18):
twenty fifteen season against the then Saint Louis Rams to
have a punt return touchdown. He was the darling of
training camp and it's very evident why he has become
an absolute X factor in these last two weeks.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
The next one the res of hered podcast. The best
are Cardinals Talking the Web.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Let's move on and talk about this game, keys, matchups,
things that matter in this game that's coming to next one.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Rise Ups he read.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
We're back on the rise of hereIt podcast best are
Cardinals Talk on the Web Talk and Nicole musk Grove
from the Seahawks Wire. Let's now go to this matchup
kind of things that are that if the Seahawks are
going to win this game. How do you see that
playing out? What are sort of their keys to beating
the Cardinals.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
Keys to beating this meeting the Cardinals is one, don't
let Kyler Murray runner all over. That's the matchup I
am most excited to see is how well this defensive
line goes against a quarterback who is a little more sportly,
a little more nimble.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
Quick on his feet.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Because while the defensive line has looked outstanding, they faced
Rock Purty, seventy five year old Aaron Rodgers and Spencer Rattler,
who's what to nine now as a starter. So it
hasn't exactly been Hall of Fame caliber.
Speaker 5 (14:36):
U aside from Aaron Rodgers has done the past, not
what he is.
Speaker 4 (14:39):
Today version, not Hall of Fame eraon this version of
Aaron Rodgers should have retired three years ago. But yes,
uh they're not. They're not going against current Hall of
Fame caliber quarterbacks. And while you know, I don't know
if that necessarily applies to Kyler Murray, he's certainly a
much more dynamic athlete than anything the Seahawks are faced
to this point the season. So I'm certainly very curious
(15:01):
to see how they will, you know, actually handle, someone
who can run away from sacks, someone who can get
out of sticky situations. So I think big key of
the game is they gotta find they gotta make life miserable.
For number one, they have to just generate pressure, force
him off his rhythm, not allow him to make plays
on his feet. Number two, they have to get the
(15:24):
ground game going. The Cardinals defense has been really good
so far in the season. I think that's been certainly
a little bit of a surprise for me. I guess
it shouldn't be, given that Jonathan Gannon's a more defensive
minded coach, but it's probably gonna be a stiffer competition
that they face. Will certainly get the Saints. They gotta
get the They gotta get the ground game going. Otherwise
(15:45):
it just gets two one dimensional. You can be one
dimensional against the New Orleans Saints, but in a division
game on prime time, Sam's got to get some help
on the bad. So those would certainly be my two,
My two big keys to the game for the Seahawks.
How they're going to get away with the womens.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
I look at the For the Cardinals, I don't know
how because the run game has been a struggle for
the Cardinals so far. Now, the volume numbers don't look
as bad because Kyler had a thirty yard run a
couple of games ago. Trey Benson has ripped off a
fifty two yard and a twenty nine yarder, But they
have so they've been so inefficient with the run game,
(16:25):
and that's what their offense is built upon.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
It's it's not the home run ball.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
They've been getting home run balls, but it is the
strength of they're consistent three.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
To four yards of staying ahead of the sticks.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
They need to do that, but I don't know if
that's going to be something we can count on against
Seattle's defense, although I think I have a theory with
part of the reason why the Cardinals have struggled in
the run game, and it is because of new roles
now the run blocking with Isaiah Adams instead of Will
Hernandez in there, the run blocking is not as good.
(16:59):
James Honor at age thirty, the starting the season wasn't
quite as good, and Trey Benson was playing in a
role that he hadn't yet, which is the third down
role he took in mar De Mercado's spot. That changes
this week and Trey Benson is going to become the
focal point of the offense and Mar demccrado will go
back into a very familiar role. That's set I think
(17:20):
first and foremost, like my first key is not turned
the ball over, because that's what's killed the Cardinals in
the last several games against against Seattle. Seattle's taken the
ball away five times in in three king in three games,
but they have their offense has also matched that. They
(17:43):
every single game the defense. So for Week one, they
forced two turnovers, they turned the ball over twice. Week
two had two turnovers, turn forced two turnovers. Last week
turned took away the ball once, gave it away once,
and so, uh, you know, the Cardinals need to turn
that into their favor either force more turnovers then they
(18:06):
give up, or not turn the ball over at all.
And I think and the first matchup that I'm looking
at is the one that absolutely wrecked the Cardinals last year,
and that's Leonard Williams against the defensive and honestly, it's
going to be the entire defensive interior, but Leonard Williams
single handedly ruined that game. Coming out of the bye
(18:29):
for the Cardinals.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
Well, I've got bad news because it certainly looks like
Leonard Williams is picking up exactly where he left off
last season.
Speaker 5 (18:36):
He is just an absolute force of nature on the
Seahawks defensive line.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
And as a as a Seahawks fan myself, it's been
pretty awesome to watch.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
I get that, I get that. Do I like that
from my side? No, but it is exciting when you
see it happen. And also, like the Cardinals have to
push the ball down on the field more there their
passing offense has been Dink and Duncan Ding and Duncan
Deacon Dunk, and they're doing very little to push the
ball down the field for a number of reasons. They've
(19:10):
gotten drops Marvin like they need to take they more Trey,
more Marv, honestly, more Tray and more Marv. In the
passing game, they've been distributing the ball extremely well. Nine
guys caught passes in week one, eight guys caught passes
in week two, nine guys caught passes in Week three.
(19:30):
But the offense, the passing game goes through Marvin Trey,
so they've got to get the ball to Marvin Harrison
and Trey McBride and they got to protect Kyler, and
I think another matchup that's going to be really fun
to watch is simply Jackson Smith and Jigba against the
Cardinals cornerbacks. Right now, they're banged up. Will Johnson will
not likely played in practice at all this week. He's
(19:53):
on week two of his groin injury. Max Melton uh.
And then the kind of Jalen Thompson moving from safety
to play in the nickel, so you'll probably say Jalen
Thompson on Cooper Cup a little, which that probably favors
the Seahawks. And then a rotation of rookie Denzel Burke
and Key trow Clark at that other cornerback position. So
(20:16):
but first and foremost, the Cardinals cornerbacks against Jackson Smith
and Jigba. They've given up big games like Rocky Pearson
went for over one hundred yards, Ted McMillan went for
over one hundred yards and so, but I will say
this about the Cardinals and their past defense is that
they don't give up that they make teams work. So
(20:38):
while they've been good against the run, they're not giving
up things down the field. They're good at not giving
up touchdowns. The problem was is with last week, and
I hated this philosophy when mac Jones all needly needed
a field goal at the end, they were playing defense
like they were protecting the end zone and that bit
them in the butt. And I wish that they especially
(21:02):
with because mac Joe's was playing on a bad knee.
We know how mac Jones is with pressure, quick pressure
on him, blitz him, make him make a decision and
guess what, like they didn't the drive before they picked
him off. But yeah, I kind of see that any
other particular matchups that you see as being critical or
that you really want.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
To see, well, certainly as a Margaret Harrison fantasy owner,
I would like to see overall a little more production
thrown his way than what we've been saying in the
last couple of weeks. Maybe this isn't the week for it,
but overall, but that being said, this may be another
tough one for him on Thursday, because Devin Witherspoon is
(21:44):
going to be blank. He is back after his two
week gab since Julian Love who missed last week against
the Saints, or I guess I should say Sunday miss
Week three Sunday game against the Saints he's.
Speaker 5 (21:54):
Back in action. NICKI min worried, probably not going to
be back.
Speaker 4 (21:59):
But Seattle secondary is getting a little healthier, so that's
gonna make it a little more tricky.
Speaker 5 (22:05):
Cardinals.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
As as the Cardinals have questions in their secondary, seems
like the Seahawks are trending once again in the opposite
direction a little healthier.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
So that vibes or hi so once again good vibes
versus vibes and so. But I will say this, I
will say this any let's pull let's bring it back.
Coming out next on the res of Here podcast The
Best Ore Cardinals Talking Little Let's move on and bring
in the picks and predictions for this game that's coming
to next and Rise Ups you read We're back on
(22:36):
the Rise of Hered podcast Best Are Cardinals Talk on
the web final segment of this Cardinals Seahawks opponent preview
for Week four with Cole musk Grove from the Seahawks Wire.
Cardinals Seahawks games are weird, man, and they have a
history of being even more weird when they're in prime time.
That said, the Cardinals seem to only know how to
(22:59):
play a right now, and I think, well, honestly, if
they're gonna compete in this game. They're going to have
to play an ugly game. And I while I there
is a fear in the back of my mind that
Seattle could boat race them, there is that fear, But
I also believe in the resiliency of this team, and
(23:23):
even as shorthanded as they might be. They might be
down two left tackles, they might be on an undrafted
rookie left tackle as based on a couple of roster moves.
Because Paris Johnson and Kelvin Beacham are both questionable for
this game. We'll see what goes on with that. As
a Jones is out, so we're gonna see Greg Dorsch
(23:44):
this game. I think the running game is more successful
than what the Seahawks have been used to doing, and
not saying that they're going to dominate the run game,
but I think we're going to see a slow, plotted
game on both sides to the ball that's gonna come
down to a final possession.
Speaker 5 (24:04):
I think so too right now.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
I mean last week Seahawks were twenty one zero, was
still eleven minutes left in the first quarter.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
That's not happening to me night or whatever. Hope or
whatever it is.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Twenty one, nothing that early, I would be very happy.
I just don't think that's gonna happen this game at all.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
No, these teams, they know each other too well. Now.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
You know, the Seahawks seem to have more success in
Arizona than they do in Seattle against the Cardinals. You know,
every time they play in Seattle, it's always a weird
sixteen to six or nineteen to nine, just absolute slugfest.
But then when they play in Arizona, the Seahawk seems
to always be humming. I don't know why that is.
Maybe they just like the dome. I couldn't tell you.
(24:51):
I'm not predicting certainly anything like that. I'm thinking this
is gonna be another close game as well. I'm saying
twenty three seventeen Seahawks. I think the edge being one
Seattle's defensive line.
Speaker 5 (25:02):
Two.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
The Cardinals can't get the run game going, it's going
to make them one dimensional awfully quick. Three Seahawks secondary
has gotten a lot healthier. Cardinals aren't exactly lighting up
the world on offense anyways right now. And while I
think the Arizona defense is going to give the Seawks
offense so fits early on, especially if they start blitzing
(25:23):
and bring in the house. I still think the Seahawks
offense right now is just operating on very high level,
or at least certainly higher than a stinking By this point,
I think they're gonna make enough place late and escape
with an.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
Arrowheek And I've got this one like, I have no
reason to predict it. But while I can see this
going either way, I'm picking the Cardinals will win twenty
to nineteen, like a like seriously ugly end of game,
either someone makes a field goal or misses a field goal,
or what I'm hoping is is they I'm hoping is
(25:58):
they have a lead and they and they stop Seattle,
or or even a more classic is that Seattle scores
the last second touchdown and decides to go for two
and they get stuffed.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
Right.
Speaker 4 (26:13):
I would not I would not be I would not
be surprised if Mike MacDonald did ATTEMPTE is very aggressive
on fourth down and certainly very aggressive when it comes
to situations where I maybe should be a little more conservative.
But I totally understand where you're going with that. I
think it's gonna be a very good game overall. I
think with both teams are not not only are you know,
(26:37):
common opponents whatnot, they both are in kind of assimilar
situation right now, right they're both two and one, however,
their one loss is already to an nfcust opponent.
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Both teams risk.
Speaker 4 (26:47):
Falling to zero to two in the division to start
the game two and two.
Speaker 5 (26:52):
That's a precarious situation. I mean it's only in that situation, right.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Yeah, it's only week four, but you go to oh
in two of the division. To have a winning record,
you have to win the next four straight games, and
neither team has faced the Rams yet.
Speaker 5 (27:08):
You know, uh, I.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
Think that there's gonna be desperation high on each team,
especially in Seattle. You know, next week, in Week five,
they're home against the Nfeet the Buccaneers. So I'm not
sure who the Cardinals have next, but both teams are NNESC.
We have a cup car there's a mini by against Tennessee. Okay,
you get the mini you get a mini buy after
(27:31):
your a mini BUYE all right, Well, then in that
case I'm gonna get I'm gonna give the desperation edge
to Seattle.
Speaker 5 (27:37):
They have a much they have.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
Much more tough they have a much tougher opponent than
Tennessee coming in Week five, so I think they.
Speaker 5 (27:44):
Need they need to win a little more than the Cardinals.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
It makes sense. Any standout, So I like to we
like to kind of talk props. None, you don't have
to talk about props. I'll ask you some lines that
you like. Uh, this one, this one seems like a
lock uh over or under eighty one and a half
receiving yards from Jackson Smith and Jigba oh.
Speaker 5 (28:06):
Over or the over with that.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
He's only had one game this year where he had
under one hundred yards and it was last week ninety six,
and the Seahawks are up thirty eight to six. So
they didn't even need to run the ball. They didn't
need no, sorry, they didn't need to pass the ball
for two full quarters. So over eighty one and a
half yards, yeah, take the over on that.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
Over or under one and a half touchdown passes for
either Sam Donald or Kyler Murray.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
So either quarterback has more than one touchdown pass correct?
Speaker 1 (28:38):
So was because they both have really significant both both
are real positive odds that you know, it doesn't the likelihood.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
The people don't see it.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
The booksmakers the book makers don't see it, so they
got plus one forty odds for Sam Donald over one
and a half Kyler plus one forty five odds over
one and a half touchdown passes. Do you think either
one gets two touchdown passes?
Speaker 5 (28:57):
Yes, I do.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
I'm going to take the over on that's had two
touchdown passes in the last two weeks.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
Offense is doing well.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (29:05):
As for Kyler Murray, I don't think the Cardinals are going.
Speaker 4 (29:07):
To have much of a grand attack against the Seahawks defense,
and the only way they're scoring is that he's aront
it out.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
Okay, uh Interceptions. Does Sam Darnold throw an interception?
Speaker 4 (29:17):
I think he does, you know, not that he has
been careless, not that he's been careless at all with
the football. I mean he had two against the Steelers.
He can.
Speaker 5 (29:26):
He can be. We haven't seen the old Sam so far.
Knock on wood. However, given you know.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
This, this defense may be one of the better ones
they face all season. I wouldn't be surprised if you know,
they blitz him, he chucks it up and rudebaker comes down.
I would not be surprised if he.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
Throws a pick, all right, how many sacks for Leonard Williams.
Does he get a sack?
Speaker 5 (29:55):
Yes, I think he. I'm I'm gonna go I'm gonna
go out a lim I'm gonna say two seconds. He
was an absolute, he was a nightmare. But really both games.
Speaker 4 (30:04):
Against the Cardinals last year and he's playing on an
insanely high level this season. I think Kyler Murray is
gonna be having nightmares of number ninety nine this week.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
Yeah sounds good. All right.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
