Speaker 1 (00:13):
Thank you for joining us again today on our podcast
here on Morning Moments for Jesus. The Lord takes us
this morning too and reminds us the importance of reaching
the world for Jesus Christ. In Matthew chapter twenty eight
and verse number nineteen, it says, go, ye therefore, and
teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
(00:38):
And today, as we dive into what I think is
one of the most uplifting and transforming verses in the Bible,
we explore these verses and what we'll discover is the
call to action for all believers, not just preachers and
pastors and missionaries and evangelists, but everyone who is a believer.
It falls under this command go and to teach the
(01:02):
world about Jesus Christ, because he says, go therefore and
make disciples. This powerful command known as the Great Commission.
To a lot of people, it's not just a suggestion.
It's an invitation, a commanding invitation to join one of
the most incredible missions of all time, and that is
(01:26):
to spread the message of Jesus Christ to every corner
of the world. And the first word always captures our attention.
It says go. This is all all about a call
to action, its movement. It's a reminder to us that
our faith is not meant to be kept to ourselves
(01:47):
or confined to the walls of our churches. Instead, it's
about stepping into the world with eager anticipation to share
the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is very simply what
Christ has done for you. The word go implies movement
(02:07):
to move into places not just in the world, but
into our own communities and workforce and workplaces. We are
called to not only be the light of the world,
we are called to impact people's lives with the good
message that Jesus Christ cannot only save your soul to
take you to heaven, but he can change your life.
(02:31):
And each and every day can be a wonderful, wonderful
journey as you walk with Him and talk with him
and feel his presence in everything that you do. He
not only calls us to go and tell people, he
says to make disciples, which is basically a student of
the Master, which is Jesus Christ, the Lord. Making disciples
(02:57):
means forming relationships and nurturing their faith. Walking alongside each
other in our spiritual journeys in life. We need each
other to walk beside each other. It's not just about
converting people, it's about inviting them into a loving family
(03:17):
where they can grow and thrive in their relationship with
Jesus Christ and other believers. I want you to think
about the joy of seeing someone blooming their faith. I've
had the opportunity over the years to see some people
who went from not believing in God at all, not
believing in Jesus Christ as his only begotten son, to
(03:40):
becoming dinamic servants for the Lord. Jesus Christ. And their
testimonies are powerful simply because not just simply because they
chose to get saved, but because they chose to surrender
their lives to the Lord. That's discipleship. They discovered their purpose,
and we can just discover all All of us can
(04:01):
discover our purpose and experience God's love firsthand in our lives.
Perhaps it's about doing for others what someone took the
time to do for you. He says, go, Then he says,
make disciples. But then he tells us that there is
(04:22):
no limit to the sphere of our influence, because he says,
teach it to all nations. This is a reminder that
God's love and message knows no boundaries. Every culture, every country,
every individual has equal value in God's eyes, and as
we reach out to share the gospel, we're not just
(04:44):
spreading a message. We're celebrating diversity of God's creation. Each
nation has its own unique story and we get to
be a part of this incredible picture of faith that
spans across the globe in this age. It doesn't always
mean we have to hop on a plane and go
(05:04):
to a far off land. Sometimes it means reaching out
to your neighbor, your co worker, your friend. Could be
sharing a kind word, or offering supporter, or simply living
out your faith with purpose. Each and every day, we
have had the privilege here during our morning moments with
Jesus' devotion time that we have Monday through Friday, we
(05:27):
have had the privilege of sharing God's word through this
podcast to thousands of people in at least thirty four
countries around the world. We welcome each and every one
to our podcast, and we welcome each and every one
to the family of God that only comes through Jesus
(05:48):
Christ the Lord. Today I always tell you to be safe,
be strong, and be blessed. But today I want you
to know a very simple truth. I use it often.
Building a better life always starts with building a better you.
(06:09):
And building a better you can never be done unless
it's built on Jesus Christ, the Lord. So today go
into all the world and teach and preach the Gospel
of Jesus Christ simply through the way you live. And
(06:29):
watch how many people watch you live out your faith. Today,
pray you have a great day, and Lord's will will
see you back here again tomorrow
