August fifth, n nineteen. Now, James, that isn't It's Monday,
August fifth, twenty twenty four. That's what it is. It's
the SDS show with James Like Junior. I'm James Junior,
super organized and this is SOS shorts and I've been
catching some other stuff savag guy gets for the show. Yeah,

(00:25):
I'm gonna work on that again soon. But so to
get a little break, but we do these little shorts.

(00:46):
give new episodes. I was out shopping, so there are
a lot of organizing products out there, and you have
to be careful because you just buy stuff. It becomes
more clutter to organize, right. But this short's about kind

(01:09):
of bargain. I'm gonna give up up and tell you
a couple of places you can go for bargain. Hits
when it comes to like office supplies, desk supplies, even
little things. So here here you go, so big lots
there are half the big lots are going out of business.

(01:31):
Go to your go to your local big lots and
if it's going out of business, get there and like
buy up what you can of stuff, you know, tape,
paper clips, posted notes, notebooks, whatever you think you need.
I'm telling you they're inexpensive and these are things you'll

(01:52):
always use. Now you see, I didn't say bens because
they have some good bins, Like they have some big lots.
There are six niney nine and they're really deep and
they're big. But only if you need them. I mean,
I don't know if you. I mean that's the things

(02:13):
kind of like some people will say, I'm just gonna
buy some bins cause I might use them one day.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Well I either you know you you need to use
we're not at together.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
And now at the point is so I just did
a paper products which you can put in a drawer
or half on your desk a little easier. And they
have nice ones. They have something that matched as some
of their cute little sets. I was saying, if you're
if that's what you're looking for, big lots of ye
and cause they're they're going down of business, so they
get stuff same thing.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Dollar Tree there's some cute items three four dollar or
a dollar twenty five cute. Its family dollar. Another one
has a few items. I'm like my thing and so
and here's what's funny. I I went to home Goods
the other day.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Now, at home Goods.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
They carry some of the higher priced brands, but the
cheaper prices like Papyrus, paper, Source, raddone and all that stuff.
They're huge stuff, but inexpensive. So I always tell people
if you if you need to buy stuff for your office, home,
office workers, whatever.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Or go there, go to these places. Container story is cute.
I love it.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Staples is still too expensive. I was just Staples recently too.
I was like, sorry, say let me look around see
what's going on. And Staples is not busy. They closed
office Depot whatever and all the things Office Max all that.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
It's still expensive.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
They had a clearance section, so if you would go
all the way to the back. Usually usually weigh in
the back down the shelves and most of them.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
And there's a clearance section.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I saw a couple things that were actually priced but
not everything's priced down though, like be discerning and everything
is priced.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Like in a way that actually would make sense.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
So you see something goes it says it's twelve dollars
and it was originally thirty. It's like, well, if it's
that price, it should be priced down to ten dollars
or seven dollars like that to me. Yeah, we even
have standards when it comes to discount places. Right sometimes
right now, CVS. If you have a CBS near you,

(04:27):
in a corner of the back, somethings, they have contact paper,
post its, notebooks.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
And stuff really expensive. They have sales.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
You usually have yellow tags and they have sales. I know,
I've been shopping, so you don't have to. I've been
looking around so I can tell you where to go.
I don't know where you live. I mean, you don't
build all the country. If you're New York, Dwayne read
usually have a clearance section. Try them out. Some places
have write aid still or long drugs. I notice grocery

(04:58):
stores are not a good place. They carry some kind
of stuff. I'm like, but I've never said a grocery
store where I'm like, the prices are good when it
comes to like that, and I've been all over the country.
I'm talking from fred Meyer Hi, you know, I'm talking
about to Price Chopper, to Giant Eagle, to Wegman's.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
To Oscool Jew.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
I know my I know my stores, Public's, I know
my stores. I v I mean, I'm just telling you.
I Usually I don't go and Target to Target's cute.
Occasionally I went to Night recently. They might have a
few things on sale, but again they're nothing great.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Target is expensive to me these days.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Even when it comes to like paper prop like bathroom
product stuff, it's not cheaper and so many like Dollard
Tree has sometimes the higher end stuff is just a
different shape or size that they don't normally sell.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
I buy it up, I get it.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Oh my god, I'm gonna get it because I use it,
and it's it's really expensive. You have that, you have
the money, do it, so just let you know there's that.
I forgot to do my thanks and we had a
teen I was I was just like, I would do
a show for nine yearslet shitt know better, So I'll
end the show about thanks and gratudes.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
So I'll do that.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
But first again, discount shopping try the dollar places and stuff, say,
you know the sort of places they really have great stuff.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
I don't show about Walmart, so I don't know how
they are there.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Or Sam's Clever, and I don't shop at those places,
so I couldn't tell you that. But I'm telling you
Big Lots is going out and say going out of business.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Check out their stuff.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
I go there and guy, see, well, here's one thing
I get that's really expensive.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
And this is the organizing thing.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
I get toilet paper paper towels from them. They're actual
Big Lots brand. I beginning them for years. They're strong enough,
they're good, and they're like five forty nine for a
roll of six paper towels. It is saying a roll
of eight or twelve of the other I'm beginning for
year solf twelve PA paper towels.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
You'll always need. You'll always need them.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Find if you have a basement or a close or whatever.
Put them in the air the access You're always gonna
need them. That's like, that's one of the few things
I authorize you.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Need to go buy. No one's gonna need them.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
But they're like five forty nine And it doesn't always
say my pocketbook no one says it anymore obviously, but
you know what I mean, it's not bad.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
So I just like you know that the scout shopping.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Is not bad folks, and somebody just have local stores
that have there that they're they're inexpensive. Don't think you
have to get the expensive stuff you see a probably
shop around, don't spend lots of money, let's.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Say there.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
