Memphis basketball coach Penny Hardaway guided the Tigers to a 2-0 ACC road trip over the past week.
Because of that, the team is occupying more space in the within the national landscape than perhaps it ever has under Hardaway. Memphis is 9-2 overall with seven of its wins qualifying as valuable Quad 1 and Quad 2 victories.
With still more resume'-building opportunities ahead (Mississippi State and Ole Miss bookended around Christmas), all of the Tiger's big-picture goals are as much or more within reach than they were before the season began just more than six weeks ago.
