know that the devastation their death toll, the last number I heard was one
hundred and eleven I believe I sawthis morning, and there is one.
We need to also not only prayfor the families that are being affected by
this, but the rescue dogs andthe cadaver dogs and the animals that they're
using, because I heard a reportthat they're cutting their feet on glass,

you know, and so they hadtheir getting exhausted, so they're having to
bring in more and yeah, soit's not just the people that are searching,
but also the animals that they're using. We want to pray for that
as well for wisdom. But Ifound this article on CBN yesterday and it
says nearly a week after the devastatingMaui fires, the relief effort is in

full swing. Churches and numerous humanitarianaid groups, including CBN's Operation Blessing.
You have Samaritans, Purse, theRed Cross. I mean, the list
goes on and on and on andalong with volunteers, and they're using their
own boats to very supplies, theirsailboats, their power boats, you know,

whatever they can use. And Isaw this line of people from the
beach and to the boat carrying thisstuff off and getting it in there.
So one sign of hope is theU Maria. I'm not gonna try to
pronounce. The Catholic church in LaHana was built in eighteen forty six and

it survived untouched by the blame.And the video I was watching showed devastation
completely around it, but the groundsand the church itself were untouched. And
every house that was around this churchwas destroyed. Palm trees, grass i
mean everything. I know that oneof our the organized Asian that I go

or that I belong to, theUnited Pentecostal Church. Our church wasn't damaged
either. Greg Glory's churchesn't damaged,but he was nine miles outside of La
Hana. So but it's just it'samazing to see. And the pastor of
the Harvest Church in Maui had oversix hundred people at his church on Sunday.

Wow wow, I mean yeah,So they're really excited about souls being
you know, one, and andbeing able to help those that are in
need. And I know that,uh, you know, there's not really
a whole lot to be thrilled whenyou can when you think about you know,

loss of life and everything. Butwe're talking eternity here, We're talking
souls and that should get us excitedabout. Eternal impact is why we're on
this planet. It's not to buildwealth, it's not to have homes,
it's not to you know, evenhave a family. It's eternal impact.
Our desire should be as a Christianto impact lives for eternity. Not one

way of doing that is obviously havea family, you know, and raise
your children that way. But anotherway, like Paul, go out and
tell people like Peter, you know, like James John, Jesus did you
know? That is our goal andthat should be our desire as a Christian
to share the gospel, to sharethe good news. This happens, and

it's so horrible in traumatic it is, but we have the opportunity to share
Jesus with them through the hardest timein their life. Things like this makes
makes people more open. It does, and that's what one of the pastor
of the Harvest Chapel or Harvest Churchsaid, you know, he said that
I saw it on Sunday. Wehad an incredible service. We had over

six hundred people show up, andthat's without telling anybody. There was no
cell service around here all the theyhad. That was another issue that they
were trying to get emergency alerts outright. The actual sound, the horns
and stuff like that weren't working becauseof the power. So they tried using

cell phones that didn't work TV tolet people know that this was happening.
And that's why a lot of peopledied in their homes because they had no
idea it was coming. So,you know, our God is the good
God or a good God of hopeand he is a healer in this place
needs that more now than anything.So Congregates of Harvest uh Kuma laney kumam

kum on MAUI. You know there'sother places as well, like like I
said, Samaritans Perse Youth with aMission. They're helping Operation Blessing You Whammy.
They joined the aid as well forfire victims and water purifying machines.

You know, there's so many thingsthat they're trying to do and it is,
you know, good to see thatpeople. You know, humanity still
has humanity, yes, but thebest thing we could do is for them
as us in the in the mainland, as they say, pray and if

you're able, donate to one ofthe groups that are helping it with aid
like Red Cross or Samaritan's Purse oryou know any of the others. Even
Harvest Chapel, Great Glories and Organizationis working there and others as well.
So yeah, so it's kind ofI guess that's silver lining, yes,

around a really dark cloud. Sowell, they're always is when God's involved
in Yeah. Yeah, it's darkas things get it is there. Yeah,
if you haven't seen any of thevideos of people actually jumping into the
ocean to get away from the flames. I mean, that'll tell y'all that
went there. I've seen those videos, y Yeah, yeah, I've seen
a couple of those. It wasactually a whole article I saw was one

girl gave her a story about goingjumping in the waters trying to get away
from escape the smoke and flames.I mean, there was no other way
to get get away from it,right. So yeah, man, it's
pretty amazing what you know, asthey say, mother Nature, yeah we
can, you can do what youknow, it's what's the other one?
What Satan meant for you? OldGod uses for good? Yeah, same

thing. Yeah, that's absolutely AndI'll bring a lot of people to salvation
more than likely, because that's usuallyhow God works these things. Yeah,
as people get to the lowest stateand then they finally realize that they need
they need God, and we'll turnback. Yeah. And I think that's
why they saw over six hundred peopleat Harvard something. Yeah, I'm sure

last show two weeks ago, webriefly introduced our current subtopic, which is

which is the argument of a thiefin the night case, A very very
famous term. This is probably thenumber one most favorite argument in favor of
a pre tribulation rapture, and andit's it's not so much that as it
is a critique of the idea ofa post tribulation rapture, which is people
should know. That's what that's whatthis our team here bleeds and teaches,

because the idea is that, youknow, hey, if Jeez comes back
as the Thief of the Ninth,then then his return as imminent. It
can happened in any moment. We'reall going to be completely surprised, you
know when he shows up. Soso last Sunday, I got a I
got CBN's news letter. I thinkwe all get that right. And one
of the articles is about a newbook by Ann Graham Lotts and her daughter.

So Ann Graham Lotts is Billy Graham, one of Billy Graham's daughter's right,
So you know, these are theseare big name, you know,
people in the Body of Christ,which is great. Their new book is
Preparing to Meet Jesus, a twentyone day challenge to move from salve Asian
transformation. Right in the article andas quoted as saying again and again,
the Bible tells us that Jesus willcome suddenly quickly like a thief in the

night, and that his followers needto be prepared to meet him at any
moment. So this is this isthe argument. It sounds great, it
sounds right. You said, weneed to go some music, and when
we come back, let's look atwhat Jesus actually said about a thief in
the night and if it means whatmost teachers today are teaching, which is
what we just read that from,you know an right, uh, that

that Jesus coming back to the deepof the night, that means that we
as his bride, his followers,that we need to be prepared to meet
him at any moment. It's youknow, he's just going to show up
here, yea. And of courseall this before the great tribulation, the
ring of the Ni Christ. Sowe'll take a look, all right,

are very confidently teaching pre tribulation,rapture, you know, body of Christ.
You know, this is great news. This our blessed hope Jesus coming
into any second, and he's goingto take us all out of here.
Don't worry, you won't be herewith a great Listen. We got to
get this right. People got toget this. So Thief of the Night,

let's see what Jesus actually actually saidand what the Word actually says about
this concept of a thief of thenight. So, Terry, I'm assuming
you're on the slide. How aboutif you remind us what Jesus said.
So that's Matthew chapter twenty four,the all of a Discourse Versus forty two
through forty four. Wat's therefore,for you do not know what hour your
lord is coming. But know thisthat if semester of the house had known

what hour the thief would come,he would have watched, not allowed his
house to be broken into. Therefore, you also be ready for the son
of Man is coming at an houryou do not expect. Okay, So
there it is, and I meanit seems very clear cut. You know,
Jesus is saying I'm coming back asa thief of the night. This
is precisely where we get the conceptright. But does it really mean what

it sounds like he's saying. They'renot. People are gonna get mad when
they're listening on the air on toour podcast, you know, yeah,
obviously you know Jesus said it.Well, Jesus didn't finish there. He
had a few more things to sayabout this concept of the of the thief
the night before we go there,just looking at just this one, you
know, or this one little pastorsthat we just read. So Jesus says,
but know this that if the masterof the house had known what hour

the thief would come, he wouldnot he would have watched and not allowed
his house to be broken into.So so we can let's start without what
does Jesus mean the master of thehouse. It's a weird way of saying
if the bride of if the bridehad known when the groom was coming,
she would you know, whatever hesays, the master of the house.
So so what's the house on thisparable because we're talking about the second coming
of Christ? So what is thehouse that would be the thief is coming

(22:04):
to? No, the house isthe world? Oh the world? Okay,
right, so Jesus coming gone tothis world and and you know he's
coming as a thief in the night. The world's not going to be expecting
him, right, So, andand who was the master would be safe?
Yeah? So so Terry, youjust read, I know, but
you just you got it first,So go and read uh set that next

passage or second second Corinthians, chapterfour, Versus three and four of the
apostle Paul. If the good newsI'm sorry, I can't really read this
we preach is hidden to anyone.It is hidden from the one who was
on the road to eternal death.Satan, who is the god of this
evil world, has made him blind, unable to see the glorious light of

the Gospel that is shining upon him, or to understand the amazing message we
preach about the glory of Christ,who is God. Okay, So kind
of a long passage there for thepoint we want to we want to,
you know, pull out here.But but the beginning of verse four that
I have highlighted in blue there again, Terry, what does that say?
Satan, who is the god ofthis evil world? Okay? So when

Jesus said that he's coming back asa thief, if the master of the
house had known one time he wascoming, he would lock the house up,
not allowed a minute. Who's themaster of the house. That's Satan.
Okay. So right off the batwe get this, this, this
this notion from Jesus that when hesays I'm coming back as a thief of
the night, it's so someone inparticular is not prepared. They're surprised,

they're caught off guard. Oh mygosh right, and who was that in
this little you know parable if wewant to call that, it's Satan,
it's the god of this world.Okay, So so that gives a hint,
right there, So again, Matthew, chapter twenty four, verses forty
two through forty four, I'm comingas a thief of the night. Right.
He didn't stop there. He's gota couple other points to make about

this. I'm talking about Jesus inhis great in Time's dissertation. So so,

coming back. Servants and the evilservants love this part of the Yeah,

of Jesus's dissertation. It's interest Andyou gotta you can't just read through we
have you have to stop and thinkabout it. What is Jesus actually saying?
You know? Get that? Sohe is coming back, and it
is as he is coming back asthe thief in the night. That does
not mean for us that it's imminentthat it could be at any minute that
we won't that we won't be expectinghim. Okay, So this is what

we're kind of proving out here,So and again this is this is arguably
I think it is the number oneargument against what we believe in teach,
which is a post tribulation rapture.Because if he's coming back to the thief
the night, he just returns imminent, it could be any minute, then
it can't be post trip because wewould be expecting it. Then why would
he be expecting I don't know,seven years of great tribulation, three and

a half years of the Ni Christruling in reigning. Right, but check
this out, okay? So Jesussays, that's okay, So we all
have a discourse great in time's tsrotationMatthew, Chapter twenty four, Thief in
the Night you know Versus forty twothrough forty four, where Jesus establishes that
concept the very next verse, right, John God, and pick up in
verse forty five. These who thenis a faith one wise servant whom his

(26:29):
master made rule over his household togive them food and due season blessed is
a servant who is master. Whenhe comes will find doing as surely I
say to you, that he willmake him rule over all his goods.
Now here's the point herabody, payattention please at eight verse forty eight.
But if that evil servant says inhis heart, my master's delaying his coming,

(26:53):
and begins to beat his fellow servantsand to eat and drink with the
drunkards, the master or of thatservant will come on a day when he
is not looking for him, andat an hour that he is not aware
of, and we'll cut him,yes, that's it, and will cut
him in two and appoint him hisportion with the hypocrites. There shall be

weeping and gnashing of teeth. Okay, this is bad. This is like
really really really serious. Whenever yousee weeping and nashing of teeth, that's
that's not a good thing. Andand who's it talking about here? It's
talking about Christians because it's saying thatthat there they are servants of the Master.
They're waiting for his return, butthey get impatient because he's not coming.

He didn't come back when they expected. Think about this, now,
he didn't come back when they expected. Okay, now let me ask you,
guys, how many Christians do youknow who today are just being jerks
and they're terrible and they're not beinggood Christians because Jesus has taken too long
to come back, and you know, it's been two thousand years and where
I don't know about you guys.I'm turning fifty six and a couple of
weeks here while and I've never thereright now, I know you're you're our

elder here. We respect Jesu sobut but yeah, fifty six years on
this earth and I've never met aChristian who who who? This describes every
Christian I know, pre trib posteror whatever are excited, you know,
Jesus coming back, you know,especially the pre tribulation rapture doctrine. Right,
it could be any minute he's comingback. So I don't understand what

(28:22):
Jesus talking about her? Who's hedescribing? Think about this? They're think
about Christian servants. Jesus calls himthem here that that are expecting him at
a certain time, and he doesn'tcome at that time, and the world
goes down the toilet and and everyand just catastrophic. Like the thing in
Maui. That was nothing, youknow, compared to what's coming, right,
It's going to be worldwide. Andthen this guy we call the anti

Christ shows up in severe persecution ofChristians and Jews too, And and where
is Jesus? You know, hewas supposed to come back, you know,
at the beginning of all this,and he didn't come back. And
you know what Jesus says, herehe right? Think about that, right,
my master, he's delaying. It'scoming. He didn't come when I
wanted him to, when I wastold. Yeah, I was raised my
whole life, all the all thebest evangelist, all my favorites, all

my favorite teachers. They're amazing.They get they get millions of people saved,
and they and they promised me thathe would come back before all this
crazy stuff started. He didn't comeback. You know, where is he?
Right? This is all very biblical. You know what I'm saying right
now, it's hard words. Iknow, this is this is harsh,
maybe making some people mad, youknow, listen, just trying to get
the truth out there, right.You know what this reminds me of is

(29:27):
Moses going up to Mount Sinai.Yeah, and the expected him to come
back and he was he was delayed. Yeah, that's excellent. And that's
exactly what they did. They startedreaching for something else that was and this
was after God delivered them from Egyptand they knew God, and they said,
Okay, we're gonna make it thisafter the rock, the water out
of the rock, yeah, theRed Sea, Yeah, all the miracles

quail. You know, Terry,my gosh, ten Gold starts that I'm
stealing that. You said, that'san excellent connection. This is human nature,
no matter how and and every belief, every Christian listening to our voice
says, right now, you arepositive that you're not that person that you
could never get mad, you couldnever you know, uh, you know,
just kind of give up and throwyour arms up in the air.

thief in the night. Right.We all quote that, yeah, mine,
but it says right here, Jesussays for the evil servant, he

will come at a time, inan hour, in a day. You
don't expect That's what he's literally says. He says, but the master of
that servant, that evil servant,who he didn't come back in time right
when he said, will come ona day when he's not looking at an
hour he's not aware of because thatperson's given up, right, So so
he Jesus comes back as a thiefin the night. And he says,

but not for the righteous servant,not for the servants who who you know,
aren't you know, putting putting demandsand expectations on you know, when
I'm supposed to come back. Butit's you know, when I say I'm
going to come back, and hesays it, you know, a few
verses earlier, you know verse afterthose days, then I'll come and I'll
send my angels to gather my electfrom the from one inniverse to the other.

Right so, and you know there'seven more so this this should be
huge to people. Listen, whatis okay just come back to the night.
Only if you're an evil servant,only if you're expecting him wrongly,
you want him to come back soonerthan he's saying he's actually going to come
back. Don't get it up andstart celebrating that golden calf. Keep the

Yeah, we're starting, we're startingto set to ement. So listen,
God sends his angel to put aseal of protection upon the foreheads of
all of his people before the sevenyear of great Tribulation begins. During that
time we're protect from his wrath.But but nowhere in the Bible does a
promise us that we are exempt fromtribulation. Well, how about Tan four
thousands in the direct relation, that'sa symbolic number. It's one hundred the

Christians before he comes. But tosea if you well, if you read,
if you read about the one hundredand forty four thousand in Revelation chapter
fourteen, there's five specific qualities orcharacteristics that John ascribes to them, and
you can cross reference each one ofthose two Paul's letters in the New Testament.

It's describing the body of Christ.And that's a that's a slight exaggeration
because actually the hundred and forty fourthousand is Jews and Christians both. But
we get the Jewish aspect in Revelationchapter seven. Tribulation is a day of
the gentiles the Jews. Yeah,the Bible, well, I yea,
not to disagree with you, butthe Bible does not say that. It
doesn't say that that when the lastgentile is is gone, then God begins

a great relation. It says.It says that when the time of the
gentiles is completed and the fullness ofthe gentiles has come in is the way
that it puts it. That meansthat once God is satisfied that as many
gentiles are going to come into theKingdom of God have come in, then
the great tribulation can begin. Okay, because it just kind of yes when
I said, I don't ever nonowhere around, no news guy, myself

isolated, but for years even withmy family and has always been, you
know how I was born different.But that's how I thought it is that
the Lord's going to Uh. Iheard that that they're supposed to be male
Jews, twelve thousands of each tribe, you know, walking and during trie
relation. Yeah, it's it's that'sa that's an oversimplification. One hundred and
forty four thousand system is a symbolicnumber twelve times twelve times a thousand and

one literally still well, you know, most most teachers they teach a post
tribulation rapture. So everything that you'resaying, you've been taught that because that
supports that view. It's not whatthe Bible actually says. I wish it
was true. I have a fourteenyear old daughter. I don't want her
going through that time that's coming.But if that's what we're pointed to,
you know, well enough right now, you know, and if my health

problems, you know, if wego through that, you know, I'm
thinking, you know, and there'sno not causing problems. I'm gonna be
one of the first ones on thelist one I'll be able to put the
sweep because they're not going to dealwith my deal problems, you know.

It's I don't think it's it's notgoing to be a convenient time for any
of us. I don't want togo through it. Well, I know,
I mean I kind of DoD it's. It's it's going to be an

it's the last, last, last, last month or later, the two
relations age going to come because thatthey're two close to the Second Coming.

Bible does it separate the Second Comingfrom the rapture. They're always depicted together.

that term, right, is youknow, catastrophe like we like human kinds
have never experienced since the Great Flood. And then all of a sudden,

this guy shows up and and everything'sgonna be okay. Now we're going to
get the coming back to normal andbelievers who just were convinced, oh my
gosh, Jeeves was spost to comeback before all this, this can't be
the ni Christ. This can't bethe Great Tribulation, or if it is,
you know Jesus didn't keep his promise. God didn't keep his promise.
Jesus didn't come back. I haveto do what I have to do to
survive. And again this is biblical, Paul tells us. In knowing certain

terms, a whole bunch of Christiansare going to end up falling away.
Yeah, and everybody listening says,that can't be me. We've got to
know the truth. This is whywe have the Bible so that we know
the truth. Can't we can't justyou know, I'll just trust God.
I'm pan trip. Everything will panout in the end. It's not what
the Bible says. Everything will notpan out in the end. A bunch
of people are going to forfeit theirsalvation if they don't get this right.

We'll have to look at that scriptureagain soon. But in the meantime,

the evil servant you know in theMaster are not coming like you were just
saying, not coming back when hethought he was coming back and what he

gives a parable of the ten virgins. And I'm sorry, but if you're
called part of the bridegroom, youknow you're you're part of the church,

is getting to heaven and spending eternitywith with Jesus. And so if five
of those ten can let their oilrun out, we're talking the bride of

These are Christians, Yeah, exactly, and thinking about that too.
Bill. It's not just people whohave said the part of salvation. It's
it's people who have oil in theirlands meeting to receive the gift of the

Holy Spirit. Right, They've they'vebeen filled with the Holy Spirit, but
started out that way, they letit go down. They got a lack

about anything. Jesus is going tocome back. It takes all out of

because he was saying, yeah,in that like the seventh you know Church

something scary. You think about this, the parable of the ten Virgins.
You know what it says. Jesussays that when the bridegroom comes, he
found them all sleeping. So itwasn't just the five who would let their
oil go down, but every singleone of the every single one of us,

I don't want to admit that.I don't want to own that, but
it's what Jesus said. He foundthem all sleeping. So in some way
or another, all of us arenot completely prepared, quite prepared. We
need to be as prepared as wepossibly can. Yeah. One way is,
yeah, you got to keep yourlamp fold man. Every day,
Holy Spirit filled me. When then, Father God, thank you for the

gift of the Holy Spirit. Fillthis lamp to foley. Let your light
shine brightly through me, you know, Holy Spirit? Right every day?
Yeah, you know, perfection Mondaythrough Friday with that prayer of you know,
let your light shine through us intothis dark world, because we need
to be that beacon to to showyou know, Christ called us a city

on a hill that cannot be hid. You know, we're not to put
our lamp under a bushel, youknow, We're supposed to let it shine
in on every single mountaintop that we'reon. It's like a fair and calls
him like a lighthouse. It's ait's a lamp. It's a beacon of
hope that is shining out into thedarkness, you know. And I've been
on some of the mountains with himat night, you know, looking out

and you can see the highways andthe stream of lights that are coming towards
the mountain, you know, orall of the homes in the cities,
and you know, and just thoselights that are sitting there possibility of the
Gospel reaching this right and we needto be a lighthouse in this dark world
because especially in these times, especiallyin these times and the times that are

coming, we're so close, weare, and we have to be in
relationship with Him. We have tobe praying continuously because that's the only way
Jesus is going to know us,right, yeah, because otherwise we get
to the end and we I don'twant to hear any to be able to
build a relationship with God, andthe only way to do that is to
not only talk to him and conversewith him, but to get into his

word He left us the Bible right, right, basics written instructions before leaving
earth. Right, Yeah, Imean, hello, we have we have
two defenses against the times that arecoming. The logos, which is the
written world word, and the rama, which is which is the indo the
Holy Spirit, right, yes,so so, but you can't have one

and not the other and think you'reokay, Yeah, you have to have
both the logos. It's a it'sa big book, the Bible. It's
a lot of books, a lotof these six books, you know,
Yeah, yeah, I mean thousandsof page, hundreds of words, right,
and you know, and and ifyou just kind of like ignore most
of it and I'll just have mypast or just give me a couple of
verses here and here and there thatI like you, you are putting yourself

in extreme danger because then you leaveyourself susceptible to what the Bible calls fables
and deceptions of men, and you'llheat the teachers for yourselves in last days.
It'll tickle your ears, tell youwhat you want to hear. They'll
read you a couple of verses here, a couple of verses there. The
Bible has some some stuff in itthat you know. I'm sorry. It
might scare you, it might catchoff guard. It may not be what

you want to read or what youwant to hear. But don't be like
those Israelites in the wilderness. Mosesdidn't come back when we wanted them to.
So here we're going to make agolden cast. This this is serious
stuff. This is serious. Weare living in serious times. We didn't
get to our verse, our passage, No we did not. But do

that. So, I mean,he's the author of confusion, he's the

father of lies. Don't worry abouthim. He's he's surprising. Anything good
that happens, he'll be surprised.But then Jeez goes on to say,
say, by the way, interms of the body of Christ, my
bride, it's it's the wicked servantfor whom I'm coming back as a thief,
which means if you're not a wickedservant, you won't be surprised when
he comes back. Okay, you'llyou'll like like like you'll you'll be looking

moment I'm oh my gosh, likelike now I know he's coming back any
minute, because we've gone through sevenyears of great tribulation we've seen in the
reign of the anti Christ. UhSo, so don't be a wicked servant
now, Paul the Apostle, Paul, he honed in on this too,
So Bill, if you don't mindreading this, Yeah, it's the day
of the Lords. First Thessalonians fiveone through eight that says, but concerning

(51:52):
the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should
write to you, for you yourselvesno perfect that the day of the Lord,
and so comes as a thief inthe night. Pause there for a
second. How how would his readersknow perfectly that becas they're the followers of
Jesus, and they were there becauseJesus said it and said, yeah,
right, go ahead, he says, for when they say peace and safety,

(52:15):
then sudden destruction comes upon them aslabor pains upon a pregnant woman,
and they shall not escape. Canyou pause that for a second, peace
and safety. I've had to havepeople challenge being that, Well, that
doesn't make sense. How would peoplesay that during the Great Tribulation? Because
this is the whole point of theanti Christ. He shows up, I
know the worlds and chambles, threeand a half years of great tribulation.

(52:35):
I'm gonna fix everything. We're gonnago back to normal mark of the beach
and it will be, and itwill they'll be. They kind of will
be booming again, and everybody willbe saying, yes, peace and safety,
everything except those of us who werein the know. We're gonna being
persecuted anyways. Okay, so Igo on, but you brethren are not
in darkness. Hold on one secbecause we're gonna want emphasize this first four
everybody, please pay very close attention. This's go ahead, build yeah,
this this, this whole versure.It says, but you brethren are not

in darkness, so that this dayshould overtake you as a thief. That
is amazing, You brethren are notin darkness, so that this day,
the second coming of Christ, therapture right, should overtake you as a
thief. Going, keep going.But are all sons of light and sons

of the day. We are notof the night nor of darkness. Therefore
let us not sleep as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
And verse seven says for those whosleep sleep at night, and those
who get drunk are drunk at night. Verse eight, But let us who

are of the day be sober,putting on the breastplate of faith and love
and as a helmet the hope ofsalvation and terry. Do you want to
read that little sentence I have atthe bottom there? And Jesus is coming
as a thief unexpectedly only for thosebrethren who are in darkness, who are

asleep and drunk. And again,noe, this is about Christians. Yeah,
so so again I mean Paul reallygets into it here. So so
he's adding to what Jesus said.He's he's you know, commenting on it
further. So Jesus said, ifyou're a wicked servant, then then I'm
gonna surprise you. I'm not goingto come at a time you expect.
And then Paul says, if you'rein darkness, and he's talking to believers
here, it's it's this is talkingabout the body of Christ. Those Christians

(54:29):
who are in darkness, He's comingas a thief. For those Christians who
are drunk, he's coming as athief. You're going to be surprised.
For those who are asleep not payingattention, He's coming as a thief.
Okay, so so but Paul sayingto us in the studio, those of
you listening over the air, youare not of darkness. You're not drunk,
you're not asleep. Therefore, watch, be sober, be awake,

(54:52):
stay in the light, look atthe truth of it, and you will
not be at all surprised. Sothis whole argument, uh, you know,
he's coming as like we read fromyou know, the Levely you know,
ladies right and Draam right, lotsof Graham that that you know his
return is imminent. It could itcould happen at you know, any moment.
It's a total surprise because he's comingin with Thief of the Night.
That's not us. We won't besurprised. In fact, this is this

is now. I'm really sticking myneck out right at the end of our
show. But if you really knowscripture, you literally will be able to
look on your at some point.Not now. No one knows the day
of the hour. That was truewhen Gi said, it's true today and
on this date in twenty twenty three. But there's coming a time when when
we as a body of Christ,if we know, we'll be able to
look at the calendar and say,hey, on this date that looks like

the date, this actual date severalyears in advance, that he's going to
