Speaker 1 (00:03):
So it's another SS short and it is make sure
it's a date correct. It is Monday, this is after
Labor Day. This was Monday, September ninth. We're back. Okay,
this is gonna sound probably shady, and I'm not trying
to sound shady. I just find it very in tarrassante,

(00:25):
as we see in Spanish, very interesting. So what's going on?
So I was out of my own business and I
was like, okay, let's see what's going on with some people.
And I was looking online and Instagram chooses to send
me a video of Mariecondo and she looks different and

(00:51):
she's howking products. Wait a minute, let me take a
look at this. So I want to make sure I
have this down because I'm talking about in case you
don't know. So I'm wanna lie. And she's dressed before

(01:11):
you like dressing these cut little skirts and pumps and
things of that. She's all dressed in like these. So
I get it gets to this picture because I want
to try to say this correctly. I'm gonna talk. I'm
gonna try to talk. She's in a cute little long,
slowly skirt and the short top and she's talking about

(01:35):
this thing. Called the transformer table. Now, the concept is amazing.
It's these tables and that are you know, all about
repurposing and multi use products. They are they can be
one thing and then you can transform them into something else.

(01:56):
It's almost like having a leaf and the table in
the old days, but is already this is connected. So
you don't have to hide the leaf somewhere and then
bring it out, you know, twice a year or whatever.
We're going dinner party. It's in the table, but it's
easily foldable and you can use what I'm totally giving you,
like a commercial on it. But it's just it's so

(02:19):
it's it's it's a great idea. It's a great idea.
And I was like, okay, So I was like I
looked around, I'm like some more research, and she has
a whole host of product out there. Now here's the
person gonna sound shady, but I'm just I'm just very curious, folks.

(02:42):
And I'm curious. I'm not curious because I know it's
all about it's all about business. Business is king, So
I know I know why this is happening. But for
shady's sake, if you are the person who's trying to
get rid of stuff. You are the girl of tidying
up everything, sparking joy and likenthing spark joy, and now

(03:04):
is your whole deal. Now you're trying to get people
to buy stuff put in those homes. I'm like, Wow,
that's a that's a big change of concept, change of business,
change of everything. You're like, now I'm doing this. Before

(03:25):
I was all about this, but now I'm doing this.
And that's very interesting to me because the whole concept
was getting stuff out of your house, being more menialistic
and west of in there and everything. But now you're saying,
buy my products bringing in my house. She had sh
had different kinds of transforming tables, not just one kind.

(03:48):
So my thought is, yes, it's obviously business. Someone told her. Okay,
the tidying up craze ended. It was big for a
while as a book and to beg for a minute
on Netflix. And I've always maintained this whole time. I
always have. You can go back and look at my

(04:09):
my comments. I never knocked someone's punsle that's like, you know,
want a girl, get it, get a girl get it?
And number two to have one of us have a
Netflix show. I don't care who it is. It helped
all our businesses. I got to Force magazine because of her,

(04:32):
and I think people who liked her con myrie method
on my show, I'm opportunity person. I'm like, it works
for you, great mad A couple of friends, it works
for them. They got them talk about organizing. I could
talk organizing twenty four to seven. So you know, I'm
always like, whatever gets this there, let's talk about it.
But can I go back to you, just like, this
is very interesting people. You have a brand, and so

(04:56):
I think you should always be careful what your brand is.
I'm gonna turn this into a lesson, right, That's not
for me because I've never been a person at all
about just through everything, and it spark joy. I was
always just like, let's be realistic because we do heard
the concept she's selling. It's great and sort our products
that are really cute, not that expensive, really cute organizing tools.

(05:18):
We all need organizing tools, so so she's not far off.
I just like, I think it's for me. I'm glad
that a lot of my brands. I was thinking this
the other day, and branding is broad enough that no
one has to question if I add a product or
not or something because they can fit right in. It

(05:43):
won't be it won't feel like where did that come from? Like, oh,
James likes this? Okay, God, that makes sense. James. I
guess he changed being into that. Okay, got it? So
I think that's that's the key, is that when you
have a brand and you almost see like your hip
into anything, just be cautious of that and you can
always mean this. You know, you can always change things,

(06:05):
and sometimes change is not be hypocritical, it's it's actually
an evolution. I just find it very interesting now that
she is selling products under her name or letting her
name to products for you to bring back in your apps,
and you know, I want to be smart mouths and go, well,
will that transferred team will bring you joy? Or have

(06:25):
you changed her mind? I don't follow her. Somebody she
has a whole thing about this. I didn't. I don't
even know. I'm not going to do the research because
I don't really care that heavily. But I'm just telling
you as a fellow professional organizer, because that's what I am.
Fifteen years and running with sixteen years. I will always
you know, sure, I want products one day and so

(06:46):
I looked up like that, and I like because I
have no I'm never one of like don't buy stuff.
It's just sit to buy the right stuff. That's a
whole other show, of course, But yeah, that was interesting.
I'm out there. Anything organizing I will talk about on
the show. You know that. And I've been talking about
some controversial topics the last couple of weeks, and you know,

(07:10):
I try to be as real as possible and how
I view things, you can hear them differently, of course,
and I enjoy the discourse and the talks, and I
have no problem being putting myself out there obviously, I
think is in graduat are all to all of my
clients who do look to me for guide And now
I have clients in San Francisco, so now i'm old clients.

(07:34):
Sometimes I'm working with her a lot now and I
have clients in LA and I'm very happy to have that.
I want to do more speaking. I'm for hire. I
want to do more speaking. I can talk kind of
stuff organizing wise, organizing a media or I just I just,
I'm I am just. I'm here for I'm here to help.

(07:55):
I've heard through sos and I'm here to help by
my show so we're organized and superorgansor show are both
on x and on Facebook. You can follow that stuff
there and a lot of help. Dot com is the website.
Talk to you next time.
