and prevention. Breast cancer is one of the most common
types of cancer affecting women worldwide, and in recognition of

(01:29):
Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this Daily Health episode focuses on
raising awareness about breast cancer and discussing important provincial strategies
by understanding the risk factors and taking proactive steps to
maintain breast health ladies can empower themselves to reduce their
risk of developing breast cancer and prioritize their overall well being.

(01:51):
Now with that said, it's not just women who can
get breast cancer. Fellas. You need to understand and know
as well, because as it does happen. Understanding breast cancer,
we dive into understanding breast cancer. Breast cancer occurs when
abnormal cells and the breast grow uncontrollably, forming a tumor.

(02:15):
It is essential to be aware of the common signs
and symptoms of breast cancer, such as a lump in
the breast or armpit, changes in breast size or shape,
and nibble discharge. Yes I said nipple discharge because it
does happen. Now. Early detection through regular breast self exams,
mammograms and clinical breast exams is key to improving treatment outcomes.

(02:42):
So everybody go get your mammograms. Please go get your mammograms.
I'm up for one in a couple of weeks. I
do it every year like clockwork. Put it into your
routine and it will not get forgotten. And don't forget ladies,

(03:03):
do yourself breast exams. We get so busy that we
forget to do it. Do it monthly so you can
stay on top of it. So what are the risk
factors for breast cancer? Well, while some factors such as
genetics and family history can play a role but are
beyond individual control, there are lifestyle factors that can influence

(03:28):
breast cancer risk. Now. These include maintaining a healthy way,
staying physically active, limiting alcohol consumption, and avoiding smoking. And
understanding these risk factors, individuals can make informed choices to
reduce their likelihood of developing breast cancer. So is it

(03:51):
really important for us to get breast cancer screening? Yes, yes, yes,
and yes, breg little. Breast cancer screening is crucial for
early detection and improvement improve treatment outcomes. Now we're gonna
highlight the importance of mammograms and clinical breast exams for

(04:14):
women of screening age. Because there is a screening age.
Screening goidelines may vary based on individual risk factors, so
it is essential to consult with the health care provider
to determine the most appropriate screening schedule for each person. Again,
early detection through screening can significantly increase the chances of

(04:38):
successful treatment. Sorry, I got tongue tied. My bad. So
what are the breast cancer prevention strategies? Preventive measures play
a significant role in reducing the risk of developing breast cancer. Yes, now,
this and the prevention strategies if it includes maintaining a

(05:01):
healthy lifestyle, being physically active, eating a balanced diet rich
in fruits and vegetables, and avoiding excessive alcohol consumption. Now, additionally,
some studies suggest that breastfeeding and hormone therapy decisions may
impact breast cancer risk. And I'll be honest, I fall
into that category because I had a hysterectomy, so there's

(05:26):
nothing there and I have to take HRT, which is
called hormone replacement therapy, which changes my hormones, so I
regularly have to check and stay on top of it.
And ladies, if you've had a hysterectomy, a full hysterectomy,
you should too as well for better health. It helps

(05:47):
you to support your breast health and overall well being.
Because if your breast are not happy, we are not happy. Okay.
So fellas, if you're listening to this and your wife
or your girl litting anywhere, please give her this information.
Let her listen to this because breast health is very
important now supporting breast cancer awareness. I encourage you to

(06:12):
join the movement. In supporting breast cancer awareness, whether through
fundraising events, volunteering with advocacy organizations, or sharing information on
social media, everyone can play a role in raising awareness
about breast cancer and promoting early detection and prevention strategies,

(06:33):
and together we can work towards a future where breast
cancer is detected, early, treated, effectively, and ultimately prevented. So
support the movement, share like follow hand out flyers, volunteer

(06:54):
wherever you can, but join the movement because we have
lost so many good women and behind breast cancer. So
in conclusion, breast cancer awareness and prevention are vital components
of women's health. Again, I say, if the breast are
not happy, we're not happy, and if we're not happy,

(07:15):
we are unhealthy. Now, by staying informed, understanding risk factors,
prioritizing screening, and adopting healthy lifestyle habits, everyone can take
proactive steps to reduce their risk of developing breast cancer.
And this daily health segment serves simply as a reminder

(07:37):
that breast health should be a top priority for everyone,
and by working together, we can empower individuals to make
informed choices that support their overall well being. Remember happy
breast heavy women or men, cause it can happen to both.

crops for enhanced nutrition and advanced personalized medicine. The continued
advancement in biotechnology whole promise for addressing pressing health challenges
and improving quality of life. Now I must stop and

(11:02):
saying right there, I'm kind of on board with the
treating genetic disorders. I'm not so sure about the modifying crops,
cause you're kind of adding something that's not naturally there,
So I'm a little on the fence about that, But
as far as treating genetic disorders like people for people

(11:23):
like me, that may be very helpful. Now we also
have renewable energy technologies. The tr transition into renewable energy
sources is gaining momentum with advancements in solar, wind, and
energy storage technologies. Now, I don't know about y'all, but
where you live. It might be in a rural area

(11:43):
of lights are always going off in storms, or the
light build is extra high in the city, there are
blackouts and things with that nature. Well, what this this
could a actually help and make a difference. And I mean,
who's not on board for that? I no, I am,
especially when it comes to innovations in solar panel efficiency,

(12:07):
wind turbine design, and battery storage capabilities, which are making
renewable energy more accessible, cost effective, and reliable. Who doesn't
want that? These breakthroughs are driving the shift towards a
more sustainable and environmentally friendly energy landscape. Got to do

(12:28):
something good for the planet right now. We also have
blockchain and cryptocurrency. Now, blockchain technology, best known for its
application and cryptocurrency like bitcoin, has expanded to disrupt various industries.
Beyond finance, blockchain offers secure, transparent, and decentralized systems for data, storage,

(12:52):
transactions and smart contracts. Now this is from supply chain
management to healthcare records. Blockchain technology Y is enabling new
possibilities for secure and efficient digital interactions. Now this might
be good considering we keep getting hacked everywhere, so this
might be a good thing. So will who to that? Now?

(13:16):
We also have augmented and virtual reality. Now the game
is out there. I know you're all in. You're loving it.
Augmented reality, which is AR and virtual reality VR technologies

and offering exciting possibilities for the world. And by staying
informed and embracing emerging technologies, individuals and organizations can harness

(14:27):
the power of innovation to create a more connected, sustainable,
and prosperous future. Ladies and gentlemen, it is a tonic
for hot topics. The conversation is about to get heated.

(14:55):
This is your hot topic today. I'll be talking about
the power of the vote, choosing who speaks for we,
the American people. With everything going on right now, we
really need to vote. Vote for the ones who really
should be speaking for us now. In a democracy, one
of the most powerful rights and responsibilities citizens have is

(15:17):
the ability to vote. Voting is not just a civic duty,
but a way for individuals to have a say in
who represents their values and interest in government. Within the
United States, the concept of we the American People is
truly at the core of our democracy, and it is
essential that every eligible citizen exercises their right to vote.

(15:42):
This segment aims to inspire and educate individuals on the
importance of voting and selecting leaders who truly represent the
diverse voices of the nation. So is voting really important?
Voting is the cornerstone of a functioning democracy. It is
the mechanism through which ordinary citizens can participate in the

(16:06):
governance of their country and hold their elected officials accountable.
By casting a vote, individuals have the power to shape
the future of their communities, states, and the nation at large.
Every vote matters, and collectively they determine the direction of
our country and the policies that affect our daily lives.

(16:30):
So choosing who speaks for us when we vote, we
are selecting leaders who will be our voice in government.
These elected officials have the power to make decisions that
impact a wide range of issues, from our health care
and education to the economy and national security. In choosing

(16:52):
our representatives wisely, we ensure that our values, concerns, and
aspirations are reflected in the policies that are inactive. It
is crucial to research and understand the positions and track
records of candidates before casting a vote. Voter should consider

(17:13):
factors such as candidates stance on key issues, their experience,
and their integrity. By making informed choices at the ballot box,
we can elect leaders who will work in the best
interests of all Americans and uphold the principles of democracy.

(17:33):
Many individuals may feel delusional or delusioned or apathetic about
the political process, but it is essential to remember the
power of the vote. By participating in elections, we can
bring about positive change and shape the future of our
country for the better. Every vote is a voice that

(17:54):
deserves to be heard, and by encouraging friends, family, and
community members to vote, we can amplify the impact of
our collective voices. There are various ways to inspire people
to vote, including organizing voter registration drives, providing information on
candidates and issues, and emphasizing the importance of civic engagement.

(18:19):
And by highlighting the connection between voting and the ability
to influence government decisions, we can motivate individuals to take
part in the democratic process and make their voices heard.
It's important. If you don't vote, you're not using your voice.

(18:40):
If you don't vote, you can't complain later about what
the elected official does or does not do. We must
all do our part. Go to the ballot box and vote.
If you're not registered to vote, sign up, get registered
and vot. Vote, Vote for who you need to speak

(19:04):
for you and your family in your community, but do
the research. We have the right to vote, use it,
and yes, your vote matters. Every vote matters, Everyone that
votes matters. Every vote matters. The right to vote is
a fundamental aspect of democracy, and it is essential that

(19:28):
we cherish and exercise this privilege. By casting our votes
thoughtfully and purposefully, we can ensure that our elected officials
represent the diverse voices and interests of we, the American people.
So let us embrace the power of the vote and
work together to build a more just, equitable, and inclusive

(19:51):
society for everyone. Voting is not just the right, it
is a responsibility and a vital tool for shaping the
future of our nation. So please go vote, Inspire others
to go vote, help people get signed up and registered
to vote. Ladies and John, that has been your hot topic. Heated?
