Speaker 1 (00:01):
So this is an SOS short audio only version. I
do say once in a while for my audio listeners,
I gotta do. Sometimes I've had videos for my just
video listeners. Normally the SRA show jameson Junior is available
audio and video actual episodes. And I got I guess

(00:22):
the episode. I gotta set some stuff up. I had
take care of family stuff, so it's gotten away, but
I have some guests lined up. I gotta work. I
never come in this week. I just so much to do, guys,
so much to do. And that's what it is, and
that's what I wanna talk about you, guys. I wanna
actually for my audio listeners who have been faithful this

(00:43):
whole time.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I'm declaring here.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
On July seventh, twenty twenty five, as I I am overwhelmed.
I'm gonna get down. I'm overwhelmed. I went to my
mom's house. She's a hoarder, which I've told her on
the show for and she knows not anything secretive, but

(01:07):
she's her health is not in the best condition, and
I had stopped. She was my first client. Actually, I
used to you. I used to keep her house to
get her house in order. I did a great job
to me six seven years. I did a good job.
We're getting there. Then we got into a big fight,

(01:30):
as that happens, and I said, nope, I'm done.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I will not be helping you anymore. Your house.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
One Now her husband has passed and she's messing in
health and we've had to do some things. We've had
some challenges. I had to get I had to get
in there. She had failed a couple of times and
she fell on me once. I had a clear space
in the walkway from the living room to the bathroom,

(01:57):
living with this other room that led the kitchen.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
That was.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Going to be a chore. Grandmother had stuff everywhere and
when I found what it was much of it. We're
just empty bags, empty boxes from Amazon, Amazon Fresh.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
I'm a huge bag person. I'm baglady myself, and I
to use everything a mister, if you know, on this show,
so I'll repurposing. We using It's likely all the time.
The bags and Amazon seems are very sturdy. There's sturdy bags.
I hate throwing them out if I have to ask you,

(02:53):
but we're in a situation. It was critical because I
was like, I go, like, where can I It's one
of those things where I couldn't just put stuff another room.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
It's another room. There was no room.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
So you have to clear out this area, and have
to clear out this area, and to clear out this area.
It was a whole chain effect and I do what
happened that morning. My brother and I were there and
I almost started crying. I hadn't seen how bad it was.
It's bad, and it was just said, I understand, I
understand my clients, you come to me. It was a

(03:28):
sea of of just shit. Sorry for the language as
all I was crap, and I just started to cry.
I almost started to cry because it was I get it. It
was over obviously all the time. When you see a
big pile, it's overwhelm. When you say screw it and

(03:48):
you go to you say something stronger and you watch
your business. But I knew I had to do this,
and I told her. I talked to her first s
a girl, I want to you don't have to just
trust me. We got make space. So because that's a
postcon town, and I was like, I want you to
fall in here.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I want to.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
I want to reduce your chance of falling. She has
a walker, and so like you use that. So I
took one of her trash cands, whatever her recycle binds,
and just filled it up for stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
And she was a good girl.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
She didn't she didn't argue, she didn't say nothing, she
didn't argue nothing. She knew I had to do it,
and I actually made room. There's a lot of stuff
in there, but I actually literally made room. I was
very proud of myself.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
I was like, Okay, I did it. And the trip,
it's a trip.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
I I'm telling this, this the story, especially because it's
a person and who I because my parents, and I'm
trying to respectful of all her stuff because I believe
you should be respectful.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
But also you're in one of these dire situations.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
And so in some cases, I'm just putting out movies,
just shit shifting, moving shit around from this place to
that place to this place. And that's you know, we
have a motor home, just stuffs being piled in the
air or garage. I haven't put anything there yet, but
I know that that's what I'm doing, you know what,

(05:38):
for something to truck.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
She's still alive and she still knows it's there. So until.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
She doesn't recognize stuff anymore, I can't really give it
a stuff. And that's to catch twenty two, right, You're like, well,
if your mother starts having mental issues or whatever she
hasn't memory, then you get throw stuff out but then
get rid of it. But your mother has mental issues,
that's always hard too. So it's like, oh my goodness.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
And so that's another story myself, and it's not a
whole of the show, but I just want to share
with you in this short that I do know what
it feels like to be overwhelmed.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
And to have to come in.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
And be overwhelmed and work through that to get started.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
And I had to ad to tide it.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
I had to put a little prayer, talk to my
sister and my aunt, but you know my brother, and
once I pulled together, I made me on progress. So
it's it's so there's and I can teach you how
to do that if you ever want to be coached
on how a lot of help dot Com was with
my coaching services, I can coach you through.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
How to.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Navigate through that pain and that feeling like it was
seriously taller than me a pile. It's taller than I am.
I'm six feet, it's taller than I am. It's a trip,
but I made the There is a slightly happy ending,

(07:28):
and that is I made room. And so that's easy enough.
But it's it's tough watching your mother to carry her
in front of you. Not very easy either, I said,
as a whole or show to hold a story. But
those of you out there who are going through the strike, Lakers,
you have a lot of stuff. I get it. I'm
right there with you. I totally totally get it. I'm

(07:51):
looking at my room right now. It's I've been so
busy with her and other people I had a chance
to and my what I need is like a day
have with lots of energy and.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
I get this room back to shape. I can.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
I'm like, but right now I have no energy. So
I'm expelling it to everybody else and my clients to her.
They get my energy full. James dot Jr. Is organizer
Ready then I come home. I'm so exhausted. So that's
kind of a problem.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
I'm looking.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
I got to I got to this too. I gotta
I gotta fire. I feel this out and I will
figure it out. I will figure it out. I'm James
Engineers organizer. A lot of help dot com. I would
blog and put out every day. That's talks, real talk.
But I'm available for hire of course too, and I'll
talk to you next time.
