(02:34):
Our guest is Maurice moo Miller, lead investigator and co
founder of the Black Hills Paranormal Investigations Team, a team
known for its disciplined research, compelling evidence, and fearless pursuit
into the unknown, from haunted mining towns to restless spirits
embodied in centuries of conflict. Mo and his team have
(02:54):
documented some of the region's most chilling and unexplained phenomenon
With the unique blend of scientific methodology, historical research, and
boots on the ground experience, Moe brings the MO brings
a grounded yet gripping perspective to the world of the
paranormal and paranormal investigations. Strap in, listeners and viewers were
(03:16):
heading into the shadows of the Black Hills where history
refuses to stay silent. Now joining me is my good friend,
Moe Miller Mo. Welcome back to the xcellent great seeing you.
Thank you for joining us.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
Good to be with you, Rob, Thanks for having me.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
You know, you and I were chatting a little bit
off air before we hit the buttons here and before
we get into some of the great cases that you
recently worked on with your team. For many of the
listeners and viewers who may be meeting you for the
first time, what first drew you to the world of
the paranormal and investigating it?
Speaker 5 (03:54):
Well originally? And I'm talking when I was like young, young.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Talking about three or four years ago, right.
Speaker 5 (04:02):
Right, right right. I wish my mother and grandmother were
much into Weegi boards and things like that. Oh really
and yeah, And I never paid any attention. I was
too busy run round with my buddies and stuff. And
as I got older, I started researching and reading up
on you know, psychic phenomenon, ghosts and what have you.
(04:24):
But I wasn't reading like horror movie, you know, horror
movie or book things like rl Stein and stuff. I
was reading actual case studies. And what got me into
investigating was if you appeal back the layers of the onion,
all these all the claims from around the world are
basically the same once once you get past what they're
(04:45):
called and how you know what they look like and
things like that.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
Wow, can you tell us how Black Kills Paranormal Investigations
was formed and what your mission is because I've had
you on the show a number of times and in
my opinion, you guys are one of the most unique
professional research teams out there.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
Well, thank you. Uh. We started in seven, two thousand
and seven, and at that time there was like eleven
of us. You know, we got a bunch of people,
were like minded people together and decided to pursue this,
this phenomenon or whatever you want to call it in
(05:29):
our mission statement at the time, and it hasn't really
changed much. Is we want to do this scientifically, not
like walking to a place and go, oh, it's haunted
because it feels you know, creepy and what right, And
so we let the we let our evidence do this
talking we we don't We're not going to tell you
(05:50):
that the place is haunted, you know, things like of
that nature.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
So when somebody contacts you about a possible haunting, how
do you proceed?
Speaker 5 (06:03):
Well, first of all, people they'll email us or they'll
call us, and then we'll talk to them via email
or the phone. Then we'll set up what we what
we affectionately call a walk through, and so we'll go
to the location and me and one other person on
the team will walk, you know, walk through the place.
(06:23):
And that way the client can or the potential client
can tell us, well, there's stuff happening in my kitchen
or at the front office, you know, if it's business.
And then when we come in or if we come in,
because we'll sit down with them prior, you know, during
the walkthrough, and we'll discuss what's going on and if
(06:44):
we can debunk it right then and there that's okay too.
But if we can't and then an investigation is warranted,
we'll set up a time with the client for us
to come in and do our things.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
How long does an investigation usually take? And and how
do you let's let's go back a second, how do
you decide whether something is a legitimate haunting compared to
something that you easily can debunk.
Speaker 5 (07:14):
Well, most people when they call us, something is bothering,
right right, be it paranormal or not. And that's that's
what our job is going is from that point on,
That's what our job is is to determine whether or
not you have a legitimate haunting or is it something
that like a squirrel ness in your attic or whatnot.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
Or bats in your belfry exactly exactly. Okay. So let's
say you and your team, based on your experience, classify
what you've done through your vetting process that this is
a legitimate haunting. What do you do from that point?
Speaker 5 (07:57):
If it's if it's legitimate or we deem it necessary
that we've got to go in. We go in and
we use all of our equipment, and you know, after
you've been in it for a couple you know, ten, fifteen,
twenty years. You develop, I don't I don't want to
say psyche, but you develop, you know, sense, your sensitivity
(08:19):
and enhances a little bit.
Speaker 4 (08:21):
I would imagine that your your your intuition also is
a big part of it, right, yeah.
Speaker 5 (08:25):
Okay, right, And so we'll go in there and we
don't discuss us with the client, but we'll say, okay,
well it feels like there's something in this room, and
so we'll concentrate our efforts in there. But that doesn't
necessarily mean that that is the only place we're gonna look.
We're going to saturate the property entire, the entire ops yeahs,
(08:49):
with our equipment and whatnot. And then when we when
we after we get done, we go back and everybody
listens to the audio and stuff like for instance, I
have six recorders. Now, if I put all six out
like I did when we were at the hospital a
couple weeks ago. Uh, and we were there six seven hours,
(09:12):
that's like do the math, that's like forty two hours
of real time audio that I have to go over.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
So that takes you quite a bit of time.
Speaker 5 (09:23):
I would imagine, yes, it does, Yes, it does.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
So when you're going through the audio, What are you
looking for? Or should say, what are you listening for?
Speaker 5 (09:31):
What I'm listening for is especially if there's nobody else around,
right because everybody on the team we know what everybody
sounds like. We can we can you know, identify that
in people. What we listen for is noises or voices
that that you're not going to hear with your normal ear. Okay, okay,
(09:54):
And that's that's where EVP comes in, Electronic voice phenomenon.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
So during your walkthrough, when you're when you're recording this stuff,
are you asking questions looking for a reply?
Speaker 5 (10:04):
Yes, yes, I yes, we do and.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
What is it? What was it like the very first time, MO,
when you did your investigation, you did your walk through,
you were asking questions. You got home and you started
listening to the audio tape and bang, there was that
first EVP.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
My very first EVP was I actually said hello, right yeah,
and something said hello back at somebody's house. It was
it was my very first investigation. I was there is
no way this this didn't happen, you know. Right then
I brought it to our team and you know, I said, hey,
(10:42):
this is what I caught, and everybody's like Oh my gosh,
that's legit.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
Wow. What did the voice sound like?
Speaker 6 (10:48):
Mo?
Speaker 4 (10:49):
Did it sound like something that we'd hear on TV?
You Hello?
Speaker 5 (10:55):
No, it sounded kind of like a whisper, but it
was it was it was almost metallic almost. It was
like it was like somebody was talking like down a
pipe if you.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
Will, Well, I guess it is a long way from
wherever they are to where we are. Wow. So after
all these years, how does how do you believe that
ev piece work? Because you can't hear the reply in
real time, and yet the voice from the other side
(11:29):
or down the down the pipe is heard and registered
on the tape, and you can only hear it after
the session, right.
Speaker 5 (11:39):
Because we're not listening we're you know, because audio recorders
were not listening to them right while we're doing it.
We're listening to them after the fact, obviously. But the
reason that I that I think that these are legit
is because we know a Plano audio recorder right right
(12:00):
doesn't pick up radio you know, straight radio ways or
anything like that. It's voice or sound activated. Yeah, And
so if I know, like if I'm in a room,
for instance, and I'm saying whatever and asking questions and
all of a sudden something answers me. That wasn't me,
(12:22):
and there's nobody else.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
Around exactly, so you know, law.
Speaker 5 (12:27):
Of averages would state that that's something you know legit.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
Mo, you and I have to take our first break
for this hour. By the way, I love your shirt.
Speaker 5 (12:37):
Oh thank you, thank you.
Speaker 4 (12:38):

guest moas with Black Hills Paranormal on Facebook and all
other social media sites, Black Hills Paranormal is the key
in and on their website is black hill Paranormal dot com. MO.
You were telling me about some recent investigations that you
were doing. In fact, you just finished one, I think
you said three weeks ago. Yes, can you share it
(16:05):
with us?
Speaker 5 (16:07):
Yeah, we were doing a Masonic lodge. Well, it's no
longer a Masonic lodge in Central City, South Dakota. It's
right between dead Wooden Lead, which is like an hour
fifteen minutes from here in rapid city. They called us
in because they were hearing weird things. I haven't gone
(16:29):
over my audio yet, but we were using our SLS cameras,
which are structured light sensor. And upstairs the owner now
has a bar that he doesn't use, but it's it's
a bar. In the pool, it's a couple pool tables.
And on the pool tables was somebody on their knees.
(16:52):
I guess he was playing pool. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (16:56):
Hold on here, hold on here. You actually saw this?
Speaker 5 (16:59):
Yeah? Well, and with an SLS camera, Yeah, everything is
mapped in as a stick big if I'm standing there,
you're gonna see me as a stick figure. But you know,
I'm gonna there's gonna be outlines of all my extremities
and what right with with with When you see a
spirit or a ghost or whatever you want to call it, Uh,
(17:21):
you don't see that. But what you see is a
humanoid figure represented as a stick figure. And I don't know.
I don't know what this guy was doing.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
Cheating. Obviously cheating because you're not supposed to be on
the pool table when you're taking your shot, and I
know that from experience.
Speaker 5 (17:40):
And right right before that, it was kind of cool.
There was two entrances into this big, big area right
and I was coming down one hallway and you can't
you came into where the bar was, and as I
was coming through, I really heavy cigar smoke. I was like,
do you smell that? You guys? And we had a
(18:02):
couple of guests with us, and they were at the
other side of the bar and they they were smelling
it too, And and the guy that owns it doesn't
that owns the place does not smoke, So we don't
know where that came from.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
Maybe it was a guy who was cheating on the
pool table.
Speaker 5 (18:19):
Maybe maybe so?
Speaker 4 (18:22):
Was this the only spirit that you actually caught at
that location?
Speaker 7 (18:26):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (18:26):
We might we we actually heard this is called a
disembodied voice. That's where you hear it right outside. We
were on the second floor and outside there was a
veranda that went almost all it went to the front,
but it didn't go around their front anymore.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
Oh, like the kind we would see in New Orleans
and bourbon O. Great, right, right, Hey, how come I'm
relating everything to Booze tonight?
Speaker 5 (18:55):
It's all good? Okay, ah, But we heard the woman
like yelp or scream or something, and me and one
other investigator, Casey, he's on the team, we heard this
and we went and checked and there was nothing but
our geophones, which we have. Geophones are these little little
(19:21):
devices that measure vibration. Okay, so if you set it
up and you turn it on and you walk by it,
it lights up, all right, gotcha. Anyway, we didn't see anything.
We heard this lady or whatever, and we walked out
on the veranda where we had the geophones, and we
could see somebody there. There was somebody walking away, according
(19:45):
to the geophones. Now I don't know if that's real
or not, but well.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
It sounds pretty convincing since exactly already have proof of
some paranormal activity at that location with a guy on
his knees playing pool because he doesn't know how to shoot, right,
you're getting some other activity. So that's more than coincidence
more in my opinion.
Speaker 5 (20:06):
Yeah, it was, it was, It was. It was strange,
and we we also we had a rim pod between
the two hallways that went into this main bar area.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
Now for the listeners, you don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (20:20):
What rim stands for.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
Just just describe it.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
What it does. It measures proximity, like if somebody's close
to it, and it also measures temperature. And when we
were going, there's two hallways that go into this main
bar area and between the two hallways there are like
three bedrooms. I guess their bedrooms are. They've got beds
(20:47):
in them, so I'm assuming their bedrooms, right. We had
a rim pod in one of these rooms and it
and all of a sudden, it just started going off
and it would not quit, to the point we had
to move it to a different room and then you
got quiet again.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
Well, so you've got evidence. In my opinion of three actions.
You've got the guy on the pool table, you've got
the disembodied voice, and know you've got all this weird
action in what seems to be a bedroom or work right. Yeah,
Is this normal for an investigation where you get so
much activity?
Speaker 5 (21:26):
Yes and no. Some once in a while we'll go
places and we don't get anything, but we have to.
You know, you got to keep in mind that we're
there for a small snapshot in time. True, the other
people lived there twenty four to seven, three hundred and
sixty five days a year, so all hell might break
loose the day before and the day after, but the
(21:50):
day we were there, nothing happened.
Speaker 4 (21:52):
Do you think that the spirits know when you and
your team are going there and they have a little
meeting saying, hey, listen, I have to put guy on
the pool table. Come here for a second. We've got
the guys from Black Hill's Paranormal coming in tomorrow. I
heard the old man downstairs talking about it, so we
got to kind of play it cool, not too much noise,
(22:13):
but just let them nowhere around.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
Yes and no. Actually, because we do the atoms in
Deadwood every October, we work with Deadwood history, and there
is activity there and it seems to be the previous
owners that were there in the early early nineteen hundreds,
and they seem to know when we're when we're coming,
(22:39):
because we we've came every year for going.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
On twelve years now, my lord.
Speaker 5 (22:44):
But yeah, and we're there for three or four weekends,
and the first weekend it's off the chart. There's all
kinds of stuff going on. We're seeing shadow figures, and
we're hearing stuff, and we're seeing stuff and we're capturing audio.
By the fourth week there's nothing there. It's like it's
like they've gotten sick of it.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
Wow. So all this activity is at the beginning when
you start to October investigations like the Waverly Hills. I
don't know if you've been there to do an investigation.
Speaker 5 (23:18):
No, I haven't, but I've heard of it.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
Okay. My question is why, after all these years and
now it's part of the para tourism industry, do the
people still keep getting paranormal activity. Wouldn't the spirits be
sick of all this attention and say, well, screw you guys,
I'm taking off. I'm going to look for that bar
with the guy who's on his knees playing pool. He
(23:41):
sounds like a great guy.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
You would think so, you would think so. And also
our team we have never we've never went to any
of the pair of tourism places because you have to
pay and there they've been investigated ad nausea for a
lack of better terms. But like you said, I would
(24:03):
think that, you know, well, Waverly Hills is huge, but
you would think that the main spirits or whatever, they
would get sick of people, like you said, and they
would go into hiding, if you will.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
I'm wondering if it's possible that these type of hauntings
are the residual hauntings where you get the the paranormal
activity embedded into the structure of the building.
Speaker 5 (24:30):
Yes, that does happen, and we've ran into that, oh
I don't know how many times. Really a yes, because
we've gotten sounds like gunshots and sawing and stuff, and
you know, this is stuff that happened a thousand or
not a thousand, but like one hundred years ago, one
hundred and fifty years ago that we're hearing and there's
(24:52):
nothing else, nothing else is going on. We're just hearing
that noise, right, and what I think has had happening
is running water is notorious for storing stuff, as are
certain types of stone like quartz, like quarts like you
have in your watches, and every too often if the
(25:14):
conditions are just right. And I don't know what is
just right, but they were it releases and there's a
movie on it. I think it was made in sixty
nine or so. It was called the Stone Tape Theory.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
Oh I remember that, yeah.
Speaker 5 (25:30):
Right right, And it was based it was you know
exactly what we're talking about. And when that stuff that happens,
you pick up stuff and you might see like like
for instance, it doesn't happen in America or Canada, I
don't think, but like a Roman legion, like you see
them every night at eight o'clock, they go through your room,
(25:50):
right yep. And they're gonna do that whether you're there
or not.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
There are places like that in Niagara and Niagara Falls
and the Nigra on the Career where the War of
eighteen twelve was. Where's where there's one place. It's right
in front of the Lighthouse Restaurant, which is in between
Niagara Falls and Fort Erie on the Niagara Parkway and
at a certain time, at certain dates, you see these
(26:19):
apparitions of soldiers from the War of eighteen twelve crossing
the road, right, And I.
Speaker 5 (26:26):
Think that's because way back when the War of eighteen
twelve is happening and these soldiers were crossing the road,
there was a lot of energy expelled exactly, And I
think that that hangs around.
Speaker 4 (26:37):
Just like it does at Gettysburg and other historical sites. Hey, Mo,
you and I have to take a break flea stand by.
Great seeing you and thanks for joining us tonight. When
do we come back, Mo, I'd like to talk to
about the haunted hospital that you guys checked in. All right, yes, explanation.
My good friend Moe Miller is our special guest. He
is with the Black Hill's Paranormal Investigation Team. Their website
(26:59):

Speaker 9 (28:26):
A stranger's smiles, a child believed love, rahap softly lie.
Christmas Eve, we all open know, we land together, we
(28:49):
learn to all understand. All friends call and great is
man for Christmas? Turns out a gag Christmas? What Hey?
Speaker 4 (29:16):
Welcome back everyone. Mo Miller's my guest. We're talking about
Black Hills Paranormal in South Dakota. And if you'd like
to find out more about Mo and his gang, just
visit their website, or you can find them anywhere online
on any social media site just by typing in Black
Hill's Paranormal. All right, Mo, talk to me about the hospital,
because it sounded really interesting. I'd love to share it
(29:37):
with our friends.
Speaker 5 (29:39):
Okay, it's also called Delga Castle. Okay. It was a hospital.
It's no longer a hospital anymore. And they called us
to investigate because they were they're they're seeing stuff and
they're hearing strange things aside from the regular busines and
(30:00):
says they have on the first floor. So we went
in in seventy thousand square feet.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
Seventy thousands, that's a big building.
Speaker 5 (30:09):
Oh yeah, and there's five of us. So yeah, on
the first floor. When you after you the residence where
the people live, there's a hallway that goes from where
they live and then it goes to the right in
the hallway in this hall you know, this hallway is
(30:32):
like three or four rooms deep, the one you know
straight away, and then it's seven or eight that you
know to the right. We didn't get much in that
first hallway, except there was somebody peeking at at me
because I was walking. I was heading back into the
(30:52):
into their residence for a break or something. But they
have a mirror right and it in this little sub hallway.
It's some of like ten fifteen feet long, but anyway,
there's a mirror in there and there was I'll be
a monkey's uncle. There was somebody looking at me from
the mirror, you know, in the mirror, and I thought
(31:13):
it was I thought maybe it was a reflection or whatnot.
So I went, I went, I went into that and
into that hallway and looked and no, it wasn't. There
was nothing else that, you know, because we could see
the reflection that that it would just did the wall,
you know, from the other.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
Side, so so that would be like an EVP audio.
But that was that was seen apparition. Yeah, that was
seen on one side of the mirror, but not the
other like through the looking glass.
Speaker 5 (31:44):
Right right, Oh my god. Also when we went down
the hallway to the right, at the very end of
the hallway, we had a pyramid set up. A pyramid.
It's it's it looks like a pyramid, but it's a
motion detector, okay, And it shoots out beams much like
a garage door opener, and if you break the beam,
it makes no noise.
Speaker 4 (32:02):
I used to have a dog that I called Egypt
because the left pyramids all over the house.
Speaker 5 (32:06):
Here right right right, anyway, we're at the junction where
these two hallways meet, and this mind you is at
the end of the hallway and it's going off, and
there's nobody but me and one other investigator with me.
The other people were upstairs because it was there was
three stories to this place. And then we go upstairs
(32:30):
to the second floor. There is an operating room that's
still it's really cool. They don't have the beds necessarily anymore,
but they still have the operating room. Like the lights
and right right, and they still work. It's really amazing. Anyway, well,
when we investigate, well, the lights are off. But anyway,
(32:53):
we heard this god awful screaming and we cannot to
this even now, we still cannot pinpoint where it was
coming from. Pretty much it was a higher pitch than that,
but yeah, it was really weird. And then when you
(33:14):
and after you do the operating rooms and you continue
on down the hallway, it opens up into an area
much like like a gym they had. They had weights
and stuff, and you know, I think it was a
rehab place anyway, we had. And across there's there there's
(33:37):
a hallway in the middle of this place of this thing.
Right hallway was an old doctor's quarters where.
Speaker 4 (33:47):
They lived in the hallway.
Speaker 5 (33:50):
Yeah, he lived, he had a big apartment apparently anyway,
we had a dead bell in there. A dead bell.
It looks like a regular like a like a bell
like you see. They're like the motel and under it.
It sits on a little wood box, right, and it
can work on EVP or not EVPs, but ems right
(34:12):
will make the bell ring or you can hit the plunger.
Speaker 4 (34:17):
And yeah, and the spirit would that would make it
go right.
Speaker 5 (34:22):
And it was going off. We're looking right at it,
and it was like twenty twenty five feet away, and
all five of us were up there. So we're all
five of us witness that.
Speaker 4 (34:31):
Okay, so let me ask you a question at this point,
my friend, how can something you can't see sometimes you
can hear, has no physical mass ring a bell?
Speaker 5 (34:47):
I don't know, but like, like you know, when you die,
everybody says, because we remember this from junior high and
at school, like energy cannot be created or destroyed.
Speaker 4 (35:03):
Yes, that's right.
Speaker 5 (35:04):
So when you die, right, where does that little bit
of energy, that that stuff that you have that makes
your heart and your brain go? Where does it go?
Does it stay like does it stay in a little
ball or does it go off to the collective consciences, you.
Speaker 4 (35:21):
Know, over the years, Mo. You know, I see where
you're going with that. I see where you and it
makes a lot of sense. But how come there's not
a lot more paranormal activity considering how many people have
been born and how have died with all that energy
(35:46):
leaving them, they're leaving the meat suit.
Speaker 5 (35:49):
Yeah, exactly. And you don't have to have at least
with what we've learned, you don't have to have tragedy
for you to, you know, be a ghost or a
spirit or whatever. But that's but you bring up a
good point. Why isn't everybody there's only a certain few.
(36:13):
And maybe it's because they had more energy, Maybe they
had unfinished business, who knows.
Speaker 4 (36:19):
Yeah, you see a lot of the psychics and the
intuitives that we've had on the show over the years
say that certain spirits, and I guess we can call
them energy. I like that the energy decides to remain
for whatever reason, while other energies go to the light.
And maybe the light is where all the other energy
(36:40):
masses and meats, and it's called a light because of
all the all the energy that all these spirits bring
to the to the area. Maybe that's what heaven is.
I have no idea, but that's very interesting.
Speaker 5 (36:52):
That's a really good point. I have no idea. I
don't I don't you know what you have to believe.
I don't believe in or a Hell.
Speaker 4 (37:02):
I do. I believe that hell is here on earth exactly.
Speaker 5 (37:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
So, after all this evidence that you and your team
collected at not only the hospital, but at the bar
with a guy on his knees shooting, I don't think
I'll ever forget that. What conclusions do you come to?
Speaker 5 (37:27):
Well, so far, like at the hospital, and we haven't
talked about.
Speaker 4 (37:32):
Mad and Peacock's we will in the next segment.
Speaker 5 (37:36):
And and and the Masonic lies, the things that are there,
they seem to be there just because they're they're just
hanging out there. They don't mean anybody any harm, they're
not doing anything. And so we're gonna leave it at that.
We'll we'll we'll show the people what we've captured, right,
(37:56):
but we're not gonna call like an exorcist or any
of that mumbo jumbo and try to get rid of
these things, because apparently what's there is there, but it's
not bothering anybody really, And it's funny with the clients.
As soon as you can put a face on something
and tell them that you don't have to be afraid
(38:17):
of this or whatever. There people are buying large pretty
much fine with it.
Speaker 4 (38:23):
Well, I'm going to share something with you that my
producer just just got a call from our editing suite.
While you were talking about the hospital. Just when you
come where you've got a green shirt on. Your black
shirt is buttoned and it's open. There a pixelation on
our screen on our video came there that's never happened before.
(38:44):
And as soon as you stop talking about the hospital,
I was able to put my cursor on it and
click and it went away.
Speaker 5 (38:51):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (38:52):
Yeah, I'll send you. I'll send you the screenshot of it.
It's very interesting. I've never seen that before. Yeah you Wow,
you brought the spirits with you? My friend.
Speaker 5 (39:02):
Maybe.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
And there's another question. What happens if you or your
team accidentally brings something home with you. You can't say, honey,
I've got some visitors with me.
Speaker 5 (39:14):
Funny you just bring that up. That's a question that
we get asked an awful lot. We don't bring anything
home with us because at the end of every investigation,
we do what we affectionately call a smoke down basically,
and we take a stick of pali santo, we light
it and everybody does you know, puts it on it
(39:38):
and we say nothing, can you know, follow us home
or whatnot? And we've never had anything since we've started
doing that, and nothing has followed as home. Once years ago,
I think I brought something home. My son had moved out. Yeah, right,
but when he get mad, he liked to slam his door,
his bedroom door.
Speaker 4 (39:56):
Typical right, right.
Speaker 5 (40:00):
Anyway, my wife and I were in the living room
and we're the only ones in the house and we
hear all three of our bedrooms the door slam. And
I went down there and there was all the doors
are open. Everything was fine. And I came out into
the living room and I said, hey, if you're gonna
live here, I don't care, but you're gonna help clean.
(40:21):
And we've never had any problems with that ever ever.
Speaker 4 (40:24):
Again, Oh my gosh, I got to remember that one.
Yeah till that's my kids when they come to visit, right, yeah. Oh. Interesting.
When we come back from this breakmore, i'd like to
talk to you about the Masonic Lodge and Missus Peacawcks Okay,
let our listeners know how they can find out more
about you.
Speaker 5 (40:40):
Though, Okay, no, no, tell them, Oh tell.
Speaker 4 (40:44):
Them by yourself, you son of a gun. I'm giving
you a plot.
Speaker 5 (40:47):

I will be back on the other side as we

Studios in Saint Catharine's, Ontario, Canada. Oh geez, that looks good.
What is it?
Speaker 5 (41:25):
I don vitamin water?
Speaker 4 (41:27):
Uh? Okay, I thought it was some good old white lightning.
But okay, no, that's later. Huh yeah, exactly most and bye,
good buddy. We'll be back on the other side of
this break. And you're listening to us in your car,
at home or wherever you are, and you've got your
radio turned on on Classic twelve twenty c Faja am
(41:48):
right here in Saint Katharine streaming at Classic twelve twenty
dot ca.
Speaker 10 (41:55):
Oh Friends, where the River meets the haunt in Lake.
Speaker 6 (42:21):
And the Fog Girls in Before Daybreak Canons, Rosston Ghosts
still believe.
Speaker 11 (42:33):
In the shadow of the Maple Trees. Drums of war
still beat below.
Speaker 10 (42:46):
A cause whisper where.
Speaker 6 (42:49):
Cold wind's blow light burns on a barrocks floor.
Speaker 9 (42:58):
They died in battle.
Speaker 4 (43:00):
The size welcome back that was haunted Fort George and
Haunted Fort George is in Niagara on the lake. And
(43:21):
if you're coming down during the summertime and into the
late fall, they have tours of Fort George. Kyle Lufton
is the gentleman behind Ghost of Niagara. He's there and
he and the Guides of the Niagara. What is the
Ghost Tours of Niagara, Craig. Yeah, take you through the
(43:43):
fort and it's a great experience. So once again, if
you're planning on coming down to Niagara, come on down.
We love seeing you and just drive by Fort George,
drop in see where the next tour is and Bob's
your uncle. Hey wait a minute, I'm uncle. Hey, don't
forget me at Christmas time. Mo Miller's my guess. And well,
(44:07):
you've had a lot of experiences, a lot of experiences
over the years. Yes, and I'm talking about the supernatural ones,
not the other kind. Okay, tell me about missus Peacocks.
Speaker 5 (44:21):
Uh, Madam Peacocks, Madam Peacocks. I'm sorry about a month
ago we went in there. That's also it's a three
story well, actually there's only two. There's the main floor,
upper floor in the basement. They called us this summer
(44:43):
and we had to wait till after the bike rally
and whatnot to go in when when we did the
walk through right after the rally, the bike rally in August. Uh.
While we were there, me and Casey, one of the
other members of the team, we watched the lady. She
was sitting at a little bitty They have a little
bit bitty bar in there there. They serve nothing but schlitz.
(45:06):
It's really weird anyway. She yeah, she had she was
wearing a watch and we watched it because we were standing.
We're standing next to her. She was sitting at the bar.
We watched the watch go and reverse, but the second
hand was was spinning and it was crazy, and we're like,
(45:28):
does that happen you know to you and she goes,
that's never happened before.
Speaker 4 (45:34):
In Casey, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (45:37):
He's a little bit on the sensitive side, and he
was he was thinking that there was a portal that
portals in there. And I use a pensulum once in
a while to find portals and whatnot. Right, and an entrance.
If you have an entrance portal, that's where the spirit
(45:57):
you know, comes in. It'll go to the right, okay.
And if if it's an exit portal, your pendulum goes
in a counterclockwise fashion. Okay. Right, And we we found
there's an entrance portal and an exit portal up on
(46:18):
the main floor, right next to a mirror.
Speaker 4 (46:22):
Oh wow.
Speaker 5 (46:23):
And on our obelist six. That's a little thing. It
takes straight EMFs and it converts them into words. It
has like a fifty thousand word bank or whatever. But
it said it told us I'm coming through the mirrors.
Speaker 4 (46:40):
That's what you and I were talking about earlier, right.
Speaker 5 (46:45):
Right, And then we went downstairs and there was a
there's a gentleman down there apparently who likes the lights on.
So we automatically turn the lights off, and we're like, hey,
how do you like it now? And he doesn't, but
he doesn't. He We asked him, was he part of
(47:07):
the building, you know when it was built? Was he was? He?
Was he in a fire because it burnt down? Was
there there was a flood? And no, no, he was,
none of that stuff. And we're we're doing this with
the obolis. Sure, you know, when we're asking him questions
and get answers and whatnot. But he he said that
(47:29):
he came via the portals because the portals are like
they're they it's easiest to explain him. They're like lay lines,
like okay, a lay line right right, okay, And the
portal is like an exit on a lay line. You
can jump off and you hey, what's happening, and then
(47:50):
you jump back on and get get back on your
lay line.
Speaker 4 (47:53):
You go in.
Speaker 5 (47:53):
You're married way.
Speaker 4 (47:54):
Now when you're saying, when you're talking about lay lines, uh,
the work, the the planet is gritted with lay lines.
Are we talking about the same lay lines here?
Speaker 5 (48:04):
See? I don't know, because I know the planet is
gritted with it. Yeah, and I've looked, you know, I've
looked online and whatnot. Sure, and there's not a lot
going through Deadwood or read or anything.
Speaker 4 (48:18):
How about underwater currents.
Speaker 5 (48:20):
See, there is a there is a creek in Deadwood,
it's called City Creek, and it goes underground that nobody
it's you can't see it anymore. And Madam Peacocks, I
bet is probably maybe one hundred fifty feet away. So
maybe this this guy was you know, traveling on the
(48:42):
water and then decided to jump off at Madam Peacocks
says he likes it there apparently.
Speaker 4 (48:47):
Now you were also saying that one of the spirits
through the obelisk told you, told you that he liked
the lights off.
Speaker 5 (48:54):
No, he liked them all.
Speaker 4 (48:55):
Oh so okay, so you shut them all the off?
Speaker 5 (48:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (48:59):
Is it to piss off a spirit?
Speaker 5 (49:02):
Well, when where we weren't trying to piss him off.
We're just seeing how he's going to react because we
turned him right back on.
Speaker 4 (49:12):
What did he say? What was his reaction?
Speaker 5 (49:16):
Oh there was none. All of a sudden it got
really quieted.
Speaker 9 (49:19):
He left.
Speaker 5 (49:21):
Yeah, apparently what they're doing, I thought they came back.
Speaker 4 (49:24):
That's rude.
Speaker 5 (49:25):
It's crazy.
Speaker 4 (49:27):
Do you have you ever had a spirit get really
mad at you?
Speaker 5 (49:31):
Yeah? Way back.
Speaker 4 (49:35):
It was.
Speaker 5 (49:37):
Oh shoot. It was probably my first investigation with VHPI,
because I was with a different group prior to that. Right,
our first one, the first one I went on was
on the west side of Rapid City. It was a
house that had burned, but it only burned inside, doubtside
was fine the inside. They got it it and there's
(49:59):
two I woars and stuff. Right, uh, I went. I
was upstairs in her in the in the bedroom of
the husband and wife that owned it. And apparently way
back the house was moved from somewhere and it got
moved to where where it sits now. And the person
(50:21):
that lived there, the guy didn't like women. He was,
you know, he's a wife beater and whatnot. Oh yeah,
And I said, I said, you're yellow. If you're if
you're talking, you know, if you won't do anything to me,
if you're only don't it to girls, And I'll be
a monkey's uncle. I got slapped on the forehead, clear
(50:42):
as a bell. And then you hear Mark, who's not
on the team anymore. You hear him running away because
he's all asses and elbows. He is getting the hell
out of docks.
Speaker 4 (50:57):
Full of these one.
Speaker 5 (51:00):
Yeah, but I was like, I was like, you got
to be kidding me, hey, because I had never experienced
that before.
Speaker 4 (51:06):
Real.
Speaker 5 (51:08):
Yeah, but there's things as far as demons and stuff go,
And no, I don't. You would think that we've done
this for so many years that we'd have run across one,
but I haven't. I think what we've run across is
like when we were kids and the old guy that
lived it, end of your street, like get out of
my yard, you know, kind of kind of angry. But
(51:32):
that's about as nasty as it got.
Speaker 4 (51:35):
Real, unreal. We've got about three and a half minutes.
Told me about your team and who the members are.
Let's let's give that my shout out.
Speaker 5 (51:44):
Okay, Casey and Nan Hibbert their husband and wife team.
Speaker 4 (51:48):
Hey, guys, welcome to the excellent.
Speaker 5 (51:51):
Yeah. Casey is he's our tech guy. He is so
tech savvy. He's also an actor and he's a professor
at Black Hills State.
Speaker 4 (52:00):
Fantastic in our you know, in the acting area.
Speaker 5 (52:05):
His wife Nan, she's a list maker. Oh my god,
we have lists for everything. She makes this and listen
to this, and it's really cool because she is a
diehard skeptic and she tries and tries even after we've
exhausted what we think, and she thinks of different things,
(52:27):
which is really good. And we've got a brand new guy.
We brought him on the team. He's twenty three. His
name is Zach and he this guy is wiser than
his years portray right right, He's got a really good
head on his shoulders because usually with us, we don't
(52:50):
have anybody below thirty. And that's for the simple reason
is they have too much you know, drama and stuff
all the time, and he doesn't. And we have we
have missed Leanne Harlan who's been on the team. She's
been with us about eight nine years.
Speaker 4 (53:09):
So your team is well seasoned. Yes, excellent. Uh quickly
the Masonic Lodge, yes, Mark, can you tell us in
about a minute and a half.
Speaker 5 (53:23):
Well, that's where that that's where that was the guy
that was playing cool on the pool table.
Speaker 4 (53:27):
Oh okay, that's funny. We started with him, we end
up with him. What the hell is going on here?
Speaker 5 (53:33):
Well, which we don't We don't have a lot of time,
but we inter investigated the stamp mill in Leads, South Dakota. Okay, upstairs,
we had two guys fall out. One guy had a stroke.
He hit his head, he was bleeding, and another guy
in the back back. He was all by himself. The
(53:55):
only thing we had in that room was a periscope,
a paranormal music box, and I think a pyramid. It
was this three and then this guy because they were
letting people come upstairs and do do whatever. But he
got overcome and he was on his hands and knees.
He couldn't he couldn't move. It was crazy. And then
(54:19):
all of our equipment when he when he went down,
the periscope went off. The periscope measures static electricity. It's
like it operates on the tribal electric field, so EMFs
don't bother it or anything. The paranormal music box operates
kind of like the pyramid. It's it's it's a sensor,
but it operates like a garage door. If you break
(54:41):
the beam, it makes a weird noise, right like that once, right,
And we had the pyramid set up in that room too,
And the pyramid is motion sensor, motion motion activated, right,
and it gives off a tone. And this guy went
down and all three of these things went off at
the same time.
Speaker 4 (55:01):
Mo We're going to have to continue this again. Because
