Speaker 1 (00:02):
Earlier, we were listening to the senior senator of West
Virginia talk about how much he loves his bulldog, and
we thought it was funny how he he kind of
looked like his bulldog.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
They kind of it does happen humans often, even if
they don't plan it ahead of time, looking much like
the dogs that they choose.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Now, I hate to be the one to bring this up,
but I can't help but notice the governor of Maine
that Janet Mills boooo can't help but notice as she's
out right now trying to defend men who compete in
women's sports, she really kind of kind of looks like
a training a.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Little bit manly, would you say, bro?

Speaker 1 (00:38):
She has like a strong jawline. And then it probably
doesn't help that she doesn't wear makeup or anything.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Be what every woman in Maine looks like. I think
there's only like thirty five of them.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Yeah, yeah, we hang on thirty four.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
That's why they need we're in to compete the women's
sports up there. They don't have enough women to go around.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
They don't have enough for a scrimmage. What a scrimmage?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Roomage?

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah? What'd you think?

Speaker 3 (00:59):
I said, like you're talking about some scrimmage.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
This sports report probably brought to you by my Pillow.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
You know, my Pillow dot Com. What an amazing company
that is. Look at what they look what they fall through.
They fall through all the attacks on Trump because they
was attacking what's the dude's name, Mike Lindell. Yeah, they
attacked him and his company just like they attacked Trump,
and he stood strong against it all. And now they
burst through the other side with massive savings on quality products.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
You mean, on machine worship, bow Pillow, it's the ones
you go to my pillow dot com today. Look, you
need stuff for your house. They have amazing deals going
on right now, really low cost on high quality luxury items,
many of them made in America. My Pillow dot Com
promo code.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
W J Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yeah, So you know we got that going for us
and everything.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
NBA playoffs not pretty much full, you know, because they
had to have the little play ins before they get
out of playoffs and all that. So uh, mavericks, you know,
look pretty strong with a big victory, so they move
it all. I got the brackets in front of you,
but you know, unless you're looking at it too, it's
really hard to say, who's doing this, who's doing that?

Speaker 3 (02:04):
But you know the Rockets are.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
In and uh, you know Mavericks in And I don't
think that's about it. Well, you know far listening area,
although we are nationwide, it's just where we all terrestrialized.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yeah, absolutely, what to where terrestrializes? Yeah, doesn't Memphis have
an NBA team? We know our Memphis listeners love the NBA.
That'd be your Grizzlies over there. And uh, on Tuesday
they lost to the Warriors. That's a thing, right Anyway,
I'm not gonna pretend like I watched the NBA, but
I do watch this right now. This is a lot
of a lot of people are fascinated by this. Bill

(02:40):
Belichick's girlfriend. This is so funny. Bill Belichick's girlfriend is
going to compete against a transgender person for miss Maine.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
And Maine where that ugly I'm sorry, that unfortunate looking governor.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
And then not far away from there, another weird political
controversy involving sports actor, comedian, and right wing mega extremist
Michael Rappaport is ripping into NBA coach Steve Kerr for
his comments praising Harvard University for defying Trump's rules concerning
civil rights and DEEI policies.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Now, he ain't the only one.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
I believe you are familiar with this Obama fellow, right, Barack,
that's the one, you do know him. Obama yesterday have
come out and praised Harvard for fighting against Trump and
Christy Nome and all the rest of them, because yesterday
they announced Trump has held back like two point two

(03:33):
million dollars of money to go to Harvard, and I
don't know if it's the same money or what. But
as a separate story, Christy Nome have held back two
point seven million dollars from Harvard, and I don't know
if that is the same money.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
At a little bit more or what.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
But Barack Obama says, Harvard, you keep fighting a good
fight against them, damn nasty Republicans. Yeah, you know, you
know Harvard, Harvard's he didn't do that, by your They
only got fifty three point two billion.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
They're going to need some more of our money.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
You know.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Isn't it cost eighty thousand dollars a year to go
to school there? And yes they have over fifty billion
dollars in their endowment. But for some our money? Why
why do I have to give Harvard money. That's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
And when somebody like Trump, Elon Christy Nome, whoever points
that out, they're the bad guy.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Yeah, yeah, for trying to save us some money. All right,
And here's another one today. Ex MLS star Aaron Bupenza
has died after falling from an eleventh floor balcony for
one thousand dollars. Can anyone tell me what MLS stands for?
This Major League Soccer having to do a soccer? Don't

(04:41):
they have to call it football or something like that.
He's a he's a gabone born international star. He joined
Chinese club Jijing FC base from a yeah that's based
in the city of Hangzao and the the Romanian outfit
Rapid Bucharest in January. This guy is just a ball
kick in son of a gun over there. He's having

(05:02):
some balls. But anyway he thought out of a building.
He's dead now. So if that was sure he wasn't pushed,
I mean I don't know that he wasn't putting.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Somebody falls off of whatever floor balcony and dies. You
just got to wonder if they didn't get a little
bit of a.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Boost.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Let me help you with that. You know exactly. I
don't know. I don't know all the details of what
happened on that building, but I do know this. There's
nothing more exciting right now than high school track because
that's where you could get stabbed to death.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Let's let's not stab any more people.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
What do you say that kid that did the stabbing,
who freely admits he did it? Yeah, yeah, but he says,
you know, for I got a good reason. They're just
all over him. They're following him now, they're following getting
into like a ninety thousand dollars car, riding to his
nine hundred thousand dollars rental home, and all the things
that he's saying and doing with the money. How much

(05:53):
money did they rate? Four over four hundred thousand dollars.
It's got to be more than that by now. Plus
I think people are giving him money.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
This guy, Dominique Alexander is a self described minister and activist.
He is a very violent history himself, and he is
throwing his weight behind Carmelo Anthony. That's the young team,
the NBA guy. No, he's the guy accused of stabbing
a fellow team Austin Metcalf to death at a track event, and.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
He admitted it. He didn't accused, He's not accused of it.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
He just did it. Yeah, he admits it. So this
guy is this activist minister guy has actually has a
history of violence himself. He was arrested for causing serious
bodily injury to a two year old resulting in subdural
hemorrhage and retinal hemorrhages, including injuries doctors attributed to abusive
head trauma. He admitted to shaking a child, but claim

(06:41):
the injuries were accidental. He faced first degree felony chargers.
But now that's behind him, and he wants to go
out and remind everybody that Carmelo Anthony is a good boy.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
He didn't do nothing. And what's the lesson we learn
in America? Murdering a white kid turns you into a
rich celebrity bro.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
It's insane that that's true. There are people on the
internet that have never met this guy. They don't know him,
they don't No one really understands what happened in that tent.
But everyone's crystal clear positive that Austin Metcalf must be
a racist and he needed to be stabbed to death.
How do you know he was a racist, Well Carmelo
Anthony stabbed him to death. Look what a good guy
he is. It's like the dad in Maryland here. Are

(07:20):
you sure you want to put all your chips on the.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Illegal aliens thirteen guy?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
I was gonna say black, but then it occurred to
me that probably wouldn't be the appropriate analogy here. But
you know, you want to make the place of bet
on this guy that you have no idea what happened,
but you know that someone died because of him.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
And two things will stand out besides all the not
just ridiculousness going on about the money they raising and
all that. First of all, he seems to have no
remorse for cold blood and murder for just stabbing an
unarmed man in the heart. Doesn't seem to be the
slightest bit upset by that. And I say they should

(07:57):
charge him with premeditated Who brings a knife to attract
meat unless you're planning ahead of time, that's premeditating to
stab somebody.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
That's actually a pretty good argument, Billy on and I
just to put that in legal ease for everyone. What
Billyad's talking about his first degree verse second degree murder
If it's second degree murder, and that means you did
it on purpose, but you didn't plan it out ahead
of time. First degree murder means exactly what Billy had
just described, that the intent was to go out and
hurt someone, that he planned it out ahead and then,
and that makes the punishment much worse than just in

(08:30):
the heat of the moment doing something you didn't think
you'd do.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
I hope they send him to Huntsville and Gold would
be good too. I mean, South's got lots good parchment
and gola. Huntsville. They said he's going to be charged
or already has been charged with first degree murder as
an adult by the way, so you know, could be
you know, who are we kidding?

Speaker 1 (08:52):
He's probably going to send to a Sandals resort six months.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Probably, Okaye, lotion share for town chick and let's find
something to look at. Oh yeah, here we go. Walton M. Johnson.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
All right, late late late late last night, like two
in the morning, one in the morning, Texas State Legislature
up late debating and voting and fighting over school choice.
And I can't play the SoundBite on the air, but
there's a SoundBite of state Representative Briscocaine.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Oh, he's a firebrand. Oh did he say something we
can't hear on the radio.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
He wanted to talk and I guess they wouldn't let him,
And the way it's described here in this SoundBite, I'm
not quite sure what happened. I'm just telling you what
i'm reading on the internet. State Representative brisk Ocaine wanted
to make a point and they wouldn't let him, so
he threw a fit, threw his folder, and then said
f you guys. Now, I don't know if that's quite
what actually happened or if someone's just insinuating, but he

(09:51):
definitely said the F word, which is pretty funny.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
And have it on the radio, then me know that.
Let me know that they're not going to be able
to play this SoundBite Walt on Johnston Show. If I
throw the F word around, why does he do it?

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Yeah? Heat of the moment, I guess you.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Know I will, So let's do better, Brisco, I just
call balls and strikes over here. I know some of
our listeners, for those that don't remember this, might be
mad at Brisco because he was involved in the Paxton
impeachment or whatever.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
But I don't care for that.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Okay, But as far as school choice goes, and also
telling off Rhino Republicans, I like that Briscoe did that. Wey,
I like it. I you know I I No one's perfect.
I know no one's perfect, but I do the thought
of telling someone f you guys during a hearing at
two in the morning on school choice. He's one of
the guys that drafted the bills. He should have been
able to make a point there and they wouldn't let him.

(10:40):
And I'll tell you what if you don't know who
Dustin Burrows is, He's a scumbag.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
So how did it come to get what we want
it or not?

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Okay? So the governor obviously hasn't signed it yet, but
apparently overnight back to the universal school choice passed now
in the House. It's going to pass the Senate.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
It's got to go to the Senate now before it
can go to the Gove.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Yeah, but this is very good news. The largest Republican
state in the country finally has school choice. Even Arizona
has it. How do we not have it? Florida has it?

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Even Arizona. They're so beneath us and yet they have it.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
It's a swing state. Why do you hate Arizona because
Texas is a red state. Arizona is a swing state.
How did a swing state?

Speaker 3 (11:19):
It's a red state with a lot of big blue
cities in it.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Bros. You know I'm with you on this. You know
Texas passed the universal school choice bill last night. No
matter what happens, liberals are going to lie and say
that this takes money away from public schools. Just in
FYI real quick to our listeners in Texas, Caana, East
Texas listening out of shreport Waco Corpus Christie in Houston.
Do we have an affiliate there?

Speaker 2 (11:42):
I'm not anymore, But people still listen because once they
got a taste of it, they said, well I have
to have that show. Even if it took it off
the radio, they got it on the.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
App Permian basa in Whichita falls. I don't care where
you are, just know that at some point over the
next few days, you're going to run into your liberal
in laws in an Easter brunch and they're going to
say some cutting money to public schools. Read the bill.
Read that does not take any This will give a
lot of.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Money to Read the bill. That's so funny.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Read the bill. What do you other do that?

Speaker 3 (12:10):
People don't read the bill.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
They just hears something, you know, on the radio, or
they saw a picture on the internet and they read
a caption. They know everything they need to know to
argue about it.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Now, this will absolutely put more money into education, public, private, charter, homeschools,
the whole shebang. It's money for kids education. It's not
money for corporations or whatever they're going to tell you.
It doesn't take money away from public schools. But it
doesn't matter. They're still gonna make that point. Yes, And
you know, Republicans, for the record, you guys try to
play nice with the Democrats, you try to give them

(12:43):
more funding for public schools like they wanted. They're just
gonna lie about it. What is going on right now
on a national level with social security? Are we taking
social Security away from disabled senior citizens?

Speaker 2 (12:54):
According to the guys on the TV. Yeah, but we're not. No,
but they said that we all exactly.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
That's my point. It does. They're just lie. They will
it doesn't matter, go ahead, put more and then knowing
that they're going to do that, why why give them
what they want if they're just gonna lie about it?
Anyway and make it sound like you did the opposite.
We should have we should have taken money away from
public schools, since we're already getting accused of it.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
There's only one Democrat that I'm aware of that wants to,
you know, play by the rules. He wants to stick
to the high ground and do things above board and
out in the open. And he, of course, the great
George Clooney.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Oh, George Clooney. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Now, now, George Clooney has come out and told you
who he thinks might be the front runner in his
opinion for the presidential race of twenty twenty eight. Okay,
and don't you want to know what a stunning, stunningly
handsome celebrity from Hollywood thinks should run the country. There's
nothing more important to me. He was a big fan

(13:55):
of Obama. And you know he didn't lead us wrong
on that.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
No, he never lied.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
A part of that group that got Biden out of
the way, you mean the coup.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Yeah, yeah, And he has great things to say about
the governor of you know, Andy Basheer of Kentucky.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
You know, he's cool.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan. Always, but there's one name he
thinks rises above those, and that is the governor of Maryland,
Wes Moore.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Are you familiar with Wes Well? I just from what
I've learned about him recently. But what did.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
George him as boy? As I know he ain't white? Well,
that's a start.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
He's a guy who handled the tragedy in Baltimore beautifully,
that was the bridge falling down, Sure London Bridge. He
did two tours of duty in Afghanistan, active duty. He
speaks beautifully, he's smart. He ran a hedge fund called
the Robin Hood Foundation. He's a proper leader, says Clooney.

(14:58):
I like him a lot, somebody we could all get behind.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Hey, Clooney did a racism in there? Did you guys
catch it? You're not supposed to say that the black
politicians are articulate, Like why wouldn't they be? Speaks well,
and he's smart. What look ever, you want a black
guy that speaks well? Like, calm down, Clooney, Like, there's
a lot of black guys that are articulate. We don't
need to point it out every time. You're Weirdoes said it.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
About Obama before he was.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
That would be Joe Hiden, running man he said, we
finally have a black guy who's clean and articulate. Excuse me, Well.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
George Clooney says, we got to pick pretty soon. We
got to decide. You know, it's coming up faster than
we think. We don't have a lot of time to
get this right because we got to get behind this guy.
And George Clooney thinks you ought to get behind the.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Guy that he likes.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Let's put together a proper team and stand up because
right now, and he's right about this, Democrats are pulling
very poorly. Yeah, so if you want to, you know,
do a little research on mister Moore of Baltimore, Maryland,
then feel free.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
I always take the pulling data with a grain of salt.
I know it's intended to manipulate us. But right now,
a lot of pulling data says Trump is still above
water on approval with and that the Democrats are well below.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
Here's a little tidbit already that somebody has seen in
the governor of Maryland, forty six year old man who
you heard did all that tours of service blah blah blah,
wlean articulate Baika. New York Times reported that he lied
about receiving a Bronze Star and he says that was

(16:37):
an honest mistake. You know, I don't know anybody that
has ever received any kind of a medal in the military,
bronze star or other.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
That didn't remember it.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Right.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
It's not one of those things where you got a
letter in the mail with all the other mail you got.
You know, you got to notice from the IRS, or
somebody sent you a birthday card and you go, oh, look,
says here getting a bronze Star and they put it away,
or says he's been turned down for the Bronze Star,
but he forgot.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
It was an honest mistake. But enough about That's what
democrats do. They make mistakes, honestly.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
But enough about tampon tim right, same thing, yeah, same
kind of deal, Isn't it odd? Though, whenever there's a
politician accused of stolen valor, it's always, always, always, always
a Democrat, almost always always. I'm trying to think of
a time a Republican was accused of stolen valor. Look,
I don't like Crenshaw. Can't stand John McCain, you know,
wherever he may be now heaving or hell. I have

(17:33):
no idea. But as much as I don't like those guys,
at least they weren't lying about what happened to them
in the line of duty far as we know. You know,
say what you will about all those neo Kon Republican
pro Warhawk to go people. Some people don't like what
is it Marcus Latrell's brother. They call him a neocon,
all right, but those guys really no a big old boy.
It would be a big mistake. Morgan's a nice enough guy,

(17:53):
but you know that he has been accused of being
a Neocon, and I don't.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
I only got into politics. You knew that was gonna happen.
They're going to start saying all kinds of things.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
But for the record, he really did serve in the military.
Wesley Hunt. You know, maybe you don't like Maga Republicans,
he really did fly a helicopter in a war, and
he really did go to West Point.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
The Owen warn him that he shouldn't do that. Your
uncle has made it very clear, Kenny, you need to
tell everybody you know, don't fly in helicopters. They're dangerous.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Oh, I assure you. I've told that to Wesley many, many,
many times.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
And he did it. Anyway, he thought it was funny.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
Yeah, and now the winner of the twenty thirty four
Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Film is.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
George Clooney. Because in all child Will Hollywood, we don't
acknowledge gender. I am told this is a garbage disposal.

(19:08):
I've never seen a garbage disposal. It's a wand massager.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
It says so right on the box Waldon and Johnson
