For the Love of God by AndrewRip on your Celebration Radio Network. We're
at sixteen and a half minutes afterthe hour, and this is Bill and
in the studio with me this morning. I've got pastor Ryan, John and
Terry. Good morning, Good morning, Good morning Friday. Yes, yes,
Friday. It's still my time outthere. Like I said when I
came in, it's still dark.Yeah, I'm watching for the You know

(00:23):
when I'm drive into the show thatyou kind of see a little bit of
a sunrise one story coming, Yeah, I think so. Yeah, spring
is coming. According to Pucks ofTony Phil Yes, did you see a
shadow or not see a shadow whateverhowever that works. They just said that
spring's coming. So well, Igot a few articles here in front of

(00:49):
us that I was looking at yesterdayand and uh emailed them to John and
and Ryan and printed them out forus here in the studio about what's happening
in the Middle East and and Uh. More revelations have surfaced about the ongoing
brutality of Commas and how the negotiationsin Egypt about freeing the slaves or the

(01:12):
slaves the prisoners basically has failed becausethey really aren't going to do anything until
the hostages are released, you know, before the ceasefire. So, I
mean that's what they're saying. Anyway. So we've been talking off the air
about you know, who's about thepool? Yeah, about the fool.

(01:38):
You know, who's who's more thefull the fool or the one? And
that was who said that. Thereyou go, And so we're you know,
kind of saying, you know,Blincoln is is really really strongly suggesting
that to keep Hamas and and Israelfrom fighting, oh, we need to

(02:04):
you know how first of all,how do we have the right to go
in and tell them to stop?Yeah, well, because we provide them
billions of dollars of eight every year, and that's not that's not our country.
Yeah, you know, so I'venever understood that's yeah, yeah,
yeah, I know, I getYeah, but it's like when they're facing

(02:27):
what they're facing, the fighting thatnow has gone into Lebanon and what's happening
there too as well, and theeighty thousand people that they're wanting to get
out of northern Israel and evacuating theevacuate, and they're not you know,
Hamas is not letting them the hes. Yeah, all of this is that
it's turning deadly on both sides.Obviously it's bad. Yeah, it's a

(02:50):
two front war now. I meanit is trying to trying to keep the
situation in the North, you know, under wraps until they get Hamas taken
care of. And you know, they have no control over that. I
mean that Israel's doing the best theycan, but has Blaws because who's actually
behind all this Iran? Yeah, yeah, Kamas is iron has blas An
the Hooties and yeah, yeah, this this is Iran fighting a proxy war

(03:12):
against Israel, and you know, and us, everybody knows it. And
they've been going on. We've beenshooting down their drones and missiles and our
ships, bombing our bases and yeah, Syria, Jordan's even yeah yeah Jordan,
Yeah we got bombed there was Yeah, so every people died there.
So yeah, US soldiers, thisis this is serious. Yeah time,

(03:34):
Yeah, something something like that.Yeah. But one of the things that
I've I noticed with our government, you could say, and a lot of
other people as well. We weretalking about this off the air, John
about you know, the ignorance behindthe violence of the Hamas soldiers just turned
blind eye tubes and they're like sayingit didn't happen, this is all fake,

(03:58):
you know. And then we've gottons of video of the and it's
coming not from just idea, it'scoming from captured cell phones that were used
to video from by the Hamas people. Yeah, they fill up themselves.
Yeah, they're they're they're filming.But it's but it's it's like I went

(04:19):
to but went back to when wewere talking earlier, is people are in
just complete denial. Look at thepeople that say the Holocaust never happened.
It's the same the same thing. They just don't want to see it and
they don't want to believe it.And right, that didn't happen. Yeah,
well I told you guys that that. No, I'm you know,
we're very import of is. Orthey're going to come in November, by

(04:40):
the way to have some visit.Yeah, I'll have them on the radio
and all that, hopefully. Buthis brother was actually in one of the
key Boots team kaboots is that thatgot by half the people got killed there,
And yeah he was His fiance wasactually out of talent at the time,
it turned out, but he wasin their little you know home there
and and you know, hid inthe bedroom and he saw Steff firsthand.

(05:02):
Yeah, so so we we andyou know, I know him like I've
had Chabbat dinner with me a coupleof times. So we here, we
actually know someone personally who saw thesethings firsthand. I mean first hand account
of the atrocys that come on didand they did stuff that I won't even
say on the right right, won'teven repeat it. Yeah, it's just
there's some of that. Even inthese articles we have, there's some of

(05:25):
the things in there that are thatare said, you know what's going on.
It's like, how can you donot how can you say this didn't
happen? It doesn't make any sense, right yep, Because the whole world
is against Israel and the Jewish people, and that's been the truth since you
know, day one. So that'sprophecy. When I say the whole world,
you guys know what I mean system, Yeah, because to them,

(05:46):
oh yeah, that's prophecy. Andthe negotiations, by the way, the
reason that they that they're failing. So Codder tried to get in on it,
which is a joke because Cotter ishousing you know, two of the
top guys from from Camas billionaires livea life of lecture. They're in counter
so that that was a joke. But but but Egypt has been trying to
get involved in Israel's had a peacetreaty with Egypt since nineteen ninety four or

(06:11):
no, it was it was laterthan that. I think it was.
That was the that was Yeah, the no Egypt Egypt I think was ninety
four and Jordan was later. Ithink I'm gonna have that backwards. But
the deal that Hamas is insisting onand they'll take nothing less is please let
us survive. So Hamas wants tosomehow stay in power in Gaza, not

(06:33):
going to happen, and Israel sayinglook sorry, and and you know,
of course they want to free thehostages. I mean, that's their people.
But Netahu one play in the exactright game. In my opinion,
whatever it takes, it, it'sterrible what's happened. And I pray for
the hostages. I hope they're okay. But job one is eliminate Caamas,

(06:54):
wipe them off the map. SoI mean that that's a joke. Well
that you know, let us stayin power, No, so we can
come and do this to the sameatrocities that happened us on nine to eleven.
Right, what was the first thingwe wanted to do. We had
to get rid of them. Yeah, yeah, they can't remain in power
anymore. And so we went afterwhat was the guy's name, Osama bin
lady. Yeah, and we didn'tstop until it was done. The same

(07:17):
thing. Yeah, you didn't hearpeople up in arms about that. Oh
you got to stop. You can'tdo that. No, everybody was for
it. Let's do it, let'sdo it. Well, that Israel's in
the same boat. Stay. Theygot attacked, terrorists attacked on them and
all the people that were killed onOctober twelfth, seventh seventh, Okay,
I got my dates wrong. Okay, October seven, same thing. So

(07:38):
now they're okay, you can't bein existence anymore. I mean, you're
your threat, your threat against us, same exact scenario. Just think if
that happened to the United States. We let stay in power into you know,
Okay, give us back the hostagesand then we'll we'll let you guys,
you know, come and hit usagain. No, get Sealed Team
six in there and get the hostagesback. That's that's the thing, I

(08:01):
know. The idea is trying reallyreally hard to you know, get in
there and rescue the hostes. Andthey managed to rescue a few. You
know, there were those two oldergentlemen, right, yeah, I say
older. They're not that much olderthan us here. But but but it
just says what it is. Imean the tunnel systems. Tunnel. Yeah,
that tunnel system is incredible. Ijust can't imagine they just discovered another

(08:22):
one. Yeah and yeah, tonsof food, tons of money, fully
equipped kitchen and bathroom. It's likereally Yeah, it was cinemarsh and his
fa Yeah, they guy charge, yet his days remembered. Yeah. So
on a more much brighter note,we have another article in front of us

(08:46):
about the Asbery Awakening and it happenedover a year ago now and it was
just over a year, yeah,February eighth of last year. Wow.
I mean, man, it's alittle over all, over a year,
but the impact is still going. And this leads back to what we were
talking about, because being in thelast Days, Joel, you know,

(09:13):
prophesied that God's spirit would be pouredout upon all flash and then Peter stood
up on the day of Pentecost andrepeated those words. Because what happened on
the day of Pentecost. God's HolySpirit was poured out right. And so
now we see this happening in Americaand elsewhere. It's not just in America.

(09:35):
What happened over this last year, universities all over in Australia and Africa
and Europe and everywhere. And nowwe have another article in front of us
saying, you know that the awakeningimpact is still ongoing one year later.
An overwhelming Glimpse of God is thetitle of this article at Asbury University,

(09:58):
and it only lasted the little overtwo weeks last year at Asbury, but
the impact was felt far and wide, and not only on campus, but
like I said, around the world. And the Asbury President, doctor Kevin
Brown, says that it's still afeeling of expectancy in the air a year
later. Have you guys ever, you guys have probably been to like large

(10:20):
consoles. Yeah, you get thatenergy that's building and you know that worship
and you can actually feel that presence. Oh yeah, yeah, So this
is what they're still experiencing over ayear later here at Asbury and elsewhere.
I'm sure, But what an incrediblething. You mean when we when we

(10:43):
think about what's all going on inthe world and the war and in the
Middle East and with Israel, andGod is still on the throat and he's
on the move with the younger generation. Yeah, yeah, which is good.
Yeah, yeah, it's very needed. Yeah it is. Who said
that, you did, right?I said, yeah, very very needed.

(11:09):
Ryan said, yeah, it is. And it's it's exciting to see
it really is. They're more prolife than than the generations before them.
There's there's so much evidence to youknow, I mean, they're leading the
charge. Yeah, right, andit is definitely exciting, and so little
reminders so we see, you know, Satan's hand at work in this world

(11:30):
and he's trying to bring his plansabout. Of course that God just keeps
reminding us behind the scenes. Yeah. Look, I've got my plan going
to Yeah, which which one's goingto rights? Victorious in the wind?
Yeah? Well in the end, yeah, I go to Revelation twenty what
is it, twenty two, twentyfour? Even chapter nineteen. Yeah,
I mean, you know, allright, Jesus comes back and what's the

(11:50):
saying. I've read the end ofthe book and we win. Yeah,
you got it. One seventy one, ninety three one three one eight hundred
and seven to one ninety three thirteenStephen mcwitter with come Jesus, Come on
Your Celebration Radio Network. One day, good good one yea yeah, yes,

(12:11):
don't stop praying. That is MatthewWest on Your Celebration Radio Network at
sixteen almost sixteen minutes to the topof the hour. This is Bill the
phone number again. Eight hundred seventwo one ninety three one three one,
eight hundred seven two one ninety threethirteen. Pastor Ryan, John and Terry
are in the studio with me.I promise she's in here. Here,
she's here, made a cup comment, she's warming up, yea yeah.

(12:35):
Usually get going the second hour.Yeah, So we've been talking about end
times obviously obviously, and what's beengoing on in the Middle East and and
uh here in America, the ongoingimpact of the Asbury College experience that happened
last year, and it's great strowingstill yeah, it's still still moving the

(12:58):
spirit of the Lord. Yeah. And you know, according to chapter two
of Joel, the spirit would bepoured out upon all question in the last
days. So we're experiencing it becausewe're in the last days. Yeah,
because we were in the last days. Again, God's on the move.
Satan's on the move for sure, but God's on the move. So sure,
yeah, good thing. We're onthe right side of this thing,
right right, right exactly. Soso we're so And also, you know,

(13:22):
related to what we were discussing inthe in the first segment about Israel
and you know, trying to getthe hostages out and has a law run
all that. So so there isthis you know, lingering question that I
got a lot in the beginning ofthis thing, you know, not so
much now it's kind of settled down. But you know, we as Christians,
you know, you know, arewe on the right side of this
with Israel? I mean, youknow, should we? To me,

(13:43):
it's it's a no brain. It'sshocking that Christians even asked this question.
But I think most Christians around theworld they really don't know the right answer.
You know, didn't we replace theJews? You know, didn't didn't
God reject the Jews? So sothis is what we're discussing here on this
you know show. Now you knowis you know, is God you know,
still in covenant with the Jewish people, the modern day nation of Israel.

(14:05):
We're talking about, right, arethey still his his chosen people?
Does He have an ultimate destiny forthem? And just real quick, we
always say right at the start, the answer that question is yes. So
that's where that's where we stand, and we're proving it, you know,
biblically, so we're well, yeah, it's like you said before. The
confusion comes in from a lot ofdifferent things that come out. The replacement

(14:26):
theology is the biggest one. Right. A lot of people have heard that
over the years, and they justso they start getting confused absolutely, which
is the tactic of Satan because youknow, as we talked about before that
you know, Satan has been tryingto wipe out the Jews from the beginning
because it's through the Jewish people thatMesiah came and will come again. And
so, like I said a fewfew shows ago, I think that you

(14:48):
know, us, being Christians,we've been grafted in right to exactly to
the vine, not replaced exactly thebranch. So you know, the Lord
is the branch, were the vine, and you know same for same for
the Jews. There's the original. We've just been grafted in. Yeah,
Paul says very clearly. He saysdon't. So don't boast against the root,

(15:09):
because if God can cut off branches, he can cut you off too.
Years ago there is Yeah, Godgets pretty hard sometimes he needs to
see what he does. We're kindof stuck. Yeah, we're you know,
we're a stubborn and stiff necked people. Christ, you know, right
like that, you know that mulethat doesn't want to turn, and it

(15:30):
comes out of pride, and youknow, us versus them, and look
how great I am and all ofus are nothing you know about Christ?
And Christ said I came for thejew first and then the gentile. Right.
So anyways, all that said, somebody knows where we stand. Right.
So so we're looking at the Bookof Ezekiel first and foremost to just
you know, really start to establishthe answer to this question. Right.
So e Ekiel was was prophesying inthe time of the Babylonian captivity, which

(15:56):
took place. Fully they destroyed thetemple in Jurisom in five eighty six PC.
So this is, you know, twenty six hundred years ago, right,
is what we're looking at. Butit's not just a historical document,
the Book of Ezekiel. It's alsoextremely eschatological yes. So, because that's
the case, we can look forclues in the Book of Ezekiel about God's
ultimate plan for the nation of Israeland the Jewish people, because Ezekiel is

(16:21):
about that, It is about theJews, it is about Israel. Right,
So we hit some of it lastshow, but let's dive right in.
So Terry's going to start us offwith what chapter or Ezekiel twenty five
and what's the header over that section? Well, the first one is proclamation
against Aman exactly, and verse threesays say to the Ammonites, hear the

(16:48):
word of the Lord God. Thatsays the Lord God, because you said,
aha, against my sanctuary when itwas profaned, and against the land
of Israel when it was desolate, and against the House Judah when they went
into captivity. Okay, so pauseright there for a second. So does
anyone here know what i'man is ohman something like that? Yeah? Well

(17:10):
you said it's currently the capital ofJordan, right, the nation of Jordan,
Jordan. So we're gonna be reading, you know, just one little
verse from three different sections here, and who's who's reading the second lee?
I am I got Moab. Yeah, So the heading is proclamation against Moab.
So this is verse eight of Ezekieltwenty five says, thus says the

(17:33):
Lord God, because Moab and Seersay, look, the House of Judah
is like all the nations. Okay, so they're like they're mocking. Okay.
So so and then Bill, what'swhat you have? Proclamation against Edom?
And it says this in verse twelve, that says the Lord God because
of what Edom did against the Houseof Judah by taking vengeance and has greatly

(17:56):
offended by avenging itself on them.Yes, exactly, Okay, great,
So we have three three section headersthere in this the new King James version.
That's all we have the section headers. If you reading at home,
maybe maybe your version whatever you're lookingat doesn't have those. But but it's
the three people groups, right. So again this this is historical, yes,
but it's ultimately eschatological. So soGod was going to judge these three

(18:21):
people groups. I'm on Moabanidam becauseduring the time of the Babylonian invasion and
captivity the jew and by the way, these groups ended up so coming to
the Babylon Babylonians to okay, butbut but it's also, uh, this
is future tense. Also, it'ssome about the endime. I'm gonn We're
going to prove this as we go. But but in Revelation, chapter twelve,

(18:44):
so book a Revelation that's future, right, it describes it during the
last half of the seven year GreatTribulation that the nation that the Jews in
and around Judah, Okay, again, we're talking modern day nation of Israel,
that they're going to escape from fromthe anti Christ who during that that
last half of the Great Tribulation thatlast three and a half years, is
ruling and reigning in jurisom usurps theHoly Temple right, subot nation, desolation.

(19:07):
Yeah, we all know about that. And and they actually escape into
southern Jordan, okay, which isEdam by the way. That's that's what
this area is called. And andand they're they're they're protected for that three
and a half years and God takescare of them. Okay. But but
apparently the Jordanians, this is prophesiedtwenty six hundred years ago, are are

(19:29):
not going to treat them well they'rethere, they won't be happy to have
them there. It's a very veryyou know, complex, you know topic,
you know, complicated story. AndI was just in this area back
in May, so I took severaldays and went into Jordan and went into
to southern Jordan. So what itwhat it says here in the first part
about Aman, it says and Imanagain is the you know, name of

(19:52):
the modern day capital of the Nationof Jordan. Thus is Lord because you
said aha, which is like mockingagainst my sanctuary. What is my sanctuary
is people, It's it's not it'swhat what's what? What does it mean
in prophecy when it says my sanctuaryor just in in the Old Testament or
New Testament for that matter, it'sspecifically referring to, Okay, the Holy

(20:14):
Temple, the Temple, the Templein Jerusalem. I just think it is
Jerusalem in general. But yeah, right, yeah, yeah right. So
so my sanctuary when we see that, that's referring to actual the physical temple
in Jerusalem. So we know thatthe Jordanians today kind of ostensibly control the
temple mound because Israel lets them.Right, it's called the Walk, and
and uh, there's this constant tensionand conflict between Israel and the Nation of

(20:38):
Jordan over the Temple, the locationthe temple. Right now, the time
of the rock is standing there rightso so so we so today, twenty
six hundred years later, we actuallysee this dynamic happening, you know,
right in front of our eyes.Because Moab and Sear say, now what
Seer is? That's that's that's referringto Mount Seir, which is happens to

(20:59):
be the location of this really coolancient city built by the Nabouteans two thousand
plus years ago. And it's thesethese you know, amazing you know,
dwellings and temples and treasuries built intothe walls of the canyon and even anybody,
what's the name of the place, you know it? I do.
I got a really cool picture ofmyself there with my buddies camels. Petraea,

(21:21):
pet So this is where this iswhere we get the idea that the
Jews will be hiding out in Petra. Here is Mount Seer. That's why
Petra's Okay, Mount ser So Sothat's referenced here the Mummy. The movie
The Mummy, they talk about Mountthe Return or something like that. Is
that true? They talk about Mounther Yeah, well it's one of the
locations that they went to to film. I think. Okay, Indiana Jones,

(21:42):
The Last Day Jones very famous, right, I think I've seen it
in one of the movies and andit says because of what Edam did against
you. It's very photogenic. Sowe see in movies and everything, right,
usually just the treasuries what they show. But yeah, I was shocked
when I was there. It's milesand miles of hundreds of dwellings cars really
into the Sandstone slips. It's shocking. Just how oh cool? Yeah,

(22:06):
very very impressive. And I wentthere to kind of study, you know,
how can you know a million Jewslive, you know, here during
the last half of the Great Tribulation, but around the whole it won't be
like literally in Petra. Maybe someof them will be there for some reason.
Probably not though the whole area aroundPetra is just dozens of towns and

(22:26):
there's trees and there's infrastructure and streetsand yeah, it's a perfect setup anyways.
So so this is this is verymuch part of the end time story
that this is where where the Jewsare going. So we probably need to
take a break and then we comeback. We're gonna look at some other
judgments that did happen back then twentysix hundred years ago. But that we'll
see that they they fit our modernstory to a t, just like awesome.

(22:48):
See with Jordan right here, itfits our modern story to a t.
Wow. Very cool. Yeah, there's one eight hundred seven two one
nine three one three one eight hundredseven two one ninety three thirteen Cochrane and
Company and Parking Lot coming up nexton your Celebration Radio Network. Again that
number eight hundred seven to one.I'm three one three, Good morning,
your Celebration Radio Network. Morning Bill, Hey, morning, joy listening,

(23:12):
enjoy listening this morning to you andPastor Ryan and the other gentleman discussion.
Very very enlightening. Hey, Ido have a prayer request, Bill,
okay, uh ten am this morning. I have a medical procedure of colonostrophy
okay, like my third one atmy age and all that. But anyway,

(23:36):
just prayer that it will go welland that they wouldn't find anything in
there that shouldn't be in there.Okay, Yeah, I appreciate that.
And what's your name again? Yousound really familiar? Yeah, okay,
I have I can press repress it. Okay, yep, I haven't spoke
to you nowhow yeah, how yourdog's doing okay, yeah, yeah,

(24:00):
Bear still kicking. So he justturned fourteen yesterday, so yeah. And
my husky is as rambunctious as everat three and a half, so sure,
yeah, yeah, he's at thatage. Oh yeah. And your
and your wife as well. Herhealth is good. Well, she's she's
still kicking too, so okay, all right, very good. Well,

(24:23):
appreciate your ministry there built so muchor a real blessing for me. Oh,
thank you. I'll let you.Let you go. Brother, appreciate
right taking my pri quest. Youare very welcome. Mike. All right,
let me know what happens. Okay, yes, sir, a little
bit, all right, God blessed. Yeah, walk with Jesus that's consumed

(24:44):
by fire on your celebration radio network. And that is our goal for you
today to walk with Jesus and everyday man. Well, my name is
Bill. The phone number eight hundredand seventy two one nine three one three.
Pastor Ryan, John and Terry arein the studio with me, and
we've been in the Book of Ezekiel, chapter twenty five, and we're going
to be going into chapter twenty sixnow and talk continuing our discussion. Are

(25:07):
the Jews, the Israelites still God'schosen people, yes, does he have
an ultimate destiny for them? Andthis is all in the context of this
question, should we as Christians besupporting modern day Israel and the Jewish people?
And the answer just to give itaway, yes, right, but
we're approving it out. So inthe last segment we looked at what Ezekiel

(25:30):
propht sizes about the nation of Jordan, and again there was a historical context,
but there's ultimately in times context.Right, So that's where the Jews
will hide, the Jordanians will nottreat them well, the Jordanians that that's
where everybody like dumps all their refugees. They've got the largest population of Palestinians
that hasn't gone well. If youguys ever heard of Black Tuesday, I

(25:52):
think it's back in the seventies whenthe Palestinian refugees invaded, you know,
stormed them on and tried to murderthe king and take over. They they
don't like having the Palestines there, they just don't. And they're not gonna
like having the Jews there. Theydon't. They don't get along with them
either. But so now reading alittle bit further, what's the what's the
next section? Okay, this isactually still in Ezekiel twenty five and this

(26:14):
is a proclamation against Philistia. Andthis is from verse fifteen that says the
Lord God because the Philistines stellt ventrallyand took vengeance with a spiteful heart to
destroy because of the old hatred, because of the old hatred. Okay,
now this is interesting. So doesanyone know what Philistia is? You ever
hear of the Philistines the villain?Yeah? Okay, so who are the

(26:36):
Philistines relates? So? Yeah, they were they were the worst enemy of
the Israelites, right, so they'rethe ones who stole the ark of the
cabinet from David and Goliath. Iwas going to say Eliath, that's the
first thing that comes to my mind. Yeah, one of the descendants of
this giants, right, Nephiline,That's what he was, was right,
and you know David had to killThat's how he rose the power kind of

(26:56):
set off. Yeah, with hisown sword. He was so cool.
Yeah yeah, so so he Sothis is interesting. So what does this
have to do with with eschatology theLast Days? What is what? How
does this pertain to the time timesthat we're in today, because remember we're
in the last days, so we'relooking for a modern context. So so,
Terry, do you happen to knowwhere Philistia is on a map?

(27:18):
Was? Okay? And by theway, the name Palestinians, that's derived
from the name Philistines, because theRomans knew how much the Jews hated the
Philistines and vice versa, so theynamed it that the region Palestina after Syria
Palestina technically to kind of stick itto the Jews. Okay, that's it's
the Gaza strip what you would know, okay, gold, Yeah, so

(27:41):
think about that. So so thisspirit that that has existed for thousands of
years, it continues on to thisday, and it was on hold for
for centuries, I mean the lasttwo thousand years. There was no conflict
between you know, the House ofDavid and the and the Philistines. Here
we are, you know, twothousand years out of the time in Christ
and and and guess what it's backand what am I referring to here?

(28:03):
The war in October seventh, right, that's Camas. The spirit of Comas
is the Philistines, the region ofthe Philistines is modern day Gaza. So
do we see a modern context tothis prophecy? And again, who who's
backing the Philistine spiritual? The spiritualPhilistines today to the nation? Ever?
Wrong? Okay? So who hasthe next section? That's me. It's

(28:25):
in chapter twenty six and it's theproclamation against Tire and I think it's pronounced
tier tier. Yeah. I usedto think tire too till I thought it
was went there. Oh all right, Well, in verse two it says
son of man because Tyr has saidagainst Jerusalem. Aha, she has broken
who was the gateway of the peoples. Now she has turned over to me,

(28:48):
I shall be filled. She islaid waste. So now we have
tear in on the action. Okay, so we understand Jordan. That makes
sense in a modern day context, the Philistines, that's God's that makes sense.
So Tier. So the reason thatI know how to pronounce tier because
I always said tired to is againbecause I've been there. Do you guys
remember like when I was there orwhy? It was a couple of years

(29:11):
ago and it was our very goodfriend Nayef, my friend. I think
I've seen pictures you've seen pictures.Yeah, it's been a couple of years
pictures. But that's where I gotlike the Myrrock's truncular shells where they And
the most important thing about tir Isis best baklava in the world, very
very famous shop. It's been therefor like you know, centuries, like

(29:33):
millennia, right, but the bestbakava centuries. But okay, so what
does that mean? So where istear? What does that mean? If
if naif took me there and wegot baclava and hung out on the Mediterranean
and what country is Tier in?That's Lebanon. It would be Lebanon.
Yeah, and it's not just Lebanon, but it's southern Lebanon. So today,
guess what tear is. It's it'sin essence, has blot of territory.

(29:56):
Okay, it's mostly Sunni Muslim today and of course has bla Shia.
But hes blah, what do weknow? We know that hes block
controls all of southern Lebanon. Soso you know, we're driving down the
freeway from Beirut toward tier and allon the freeway is uh Iranian flags,
flags of hes blah, big billboardsshowing the Mulas and Solomone. It's this

(30:21):
is just over the wall. Yeahyeah, well this this is like like
on the free This is like billboards. This is like infrastructure. I mean,
hes BLA seriously controls it, thiswhole region. So, so does
this fit into a modern context thatthe Tear is gonna going to attack Israel
and it's in the worst time inIsrael's history. It's happening right now.
That's the key, right there,Bill exactly, that's the key. So

(30:42):
so so, so that's making senseright, yes, Now, let's let's
let's kind of prove out that Ezekiel'snot just about historical events. Can we
all scroll down to chapter twenty eightplease, and we are there. John's
going to start us, okay,And what's what's the title yourself? The
heading on this new King James versionis the Lamentation for the King of Tyr.

(31:03):
So I'm going to read eleven throughthirteen. It says, moreover,
the word of the Lord came tome saying, son of Man, take
up a lamentation for the King ofTear, and say to him, thus
says the Lord God, you werethe seal of perfection. This should all
start ringing a bell, run away, go ahead, full of wisdom and
perfect in beauty. You were inEden, the garden of God. This

(31:26):
is the king of tear. Really, every precious stone was your covering.
The sardist topaz and diamond, burrowonyx and jasper, satisfire, turquoise and
emerald with gold. The workmanship ofyour timbrels and pipes was prepared for you
on the day you were created. So yeah, so it's the king of

(31:48):
this guy, the king in thislittle town called tyr Okay, Is that
who's talking about here? I don'tthink so. So, Terry, Terry,
you want to pick up there?Fourteen through sixteen, you were the
anointed Cherup who covers. I establishedyou. You were on the holy mountain
of God. You walked back andforth in the midst of fiery stones.
You were perfect in your ways fromthe day you were created till iniquity wasn't

(32:12):
found in you. By the abundanceof your trading, you became filled with
violence within, and you sinned. Therefore I cast you as a profane thing
out of the mountain of God,and I destroyed you, Oh covering Cherub,
from the midst of the fiery stones. Wow, Okay, and Bill
verse seventeen. Your heart was liftedup because of your beauty, your corrupted

(32:36):
wisdom. You corrupted your wisdom forthe sake of your splendor. I cast
you to the ground. I laidyou before kings that they might gaze at
you. You defiled your sanctuaries bythe multitude of your iniquities, by the
iniquity of your trading. Therefore Ibought, brought fire from your midst.

(32:57):
I devoured you, and I turnedyou to ash is upon the earth.
In the sight of all who sawyou, all who knew you among the
peoples are astonished at you. Youhave become a whore and shall be no
more forever. Okay, So letme just ask you three, is this
really about the King of Tyr?Who is this Satan? This is Satan?

(33:21):
Hell? Yeah, heard this right? Yeah? This this is so
why do we get this? Likelike, we're talking about Tyr, this
little town in southern Lebanon, andthen all of a sudden it shifts over
to Satan and the whole story ofSatan. You were, you were great,
You were in the garden of God. You were the the you know,
the covering cherub. And now you'reout and God cast you out of

(33:42):
his holy mountain. That's kind ofrepens the Templeament. And and and then
and then you're you know, you'regoing to be destroyed by God. You're
going to be an absolute horror. And then it says, and shall be
no more forever. So not onlyis this uh Satan okay, but it's
clearly escatala because and shelby no moreforever? Is that true about Satan?
No? Not, ye know itwill be yet, So when does that

(34:06):
happen? That actually happens at theend of the Millennial Rain, which is
a thousand years after the end ofthe seven year Great Tribulation. So Ezekiel
is eschatological. It shifts to thisstory of Satan because what is the focus
of God's judgment on this whole thing. It's the Antichrist, and that's that's
what this is is pointing to where'sthe ani Christ come from? That region
up north? It is called theKing of the North. Right, Yeah,

(34:28):
you see it, Yeah, yousee it? Okay, real quick,
I know we need to take abreak. But the next section is
Proclamation against Sea Don and and seeDon is right by Tiers. So when
you're on the freeway from Beirut toTier in southern Lebanon. You pass right
by sea. Done so same thing. This is a reference to modern day
hesblah with Iran backing it the Antichristand so all right, okay, I

(34:50):
think I think we're pass due fora break. So all right one seven
two nine three one three, eighthundred seven two one ninety three thirteen.
Here's brook it would with a thousandhallelujahs. On your Celebration Radio network.
That is Matt Maher along with ChrisBrown and in the room on your Celebration
or Radio Network one eight hundred seventytwo one nine three one three, eight

(35:13):
hundred seven two one ninety three thirteenin the studio with me this morning,
has pastor Ryan, John and Terry. We've been in the Book of Ezekiel.
Yeah, that's quite that. Youknow that wheel in the middle of
the wheel kind of right, yeah, great, there you go some weird
stuff. Yeah, yeah, justa little bit. Yeah, is that
kind of like the wheel within thewheels kind of like talking about current and

(35:34):
future prophecy. It's it's actually exactlyyeah, oh yeah, sure, yeah,
wheel and over the wheel, yeah, why not? Yeah, that
works for me, sure, multiplelayers, Yeah, yes, and yeah,
that's what we're looking at here.So so you know, Ezekiel,
we know is about the Babylonian captivity, you know, twenty six hundred years
ago, that's when Ezekiel was propsign But it's also very scatological. We've

(35:58):
already been you know, seeing improvingthat. So because of that, we
can look at Ezekiel's prophecy not justin historical context, but but explaining the
times that we're in today and thisyou know, the soon coming great relationshipy
in the interamry. So we've seenyou know, God's judge judgment against Jordan
and it mentions Mount Sir where theJews will be hiding according to Revelation chapter
twelve. It all ties together, right, and then God's judgment against Felistia,

(36:21):
which is Gaza, that's a commaswhat we're seeing today. His judgment
against Tyrancy Dome that's southern Lebanon, that's has blood territory, that's also back
by Iran. So so that youknow, we could be like reading the
front page news here. You know, it's all right, that's right.
So I'm going to read the lastcouple of verses of chapter twenty eight,

(36:42):
which is where we left off,and the head or here is Israel's future
blessing. You know this is interesting. Okay, So again, is this
just historical or is this talking aboutyou know, the far future? Okay,
now our near future, but Ezekiel'sfar future. Verse twenty five of
chapter twenty eight that says the LordGod, when I have gathered the House
of Israel from the people's plural amongwhom they are scattered, and am hallowed

(37:07):
in them in the side of thegentiles, then they will dwell in their
own land, which I gave tomy servant Jacob, And they will dwell
there. They will dwell safely, their build houses and plant vineyards. Yes,
they will dwell securely. When Iexecute judgments on all those around them
who despise them, then they shallknow that I am the Lord their God.
So this one's a little bit tricky. But the first clue here is

(37:28):
that this that these two verses areeschatological talking about the end times. Is
you knows how I paused on theword peoples and made the point that it's
plural. So the Babylonian captivity, where where were the Jews taken Babylon.
Yeah, how'd you know that sucha scholar? So, so that would

(37:51):
be from among the people where thatwould be singular in that case. Right.
So, so God's using the phraseor the or the word people bulls
here plural, and he references pacificallythe House of Israel. So, so
what year did the Babylonian invasion thecaptivity take place? Again? Yes,
exactly five eighty six PC. Itstars all around right on the tip yr.

(38:14):
Yeah, five eighty six pieces, one hundred and fifty years before that,
in the year seven to twenty twoBC, that's when the Assyrians came
down from the north and invaded thenorthern Kingdom of Israel. Like we see
mentioned here the House of Israel. It's not called Judah here, he's saying
Israel. And that's where we getthe concept of the Ten Lost Tribes.

(38:37):
Right. So those ten tribes, they were scattered to history. They were
taken into the nations to the north, starting off with like you know modern
day Syria Lebanon, right and scatteredthe wind so to this day. So
they were scattered to the peap Bolesnations. So after the Babylonian captivity,
the Jews were allowed to return fromBabylon. What happened to the ten lost

(38:59):
tribes after the Babylonian captivity? Theyknow they're lost tribes. Yeah, yeah,
you guys are answering correctly. Wedon't know because they never came back.
This prophecy still has not come true. God has not gathered the full
nation of Israel from the peoples thenations to which they were said, Israel,

(39:20):
and yeah, just Judas and andwe'll see, we'll see if that's
specifically distinguished, you know, lateron in the in the book here,
but so so again, this isa prophecy about all all twelve tribes coming
back to the nature of Israel. Then and then God says, here they
will then they will dwell safely intheir own land. And there's a there's
a connotation there like like it's apermanent thing, like you guys will finally

(39:42):
be in your land. No one'sgonna bug ever, again, you're gonna
be safe. Doesn't overtly say it. We're gonna see that later on.
But but you see so and so, and what is this and and again,
what's the insight that this gives usinto God's ultimate plan for the Jews?
For the nation of Israel, thatthat if this hasn't even happened yet,
is God finished with this people? Not at all. No, He's
promising right here that one day He'sgoing to bring them all back to the

(40:05):
land of Israel, where they willforevermore dwell safely. Right right, So
what's our next? I think Terry'sgot it, Yeah, I do.
It's from Ezekiel thirty five, versefive, and this is from a section
called judgment on Mountzer And what's MountSeer again? It is take a note
to Patra. Yep, it's Patra. So that and what's significant Indian times,

(40:28):
that's where they're all going to runto. Yeah, that's where the
going to be hiding from the Antichristfor three and a half years. Right,
So go ahead, Terry, becauseyou have had an ancient hatred and
have shed the blood of the childrenof Israel by the power of the sword
at the time of their calamity, when their inequity came to an end.
So what does that mean at thetime of their calamity? What would that

(40:49):
be referring to eschatologically, would thatbe the great tribulation? And that's a
great tribute. That's when they're hidingfrom the Antichrist. The Antichrist is trying
to cut their heads off. Christianstoo, by the way, the whole
world that they're the main twer getright, the Jews, they're they're right
there. What's what's most interesting aboutthis is that then, what's the last
little part of that verse there? When their equity came to an end?
Come on, has that happened?Yeah? With the Jewish people? Did

(41:13):
that happen after the Babylonian captivity? No, not at all. So when
when does does the nation of Israel? When does their iniquity come to an
end? With the end of thetribulation? And do you remember the verse
where we get that from? That'sone hundred percent true? Do you remember?
You remember where we get that from? I remember, Oh, that's
right there on the tip of mytongue. It exactly. You guys all

(41:34):
get gold stars as Daniel Chapter twentyYes, chapter nine, Verse twenty four.
The seventy weeks prophecy, Yes,ends on the very last day of
the seven year Great Tribulation. That'sthe last, that last week. It's
it's a week of years, sevenyears, So the end of the seven
year Great Tribulation. It says thearchangel Gabriel talking to Daniel, seventy weeks
are determined for your people and yourholy city. Who are Daniel's people?

(41:57):
What's this holy city? That's theJews. That's jerwis to finish the transgrestion,
make an indocence, to make areconciliation for iniquity. There it is
to bring an everlasting righteousness, seeala vision and prophecy, and to anoint
the Most Holy which is another hintabout God's ultimate plan for the Jews.
The Jews here, what does thatmean? To anoint the most Holy,
well, to anoint the Messiah. That's it Jesus. It's so this,

(42:21):
this aprophs sied thousands of years agothat the Jews, and at the very
end of the seven year Great Tribulation, will will finally recognize Jesus, Yes
you will right as their their Messiah, their king, their savior, their
lord right, and that it's thatmoment when they finally bring an end to
their iniquity. Ezekiel is clearly aboutthe last days right very much. So's

(42:45):
who's got the next what's the nextverse? And who's God? I think
its Bills Bill is it Ezekiel thirtysix, verse twenty two, that says,
therefore, say to the House ofIsrael, Thus says the Lord God,
I do not do this for yoursake, House of Israel, but
for my Holy Name's sake, whichyou have profaned among the nations wherever you

(43:07):
went. And I will sanctify mygreat name, which has been profaned among
the nations, which you have profanedin the midst, in their midst.
And the nations shall know that Iam the Lord, says the Lord God,
when I am hallowed in you beforetheir eyes. For I will take
you from among the nations, gatheryou out of all the countries, and

(43:32):
bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you,
and you shall be clean. Iwill cleanse you from all your filthiness
and from all your idols. Iwill give you a new heart and put
a new spirit within you. Iwill take the heart of stone out of

(43:52):
your flesh and give you a heartof flesh. I will put my spirit
within you and cause you to walkin my statutes, and you will keep
all of my judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land
that I give to your that Igave to your fathers, and you shall
be my people, and I willbe your God. Wow. So here

(44:13):
again we're looking for God's ultimate planfor the modern nation of Israel's we know
today and the Jewish people, andwe see the House of Israel. They're
mentioned again profane among the nations plural, I'll take you off among the nations,
Yeah, plural. This is talkingabout the all twelve tribes right from
all countries. Bring you into yourown land. That's the modern day nation
of Israel. And the main thingthat we want to get from this passage

(44:34):
is I love that. What's thevery beginning of verse twenty seven, Bill,
this is awesome. Verse twenty seven. Hold on, I just I
went to where John was going toread. Hoo, Therefore I say to
the House of Israel. It's versetwenty seven. Oh that was twenty two.
Sorry, that's okay, this iscool. Twenty seven. I will

(44:55):
put my spirit within you. Causeyou to walk get my statue. So
I will put my spirit within you. So what's what? What is that
describing that God's can the Holy Spiritdwell inside of anyone who was not born
again have accepted Jesus as their Lordand savior missile. You know, Jesus
said that to the twelve disciples,he said, the Holy Spirit is with

(45:17):
you, but he will be inyou. And when do that day happen?
When the day? And that wasthe day of Pentecost. It was
only after Jesus had gone to thecross and they'd all received that they'd all
been born again. Then they werethat pure and spotless temple they could they
could house the Holy Spirit. Sothis is this is not just a promise
that that all the Jews, themodern nation Israel is going to be saved

(45:38):
in the end. But but thisadded detail that God's going to put his
Holy Spirit. He's with them. The Holy Spirit's with the Jews today.
He's going to put his Holy Spiritin them. They're going to be killed
with the Holy Spirit, just likethey're going to step out of the Old
Covenant into the New Covenant. Sowhat are we supposed to be doing in
the meantime, Loving them, supportingthem, praying for the things they are

(45:59):
others and sisters, the Jewish people, we are all gods chosen people together.
Amen, Right? And I justsaw the time. I don't think
