There's a legislative differ for those that aren't from the

for one, do not think we need to spend money

on public broadcasting. I get the impression in twenty twenty five,
where we have the Internet and talk radio and cable
and terrestrial broadcasting and an unlimited amount of podcasts and
basically just a world filled with access to digital information.
We no longer need to fund NPR and PBS and

Voice of America. Yesterday, John Kennedy was talking about this
at Senate hearing.

I'm proud of serving this committee. I watched this committee
last year. We passed seven eleven out of twelve minibuses,
sent them and we all choked down some stuff you
wouldn't believe, and we sent them to Senator Schumer, my friend.
He refused to bring the bills to the fall of
the Senate. Now that's when he was in the majority.

There's this video that some of the neocons have acknowledged.
It's a little concerning. It looks like war footage. I
saw Dan Krenshaw post this yesterday and I thought, oh no,
there's Dan Krenshaw again posting footage from Ukraine. It's a
couple of what looks like armed vehicles. It look like

cheap makeshift tanks. Some of our listeners describe them as
Timu tanks uh huh. And the footage looks like it
could be from Russia or Ukraine, or Israel or Yemen.
Turns out no, Mexico. About half lee now to be clear,
this is actually footage from just south of the Mexican

border near Texas. The south of the border about an
hour or two away from McAllen, I mean right over
the Texas border, a short distance from where many of
our listeners live. There's a war happening between the Gulf
cartel and the Zeta's cartel, and we should be way
more worried about this than we are about It's a
lot closer to home, what's happening in Ukraine or wherever.

This is one of the only things I agree with
the neocons about. The neo cons want to use military action.
They want our Pentagon to go out and fight the
cartels at the border. I am down with that.

I just have a question about the video that we're
looking at that nobody else can see.

A couple of I don't know, tanks or trucks or

Were they shooting at each other? Yes, okay, they just
pulled up side by side. It's like you know gang
bangers in la or something that just pull up and
start shooting at each other.

They're in close, just a short distance away from each other,
just shooting at each other, like Russia shooting at Ukraine.

And the footage, I guess they got a drone or
an airplane or something.

Great question. Yeah, so we have drones at the border.
Both the Border patrol our drones video in it or
did they video it and send it to it. Well,
I found this online. I think this was a journalist
took this drone video, but the border patrol journalists, the
car towels. They're all flying around the border with drones now.
And many of those drones are used for surveillance, but

not all of them are some of them being used
to traffic drugs. Oh yeah, and pretty soon, maybe already
some of them are going to be used as weapons.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Well, I'm assuming that the drug lords, the kingpins whatever
they call them, down there, they they can probably attack
the other rival gangs with their drones. I just wonder
if anybody has come out yet and claim victory one
gang over another, like Iran has. The Supreme Leader of

Iran came crawling out of a bunker somewhere yesterday to
ludicrously claim Iran's victory over Israel and a nice handslap
to America's face as well. That's that's what they tell
their people, and it's probably a lot like living in

North Korea. They don't get much other news except for
what their leaders tell them. And their leaders tell them
that they've just won a major victory over Israel. So
good for them. Wow, that's how the world works. You

Miss a out of Well, how do I describe this?
A student athlete who is currently not competing because he's
in jail. Uh huh, named Carmelo Anthony. It's been charged
with first degree murder as an adult, and there is
now a video that a lot of journalists have had

a chance to review. It's not been made public yet,
and it details how he was probably not acting in
self defense when he killed Austin Metcalf. At least that's
the impression I get from the reports I've looked at.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
I think that's probably why the grand jury went ahead
and said first degree murder because they saw the video.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
And so now a spokesperson for the family is characterizing
the team's murder of Austin Metcalf as a fight against
white supremacy.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Well, yeah, it's it's racism, and he's fighting for just
just try to keep the white man from stepping on
his neck.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
Yeah, that's all it is. They're saying, it's a whites.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
He said, this case involves multiple miners and sensitive details
that I cannot and will not speak about publicly. But
he goes on to point out how this is a
fight again wainst white supremacy. How exactly is it a
fight against white supremacy?
Speaker 2 (15:03):
They said, So that's it. No, yep, so that's it.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
You just said to the racist, the bigots, and those
fells with hate who have targeted Carmelo, his family, and
even myself, you do not intimidate us. We are not
backing down. This case is yet another example of what
it means to be black in America, where even our
self defense is question, scrutinized and politicized. My involvement, like
many others, came as a direct response to the overwhelming
(15:26):
hate blah blah blah blah blah white supress. Yeah, yeah,
I gotta ask, where's the self defense. There's now a
video of this incident where you see the two of
them have a very brief interaction and almost immediately after
coming in contact with each other, Austin Metcalf gets stabbed
with a knife and dies.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
I will say this for those of you who have
maybe had this random thought pass through your head, just briefly,
just a shadow, a whisp of cloud just floats by.
Why did he have a knife on him? He was
there for a track meet. A high school kid goes
to a t meat. Now they probably got a tracksuit,
and they got theirtle, you know, shorts and whatever underneath,

and he brought a He brought a knife to a
track meat, which is just kind of puzzling to me.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Unbelievable. Yeah, pretty wild.

Actually, I do believe it because he then produced that
knife and stabbed it into the chest of another fellow athlete.

Is there a scenario in which you're allowed to bring
a knife to school?

No, but it is believable that he brought.

Well, fans, but it sounds like that's a comedy gobbledy Goook.
