Speaker 1 (00:56):
Today we're going to deal with but the topic whosoever.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Will the call to divine equality and eclusion inclusion DEI
in today's text will come from Revelations chapter twenty two,
verses seventeen, and it reads dustly and the Spirit and

(01:28):
the bride say come and let him that hear it, say,
come and let him that is a thirst come and
whosoever will let him take the water of life freely.
Once again, we want to dive into the topic whosoever

(01:51):
will the call to divine equality and inclusion DEI? I
know that sounds like a controversial topic, right now, but
we're going to talk about it from a biblical standpoint.

(02:12):
But what I am going to do right now something
that I haven't done in a while. I'm gonna give
you ministry moments with Maria. So we're gonna have Sister

(03:14):
sing of salvation and home man a broad Tell me
he shall hear the truth and trust in God. Because
He brought me out of the my relay, He setting
my feet on a rock to stay. He puts a

(03:35):
song in my soul to day.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
A song of praise.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Hollay Lou, great day, and welcome to ministry moments with Maria.
God has given all of us a song in our
spirit that the angels cannot sing. Only we can sing
that song of praise to Him. So going today, I
encourage you to sing a song to the redeemer of

(04:04):
your soul.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
God loves you on today.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
I love you have a great rest of your day.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
And we say thank you, Maria for those ministry moments
as we get ready to dive into whosoever will the
call to divine equality and inclusion once again, the text reads,
and the Spirit and the bride say, come and let

(04:31):
him that hear it, say come and let him that
is a thirst, Come and whosoever will, let him take
the word of life freely. This verse encapulates the essence
of divine equality and inclusion, inviting all to partake in
the grace and love of God. First, it is an

(04:54):
invitation of God, a universal call. The first thing we
notice in this passage is the universal invitation extended by God.
The phrase whosoever will is a powerful declaration that the
invitation to come to Christ is not limited by race, gender,

(05:16):
social status, or any other human distinction. Let me just
pause right there, because I know from a political standpoint,
some people were up in arms when President Donald Trump
decided to sign an executive arder doing away with DEI diversity,

(05:43):
equality and inclusion. But can I share something with you.
A friend of mine that posted on her believe it
was her Facebook or snap Chat page, and she.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Addressed people of color.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
I'm going to address from both a secular and spiritual realm.
In the secular world, there are just some places where
we're trying to be included in that we're not wanted in,
first and foremost, and what you have to realize when

(06:20):
these orders are being signed and when people don't want
you in certain places, instead of getting upset and wanting
to get out and protest, you should be shouting for
joy because now you are seeing people's true colors. The
old saying used to be like this, Why be someplace

(06:45):
where I'm not wanted? People always say they want God
to reveal something to them, but when He does reveal
it to him, they're not ready to accept it. As
a Christian, there are just some places we shouldn't want
to be included in. If it doesn't lift up the

(07:07):
name of Jesus, if it doesn't magnify God, if we're
in a place where we can't let our lights shine
before men that they may see our good works and
glorify God, which is in heaven, then we just might
be in the wrong place.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Now, now think on that for a little bit.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Inclusivity in God's kingdom. Throughout scripture we see God's heart
for all people. In Galatians three and twenty eight, Paul writes,
there is neither jew nor gentile, neither slave nor free,
nor is there male and female, For you are all
one in Christ Jesus. This is the essence of divine

(08:00):
and equality. Let me run you back to this again.
Through our scripture we see God's heart for all people.
In Galations three and twenty eight, Paul writes, there is
neither jew nor gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is
there male and female, For you are all one in

(08:22):
Christ Jesus. This is the essence of divine equality. God
does not see us through the lens of our differences,
but through the lens of His love. The invitation in
Revelation is a continuation of this theme. It is a

(08:43):
call to all who are weary, thirsty, and seeking. It
is a reminder that no one is excluded from the
grace of God. Now I told you the topic of
this less today was divine equality and inclusion, but not

(09:10):
as the world sees it. This is through the eyes
of God. Like I said, while ago some things, when
people show you where you're not wanted, you shouldn't be
upset when orders are signed doing away with certain things.

(09:31):
Once again, when President Trump decided to sign the executive
Order doing away.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
With DEI I I wasn't bothered by it one bit
because it showed me.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
As a person, as a human and as a people,
some places.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
We just aren't wanted.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Christians, the devil will show you himself there are some
places you aren't wanted. It doesn't mean not to shine
your light in dark places. It's just that there are
some places as Christians we have no business being.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
And when people show.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Us that we're not welcomed, there is a scriptorial reference.
You can wipe the dust off your feet and move on.
Once again, this invitation in the Revelation is a continuation
of this thing. It is a call to all who
are weary, thirsty, and seeking. It is a reminder that

(10:50):
no one is excluded from the grace of God. But
I'm gonna add this to it. Even though you're not excluded,
some things you're going to have to let go of.

(11:13):
You have to repent in turn from your evil ways,
and your lifestyle is going to have to line up
with the Word of God. The one thing I am
tasked with doing is preaching and teaching the Word of God.
And not just preaching and teaching parts of the Bible,

(11:35):
but the whole Bible. The role of the Spirit and
the Bride. The Spirit and the Bride the Church are
united in this call. This signifies that the mission of
the church is to reflect God's inclusive nature. We are
called to be agents of inclusion, welcoming all who seek

(12:00):
the Lord. As the Church, we must embody this invitation.
Are we creating spaces where everyone feels welcome? Are we
breaking down barriers that divide us? Only you can answer

(12:22):
that question, those questions. And let me just add this.
I heard a pastor stand before his congregation, and I
understood exactly what he was saying.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
When he said what he said. He said someone had asked.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Him if gay people came your church, would you let him.
His answer was yes, he said, But it's not gonna
stop me from preaching the gospel. It's not gonna stop
me from preaching about sin. He says, I'm gonna keep

(13:04):
preaching the gospel.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Now.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
If they know that their lifestyle doesn't line up with
the Word of God, if they can stand me preaching
the gospel, by all means, they're welcome to come.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
In other words, we're not.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
In the turning away business. We're in the accepting business.
If you decide that I'm gonna accept Jesus Christ as
my personal savior and live my life according to what
the Word of God says, the Bible has not changed
its mind one bit. The Bible still says man shall

(13:39):
not live with man as woman, and woman shall not
let with woman as man. That's Bible. Am I gonna
to judge you? No, I'm not, because I can't judge
you on your sin when I have my own sins
I have to deal with. Matter of fact, The Bible declares,

(14:03):
judge not that ye not be judged for the same
measure in which ye judge someone, at the same measure
which you shall be judged. So who am I to judge?
And let me dispel this rumor as well too. There
is no big sin, and there is no little sin.

(14:25):
In the eyesight of God.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Sin is sin.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
So now that we have that straight, we can move
on the thirst for living water. This verse continues the
phrase let him that is a thirst come. This speaks
to the deep spiritual thirst that exists within every human heart.
Recognizing our thirst. In a world filled with distractions and

(14:53):
false promises, many are searching for true fulfillment. Jesus spoken
thirst in John four and fourteen, saying, whoever drinks the
water I give them will never thirst. The living water
he offers is a gift of eternal life and satisfaction.

(15:15):
We must recognize that everyone has a thirst for someone,
for something greater. Our role as believers is to point
them to the source of that living water. And I
believe that's what the woman at the well did when
she met with Jesus at the well, and Jesus told her,

(15:36):
in her words, told me everything about myself, dropped everything
she was doing, went out and knows it about She said,
come see a man.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
This man told me everything about myself. Is this not
the Christ? So when we.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Get through doing all theirs do at the end of
the day, point them to the source. Meeting needs with compassion.
As we engage with those around us, we must approach
them with compassion and understand it. Many are struggling with
issues of identity, belonging, and acceptance. Our response should be

(16:28):
one of love and inclusion, reflecting the heart of Christ.
We are called to meet people where they are, And
when you think about it, Christ met us.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Where we were.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
I believe the one who penned the song Amazing Grace,
couldn't appen a better song when you said, amazing grace,
how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.
Our once was lost, but now I'm found. Was blind,

(17:00):
But now I see. If Christ had not meant us
where we were at, where would we be. So once
again we're called to meet people where they are, acknowledging
their thirst and offering them the hope found in Jesus.

(17:23):
So there is a call to action. Let him take
the water of life freely. Finally, the verse concludes with
the exportation to let him take the water of life freely.
This emphasizes the grace of God that is available to all.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Grace is unmerited. The water of life is offered freely
without cost.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
This is a radical concept in the world that often
demand's payment or performance. God's grace is not something we earn.
It is a gift freely given. We must remember that
our role is not to judge who is worthy of
this grace, but to share it generously with all.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Empowering others.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
As we embrace the message of divine equality and inclusion,
we empower others to come to Christ. We must create
environments where people feel safe to explore their faith, ask questions,
and encounter the love of God. This is not just
a call for individual action, but a collective mission. Together,

(18:34):
as the Body of Christ, we can make a difference
in our community by embodying the principles of Dei divine
equality and inclusion. In my closing, as we reflect on
Revelation twenty two and seventeen, let us be reminded of
the beautiful invitation extended to all of humanity, whosoever will

(18:57):
let him come. This is not just statement, It is
a divine mandate for us as followers of Christ. Let
us commit ourselves to be in a church that embodies
divine equality and inclusion.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
May we be known for our love.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Our acceptance, and our willingness to invite everyone to experience
the living water that only Jesus can provide. As we
reflect upon this message, let us carry this message into
our lives and the life of others, ensuring that our
actions reflect the heart of God, a heart that desires

(19:37):
all to come and drink freely from the well of
so our faith. I want to say that I hope
today that this podcast.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Has been a blessing to you.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
As I always say, I don't say anything new.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
If it blesses you, bless them somebody else.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
In other words, be blessed, be a blessed until the
next time, God bless I'm out.
