(00:46):
had since we started in twenty thirteen, and it is
this time. It is not with Seth, it is not
with Sets because this is our opponent preview show and
joining me this time is one of Sets. Guys over
at esp Nations Niners Nation is Kyle Posey. Kyle, Welcome
to the show for the first time. I'm glad to
finally I've heard a lot about you from from Seth's

(01:07):
how you been Man.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
I'm glad that I'm doing an episode, a monumental episode
and taking saspot that means a lot.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
I'm gonna love that one.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
It happens to be because usually I often do this
recording before I'd record with Seth that we recorded last night,
so that one was six ninety nine and this one
at six hundred, instead of doing six ninety nine and
then doing seven hundred with Seths. So hey, I'm happy
to have you on. You got to talk a little
bit of for San Franisco forty nine Ers a game.
I look at this game with these two teams, two

(01:41):
and O teams who I'm guessing we have a lot
of questions about both teams, about the whether or not
the two and oh start is sustainable, a lot more,
A lot more people believe in the forty nine ers, clearly,
but the injuries are dealing with you know, they're they
got mac Jones and and and Juwan Jennings and Ricky

(02:04):
Piersoll and Luke Ferrell. That's that's not the group that
that we anticipated the start of the year being. So
through two weeks, even though they're two and oh, what
is the feeling around the inners nation?

Speaker 3 (02:18):
I think the fact that they were able to get
out of week two with a win is pretty much
just the sire relief right there, right You don't want
to drop a game against the Saints and Arizona.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
You guys took care of them. But there's some.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Optimism and even with the injuries during the During today,
kashan and actually said that they were contemplating on using
what could be their six IR designation, which is insane to.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Say in week two, but.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Yeah, yeah, despite all that though, the fact that they've
had the success that they have on both sides of
the ball, so there's some.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Hesitant optimism, I would say, so far.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
So we'll start on the offensive side of the ball.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
What looked at like, you know, Mac Jones, like Kyle
Shanahan does this, I know what it happens when he
did it with with Nick Mullins, CJ. Bethard looked, but
he makes quarterbacks look like they're really really good. Now,
Mac Jones definitely has talents. What was different offensively having
Mac Jones back there against the Saints then it would

(03:22):
have been with with Brock perty what do you see
any noticeable difference in their play?

Speaker 5 (03:27):
So?

Speaker 3 (03:28):
I think Brock has just a little more gunslinger to him.
I think that he wants to throw the ball down
the field more so. He's hunting for the big play
more so than Mac, where Mac looks like he's comfortable checking.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
It down and throwing the five yard route where and in.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
His defense, Jones did have a couple of plays where
he did throw the ball down the field.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Was surprising I think to everybody involved.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Still, the mobility would definitely be the biggest area where
you notice that there were times last week where like
I'm timing it, Mac Jones has the ball after four seconds.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Right, throw the ball. People can hit you. What are
you doing? Throw the ball? So that that was a
big one.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
But I would say those three just throwing the ball
down the field more so than the average quarterback and
open or willingly using your legs to scramble, because that
is something brock Party does like to do and that's
just not what Mac Jones's game is at this point.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Saints game, I was impressed at their game plan against
the Cardinals and and I last week honestly because of
the injuries that the that the forty nine ers had,
I actually had the Saints as a pick to beat
as an upset pick for the week, and and ultimately
the Niners did win and cover, but the Saints kind

(04:42):
of showed I think they're this year, they're that good
bad team, Like I don't think that they're a good team,
and they're still a bad team with a bad roster,
but Brandon Staley in that defense, and I think they're
gonna be a plucky team that's gonna and with a terrible,
awful start to the seat, have to play the Cardinals,
the forty nine Ers, the Seahawks, and the Bills consecutive weeks,

(05:04):
and so they're gonna be They're gonna be zero to
four for sure, But I think people are gonna come
away from those games and thinking this is a this
is a good bat, a competitive bad team.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Which is what you want, right You want to at
least be able to make it interesting and keep yourselves
in games, have some hope at the end of the season, like, hey,
we kept it close with those potential playoff teams, but
we didn't have something to build on and talk about
in the offseason.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
But yeah, I agree, they were pesky. They didn't go
away last week.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Even when it seemed like the forty nine Ers could
have pulled away, they hung around.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
So we go on the offensive side of the ball.
Christian McCaffrey obviously is the focal point. Through two games,
Workhorse leads the NFL with fifty touches, but his play
has been less dynamic. Does he look different or is
it just the way that teams are playing him? Three
and a half yards of carry is uncharacteristic of him,

(05:57):
but he still got He's still pacing for over two
thousand scrimmage yards through two games.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Yeah, I think it is.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
I mean, that's that was Honestly the talk of August
right well, is Christian McCaffery as fast as he once was. Well,
no player is going to be as fast as they
once were, especially coming off in achilles injury. He looks
like a good running back though he knows where to
go right. He might not be busting out these twenty
five forty five fifty yarders like he was in twenty
twenty three, but he's still getting the job done. I

(06:25):
honestly think it's more so the blocking that's giving him fits.
So there are a few plays where there are two
guys not blocking anybody here one guy just flat out
with things. So I wouldn't really blame McCaffrey for the
shortcomings on offense so far, at least on the ground,
because whenever there is something there.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
He just makes the most out of it. So he's
still very good.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
He still looks like the MVP caliber player was a
couple of years ago. Is that a guy who's going
to be this exposive player? Maybe not, but you wouldn't
notice that, I guess, is what you what I would say?

Speaker 5 (06:57):
And what is that offensive line situation? This week?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
I know Barts just went on IR. Burford's been been
been limited or he wasn't practicing the week. Are there
going to be two backup guards starting?

Speaker 3 (07:10):
There's a good chance yes, so their starter. So as
you mentioned, Barts went on the IR earlier this week,
he played ten snaps. Last week they used a seventh
round rookie in his place and he actually performed really well,
but he got hurting practice on Thursday. So that means
they could be down to an undrafted free agent or
a guy that they cut who they had to bring

(07:31):
back because of March's injury. So that's what we're looking at,
and that spells trouble when I'm thinking about it, because
just looking how the Cardinals kind of move around their
pass rushers, basically playing with four edge guys at a time.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
If it's not Klay's campbell on the field, so.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
I would imagine they're going to hunt that backup or
even honestly the seventh router because this is still.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
His second game, So that is definitely something to keep
an eye on.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
What we noticed in the last game and through two games,
Poony has not been the player that he was as
a rookie. So the guard play has been less good
than it has been in the past. Granted, anytime you've
got Trent Williams as your left tackle, you know that
blindside is taken care of, but what has been the

(08:19):
interior play thus far?

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Yeah, I think that's spot on about Poony. So people
are he was on the injury report with a knee injury,
and people are saying, oh no, he's playing with knee injury.
It doesn't look like he's being limited by somebody who's hurt.
I think he's just messing up, for lack of better words, right,
he's just not playing to the level that we saw
him last year. One of the when I'm talking about

(08:41):
the plays where people are missing blocks, I'm talking about Poony,
like that's the player.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
Who's got to mess up.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
And oddly enough, true Williams has too there was one
play last week where he's just outright tripped over somebody.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
I mean, there's not much you can do about that.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
But when I say there are some head scratching plays
in the running game, it doesn't really makes sense.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
So maybe it's not sustainable, but.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
I think the overall interior like Putty has taken it
looks like he's taking a step back. HiT's a really
but their center is pretty good, they're right tackle. They
do need to help out help him out pretty much
every time they drop back to pass. Colt mc gibbitts
is a bit of a liability in pass protection, which
does put more pressure on everybody else, especially Trent Williams,
who I assume is gonna go against Joshua quite a
bit this week.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
On the defensive side of the ball, where is tons
of turnover in the offseason. So it's a it's while
it's still Nick Bosa and Fred Warner, what does that
defense look like? Obviously Robert Shalla returned. Is there much difference,
Like how does it look through two games so far?
Is is the scheme intact or or are there are

(09:47):
a little bit of growing paints With so many changes.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
It it's a little bit of both.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Right, So they're playing some youngsters all over the place,
and when you're playing you're starting two rookies in the secondary,
there's bound to be some coverage bus and some miss eggs,
miss tackles, et cetera. And that's happening. But I think
they're also ahead of schedule. Like mikeel Williams is playing
very well. He's when he's not on the field, they
look like the team from last year. When he is
on the field, they look like a team that can
actually stop the run. So that he's been a big

(10:14):
upgrade in that since they're still breaking in their second
rounder off of Collins, he went from playing nine snaps
in week one to twenty four last week. He looks
really good, or I should say he looked really good
last week. Ideally, he keeps on trending in the right direction.
So upfront, they're just worlds better than they were a
year ago, but largely because they have NFL capable bodies.

(10:35):
They went from two hundred and seventy five two hundred
and eighty pound defensive tackles to a guy like Collins
who wests three hundred and thirty five pounds. So that's
going to make a big difference you again, like they're
coming at you in waves too, so like they have
Bryceoff coming off the bench in their pass rustling situations.
But their I think their linebacker play has been really superb.
That's where they're really separating with Fred. Everybody knows about

(10:58):
Fred Warner, but de Winners is a guy who's really
taken the next step through two games as well. So
they look really good on the front seven. And it's
really just about limiting the big plays. So if they
can do that, I think they're gonna have a good shot.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
Both at least through two games.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
It appears that he looks more like the dominant player
that he was as opposed to last year. We're he's good,
but he wasn't taking over games. I felt like it
was his play last year.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
Yeah, it's crazy.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
I said, like seven defensive players and none of them
wasn't Nick Bosa. He does look very good, yes, and
that's kind of the reason why I don't mention him,
just because I think that's the expectation with his contract
and given his status. But yeah, it helps to when
offenses don't have to or sorry, when the defense actually
has other capable bodies around you that they can't help

(11:49):
only Bosa. So yeah, they're moving him around much more,
and he just looks better. You're right, he just looks fresher.
I don't know if that's an early season thing. I
don't want to say looks more motivated because that will
make it like that wasn't the case in previous years.
But he's winning, and it stands out when you're winning.
And he's been close to a lot more sacks than
he's actually had, which is a telling sign. But no,

(12:10):
he looks like a player that's primed for.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
A defensive Player of the year run.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
And then they made the move finally they let go
of Jake Moody. Eddie Panero, how has he been as
Moody's replacement? My goodness? What is it about kickers? What
is it about the drafted kickers right that were so
good in college that they can't they just can't do
it in the pros Because Moody Moody struggles made absolutely

(12:38):
no sense. He was by far the best kicker in
the draft, playing for a big time program with big moments,
and and he can't hack it in the NFL. I
never understood that.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Yeah, he was lights out and they were like a
national championship team too, so that I have no idea.
So Panero, I'm pretty sure he missed his first extra
point and everybody's like, oh, oh no, we go again.
But he made his next two kicks and he made
the other two extra points after that. So ideally, this
is the last time we have to talk about a kicker,
I mean in forty nine ers Land, because Moody has

(13:11):
taken up so much empty time of ours. It's a kicker.
That's all you do in practice, kick it through the uprights.
Like what else do we need to say? Like, what
else do you need to see? Do your job?

Speaker 5 (13:23):
And that's what that's when you get eli all right,
Peyton Manning talking about Mike vander Jack. Is that idiot kicker? Yeah,
kind of remember that? Man all right?

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Coming on next on the Rights of Here podcast, Best
Are Cardinal's talking on this. We want to talk about
this matchup. What are the keys for success for both teams?
What are the matchups we're gonna be watching most Let's
coming next.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
To Right of Red. We're back on the rest of
Here podcast.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Best are Cardinals Stalk the Web talking to Kyle pose
If Niners Nation, eSPI Nation's San Francisco forty nine Ers site.
And now let's we get to talk about this particular matchup.
I know, for the Cardinals, their wins over the car
or over the Panthers and the Saints were expected, but
the way that they won, because they came down to
the wire, if we're left with some questions and I

(14:09):
know that. So this is kind of the first kind
of test test. The Niners had the benefit of playing
a Seattle team in Week one clutch touchdown pass to
Jake Tunges only to have Seattle go down the field
nearly win it. But for Sam Donald's be Sam Donald
with Nick Bosa being Nick Bosa, So what what are

(14:31):
going to be the keys for both sides? Like if
San Francisco wins this game, how do you see it
going down?

Speaker 5 (14:39):
What are they going to do well? And if the
Cardinals are going to win this game, how would they
do it against the against the Niners.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
I would imagine if the Cardinals are able to win
this game, it's because they're able to probably force Mac
Jones' some turnovers.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
They're probably gonna win the battle up front.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
So we're gonna see whether it's Browning, whether it's sweat,
just the defensive line control and probably get some sacks,
maybe stripsack. He had one last week where again he's
holding onto the ball for longer than four seconds. I
would also imagine Kyler has one of those magical runs
that are just annoying where he's running for like thirty
thirteen seconds back and forth and then breaks it down

(15:17):
the field. I would assume they're gonna have to get
Marvin Harrison involved in some capacity. So like true wide
receiver ones are the types of players that I mean,
they give any defensive troubles, but they do they for
whatever reason, they give the forty nine to trouble more
than most. I know, Trade McBride is like a very
good player, but they have the bodies, like the linebackers

(15:38):
down the middle to stop that type of player, where
I don't know if that's true for a player like
Marvin Harrison. So it would be a Marvin Harrison kind
of game. And again probably maybe a Trey Benson bus one.
Maybe James Connor has one of those twenty carries. Maybe
it's ninety yards, but he has some runs where he's
running over people in there's six and seven yards and

(15:58):
they're able to pick up first down. So that's how
I envision the Cardinals coming out ahead here San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Wise, what are they going to try to do? Like
Robert Sawi that is going to say, he's gonna have
a lot of little mouse traps for Kyler Murray and
that's that's.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
The fun play on words because he's a little guy.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
I love that, by the way.

Speaker 5 (16:18):
So what do you expect to see from from the
defense against against Kyler?

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Yeah, I would assume they're going to take away every Well,
it's it's weird because Tyler is not really throwing the
ball down the field so far.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
So I don't know.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
If that's a counting mass game and they come out
and they're just heaving it down the field, I don't know,
but I would assume, excuse me, I would assume that
Kyler has to check it down, check it down, and
then they lose on third down.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
So if they're consistently losing on third.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Down right and there behind the chains and starting six,
third and seven every drive, that leads to maybe the
Cardinals stalling. But at the same time, but the forty
nine ers are more of like a bin but don't
break defense, So there's going to be a give or
take with how patient is Kyler. Are they able to
create separation underneath with guys like McBride and Dertsch. So
if they are able to do that and turn it

(17:10):
into third and hey, now we might be able to
use Kyler's legs. Now we might be able to use
Connor maybe Benson in the screen game. So I think
they're gonna have to stay ahead of the change in
that sense. And honestly, on the other side of the ball,
I have no idea what to expect from their secondary
because I have no idea who's playing in the secondary.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
I would doubt that that's gonna be. That's the biggest
question mark. You know, you've got a depleted pass catching
group for the Niners, so they know George Kittle. Now
is Jennings playing? I didn't catch that any injury report.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
Yeah, did not practice all week is technically questionable, but
Shanahan is pretty strict when like, you don't practice, you
don't play. So if you're not practicing on Friday, like
outside of Nick Boson True Williams, You're probably not gonna play.
So I would imagine we do not see Juwan Jennings,
which makes it very difficult because already down Brandon, are you?
They're rookie wide receiver who was scheduled to play Megan's

(18:02):
debut this week. Jordan Watkins got hurt in practice yesterday,
so now he is going on probably going on the
IR as well. So fun times, yeah, fun times in
receiver land. Now it's pretty much down to Rickey Piersall
and a couple of guys that they just signed off
the streets.

Speaker 5 (18:20):
Ricky Piersall against h Well and that that's the world.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
That's a good match that's a good matchup in terms
of the fact that the Cardinals are gonna be because
all three of their starting cornerbacks they're not gonna play.
They're not playing because you know, Garrett Williamson on enge
reserve will Johnson doubt well, he didn't practice all week
and especially he's not gonna play Max Melton limited all
week and so and I don't know, like if one's

(18:46):
gonna play, it's gonna be him. But we're looking at
a likely a trio of cornerbacks where it's gonna be
rookie Denzel Burke twenty twenty three, six round pick, Key
Troll Clark and you know Journey Oh wait, oh, who
hasn't played a single defensive snap. Oh, actually, who has
not yet playd an NFL snap in his career? In

(19:08):
Elijah Jones third around pick last year because he was
on ir last year and he was inactive the last
two weeks, so we might see Elijah Jones NFL debut.
And so I guess in terms of matchup, no cornerbacks,
no receivers, give the ball to Christian McCaffer thirty times.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
Right, Honestly, he's gonna have like ten fifteen targets. Probably
they're gonna.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Have to find ways to get him involved. Shanahan did
a good job last week of just mixing up little
screens to tight ends and passes to the.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
Other players on the roster.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
But I mean, I would imagine the Cardinals are going
to go out of their way to like, hey, if
you want them to beat us, by all means, go
for it. So if I were him, I'd go out
of my way to have extra eyes on pearsall, maybe
get extra eyes on McCaffrey in the passing game. And
then if I go down swinging with the other guy,
so again, like they're not even being looked at like

(20:02):
Mac Jones, brock Party, whoever's under center, like he's not
going to have his way to throw the ball to
Marquez Valvez scan in the year twenty twenty five.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
So I would imagine.

Speaker 5 (20:12):
You're like, I guess I gotta throw it there.

Speaker 4 (20:17):
He doesn't seem overly willing though, that's for sure.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
And so matchups, who do you think is the is
the corner that's likely going to be lined up against
marv in this game?

Speaker 3 (20:28):
The way that it's gone for the first two weeks,
it's been Ronaldo Green. I know Lenoir has the big
the bigger contract, but they're they're leaving Green on an island.
So I would imagine him he has like just better
long sleeve, he has just a better body to match
up with those type of whiteouts. Leonore is on the
smaller side. He's playing outside for the first time in
his career this year, so I think they're.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
Kind of protecting him.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Would not would would imagine again, just the way that's
gone for the first two weeks, that's a Renard of
Green matchup.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
And obviously, you know you look at Bosa versus the
Cardinals tackles, I know he will rush from both sides,
so it'll won't be just Paris, it'll be the little
Jonah Williams, a little bit of Paris Johnson. And then
obviously on the other side, can Josh Sweat get Baron
Browning do anything against Trent Williams or are they just

(21:20):
going to have to see where their wins come against mckibbot's.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
Yeah, I mean the forty nine ers.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
They've gone out of their way to protect Colt mckibbts
with tight ends with running backs. They are not going
to let him be the one to beat him, even
though he did give up a sack last week. Part
of that was on the quarterback, but like he can
be had and you mentioned Browning and Sweat just inching
out a win against true Williams. He's actually been a

(21:47):
little susceptible this year, honestly, maybe five times finally catching
up to the legend.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
But I don't know.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
I would imagine their biggest advantage bur the Cardinals is
in those matchups right there, especially on the edge, especially
if you can get one of those edge guys matched
up against their interior players as well.

Speaker 5 (22:06):
Covering to next on the Ris of Hered podcast, Best
Are Cardinals Talk? Of the web. Let's move on talking
about the matchup. Let's stalk prediction. What do we expect
to see that's coming to next?

Speaker 2 (22:14):
In Rise Ups, he read back on the Rise of
Hered podcast Best are Cardinals Talking the Web? Still talking
to Kyle Posey from esp Nations Niners Nation, and we
look at this game. We've talked what the Niners have
done through two games, We've talked the matchups, keys.

Speaker 5 (22:28):
Prediction time. I personally think this is going.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
To be a ploty, ugly game between That's just the
car what the Cardinals have been doing offensively, They've just
been really methodical and boring.

Speaker 5 (22:40):
It's not been exciting at all.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
And with the dearth of receivers that the that the
forty nine ers have h with the Christian McCaffrey focal point,
it feels like this is.

Speaker 5 (22:51):
Gonna be a real plotty dink and dunk game, doesn't it.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Yeah, it kind of has to, right, Like, based on
the personnel, A kind of necessity is that based on
how the offensive lines have looked, how the defensive pass
rushes have looked on both sides, I would assume we're
gonna see a lot of hot potato from the quarterbacks,
So yeah, I agree, which like does that that's probably
not gonna lead to many points because it's gonna take
them nine, ten, twelve play drives and that's just so

(23:19):
tough to do in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (23:20):
So yeah, I would agree.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
I would imagine if it's a fantasy game, a lot
of pprs, a lot of a lot of catches for
the running backs and tight ends underneath.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Yes, yeah, I personally have, Like I'm bullish on the
Cardinals this year. The way they they they were while
the end of the game's got interesting, they were never
not in control of those games. So I've got the
Cardinals ekeing out a three point game twenty three twenty
How do you see this game plan out?

Speaker 3 (23:48):
So I put my prediction and I think it's gonna
be twenty four to twenty nine ers. I think they're
gonna have just enough firepower. I mean, I think the
world is Shanahan just as a play caller, and he
always seems to get them in the right situations. So
I think they're gonna find success. It's it's a tough
challenge for both teams. I guess the easier way to
put it is it's a step up in class for

(24:09):
both teams because like they really haven't played anybody. Like
the Saints are not a good team, the Panthers are
the most unseerious team imaginable. So I think there's gonna
be a little shock factor in that sense. So maybe
both offenses might maybe start out faster and the defense
is a just as the game goes on. But I
think at the end of the day, it's gonna come
down to which play caller is going to be able

(24:31):
to lead their team to that one scoring drive.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
And I'm gonna take Shanahan. So that's how I get
to twenty four to twenty.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
In terms of play performance, how do you see Mac
Jones's numbers appearing in this game?

Speaker 3 (24:45):
So they threw it a ton last week, which was
pretty surprising. Honestly, I think they threw like thirty nine
times or something like that. But assuming the Cardinals sit
back and play zone like, that's plays right into his
hands because he does have physical limitations, but those really
aren't gonna show up if you're just running his own coverage.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
Obviously, these could be complex.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Coverages, but unless you're unless you know the Cardinals are
gonna roll out and play man coverage with their fourth
and fifth string cornerbacks.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
It's it's gonna it's gonna fare better for mac Johnes.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
So I would imagine uh anywhere from like two thirty
to two forty and ideally no turnovers because that's probably
another if if he has a sack fumble like he
did last week against the Saints, I don't think the
Cardinals are gonna be able to Like I guess, I
would say, I don't think the Cardinals won't take advantage

(25:35):
of that because the Saints didn't, and I think the
Cardinals are good enough to take advantage of that.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
So easy on the sacks and light on the turnovers.

Speaker 5 (25:44):
Hey McCaffrey. McCaffrey traditionally has been a beast against the Cardinals.
He's averaging I think one hundred and forty plus crimmage
yards and a touchdown and a half in seven games
that he's played against.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
He's had four games of at least ninety five yards.
He's had I think two three touchdown games. He's been
monstrous against the Cardinals. The Cardinals, you know this year, uh,
less quality on the run block, a little bit less
dynamic running for McCaffrey so far, and the Cardinals run

(26:20):
defense has been pretty solid.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
How do you how do you expect his performance to
play out?

Speaker 2 (26:27):
I know on the betting side, sixty nine and a
half yards is his projected total, and you know at
see rushing and receiving they have him at one hundred
and nine and a half.

Speaker 5 (26:41):
I think that one's real safe, probably because of the
because of the because of the workload.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
I mean, because of the workload. One way or the other,
he's gonna he's gonna get yards. But do you expect
him to show a little more in terms of explosiveness
in this game?

Speaker 3 (26:58):
I would have so if it If that is the case,
it will probably happen through the air because he is
a dynamic receiver and I think he does still put
the fear in the eyes of like linebackers and safeties
trying to guard him. So I when you mentioned rush,
like that's gonna be difficult, just because, like I said,
they've had so many issues blocking where I don't know

(27:19):
that I to this to this point, like until we
see it can trust them blocking again in the running game,
But it feels the opposite in the passing game, like
they can throw it to him and it feels like
a free seven eight yards every time, So even receiving
yards alone, I'd feel confident in that. But I think
it's still gonna be a work in progress because I
do think the Cardinals have a better front and like

(27:40):
they're in my mind athletes give the forty nine ers
offensive line a bigger problem than like the bigger stout
type of players. And that's what Seattle has is the
more the guys who are run pluggers, so to speak,
but guys who can move like the Cardinals have. I
think they're gonna create some more chaos and the forty
nine Ers are willing to have.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
All Right, any bold predictions for this game, you've given
your game prediction, anything unexpected?

Speaker 4 (28:06):
Do you expect to see unexpected?

Speaker 3 (28:11):
I do think both teams have been playing a little
cat and mouse here, so I said, Kyler has only
thrown the ball down the field a few times. I
think we're going to see a different a more aggressive Kyler.
I actually think we're going to see a more aggressive
side on both sides, or team on both sides, whether
it's Mac Johnson and the ball down the field more.
Maybe this is the game where Christian McCaffrey does break

(28:31):
run so I'll go big plays on the ground for
Christian McCaffrey and big plays through there for Kyler.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
