Hopefully you are having a fantastic day. Welcome to the new listeners and big
shot out goes to my day oncey'all know who y'all are. Y'all being
rocking with me, Much love andrespect to you. So today we're going
to be talking about in the dailyHealth segment the powerful connection between work and

(01:29):
our health, unveiling the impact onwell being as well as in our news.
You know, it's that time ofyear, new laws are going into
effect and are you ready? Solet's get prepared to dive in this is

(01:56):
Daily Health and Daily Health. We'retalking about the powerful connection between work and
our health, unveiling the impact onwell being. Hey, lovely listeners,
welcome to the Daily Health segment, where we explore various topics related to our

(02:20):
overall well being and provide insight fora healthier lifestyle. Now, today we'll
be discussing the impact of work onour health and well being. Now,
we all know we have to goto work, that's just it. If
we're able bodied, we gotta getout there and get it every day or
every night, or maybe even twoor three jobs for a lot of people.

(02:45):
But what impact does that have onour body? Especially in the long
run. And I'm here to tellyou certain jobs you get will put some
things, some stress and strain onyour body that later on in life can
come back to haunt you. Soit's definitely a great idea to get your

(03:08):
financial affairs in order for retirement becauseguess what, we're gonna need it to
mend and heal and repair the body. Now, work is an essential part
of our lives and it can significantlyinfluence both our physical and mental health.
While employment provides us the financial stabilityand status we all know that workplays a

(03:35):
major role in our lives and itcan cause problems to the body. It's
where we spend a significant portion ofour time, and it's often how we
define ourselves. Have you ever thoughtabout that? Do we define ourselves based
on our career or the job thatwe do. It's a thought, right,

(03:57):
But what many of us may notrealize is just how much our work
can impact our overh overall health andwell being. Now, I'll say this,
doctors and therapists and firefighters and youknow, paramedics, they kind of
catch on a lot quicker because it'smore strenuous. Their jobs are very strenuous,

(04:23):
so it tends to kick in,you know, on them a lot
sooner. That's why a lot ofthem end up switching up jobs, careers
and things, because it does, you know, affect them, and it
shows up a lot quicker than someof the other jobs do. Now,
first of all, let's talk aboutstress. We all know stress. We've
all been there right. Work canbe a major source of stress in our

(04:46):
lives. Type deadlines, high expectations, long hours, and demanding bosses can
all contribute to increased stress levels. And we all know that chronic stress,
Yes, can have serious negative effectson our physical and mental health. That's
our well being right there. Ifour physical is broken down and our mental

(05:10):
has broken down, we're no good. So it's important for us to definitely
do self care. Now, thestress and everything from your jobs, it
can lead to issues like high bloodpressure, heart disease, anxiety, and
depression. So finding ways to manageand stress in the workplace is crucial for

(05:33):
our well being. Now, that'swhether the number one choice that we all
have is what to do at ourlunch hours as well as our break times.
Depending on how long your lunches andbreaks are, you can kind of
mix them up in what you doto relieve some of the pressure and stress,

(05:54):
you know of the day, whetherit's taking a quick walk, you
know, out of the parking lot, or if your job has a park
or a courtyard, spend those momentsoutdoors, getting a little bit of fresh
air and just doing a little lightbreathing, you know, quick meditation,
meditation bites that's like five minutes orless. So that way, you know,

(06:15):
you can use that on your breaksif you're not gonna be eating anything,
and you can even try it foryour lunch a little meditation goes a
long way, believe me, believeme, and it does help with kind
of finding a little bit of balance. So next up, let's talk about

(06:38):
work life balance. In today's fastpaced world, achieving a healthy work life
balance can feel like an elusive goal. Sometimes it takes years for people to
find it. But I'm here totry to help you find that a little
bit quicker. Because many of usfind ourselves constantly connected to work through our

(07:00):
smartphones and laptops, which is blurringthe boundaries between our personal and professional lives.
That could become a huge problem. When does the work hours end?
Are we taking work home, orwe taking them on dates, or were
taking them on vacations. If you'retaking your laptop on vacation to do some

(07:21):
work, no, no, don'tdo it. Let's try and leave personal
time personal time and work time worktime. This lack of separation can lead
to burnout, exhaustion, and adiminished sense of fulfillment in our personal lives.

(07:44):
I mean, let's be honest,if all we're doing is working twenty
four seven, seems like the onlytime you're not really working is when you're
sleeping, And heck, you mightbe having dreams about work or being on
the job, or something you didn'tdo, or whatever the case may be.
We have to definitely separate it andgive ourselves our personal space from work.

(08:09):
Professional life is professional life, Personallife is personal life. Now moreover,
the type of work we do alsoimpacts our health and well being.
Jobs that require physical labor can takea toll on our bodies, leading to
injuries and chronic pain. And onthe other hand, sedentary desk jobs can

(08:31):
contribute to a sedentary lifestyle, whichis associated with various health issues such as
obesity, cardiovascular disease, and muscularskeletal problems. I mean, if you're
a CNA, you're picking up people, you're transferring patients, you're bathing,

(08:52):
you're squatting, you're pushing, you'relifting. About the same at a warehouse,
if you're a receptionist or administrative assistant, you're just sitting there, just
sitting and sitting for so long. It's not good for circulation either. So
with all those things, we haveto find a way to kind of balance

(09:15):
it out because it does take atoll. Your back gets to hurt,
and I mean it's physical labor.You know, there's warehouse construction CNA's Home
Health like. There are so manyjobs out there where that physical labor can
kick your butt in the long run. But it's not all doom and gloom.

(09:39):
There are steps we can take tominimize the negative impact of work on
our health and well being. Itstarts with recognizing the importance of self care,
taking real breaks, practicing mindfulness, and engaging in activities we enjoy outside
of work. And these things canhelp replenish our energy and reduce stress.

(10:03):
So it's important go hang with yourgirls, have lunch, have a picnic
at the park, go to thegym, do a little walking, a
little sparring, a little lightweight training, swimming, goes to in jacuzzie for
a while, meditate for a while. I mean, whatever it is,

(10:24):
whether it's painting or fishing, whateveryour enjoyment is, that brings you peace
and comfort, and it can settleyour mind and you know, kind of
settle down the anxiety. Do thosethings. It's very important, and communication
is also key. Having an openand honest conversation with our supervisors about workload

(10:48):
boundaries and work life balance can leadto positive changes in the workplace. Sometimes
simply asking for a support or flexibilitycan make a huge much difference in our
overall well being and we can alluse this, we need this. And
if your company is not willing tomake any healthy changes for their employees,

(11:13):
it may be time to find anotherjob and space. Who does Some jobs
have particular spaces just for relaxation fortheir employees, so that's something to think
about also. And lastly, investingin our personal growth and development can help

(11:37):
us find meaningful and fulfillment in ourwork. By pursuing opportunities to learn and
grow, we can feel more engagedand satisfied, which in turn positively impacts
our mental health, which is alwaysa good thing. Right. Well,
that's it for this segment. Ihope you found this discussion on how work

(12:01):
impacts our health and well being helpful. Remember, taking care of ourselves is
not just a luxury, it's anecessity. So until the next daily Health,
stay healthy, happy and shining Newsreport, Current events, issues and

(12:31):
the lines. This is your newsreport. Now, welcome back to our
news segment, and we're here tokeep you informed about the latest news and
events happening around the world. Andtoday we're diving into the future as we
discuss the new laws set to gointo effect in twenty twenty three, strapping

(12:56):
in because it's gonna be a wildride. So new laws, how often
do we actually think about these things? How often do we actually take a
look at you know, what's goinginto effect that could affect everyone? Right
well, our first situation takes placeonline. Now it takes us to the

(13:22):
realm of technology. Now we allknow about AI at this point, like
everything, there's some AI app forit, and so many businesses are using
it, hospitals are using it,like some of all industries are beginning to
use AI. So I can kindof understand why we might be looking at

(13:48):
new laws going into effect for AI, because we have good and bad and
everything right well, starting next year, well this year, new laws will
be implemented to ensh ethical and responsibleAI usage. HM. Ethical and responsible
AI usage sounds good cause, likeI said, there's always good and bad

(14:11):
in everything. There's gonna be somebad people that's gonna try to use something
good for bad. Now, theselaws aim to address concerns about biased,
privacy and accountability in AI systems. It is a crucial step in our journey
towards creating technology that benefits us all. HM So we got that one,

(14:33):
and now let's turn our attention tothe world of transportation. Now, as
of twenty twenty three, numerous countrieswill introduce stricter regulations for electrical vehicles evs
for short, in an effort tocombat climate change and encourage sustainabilit Sustainable transportation.

(14:54):
Governments are mandating higher EVY adoption ratesand investing in a robust charging infrastructure.
Okay, more electric vehicles. They'regonna need more charging stations like everywhere.
Now, these changes will not onlyreduce greenhouse gas emissions but also work

(15:20):
toward building a greener future for generationsto come. Okay, that sounds good,
No fuss there, and we're movingon because we can't ignore the evolving
landscape of social media. Now,starting this year, various countries are taking
steps to regulate online platforms and protectuser data and privacy. Now on that

(15:45):
we've experienced so many breaches the lastfew years that it's almost normal at this
point, So it seems like they'rerunning a little late trying to do this,
but at least they're trying to doit right. New legislation aims to
increase transparency about data collection practices andhold tech giants accountable for their handling of

(16:08):
sensitive information. It's a significant movetoward restoring trust in the digital realm and
safeguarding our personal information. Cause Idon't know about you, but some some
stuff I'm just leary of because ofthat very thing. You have so many
companies that are gathering information that arenot letting us know that they're gathering information

(16:33):
and what they're doing with the information. Sometimes it's sold. Let's be honest,
our information gets sold. Your name, your phone number, your address,
where you was born, where youwere I mean, whatever information they
have access to, they can getit and they can sell it to third
parties, and then third parties use'em and then sell'em and it just

(16:56):
keeps going. So it is agood thing that legislation would be coming down
to try to help with safeguarding ourpersonal information. Kudos there. I'm a
little frustrated because it's a little late. I don't know about you all,
So y'all let me know how y'allfeel about that. Now. Shifting gears

(17:17):
to the world of finance, getready for some changes in the banking sector,
because beginning next year, many countrieswill introduce laws aimed at regulating decentralized
finance or DeFi for short, andcryptocurrency. As these innovative financial technologies continue

(17:38):
to disrupt traditional systems, governments areseeking to strike a balance between innovation and
stability. It's a crucial step inensuring the long term growth and security of
the financial industry. Well, Imean yeah, because all of a sudden,
we have bitcoins and all this otherstuff, and a lot of people

(18:02):
are just used to traditional money andhow we've been doing things. So all
this, you know, going alldigital financially, and I'm not so sure
about that. What do y'all think? And would this help? Are they
trying to force everything to be digital? They're saying they're trying to strike a

(18:26):
balance, So this change could besomething to be looked at. Let's just
say that and tell me what y'allthink about that. Are y'all ready to
go all digital? Are y'all readyfor any new laws that could come to
where they could just handle your financeshowever they see fit. Would that be

(18:49):
comfortable? Would that be right,y'all? Let me know. Now,
lastly, let's take a look atthe rim of health care, because we've
gone through a lot in this countrywhen it comes to dealing with health,
and we've had a lot of questions, especially over the pandemic. So many
things have changed, So what's changingnow twenty twenty three, we'll see the

(19:15):
introduction of new health care laws thatprioritize accessibility and affordability. That's always good
access and reasonably priced so we cando it. That's always great. Governments
around the world are working to expandhealth care, health care coverage, reduce
prescription drug costs, and enhance telemedicineservices. Now I can get with that

(19:41):
cause I use certain appointments or tella medicine. So if I'm not feeling
well, I don't. I cantalk to my you know, doctor over
the phone. We can do audio, we can do video. But then,
you know, since I'm not feelinggood, I didn't have to leave
the house to do so we whichis very helpful. So more of that

(20:03):
would be great, especially for ourseniors, cause they're choosing. They're having
to choose between what groceries they getand what medications they get, or should
they pay their lighter water bill orrent. And it's just ridiculous at this
point, to be honest about it, and everyone wants to screen. You
know, inflation, so that doesn'thelp either, So we need more help,

(20:30):
especially in the healthcare field. Now, these changes aim to improve the
overall well being of communities and makequality health care more accessible to everyone,
regardless of their socioeconomic status. Hmm, that sounds great, So we're gonna
wait and see, and there youhave it, a glimpse into the future

(20:53):
of laws that will shape our livesin twenty twenty three into twenty twenty four,
from technology to transportation, social mediato finance, and healthcare. It's
clear that change is on the horizon, so definitely stay tuned for more updates
on the implementation and impact of thesenew regulations throughout the year. So join
