A #biopic on Ellis Haizlip, the host and executive producer of what was known to be the "Black Tonight Show" of its time, the film provides an intimate perspective on the life of the innovative and political Haizlip who featured many rising stars of black American culture on the show--#SidneyPoitier, #HarryBelafonte, #JamesBaldwin, #StevieWonder, #MayaAngelou, #MuhammadAli and others.
