not Bitter host, Todd Huff.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Well, greetings, my friends on this which is I guess,
the last full week of the year, at least as
far as I'm concerned. We've got Christmas next week, New
Year's the following week, so we won't be here that
entire time, but we certainly will be here some of
those days. But this is the last full week. It
may be the last full week for many of you
as well. Time is, man, It's amazing how fast time goes.
(00:59):
The older that I get, so time goes fast. Time flies,
as they say, when you're having fun, which of course
you have when you tune in here, my friends, I
want to listen Wednesday evening, Trump gave a speech and
I want to play and talk about that today. That's
what I want to focus on. Lots of things happening
here across this nation. Lots of news worthy events, lots
(01:22):
of things that I think we want to try to
talk about in as much depth as possible, and this
is one of them because I think it's it was
a good speech. I've heard some I guess some analysis
of the speech from me, folks like Jimmy Kimmel, who
said it was just Trump's screaming. It's just crazy to
(01:44):
me what these people here. Projection is a real thing.
So he certainly got a little bit animated, but nowhere
near yelling. It's just it's wild to me anyway. So
I want to talk about that. I want to talk
about really the progress that we've made in this nation,
where we're headed as we turn the calendar into twenty
twenty six, which of course is a mid term election year.
(02:06):
There's a lot to look forward to in twenty twenty six,
and there's actually a lot of potential pitfalls as well,
including that election which is now just less than eleven
months away, which is crazy to think about. So that's
the direction we're headed today, my friends. I appreciate you
tuning in, folks. I know you care about this country.
(02:28):
You tune in here every day, you follow the news,
you stay on top of what's happening. You tell your
children or your grandchildren about this wonderful place. You defend
and stand up for free speech and the freedom of
religion and all those sorts of things. And I know
that you do. But you got to stay healthy to
stay in this fight, my friends. And one of the ways,
(02:52):
one of the things that can help you stay healthy
is salty. Salty has been clinically proven to lower cholesterol.
Do so safely in an all natural way, no prescriptions,
no doctors visits. All you have to do is take
two saltysoft jails a day. It's not a drug, but

by the way, the only thing you have to lose
are those high cholesterol numbers. Salty dot Com promo code Todd.
All right, let's begin here. I want to play I
just want to play this speech. I want to talk
about it. President Trump standing between two Christmas trees in
(03:55):
the White House, President a portrait of President George Washington,
which half of America doesn't know who that is? Have
you seen some of these men on the street interviews.
By the way, as I look at George Washington, I wonder,
I wonder how many of these people who could name
you every single Kardashian in the bloodline. I wonder how
(04:16):
many people know who George Washington is? First of all,
just by putting his portrait up. I bet it would
blow my mind. I don't want to know. I don't
want to know how few people know who George Washington
is just by showing his portrait. But even if you
said this is George Washington, how many people would know
who that was? And, by the way, this is one
(04:38):
of the reasons, just the lack of knowledge and education,
by the way, from the people, the people who tell
us we need to pour more into public schooling produced
kids that have no idea who the first president under
our constitution was one of the great great Americans, founding
father unanimous everybody wanted George Washington to be the president
(05:03):
in those days, the founders all trying to find a way.
They just assumed George Washington was going to be the president,
the first president, and he was, of course. But anyway,
that's the background here. Trump, of course, between got the
American flag back there and everything else, he takes to
the podium to address the nation. Now, what's he really
trying to do Trump is this is kind of like
(05:27):
a State of the Union speech before the State of
the Union speech is due. In fact, Trump will give
his State of the Union speech sometime probably it's usually February.
They've moved it into March sometime. That was with Biden, though,
they were trying to make us forget that he was
supposed to give a State of the Union because you know,
he really really wasn't capable of doing that. But this
(05:51):
is kind of like a precursor to that. It's like
a year in review almost, And I think it's a
good thing. I think it's a good thing, especially with
everything going on in this country. I think this what
we've endured. I compare what it was like. I've talked
about and followed politics for a long time for thirty
(06:12):
thirty or thirty two, thirty three years something like that.
And I compare the dialogue and discourse from twenty five
or thirty years ago to what it is today, or
the number of competing headlines that we have today versus
what those headlines were back in the nineteen nineties early
two thousands. I'm not saying we didn't have problems by
(06:35):
any stretch of the imagination, but now it has hit
a fevered pitch. It is just off the charts as
far as it goes, and it's easy to lose track
of where we've come from because, friends, a lot of
the I guess a lot of the ground that we
lost as freedom loving Americans happened kind of when people
(06:56):
weren't paying attention. Now, many of you were, especially those
of you who are more seasoned in your years like me,
You would have you saw these things coming. You remember
talking about them at the time. But a lot of
Americans were asleep at the wheel. They didn't even know
they were at the wheel. They were apathetic, they were disconnected.
I've shared before when my father in law retired and
(07:20):
started watching the news on a regular basis, we started
having more political discussions. He went from a guy that
was kind of apathetic to politics to one who wanted
to talk about it virtually every time I saw him,
the whole time. That and the grandkids, of course, but
he realized, you know, hey, I was busy. And I
(07:42):
think a lot of Americans relate to this. He was busy.
He was a single father, raising a family, helping his
kids go to college and all this sort of stuff,
working worked the same job for forty something years, I believe, retired.
And I think that's what a lot of people do.
You know, as you become an adult, you have children,
I mean, you get busy. And I remember I remember
(08:05):
as a as a college kid, thinking I was busy
when I was playing football and taking eighteen hours of
class and doing whatever else I was doing at church
or whatever. And I'm not saying I wasn't busy, but
there's a new level of a next level of busy
when you've got kids in sports, you know, other activities,
(08:25):
running businesses, managing a household, homeschooling and all that kind
of stuff. It's a different level of busy to where
it's easy to lose I guess, complete kind of lose
the narrative sometimes, right, your your heads, you get your
head down. You're plowing ahead, and you're trying to keep things,
(08:48):
keep things moving forward for your family, meets your responsibilities
and all that. And I think a lot of people
had been asleep at the wheel for a long time.
Plus we didn't have you know, we didn't have the Internet.
The information wasn't out there. The information and the misinformation,
the misinformation has always been out there. Like even Mark Twain,
what did he say? I think it was Mark Twain
who said if I read if I don't read the paper,
(09:13):
i'm uneducated, or I forget the terms of use. Basically,
I don't know what's happening. If I read the paper,
I don't know what's happening either, basically because they're lying
to me. So there's always been that element out there,
and it's it's been a big element no matter when
we've you grew up paying attention to the news and
(09:34):
so forth. But anyway, Trump says, listen, I want to
I want to give a speech that kind of summarizes
what's been going on for those of you who are busy,
for those of you maybe who have been following. But
there are so many things that we need to be
concerned about from the financial calamity in this nation, our
incredible debt, the inflation that we've endured, the open borders
(09:57):
that we've dealt with, the threat of terrorism which we've had,
which of course we've seen in this recent Bondy Beach
shooting in Australia. I mean, the list goes on and on.
High inflation numbers that have driven things up. Trump's trying
to and his team and the Republicans are trying to
deal with this. Lots of things to deal with. And
(10:21):
so Trump says, I'm going to give you a speech,
and I want to remind you of how much better
things are than they were just eleven months ago. So
he takes to the podium. That's his intention here, and
I want to play this and I want to talk
about it. And by the way, if you haven't seen it,
and I won't get through all of this, but it
will be. The link will be on our website tatashow
(10:43):
dot com, or you can go to the White House's
YouTube page. It's there, or you can google it whatever's
easier for you. If you want to watch the whole thing.
I always watch these things on higher speed. So it
was an eighteen minute speech. If you can listen to
it at double time, it's nine minutes. So anyway, we
won't do that to you here on the radio or
podcast today, but I will play it now we'll talk
(11:05):
about it. Trump giving a summary of what has happened, positively,
the direction that we're now on. Think thank god that
we are on this direction towards cleaning up the colossal mess, mismanagement,
and just intentional destruction that's been that's been put upon
(11:27):
this country, placed upon this country by those who hate
it or who are just completely inept in their abilities
to manage it. So that being said, here's Trump taking
to the podium to tell you, remind us what has
been happening, what we're doing, where we're headed, the improvements
that have been made in twenty twenty five, and what
is to come in twenty twenty six. So here you go,
(11:47):
sing America.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Eleven months ago, I inherited a mess, and I'm fixing it.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
He did.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
When I took office, inflation was the worst in forty
eight years, and some would say in the history of
our country, which caused prices to be higher than ever before,
making life unaffordable for millions and millions of Americans.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
You know. By the way, the Democrats, I've touched on
this briefly for their twenty twenty six midterm campaign. I
read something that said that there. I don't know if
it'll be either slogan or if it's just kind of,
you know, tongue in cheek because it's playing off of
Trump's terminology, but make America affordable again, which is wild
(12:31):
to me because all of this unaffordability came, like Trump
is saying here, prior to Trump coming into the White House,
what we were subjected to under Biden's years were absolute
economic mayhem. It was just everywhere you looked, it was
(12:53):
just a mess. As Trump says, he's inherited a mess.
He's trying to fix it. We've made some ground up
in in the past eleven months. By the way, you
may have seen that inflation numbers are at two point
seven percent. That's lower than expected, although that's a little
bit there's a lot of question marks with that because
those numbers are really only based on two weeks of data.
(13:16):
We also didn't have numbers for October because of the
government shut down. That's impacted a lot of things, So
there's a lot of question marks. But still that's the
lowest inflation number we've had since I believe, March of
twenty one, which is right when Trump was effectively leaving office.
(13:37):
The first time. It was January of twenty one when
you left office. But you get the idea, that's basically
since Trump's last inflation numbers are lower than they've been
since the last time Trump was in office. So we're
heading in the right direction in spite of what the
left wants to tell you, what the Democrat Party wants
to tell you for political purposes, we're heading in the
(13:57):
right direction now. Unfortunately, when it comes to inflation, just
because you slow the rate of inflation, it doesn't mean
price has come down. It means that the rate of
increase basically is less. But your starting point is still
the mess that was created. Now, there are other factors
besides just inflation that led. I don't want to get
(14:19):
into the technicalities of this, but inflation is a Inflation
is a phenomenon that's created only by the federal government.
It's uniform across the board. It's not saying that something
increased in prices this percent in the field with food
and this percent for gas. Yes, the prices may have
fluctuated that much, but not everything that's tied to prices
(14:42):
is said to be inflation. We've gotten lazy, We've gotten
lazy as Americans, or maybe stupid as Americans, to where
they talk to us as though any change in price
is inflation. But that's not true. Prices change. Inflation is
specifically when the government excuse me, produces prints, so to speak,
(15:05):
too much currency, creates it digitally in today's world, just
putting some numbers and dropping it into one of the
bank's accounts so that they can lend it or whatever.
But the bottom line is the bottom line is they
create too much of it. That's what inflation is. It
makes the dollar that's out there, the dollar that you're earning,
worth less, not completely worthless, but heading in that direction.
(15:29):
But Trump says, I've inherited an economy that had a
forty eight year high on inflation, and that's the truth.
And they've made tremendous gains in getting that under control.
So let's continue listening to Trump here.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
This happened during a Democrat administration, and it's when we
first began hearing the word affordability. Our border was open
and because of this, Our country was being invaded by
an army of twenty five million people, many who came
from prisons, in jails, mental institutions, and insane asylums. They
(16:06):
were drug dealers, gang members, and even eleven eight and
eighty eight murders, more than fifty percent of whom killed
more than one person. This is what the Biden administration
allowed to happen to our country, and it can never
be allowed to happen again.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
He's exactly right. It's easy. It's easy to forget, you know.
Politics moves. The narrative of the day anyway, moves at
the metaphorical speed of light. It's one thing after another.
You may have followed the Brown shooting. You may have
seen that they believe that the individual, the perpetrator, the shooter,
(16:47):
was found in a storage unit having a self inflicted
what they believe is a self inflicted gunshot wound, believing
taking his own life. You may have followed that story.
You may be following the story of the terrorist shooting
in Bondi Beach, Australia, which includes other threats that are
(17:08):
in Australia, which we have other threats here as well,
which have come many times directly across our southern border.
It is unbelievable the damage, the disregard for the American people,
the disregard for the safety of the American people that
the previous administration had for this country, the absolute disdain
(17:34):
simply for political convenience, whether that was to control the narrative,
to show the world how hospitable and how just kind
and loving they were to people as they fluttered across
the southern border, which of course is one angle. But
of course the other angle is this is a political
(17:54):
operation where they're trying to well, to get more votes
and to remake America. You know, when you bring people,
take the race, ethnicity, all that stuff instead it aside.
I know in today's world a lot of people can't
do that. I know you, of course can, because you're thinkers.
But you know, if you take all that aside and
you say, at some point, if you're bringing people in here,
(18:16):
forget what they look like. If it helps pretend that
they're all white, it doesn't matter to me. But at
some point, if you bring people into this country who
don't understand this country, who want to bring whatever it
is from their countries with them, the countries that they're fleeing.
Bring that into this country. It's not going to work.
(18:37):
There's a reason that this country is what it is.
There's something that it means to be American. There are
foundational principles upon which this country has been built that
is being eroded in an unimaginable way by just opening
it up to people to come to from around the
(18:57):
world without any attempt at a similar or education or
anything like that. And then, of course, on top of that,
you don't teach your own citizens about this country. A
lot of these high school courses are taught by leftists
who hate this nation. Not every one, of course, not.
There's some America loving teachers out there who teach civics
(19:19):
and American history every day. But there's also those who
are teaching the new version of American history out there,
all the catchphrases of the day right. And this is intentional,
this is strategic. This is what the left needs to
win elections. I've shared with you the twenty twenty census
(19:41):
included these numbers of people. There are states that would
have that would have other representatives, more representatives than they
have today if illegal immigrants were not factored into the mix.
And there are states who have congressional districts that would
not exist congressional seats and electoral votes bight. I add
that that they would not have if these folks were
(20:02):
not counted in the census. This was an unmitigated disaster.
It was strategic, it was intentional. This is how the
left wants to win politically. This is how the left
wants to recreate America to be something that it was
not intended to be. It was criminal what they were
doing by having these open borders. Trump continues here on
(20:23):
this though.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
We had men playing in women's sports, transgender for everybody,
crime at record levels, with law enforcement and words such
as that just absolutely forbidden. We had the worst trade
deals ever made, and our country was laughed at from
all over the world. But they're not laughing anymore. Over
(20:46):
the past eleven months, we have brought more positive change
to Washington than any administration in American history. There's never
been anything like it, and I think most would agree.
I was elected in a landslide, winning the popular vote
and all seven swing states and everything else, with a
(21:08):
mandate to take on a sick and corrupt system that
extra really just took the wealth from people and crushed
the dreams of the American people true. For the last
four years, the United States was ruled by politicians who
fought only for insiders, illegal aliens, career criminals, corporate lobbyists, prisoners, terrorists,
(21:30):
and above all, foreign nations which took advantage of US
at levels never seen before. They flooded your cities and
towns with illegal aliens. They decimated your hard earned savings,
They indoctrinated your children with hate for America. Released really,
I mean, they just released a level of violent felons
(21:51):
that we had never seen to prey on innocent They
caused war, they caused mayem they caused a horrible situation
all over the glow. But now you have a president
of who fights for the law abiding, hard working people
of our country, the ones who make this nation run,
who make this nation work. And after just one.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
Yard, I gotta pause that, my friends, got to get
to time out. We'll continue talking about this, but it's
easy to forget how bad it was eleven months ago. Friends.
Let's face it, there's a lot of companies out there
that don't share your values. The good news is that
you don't have to invest in them. At four eight
financial they specialize in biblically responsible investing. They'll help you
(22:34):
create a plan that helps you screen out companies, and
they'll do this for you. They screen out companies that
go against your faith, your values, create a plan that's
tailored to your goals. They'll handle all that heavy lifting
so you can focus on what really matters. So all
you have to do is go to four eight financial
dot com slash Todd, do a quick assessment, and they
will tell you to what degree your current investments align
(22:56):
with your values. I got to give time out my
friends back here in just a minute. Welcome back my friends.
Sorry I had to jump off there so quickly. In
the last segment, I told Oz during the break there,
it's hard to when you're playing clips from Trump. And
this is not an insult. It dishumors me. His sentences
run on. Sometimes he's got a lot to say, keeps
(23:19):
adding adjectives and descriptions, and maybe from time to time
a little you know, a little chasing of a rabbit
here or there, going off teleprompter from time to time,
no doubt, and it's hard to know where to hit
that brake. So I love it. I don't want you
to misunderstand. I enjoy it. It's all that this is
(23:39):
good stuff. What he's doing here. The American people absolutely
need to hear it. And I want to continue going
through this because this is my friends. This is one
of the things we have to do. I mean, communication
is key in restoring America to her constitutional roots. So
(24:00):
that's where we're headed. That is absolutely where we're heading.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Now.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
I want to tell you something. For those of you
in Indiana, you may have wondered this. You may have
wondered this. Indiana's home base. For me, I got a message.
I've got I got a message because I had One
of the advertisers, which I talk about on this program
is Christopher's Organic Botanicals. And I've shared with you there's
(24:25):
confusion about this. I've shared with you that you know,
the the headlines and some bad news, bad bad headlines,
bad stories for creative. But those stories are connected to
synthetic junk, not real creative, and from some shady people
(24:48):
who sell it. And it's it's currently it's currently illegal
in the state of Indiana. You can't get creative here.
And so I had someone message me and say, what's
what's up with that? Well, first of all just I'm
Indiana based in the sense that I'm from Indiana, but
we're on twenty some stations around the country, so in fact,
(25:10):
most of our listeners are not Hoosiers. So Healthy Chunk
is Indiana, but a lot or not. So that's number one,
So we have a national audience. Number two. Christopher's Organic Botanicals,
they're trying to educate people on real creatim. Actually admire
what they're trying to do here. They're trying to they're
(25:32):
trying to get the story out about real kretims so
that people can understand kind of what we talk about
here on the program that the danger comes from those
that use chemicals and it's not it's not organic, it's
synthetic stuff and all of that, and so we talk
(25:54):
about it on here. Indiana. Actually that there was a
bill introduced to to take away the stat you know,
to make it no longer illegal, but to make it
a controlled substance, and so it didn't get out of committee,
but these are ongoing discussions and so it's one of
the things that Christopher's Organic is trying to do is
just to increase awareness and help people to see that hey,
(26:17):
this there's a better way to do this than just outlawed,
because there's a lot of good that people have had
from using this product and it's a lot better. At
least you can make the case. At least some people
have concluded that it's you know, when you look at
some of the side effects and risks of other things
when you're dealing with discomfort and so forth. Anyway, so
(26:41):
if you're just wanting to learn more research, Christopher's Organic
Botanicals dot Com can help you with that. If you're
in a state where it's legal, and it is legal
in most of the country, you can go to Christopher's
Organic Botanicals dot Com. Use coupon code Todd Huff get
ten percent off the Creative Starter pack. Again, Christopher's Organic
Botanicals dot Com coupon code Todd Huff will save you
(27:02):
ten percent. Chris should be true tradition transparency, my friends,
and that's listen. When it comes to those of you
in Indiana, this is something that as you maybe maybe
some of you are familiar with this. It could be
something that you could have conversations with people who are
running for office. It's something that will be popping back
(27:25):
up or likely could be popping back up here, and
it could be something that becomes legal and of course
regulated here in the state. But that's what a lot
of states have done. So that's why they're on here.
Christopher's organic botanicals. All right, So let's get back here.
It's a Trump's speech. I want to get to as
much of this as we can. I'm on to pick
up right where I left him last segment, kind of
(27:47):
giving us a summary of where we've been, the risks
of illegal immigration. He talked about the dangers of high
inflation that were inflicted upon us by those in the
Biden administration, the autopen administration. And Trump continues here to
remind people how far we've come in just eleven short
many year.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
We have achieved more than anyone could have imagined. Starting
on day one, I took immediate action to stop the
invasion of our southern border. For the past seven months,
zero illegal aliens have been allowed into our country, which
everyone said was absolutely impossible. Do you remember when Joe
Biden said that he needed Congress to pass legislation to
(28:28):
help close the border.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
It's a great line.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
He was always blaming Congress and everyone else. As it
turned out, we didn't need legislation. We just needed a
new president.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
I love that line. By the way. He used that.
If you remember earlier this year when they made the
changes to how the border was being dealt with, He
made this comment back in probably March, when the initial
data started coming in. He said, look, we had a president,
tell us we need a new legislation. We didn't need
(28:58):
new legislation. We just need a new president. And I
love that, by the way. So many of these things. Listen,
everything that we all, the problems that we face in
this country are certainly not political. There's certainly not there's
a lot of problems. To my friends within the American culture.
I think the biggest problem we have, you know, my
stance on this is that Americans have turned their backs.
(29:22):
Not again, I'm talking collectively. I don't mean individually. You
certainly cannot may not be in this group. But America
in a lot of ways has turned its back on
how this nation was founded and more importantly, the biblical
principles upon which are fundamental in this great nation. And
(29:42):
we've turned our backs on those principles, on the Word
of God, on God himself. And listen, for those of
us who have studied the scriptures. I mean it's not
there are patterns that you can see studying the scriptures,
and when people put themselves up to be enemies to
(30:02):
the Word of God, or when people when people who
are His children turn their back on or stop making
it a priority. That's not a good situation to find
ourselves in. And I think that this nation, more than anything,
needs a collective turning. Of course, that we can't collectively turn.
(30:24):
We individually turn, but lots of us turning towards the
gospel of Jesus Christ, towards the truth that we find
in the scriptures, allowing him to purify and sanctify us
and change us. We've got a spiritual war that's waging
in this country, a cultural battle. Not all these things
are political, A lot of them are. There's no doubt
(30:45):
politics becomes the battle front. This is where a lot
of these things are being fought. Not everything is good
versus evil, but some of these things are. Some of
these things absolutely are to watch as we've had a
nation that's being led by people that have such a
disregard for the rule of law. It's amazing to me.
(31:09):
I did today's Todd talk on this. Hannah dug and
judge Hanna Dugan was just convicted, well, she was just
found guilty. I think it was yesterday. This is the
judge in Milwaukee, I believe, Wisconsin, who was trying to
help an illegal alien get away from Ice, from being
(31:30):
arrested and deported or whatever was to follow from that.
And you have a judge that's doing that. And for
some people, it's shocking to think that there are judges
who would interfere with the enforcement of the law. But
we had presidents, my friends, who totally ignored what the
law was and acted like they didn't know that we
could and should secure the border, that there were tools
(31:53):
at their disposal that they simply haven't used for decades.
Trump of course being the exception here. But these laws
have been ignored, The responsibility had been abdicated by these folks,
and America suffered tremendously in a lot of ways, a
lot of ways. And that's what Trump's talking about here.
(32:14):
We didn't need new laws, We just needed a new president,
he continued.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
We inherited the worst border anywhere in the world, and
we quickly turned it into the strongest border in the
history of our country. In other words, in a few
short months, we went from worst to best with deporting criminals,
restoring safety to our most dangerous cities. Just take a
look at Washington DCL.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Showing the law.
Speaker 3 (32:38):
It's at levels of safety that we've never seen before.
And they decimated the bloodthursty foreign drug cartels. We did
that all by ourselves, with our people, and we're so
proud of it because they were poisoning and destroying our population.
Drugs brought in by ocean and by sea are now
(32:59):
down twenty four percent. We have broken the grip of sinister,
woke radicals in our schools, and control over those schools
is back now in the hands of our great and
loving states where education belongs.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
I got to pause there, just due to time. There
have been massive steps I mean talking here about the
Department of Education, by the way, I mean education is
still moving ahead here. Obviously there's problems in education, the
same problems that existed before, but now states can have
more of a hand in fixing those things. They acted
like the society as we knew it would would end
(33:36):
as the Department of Education was dismantled. I mean, the
things that we have been subjected to, and it's good
to get this reminder from the President. The things that
we have even seen fixed, sometimes dramatically fixed one hundred
and eighty degree turns here in the past eleven months
are remarkable. So timeouts in order, my friends, sit tight

Trump was saying Wednesday night here, I don't have a

get to as much of this as as I can.

did miss it, you can go to the White House's
YouTube channel. You can go to our website for today's
(35:23):
stack of stuff. You'll find the link there. You can
google it, whatever the case may be. But I want
to play as much of this as I can in
the time that we have remaining. President continues here.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
After rebuilding the United States military in my first term,
and with the addition we are adding right now, we
have the most powerful military anywhere in the world, and
it's not even close.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
That's good.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
I've restored American strength, settled eight wars in ten months,
destroyed the Iran nuclear threat, and ended the war in Gaza,
bring in for the first time in three thousand years,
peace to the Middle and secured the release of the hostages,
both living and dead. Here at home, we're bringing our
(36:08):
economy back from the brink of ruin. The last administration
and their allies in Congress looted our treasury for trillions
of dollars, driving up prices and everything at levels never
seen before. I am bringing those high prices down and
bringing them down very fast. Let's look at the facts.
Under the Biden administration, car prices rose twenty two percent
(36:32):
and in many states thirty percent or more. Gasoline rose
thirty to fifty percent, hotel rates rose thirty seven percent,
airfares rose thirty one percent. Now under our leadership, they
are all coming down, and coming down fast. Democrat politicians
also sent the cost of grocery staring, but we are
(36:53):
solving that too. The price of a Thanksgiving turkey was
down thirty three percent compared to the last year. The
price of eggs is down eighty two percent since March,
and everything else is falling rapidly. And it's not done yet,
but boy, are we making progress.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
Nobody now if you remember, I remember when when Trump
took office, the price of eggs was something that the
Democrats talked about a lot. If you want to know
if something is heading in the direction of the Democrats
narrative or not, just look at how often they talk
about it. They don't talk about it now because Trump
(37:34):
has done. Listen, the economy, the economy is up to
the people in the business sector. I mean, there's a
the things that happen there are the results of businesses
and consumers. There's a lot of factors, but certainly one
(37:56):
of the big factors are the policies that are being
instituted set in place in this country. And when the
country is afraid of what the lunatics running the government
are going to do. When we have lunatics in charge,
it makes things harder. I mean a lot of what
happens in the economy is what people think is going
(38:19):
to be coming next. And when you have someone like
Biden running the economy or running this nation, making these
decisions and makes people On top of the bad policies,
by the way, on top of the inflation, which was
one hundred percent the fault of the federal government, you
also have the the reality that these other factors are
(38:47):
contributing to the economy just because how much confidence is
there in the leaders, how much confidence is there amongst
business owners that there won't be additional bureau atic red
tape or burdens placed upon them when they have faith
that they're not being targeted, or that the people in
(39:11):
decision making roles are not going to make things harder
for them to run their business. They become more optimistic.
They're willing to take more risks, they're willing to hire
more people, they're willing to have new locations, facilities. Some
businesses listen, you have to be able to operate in
(39:33):
all environments as entrepreneurs, as businesses. But whenever you are
dealing with an administration or a government that you are
comfortable in knowing that they're not going to come and
throw some additional bureaucratic piece of red tape in my
way or put a financial burden upon me, then it
(39:57):
begins to lighten the load. And that's what we've seen.
The country knows that the president. The president is business friendly,
he's not like what we've had, and things are absolutely improving.
They only had one way to go. He had a
lot more to say about this, my friends. What I
care about the most is just I think, number one,
(40:19):
it's wonderful to communicate these things because it's easy to
forget what we've been through. So I like that number one.
Number two. Number two, he's taking control of the narrative
and he's telling us that, hey, here's the priorities, here's
where we've been, here's what we've accomplished, and if you
watch the full speech, he also kind of lays out
(40:41):
where we're heading a little bit of a State of
the Union address, so to speak. Here, but I'm out
of time, got to run. Have a great weekend, SDG.
