My co host is Seth Cox from Revenge of the

episode seven hundred and six. It is our third show
of the week. Our preview show Cardinals Titans Week five

(00:56):
preview picks and predictions. Interesting we Seth as, We've got news.
We have a new running back situation because Trey Benson
is un injured. Reserve the Cardinals bottom line, they need
to get well game in the worst way to down day.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yeah, and sometimes the NFL gods deliver right Like you
look at you look at the landscape of the NFL
right now, and any given Sunday is not just a
great movie. Go watch it. Those of you over seventeen.
But it's it's it's a reality, right, Like it's a
statement for a reason, Like any given Sunday, any team

(01:36):
could be anybody else. And we've as Arizona Cardinals fans,
we've seen that. I mean that that fantastic Steve Wilks
three and thirteen season when they.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Went somehow won three games.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Well and went into Green Bay and beat Green Bay
in Green Bay, you know, with in the Mike McCarthy era,
and you know all of that stuff, like, yeah, it
was just it's any given Sunday is a real thing. However,
if you just you know, take a peek at the

(02:09):
landscape of the NFL, there's not a much worse team
in the NFL than the Tennessee Titans. And just you know,
after two bruising, physical, emotionally charged losses by a combined
four points, both on last second field goals, getting a

(02:33):
team that is in a bad, bad place is always
the right medicine, right.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
But it can also be just as scary. I will
say this, as much talk and let's talk about the
Titans so far this year, as much talk as we've
had about how the Cardinals offense sucks, how this sucks,
and that stinks. Everything's bad. They're not the Titans. The
Titans are terrible offensively. They got shut out, and it's

(03:05):
hard to get shut out in the NFL. It's really
hard to get shut out in the NFL. They got
shut out twenty six to nothing. They are dead last
in scoring, They are second to last in yards. They
average what is it, two hundred and ten yards a game,
and the Cardinals have struggled offensively. This is a team
that has two touchdown passes and has three touchdowns three

(03:28):
offensive touchdowns this seasons in four games. Cam Ward, like
cam Ward said it, if we're gonna keep it a buck,
we're ass it's the truth. The Titans are not good
right now. And the Cardinals need to play a team
that is playing badly right now because they need to
get right because they've got a couple of tough game.

(03:48):
They've got Indianapolis coming up, they've got green Bay coming up.
Both of those are competitive teams, and they've got the
buy they need to figure things out offensively and they're
gonna do it. And and if you look, they take
a closer look at those games that Tennessee has had,
they play competitive for half and fall apart. Isn't that

(04:10):
kind of what we need the Cardinals to do this
year in this game because the one thing they haven't
done is finished well defensively. Now the last week aside
when they scored fourteen points in the fourth quarter to
tie the game, that was I mean, they kind of
came alive, but we need to see more of that.
It would be it would be perfect to see a

(04:32):
wire to wire win, but after four games of playing
like trash, is there a part of it is a
little bit worried that they're going to have their crap
together and be more competitive against a struggling Cardinals team
than we want them to be.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Well, so you look at it. The way the NFL
works most of the time, and we're not going to
say every time, but the way the NFL works is
typically typically, uh, Brian Callahan's gonna get fired on November two.
So that's five games from now, the Cardinals, then the Raiders,

(05:17):
then the Patriots, then the Colts, then the Chargers, and
then they'll theoretically be zero to nine or one in
eight and they'll get fired, and Brian Callahan, the Tennessee
Titans head coach, will get fired that gives them the
bye week, and then they come out of the bye
week with whoever you could name a person, and I
believe that he's on the staff. I have no idea

(05:37):
who's on the Tennessee Titans staff, but you know whoever
the interim coaches that gives them two weeks to prepare, get.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Ready, John Fossil, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yeah, somebody like that, right. And so again, typically that's
how things go in the NFL. The problem becomes with
performances like last week. Then it expedites things, right, just
like you lose a game to a fellow zero to
three team, the Houston Texans, and the Texans aren't asked.

(06:09):
They're a great defense. You know, even going into that game,
I think there were third in scoring defense. If I
remember right, I'd have to have to go back and look.
But you know they don't. They'd only given up twenty
points in one game this season. Their offense was just
struggling mightily, mightily, and so you look at it and

(06:31):
you're like, okay, well this is going to be a
game where, you know, too struggling offenses face off and
we'll see what happens. But and again, the Texans defense
is good one hundred and seventy five yards of total
offense is pulthetic. Going scoreless is, like you said, nearly

(06:56):
impossible in today's NFL, especially in a dome. I mean,
this isn't a this isn't a they missed.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
A couple of field goals too. This was this was
a six to nothing game at halftime, and I believe
Tennessee missed at least one field goal in that game.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
And and so you know, so you look at that
and you go, okay, like that's that performance last Sunday
is genuinely one of the worst performances I've ever seen.
And this is coming on the heels of the fact
that they have another game this year where they had
under one hundred and fifty yards of total offense. So

(07:33):
there's two games this season where they have a combined
three hundred and eight yards of total offense, three turnovers.
Let me see how many touchdowns, because they scored twelve
against the Broncos. Looks like zero touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Zero touch scored three offensive touchdowns all year.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
So so and again, Brian Callahan was an offensive guy.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
So all these things like as bad as Will Levis was,
and Ward's been worse than will Levis statistically.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yeah, oh definitely. And so you look at it, it's
one of those situations where is this going to last
until the buye And quite frankly, it seems like the
answer is no. Right. But this is, as you astutely

(08:33):
pointed out, Jess, this is where the danger lies for
Theirs and the Cardinals. If Callahan has any believers in
this locker room, they will rally and put together a
valiant effort this week. I'm not saying it's going to

(08:56):
be a winning effort, but a valiant effort to try.
Because here's the thing. You don't want to be cam
Ward and get your head coach as the first overall
pick fired five games five games in, especially when you're talking,
I mean, Jess, we're talking about this. Dude's only been

(09:19):
a head coach for one year, Like this is his
second year as a head coach. So that's that's the thing,
is like, if there's pride, if there's if there's this
you know, semblance of anything, you could get an effort
that that makes things interesting. Yea, After last week, though, man,

(09:45):
I genuinely have no idea because that was one of
the worst performances I've.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Ever seen and when I was talking to to Mark
Mhalow on the other preview show, if the Cardinals put
a beat down in Tennessee, that might be it. It'll
be hard to keep Callahan around.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Now.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
If we look at some of the numbers they're they're abysmal.
They're their leading rusher is is Tony Pollard. He's averaging
less than four yards of carry. He's got the one touchdown.
They could get Ty J. Spears back this week, so
that'll add a boost to that. But they're they're getting
like Calvin Ridley might not play. He's only got ten

(10:25):
receptions on the air. They're Ricky elk Aamnor has twelve catches,
he has the only two touchdown receiving touchdowns they have.
They've they're bad. Like here's some of the numbers they are.
They are thirty second, they're dead last in points, they're
second to last in yards, they're second to last in

(10:45):
first downs, they're dead last in passing yards. They're twenty
ninth in rushing yards. They've getten Like cam Ward's been
sacked more than any player in the league with seventeen.
The Cardinals have a good defense. This should be like
if we're looking at this game, we'll talk scheme like,
don't be conservative, Nick Ralis, don't like send guys, send

(11:10):
guys and send guys. This is a game where the
defense should score. The defense should shut them down. Because
they've been good against the they've been good against the run,
they've the statistically, they're bad against the past. But guess what,
the Titans are terrible on passing offense. You don't want

(11:31):
you know, also don't want them. You don't want the
Titans to have their breakout game against you. I mean, yeah,
if we're talking about vibes of this season, and the
vibes are very low right now for the Cardinals after
these two last second losses. If they let the Titans
get on track, I don't know if there will be

(11:54):
any belief left in this Cardinals team even if they
went off to rattle a few games, the lose the
last two games the way they did and then let
the Titans beat them or I'm alive offensively, I don't
know if there's any coming back from that. I think
that would poison the season they do have. They do
kick a lot of field goals. Joey Sli has missed

(12:17):
two from forty and two from fifty plus, but he's
attempted at a league high fourteen kicks. Their defense has
been good for the first half of games, but statistically
they're still a bad defense. They are, you know, bottom
five in points, the bottom eight in yards allowed. They

(12:43):
are twenty second against the pass, of twenty eighth against
the run. You know, the Cardinals offensively should be able
to move the ball. They don't have. They don't have.
I think they have a total of four sacks as
a team, and their best player is Jeffrey Simmons, and
he's great, but you get nothing from anyone else. They
have three interceptions and they've they've gotten in four games.

(13:09):
They've gotten their hands on three passes and so now,
granted defensively they have they did take the ball away
from the Denver Broncos four times, but they've only created
one takeaway in the last three games, and so, I mean,
there's not much to be positive about about these Titans.

(13:32):
If you're a Titans fan right now, it's a rough life.
Like the only thing you can rest your shoulder on
rest have some sort of uh is They've got cam Ward.
But at the same time, cam Ward hasn't looked good
it's just that he's the first first overall pick in
the draft. Yeah, So in anything else of note to

(13:54):
point out about the about the Titans, because there isn't
there doesn't look to be anything. You've got one good
play defensively and Jeffrey Simmons, and offensively you kind of
have nobody. You have an aging Tyler Lockett. He hasn't
done much this year. They haven't. Okay, they like they're
tight end a quonko isn't isn't bad, but they're they're

(14:16):
lacking in weapons and unless tij Spears brings a you know,
a spark to that offense is going to be rough.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Well, and you kind of hit it on the head.
It's not just that they're bad, it's that they have
They don't inspire confidence in anybody, right, Like you don't
look at Tony Pollard and go, oh man, we're excited
about that. You know, Tony Pollard had a had, you know,
a thousand yard season last year and it was decent,

(14:49):
but it was a grinded out thousand yard season. Right
He's he's now four years removed from that guy that
was averaging you know, over five yards of carry. And
and then you look at the backup and like, you

(15:09):
know me, man, I'm trying to be a nice person
and and do my do my due diligence. But Julius Chestnut,
I don't even like genuinely that's like a creative player, right,
Like that's I'm like, I'm not trying to be rude,
but like seriously, like the five carries and and then

(15:30):
you mentioned the receivers. You know, Uh, chig Iguanu is excellent,
excellent tight end. Somebody that you're excited about. You know,
you talked about e Lak the Stanford grad. Uh, you know,
a guy again that you should be excited about. But

(15:52):
like they're just I don't know, man, It's it's a weird.
It's a weird team. Like you look at how they
were constructed and just the names, and like you're like, oh,
this team is gonna be awful, right, Like that's kind
of how.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
That's what they that's what they are.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
And so it just makes it, it makes it tough
because there's nothing that you know, as much as we
as much as we have been frustrated with the Cardinals,
like this is this is the concern from from folk
like Jess and I who are always like it's not.
It doesn't necessarily just need to be like, hey, let's
clean house again, because this is what ends up happening.

(16:36):
You know, there's a there's a huge chasm between this
Tennessee franchise that used to be one of the better
and more consistent in the NFL under Mike Vrabel when
people were like, Okay, it's time. They just can't get
over the hump. And Brian Callahan, who has won in

(17:00):
three games and eighteen attempts over the last two years
and you're just like, oh my god, it can get
so much.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Worse, said can, Yes, it can. Coming on next of
the Subsecret Podcastapists Are Cardinals talk about it and we
want to talk about this matchup. What do we want
to see? What are the keys to the Cardinals winning
and matchup? We're gonna watch this. Coming to next on
Rice Up c Red We're back on the Rise of
heret Podcastpists Are of Cardinals talk on the web. I mean,
if we're talking about keys the Cardinals, like I can't

(17:30):
say like they just need to like, I know, defensively,
they need to send pressure. I think that should be
one hundred percent the game plan against this group is
to run, blitz and pass, rush, blitz and force plays. Now, yes,
they've given up some big plays, but I think with

(17:51):
the talent that this this Titan squad has, they're gonna
turn the ball over and we can't let them dink
and dunk, don't let them conductive. I think, wouldn't you
say that with the season that cam Ward has had,
He's completed fifty one percent of his passes, two touchdowns,
two interceptions.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
That.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Allowing him to dink and dunk would help him gain confidence.
And it didn't work against mac Jones because mac Jones
is content to do that and has enough talent to
then make throws down the field when he needs to.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Right, And and the thing is with with the way
this offense has looked this year. Man, it's just been so,
as you said, inconsistent, And really it hasn't been inconsistent,
it's just been consistently bad. You know, you look at
you look at little things. Uh. You know cam Ward's
long past on the season's thirty three yards.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
You mentioned the seventeen sacks, and it's something we've talked
about a couple of times with regards to Kyler, like
he's thrown five less passes than Kyler, and you kind
of mentioned it, like how have you only throw five
less passes and you're trailing all the time?

Speaker 3 (19:12):
Like that just that's true. That is true because the
Cargos just they don't like they haven't been trailing in
most of their games.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Right, so it's like, oh, we don't need we don't
need to throw the ball. We don't. It's it's one
of our big like it's one of the things we've
lamented all seasons, like you know, like open it up early,
like stop stop waiting or you know, and just continuing
to wait. No, no, it's you can you can be
aggressive early, like you don't have to wait until you're

(19:45):
down and then you look at it and you go, oh,
it's too late. They don't even do that. They're just
like yeah, whatever, Like that doesn't that kind of scene
what it's like, like, how have you attempted less passes
then Kyler Murray? When Murray has two games where he
barely threw the ball in the second half, Like it's

(20:08):
just man, dude, it this whole situation with Ward is
just so bad for his development and more than more
than that, that's why you have to look at like
getting rid of these guys. But you know, you to
your point, like you look at you look at the
Titans again, what what do you hang your hat on? Like,

(20:31):
what is the what is it that you do as
a as a club that people go Okay, That's that's
where it's at. Offensively, second year, maybe third year. Peter
Skronsky's been playing well as a guard. Uh, he's a
guy you and I both like coming out to so

(20:51):
yeah two years ago when he was coming out and
they finally kicked him inside and he's really kind of developing.
We thought he was always a guard to you know,
so good job just and Steth. You know. From there,
it's like the whole line is not great. The obviously

(21:14):
the quarterback situation is what it is. You kind of
give the guy a little bit of a little bit
of breathing room because he's a he's a rookie. And
then on the defensive side of the ball, you said
it like they're not bad. I mean, you've got some
guys that have played well. Xavier Woods is a safety
that's been playing well this year for them, you know,

(21:35):
kind of having a career year. And isn't that kind
of how journeymen go to like a career year in
year ten or nine, I think technically playing on a
team that's gonna go winless and then or you know,
win a game or two and then pants are gonna
be like, oh, go signing Xavier Woods and then he's
back to being Xavier Woods.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
You know, has been an absolute bust for them in
terms of a cornerback one.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Yeah. Well and you know you look at that right
like you got snead and teams are attacking him and
and kind of laying off a Roger McCreary who had
been you know, really not good his first three years
in the NFL. And so that's that's always a concerning thing,

(22:24):
right to. And Andre Sweat can't even get on the field.
I remember last year Cardinals fans lamenting like, oh, you know,
you need a big run stuff for blah blah blah.
You know, like and it's like, well.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
Three hundred and fifty found guys are tough to stay healthy.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Yeah, and so you know he's never on the field.
You managed the agents won Jeffrey Simmons. You know, he's
going to go down as one of the the guys
that unfortunately and he's still only twenty eight, so maybe
that changes, right, maybe he gets somewhere and gets three
to four years really really good play to help out,

(23:04):
but man, he is, he's a monster. And coming back
from another you know, knee injury and and doing it
again at a high level.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
It's going to be a tough match. But likely know
Evan Brown, So we're looking at we'll see if will
Herdan's places, whether he plays left guard or right guard.
Maybe he's back at right guard. Isaiah Adam. That that defense,
that offense line interior against Simmons, that's isn't that basically
the most important matchup on in terms of how they

(23:38):
handle individuals on the defensive side of the ball.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
For the Titans, I mean, and their defensive line hasn't
been bad. It's just a very you know, mish match.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
Their linebackers are producted. But from what I heard in
the last show is that you know, Barton and the
other kid a great they're just making tackles six yards
down the field.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Well, and it goes back to what we've talked about before, right, like, yes,
you absolutely want your linebackers leading you in tackling, but
depth of tackle matters so much more than anything.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Else.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
And so if you're you know, if you're linebackers are
making tackles like you said at seven plus yards, then
at that point you're like, Okay, why is our safeties
not leading us in tackling, because that's just that just
means your linebackers have terrible reaction timing and and they're
like you said, chasing downfield Amani Hooker and Xavier Woods

(24:39):
or second, third or third and forcecuse me, respectively in
tackles on the team. So you know, what I just
said is actually happening quite a bit too. The fact
that four of the top six tacklers for the Titans
are their dbs is you know, not ideal. And you
mentioned Sneed, I mean just hasn't played well. So yeah,

(25:01):
how do you slow down Jeffrey Simmons, Sebastian Joseph Day.
We've seen him forever, you know, with the rams. He
is what he is and he's still doing it at
a decent level. But he's he's a pretty you know,
he's a guy that you know what you're getting out
of him. You've got to control him in the run game.
He's not going to overly threaten you in the past game.

(25:25):
So you just got to make sure that you contain
him as much as possible. You know, from a past
rush point of view, it's it's Simmons on the interior
and then ardent Key, a guy that's really never lived
up right like, but he's playing well enough this year.

(25:47):
It's just like I said, man, it's a it's a
mish mash of stuff. And then the one thing I
will say or I'm curious to watch is uh oh goodness,
gracious uh McCreary. So he's he's their best corner, but
he's a slot corner. So is he going to be

(26:11):
on you know, Greg Dortsch or the guy you know
when they go with the three big wide receivers that
if Jay Jones is able to get back this week,
which seems like he will be, you know, and and
they rotate you know, Jones and and Wilson and Marvin
Harrison in the slot like will I mean, because that's

(26:32):
as good as he's played this year, that's a matchup
advantage for the Cardinals, right, that's and so those are
the ones because like you said, I mean, man, that
was you know, that's a bust of a of a
paycheck from lagarious name but doesn't sneed reek of a
guy that's gonna get cut or like they move on

(26:53):
from him and then he goes back to Kansas City
and plays at a high level.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Like doesn't that just yes, yes, and it totally like
maybe it's maybe it's the we see this, we do
see this. You get a cornerback that was great on
a great team and not be great on other team
and then go back to another team and be great again.
It's it feels like it's like he's good for Steve Spagnolo.

(27:20):
I guess that particular role those players around him, But
I want what I want to see this game, especially offensively.
I think they have to open up the passing game
and they're gonna have to flip. They have to flip,
and we saw it formation wise where they were almost
all eleven personnel in the last game. I wonder if

(27:45):
that was all built around James Connor. The type of
runner is he that he is, and now that he's
no longer the number one back, they have to rethink
things offensively. They can't be a bruising running team. They
don't have the guys to do it. You don't have
the James Connor. You don't have a trade Benson. What
you can have is an efficient rushing attack. Michael Carter

(28:07):
can get you a big plays, and Mario mcconnough can
get you plays. Bam Knight can get your plays. But
I think rather than any I think they could. I
think they suddenly have to be a team that will
use the pass to open the run and not vice versa,
because they've been for the last two and a half
years a team that uses the run to set up pass,
and I think they have to do it the other

(28:27):
way around. So the pass game has to be opened up,
and I and I think that's you're going to have
to do. You're gonna have to spam some of your
receivers the ball. Spam Todd Ady was saying it like,
you've got to get him the ball in his hands
so he feels confident and then he won't be in
his head so that I want to see. I don't

(28:49):
want them trying to force the same twelve personnel running
scheme when you've got a little guy like Michael Carter
running the ball instead of six two two thirty James Connor.
I want them to open up the passing game to
stop to then help the run and then defensive leg

(29:10):
just send guys, make sure that you're pressuring war. Don't
give up if like give up them, give up the underneath,
like don't change how you're covering down the field, but
force mistakes by ward. And then like I'm talking individual matchups,

(29:31):
you know, watch for the edge guys because if JC
Latham's out again, that right tackle position is is a
is an absolute disaster for the Titans. And so the
edge guys for the Cardinals, whether the Baron Browning, Josh
Swedzaven Collins, whoever happens to be rushing off of right tackle,
pay attention to them because their backup right tackles have
been dreadful for the Titans.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Yeah, and that's what you know, you that's what the
hope is, right like that they'll them out and they'll
be able to play at this high level and be
ready to go. And and that's you know, they have
that ability and they have the opportunity this week to
really show it. So we'll see how We'll see how

(30:19):
they come out, because I do like some of the matchups.

Speaker 3 (30:22):
I'm not next on the Rise of Hered podcast, Best
Our Cardinals talking the one Let's move on and make
our predictions, our picks, and talk a little bits that's
coming next and receps. He read back on the rise
of hered podcast Best Our Cardinals Talk on the Web.
Time to make our picks, predictions and props for Week
five afternoon, one oh five pm at State Farm Stadium
on CBS. The line is that the spread is down

(30:46):
to seven and a half points on BETMGM. I want
to think that the Cardinals, and I think the Cardinals
need to now whether it's a competitive game from the start.
I could see this being a ten to three game
at halftime and then turning into twenty seven thirteen. I

(31:06):
my in my mind, twenty seven thirteen Cardinals. It's not
an exciting game by any means. They're not They're not
going to go for five hundred yards. But I don't
think they're going to be any doubt. I think it'll
be they'll be in control even if it's close by halftime,
and then pull away even with probably Tennessee picking up
a couple of garbage time scores.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Yeah, I think the Cardinals song FanDuel, they are still
at eight and a half, but it's minus one oh four,
so it's basically even money, which is, you know, crazy
to think. And so that's that's what'll be interesting to
see how this all comes out, because I think that

(31:52):
they cover seven and a half or eight, right, Like
I think from where each team is, I know fans
are disappointed with some of the outcomes thus far, but
where each team is thus far there we're talking about
teams that are, like the Cardinals are losing competitive games

(32:12):
to some of the best teams in the NFL. And
and I don't think we expected that, uh, you know,
with with how San Francisco, how banged up San Francisco is, right.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Oh my gosh, that now and guess what San Francisco
is now control of this divice. They're three and ozero
in division games already. That is that's crazy, and they're
doing it without all.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
Their guys, Yeah, exactly. So so we'll see how it
all works out. But you know, I think right now
you look at it, the the Cardinals good should be
the key, you know verbiage here, They should win this game.

(33:00):
So we'll see how how it plays out. In things
of that nature, like I want.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
To slide the alternate spread to minus nine and a
half because then I think this is a double digit win,
better be a double digit win. You get them winning
by ten. If you get the Cardinals minus nine and
a half, you get it that plus one ten odds,
which gives you that's a that's a nice bet. And
if you want to go crazy and go add another

(33:27):
point to it, making minus ten and a half, it's
plus one thirty. If you think that they can be
a two score like a like a thirteen point win,
you can get some good value. And but I think
I would I would I would slide that spread to
nine and a half to get the plus odds. I
feel that way about this game, just how dreadful the
Titans are. But I do like the under simply because

(33:50):
I don't think at forty one and a half.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
I mean, that would be a car. I mean, knowing
how things go, that'd be a Cardinals thirty thirteen win,
right like the Cardinals went thirty thirteen in the under,
does it hit.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
That would totally yeah. But I still like, you know,
twenty seven thirteen, twenty seven to ten, that that's kind
of the range I think that we're looking at. So
I like the under for that, but I wouldn't slide
it one way or another because if you look at

(34:25):
the alternate total if you if you wanted to if
you wanted to do full game over or under rather
under forty three, that's minus one forty so you get
a little less. But now if you want to, like
if you want to create a parlay that has you

(34:45):
go under forty three and a half, it's minus one
third forty five. But that I think that would be
fairly close as don't you think that would be a
fairly safe ad to to a parlo that you're doing
if you just want to kind of sweeten up a
parlate that that with a fairly oh.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
Yeah, that's I mean, that's definitely how you're gonna look
at it. You know. The hard part becomes, obviously.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
How this team has, as you you know excellently pointed out,
have just not finished anything.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
So so you look at it and on paper it
should be mostly an easy I don't want to say easy,
but like an easy ish win, right, But the way
it's worked this season, it's just been such a cluster,
you know what, that you can't you can't even look

(35:47):
at it and say, oh, this is a this is
a win that you you can pencil in because they
just haven't played well enough to deserve that that belief. Right.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
Wow, Now if you look at touchdown scores, this is crazy,
you know, Michael Carter plus one twenty five, the Marin
de Mercado plus one thirty five, that's I mean, where
are they going to throw the ball? Like in trying
to find value picks here from the Cardinals.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
That's what's hard is there's really no value in in
this game unless, like you said, you parlay some things
that haven't happened yet this year, right.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
Right, defense like a Arizona defense or special teams. At
plus five hundred, I think that's one of the best. Like,
I think that might be one of your better values
for this for this game.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
It definitely is. And and you know, you look at
all of that, and that's how you would have to
look at it is, is like where does the value come?
A couple of the ones I've seen that are kind
of the pre set, you know, parlay type things or
game specials that that's you know that I've I've liked

(37:08):
is there's a there's one with with where did it go? Bullies?
Michael Carter and Tony Pollard to each have twenty five
rushing yards in each half. Like that's something that I
could definitely see coming about, right, because it's not a

(37:33):
wild or crazy number by any stretch of the imagination.
So you just look at it and you go, okay,
this is you know this, this makes sense and there
are there are ways that these things can happen. But yeah,
I mean, it's just not a game where there's a
lot of juice to be had, so to speak. I

(37:56):
shouldn't say that there's definitely value, but it's hard. It's
hard to find the value like it has to. It's
one of those things where you look at value and
you go, okay, like how do the Cardinals get.

Speaker 3 (38:19):
I've got one. I've got one good value pick and
that's Marvin Harrison Junior over four and a half receptions
at plus one twenty.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
I like that, I mean, and I think you kind
of mentioned it like this is a game where you
look at and you go, okay, like, let's try it.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
Oh, you know. I like some of these passing props
for the Cardinals because so you can get Greg Dortsch
over two and a half catches for plus one ten.
The kicking props I don't.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Love because slides on kicks.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
Yeah, well, even Ryland. Now, yeah, unless you think that
you got unless the Cardinals are going to go just touchdowns,
there's there's a little bit of value for Chad Ryland
under seven and a half at even money, but they
he kicks lots of field goals, so I don't love
love those the passing props. Give me over over one

(39:16):
and a half touchdown pass for Kyler at at at
even money plus one hundred maybe, you know, maybe because
you can get cam Ward's only been picked off twice
in four games, but I think the Cardinals are probably
picking off. But if you like that, you can get
under half an interception for plus one twenty for cam
Ward if you're looking for value there.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
Yeah, and that's you know, that's another one where it's
you just feel like, is there, how is this going
to work out? Because it doesn't feel like they're putting
any value in him right.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
Well, and here's the thing, this is a game. I'm
sure that the sports perths are like, like, who's gonna
bet this game? Anyway? Man?

Speaker 2 (40:02):
That's one hundred percent how you're looking at it.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
Nobody knows any of these guys. Chicka kwonkuo, Like you
have to be a Titans fan to know who he is.
You have to be hardcore to know who he is.
But yeah, other than that, like I I think the
best value for these are the receptions for the player
props and so get those in before they change. But yeah,

(40:26):
I think I think the Harrison over four and a half,
Greg dors over two and a half, and then maybe
Michael Carter because they do like to they do like
to check down.

Speaker 2 (40:40):
Yeah, and that's the thing I really like the you know,
the running back receptions props because of of their affinity
to to check down and to keep things in control
and not take chances on both sides of the ball.
