At seventeen minutes after the hour. This is built a phone number eight hundred
and seven to one nine three onethree eight hundred seven two one nine three
one three. Good Friday morning.I hope you're having a great start to
your day. A little bit humidand uh yes, you know that excessive
heat watch thing that's been happening forthe last like two and a half weeks
is still in effect, so makesure to drink lots of water, coffee.
(00:24):
Yeah, that's just yeah, yeah, it's just so great the monsoon
seasons and kick it would be great, but like actually rained humid. Yeah,
we had a couple of minutes theother night, right, yeah,
and as you guys can guess whoare listening pastor Ryan, John Terry or
in the studio with me. It'sabout time. Yes, everybody's back from
(00:44):
wherever they were at. Yeah.We were all over the world. Yeah
yeah, you guys were was inDisneyland, you guys were were we were
in a yeah, so Zambia,Yeahsaka. Yeah. Yeah, I mean
how amazing many photos and videos coffeeat the airport to get you know,
(01:06):
the safaris. Yeah, all thepeople in groups at different places and yeah,
what a what a wonderful bunch ofpeople over there. I just fell
in love with them. They arejust a heart for God, just a
lovely people. Just I want togo back. And the women at the
(01:26):
last church were in They over fedus, they did, and they made
sure that we ate first, overlygenerous at the food that we absolutely love
the women at this one particular.Yeah, I do. I since retirement
coming. So there you go.There you be closer to the Middle East.
(01:52):
I don't know a little bit.Yeah, that's a good thing.
I don't know. Hour flight toDobbies, not that I counted in the
plane. Oh yeah, but youbut you guys actually made it onto Safari.
Yes we did. Yes, yes, you try to get your coffee
shot with the elephant. We tried, We tried, we did. We
(02:14):
did an African dinner, We dida dinner, cruise sunset. Saw some
elephants on the sidelines and hippos, alligators. I did not great pictures.
I was not able to get inwith selfie with the elephant. It was
too late in the day for coffees. But but you actually got a selfie
or not a selfie but a picturewith the launch of lions. Oh yeah,
(02:38):
she actually petted the line. Thatwas crazy. Did not let us
do that? In Ken the lionswill eat well, yeah, they would
eat you there. They have tobe under two years old. Once they're
over to apparently they forget how torelate to humans, how to not kill
fi exactly. And there were youknow, trainers, and they had their
(02:58):
methods of, you know, keepingevery betty safe. You couldn't walk in
front of them, you know,if they if they looked at you,
if they made a contient, youhad to keep it, you know,
and you have to make sure thatthey knew you were behind them. So
that's why when you're walking, you'resupposed to hold their tail, which I
oh, that was an amazing feelingto walk holding a lion's tail. Wow.
(03:19):
Just don't pull too hard, No, no, just hold it,
And that's way they know you're there. And just to keep talking and if
you're coming up you know, fromthe side, to go behind them to
talk to them, and they knowyou're there. But you know, they
had no problem with you petting themsmacking their butts. Yeah. Wow.
So this is this actually kicks itup a notch though, because you know,
I saw your picture with him.I thought Oh, well, you
(03:42):
know, tame lions, but whatyou're describing, I mean, these are
these are these are something still dangerous. You make the wrong yea. And
they had older lions. They're incages. One was like fifteen years old.
And yeah he was like you couldtell he was not as friendly.
He didn't have his tail. Yeah, you're not gonna pet me. But
yeah, major points for Terry becauseyeah, the braves in there. And
(04:03):
yeah, John like hiding in thecar. John was sick. Oh yeah,
no, I was sick back andTerry. Terry got sick the first
week and gave it to me,and then I got sick the second week.
So yeah, I remember say that. And did you ever think was
it just like a cold or something? It was the doctors think it was
a version of COVID of course,Oh yeah, but you came home it
(04:25):
was just a bad flu. Yeahthat's all it was. Yeah, the
medical care this is definitely not thesame there. So opted to just deal
with it the best we could. And you guys brought us these these cool
gifts. So I've got a genuinecoffee from Xavia. I can't wait to
try it. And by the way, Pastor Jay, you know our guy
in South Africa, that's where he'sfrom originally, you guys. Yeah,
(04:48):
and then this little bowl that's madeof some kind of heavy you would with
like a animal stripes. We're actuallygoing to go to the phone. Okay,
I normally don't do this, butallright, saw all d all right
and good morning Barry. Are youthere? Bill? Hey, buddy,
Yeah, I could I could hearyou this time? All right? Right,
(05:09):
very yeah, good morning, Yeah, good morning. What's up?
I was asked, I was gonnawonder if you could play the Imagine song
for me. I can only imagine. We sure can. We'll get it
on the air for you. Yeah. You have a blessed day, Barry.
Remind you God love man. Great, Yes he is, Thank you
(05:29):
sir. That's amazing. All right, thank you Bill? Ye by all
right, Barry from Feeling, California. Maybe someone's calling from Africa. That
would have been really cool, thatwould I can't wait to go back.
Yeah, just I told hery thingabout that this morning. Getting back to
Kenya and the food and so whatabout ministry? Oh my gosh, that
(05:54):
was awesome. Wowver that coming upin just a few minutes. Okay,
all right, So We've got mercyme for Barry and feeling coming up next
and more with Pastor Ryan, Johnand Terry on your Celebration Radio Network.
Our number eight hundred seven two onenine three one three. That's eight hundred
seven two one ninety three thirteen. Here's I can only imagine by mercy me.
(06:15):
Yes, first things first, that'sconsumed by fire on your Celebration Radio
network at eighteen minutes to the topof the hour. This bill that number
again, eight hundred seven two onenine three one three one eight hundred seven
two one ninety three thirteen for thatfavorite prayer request or to ask John and
Terry Zambi a question about celebrate recovery. Now, they've been talking with us
(06:39):
about their adventures and their safaris andsomething boat trips down the river and crocodile's
not getting eating eaten by hippos andoh we weren't close enough to get to
the head bones, and uh,being able to see rhinos and lime pet
lions and just some incredible things. But more incredible is the reason that you
(07:02):
guys went yes, and that wasto spread the gospel to the people and
teach him about celebrate recovery. Yes, that was the number one point for
Terry and I. Our Our maingoal was to go over and teach them
about Celebrate Recovery. And out ofthat we had like four churches that were
interested out of the five churches wewere going to go talk to. But
(07:26):
we we knew once the other churchheard about it, they'd be interested,
but we did. We went over. One of the one of the biggest
issues is we have to take thembooks because they don't have anything leaders,
leaders guid if you've done Celebrate recovery, there's this step study of books and
that type of thing, and alsoBibles. They can't get anything over there.
(07:48):
You can't ship anything to them becausethey will never see it. And
Pastor Ryan has also had that issue, has been trying to send things to
Pastor Jah even in South Africa.Never sees it, never sees it.
So whatever you disappears like from customsor I've tried to ship and stuff directly
from here, and I think Idid use DHLHL. I believe it did
(08:09):
because that is the best one fromFranchell. So I tried to send him
like an updated revelation scroll never showedup. And I've tried to send him
things directly from Amazon, because you'rethinking, what Amazon is drop ship you
know, I've tried that twice.Pastor Man tried to ship and stuff.
Yeah, just everything. Yeah,so that's one of the biggest issues.
So we have to take stuff withus in our luggage, right, you
(08:30):
know, so we try to getit over there. So we only had
four sets of books for launching CelebrateRecovery. And he also took a whole
bunch of Bibles over with us.But yeah, so yeah, so we
took all that with us and asyou know, we make our plans,
but God directs our steps, andthat's what happened. We had an individual
come over from Kenya who has starteda Celebrate Recovery over there, and he
(08:52):
came over because he speaks their dialectand he kind of can relate more to
them and kind of translate for uswhen we need issues around translation. And
we came over and actually contacted someof his Pentecostal church friends. So we
had like I think it was likeeight different Pentecostal churches different, yeah,
yeah, eight different, but wehad eight pastors from eight different Pentecostal churches.
(09:13):
We came in and yes, whybishops and bishops and elders and oh
wow, we had sixteen hours oftraining. We gave them on what Celebrate
Recovery is and what it means andhow it's run. And by the end
of the second day, which islike Tuesday, the room was packed.
(09:33):
They had brought everybody and they wantedto start like the next day. That's
why they wanted to launch a CelebrateRecovery the next day, which we know,
I don't know if listening audience knows, you can't really launch a celebraty.
It takes like almost a year becauseyou have to build up your leaders.
They all have to go through aprocess of training. It takes about
a year before you can actually officiallylaunch a Celebrate Recovery and keep it with
(09:56):
the Celebrate Recovery DNA or their guidelinesright within them area. So so that
was that was absolutely incredible. Itwas awesome just doing all that and then
also just going into the schools.Yeah, we had go ahead, we
had several teams, but we weren'tas involved with that. We got to
experience it for one day. Butyeah, I know a lot of the
(10:18):
other teammates went and visited various schoolsand presented the Gospel and gave them bibles
and soccer balls. And you knowwhich you ever presented the soccer balls was
a hero? Oh yeah, butthere that is. That is one of
the items that Operation Christmas Child andSamaritan's Purse pushes for their shoebox gifts.
(10:41):
Yeah, and it is definitely thatthe number one thing that people send a
soccer ball, you know, thatwild gift, you know, kind of
thing so they can share it witheverybody that yeah, you know they're there.
Yeah, but soccer's on every TV. That is their sport. So
when you get them a soccer ball, it's like giving one of our kids
of football. Bet say the wordsoccer and they don't know what. Oh
you have no idea? Yeah, yeah, that's incredible. Our number eight
(11:09):
hundred seven two one nine three onethree one eight hundred seventy two one nine
three one three more about Celebrate RecoveryZambia and our show topic coming up as
well. Yeah, we'll we'll tryto get to that. I'm really wanting
to hear more about the ministry aspectof your guys's trip, and yeah,
we'll get into that here in justa few minutes. So Austin French with
(11:31):
God Is Good All the Time.Coming up next on Your Celebration Radio Network
eight hundred seven to two one ninethree one three Lauren Daegel and be Okay
on Your Celebration Radio Network six minutesto the top of the hour of the
phone number again eight hundred seven twoone nine three one three one eight hundred
seven two one ninety three thirteen.Pastor Ryan, John and Terry are in
(11:52):
the studio this morning, and we'vebeen talking about their Celebrate recovery trip to
Zambia, the mission trip that theytook, and uh, just some incredible
stuff that we're sharing off the airas well. So sorry, sorry,
you're probably not going to get thewhole story todayiktok unless you're watching it on
TikTok and yeah a little bit orlisten to the podcast. I just might
(12:18):
include our off air conversation and forthis one, so John and Terry,
we were talking about books and andtrying to get everything, get everything over
there, continue with the I lovethe fact that you tried really hard to
show transparency to other churches, andyou know, we get this third world
(12:43):
view of you know, of othercountries in America and the churches here are
sending people there to teach them aboutJesus, and they have this view.
And I've heard it from other peoplethat have traveled as well, not just
Pastor Ryan, John and Terry, their ministers, other missionaries. They feel
(13:03):
like America is so much above them, not only culturally but spiritually. And
I think that's key to why itis so important to be transparent when it's
when we are in another country,to let them know, hey, we're
(13:24):
just like you. We we havefaults, We sin you know, we
we are sinners. Jesus died forus, just like he died for you.
We're not better than you by anyway means or you know, other
than our obviously our our country withour lifestyle, you know, things are
you know instant here. We havedrive through everything, and and we're so
(13:46):
spoiled beyond measure the Roman Empire.Yeah, we have running water, electricity,
you know, and all the waitwhether actual actually toilets in Zambia.
No, well there's kind of okay, Well anyways left, yes. So
that was one of the things wetook with us, is showing that transparency,
(14:09):
especially coming from the Celebrate recovery world. So when we went in and
did our sermons for them on Sundays. We actually took everybody, had a
team that went to these different churches, and we had everybody that one of
us. Terry was one of mine. I had two other girls were with
us. There were you know,in their twenties. But all three of
them would get up and share theirtestimony and let them know, hey,
(14:31):
we're all in the same boat.We all have the same struggles, we
all have the same issues, weall battle with the same sin nature,
and this is what we went throughin life and turning our lives over to
Christ. And so every one ofthem gave a really short testimony, it
was like five minutes or so.And then also in our sermons when we'd
give our sermons, like on mine, I would incorporate a little bit of
(14:52):
my testimony in this sermon as well. So I'm teaching Jesus' words, but
I'm showing how those words impact mylife and how my sin nature and the
things I struggle with and how Iturn that over to Christ. But we
still struggle with the same things, right, So that transparency just blew their
minds because, like you said, they had that perspective us going over there,
(15:13):
that oh yeah, we were muchholier or whatever it was for them.
And then they also have the samething in their culture that the pastors
are held up on a pedestal, and the pastors can't share any issues they
have in their life. So forus as Americans to go over there and
share, hey, we struggle withthe same things. We're all broken.
The only one that lived this lifeperfectly was Jesus. He's the only one
(15:37):
nobody else can. It doesn't matterwhat title you give them, what background
they have, whatever it is,we all struggle with the same sins.
So that just blew their minds. They were like wow, just that transparency
and getting rid of that hypocrisy inthe church is another big one, you
know, because everybody says are hypocrites, Well yeah we are. We're all
sinners. So yeah, so sojust doing that just really opened their minds
(16:03):
to a whole new way of relatingto people and bring and bringing the Word
of God and the Gospel into theirkind into their people in the country there.
So can I say real quick tojust interject, so just you know
my experience over there to in Africa. But but you know what you said,
Bill, and what you're you know, backing up this idea that you
know, maybe there could be aperception over there. I mean, I
(16:23):
mean, sure they're going to beexcited to see Americans over there, because
not a lot of us go overand you know, it is exciting,
but this idea that you know,Americans, you know, Christians are like
kind of at a higher level spiritually, and honestly, can I just be
honest here that my impression is theopposite. So you know, we go
over there, and we talked aboutthis before the show, right that that
(16:45):
over there, you know, yougo into a church meeting, you know,
you walk in, you're the mainspeaker, there's already everybody's there and
they're fellowshipping, and then the servicecould go on for three hours or longer,
and no one's checking their watch. They're not in a hurry. They're
not they're so hungry for God overthere. I don't know, I don't
(17:06):
want to say the wrong thing, but I feel like in Africa that that
that almost they're they're more hungry forGod than than we often see here in
America. So we need that herein America, Yes we do. So
I went there and desire for Godand they're all you know, in prayer
all the time and anyways, youknow, my same Holy Spirit. I
(17:26):
felt him, yes, before weleft. It's like and then we're in
a worship service and I'm like, this is the same God. Oh yeah,
that we all worship that amazing. That just really hit me about how
big God is. Can I askyou guys a few experiences too, but
and I've felt this, like evenin like Lebanon and Gaza everything, right,
(17:48):
that that you go overseas completely differentculture, completely different you know,
continent, hemisphere or whatever. Butwhen you're fellowshipping with other believers, I
feel like you're just at your churchand ass yes, totally yeah, it's
me. You're all brothers in Christ, and you just totally feel just like
wow, like we know in brotherhoodand then that's the Holy Spirit. Yeah.
Yeah, it was just incredible.Yeah, and we'll have more about
(18:12):
that trip, and we'll try toget to Luke chapter twenty three. Yeah
try. Oh that's right, we'redoing to show about the end time today.
Oh yeah, very clearly. That'sgood. Our phone number eight hundred
and seven two one ninety three onethree. That's eight hundred and seven two
one ninety three thirteen. Good Fridaymorning, Yes, take you at your
(18:33):
word by Cody Carnes on your CelebrationRadio Network. It's eleven and a half
minutes after the hour. I wantto say good Friday morning to you if
you're just joining us. Pastor Ryan, John and Terry are in the studio
with me, and we've been talkingabout their trip to Zambia, and uh,
I know that, uh, youguys have been talking off air as
well about stuff that's been going onover there and things that they have that
(18:57):
we don't and we lost, yeahin America, which you know is quite
sad to see sometimes when over therein those third world countries, there are
things that they do way better thanwe do, like community and coming together
(19:19):
when someone's hurting, you know, the whole neighborhood will you know, come
together, and you know, andthen you have like you were you were
talking about restaurants that you'd go intoto have a meal and it'd be three
four hours. Oh yeah, youknow, kind of an experience more than
just a just a community and community, yeah exactly. And then here,
you know, it's like, wellyou've been here thirty minutes, you're done.
(19:42):
Golds, you know, we nearthe table. We need to clear
the table and make room for morepeople, you know. So yeah,
there's there's things that we've definitely lostin uh, in our neighborhoods and in
cities and yeh and uh yeah, that that connection with others, you know,
the social media and other things thathave just taken place the place of
(20:07):
I should say certain things, yes, and like you know, it's really,
it's really. You go to arestaurant today and you'll see a family
sitting there. Everybody's got their deviceand oh yeah, you know, nobody's
talking to one another. We try, as a family if we ever do
get a chance to go to arestaurant. We hardly ever do because of
finances because everything is so expensive now, but we always make sure the phones
(20:33):
don't get up in our faces. You know. We like to look at
one another and actually have conversations. That's another thing that I know that especially
when you have forty minutes in arestaurant, you can't have your phone.
Yeah you know they want that tableturned quick. Yeah yeah over there,
Yeah, it's over there. Youdon't. It's just like you go into
a restaurant, you're looking an easythree hours just just to sit and talk
(20:57):
and you know, be with people, yeah, and have those relationships and
build that build that connect. Yes, yeah, and when they have that,
it's just and and with that ourculture and going in the first time
we went in a restaurant, we'rejust like, why is everything so slow?
You know, we're so used toour food coming out order and it's
there in ten minutes. Over there, it's like you order, you might
(21:18):
see it in an hour. Andso for us, it was it was
kind of that first time, itwas kind of like what do we do?
What do you do with yourselves? So really, you know, so
the whole, the whole thing.I think it was seventeen of us that
went over, that went over, and then there was one evening that we
took our best drivers and their wivesbecause you know, they can't afford to
eat at a nicer restaurant because thewages are not i mean, the cost
(21:41):
of living out there's so much lowerthan ours, so the wages are a
lot lower. So we treated themand you know, so there was like
twenty people at our restaurant and it'slike it, I mean, that takes
time anyway, right, the bonding, Yeah, but the bonding there you
know, even with us, withthe bus drivers and all of us together,
the seventeen of us, we've reallyformed a very tight bond because being
(22:03):
in that environment and you know, not being pushed out the door and having
to actually sit and talk with eachother, and we all know each other
very well right now, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, so, and
it's just and when I see himnow, it's just like, oh my
gosh, it's like family. Youknow, when when we get when we
get to when we get to churchor whatever, we run into anybody,
the seventeen of us at one onthat trip, it's very much they are
(22:25):
part of the family. Like yousaid, that community. Then just being
over there just helped us all bond. Even one of our best drivers I'm
friends with on Facebook. Yes,a lot of them. Yes, that's
a lot of the pastors and everythingwe're friends with. And I know that
with the US coming out of thepandemic, a lot of those habits that
(22:47):
we formed because of the isolation andthe restrictions placed on basically the world,
not just the United States or otheryou know, larger countries, but everywhere,
you know, you had to wearface masks, and so people weren't
able to see one another. Allthey saw was your eyes, you know,
and if you're not smiling with youreyes, then you know, you
(23:08):
see that that person is not youknow, feeling well or whatever. But
it is really difficult to connect withsomeone if you can't see them right.
And a lot of us got usedto, I think, especially in the
United States and maybe you know, like Europe and a couple of other countries,
probably where the masses weren't massing, you know, they weren't they weren't
(23:33):
going to the stores, they weren'tgoing to the restaurants, they weren't you
know, and and here none ofus were doing that, you know,
And and a lot of that gotstripped away over two years and more.
And I think that has had sucha negative impact on our country with and
then we see it in the newsfeeds and and other things and instances where
(23:57):
I mean, you know, learthis week we had a former president,
you know, almost assassinated, andyou know, we we have mass shootings,
and and they've only it seems likeit's only gotten worse since the pandemic.
And I think a lot of theisolation, a lot of the all
(24:18):
we had was social media, youknow, we had our We had our
phones, our laptops and our tabletsand things that we could connect with,
but there's no connection, right,The connection got lost. So I mean,
yeah, we get to you know, see our families and stuff through
our phones and FaceTime and and onFacebook and and TikTok and Twitter and you
(24:40):
know, yeah, Twitter, allof these other things. Okay, Instagram,
whatever you're using. But it's nota connection. No, it's not
real. You know. It's notthat face to face that that that being
able to hug somebody or shake theirhand or pat them on the back and
say you got this. You know. Yeah, we can do it in
a video, but it's not thesame thing. Same And Christ wants us
(25:06):
to be his hands and feet, and it's really difficult to do that if
you can't actually physically touch somebody else, to look at them, look at
them in the eye and tell them, hey, you're gonna make it,
you know. And so yeah,I think that's one thing that these countries
that you guys have gone to theZambia, to to South Africa and Kenya,
(25:30):
Tanzany. I mean you've been toyou know, Israel multiple times,
pastor Ryan and being able to seethese people and physically, you know,
talk to them and things that connection. Yeah, we need to spread the
gospel, definitely. Radios is great, if not the best tool to be
(25:51):
able to do that, but it'sthe people that are sharing it with somebody
like you guys just did in Zambia, being able to be in front of
those crowds and that those churches andtelling them, hey, you know,
I'm human. I've made mistakes. You know, I still trip and fall.
You know, no matter what youthink of me as being up here
(26:14):
on this platform, I'm not youknow, above anybody. And and I
think here in America sometimes we forgetyou know that there are people out there
that think that we're like that andmore, you know, full of ourselves
and being hypocritical and and you know, so I don't know why I'm discussing
(26:37):
this, but it's good though.I mean, Americans need to hear of
do it because you know, Jesuswants us to be like I said,
his hands and feet. He wantsus to touch people and he went to
where they were at. Yeah hedid, women at the well. I
know. Well, another takeaway.I don't know if we have time before
we have to go to break, but we have a minute, you go,
(26:59):
okay, is there was no Imean, yeah, you could say
something started at eight thirty, butit wouldn't start until nine nine thirty because
people would mill around and talk andhave that connection. There was connection actually
fellowship, fellowship figure out. Youknow. There was no pressure to no
pressure to any word at any giventime. Yeah, and that's something I'm
trying to carry with me because youknow, I'm reminded Jesus never hurt anywhere.
(27:22):
Yeah, so why do we dothat to ourselves? Yeah exactly.
Yeah, Well it's that microwave generation, the instant you know, I gotta
have it now, attitude, iffypop. Yeah, I mean that's where
it all started. Yeah, microwavescame out, and then you know everything
(27:44):
is fast foods, drive throughs, you know, instant satisfaction of you know,
the social media being able to youknow, connect with somebody. We're
way around the world and in itentertainment, entertainment, everything was dead to
if you show her two yeah exactly, So it's addicting. Yeah, yes,
it is. One eight hundred seventwo one ninety three one three eight
(28:07):
hundred seven to two one ninety threethirteen. We'll have final words on Zambia
coming up, and then we'll tryto get to Luke twenty three thirty ninety
forty three. We'll try to dothat here coming up in just a little
bit. Eight hundred seven two oneninety three one three one eight hundred seven
two one ninety three thirteen. ZachWilliams and Dolly Pardon up next with Looking
for You on Your Celebration Radio Network. Good Friday morning. That is Phil
(28:30):
Wickham with The Jesus Way on YourCelebration Radio Network off of his I Believe
album. It is twenty minutes tothe top of the hour. Pastor Ryan,
John and Terrier in the studio withme this morning, and uh,
in the last break, I saidthat we'd have some final thoughts on there
Zambia trip. That they were helpingchurches start up, celebrate recoveries, and
(28:55):
they had some incredible experiences not justin the churches, but in the river,
the Safaris, restaurants and the people. I want to hear about the
people. Yes, most important thing. Yeah, they were so Yeah,
they were wonderful. They were tryingto think of there were so many there's
(29:17):
so many different well, I meanyou met with what four different churches well,
we ended up meeting with five differentchurches. They were the Baptist churches,
which is where we went and didour sermons at, but we also
had met with the Pentecostal churches andthey were from a different part of the
area, from another city or no, they were still in the Soaka And
(29:37):
it was actually at one of theirPentecostal churches where we met as Pastor Davies,
and he actually had an orphanage therethat he runs. Oh wow,
yeah, so it's it was.It was It was really cool because we
got to go into the orphanage,we got to meet a lot of the
kids, and I mean, youjust want to talk about some well behaved
Oh my gosh. Being in thechildren's ministry here and then going over there
(30:00):
and working with these children are like, we want to take all you back
with us because I mean, everyone of them, they're just so well
behaved and had such manners. Itwas just incredible. One of our co
co team members brought a big bagof candy, you know, Starburst and
schedules, so you know, sowent melt and gave it to the you
(30:21):
know, the Davies, which wasthe you know, the main guy with
the orphanagine. They lined up singlefile. They got one piece of candy,
and we're so happy to have it. Nobody asked for seconds. Yeah,
and I'm like, oh, thisis like not like I'm in the
Twilight Zone here. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, because you have you know,
American children, that's it. Onepiece. You know you don't like
(30:41):
that kind of candy. Yeah,I don't like that. Every one of
them curtsied and bowed to us asthey took the piece of candy too.
It was like, wow, that'ssomething. Yeah, it's just amazing.
I can't remember were we on theair when we made the point that that
that your guys experience over there,My experience when I met with Christians in
(31:02):
different countries right is is again it'sit's like you're, yes, you could
be fellowshipping with somebody that you've knownfor years in your own church here in
very much. It's that it's thatsame holy spirit. But it's just that
that instant connection. It's it's hardto explain, it is, it's just
very hard to explain. Yeah,it's so familiar. You just you just
know each that's why it's christ Yeah. Yeah, And I met with the
(31:25):
one pastor Jonathan over there. Fairviewwas a church, Fairview Baptist Church.
Just like instant, he was justhe was one of those people that I
just you know, you just relateto him. It's like like I knew
on my whole life. And thentheir worship leader gracious, oh my gosh,
it was like my brother. JustI met him and it was like
instant, Wow, okay, you'reyou're you are totally my brother. We
(31:47):
just hugged and I was like, dude, his name his name is,
Yeah, Yeah, he's really reallynice guy. It was like that everywhere
though, you know, those twojust came to mind right off the bat
because they were like the first twothat I'm at one of the Baptist churches,
but all of the churches we wentto were that same, same exact
experience. Just let all brothers inChrist, all brothers and sisters in Christ.
Everybody loved on each other. It'sjust wonderful experience. Yeah, that
(32:13):
definitely was. So those are thehighlights from Zambia and I want to thank
you guys again for sharing all ofthat. And I know we're going to
go to some music here in amoment, but do you have any just
final thoughts on. I know youguys are planning on going back, Oh
yes, whether it be for youknow, celebrate recovery or just to retire.
(32:37):
So there you go, because youfell in love with the with the
area and the people. And youknow that seems to happen no matter who
is in this studio talking about theirmissionary trip or their trip to another country
to talk about Christ. And itis just amazing when we have that opportunity
(32:59):
to go to play like this andshare the gospel, share Jesus with somebody,
and we can have The cool thingabout that is is we can have
that in our own neighborhood. Yeswe don't have to go to a third
world country, we don't have togo to you know, another state or
city. We can have that herein the city that you're in right now
(33:20):
by sharing Jesus with your neighbors, with those people you work with with.
And that's what we're called to do. Honestly, we are called to spread
the Gospel. You know, we'recalled the Great Commission for a reason.
It's not just for the pastor yes, or the evangelist or the teacher.
Like you said earlier, we're allHis hands and feet every one of us
(33:40):
go into all the world, andwe are called to be salt and light
and to be His hands and feet. And take that to the person that
lives across the street from you,or the guy that's in the cubicle next
to you, or you know,or in the drive through or a restaurant
with a waitress in another hating thereturn of Christ, which we all need
(34:00):
to do that because Jesus said that. He said, and then this gospel
will be preached to the whole world, and then the end will come.
Yeah, and we want the endtocome. We you know, it's an
end time show. Of course,we want the indocom we talked about.
Yeah, but yeah, so sowe have a part to play in that
so that, you know, tothe extent that we get that gospel out
to this whole world. It's it'sthat much sooner. The Christ is going
(34:22):
to come back. It's called boynews is good news. So and the
world needs to hear good news todaybecause they're not getting it from media.
Jesus is coming back there you go, there's good news there soon. So
we want to hear from you today. Eight hundred seven two one nine three
one three one eight hundred seven twoone ninety three thirteen, and we'll have
(34:44):
some uh, well, I guesswe're well getting twenty three. Oh no,
but well we'll have just some finalthoughts from pastor Ryan and the gang
here in just a few moments. So stay tuned eight hundred seven two one

And uh, yes, we're aboutto have a good day. Yeah,
we've already been having a good day. Ye you know the listener out
there there, they're probably just startingtheir day. So well, I have
(37:22):
pastor Ryan, John and Terry inthe studio with me this morning, and
we've been talking about the celebrate recoverytrip for Calvary Baptist and and I know
that Pastor Mike went along with Ohyeah, and you guys had what seventeen
people, ye seven seventeen people. You saw some of those photos and I
was like, I don't know them, I don't know you. Oh,
(37:44):
I know them, you know. And so a lot of different people went
from Calvary Baptist here in Lake HavasuCity, and I'm sure that they all
had just incredible experiences just from whatyou guys shared this morning. And again
I want to thank you for doingthat. You brought in a little bit
of another country into our studio andshared with the listening audience. So just
(38:10):
remember, folks that you know,we're in this fight together, yes,
and we you know, we don'tbattle against flesh and blood, but against
powers and wickedness and high places andand you know that is that is our
battle. So sometimes it just happensto be in our neck of the woods,
(38:31):
and you know, we've got toremember that we're part of a larger
body of Christ. And we havepeople praying. I know that there's lots
of people praying, and I wantto mention speaking of praying. We have
a prayer wall actually on our onour website and through the app that you
can get on you sign up,you just put in your email and your
(38:52):
personal information there with your name andand email, and you can list your
prayer requests and you get others topray for you as well, and you
get responses and text messages back lettingyou know that people are praying for that
need. You can let other peopleknow that you're praying for their needs as
well. So, uh, yeah, if you haven't checked it out yet
(39:12):
already, go to canob dot com. You can get it there or actually
your Celebration Radio network either one orthrough the app of your celebration Radio network.
It'll take you there too. Sothere you go, pastor Ryan,
Yeah, share, share your thoughtson what we're going to be doing for
the next show and know that.Yeah, get to Luke chapter twenty three
(39:35):
today. But was it twenty twochapter twenty three? Yeah, yeah,
so you know, it's been fiveweeks I think since we were our last
show because everybody traveling and everything soright, and it's so great to hear
about the mission trip to Zambia.Just what a blessing, amazing I'm excited
to get back over. Yes,maybe we'll do like Zimbabwe together there we
go, right, yeah, Madagascar, Yeah, live from Zimbabwe. So
(40:00):
yeah, So when we come back, presumably in two weeks from today,
we'll kind of get back into ourregular topic and you know, teaching or
yeah for the show. Right,So so you know, everybody knows we
talk about the end times here theseFinal Days of Ministries? Is my ministry?
You go to these Final Days dotorg. Right, But so we
(40:20):
left off, you know, amonth and a half ago whenever talking about
this weird place that the Bible talksabout called shield the cities under the earth.
That's where the souls of the deadwould go before Christ came. Because
before Christ came, really with justa couple of small exceptions, no one
could get into heaven. So therehad to be this like you know,
(40:40):
holding facility and the kind of overarchingyou know, question here is what is
God's ultimate plan and destiny for theJewish people who actually are in special covenant
with God that no other people's onearth have ever ever you know, been
in, right, right, Andso it's a little bit more common plex
and I think we, as youknow, Christians sometimes think right. So
(41:04):
when we come back in a coupleof weeks, we're going to get back
into that. We have a lotof scripture to look at. I think
everybody will get a lot of insightsand a lot of good food for thought.
But but again it's gonna have towait till the next show. So
yeah, but that's been great, guys. I just and thank you again
for the gifts. Yeah, myZambient you know, I got to read
that. I don't think I didthis on the air, but there's a
there's a like a slogan on thisbeautiful bag of real Zambient coffee. I
(41:30):
wish I could show the picture onthe air, and it says Africa needs
trade more than aid and I justlove that concept. So, you know,
kind of kind of the world's mindsetis here, let's just throw money
at them, and they're saying, look, we're we're just like you guys
were people. We want to youknow, grow our economy, support our
people, and so anyways, Ilike them. And then the little bowl
(41:52):
made out of some kind of woodwith the beautiful animals right right on my
desk. Yeah, so same here, it's in my desk right now.
Yeah, but sure appreciate you guys, but hey, so as we always
