gonna do a whole lot of beatingaround the bush on this one. This

(01:07):
is part two of changing the narrative, and this time we're gonna talk about
changing the narrative of her success. So I said part two, which means
there is a part one. Soif you haven't already tuned to part one,
then you need to go back tothe last entry, start there,
and then come back to this one. So happy Sunday you guys. If
you're listening to this on the daythat drop, which is self care Sunday,

I hope you guys are doing somethingfor yourself. I hope you're loving
on yourself. I hope that youare just feeling really good today. I
hope that you are taking care ofyourself, getting a good wash, a
good hair day. For me,Sunday is usually my hair day, so
I always do a very thorough washday routine with I mean starting from the

(01:59):
tangling pre pooh all the way downto the deep condition and then I gotta
twist that thing up. So yeah, it's the whole thing. I have
to like prepare. I gotta getmy tea together, I gotta get all
of the things, and yeah,it's a whole day. So whatever you
guys like to do for self careSunday, I hope that you partake and
I hope that you enjoy it andget your mind right getting ready for this

(02:21):
week that we're getting ready to start. And yeah, I hope everybody has
a successful week. So let's moveforward. Let's talk about changing the narrative
of our success, right, becauseI think that for a lot of us,
we want to achieve success, right, that's what we want to do.

(02:44):
We want to achieve success and wewant to get there. And the
thing about it is a lot oftimes we want to get there and we
want to get there quick, fastand hurry, and we can't always do
that. But let's back up.Let's back up to the quote that I
gave you. So this is aquote that I learned in this book that
I'm reading, and the book.I'll tell you guys about the book in
a second. But the quote thatwas within the book is by Khalil uh

(03:10):
Jabron or Gebron. I might besaying it wrong, I don't know,
but the quote again says, whenyou are born, your work is placed
in your heart. So what isyour work? Your purpose? Are you
living it out the way your hearturges you to? So when I stumbled

(03:32):
across that, I immediately thought aboutthe fact that I was going to be
talking about success, right, andhow for me, I'm I feel like
we should be connecting our success withliving out our life's purpose. Not necessarily
the money that we make, thehomes that we live in, the cars

(03:52):
that we drive, the number ofdigits in the bank account. Those things
are all granted the results of success, yes, But I really feel like
we need to look at success alittle bit differently. And so this book,
let me tell you guys about thisbook. So the book is it's

(04:15):
by doctor Wayne Dyers and it isthe Ten Secrets for Success and Inner Piece.
So I'm currently reading this and I'mtaking my time with it, and
it's not a hard read. Thebook isn't that big at all. But
and I think there's only like onehundred and fifty some odd pages in the

(04:35):
book, and he breaks the bookdown in ten secrets, right, And
so I'm really taking my time withgoing through the different secrets, and I'm
really like trying to pick apart thegems because he's dropping some gems in this
book. I actually put this andtalked about it on my stories on my
social media. But so he talksabout something and it just made me really

(05:04):
think, like, Okay, hetalked about how we all were born on
this earth at a very specific time, right, and he talks about how
we're going to die at a veryspecific time. In other words, everything
was destiny. Everything was supposed tobe the way that it was supposed to
be. We came here at aparticular time for a very particular reason,

(05:29):
and we're going to leave here atthe time that we're supposed to leave here.
And so he is talking about howyou He says, don't die with
your music still in you. AndI thought that was beautiful. I thought
that was so beautiful because he's talkingabout like, you know, like you
have something to share with people, and you need to get it out of

(05:54):
you. You need to really likehone in on what it is that you
feel your purpose is what you're passionateabout, because for like, I feel
like that's the real success when youcan really and he even he even talks
about he was like, whatever itis that you're passionate about. He was
like, I almost guarantee you thatyou'll be able to create some type of

(06:16):
service from it and make a livingof it. He's like, he's he
says that in the book. He'slike, I guarantee you'll be able to
whatever it is that you're really passionateabout. But this can't just be something
that you know that you just liketo do. You have to really be
passionate about it, which means youcan see yourself doing this thing without even
making any money from it, right, that's passion. If you're not really

(06:40):
you know, you're not making anything. It's it's it's just something that you
really love to do. It's somethingthat comes out of your heart. It's
something that you feel, it's somethingthat you put effort and energy and time
and creativity and thought into. Sothese are the things that that that you
would be considered to be passionate about. And there is something very specific to

(07:04):
you, something very specific for me. So let's just talk about me since
I'm on the I mean, I'mon the platform. What I mean while
I'm here, So my like forme writing and sharing my words and my
thoughts and doing that in the mostcreative way that I possibly can. That

(07:25):
is what is That's what I've beenpassionate about. I've been writing and blogging
for years, and I mean foryears, and I have not always attempted
to try to monetize it. Ijust very recently try to actually really go
into monetizing aside for me, youknow, writing and getting ready to publish

(07:47):
and things like that. But upuntil this point, writing was just something
that I just wanted to do andfor like for a lot of us.
You know, we're in this dayand age right now where we're seeing we're
in the time of the content creator, right so everybody's creating content. Everybody's
trying to build up some sort ofplatform. And you can tell just by

(08:09):
looking at a person's platform and whatthey create that they're passionate about what they
do. You can tell by theamount of effort and time and creativity and
thought and aesthetics that they put intothe content that they're creating. You can
tell that they're like passionate about it. Right. You can tell that something
that they are taking serious. Youcan tell that it is something that they

(08:31):
are doing. They're not just tryingto put anything together. They're really actually
taking their time to think of somethingthat is going to fit for whatever it
is they're trying to do in thatmoment. Right. So that's what he
was talking about in the book.He was talking about how you're going to
be passionate about it and you're goingto be able to make a living from

(08:54):
it. Right, So think aboutcontent creation, right, people are actually
have come to the point where theyare able to quit their jobs and they
are doing content creation full time andthis is something that they are passionate about
doing. So it makes perfect sense. I feel like when we talk about

(09:18):
success and we talk about like themeasure of it, I feel like it's
gonna look different to everybody is goingto be. It's it just can't be
the same. And we really,y'all, we really have to get out
of the phase and the habit, the bad habit of looking at others and
seeing what others have and the pacethat other people are going and the things

(09:41):
that other people are doing, andlooking at that and measuring it up against
what we're doing, where we're at, how far we've come, what we've
accomplished, and measuring that as thesuccess we should have, because that's not
going to be the case. It'snot gonna look like what somebody else my
success is it going to look likewhat someone else's success means. And I

(10:03):
mean that in the most very specificway because obviously, like, yeah,
two people can have the same amountof money in their bank account, right,
but that doesn't mean that they gotthere the same way. Doesn't mean
that they accumulated this money in thesame way, right, Because you can
have somebody that is working a nineto five and at the end of the

(10:24):
year they've made one hundred thousand dollarsor two hundred thousand dollars or whatever,
and they did this at the expenseof them working at a job that they
absolutely hate that is, they haveno work life balance, They are tired,
they are drained, they are justin a toxic environment, and they

(10:50):
at the end of the year, their salary was this one hundred and fifty
thousand dollars or whatever, and that'swhat's in their bank account, right,
And you can go and you canlook at the content creator who is creating
the things that she loves to createand is really able to build a platform

(11:13):
that is esthetically pleasing and that isreaching the eyes of these big brands,
and she's getting these payouts and she'shitting these big brand deals and at the
end of the year she's made onehundred thousand dollars too. Well, who
would you consider to be more successfulThe content creator who made one hundred and
fifty thousand dollars at the end ofthe year doing something that she loves,

(11:35):
She has fun, she had freedomto create whatever she wanted to create,
and she made the one hundred andfifty thousand dollars. Or the employee that
works at this company that's been aroundfor years and years and years and made
one hundred and fifty thousand dollars andis stressed out, tired, complaining,

(11:56):
going to happy hour every day afterwork is aggravated all the time, is
overworked and got the same one hundredand fifty thousand dollars. Who's more successful?
Who is more successful? It's it'sgonna be the person who's giddy who's
being more fulfilled, right, Becausewe want happiness in this lifetime. We

(12:18):
want happiness. We want to befulfilled with things that bring us joy.
We want to be fulfilled with thingsthat that we're free to do. If
we want to have the freedom tocreate as a creative, like that's what
brings joy when you're able to goin and you're able to do something.
So that same content creator that youknow was able to build up her own

(12:41):
platform the way that she wanted tobuild it up, and then was able
to bring in the deals that paidher what her platform was worth, paid
her her worth. She was ableto say yes, I'll accept this or
no, I want and accept this, versus the employee who has no other

(13:03):
choice but to follow by the policy. Show up at this time, clock
out at this time, over time, if overtime is allowed, If no
overtime is allowed, there is noovertime, you may or may not be
able to take this pt like youknow what I mean, Like who's more
successful? So I really just feelit, and and and again this is
connected to the passion, This isconnected to the purpose. So I want

(13:28):
to talk about changing the narrative forour success and for and and I basically
want to get you, guys,to understand and to see that you are
able to do this by looking atwhat you're already doing and where you are
right now, exactly where you areright now, and think about where you
want to go, what else youwant to do, what would what would

(13:52):
bring you the most happiness, whatwould fulfill you? Figuring those things out,
being very clear and intentional about reflectingon those things and figuring them out
for exactly what they are, andusing those using that information that you've gathered

(14:13):
from that time that you reflected onit, using that information to figure out
what your next steps are. Ifyou have done things a certain type of
way and the results are not yieldingwhat you would like for them to yield,
then it's not a successful plan andwe need to go back to the
drawing board. We need to figuresomething else out right, We need to
do something else different because we wantto bring the success that we want to

(14:37):
bring. We want success to bewhat we define success as, not what
success is defined as for the nextperson, or what we see on social
media as what success is, orwhat we hear on these podcasts is what
they say success is supposed to looklike. No, what does success look
like to you? What is successis going to feel like? Success should

(15:01):
be something that you feel, notonly is it just something that's tangible that
you could lose. And by loseI mean things that can be taken away
from you. Right Like, youthink you're successful because you're able to,
you know, purchase this bag,but that bag can be taken from you,
that bag can be damaged, thatbag can be lost at any given

(15:24):
time. Right. So I'm talkingabout the success in terms of you feel
the success, the success is makingyou happy. These are the things that
we're looking for and these are thethings that I want you to really reflect
on. So in terms of talkingabout how we acquire our success, we

(15:50):
have to look at what we're doingagain, we have to look at what
we've been doing and where exactly weare right now, and then we got
to think about like, Okay,I probably need to change up some of
the things that I'm doing right,Because if you want different results, you
gotta start doing something different. Solet's talk about our habits. Let's talk
about the daily habits that we have, the weekly habits or how whatever.

(16:14):
But let's just talk about some ofthe things that we're doing on a regular
basis that are going to contribute tous being successful. Right. So for
starters, y'all, like I said, mindset, y'all are gonna hear me
talk a lot about mindset on onthis on this podcast. But the mindset,
it starts there. It always startsthere. Anything that we're trying to

(16:37):
do, no matter what I'm nomatter what I say that very clearly and
confidently, no matter what it isthat you're trying to do, mindset is
always gonna be the first stop onthis journey. We gotta get that right,
we gotta get that adjusted, Wegotta get we gotta make sure that
that's where it needs to be beforewe do anything. So we adjust the

(17:00):
mindset to say, Okay, we'retrying to acquire some success. This this
is the frame of mind we needto be in. Right, So we're
gonna start there. We're gonna startwith adjusting our mindset for the better and
then once you adjust the mindset, then everything else kind of feeds off of
that. It's like a domino effect, right, because then you're gonna start

(17:21):
doing things when you said it inyour mind, Okay, I want to
change things. I need more,I need more success, I need to
be happier, I need to acquiremore things. I'm gonna start now.
I'm gonna start here. This iswhat I'm gonna do, to be intentional
about it. Once you start doingthat, then you're gonna start doing things
like you're gonna start waking up earlier, right because you know that if you

(17:42):
want to be successful at this bodythat you want, but if you know
that, like the routine and theschedule that you've been on so far isn't
really allowing you are giving or it'snot allowing you to fit in the energy
that you need to be able towork on whatever this successful body looks like.

(18:04):
Right, Because you're getting up atthe time that you know where you
do. You only have enough timeto get yourself ready, to get yourself
and the kids ready, or whateverthe case may be, and then you
got to start work. And thenwhen you work in all day long,
eight hours or whatever it is,that you do for work, and then
by the time you get off,you know, if you have kids,
you gotta attend to the kids. You gotta get the dinner ready, you

(18:25):
gotta get them ready for their nextday, or if you don't have kids
or you have grown kids. Butthe time you get off, sometimes you're
just too tired because you worked allday and you're not like you're just not
feeling it right. So then youmove into like, like, what am
I gonna do for like the nextlike thirty days, the next sixty days?

(18:52):
Right your mindset, When you changeyour mindset, that's where you need
to start thinking. You need tostart, Okay, I need to do
something a little bit different, andI really want to work on my body.
I really want to be able toget in better shape. What am
I gonna do for the next thirtydays to be able to help me to
do that? So you might startwaking. You might wake up earlier than
what you normally wake up. Soif you normally don't get up until seven

(19:15):
o'clock, maybe you're gonna attempt totry to get up at six o'clock at
least set the alarm clock and seewhat happens. Like at least set the
alarm and just try and see ifyou get up, because then if you
get up the first day and thenyou do it the second day, it
will become a habit if you allowit to become a habit. If you
just just give yourself that extra pushto go to go ahead and do it

(19:37):
right, and then get that workoutthat you're trying to incorporate into your daily
routine. Get that knocked out first, right, so you don't have to
worry about it for the rest ofthe day. You proceed on because sometimes
you only depending on what it isthat you're trying to do, you only
really need to get a good thirtyto forty five to an hour workout tops.

(19:57):
If you're doing it the right way, and you find a workout that's
good for you, that works foryou, and that targets the goals you
know, targets the areas that you'retrying to work on, you can find
something that you can knock out first, and then you proceed with your day
the same way that you normally woulddo. But guess what, You've adjusted
something, You've changed your mindset, and you've changed up a habit which is

(20:18):
getting up earlier and you've added somethingelse to your life that you weren't doing
before, and now guess what, you're gonna be successful at that? Right.
So that's one thing that you cando. Another thing that you can
do to bring the success that youwant in your life is to practice gratitude,

(20:45):
right, Like, That's an energything, and I want you to
really take that serious. Be gratefulfor where you are at at this time.
Be grateful for that, even ifit isn't the best place. I
always like to like when you thinkabout things, I always try to think

(21:06):
about it in a sense that thingscould always be worse, right, things
could always be worse. So justbe grateful, right, and be grateful
that you are in a position rightnow to where you are aware of what
you want, You are aware ofwhat you need, You're aware of what
you want to do, and begrateful for the ability to adjust the mindset

(21:30):
to move forward to it. Right. Be grateful for the discipline that you
have to not be doing some ofthe things that you could be doing that
will prevent you from acquiring that success, right because there's a lot of there's
a lot of shit you could bedoing to keep you from gaining that success.

(21:51):
Right, you could be out herejust running a munk in these streets
and not focusing on the goals andthe task at hand, which is to
to bring in the success. Sobe grateful for that. Be grateful for
all of the knowledge that you've gainedso far. Be grateful for the skills
that you've learned at the job thatyou're at that you're trying to maybe not

(22:14):
have to work at for the nextten twenty thirty years. Be grateful for
the skills that you've acquired that you'regoing to be able to take with you
when you build your own business.Right. So, even so, find
always find the silver line and findthe good. It's mindset. It is
one hundred percent always gonna be themindset. Right. So we're waking up

(22:41):
early, we're practicing gratitude. We'regoing to talk about like who we're surrounding
ourselves with. Right, So,in order to want to bring that uh

(23:03):
success into our life, like Ifeel like we should be, we should
be kind of trying to surround ourselveswith it, right, we should be.
We should hang around like minded people, which means you may have to
and I probably will touch on thisa little bit in part three when we
talk about changing the narrative of ourrelationships. But I'm not gonna go too
so I'm not gonna go too farin it. But yeah, like we

(23:26):
should be surrounding ourselves with like mindedpeople and even who we're following, like
on social media, we should befollowing and trying to connect the network with
the people that not that we're tryingto mimic their success, but that we
look at them and we see thatwhat they're displaying. And let me let

(23:49):
me just say this, be verycareful about how you are manifesting these connections
into your life because everything that yousee isn't exact always what you see right.
Things things are Sometimes people are onlygonna show the good, right,
So just make sure that you aresurrounding yourself with what you feel like should

(24:12):
be the best. You know, use your intuition. And if you know
there's people in your life, likereal life people, not people that you
follow on social media, but youknow that there's people in your life that
are preventing you from living the orthe like, that are preventing you from
acquiring the success. Like they havebad habits, and you fall into those

(24:34):
bad habits when you're with these people, These are the things you need to
be mindful of because this is whereyou need to kind of change the narrative.
Meaning you're not gonna want to spendas much time with these people if
they're not adding the value, theextra value that you need to gain that

(24:56):
the success or at least get onthe path to gaining the success that you
want. And you'll know this bytheir own habits. What are they doing,
Like, come on, this isthis is simple. This is really
simple. But I just feel likeif we start to pay attention to those
types of things and become more awareof just like just what we want in

(25:19):
general, it's it's gonna it's gonnastart becoming to where you can't even avoid
it. It's like, yeah, this doesn't even feel right. If things
are not gonna feel the same anymore, you're gonna wanna do something different because
it's just not even gonna feel right. And that's how you know. That
is how you know where you areon the right path. Right, So

(25:41):
you want to and and and peoplethat are negative, people that are always
negative, always complaining, people whoare just extremely uh pessimistic all the time.
These are the people that you don'twant to consistently surround yourself with You

(26:07):
want to surround yourself with people thatare optimistic, people that think that,
you know, with the right tools, with the right plan or the right
connections, anything is possible these Andif you don't have anybody like that in
your life, listen, you needto use these networking platforms for what you
should be using them for. Youshouldn't just be using these social media platforms

(26:27):
to see what's going on with yourcelebrities. You should be using them to
be trying to connect with people thatare like minded, connect with people that
you see as connections. I'm tellingyou right now. On my social media
platforms, one in particular, likeI have begun to like when I first
got on it, you know, like I was following all these different celebrities

(26:49):
and I was just kind of like, why am I follow Like That's not
what I want to use this toolfor? Right, Like, yeah,
you know, could be following allof these singers or you know whatever.
But at the end of the day, singing ain't that ain't my ministry.
So I don't need to sit hereand try to follow the the life and

(27:12):
the lifestyle and see what this particularsinger is posting on her TikTok or her
Instagram, because that's not gonna helpme. That's not gonna help me at
all. I need to be tryingto find some entrepreneurs, some content creators,
some some some brand builders who aredoing something. You know, I

(27:34):
see they're following, I see theaesthetic of what they're doing. I see
like you know, they're dropping thelike I this is what we need to
be filling our feet up with.We need to be filling our feet up
with realistic you know, like thelike realistic connections and people that inspire us

(27:59):
and motivate us and push us,whether they know they're pushing us or not.
So yeah, you can't be aroundyou can't like just be connected to
people who don't see the vision. And remember that everybody isn't going to be
able to see your vision and they'renot supposed to, and honestly, you

(28:19):
shouldn't even be sharing the whole visionwith everybody, right, be very mindful
and careful about that. But peoplewho can see the vision or make sense
of the vision, these are thepeople that are optimistic, and these are
the people that you need to stayconnected to so that is another that's another

(28:44):
way to attempt to change the narrativefor the success that you have in your
life. Another thing that I wasreading an article in terms of building success
and acquiring success, and it's saidthat you should pick out three goals,
three goals that you prioritize daily. So three things that you know will at

(29:14):
some point, even if it's ina very micro way, but three things
to prioritize daily that lead or areconnected to the success that you want,
whatever that is. Like I said, everybody's ideal or everybody's goal for success
is going to be different, butwhatever yours is, there are three things
that you should be doing every singleday that are in connection to whatever that

(29:37):
success is. And you're going topractice doing this those three things every day.
These are priorities. The same wayyour skincare routine is a priority,
the same way you've shown up forwork is a priority. The same way
you making sure you hop on thisconference call, you go to this doctor's
appointment, you go to the gym. All these priorities and things that you

(30:00):
make sure that you are going todo for the day. The three the
three goals that you have, makethose priority too. Whatever they are if
in any way they are connected tothe success that you want, make sure
that you are prioritizing them for yourdaily plan. So like like we were

(30:21):
just talking about, you know, become a physically fit. If you know
that this is something that you wantto do and you have an end goal,
you have a time frame, youhave something that you want to do
for yourself, like make make showingup at the gym or make doing a
home workout, make that one ofone of your priorities. Like there's no

(30:45):
sacrificing it. It has to getdone the same like it has to just
like you when you have a dnistappointment and you know that you have to
show up for that dentist appointment. These three goals make it. And again,
like I can never say this enough. If you like, don't get
into the space where you start usingthat it doesn't necessarily have to get done

(31:11):
that type of mindset, because that'snot gonna get you closer to your success.
That I'm gonna be real transparent withyou, like that is where I
had failed in the past, whereI let the things that I wanted to
do, my dreams and things Ilet that Like it was like, well,
this isn't bringing in money, Thisisn't paying my bills. So it's

(31:33):
like, eh, I don't youknow, I gotta do what's gonna pay
the bills, which is like I'mgonna show up for work. But I
didn't make the time to fit inmy writing at least trying to get a
chapter done or get a blog posted. I wasn't fitting that in and I
wasn't making it a priority because Ididn't look at it as that. I

(31:56):
just looked at it as something thatI have an option to do. We
don't want the option, right,We don't want the option we want we
want to get it done. Sohopefully y'all are still with me, I'm
gonna wrap this up real soon.So we've talked about We've talked about choosing
the three goals to prioritize every singleday. We talked about surrounding yourself with

(32:21):
the most optimistic and goal inspiring peoplethat we can find. And we talked
about getting up earlier right because andthink about it to connect those when you
when you when you get up earlierin the day, then, like I
said, that's when you have timeto fit those three those three things that
we're gonna prioritize from this day.Fourth, the earlier you get up,

(32:44):
the more time you make sure thatyou have to fit those things in.
Who says your day can't start atfive o'clock. Who says your day can't
start at at six o'clock? Sorryy'all. Who says the day can't start
at six a Who says the dayhas to start right before you get like

(33:07):
you get ready to go to work. A lot of you know what,
some of the most successful people inthe world, they are up. They're
up, they're up, and they'restarting their day and they're getting their day
done. So that that's another thingand uh, penciling, penciling in your

(33:30):
time to relax. So this issomething that make sure that even though we're
trying to accomplish goals and we havecertain things that we want to do,
make sure that we're still finding theme time that we need, We're still

(33:57):
getting the rest that we need,We're still making sure that we're not about
to lean into burnout, we're notoverdoing it, we're not pushing ourselves too
far. You still got to takecare of yourself. You're trying to still
you know, that's still a bigpart of anything that you want to accomplish,

(34:22):
making sure you're taking care of yourself, pouring into yourself, making sure
you're not trying to pour it froman empty cup, making sure you're taking
that time to replenish and feel yourselfback up however you however that looks.
Rest is a big thing. Alot of times when we have these businesses
and we're on the goal and we'rejust trying to like get things in like
go go, go, go go, we're lacking in that. We're not

(34:45):
you know, we're not prioritizing theself care. So make sure that you're
adding that in. And that canalso be one of the three things that
we're gonna that we're gonna make surethat we prioritize from this day four that
maybe that might be one of thethree. Right. So, another thing

(35:10):
that I think that we can doto help us with the success that we
want and change in the narrative fromlack of success to more success is keeping
our spaces that we're actually trying towork in and that we're actually trying to
build and create in. Make surethat we are keeping these spaces organized,

(35:40):
We're keeping the clutter out of thesespaces, right, because it gets to
be chaotic and we want clear heartsand clear minds and clear spaces. And
I promise you, I promise you. I live by this. I swear
by this when you and I've talkedabout this before, when you clear out

(36:05):
that clutter, I don't in yourworkspace, your home, your closets just
getting When you start getting rid ofstuff and you start clearing out clutter,
there is something that mentally happens. There is a shift, y'all. There
is a shift that happens when youstart clearing out clutter. And I feel
it. I've felt it before.I live by this. I believe it.

(36:29):
I don't know what it is.I don't know why it feels like
that, but it just changes things. It changes things the space that you
occupy the most, like if you'rehome at if you do a lot of
the things that you're doing, ifyou work from home, you create from
home, like whatever. When youstart clearing out things that you no longer

(36:51):
need in this home and in thisworkspace, it's office space, whatever it
is, when you start clearing thatout, it is like a weight lifted
out of it. It's like youcan feel the space and the flow of
where the creativity can go, wherethe you know, where the building can
go, you can feel it.So keep your spaces the way you want

(37:22):
your mind to feel, because thisis this like, this is where you're
gonna be at. So you seehow that makes sense? You like you,
this is where you're gonna be.So you need to make sure you
the space feels the way you needyour mind to be, because how are
you gonna think and create and comeup with these new bomb ass ideas?
If you got so much going onin your mind, and I promise you

(37:45):
nine times out of tence, yougot all this stuff going on in your
mind, you probably got a lotof clutter and stuff around you too,
Or you could probably reorganize even youknow, change up the energy, the
flow of the energy, even ifyou don't have a clutter in this space
that you're at, change move thingsaround. One thing I can remember about

(38:06):
my childhood with my mom is mymom was always moving furniture around. She
was always changing up the way herbedroom looked, the way the living room
looked. She was always readjusting. And then we started, as we got
older, we started getting in thehabit of doing that in our own bedrooms
we would change the way that wherethe bed was, where the dresser was,

(38:29):
or whatever. We would just change. After we would clean up for
the day, we would just changeand it always felt different. I can
remember when she used to like changethe living room around and it would just
be clean in there, and itwould be organized, and all the clutter
from the week before it was gone, and the furniture was moved and she
vacuumed under this, and she likeat once everything was changed around in the

(38:50):
living room. When you went inthere, it felt it just felt different.
You could feel the energy shift. You could just feel it. I
know y'all know what I'm talking about. I cannot be the only one that
that knows what I'm talking about, that knows this feeling. And so to
this day, that is how Iam. I've always gotten gotten into the
habit where it's like I feel likeI want to be moving stuff around,

(39:13):
and then I feel something different, and I'm constantly getting rid of things.
I'm constantly like donating things and justgetting stuff out of my house. Just
get it out of here. Idon't even need it, not even trying
to sell it. And as muchstuff as I've given away over the years.
Do y'all know how much money Icould have made from that? So

(39:34):
do y'all know how much money Icould have made from the stuff that I've
given away? But it was justlike like let it go, Just let
it go. That's what I wastrying to do, Just get it out,
and I felt better doing it.So these are some of the things,
y'all. I just wanted to talkabout to get us to start thinking
about what it feels like and whatit looks like to try to get on
the path to the things that weuh want in our life to be successful.

(39:58):
At this book that I was tellingyou all about, I really want
you guys to check out the bookagain. It's just the Ten Secrets for
Success and enter piece by doctor WayneDyers. But he was talking about the
use of the left brain and theright brain and how the use of the
left brain is where it's more analytical, where you're just thinking about everything and

(40:20):
you're just trying to figure things out. But the right side of the brain
is where you feel. The rightside of the brain is the intuition.
The right side of the brain isthe side that we think on when we
are creating and when we are tryingto be inspired. And when we feel
something and we're passionate about it,that's the right side of the brain,

(40:42):
the right side. Remember that. But just remember that there's something, there's
some thing in you, and youcan be successful at anything that you want

(41:07):
to be successful at. And it'sgonna take some time, it's gonna take
some patience. That's all necessary. But you're able to You're able to get
these things. But you also haveto be consistent, you have to be
realistic. But when you're passionate aboutsomething, those things are kind of like

(41:31):
the ad the free add ons. They come with it anyway, when you're
really passionate about it. And thenif you're not really feeling it, then
maybe you're not really as passionate aboutthat particular thing as you thought you were.
You might not be as passionate aboutdoing a makeup artistry as you are

(41:52):
when it comes to acting, oryou know what I mean, You're just
you know, if you know, you're really good at doing makeup and you
can like beat that face down, but you've always dreamt about being an actress
and you're you know, you're makingthe money, you're doing the makeup,
but guess what does it feel thesame way? Does it feel the same

(42:15):
way, Because when you get upthere on that stage or when you go
to those auditions, you're gonna putyou're gonna put everything in you into that.
And I'm not saying that you're notgonna put, you know, effort
into doing makeup. But it's justdifferent. It's not the same, it

(42:37):
doesn't feel the same. Don't letso much time pass by where you're not
thinking about the things that you wantto do. You have to. You
have to. And another thing thatcomes with that is that you you have

(43:00):
to you have to be willing totake the risk. And this is a
touchy This is not touchy, butthis is a this particular topic when we're
talking about taking the risk. Forme, this has been a struggle for
me too, taking the risk.I'm not always a risk taker. I'm

(43:22):
very much a let me be inmy comfort zone type of girl, right,
because that's just Hey, that's justwhat I've been used to, that's
what I know. Right. Wecan maneuver, we can close our eyes,
put a blind photo on, spindaround three times, but we can

(43:45):
still maneuver in our comfort zones. After we did all of that, right,
because it's our comfort zones. Weknow it. We reside there,
we live there, we spend mostof our time there in the comfort zone.
But then how was anything gonna popoff there if we just stay there?

(44:07):
We have to be willing to takethese risks. And the author of
this book, when he was talkingabout in this particular chapter, he was
talking about how we cannot look atfailures as as a thing. He's basically
telling us that, like, failureis an illusion. When something fails,

(44:30):
it's not that it's it's just theresults of something that you attempted. And
so what you should be thinking aboutfrom there is just collecting the data.
Collect the data on what didn't work. Don't think about it as oh,
this is the end all be all, be like like nah, Like,

(44:54):
okay, this shit didn't work. What did I do? I did this?
Maybe I shouldn't do this. Changeup the combination. Like that's how
you that's how you start to figurethings out. Process of elimination, y'all.

(45:16):
Like, ladies, we know thisstuff. Y'all already know this.
I'm just giving y'all the extra pushthat you need. Y'all know this,
and you're gonna be great at it. And you're gonna accomplish so much from
it. And that's what I wantto do. I want you guys to
hear this, and I want youto be inspired all over again. I
want you to know that like thesuccess that you want. If you feel

(45:39):
like you haven't been getting it oryou feel like it's been slow and coming,
let's just change the narrative of whatwe've been doing and see if we
get something else, then we canget it popping some other kind of way.
Like y'all know this, and andI just like it feels like just

(46:00):
from observing some of what I'm seeingon social media and what I'm hearing personally,
like it just feels like people arenot exactly where they want to be,
including myself. But people are notexactly where they want to be,
and they're not and so they're notclaiming the success they should be claiming based

(46:24):
off of where they're at, whenin reality, what we should be doing
is realizing that where we are rightnow it actually is success. It actually
is the result of a success. It's just we just got to look at
it a little different. We gottachange up the definition a little bit,

(46:45):
we gotta change up the mindset. But there's definitely success that can be pulled
from where we're at right now ifwe look at it the right way.
But like I said, when youfail at something or when something doesn't work,
we're gonna take that ad that isthe result of something you attempted,
and we're gonna collect the data fromit and we're gonna try the shit again.

(47:08):
That's what we're gonna do. We'regonna try it again. And this
time instead of doing A and B, let's do let's do C and D
this. You know what I mean. Like, that's that's what it's all
about. Do some things different. You want different results, you gotta do

(47:34):
things differently. That's just the realityof it. There is no way around
it. So, ladies, I'malready way. This is way longer than
I wanted to. I wanted to. I really wanted to keep these parts

(47:58):
at about thirty minutes. But soI'm gonna try my best when I slide
over here into part three, I'mgonna try my best to keep it at
thirty minutes or so. No promises, but y'all know, if you've been
listening long enough, y'all know whenI get into it, I get into
it. But yeah, so whatdid we learn from this? What are

(48:19):
we taking from this? I droppeda few gems. I hope you collected
them. Put them in your pocket, Put them in your purse, take
them with you. If it wasn'ta gym fort leave it here. Somebody
else will use it, somebody elsewill find value and it. Just take
from this what you feel like willwork, what you feel like resonates,

(48:40):
what you feel like is good.Just take those things. Take those gems
and keep them for yourself. Youdon't even got to keep them. Take
them and keep them. But figureit out and go and apply that.
Let's change the narrative for what itis that we want, what it is
that we've been doing, and let'sgo out there and let's get the things
