In this episode, Bill, Terri, John, & Pastor Ryan continue their look at one of the most controversial topics in eschatology (the End Times): the question of whether or not--as the Apostle Paul plainly states in Romans chapter 9, 10, and 11 regarding Old Covenant Jews--"in the end, all Jews will be saved."  What did Paul mean by this?  Can Jews be saved apart from Christ?  And, if not, is Paul only referring to those Jews who happen to be lucky enough to make it alive to the moment of Christ's return to Earth at the conclusion of the Great Tribulation and the reign of the Antichrist?  It seems that it's going to take some effort even for our hosts to come to agreement on this one...  Join us for this lively and intriguing discussion!

This podcast regularly discusses these topics:  Bible Study, eschatological, end of the world, End Times, Last Days, Book of Revelation, Pre-Tribulation Rapture, Post-Tribulation Rapture, Rapture, Great Tribulation, Second Coming, Third Temple, Second Coming of Christ, the Antichrist, Abomination of Desolation, Two Witnesses, Four Horsemen, Apocalypse, Israel

Matt Marr and Chris Brown within theroom on your Celebration Radio network. It's
fifteen minutes after the hour this bill. The phone number here eight hundred seven
two one nine three three one eighthundred seven two one ninety three thirteen and
joining me in the studio this morning, it's Pastor Ryan John and Terry Morning.
All. Great to have you herenow. Before we get to our

(00:24):
topic for this segment of the Israel'sJerusalem Day, I also wanted to share
with you what the House Republicans aredoing. They passed a bill on Tuesday
imposing sanctions on officials of the InternationalCriminal Court if they follow through with their
pursuit of those arrest warrants for Israelileaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Thattt and

(00:48):
Yahoo House Speaker Mike Johnson called thecourt ruling unconscionable, and forty Democrats along
with the Republicans, passed that billthey voted for as Also in northern Israel,
firefighters are battling blazes caused by hesbulof rockets, and the fires have
done more damage in days than whathas been done in more than a month.

(01:11):
During the two thousand and six SecondLebanon war. That's a lot of
damage. Yeah. Yeah. Soand then today, well this this article
is like I said for Tuesday, but it said today, which I believe
was on Wednesday. It was JerusalemDay, yes, yeah, yeah,
and it was during the nineteen sixtyseven Six Day War that the Reunited unified

(01:41):
the city so Temple Mount. Ohyeah yeah, I mean it was literally
the most important day in human historysince Jesus was here. Yeah, definitely
for terms of what we talk abouthere, you know price, yeah,
yeah, exactly. Yeah. Sohow how do we say this? Yum,
you're young rush Yeah yeah, yourRushchel I am you means day and

(02:07):
your rushell im. Of course it'sJerusalem. Yeah yeah, all right,
so so Israel's Jerusalem Day. Theyhad a like I said, the Old
City in June nineteen sixty seven wherethey took control over it. Yeah,
we're all just babies. I wasstill my mom's belly at that point.
I was. We'll saying was fourmonths old, months old, sixty seven,

(02:28):
So I won't say how old Iwas. Yeah, yeah, Harry
wasn't even yet. John. Iwas a twinkle on my daddy's eyes.
Yeah, she's the baby here.So yeah. Yeah. So but yeah,
really in terms of prophecy in timespots he just you know human history
in general. Again, most pivotalmoment in history since she'sus died on the
Cross. So yeah, no,that was amazing. They're always trying to

(02:51):
annihilate them because what they became officialin forty seven, nineteen forty eight,
forty eight, forty seven for somereason. Yeah, so forty eight and
twenty years later they're trying to takethem out again. It was nineteen years
later. And the Jordanians for thatthose nineteen years had controlled the entire West
Bank and Easters and the Temple Mountright. And not only were Jews not

(03:13):
allowed on the Temple Mount during theJordanians reign, but if you were Jewish
and you tried to get anywhere nearthe Temple Mount the Western Wall, you'd
get shot. Wow. Yeah, there's pictures of like, you know,
barbed wire everywhere, razor wire andguns on both sides and crazy. Yeah,
it was. It was seriously awar zone. So but you know,
so two thousand years, the Jewshad not had access to that space

(03:36):
up on top of the Temple Mountduring some you know, rains, Empires,
Muslim whatever, during some you knowsome of those centuries they were allowed
to, you know, come andpray at the western wall. But as
we all know, that's just thebase of the western retaining wall of the
Temple. Untight, come on,it's you know, nothing holy about that
particular spot, except that the Jewsalways said, well, that's the closest

(03:58):
that we can get to where thetemple she stood. But yeah, so
two thousand years no temple. TheJews were you know, you know,
out of the land. It washistorically impossible they would ever, you know,
come back and regain that space. But you know, we all know
that critical part of the in timestories that the Third Jewish Temple is going
to be built. Well, thatcan't be built unless the Jews are back

(04:19):
in it and have control of thecity Jers and have control the Temple Mount.
So now we have that nice, beautiful Jewish temple standing on the Temple
Mount. Yes, no, no, why yeah, it doesn't make sense.
So so but last time you werethere, it's it's the climate's changing,
right, aren't they they were lequishing. We're getting getting so close.

(04:42):
Yeah, so and not really sotechnically, the law and the books even
today is that Jews are not allowedto prayer, you know, to pray
on the Temple mount even like youknow, move their lips a little bit
sway back and forth. They've gottenarrested, you know, in banned for
periods of time in times past, but the last about the last two years,
three years when we were there inmaybe of last year, they you

(05:04):
know, the guy who was givenus the two where he was actually the
head of the you know, theIDFN or the Israeli police you know in
Jerusalem for like you know, twentyyears whatever. But he said that the
police are just they're just turning aneye. Now. They're like, look,
the Jews are up here, theywant to pray. The Jews are
visiting the Temple Mountain record numbers. And just yesterday I saw an article that

(05:28):
there was a Jewish man who youknow, was wearing his tepholine, which
is the the you know, thestraps that go on the wrists. I
mean, just very religious symbolism thatthe Muslims recognize and completely against the law.
But the police are you know, walking with this group of Jews,
you know, smiling, not sayingto work. Yeah, you know,
there's kids going up there, youknow, singing, you know, Hotefka

(05:49):
might pronounce that correctly. The youknow, the Israeli national anthem right every
now and then you'll see in Israeliflag waving up there, completely against the
law. But the more we seethe climate change and the police tolerate,
you know, Jewish you know, prayer and nationalism on the Temple Mount.
And again the Jews are visiting theTemple Mount now in record numbers and he's

(06:12):
just exponentially growing every year. Atwhat point do we reach a critical mass
where the Jews are like, look, we own this. We built the
Temple Mount. We understand the demo, the rocks been there for fourteen hundred
years. But that's our space. We want to build our holy temple.
It's just a matter of time.So we're getting so close. So fifty
six years ago, because that's howold Bill and I are, right,

(06:34):
I think fifty Oh man, areyou fifty seven already? Yeah? Wow?
Okay, well I'll show you morerespect then. But it was they
were in that moment, and anyonein live at that time would have looked
at that and said, this isit, man, the end times are
upon us. In fact, therewas a man who saw that and said

(06:54):
that very thing, and he endedup writing a book that became the number
one best seller for the entire decoratedof the nineteen seventies. Hal lindsay,
get close the lake, Great Plandar. Then he the late Great. Yeah.
You remember he used to come tomy parents' house in the Bible study,
would just meet Me and my brotherwere just babies, but my dad

(07:14):
would tell me the story. They'dbe in the kitchen after the Bible study,
drinking coffee. He'd be telling mydad all about this book he's writing,
and he's so excited. My Dad'slike, yeah, whatever, you
know, little you know, Hey, can I invest in your book?
Yeah? Really? But he toldmy father, he said, he said,
yeah. The number one thing thatimpressed upon him to write that book
was the Jews recapturing the Temple Mount. It was June seventh, nineteen sixty

(07:36):
seven. Moteger was in charge ofthe Israeli paratroopers right surrounding the city.
And then that moment when it cameover the radio, the Temple Mount is
in our hands. The Temple Mountis in our hands. That moment,
man, I mean, my gosh, that's really when the when the d
times clock started taking in essence.I mean I say that a lot of

(08:00):
moments, but that one in particular. So right, yeah, so actually
it's been ticking, it's sped up. It's yeah, it's true what Terry
just said has been taking syntax. But you know, there's there's like certain
moments on that clock where it's justlike a you know, major climactic,
you know event. But did Isay climactic? Climatic had nothing to do
with it? Yeah, right, climactic. No, it is climatic.

(08:22):
But do you guys remember the guywho was the Defense Minister of Israel at
that time, in nineteen sixty seven, So the paratroopers are up on the
five months, remember it goes back? Wow, but no idea, But
there's a there's an old black andwhite photograph of a bunch of Israeli paratroopers
on the Temple Mount in front ofthe Dome of the Rock with the Israeli

(08:45):
flag over the Dome of the Rock. Wow. Yeah, and I'll have
to try one. Yeah, I'lltrack down. But but Mosha Diane,
the creepy looking guy with the eyepatch, Yeah, he comes up on
the Temple Mount. He orders themto take the Israeli flag down in that
moment, they could have done it. They could have taken taken down the
Dome of the Rock. I mean, sorry, it's got to be removed

(09:05):
right and rebuilt, you know, began construction at the Holy Temple. Uh.
But he said take it down.He said, we don't need another
Vatican up on the Temple mount. That's literally what he said, right,
wow and uh. And then tendays later he made a treaty with the
with the Muslims. Hey, youguys can keep all your you know,
the Mosca up here, the Domeof the Rock, all the little shrines,

(09:26):
and you guys decide who gets toprey up here here, and you
know who wants to gamble on howyou know how they decided right right,
So anyways, but I'm super gladthat it didn't happen fifty six years ago
because then we wouldn't be here doingthe radio show. It would all be
past history. I wouldn't be writin my book series, you know anyways.
Oh, I wouldn't have been atall. Yeah. Maybe well Jeez

(09:48):
will come back, and you knowthat's going to be a good thing.
So yeah, that's it. Yeah, there you go. But yep,
that's today. Yeah, one eighthundred seven two one ninety three one three,
eight hundred seven two one ninety threethirteen. Get in that favorite or
if you have a prayer request,or if you like to talk to us
again, that phone number eight hundredand seven to one, nine three one
three. Come and see with JeremyRisotto coming up next on your Celebration Radio

(10:11):
network. Got one more article I'dlike to cover when we come back.
Some good news. Brandon Heath withhe does on your Celebration Radio Network.
It's eighteen minutes to the half ofthe hour. This is Bill. The
phone number again, eight hundred andseven to one nine three one three.
So hundreds and hundreds baptized in TexasFountain. It's wells of revival stirring.

(10:37):
That's the that's the title of thisarticle that I hold in front of me
by CBN News, and it saysthousands of believers in Texas say their lives
were changed this weekend after they participatedin one of the biggest revivals that continues
to sweep across the United States thissummer, former Wiccan turned Christian minister Jenny

(11:00):
Weaver baptized hundreds and hundreds of menand women and children in the water found
outside of Trinity Church in Cedar Hill, Texas. I've heard Jenny Weaver's testimony
is just incredible. She was soin a witchcraft and then she somehow got
involved with leading worship and she's likethis, she felt the conflict, you

(11:22):
know, and then all of asudden she turned her life over to Christ
and she's just been on fire forhim ever since that. Yeah, this
is pretty cool. And part ofthis is the core member groups joined Weaver
simultaneously on Mother's Day weekend on beachesand rivers in California, New Jersey,
Missouri, Tennessee, and New Zealand. So, I mean, just more

(11:45):
good news, enough of it,and it's happening in not only in America,
but around the world. In Europethere's a huge revival taking place too
as well, and lots of baptismsin countries that don't even have Christian rate.
And right here in Havisu Sunday night, Calvary Baptist baptized seventy four people.

(12:07):
I saw that on Facebook. Yeah, that's amazing, that's very cool.
Even even in Iran that's going on. There's a little Christian revival,
but you know, and they're yourrisking death right though. Right in Guatemala
they have there's a revival happening there. I've read articles from all like New
Zealand, Australia, other countries ofaround the world that are just I mean,

(12:31):
the Asberry revival that started last yearwas on the anniversary of the one
that started in the seventies for theJesus Movement, and it's just it's like
continued that that well in Joel chaptertwo, verse I think eighteen, it
says that I shall pour out myspirit upon all fleshy, and so it's

(12:52):
continuing and it's just really cool tosee these articles come across the faces of
the people that are coming up outof the water. Yeah, you know,
I mean, oh, just itgives me those you know what we
call holy gooes, you know, goosebumps. You know. I even read
the one article where they said theybaptized in people and they spelled alcohol on
them, and the people went inthe water and got baptized. And you

(13:13):
looked at him and said, wecan't live this way anymore. We've got
to turn our lives over to Christ. Wow. So I mean it's I
mean, even people are just like, Okay, I can't do this anymore.
I got a surrender. Yeah,it's just amazing. Yeah. Yeah,
he's good all the time, allthe time. He's good. Yes.
Well again the number here eight hundredseventy two one ninety three, one
three. Maybe you'd like to shareyour baptism story today. We'd love to

(13:37):
hear from you. Before we getto our scriptures, we're going to go
to some more music and we'll introducewhat we're going to do today in the
next break. So one eight hundredseventy two one nine three one three.
That's eight hundred seventy two one ninetythree thirteen. The Jesus Way by Phil
Wickham coming up next. Done YourCelebration Radio Network. Good Friday morning.
Yes, God is with us.That's the afters on Your Celebration Radio Network

(14:01):
at seven minutes to the top ofthe hour. My name is Bill.
The phone number again eight hundred sevennine three three one eight hundred seven one
ninety three thirteen and again in thestudio with me this morning. It's Pastor
Ryan, John and Terry and Uh, we've got some scripture that we're going
to be discussing. But before wedo that, I believe Ryan asked Terry

(14:24):
to kind of like sum up withour last show of the Ghost Story or
the sound of picture something about SamuelI believe. Yeah, Samuel had died
and Israel was mourning his loss, and Saul had sent all the medium and
mediums and seers out of the land, but then decided to consult a medium

(14:50):
to get some advice from Samuel whowas already dead. So kind of silly
if you ask me, Yeah,a little bit. Not that it didn't
work. Yeah, so they itdid work, and so they I don't
know if they bring him up orthey bring him up, because why did
you bring me up? Yeah,he said, And Saul says, well,

(15:11):
why did you bring Why did youdisturb me by bringing me up?
Samuel said? And you know,so obviously there is life after death.
I mean, this is the storydoesn't say where he came from, you
know where he was. We knowhe was gone from this earth. Yeah,
yeah, it sort of does.So read verse thirteen if you have

(15:35):
it in front of you. Yeah, of Samuel first Samuel twenty eight Verse
thirteen, because it kind of saysspecifically, but it says a spirit ascending
out of the earth. Verse thirteen, though it says and the king said
to her, oh, yeah, right, exactly, no, that's right,
just you got it. And thewoman said, it's all I saw
a spirit ascending out of the earth. So this is this is what's weird.

(15:56):
Okay. So so again kind oflike the big picture that we're discussing
here, which we have been forlike several shows now, right, what
is God's ultimate plan and destiny forthe Jewish people, the Old Covenant people,
which very much sheds light on hisplan for us during that last seven
years of great tribulation, right,So that that's what we're talking about here.
But so it doesn't say, okay, so Samuel he was a prophet,

(16:19):
you know, a great man ofGod. It doesn't say yeah,
he you know, came down fromheaven and he was on a cherry to
fire and there were angels. Itsays this. This medium says I saw
him come from where, out ofthe earth, out of the earth,
which is so weird. So butyeah, like so Terry, like you
were saying, you know, yeah, there's life after death. So everyone's

(16:40):
spirit when we die goes somewhere. So this is where Samuel's spirit happened to
go. And we know that afterthe resurrection. Now that if somebody dies
there immediately with the Lord. Well, depending on the somebody. See,
this is what we're working on here. This is the question. So if
you're born again believer, then thenyes, that's true. Like Paul says,

(17:00):
you have to be about this bodyto be present with the Lord.
So there's there's zero question about thatthat you know, if any of us
four here died today, which wewon't because we're gonna get raptured, right,
yeah, right, we'll be herewhen he comes back. That that
our spirit immediately ascends to the Fatherand we go. We got straight to
hap and right, but why notSamuel, this poor guy, what's he

(17:22):
doing? What's he doing under theearth? What what do you mean like
he lives in a you know, like a spirit's in a cave or something.
Right, So let's get some moreinsight on this. We're gonna dig
and see what the scriptures say.Right, yeah, and uh so,
Bill, what what do you have? You've got to We've got Psalm sixteen
nine and ten that says, thereforemy heart is glad real quick, Bill,

(17:44):
So who is this who's making astatement now? And this is during
the Old Testament times before Jesus camein Psalms. Yeah, so who wrote
Psalms? It's David. Yes,David, He's not the only one that
wrote it, is true, right, this one he did. Ye.
He says, therefore, my heartis glad and my glory rejoices. My
flesh also will rest in hope, for you will not leave my soul and

(18:07):
shield, nor will you allow yourHoly one to see corruption. Okay,
so this is David talking. Andwho's he talking to the Lord? He's
talking to God here, right,He's talking to God and he's saying,
look, I'm glad. You know, you know my heart rejoices, and
even my flesh is going to restand help. So he's talking about when

(18:29):
he dies. Okay, so he'swriting this when he still alive, but
he's anticipating his own physical death.Right. But he says to God,
he says, I'm rejoicing because Iknow you're not going to leave my soul
in chill. So where does Davidknow that he's going when he dies,
his that his flesh is going tostay in the ground, and then his
spirit's gonna got this place called chill. So you want to take a little

(18:51):
break and then we come back.Well, we'll pick it apart some more.
Yep, We're going to do that, okay, in the next hour
after what's coming up next, whichis Stephen mcwitter with Come Jesus Come on
Your Celebration Radio Network eight hundred seventwo one nine three one three, eight
hundred seven two one ninety three thirteen. Josh Baldwin and Jen Johnson on Your

(19:12):
Celebration Radio Network with made for Moreour phone number eight hundred seven to two
one nine three one three one eighthundred seven tow one ninety three thirteen.
We're at seventeen minutes after the hour. Pastor Ryan John and Terry are in
the studio with me this morning, and uh, I just want to say
again thank you to all of youwho are listening, and we do apologize

(19:33):
for not being able to get thatphone call earlier. So if you would
like to call in again that numbereight hundred seven two one nine three one
three. We read through Psalm sixteennine and ten. We were talking about
sheehole and sheilds Samuel coming up outof the out of the earth, which
is she old yea. So weknow now that you know she olds someplace

(19:56):
you know, underneath or inside theearth. And you know, when I
was younger, I read then thinkwell, that's kind of symbolic. I
mean, she has to be likea like a spiritual place with I don't
know. I mean i'm older,I don't know as much as I used
to. I'm not as well Iused to be. In the New Testament
it does talk about coming up outof shee hole. So I know that
the Bible calls of the cities underthe earth, and I mean it literally

(20:18):
could be like an actual Abraham zone. I mean, there's just there's been
so many descriptions of it, right, Yeah, it's so definitely a real
place. It's a real place.Yeah. And uh so the Greece called
Hades, and this is this isdifferent from what we call hell, and
most specifically the Lake of Fire, which you know nobody is in the Lake

(20:38):
of Fire right now. But soso so here's you know, Samuel,
who's a great prophet man of God. Here's King David, who really is
a great man of God. Right, so even even after God's own heart,
Yeah, Jesus the son of David. Yeah, he's like David,
you know, you know, comeingin right and and the Bible even prophesies
about Jesus using the name David. So and he's not going to have neither.

(21:00):
He's going down to shield and andwe know the reason for this.
So why did Samuel, why didDavid? Why did Esther and Rebecca and
Abraham? Why did they all endup in this place underneath the earth because
Messiah didn't. That's it, that'sit. So so so here here's the
thing. So, so you havea whole bunch of righteous people who are

(21:22):
following after God in the Old Testament. These are the Jews, right,
they love God way more to thepoint. We're going to prove this,
Okay, as our study goes on, way more to the point. They
were anticipating the Messiah. Okay, they were looking forward to the Christ.
Uh. They you know, Abrahamwas, you know, a couple thousand
years before Jesus ever even came.So he's going to spend two thousand years
in this place called chield waiting forSo why is that? Terry? So?

(21:45):
What? Why how come they can'tjust go to heaven if they love
God, they're in covenant with himbecause they needed the Messiah to pay for
their sins because it takes it takesthe official perfect sacrifice right to to not
just cover over our sin for anotheryear. Like, yeah, animal and

(22:06):
God cannot coexist in the same placeexactly. And an animal cannot cover your
sins permanently. Only Jesus can. That's it. That's the key. So
very very good selfish message going. And you know that, you know,
did David think that, Okay, you know, she old maybe it's not
so bad. You know, I'mgonna have to go there, and I'm

(22:26):
cool with that. I'll just hangout there for the rest of forever.
What was his hope that he wastalking about? That God will leave there
there? And does David at thispoint, I mean we're talking, you
know, I mean a thousand yearsbefore Jesus even born, does David understand
the mechanism by which he will eventuallybe released from child? What? What's

(22:47):
that? What's the last line there? Bill? Was it say? Nor
will you allow your Holy One tosee corruption? So in your translation your
Holy One is that all capitalized? It is a month? Yes, okay,
go with the new King? James? Yes, Yeah, yeah,
me too. I love it soso uh so, who is your Holy
One in this in this prophecy?Really that David's giving the Lord Jesus's specific

(23:11):
referring to the Messiah. So Davidis anticipating the Messie. He calls him
your Holy One, and once hemean by that, John, what do
you think we'll let Johnny's some talking? Okay there? What's David saying when
he says, God, you won'tallow your Holy One to see corruption?
And this has something to do withDavid being released from she Ol? Yeah,
well, Jesus lived a perfectly sinlesslife, right, so the Messiah

(23:33):
was perfectly sinless, this Holy One, and he's the only one that could
bring him out of Sheol. Andat what moment would would David have been
released from she Ol? Oh?My, what he means by corruption had
to be Yeah. Wouldn't it behis death though, because that's when he
ended the Old Covenant and that's whenhe said it's finished changed if we if

(23:57):
we were having to get like beforeit happened and that that would be maybe
even the best guess. But butnow we know from from past history the
Bible actually tells us that, andyou know it, interestingly, this is
weird. We're going to see this, but it isn't even the moment of
his resurrection But the point here, and I think we need to go to
some music again, is that thatDavid is specifically talking about Jesus's flesh would

(24:19):
not see corruption. Okay, he'she's saying, your Holy One will not
have time to decay in the grave, because that process, according to the
Jews, doesn't really start until thefourth day, not not you know,
technically right, that's what is thatthough? Such a miracle because that's a
fourth day. Right. But Davidis saying he understood that that the Messiah

(24:41):
is going to die, He's goingto be in a tomb, but he's
he's not going to be there longenough for his body to begin to decay.
He is proph saying about the physicalresurrection of Jesus, and it is
this mechanism by which David one daywould be released from shield. So go
to some music. Keep picking thispart interesting. Yes, well, I
just got a text from one ofour listeners, Corlin and yucka Alley.

(25:04):
She says, wow, what adescription of seahl. Yeah yeah, yeah,
she's excited. Okay, and we'rejust getting started. Yeah okay,
yeah, see what else the Biblehas to tell us about this one eight
hundred seven to one nine three, one three eight hundred seven to one ninety
three thirteen. CC Wine ends upnext with that's my King on your Celebration

questions or comments. My mom actuallyheard our show two weeks ago and

(27:06):
she called me up. Oh,you guys are talking about Chiel. Yeah,
good job man, are you Yeah? So she listened to that.
There's and there's the phone as heas on the audience. We allowed to
get your calls called during our yeahthe music and he was playing news.
Yeah, so we want to talkto you well. So Luke sixteen,
Yeah, so that's where we're talkingnow, still talking about Shill. So

(27:27):
this is in Luke sixteen. We'relooking at nineteen through twenty six, and
this is the rich Man and Lazarusstory. There was a certain rich man
who was clothed in purple and finelyand fared sumptuously every day. But there
was a certain beggar name Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at
his gate, desiring to be fedwith crumbs which fell from the rich man's

(27:47):
table. Moreover, the dogs cameand licked his sores. So it was
that the beggar died and was carriedby the angels to Abraham's bosom. The
rich man also died and was buried, and being in torment and hades,
which is the Greek word for sheall, the Hebrew word she all,
he lifted up his eyes and sawAbraham afar Off and Lazarus in his bosom.

(28:10):
And then he cried and said,Father, Abraham, have mercy on
me, and send Lazarus that hemay dip the tip of his finger in
water and cool my tongue, forI am tormented in this flame. But
Abraham said, son, remember thatin your lifetime you received very good good
things, and likewise Lazarus evil things. But now he is comforted and you
are tormented. And besides, allthis between us and you, or say,

(28:33):
great golf fixed so that those whowant to pass from here to you
cannot nor can those from there passto us. Okay, so the lot
going on there? Yes, yes, Now who's talking here? Who said
all this? Jesus Jesus, John, but he was quoting Jesus, yes,
quoting Jesus, right, Yes,it was Jesus as a word by

(28:55):
Luke so so, so we're gettingthis directly from Jesus himself. So Jesus
is not only acknowledging the existence ofthis strange place and the Greek and and
what it's for, what it's about. Uh, he's he's describing two guys
now who who have gone there, and and uh, this is such an

(29:15):
important point, but they're not inthe same place. So Lazarus was was
the beggar, but he was presumably, you know, humble and righteous.
So so he gets carried this place. So so it's not only called child,
but in Jesus's you know, narrativehere he refers to it as Abraham's
bosom. So so the implication thereis just that it's a place of comfort
and and father Abraham is there.Right. Well, yeah, so paradise

(29:40):
is another word that he used later, which we're going to get to,
of course, in our scriptures.Right, that's actually in I think Matthew,
right, it is in Matthew, and I think it's it's not our
next scripture. But but but it'scoming up. Yeah, so so yeah,
so Jesus actually refers to as Sothere's all these names for it,
you know, Sheie Old, Abraham'sBosom, Paradise, right, But the
point is it's not heaven, okay, this is this is again the city's

(30:03):
under the earth. This is aholding place, okay. But what we
get from Jesus here is that there'stwo parts to it, and these parts
are very different, and and theycan see each other, so they're pretty
close to each other, right, you can call across this, but they're
separated by this chasm, and Jesussays there's no way to cross from one
spot to another, right. Okay. So so here's the thing. So

(30:27):
what's the difference between Lazarus and thisrich guy. So Lazarus goes to the
good part of Shield and the richguy goes to the bad part of Shie
Old. Okay, why what youknow? How come? How come one
goes to the good part one goesto the bad part? That's not not
really a trick question. What doyou think the answer is? I would

(30:48):
say, Messiah, Yeah, that'soh gosh, Terry gold Star, that's
that. That's like I was expecting. Like other answers. That's the ultimate
answer. It's faith in the Messiah. That Lazarus again, presumably we can
deduce this from the rest of theBible right and other sources, as we'll
see later, that Lazarus loves God, he's in covenant with God, he's

(31:10):
again, he's a righteous man,and most importantly, like Terry just said,
he is anticipating the Messiah. Heloves the Messiah in his heart.
Doesn't know who he is. Okay, this is just a parable here,
but still it's not really a parable. But but you know, doesn't know
who the Messiah is, doesn't knowhis name, doesn't know that it,
doesn't know who he is when he'scoming, any of the details. But
the messiahs in his heart. Thereforehe so you know, you know,

(31:34):
Paul says, it's appointed unto eachman wants to die. And then the
judgment. There's very few exceptions tothat. There are exceptions, but then
the judgment, and you know,we think of like Judgment Day at the
end of the Millennial Reign Revelation chaptertwenty, the Great Wattrone judgment. But
was Lazarus already judged when he died? Was the rich man already judged they

(31:59):
weren't sent yet for eternity. Neitherone of these guys are in the place
where they're going to spend all ofour eternity in both the good part of
shield and the bad part of theshield. It's just a temporary holding place.
Okay, But but this is thisis a super important distinction. And
yeah again, Terry, my gosh, Bravo just hit the nail on the
head. The difference between these twoguys is one is anticipating the Messiah,

(32:22):
loves the Messiah. That's Lazarus. The other guy's not Lazarus ends up in
the good part. The rich guyends up in the bad part. You
can never cross between the two richguys, never get now there until the
day comes that he gets to hisfinal you know, destination. Right,
Yeah, I see Bill's hands onthe controls. It's got some music and

(32:42):
news. One eight seven two oneninety three one three. That's eight hundred
seven two one ninety three thirteen.Austin French up next with God is Good

(33:02):
eight hundred seven two one nine threeone three. Well to thank you guys
for being here today. To timewent by way too, Yeah, I
always like it always does. Yeah, so yeah, so I guess we
have to leave off here, butwhen we come back for our next show,
when we'll get that in a second. Yeah, we're gonna we're going
to continue with this. We wantto see, you know, more of

(33:23):
what Jesus, Jesus tells us aboutShield, more of what the Bible tells
us, what the purpose of itis, what happened to yes, and
way more to the point, what'sgoing on in Shield today? Okay,
the good part and the bad partand what that all means ultimately for again
God's destiny and plan for the Jewishpeople. So we're going to get into

(33:44):
some crazy stuff, so you haveto it's going to be exciting. Bluck
of your seatbelts. But that's notgoing to be for how long, oh,
terry gosh, we got to takea little over a month. We're
not gonna be back till July nineteenth. Everybody has the nineteenth or seventeenth seventeenth,
nineteenth. But but audience, thisis for an amazing reason. It's
because our very own John and Terryare going over for two weeks, yes,

(34:06):
to Zambia. Justifications. This isgoing over to uh talk to them
about celebrate recovery and also do somemission work over there. We're going to
be going into the schools and evangelismwith Pastor Chad from church here in Mike

(34:28):
from New Life Church. Yes,he's going to do so. Really when
we come back on July nineteenth,an apologies audience that we're going to be
gone for you know, a fewweeks here, but we're gonna we're going
to start off maybe even the wholeshow. We're going to hear from John
and Terry about that trip to Zambiaand what they accomplished, what God accomplished
there. Maybe we can even talkMike in the coming down on Friday morning,
really cool, or even Pastor Chador Pastor Chats. Yeah, so

(34:52):
yeah, we could talk about therapture with him. So yeah, yeah,
that wouldn't that be like eye opening? So so in the meantime,
yeah, so again, thank youto Farron and Debbie for allowing us to
do the show and uh it,you know, just great blessings to them.

And there's something on the back tothe logo logo. Yeah, it's
really Yeah, it's got a crossand the start of David top of the
