Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome to another SOOS short here on JILJBD. I'm James
Lott Jr. S so wes Meinie the super Organizer show,
which is I do a regular show and then I
do these shorts. I just come talk to you for
a few minutes. See what's going on in life? What's
going on. I was too busy to record a full
episode this last week because I had family issues of
happening and so that which happens in life, right, So

(00:24):
I was like, okay, I used to come on and
talk about a little something and I'm actually gonna throw
this question on to you because I was looking this
up online lastly. There's all these different you know, people
and situations and all that you know and and lifestyles,
and it all comes down to our living space, our
living quarters where we live in LA There's a lot

(00:46):
of places popping up and have the small square footage.
I'm talking not not even exaggerating four inner square feet,
five inn a square feet, because that's small. And everybody
just seems to have a lot of stuff, some stuff
just because you live life and you collect things and
everybody's a minimalist. Just sorry, there isn't and I'm not
asking anybody to be a million lest but you got

(01:06):
to find a way to live in these spaces and
be able to move around and find things. And I've
drop drops and that's all kind of stuffs going on.
But I would build you out there, whatever space you
are in, whether it's an apartment or a loft or
a house. Like I'm in a house, small house, big house,
tiny house, two bedroom, three bedsroom, five bedroom, studio, apartment, efficiency,

(01:30):
no kitchen, kitchen. I want to know. I'm curious what
space in your space bugs the crap out of you?
What do you think about it? Do things come to
mind right away? Is it like, do you feel like
I have enough closets space? Enough closets? Is that this

(01:53):
room is shaped weird? It's hard to put stuff in here?
Is it? I don't have enough cabinets. I don't have
enough drawers. I have too many drawers. It's the doorway,
there's just always stuff in the doorway. Is at the
laundry room? Is it a catchall room? Now? Just everything's

(02:16):
in there and you're like, I got your laundry, Oh
my god, I don't want I don't want to look
at it. Drawers is it on the couch. Is it
on your bed? Some of us have a side who's single,
have a side of bed nothing with just nobody's sleeping
next to you. Stuff's on it. I've been I have

(02:38):
recently been doing my best not to do it anymore,
to take this stuff off the bed. But I've been
on the books. I read books and stuff. As soon
as you fall asleep, for example, fall asleep, I'm gonna
get up to them. I fall asleep, so I'm sleeping.
But in the morning, that book, the glasses I used
to read it, the light I may have used to

(02:59):
use with it, my hairband, everything it comes off the bed,
I put it somewhere. I'm like, no more leaving stuff
in my band. But you do work size and band
and stuff, so that's fine. Falls in with the anyway.
So is that a spot? Is there a chair where
everything just drops on the chair? What area in your space?
What space in your space? What area in your area?

(03:20):
It's just always a problem. I'm just try to do
a little. So those of you guys who may not answer
to me, just think about it and then think about
maybe working on an area. But those who do answer me,
when I see this wherever you see this answer comment,
let me know, and I'm gonna see. I'm gonna see

(03:41):
all the responses I get, and then I'll probably do
a show specifically for those responses because I am here
to help. I have ideas and things, so you know,
why not, because I just I just think that you know,
no one's perfect, and everyone has their spaces. And for me,
it's my desk, my office desk, which I'm doing a

(04:02):
lot better now, which I could show it to you, guys,
I can't show you. It's much cleaning eyes. I just
want on my desk the things I have on my
desk so I can write on and stuff all my
files on file I actually do the file system back here.
You can't see it. I'm doing a file system back
there and the whole thing. So I've got a lot
better when it comes to stuff like that I'm trying
to work on, like I need a clear desk because
I just throw stuff on the desk and it just

(04:24):
clears off the desk and I can't work correctly. So
that's my spot. I've been working on that now, and
I have talked about plus plus desk recluttering as one
of the declutterings that say, the previous episodes just show you.
Look up the show and I'll tell you that that stuff.
Check out my blog. A lot of help dot com
that's blog right, kind of stuff on there too. We're

(04:47):
on every streaming service platform. We're on every social media platform.
And the re organize the show. Check us out a
lot of help dot com. Organizer, it's the website. I
we'll talk to you next time.
