And now it's time for a brand new show on
KA The Uncommon Sense Democrats with your host Eric Bauman,
A show about politics and contemporary issues. And now here's
Eric Bauman.
Speaker 11 (06:13):
Hey, ladies and gentlemen, what a strange week we're having.
Hang on a second, I'm just trying to figure out
how to join a call in here. So Eric, can
(06:35):
you hear me?
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Yeah, you're good in live.
Speaker 11 (06:39):
Okay? And Alex can you hear me?
Speaker 12 (06:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (06:44):
Okay? All right, am I fully introduced?
Speaker 6 (06:47):
Now, yeah, you're good to go.
Speaker 11 (06:53):
Okay. So I'm live for the air. All right, A
good wet afternoon and soon to be worse. I'm from
southern California. Here we two main topics I wanted to
(07:18):
dig into today, or at least groups of topics, and
one of them has to do with the California Democratic
Party in the DNC, and then a number of Trump
related topics. So, ladies and gentlemen, I'm joined today by
(07:45):
Alex Rooker, whose real name is Alejandro Guayaida Ruker, and
she was a long time She was the vice chair
of the California Democratic Party for twenty twenty or so years,
(08:05):
and coincidental to that, she was a member of the
Democratic National Committee. She was the treasurer for the DNC
Women's Caucus.
Speaker 13 (08:18):
Closes yes, yes, and I was also yeah, the Democratic chairs.
Speaker 11 (08:26):
Okay, So she and I have been friends a long time.
We worked together for a long time, and I thought
she'd be a great person to have on this to
(08:49):
talk about the California Democratic Party, the DNC, and a
few of the other topics that we have, and because
she's not ill informed, I figured we could talk about more. Alex,
how are you.
Speaker 13 (09:08):
I'm doing great. I've been lucky that I have gotten
the ring point, but it looks like it's point, and.
Speaker 14 (09:16):
I've been lucky with the traffic, so I'm doing great.
Speaker 11 (09:21):
Okay, well, good, I'm I'm glad to hear that the
traffic's not that you're not soaking wet. Put it that way.
So let's start out with this strange back and forth
with the c DP.
Speaker 14 (09:42):
The go ahead, you're talking about what was gonna happen.
Speaker 11 (09:50):
Who was gonna run and that, yes, and make sure
and make sure you explain stuff because most of these
folks are not you know, they're not CDPs like we were.
Speaker 13 (10:07):
Yeah. Well, from my understanding, is the current chair and
he was going to call along at the particularly Orange
County chair Democratic Party Chair as the CDP chairs working
to get her elected and then decided that that was
(10:31):
not gonna be the case. Now she's running for a
state of Smiley and he's running for He's running for
re election for the calif Party. So that's where are
at right now. There's a candidate that's running. I don't
know if they have the the ID, but you know,
I never never addrestimate anybody has to be others that
(10:55):
will jump in the race for for the next election
for the Californy.
Speaker 11 (10:59):
Different right, Well, I mean the CDP had, in my opinion,
a pretty tough a pretty tough go of it.
Speaker 14 (11:19):
You know.
Speaker 11 (11:19):
One second, I'm sorry, the CDP had a pretty tough
goal of it last November. Certainly, it was not like
(11:40):
when we were When we were there, we won so
many races, and you know, the the CDP did pretty
poorly on h It's state races. I mean, frankly, I
(12:09):
would have put my head down. Every everybody liked Jamie
Harris and the former chair of the d n C,
but it was it was pretty disastrous and I know
you can't you go ahead.
Speaker 13 (12:28):
No, and as you know, when the Democrats don't have
control of the presidency, uh, DNC chair has a lot
of control and and does what he can to build
up the state parties, et cetera. But when the Democrats
do have control the presidency, the d n C chair
(12:50):
does not have as much control because it's the five
administration will call those shops in a lot of ways.
So so I think electrical ways there.
Speaker 11 (13:05):
Yeah. Well, well, look the inside, the inside politics of
the Democratic Party at the state and national level, it's
(13:27):
very confusing. It's very confusing to somebody who's not an insider,
you know. But I mean when when I was, I
was state party chair and you were vice chair under me,
(13:50):
I mean, we won a ton of seats, seven congressional seats,
six Assembly seats we held onto, We held onto every
state wide race. You know, we did we we did
really well.
Speaker 14 (14:10):
Yes, I was.
Speaker 13 (14:10):
I was disappointed after that that we lost so many
compressional races and even you know, assembly races, event that
we've worked so hard to turn Democrat. I was really
disappointed at that. I don't know, well quite so, I
wasn't there anymore as an officer. What quite happened there?
Speaker 14 (14:32):
Uh?
Speaker 13 (14:32):
I know that just from my experience when you were there,
you would bring the DNC the governor everybody together to
pull knowledge resources and wanted to get people elected.
Speaker 14 (14:46):
And you didn't work in a vacuum, that's for sure.
Speaker 13 (14:51):
You you really listened to me about the Latino vote
in order trying to do some kind of a program there,
which is really needed because they feel like we'd come
to them at.
Speaker 6 (15:01):
The last minute.
Speaker 14 (15:02):
That you were very open to a lot of ideas.
Speaker 13 (15:05):
And I hated to see that. And it's because I'm
not I really haven't seen a Latino program. I suppose
with maybe one, I don't know, I'm not aware of it.
Don't have Latinos tell them there is one. And that's
the sad part for me. And at a national level,
when I was on the DMP and and on the
community with all the Democratic cheers, I used to talk
(15:27):
about that and oh yeah, they all agree to whatever.
Speaker 14 (15:31):
And look what happened. So but now the tap Share,
which I like very much.
Speaker 13 (15:38):
Kid Mark, is actually having conversations with voters, Latinos, et cetera.
And you know, where has the past where the past
people been? I mean we've been here some let it.
Speaker 14 (15:50):
So why they've been talking to us and trying to
figure out trying to figure.
Speaker 13 (15:56):
Out what that we want just the same thing everybody
else does.
Speaker 11 (15:59):
But fun you know, well, as you know, one of
the things that I did is because every major national
oh that's very nice, every major national elections cycle, national
(16:21):
elections meaning when there's a presidential race or congressional races.
So I called the head of the Democratic Congressional Campaign
Committee and had him come to my office. I think
(16:44):
that's why I don't. Yeah, I think it was there.
And I said, look, the reason you guys have so
much trouble in California if you don't know how California works.
And it's not like Mississippi, it's not like Atlanta, it's
not like New York. It's very different.
Speaker 14 (17:06):
So true, and so.
Speaker 11 (17:12):
Essentially essentially essentially what's going to happen here is if
you let them take it back over and you don't
sit on top of them, you end up with this stuff,
(17:35):
right And you know, oh, anyway, I'll just I'll just
leave that part there. What about Trump and his tariffs
and threats the world leaders, Well.
Speaker 13 (17:54):
I'll just stay on a personal level. I used to
date someone that I saw it was my puller, and
I would say, well, which person is here today?
Speaker 14 (18:03):
And that's how I feel about Trump?
Speaker 13 (18:05):
What person?
Speaker 14 (18:06):
What top is here today?
Speaker 13 (18:07):
Because it bootslops so much? And Dave Kars next day,
Oh we're gonna pause. The next day, we're back on again.
Speaker 11 (18:16):
Uh you know, and they and they went on at
midnight last night.
Speaker 13 (18:22):
Yeah, yeah, So I don't I don't know what the
hell is happening to him. I know there's a lot
of criticism about Biden. Uh so they was sleep at
the wheel or he had some problem. But I'm wondering,
what's wrong with Trump? There's something going on there?
Speaker 12 (18:38):
Have you?
Speaker 11 (18:39):
Have you noticed you haven't heard anything about Biden? But
what if they haven't heard anything about Biden lately? They're
no longer they're not talking about Biden. They're talking about
Trump and how unsteady he is. Right, And it doesn't
matter to me whether it's bidden making all the perfect decisions,
(19:04):
were the good decisions even. What matters to me is
is that there are decisions made, and that they're that
they're enforced efficiently, and that they make sense. So uh,
(19:32):
I mean, really, it was weird when two days ago
Trump was being his threatening self and you know, his big,
his big, macho self with his little hands, and he
(19:55):
was gonna put tariff on Mexico and Canada and ten
percent on China. He's too scared of China to do that.
They've already told China's already said they'll blow him up.
(20:15):
They don't care.
Speaker 13 (20:18):
Kinda the one to worry about, no doubt about it.
Speaker 11 (20:21):
Yeah, well that's true. And if you if you follow
what's going on in Russia, one day, Trump was saying, well,
I'm good friends with I'm good friends with yeah, with
(20:44):
with with with with King drama. And then the next thing,
you know, Trump is coming out just the opposite way
with you know, threats and this and that.
Speaker 13 (21:10):
So yeah, I think we're in a world for uh
big with all these different things going on. You know,
Trump says, don't worry about it. We're going to be
swimming in so much money we won't know what to
do with it. And okay, okay, I'm waiting some waiting,
(21:34):
but not really. But it's a very sad that I'm
not saying that Democrats that the national member were, you know,
that Biden made all the right decisions, that he has
no blame for anything. I mean, we we did, wouldn't
I disagree with some of the things that went on,
(21:54):
But we had a civilized I think nation, and we
care about people, We cared about the world, and also
you know, benefited us. And now nobody knows what to do.
Should I lay off, should I Should I go find
it a job, Should I retire early? What?
Speaker 14 (22:11):
Nobody knows what to do. The people have lost so
much money in the four o.
Speaker 13 (22:15):
One k unbelievable amounts, which is very scary because that's
what they were counting on to retire. That all of
those that's been killed up our spine and so many
other things that are happy and will be happy.
Speaker 11 (22:32):
Yeah. Well, we have probably somewhere about eight minutes left
in this first segment, and so I want to go
to a topic from the second half. One is going
on on Wall Street.
Speaker 13 (22:53):
Oh my god.
Speaker 11 (22:54):
That yeah, really crazy.
Speaker 14 (22:57):
All lost a lot of money.
Speaker 11 (23:02):
Yeah, I don't know, I knew.
Speaker 6 (23:07):
What is that.
Speaker 11 (23:10):
I never did see the final numbers from yesterday.
Speaker 13 (23:18):
You know, it's it goes up a few points, it
goes back down a lot of points. So I don't
know what the absolute latest for the last minute is,
but you know, it's still not good. A lot of
people have lost a lot of money, and that's that's
my quarrel one Kser lost a lot of money as well.
Speaker 11 (23:41):
Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're correct about that.
Speaker 14 (23:49):
So we're in an.
Speaker 13 (23:50):
Upside down world right now. And it's pretty scary. It's
pretty scary if we really feel back the layers, it's
really scary.
Speaker 11 (24:01):
And unfortunately the Democrats generally speaking, are pretty powerless. Yeah
all right, what the hell are we going to do?
I mean, I don't, I don't. I don't mean to
say that. It was such a defeat at tone, but
(24:24):
you know, he lost more money in one day than
this country had lost in ten years. Wow, incredible, I mean,
it's really it's really scary.
Speaker 13 (24:41):
Yeah. Well, you know Trump has said it's only temporary,
so get ready to be you know, so much money
that we don't know what to do with it.
Speaker 11 (24:49):
So yeah, well we're back to that again. He said
that before we're going to get tired of winning. Yeah, yeah,
I don't remember that we're going to be tired of winning.
Speaker 13 (25:04):
Yeah. Now it's we're going to be swimming so much water,
I mean water water, and we're swimming on water now,
but we're going to be swimming in so much money
that we won't know what to do with it.
Speaker 15 (25:18):
All right.
Speaker 11 (25:22):
So all of that said, there are still so many
people that if you dare to criticize Trump or say
positive stuff about Biden, you know they want to kill you.
Speaker 13 (25:43):
My opinion is a cult. Not all Republicans, but some
of these people are enough in a cult. Those are
a lot of characteristics of being in a cult.
Speaker 11 (25:55):
Unquestionably, I talked to I talked to a psychologist end
of last week. I think it was who said to me,
they display all the signs of being in a cult. Yeah, yeah, ok,
(26:26):
and you know that. Listen, that's a little bit scary.
You know, you've got a grandson who's what is he
twenty years old?
Speaker 13 (26:34):
Twenty five?
Speaker 11 (26:36):
Oh? Is he that old?
Speaker 13 (26:38):
Yeah? I'm young.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (26:45):
Well and he got he did get married, right, uh huh.
Good for him. And well, look, I think between the tariffs,
(27:09):
which are terrible for the United States. Well we'll come
back in by the way, talking about Canada and Mexico,
because you know what, both Canada and Mexico have stood
up to him, and I don't think he likes it.
Month is.
Speaker 14 (27:32):
The president isn't like a song?
Speaker 13 (27:34):
Look, Dane, that's my goodness.
Speaker 11 (27:39):
Yeah, I don't know. It's pretty pretty pretty exhaucing man.
Speaker 13 (27:47):
Yeah, yeah, I'm very proud of her. I think took
the job and uh picking up for what is right?
I mean, why why are we coming after them?
Speaker 6 (27:58):
What?
Speaker 13 (28:00):
All? Right?
Speaker 11 (28:03):
Well, look we have yeah, a minute left. But I'll
just say this. If he thinks that everybody's going to
roll over for the big bad in the United States,
it's crazy. And now I don't know if you saw it,
(28:24):
but that European Union, whatever the hell they're calling it
these days, the European Union said they're gonna put twenty
five billion dollars worth of tariffs on us. None of this,
(28:50):
none of this can work out well in its current form.
And unfortunately Elon Musk thinks that he's got it all
under control, and it's it's obviously not under control because
(29:11):
remember Trump supposedly just bought out Aline Musks Elon Musks
car company, So.
Speaker 13 (29:26):
His thoughts have gone down quite a bit and people
are regretting mind, and they are trying to Some guy
was trying to sell his tea and he has been
much month to cannot sell it. Nobody wants to, Nobody
wants it. Before I remember, was thought that the big
(29:48):
thing you had to wait wait your turn to get
one or buy one, and now now they can sell them.
Speaker 11 (29:55):
Yep, all right. This is Eric common host of the

Speaker 11 (36:16):
We're becoming a.
Speaker 13 (36:17):
Dn C chair?
Speaker 11 (36:19):
Well, now that he's the d n C chair?
Speaker 6 (36:22):
Oh so.
Speaker 11 (36:27):
Does that herself? Does that make you happy?
Speaker 13 (36:31):
Yeah? How about it?
Speaker 11 (36:39):
The one thing I'm a little worried about is he
never was a big money raiser.
Speaker 14 (36:47):
Yeah, I don't know, but that's one I thinks he's
gonna have to do with race.
Speaker 17 (36:54):
Well, I don't know that.
Speaker 13 (36:56):
The last year was a big money raiser, but can't
probably more so, and.
Speaker 14 (37:07):
And that's what their job is anyways. But they're gonna
have to break a lot of money.
Speaker 13 (37:12):
Had to be able to hire staff back because a
lot of staff was on that. Yeah, he didn't leave
him in good shape.
Speaker 14 (37:23):
So he's done a lot of work to do.
Speaker 13 (37:24):
But he's done a lot of experience. He was chaired
or the Minnesota State Party for a long time and
then became the ASPC for the state Democratic Chairs president
and was on the executive board of the DNC State
worked a lot of people and so he's got a
(37:44):
lot and he's got you know, want to listen to
the people.
Speaker 14 (37:50):
You know, what do they want? What do they think?
Speaker 13 (37:52):
And he has an idea, but he wants to hear
what they have to say because we're not listening enough.
Speaker 6 (37:58):
At so what they want.
Speaker 13 (38:01):
You know, we're going way off to another tangent. Things
that are got there. But you know, we made a
big deal out of things that maybe we should We
should have talked about more.
Speaker 14 (38:15):
Bread and butter, shoes.
Speaker 11 (38:17):
Yeah, well, I guess we're gonna get I guess we're
gonna see.
Speaker 14 (38:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (38:30):
Oh, let's talk about our wonderful House of Representatives commonly
commonly known as Congress to most people.
Speaker 13 (38:40):
Yeah, h yeah, that I mean that financial stress when
all that happened, I mean, you know, I realized, uh,
Representative hell Dream was very passionate about Medicare and all
of that, and I get that that's probably a lot
of frustration, but it just took away that I didn't.
(39:06):
I didn't like it personally. Yeah, I know that the
other side did that while Obama was there, Mark Harder
to three yelled out stuff. It was very and we
didn't like that. So you know, it is what it is,
but you gotta get past it.
Speaker 11 (39:23):
Yeah, spoken up and in that we just need we
need to need more of that.
Speaker 13 (39:30):
I do like Adam Chift's videos. He's putting out out
every data is informing us of what's going on. That's
very good. If anybody gets an opportunity to watch that, thot.
Speaker 11 (39:45):
Yeah, I think it's uh. It makes life a little
difficult sometimes, all right. So our governor's race, oh boy, Well,
everybody in the world seems to be jumping in, and
(40:09):
then they'll be jumping out. Well that's that's exactly what
somebody said to me yesterday. And then they'll be jumping out.
Speaker 13 (40:22):
Yeah, I'm not sure how many are committed to really,
I don't think a lot of them are going to
stay in. I suppose if Kama jumps and he's got
well some of the last bowls, I think he's got
some eye poll rating. But there probably will be a
person or two that will stay strong and not not
(40:42):
below and it should be a very interesting could be
uh you know, uh, an African American woman against the Latino.
I don't know that's what it's looking at like right now.
But time will till, you know, anything can happen.
Speaker 11 (40:59):
Yeah, yeah, that's uh, that is true, But that's true.
But this one, you know, that jumped in this week,
(41:19):
that had gone, that had become a congresswoman and then
couldn't couldn't wait, she had to run for the House
seat and caused a lot of chaos and caused a
lot of people to lose money. Now did Barbara Lee
(41:48):
already run for mayor of Oakland? I can't remember.
Speaker 13 (41:53):
I believe she's running right now.
Speaker 11 (41:59):
Something to told me that one's not going to go
very well.
Speaker 13 (42:04):
Yeah, I you know, I really haven't got tabs on
that I want to, but I'm not sure. Uh, you know,
he's been there a long time. I don't know, But
I don't know why you want to do that. But
that's her, that's me. I just think, at that point
in your life, give up, let somebody young take it
over and enjoy your enjoy the rest of your life. Yeah,
(42:28):
but yeah, some people want to stay there.
Speaker 11 (42:32):
Forever now as the song goes forever, and.
Speaker 14 (42:46):
Haven't help us.
Speaker 11 (42:49):
Know for sure. I actually think you're right when you
say that.
Speaker 18 (42:55):
Yeah, I.
Speaker 13 (42:57):
Didn't run run again. You know people I was waiting
people say they were gonna leave. You know, it's time
to let other people have different ideas come in and
you know, help help them along.
Speaker 6 (43:09):
So I.
Speaker 13 (43:12):
I just couldn't do that.
Speaker 11 (43:17):
Well, there's a governor's race is looking to be quite
a little uh shall we say, quite a little bash? Yeah,
with the what's your face? Katie Porter in there and
(43:41):
she's sobborn.
Speaker 13 (43:45):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know. She don't have a hard time.
I think, you know, didn't even if everybody said it.
She's gonna have a really hard, hard time. I don't
know what she's pulling out, but you know, someone wanted
super So not coming here to what Kamala was going
(44:05):
to art say.
Speaker 11 (44:13):
I think that, I mean, I could be wrong, but
I think that if Kamala runs, she's got a pretty
good she's got a pretty good advantage and a lot
of attention. She's well known in this state, m.
Speaker 13 (44:38):
SO.
Speaker 11 (44:41):
And I'm afraid to say this, but because of how
parochial everybody is about these things, I think she had
a very tough race.
Speaker 13 (44:56):
Yeah, yeah, very d I mean, I know, I know
what I've seen Kenn's come in late and then you
know or what they're running for, and sometimes it's too little,
too late. Then you gotta just didn't give her enough time.
Speaker 12 (45:15):
To do what.
Speaker 13 (45:16):
I mean, she was doing great is running for Brice
to re elect Price chair, I mean, not my chair.
But for once she started out and then it just
I don't know, it just she didn't have the support
even from her own community that she thought she was
gonna have. So that's that was really sad.
Speaker 11 (45:36):
Yeah, that is that is kind of true. I know,
I know you're gonna have to go shortly and and
I don't have to figure out how to finish the song.
But I wanted to make sure you heard the next
(45:56):
statistic that I'm gonna give. Oh, you know, with our
now surgeon general, I don't think he's the Surgegon Health
and Human Services Carr and who still, by the way,
(46:17):
is running around saying, you know, yes, it's good if
you vaccinate your kids, but it's the mother's choice, it's
not you know, all this stuff. And so you know,
(46:38):
we have had.
Speaker 6 (46:41):
That.
Speaker 11 (46:41):
I know, we've had a dozen cases in southern California alone,
and we had the first one die I think it
was this week.
Speaker 12 (47:00):
And this.
Speaker 11 (47:02):
I'm gonna say, guy, and I mean that.
Speaker 15 (47:04):
Generically because that was an adult or a kid, this guy.
Speaker 11 (47:20):
And I'm trying to remember how I put it. Oh,
I have notes here. As as the measles cases began
to spread, especially through La X, we now have had
our first death in southern California. Surely more on the way,
(47:41):
and our surgeon general is still saying it's just a
choice the parents, Oh my god, and and Trump and
Trump is applauding him.
Speaker 13 (47:57):
Well, it's not his children explosively, it's not one. But
that's a very sad situation. One death is one too
many or something that is preventable.
Speaker 11 (48:12):
Well, and it's so it's spread so easily.
Speaker 12 (48:22):
M hm.
Speaker 11 (48:26):
And if you have the vaccine, you really don't have
to worry about it. I mean, I hate to admit
this on radio because people sometimes think I'm crazy. I've had,
of course, the measles momps and uh, there are Sello vaccines.
(48:49):
I've had the vaccine Singers for shingles. I've had the
numa Vax for newmacccus. I think that's how we protect ourselves.
Please don't don't talk to me about Please don't talk
(49:11):
to me about kids dying because they take these vaccines.
It's it's a bunch of bull. And if you care
about your kids and your family, you got to get
it for them. I mean, period, period.
Speaker 13 (49:38):
Yeah, very much. So. I mean I go in there
and I say, give me, give me all the vaccines
that I need. To give them all to me. I
do not want the blue. I do not want COVID.
Speaker 14 (49:47):
I do not want to own.
Speaker 13 (49:49):
And you know what I've been, I've been lucky or whatever,
never had COVID, never chest the positive COVID. I've been
really lucky as well.
Speaker 11 (50:02):
Well. Mirka and I both had COVID, both of us.
The case was, you wouldn't have known you had it,
you know. I you know, we didn't get sick because
(50:23):
we had taken the early COVID vaccine. M hang on
one second. So so they're saying that the sky who
(50:49):
was held in in the Western president of prison. But
I'm trying to figure out how to frame this. He
was held in a in a Western lock up, and
(51:22):
he was held in a Western lockup. And he said,
I think they sent him to Peru or something like that,
and he said it was it was horrible, it was
idious because they were so mean to him over there.
(51:42):
So I don't know, just a pop topics, I think
pop topics or what are on top of a sot
A bottle. Now, the US says that we're going to
(52:07):
immediately restore military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.
Speaker 13 (52:15):
Oh not only rushed up, but Ukraine too.
Speaker 11 (52:20):
Okay, well, he says, and you know, we were we
were talking about his ratings of various kinds. His poll
ratings have dropped more in a month than Biden's did
(52:43):
in his entire time as president. I don't know if
it's quite that good, but.
Speaker 13 (52:51):
That's what it says, well, I think a lot of
you know, there have been a lot of people have
come out and said regrettably they voted for him, and
you know, it's it's a really statut. Just can't take
it back for a while.
Speaker 11 (53:13):
Oh that is very true. That is very true. What
else is going on with you? Anything exciting?
Speaker 13 (53:23):
M I mean, you know, just helping some some races.
Speaker 11 (53:30):
Uh are you gonna oh you have you major selections?
Speaker 13 (53:38):
Uh no, I'm still you know, going through him. I'm
finding out. I choose, you know, it's nice now you
can choose what you get involved. And I like that
and to be able to help people, the people.
Speaker 11 (53:50):
Get elected, right, Yeah, well, look, I have some favorites,
and you know, there's a lieutenant governor candidate who I
really appreciate and really like me too. I wonder if
(54:12):
it's the same one. Now. I have been helping people
on the side for a number of years. Now. I
don't ask them for money, generally speaking, and not that
(54:41):
I don't want the money.
Speaker 13 (54:53):
So yeah, well, you have all that experience and knowledge
and you can give them some really good tips. Some
things never change and people just got to know how
to put it together, you know.
Speaker 14 (55:15):
So well, that's where you that's.
Speaker 13 (55:16):
Where you commit.
Speaker 11 (55:19):
I will tell you, is that the number of people
who were not helpful to me who have come back
to me and now they're speaking to me sweetly, if
you if you will, hm, I mean I certainly appreciate that.
Speaker 4 (55:46):
Uh, this.
Speaker 11 (55:49):
Nonsense tires me out. I'm glad to see surprisingly that
our courts are.
Speaker 12 (55:59):
They up.
Speaker 11 (56:02):
Standing up? Yeah, I mean that's I think that's the.
Speaker 13 (56:06):
Law for the right side of the law, standing up
for the law period.
Speaker 11 (56:12):
Yeah, yes, that's exactly right.
Speaker 12 (56:21):
So I'm not sure, you know, I'm not sure.
Speaker 11 (56:33):
I don't really have anything else exciting going on in
that regard my show, my show. I mean, I've had
some great guests in the last few months. Like I
had Gary south on a couple of weeks ago, and
(56:58):
he's a he's a great he's a great guest. He's smart,
he's a little sassy, got got a got a lot
of experience.
Speaker 13 (57:19):
Is he like the James Carville of California?
Speaker 11 (57:25):
He thinks of himself that way for sure?
Speaker 13 (57:29):
Yeah, I think that could be said. Very was very interesting.
He's got I don't he could tell so many stories
of things that he's done and experience.
Speaker 12 (57:45):
Yeah, we.
Speaker 11 (57:48):
We talked about working working together for Gray. We talked
about hid and running Steve Wesley's race. I guess that
was for that was for president. I think I forgot
about that anyway. It is what it is.
Speaker 14 (58:18):
It is what it is.
Speaker 13 (58:19):
There'll be uh, there's something going on every day, so
uh sometimes you want to talk about it on your
show and then by the next day changed again.
Speaker 11 (58:27):
So well, that is that is one of the problems
for certain all Right, my dear, I gotta say goodbye.
I gotta say goodbye to This is Eric Bouman, most
