(00:00):
Mercy me and always only Jesus onyour celebration or radio network. This is
Bill and the phone number here eighthundred seventy two one nine three one three
one eight hundred seven two one ninethree one three. At twenty one minutes
after the hour, we have PastorRyan, John and Terry and we're soon
going to be joined by our affiliate, you can say, our correspondent,
(00:23):
the Lebanon and yeah goo, yeah, he's going to be talking about the
Lebanese Christians inside Hesbela territories say theydon't want a war with Israel. Pastor
right, yeah, yeah, thisdoes Yeah, then that wild when I
saw this article on this you neverthink about Christians being in the middle of
something like that. You know,we're always reading about Hesbelah and the Jews
(00:47):
and the battle. That's all Israeland that's all you hear, but Iran
and yeah and all that, andyou're thinking, well, they're all Muslims,
yeah, you know, and youknow, but there's a huge population
of Christians in the Middle East,Yeah, especially in Lebanon. Lebanon the
most Christian nation in the entire MiddleEast. About a third of the population
(01:07):
is Christian and and they're always fightingfor power and control. So it's a
third Christian, the third Sunni Muslim, and then a third Sia Muslim,
which is Iran and has blaw andjust there's been not just tension but full
on you know, civil war,and Navel comment on that a little bit.
But but yeah, I think Ithink most of us here when we
think of you know, the conflictgoing on right now, we just think
(01:30):
in in you know, monolithic terms, you know, Lebanon levels, completely
not true. Yeah, there's ahuge percentage of Lebanon that does not want
war with Israel and in fact likesIsrael. So they went along pretty good.
Yeah, they in fact, Idon't want We have to be careful
with the radio. I mean, not that HESBLA is listening them, you
(01:51):
never know. But but yeah, there's there is a very large percentage of
Lebanese who actually dream of signing outto the Abraham Cords, having real peace
and commerce with Israel. Yeah, and you've had that conversation with not only
Nayef but others as well in thatquite a few eas It's so yeah,
there's zero question. It's a youknow, gigantic percentage. So I think
(02:12):
the Sunni Muslims are you know, could probably go either way. It's probably
you know, fifty to fifty. But that being said, that means probably
half of Lebanon at least favors peacewith Israel. Not just peace, but
you know, friendship and commerce. And they used to have that, yeah,
before Iran came in and hes bloggot set up and they had you
know, the border there between Israeland but you guys know, I've been
(02:34):
there with Naef. There's actually agate there. The name of the gate
is the Friendly Gate, right, and it used to be completely wide open,
and you know, I mean youhad to go through a little checkpoint,
but the Lebanese and Israelis would goback and forth, you know,
all the time. This is probablypre nineteen seventy five. But they,
you know, they got along great. They were actually friends. Lebanon Neayf
(02:55):
always reminds me is part of theHoly Land. Yeah, actually is.
You know, so Jesus when hedid his first miracle at Kana, you
know, Kana turning water into wine, that was actually in southern Lebanon.
Tier we read about se Doon, the Cedars of Lebanon difficult, yeah,
and the Christians of Lebanon, theMaronite Christians. That's actually the oldest Christian
(03:21):
sect on earth. It predates Catholicismby about, you know, probably three
hundred years. So they're and they'reand they're strong man. Yeah, they've
been around a long, long longyeah. And they carry guns and you
know, they're they're they're tough. So but yeah, so what do you
guys think? Shall we call Let'sget a get a direct perspective exclusive for
(03:43):
our these final days can be yourcelebration radio network audience, right yep,
So let's give him a call.All right. See, we'll do a
voice call. So everyone, we'redialing Beirut, Lebanon. It's a cool
show or what? Yeah? Howcool is that? Yeah? You know.
CBN News traveled inside the hespal ofTerritory for an up close look at
(04:06):
how believers are doing there and sincehey, yeah, good morning or good
morning, noon or good evening.Well, yeah, it's it's four o'clock
there the afternoon there you go,yeah, about four in the afternoon there,
So nay, can you hear us? Okay? Yes, I hate
it? Good? Okay? Ohgood? And you sound good too,
(04:28):
yeah, And don't talk to uson speakerphone, put the put the phone
up to your head so we canhear you. So, how are you?
I'm fine, good, Yeah,it's good to hear your voice.
So yeah, so we we youknow, we're way over here in Lake
Havasu City, Arizona, and hopingto get a inside scoop Lebanese perspective of
(04:50):
what's going on over there. Sotell us something, yes, yes,
yeah, So what's happening our thenew? The new? They knew what's
happened last Sunday? Uh? Solast Sunday one of our leader friend in
(05:13):
Biblos, his name is Pascal,so he was she was, yes,
solemn, he was offering convalescence toa relative and upper returning, upper returning
in his way okay a card blockat the and and kidnap it and take
him to Syria. Yeah I readthat. Yes, So they actually kidnapped
(05:38):
this this leader, Pascal Solomon andthen and they actually take him seriously yeah,
and then killed yes. So sothey beat him, they tortured him,
okay, uh And after they killedhim, so saying, he dropped
in a land in Syria. Andthis time one of his friend he was
(06:00):
talking to him a phone and hehere the Pascal say to the terrorists,
don't don't kill me, I havea child, and suddenly the line is
cut. So this person he didsays, takes the phone and call you
know the his force is the leaderand everybody. So when they start to
(06:24):
search up for him, what's what, we find that the car he was
going on all the way of fasballLaw road. Who who can offer you
know, the terrorists and you knowall the borders with him. Oh yeah,
(06:45):
it's I know has block. Yeah, after fifteen hours, after fifteen
hour, we find that they killedhim and they want to put this murder
of the city and people to letthe Christian and Lebanon be in fight with
the Syrian. Yeah. So soI know that has Blas denying any involvement
(07:09):
in this in this murder, butbut it was has Blah. This is
a run behind us, right, just trying to Yeah, and do you
do you think that? So explainto our in the south. Yeah.
So so this is so this particulargentleman who was who was murdered Pascal.
Uh so, he was a commanderin the Lebanese forces. Can you can
(07:30):
you explain for us what the Lebaneseforces is so that's not the regular Lebanese
army. This is a special militaryfactor. Yeah, the Lebanese forces.
It's a Christian resistant who was createdduring the Civil War in nineteen seventy five.
(07:51):
Yeah, nineteen seventy five is theChristian you know, they was,
I have to choice. The firstchoice to go by ship and left this
country, and the second choice isto fight and stay in this land,
in her land here, so decidethey decided to fight. You know,
all the world was counter them.Who just helped them was the Israelian army
(08:18):
who they give him you no gunand they help him physically and yeah,
weapons to be in fight. Yeahand and in this case, you know
it started li Banese forces and hewas very strong. He was occupied about
three thousand, six hundred kilometers.Who was talking, say this is the
(08:45):
land who it's free from all Levelevenit's ten thousands, four hundred fifty two
kilometers. The three thousand, sixhundred kilometers was free. Who they are?
We don't have any Pcilian army anywhere, hasbo law or any from
the Palacinian They was here. Sothis leban Is force, it was a
(09:07):
resistant who was fighting the stranger andto take care about the Christian in this
land. Yeah, so so sowe're talking, we're talking before we call
you. So what is the percentageof Christians in Lebanon? So the Lebanese
population, what percentage is Christian?Okay? Now in these days who they
(09:33):
are in Lebanon, it's about thirtyseven percentage just yeah, more than we
have sixteen million, Yeah, sixteenmillion Lebanese who they lived out of Lebanon
and they don't get back her nationalityand all they are poulition. If they
return back, they take back hernationality. Lebanon going to be one hundred
(09:54):
percent Christian. The Muslims they don'thave anything, ye yeah, and sety
seven percent they are, they goto be less and less. But because
you know, the commercial, thebad politics, everything befar to go away
(10:20):
some to United States, Canada,to Europe, to Australia. Right,
they start to go one by one, one by one. Oh sure it's
so dangerous are yeah in Lebanon. So but if you want to take the
land, the land, who thewho the land of Lebanon, it's seventy
percent for THEI the land. Wow, I'm not talking about population, but
(10:43):
I think I was talking about thesurface of Lebanon seventy percent. I didn't
know that. Wow, that's that'sa lot. Yeah, and you know,
you know our audience, I thinkyou know again, before we called
you, we made the point thatthat I think in America we just think
in terms of Okay, Lebanon,is it war with Israel? But it's
not Lebanon. The forces who areagainst Israel are Iran. Uh, they're
(11:07):
you know the two hes blogers rightthere, proxy of Iran. And also
you mentioned the Palestinians. So thePLO established a foothold in southern Lebanon.
And that's that's what the civil warwas about, right in nineteen seventy five,
was was getting the PLO out.Yes, yeah, And and so
how do how do the Palacilian andone one face to the same money.
(11:28):
Let's see one face the same money, anthrop right, So, so how
did the Christians in Lebanon feel aboutIsrael? My blessing, let me explain
for you about what's happening now inLebanon. You know that Iran occupied it
(11:48):
for Arab capitals without anyone detering. You know this, and today we and
you at the same time, andis it and the Arab country, the
Gulf, okay, the one payingthis price okay, through terrorism in case
Bahamas or hasbal Lah or Hosigin inYhaman or Hashed Shabraq or you know,
(12:13):
or we are paying this because nobodywas safe for Iran stop right, okay.
And the Lebanese people okay, andthe overwhelming majority do not want the
war, right. You know,we are a people who love the culture
of life, but Iran through Hasbala, want a culture of death for us.
(12:33):
Of course, they have destroyed oureconomy. They have to destroyed our
economy, our banking. You know, our hospital. It was the first
hospital in the Middle East, andwe was saying, parrot is Switzerland,
okay, and support. They destroyedthe poor and we no longer have any
(12:54):
infrastructure. This came from her. They put her hand in everything in the
government, in the ministries and theparliament and everything. Okay. They want
to occupy Beairod and want to remaina Lebanon to be their fifth capital,
as he says, So that man, we have four capital okay, and
now we are working for the factwith Bailrod. Yeah, and I know
(13:16):
that has one. They will havethe five's capital so this is all,
this is all, okay, allwhat's happening now? Okay, it's it's
going to to to some of theLebanese people. They are never not Thebaneys
for us. Okay, we say, this is the Runian people. Okay.
(13:37):
They want to go to be infight and in war. This Israel,
and we don't want to be worsis Reel. We want to live
in peace with Rael, of course. Why we want to be be okay,
why I want to pay what Hamashe do? Okay, Hamas what
he do? And the Palacini forus since nineteen seventy five and before since
(13:58):
nineteen forty eight, okay, thePalestinians they destroyed our country and they still
lift our country, okay, likea refuge. And in all her camp
they have guns. You don't knowwhen they go to make a murder,
they go to make, you know, a fight. We don't want the
(14:18):
war. We we we we don't. We don't hate Israel. We want
to peace. We want to livein peace with her, you know other
marriage. Go and see she wasa desert Lebanon. It's a it's a
paradise. It is during times thatshe was a desert. Now now have
(14:39):
a look for for image. Shelive in peace. Okay, go and
see so all the Arabia go andsee old Arab They go to have a
peace. Because this is a world. What canna bring for her capital and
for her country? What's happened inSyria? Because you know, because Iran,
(15:03):
she she put in her eyes Okay, she want to fight, she
want okay, and I wish shefight by by heard by her, by
her people or by her you know, her soldier. She go every country.
She want to make a trouble andput us, you know, in
a prison. Now we are aprison in our country. Yeah, so
(15:26):
I mean reprosex. So so Iwant to remind our audience. So,
so this is all about Iran. And Iran calls Israel the little Satan,
and they call the United States thegreat Satan. So Iran's ultimate goal is
to destroy Israel and then in turnwipe out the United States. So and
this this is very much a spiritualwar. This is the great End Times
war. So so Israel I knowthat it would be in Israel's great best
(15:48):
interest to once again align with theChristians in Lebanon. And I mean,
is there any is there any wordthat uh, that that that you know
of. I know you have aninside track there that Israel is talking to
the Lebanese forces the Christians about thecurrent situation. Maybe working together they're talking.
Yeah, yeah, there's probably topticinformation. Yeah. Anyways, hey,
(16:12):
listen, my brother you know saying, you know, you know,
let's see now in Lebanon, theMustims need Lebanon. They wish to Israel
heavy war with husble love to killthem. Look what's happened now because everybody
they are angry from Iran and theChristian at the same time they pray for
the Lord. Okay, heavy war, Okay, we know that our country
(16:34):
want to go. You want todestroy it because you know it can disloy
our country in twenty four hours.Oh yeah, we know what's what you
can do. Okay, But wedon't have any choice. We don't have
any choice. We cannot live ina present. We are a prisoner of
course. Hey, hey, listen, I hate to catch up, but
we got we need to in theinterview. Yeah, you know, we
have short segments here, but uh, phenomenal to hear from you. Great
(16:56):
here. I want I want oris to remember this, that that Lebanon
is not against Israel. Lebanon,Uh, you know loves Israel has worked
with Israel. It's Iran that thatyou know, it's fighting against Israel.
So we need to keep Lebanon andour Lebanese Christians and brothers there in prayer.
And my gosh, if there's anylike congressmen listening, you know,
(17:18):
call leus let's talk. Yeah, yeah, the United States that he needs
to intervene and help the Christians inLebanon. But anyways, okay, hey,
love you man, God bless youso great to hear from you.
Jesus. Jesus is coming back soon. Remember, stay filled to the Holy
Spirit. All right, love youbrother, Love you man. Man.
I want to say for you.I want to say just last thing.
(17:41):
Okay, I want to tell youand to everybody who will now is a
radio we as a Christian as theHoly Land said Christ trumped two thousand.
Yeah. Oh I think he justgot cut off. That sounds like a
phenomenally great point. But well ohyeah, I go okay, yeah,
hey, we need this apart fromjustice, not murder and the displacement,
(18:06):
and we remain steps foot and rooteduntil the day of resurrection. Yeah,
we do not fear this and martyrfor the sake of our face is the
savor of the Lord Jesus. Guys, That's what I'm gonna say the day.
Yeah, I'm not afraid, okay, Yeah, and we're praying for
(18:26):
you. Don't be afraid, okay, And I'll and I'll see you soon,
I promise, okay, Okay,Okay, God bless yeah, okay,
bye bye. And that was Nefand Lebanon this morning, in his
afternoon, yeah, him almost evening. Yeah, so again we want to
thank him and keep yeah, keepthem in prayer, absolutely sure. Yeah,
(18:47):
understand this war, you know.Yeah. Torn Well's coming up next
with Crazy About You and your CelebrationRadio Network eight hundred seven two one nine
three one three. That's eight hundredseven to one ninety three thirteen. That
is Jason Crab with God can Usea Broken Man at five minutes to the
top of the hour. My nameis Bill. The phone number again eight
hundred and seven to one nine threeone three. Just got a couple of
(19:11):
minutes here before the top of thehour. So we were having a conversation
with Naef, who actually lives inLebanon and in Beirut, and yeah,
and we were talking with him aboutLebanese Christians and and just what's happening in
the Middle East. And the headlinethat we had from CBN News a couple
(19:33):
of days ago was that the LebaneseChristians don't want a war with Israel.
Yeah, and we just heard thatfrom sand didn't we. Yeah, we
did it on the contrary. Andit's not just you know, we don't
want to go to war and we'reafraid. It's they want peace. They
want to be da right, whatyou know, they want it like it
used to be. Right. Yeah. Again, Lebanon is part of the
Holy Land, right, it's biblical, so yeah, I mean David got
(19:56):
his cedars from there, and yeah, he Solomon did. And that's when
I mean it's just Holy Temple, that's Holy Tempi with yeah, exactly,
so exactly. So there's a lotof history there. Yeah, I would
like to see and they and againthey did do it during the Civil War
back in nineteen seventy five to nineteenninety the eleven Civil War. But I
really would love to see Israel cooperatemore with the Christians in Lebanon. I'm
(20:19):
sure who's listening right now, soyou'll hear me, I'm sure, but
yeah, because they're ring tea right, Yeah, they're they're ready to fight
on the side of Israel to defeathas Blah. They would love to get
Iran outther countries, Palians, othercountry because it's the PLO who you know,
established themselves in Lebanon and have triedto take over the southern Lebanon there
(20:41):
where they stir up all kinds oftrouble, all kinds of trouble. Yeah,
and they're the ones who have beenfiring rockets. So there's been exactly
I was just reading that when we'reyou know, talking about this article.
There's rocket launches that have been almostdaily. I think I think there's been
like thirty thousand rockets fired from Imight have the number one fired from southern
Lebanon since the Gaza War started, and actually mostly I don't think you have
(21:03):
that number wrong. I think it'sthirty thousand rockets. Yeah, and into
northern Israel. Yeah, so ofcourse Israel is going to respond, but
all the expert doesn't take an expert, you know, right, But war
is imminent. I mean, there'sgoing to be another full on war between
Israel and has Block. The scarything is at some point all of this
is going to culminate in an openwar between Israel and the United States and
(21:25):
Iran. And by the way, that's armageddon. That's armageddon. Ye yeah,
I shouldn't wisp from there. That'sarmageddon. So this is the great
end times of war. It isalready well underway, has been for decades,
and it's heating up every day.So just keeping attention. All we're
doing with this current administration is addinggasoline to the fire, which is part
(21:47):
of the story that it is,you know, and it's I just I
don't understand the United States. Weare the feet of iron and clay.
So we're half righteous, half unrighteous, half strong, half weak, right,
and that is the end time story. So the big, the big
confusion question is hold it if allthis war is going on, wars and
rumors of wars, everything that Jesustalked about in Matthew twenty four, And
(22:07):
then isn't there like a there isgoing to be a little bit of peace.
Well three and a half years,Well, there will be a seven
year peace treaty. Sign now thatyou mentioned. That's good news right here
there you go. So there isgoing to be something who signs the peace
treaty. John, that that issuch a great point you're making, because
yeah, we're we're looking at,you know, the wars. Like Jesus
(22:29):
said, there will be wars andrumors of wars, but it's when we
see that peace treaty sign that's whenyou need to, you know, wake
up. The end is not near, it is here. Yes, So
yeah, good, good point,John, that's excellent. Yeah, so
everybody wants peace, right, whichis going to be the perfect opening for
the Antichrist to step out of theworld scene because he's going to bring peace,
but not a real peace. Butthat means that Jesus got a neverlasting
(22:52):
peace. And by the way, that this so we're talking what are we
talking about here, We're talking aboutsigns of the end, meaning signs that
Jesus is we're earning soon. Butwhat we're talking about here on this show,
this we talk about is the actualsigns that the Bible talks about.
So we're quoting scripture as we're justyou know, casually conversing here. Right.
So so just this week John getscredit for this because he said,
(23:15):
hey, you know during the break, he said, hey, not on
the next segment. Let's so,John, did anything happen this week where
people were, yeah, looking fora sign? Quite a few things.
Well, the big one, thebig one that everyone knows about is the
eclipse. And everybody's talking about thedarkness that went over you know, traveled
over the United States, Mexico andthe Canada. All right, you know,
(23:36):
other people think this is a sign. And then on top of that,
we also had an earthquake in astrange place that people aren't used to
in New Jersey, New Jersey,a really strange place. I've been there
a couple of times. New YorkCity. That's a strange place here there
you go. Because they're all they'reall looking at the Bible and they're all
saying, well, it says rightin here there's going to be you know,
earthquakes and strange places because there's neverbeen earthquakes before, and weird things,
(24:00):
yeah, and weird things you knowin the sky and all that.
So they're all taking those things andtwisting him around. But yeah, you
know, and you know what's embarrassingabout this is that is that think about
like the ancient civilizations, I mean, the Mayans whenever there was a total
eclipse they thought the same thing. So what they do, they'd like chop
off a bunch of people. Yeah, thousands of the pyramids down and you
(24:21):
know, and look at the bodyof Christity. I mean, and I
mean that's that's you know, horriblecomparison to make. But I mean think
about it. You know, justany sign that we can you know,
latch onto and and I apologize everybodylistening. I don't mean to criticize or
mock, but but you know, this last Monday, April eighth, that
was supposed to be the rapture becauseyou have a total eclipse going across the
(24:41):
United States. Not just that, but it actually crossed over I think a
dozen different towns called nineveh. Apparentlyevery state has to having I don't think
there's a Nineva Arizona. No,all these other states back east they have
the you know, every state hasthis you know town called Nineve. So
this was a you know, obvioussigns so of course just going to happen,
and it didn't happen. No,we all knew in this station right
(25:03):
you know, the studio right now, we knew it wasn't gonna happen because
because yeah, that's compelling and it'sinteresting, but that's not a sign that
the Bible talks about. So whenwill you know that? You know what
Jesus said about a generation that seeksa sign, like looking for any possible
sign. He said, that's awicked generation, didn't he say that?
Yeah, it's a wicked generation thatseeks a sign. So so so our
(25:26):
job is, believers, is todig into scripture, be filled with the
Holy Spirit. See what the Biblereally says. So we all know,
and here John brought it up.We're looking for a seven year peace treaty.
We're you know, we're looking forfor the actual war, this great
End Times war. We're looking forthe Third Temple to you know, be
rebuilt. And it's only after allof these things, the seven year great
(25:47):
tribulation, that the three and ahalf year reign of the Antichrist, that
Jesus himself says immediately after all ofthat, then I'll come back and then
I'll gather my you know, togethermy legs. So so kats out of
the bag. We in this studio, just the four right here, we're
up. We believe in a posttribulation rapture because it's just it's really really
clear in scripture. So yeah, yeah, see see how we squeeze that
(26:08):
end? Yes, yes, yeahthat eight hundred seven nine three one three.
That's one eight hundred seven to oneninety three thirteen more with the gang
coming up. Good morning, yourCelebration Radio Network. Good morning, Hey,
hello sir, how are you guystoday? Good doing good? Good
seven and flag staff? Yes,sir, how are you doing? Evan
(26:32):
full of here? Fantastic, Thankyou brother, It is wonderfully here truth
this morning. M hmm, Jesussaid immediately after the tribulation. Yes he
did, Matthew twenty four. Yep, you got it, yes, yes,
nine. Yes, he's telling hisguys they ask him. I shared
that good news with all my friendsand they just so upset. Yeah,
(26:53):
and I tell him, like mypast two stay, I didn't write the
book. Guys, you sound confused. You're like looking at this. You're
looking at the sun. How baddoes that sound? Yeah? I am
staring at the sun on Monday.Everyone's staring at the sun. But you
can't catch that one simple truth?Right? Yeah, see this pretty simple?
(27:19):
Yeah, so blessed brothers, thankyou for sharing the true. Oh,
you're very welcome. It's our privilegeEvan, and you have an incredible
day too, not only the fourin the studio one and the big suburban
there you go. So today, brother, it sounds like I miss a
great call. Here is Evan,Yes, yea, and sorry, I
(27:41):
was taking a bathroom break, RyanSteed. Ryan stepped in a little late
there. I just yeah, butI but the last part sounded great.
So yeah, bless you man.Yeah, Ren collective with Hallelujah anyway on
your celebration radio network. We're almosttwenty minutes after the hour. This is
build a phone number again, eighthundred seven two one nine three one three
(28:02):
eight hundred seven to one ninety threethirteen. It was great to hear from
Evan and flag Staff and the conversationthat we also had with Neef in the
last hour was just an eye opener. I'm sure for a lot of people
wondering, you know, why isthis happening or maybe do they actually believe
(28:22):
we'll get the perception you know, all of that you're thinking true, you
know, you're thinking Iran and theHesbalah and the site Muslims and all of
that is there, but we forgetthat it's also a Christian nation, right,
Yeah, you know, mostly Christian, I should say, yeah,
I mean, I mean they saythirty seven percent, but it's a smaller
(28:45):
percentage of Sunni Muslim and then youknow Shei Muslim, so right, so
that's really a Christian majority, youknow. Yeah, and we don't think
you really don't think of that whenyou think of the Middle East, you
know, it's yeah, and again, I just hope that Israel is thinking
of it the way that we're sayingright now. Yeah, right, understanding
that you're not you know, they'renot at war and they know they're not
at war with Lebanon, their warwith Iran, right, it happens to
(29:07):
be exploiting you know, southern Lebanonright now. So yeah, exactly,
but we need to know this,Yeah, yeah, we definitely. So
how can you know, super wecan pray and you know, think of
these things as well. It's notjust you know, the Jews against everyone
else. There's you know, peoplethere that support them absolutely, not only
(29:30):
in the area, but here inAmerica and else you know, elsewhere around
the world. So absolutely, yeah, Israel does have friends, and yeah
they did a lot a lot ofenemies. But yes, great great war.
That's yeah, that's all that's wasall prophesied thousands of years ago.
Yes, this is exactly you knowwhere we are today. We're going to
get into a little bit of thathere with you know. Yeah, we
(29:52):
should seven twenties. Should we actuallydo something like by my study and stuff.
Yeah, that'd be great. Yeah. Ezekiel thirty seven. Yeah,
And I believe Terry has some scripturesfor us this morning. I do.
This is Ezekiel thirty seven, twentyone through twenty eight, and my vision
is the ESV English gender version. Then say to them, thus says the
(30:14):
Lord God. Behold, I willtake the people of Israel from the nations
among which they have gone, andwill gather them from all around and bring
them to their own land. AndI will make them one nation in the
land on the mountains of Israel, and one king shall be king over them
all. And they shall be nolonger two nations, and no longer divided
into two kingdoms. They shall notdefile themselves anymore with their idols and their
(30:38):
detestful things, or with any oftheir transgressions. But it will save them
from all the backslidings in which theyhave sinned, and will cleanse them.
And they shall be my people, and I will be their god. My
servant David shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd.
They shall walk in my roles andbe careful to obey my statutes.
(30:59):
They shall well in the land thatI gave to my servant Jacob, where
your fathers lived. They and theirchildren and their children's children shall dwell there
forever, and David, my servant, shall be their prince forever. I
will make a covenant of peace withthem. It shall be an everlasting covenant
with them. And I will setthem in their land and multiply them,
and will set my sanctuary in theirmist forevermore. My dwelling place shall be
(31:22):
with them, and I will betheir God, and they shall be my
people. Then the nations will knowthat I am the Lord who sanctifies Israel,
when my sanctuary is in their mistforevermore. Okay, excellent, Yeah,
good job reading to Yeah, thankyou. So so a big question.
Yeah has that happened yet? Idon't know, has it? You
tell me what do you think? So this is a this is a prophecy
(31:44):
that God was giving to the prophetis Egiel, and this is back during
you know, the time of theBabylonian captivity, right right, So so
you know during this time there thereis no temple, right right, And
yet and there isn't today. Youknow, there was, you know,
the temple was rebuilt, but thenit is destroyed again and in you know,
shortly after Jesus time. Right. But but this prophecy very very good,
(32:06):
yeah, by the Romans. Sobut so it's been almost two thousand
years now since there was a templestanding in Jerusalem, and yet this prophecy
talks about a not just a temple. God says my sanctuary, he says
my tabernacle. These are other termsfor the temple. But he said that
it will it will be in themidst of Israel forever. And so yes,
(32:27):
exactly because the two previous temples theyweren't in the midst of Israel forever.
They no longer exist, right. So so this is eschatological that's talking
about the future and the reason we'relooking at this and this is very much
in line with like our conversation withNaif, and we're talking about the great
end times, wars is upon usright now, right that that that God
has a plan, an eternal planfor not just Christians, but for the
(32:52):
nation of Israel, for the Jewishpeople, because that's what God says scribed
him. In fact, this propseven says, it says they shall no
longer be two nations, but Godwill make them one nation. What's that
referring to? Do you guys rememberkind of a trick question. This is
college level stuff. So do youremember that Israel shortly after the two nations?
That's what I met. That's that'sit. The Northern Kingdom of Israel,
(33:15):
that was the ten tribes who becamethe ten Lost Tribes, right,
So so and that was, youknow, way back in seven twenty two
BC, so we're talking, youknow, over two and a half millennia,
the entire Northern Kingdom, ten ofthe twelve tribes just disappeared into history.
But this prophecy says, no,They're going to come back and and
(33:36):
God's going to bring all twelve tribesback together again, Northern Kingdom of Israel,
Southern Kingdom of Judah, and they'lland they'll dwell in the land forever.
And then there's also one more detailthat we want to point out here
that's just so compelling because it explains, you know, well, how you
know you know, how come God? You know, how can God have
an eternal relationship and ultimate destiny forthe Jews when you know, two thousand
(33:57):
years ago they were jeted Jesus.I'm talking about the jew who as a
nation, right, the group, they were jeted Jesus, and and they
you know, they didn't recognize theirtheir messiah when he came. Right.
But but this prophecy says one kingshall be king over them all, and
then we even get the name ofthe king. Verse twenty four is Eco
three seven David, my servants shallbe king over them. They shall have
one shepherd, so and then andthen verse twenty five says it again,
(34:22):
and my servant David shall be theirprince for evermore. But David was already
gone. So they're talking about Jesus, that's what they're talking about. So
so Jesus was this is one ofhis his main you know monikers, was
you know, the son of DavidDavid. Yeah, so that that's what
this is a prophecy. It's notDavid, but it's someone who was in
David's line. And the Jews sincesince you know, the day of this
(34:43):
prophecy, have understood that that's notliterally referring to you know, King David
of Old you know he's coming back. I mean just like all the other
you know, Old Testament saying it'sNew Testament, but that this is talking
about the Messiah. It's a it'sa messianic prophecy. Is God's word true?
Is there is there one prophecy inthe entire Bible that either has not
already come true or or will noteventually come true. The answer is no.
(35:07):
Every prophecy in God's word is true, will be true, will come
true, including this one, whichis God's ultimate plan of destiny for the
Jewish people. This is talking aboutold Covenant Jews that you don't try to
plug in, you know, plugChristians into this. That's called replacement theology.
Yeah, that's a lie. God. God has God very much.
(35:28):
And in fact, we have somescripture coming up just briefly laying verse twenty
seven. My dwelling place shall bewith them, and I will be their
God, and they shall be mypeople. If you're not one of God's
people, if you don't know God, give us a call. When eight
hundred seventy to one nine three onethree would love to talk to you about
getting to know God is your savior. Yes, amen, Yeah, yeah,
(35:51):
So you may not be Jewish likea member of the Old Covenant,
but you can be a member ofthe New Covenant. Yes, easily,
super easily. Just give us acall eight hundred and seven to one nine
three one three Again that number iseight hundred and seven two one ninety three
thirteen Big Daddy Weave and all thingsNew coming up next on your Celebration Radio
Network. Man on the middle Crossthat is rat Walker on your Celebration or
(36:14):
Radio Network. We're at twenty minutesto the top of the hour. This
bill. That phone number again, eight hundred and seven two one nine three
one three. Pastor Ryan, Johnand Terry are in the studio this morning
with us, and we've been talkingabout Ezekiel and and now we're going into
Daniel. Yeah. Yeah, Sowe talked about Ezekiel, We talked about
(36:35):
the two Nations. We talked aboutthe tribes and how they've been disbanded and
they're all going to come back togetheragain when we're off the air. I
kind of mentioned a little bit hereto these guys that I kind of looked
at it as the two nations willbe one. I kind of looked at
it as the nations of you havethe Christians, the people are under the
New Covenant, and then you havethe Jewish or the Hebrew remnant that's under
(36:55):
the Old Covenant. And I lookedat it as well, this could be
more of a spiritual You have thetwo different nations, We're all going to
become one under one shepherd, whichis David, which is of course we
know as the Messiah is Jesus Christ. Exactly. Wow. Yeah, so
yeah, literally never occurred to me. So five cold stars for John for
that. No, No, we'rereally good inside. And yeah. So
(37:15):
so you know, prophecy does havethat it has multiple layers of meaning.
And I said, off the air, not interpretation, that's not what I
mean. I mean literal meaning.And I like that. I think you're
right. I think that there's thatgoing on too, that there's a there's
a spiritual application. So the originalnation of Israel and the new nation,
right which is which is us.We're also called the Chosen, called us
(37:39):
to you know, grafted into thevine. You know, the Christians are
so yeah, we became part ofthat nation when when we become Christians.
The Jews are the original Chosen people, and then we're the new Chosen People,
New Covenant. And that is theplan is that ultimately the two of
us will come together as one veryvery good, one body of Christ,
(38:01):
one one bride of Christ. That'sit. You know, this makes such
a critically important point. And Terry, you know, at the end of
the last segment, she she invitedpeople listening, Hey, if you if
you don't know, you know,Jesus says, you'r as your Lord and
Savior, your Messiah, you know, give us a call. We'll lead
you in the per salvation. Butbut that that is, that is you
(38:21):
know, God's plan, you know, Old Covenant, New Covenant. Yeah,
but the those of the Old Covenant, the Jews, we want to
make that point that we're not sayinghere that they are saved by virtue of
the Old Covenant. They're not.But the plan is that one day they
will all end Man as a nation, as a people, step from the
Old Covenant into the New Covenant byaccepting, proclaiming, recognizing Jesus Yesua as
(38:45):
their Lord, Savior, King, and Messiah. Jesus said, there's only
one way to the Father, andthat's through him. Yeah, that's it.
That's it. That's true for us, and that's true for the Jews,
the Jews people also, Yeah, because that's who he was talking to
when he said it. I didn'tcome for the Gentiles. I came from
the Jews. But because alls I'mhere, Yeah, guys can join too,
(39:05):
you know, I mean, Imean, don't take that for granted.
Yeah, oh definitely, Oh mygosh, thank you Jesus, thank
you Lord. Yeah. So whata blessing that is for us that are
not born of the Jewish nations.Yeah, and that was God's promise to
Abraham through all nations will be blessed. So he established me, you know,
that that original nation, through Abraham, that the Messiah would come through.
But once the Messiah came, thenthen the Kingdom would open up to
(39:28):
all nations. Right, So justagain, we don't take that for granted.
That is the greatest unearned, unmeritedgift. Yep. That's why they
call it good news. Yeah, yes, so yeah, that so we
were jumping into Daniel. Now goingalong with this, we're looking at Daniel
nine, verse twenty four. I'mlooking at the new King James version here,
(39:51):
and this is the dreaded seventy weekswe all try to get our heads
around the seventy weeks. So yeah, so this starts off with seventy weeks
are determined for your people and foryour holy city, to finish the transgression,
to make an end of sins,to make reconciliation for iniquity, to
bring in everlasting righteousness, to sealup vision and prophecy, and to anoint
(40:12):
the most holy. Oh boy, that's been fulfilled. Not no, that's
just not even close. Like literally, none of what we just read has
been fulfilled. Not because because whois God? And by the way,
the seventy weeks prophecy is actually fourverses Daniel Chapter nine, verses twenty four
through twenty seven, But the wholething is summarized the entire seventy weeks in
this one verse. But who isit that the archangel Gabriel who's delivering this
(40:37):
prophecy to Daniel? Who's he talkingto here? I just said it,
he's talking to Daniel. So whatdoes Gabriel mean when he says to Daniel,
your people in your holy city.Well, he's talking to the Jews.
It's the Jews specific factory. Infact, Christians didn't exist yet.
This was in the year. Youknow, this is in the sixth century
BC, you know, half amillennium before Jesus even born. So he's
(41:00):
talking about the Jews, the nationof Israel, and he says your holy
city, that's that's Jerusalem. Right. But but you see how the first
thing he says there is to finishthe transgression. Yeah. And you may
not remember, but in the passagethat we read from Ezekiel in the last
segment, it actually mentioned that thatthe transgressions would come to an end for
the nation of Israel specifically, right, and and again, has that happened
(41:22):
yet? I mean, the mostreligious just you know, you know serious,
you know, full Orthodox rabbi wouldnever claim that. Okay, so
the Jews would not claim that there'sbeen an end to the two transgressions to
this morning. Yeah, but youdid not, Terry, well she did
(41:43):
just now she just lost, yes, either way, I guess. Yeah.
But but my point is that thateven the most full Orthodox user,
who are just as observant as humanlypossible, they know that that they cannot
keep the law perfectly and they admitthat, you know, openly. So
so this has not happened yet, right, Yeah, but you know,
(42:04):
seventy weeks. So what is thatreferring to, because that can be a
little bit confusing. Seventy sevens ofsomething, Yeah, doesn't it in the
in the years? Yeah, becausein the original Hebrew it doesn't actually say
weeks. It says seventy seven,so it's some kind of a unit of
seven. Well, it doesn't meanseventy periods of seven years, So what's
seventy times seven? Quick? Fourhundred and ninety. So this is a
(42:27):
probasly that takes place of the courseof four hundred and ninety years, but
it's non contiguous. So here's whatI mean, the first sixty nine years,
and by the way of the years, here are three hundred and sixty
days. It's not even actual years, it's three hundred. It's called what's
called a prophetic year. So thefirst sixty nine years, first one hundred
and seventy three thousand, eight hundredand eighty days. Yes, Oh my
(42:47):
goodness, I just did that inmy head. No, not really.
God was fulfilled when Jesus actually metwith Moses and Leija on the transfiguration,
right, so that was that was, you know, four hundred and eighty
three years after this prophecy began tobe fulfilled. Okay, I'm so attempted
to get more complicated with this arontof time because like a minute left here
(43:10):
on this segment. But but thereis a gap. And a lot of
people have trouble with the gap,and they say, well, there can't
be a gap. Well, Jesushimself established the principle of the gap in
Luke chapter four when he win inthe synagogue and he opened the scroll of
Isaiah Isaiah when we call Isaiah chaptersixty one, and he started to read
the prophecy from Isaiah, and hesaid, you know this, you know
(43:31):
to you know, to preach thegospel to the poor, to proclaim these
sepe of year the Lord right, and then he closed the scroll and sat
down, long before he was finishedreading the whole prophecy. That's why everybody
in the synagogue suddenly all the riseof upon him, like what's going on?
You know, while he closed thescroll, he wasn't done, because
he was establishing this principle that athis first coming he fulfilled a little bit
(43:52):
of that prophecy, and most ofthat prophecy, which has to do with
like subjugating the whole planet under theman of this rule of God's kingdom that
has not happened yet, that's afuture event. That's the last week.
And how does this whole prophecy end? What happens at the very end of
those last seven years, which wecall, by the way, the great
(44:12):
Great Tribulation, that's in our nearfuture. But according to Gabriel, what
happens at the very last moment ofthat last final week? What's the last
line in Daniel nine twenty four.Who wants to read that? And to
and to anoint the Most Holy?Yes, there you go. What does
that mean? Terry? What doyou think? And to anoint the most
(44:36):
Holy? You know, I'm cluelessright now, Bill, what do you
think? To anoint the most HolyJesus in the in the temple? That's
what that's what's going to to Finally, Yeah, Terry, can I say
Terry's fighting aller Jesus morning. Yeah, yeah, yeah, So pray for
pray for Terry, pray for allof us aller Jesus here. But yes,
that's what it's saying, is thatat the at the very end of
(44:59):
the seven year Great Tribulation, thatthe Jews as a nation will at last
recognize their true Mishiaki Messiah, whichis Jesus. Yes you were, so
they can't be saved apart from Jesus, and they're not. But the Bible
promises old this is Old Testament.Later we'll look at something in the New
Testament that confirms us that at thevery very end, when Jesus comes back
(45:20):
the Second Coming, then the Jewsas a nation will say, my gosh,
this was our King, Savior,Lordaki Messiah all along. So that's
the promise. It is, Ibelieve it. Yep. One seventy two,
one ninety three one three. Tyrianup next with honestly we just need
