Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey, welcome to Transformations with Tara. This is Tara Sethon
and my guest and co host is Santa Oh, a
Winter Wizard. Anyway, he was a Winter Wizard for us
at the Solstice Market and beautiful. You know. I mean,
I'm almost thinking that we should have another event, Jason,
(00:25):
just to bring your pets and kids, you know, and
everybody come over and sit on your lap, like maybe
Monday or Tuesday. What do you think I'm putting him
on the.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Wait a second, like Christmas or so.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Yeah, I really think it would be great. Yeah, Christmas,
Christmas Day or on Monday. Yeah, it would be nice
because you know, I really wanted I was invited to
go to have the pets sit on you know, I
couldn't bring the horses. But see you could even come
(00:59):
to the horses and they could have their Christmas picture
with you. It would be really nice. And you know,
I mean the car my Arabian he is. You know,
he could be the snow unicorn with the Winter Wizard.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
You know, with a little bit of photoshop, one could
make a snow unicorn out of him.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
You know, it's a beautiful horse.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
He is a beautiful horse. He's a sweetheart.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I will say that that be a lot of white,
you know, because of like the Winter Wizard is mostly
in that white and red. And then you know it's
something to think about. Yeah, if if anyone wants their
their photo with the Winter Wizard, you know, like contact Terra.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
You know. So it was really funny, you know, before
I got to the car, I have an amazing client
who takes just lovely pictures. And he had sent me
this picture of four wild horses in Nevada and I said,
do you realize that they all have angels as their
(02:12):
white markings on their forehead? And he said no, I
hadn't noticed that. And I said, yeah, they And I said,
you know that I always think my next horse has
to have an angel on their face. And and here
I got the whole angel. I sourced him on. I mean,
he's an angel.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Beautiful, beautiful. So here we are coming up on you know,
it's like the whole holiday season. You know, we've got
Christmas coming up, and like next next week we've got Hanukkah,
and that's a little bit later than usual. Usually it's
kind of in the beginning or middle of December, and
(02:55):
it's like starts like around the same time, but you know,
it's it's uh, it's been an interesting like like uh,
you know, my particular uh season has had its ups
and downs. It's been a kind of a mixed bag.
But you know, I like to think that that the
(03:15):
the holiday spirit, Christmas spirit and all can kind of
like raise the vibration.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
I like to it's really low from past life connections.
We thought that we would add that this that's we
were like, what should we talk about? And it's like, what,
you know, what's our past life connections with people? What
has been the highs of you know, having uh Christmas
(03:43):
with family or friends, you know, it doesn't matter, or
just people in the world, And what are the loves
you know? And what are you know? Because sometimes it
can just get out of hand some of these situations
and I know that every family ask them, Yeah, we
were thinking some of ours, and it's like, I'm sure
(04:05):
there's been more, but in the general sense, it's been
pretty joyful. Usually.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
I could remember for myself a very early connection with Santa.
I mean it's it's not that that weird like looking back,
I guess, but I mean when I was very young,
I would like do whatever I could in my power
to like have like a white beard and you know,
(04:33):
like dress up like Santa like you know, I mean,
how what's the earliest memory of me doing that? Was?
I five six? Oh.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Jason and I are siblings. So the thing is is
that when he was little, he'd be tiny. I mean,
you know you were tiny anyway, So he would he
would put on you know those little beanie hats with
the the ties.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
It was like a baby hat, yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
White hat, and it had a little you know, a
little you know, like he has now a toft.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
It was. It was a lot smaller when it was
a hat.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
But it was more of a ball. Yeah, so you
know he has more of a anyway. So so he
so he would get it was about that shape, you know,
like a spirit isn't anyway, So he would he would
tie that hat. You know, I asked our mom to
tie it on, and Scott and I would wait for
(05:33):
him to bring us our Christmas presents and so he
we would shat and we had this tree because Scott
was allergic to pine and you know, had a bronchial asthma,
and so we couldn't have a real Christmas tree when
he was young.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Yeah, Scott, we could have a real Christmas tree. We
had to have a fake Christmas tree and a fake Santa.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Right anyway, So the fake, the fake tree, like the
Charlie Brown was the ugliest thing that really hit the bike.
I'm telling you. Yeah. It had it had a pole,
a wood pole, and you stuck in the metal things
(06:21):
into the and I don't know, I mean, it was
just you know, a pole in these things.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
It was. There were limbs, they were they weren't real limbs.
They were like, you know, fake plastic limbs. Again, thank you, Scott.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
But we didn't see the ugly I can under I
can really say we did not see the ugliness of
that tree at all, not at all.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
Because once you throw on you know, some ornaments and
glitter and the light, lots of tinsil, lots of tinsil.
It became the silver monstrosity because of all the tinsil, right,
But the light.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
We decorated it, so you know, it was it was
a good ugly tree.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
And there was there was the plastic red Santa that
was at the top.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Oh yeah, we had the red that's right. We had
our red plastic Santa.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
And he lit up there and he was like, you know,
kind of in a pose of like waving or something
like that.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
And yeah, and he probably was quite steady because you
know this wood pole that was the for the for
the limbs.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
No, I don't know that it was steady. It was
all pretty precarious and electrical ass The lights, you know,
they were the old fashioned bulb lights that you could
like you know, screw out and screw in, and when
they got hot, it's like they would compromise the plastic
of the of the you know, the needles there. It's
(07:53):
like a little melty.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
But we had it for years.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
Yeah, and I got to be Santa, you know, like
I dress up like Santa and deliver deliver the gifts. Right.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
It's like, well, Jason loved when he was a little,
like even when he was older. Our mom would buy
him eyelash adhesive and yarn and he would after school,
you know, he would he would put together his beard
and he'd eat like that. And ever.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Some people some people are when we were young, some
people are beard people. You know, it's just like you,
that's just who you are.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
We have not seen Jason's face. He was like eighteen.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
And maybe yeah, that's about right. No, it was like nineteen.
I worked for Sizzler for like like a short time.
It's like three months or so. Yeah, yeah, there was
there was no there's a no beard policy, you know,
it's you know, no, I had a doll raiser. I
had stubble, you know, but they didn't like that. I quit. Yeah,
(09:10):
that was that was the last job of that. But
the uh, you know, the the connection right to like
Santa and all, it's like that that felt like, you know,
very solid with within me and it did bring joy
you know that that was a a joyful aspect. So
(09:34):
when when I play Santa now in you know, various
events and and all, it's a it's it's not a stretch,
you know, it's it is about tapping into the joy
of of giving and of being with people and you know,
(09:55):
all of those high points.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
It is. So what what can you remember as far
as well, let's go past life first, like the past lives.
Do you feel like you're living traditions or that you're
living with people who are creating new traditions, or that
you feel like very attached to as you do holidays?
(10:24):
You know, because I can you know, I have stories
of some of that, but you know, what do you
what do you feel?
Speaker 2 (10:35):
You know, the the the strongest environment that I feel
connected to is usually a Victorian type of environment. You know.
It's like when when I got married and the tree
ornaments and all were like of a bronze nature they were.
(10:59):
The lights were just like white lights, and everything had
kind of an antique like vibe to it. That's what
felt like the most like Christmasy, you know, and not
like just the colored lights, the you know, like just
(11:20):
anything that felt too too modern, you know, like no,
no tinsil really you know. I mean as a kid,
that was just kind of all like bright and fun
and flashy, you know, because it was it stood out,
you know, just out of the year.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
You know, what are you doing clumps of tinsel.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
I don't know that we ever bought new tinseil. I
think we just like you know, used like the.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Old packaged fine now it was because you can't use a.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
No you can, did you? Did you? There was a
few years they're the lean years right where it's like
taking every little piece of tincil off and like you know.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Loo story tinil.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Yeah, no, that that that that one tree, you know,
the Charlie Brown tree. It it's got a lot of
use and reuse and I think even the tinsil got
reused on that. And you know that that part of
building the tree for me was it wasn't a chore.
You know, it wasn't something that our mother would say,
(12:34):
come on, time to build the tree. And it's like,
I think I would bug her, like in early November,
It's like, can I build the tree yet?
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (12:41):
You know, it's like you know, and it was always
kind of like you know, first week of December and
then I lived for it, you know. So I mean
that that was a joy for sure, and actually the
the hell of it was having to take it down,
you know, where where it was no longer a thing,
because it signified you know, kind of the the end
(13:06):
of of of the the light celebration as well. The
lights that I mean, that is one of my favorite
aspects of of this this time is are are the lights?
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Oh? Yeah? Yeah, I know, there's so beautiful.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Yeah yeah, it's like, you know, any kind of light presentation,
you know, if they're on the sides of buildings. You know.
I've been in in a Japan during this this time
of year where the whole sides of buildings are covered
in lights and there's just like just all this like
(13:47):
stuff going on. It's just like wow, that's that's incredible.
But but also you know, like in Europe too, and
I know you've been in Europe during this this time
where it's like there's a whole just like kind of
town village setting. You know that that's just incredible.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Oh yeah, it's it's right. And I was invited to
be in Europe this Christmas tubad. You know, I'm here.
I decided to stay home and people are coming to me,
so it's good.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Yeah, I mean what what uh? What what joy? What
ritual do you like most?
Speaker 1 (14:28):
Oh? My gosh, I think that.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
Well.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
I always like the food, and I always I love
the conversation around the table, you know, I mean I
always and and you know, friends and family, it's always, uh,
you know, a great time. So it's not really the
presence as much for me as it is the food
and the conversations always.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
Yeah, like I could.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Game a balder dash.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Afterwards because of like the food aspects. Right, It's like,
you know, we just in our lifetime here, it's like
we've experienced a lot of different like types of food,
you know, everything from, you know, because because like living
(15:17):
in southern California, it's like, you know, having like Tamali's
and all that that that's awesome, you know, it's but
we never had that as kids. It was always like
roast beef and turkey and ham and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Yeah. Yeah, now we're gonna have Mexican face. That's true,
you know.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
You know, it's like, what what do you feel most
connected to as far as like a past life, does
it transport you back.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Or oh, as far as past lives you know, and
we've lived. I feel like I've lived so many lifetimes
within my life now because you know, I've had so
many Malibu christ and I've had so many Oh my goodness,
I've had so many. Here we go European Christmases, yes,
(16:12):
European Christmases, and Southern Christmases and oh gosh, Alaska, Alaska.
I've been to Alaska for wonderful Christmases. Well, there was
one here that wasn't that was more of a.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Do you care to share that?
Speaker 1 (16:33):
Well? You know, yeah, there was one where they were
drinking a little too much only beer beyond only beer actually,
and only beer Olympia beer they had. They would drink
rain Washington beer, Rainier beer and Olympia beer they would.
We have a lot of that in Alaska. And yeah,
(16:57):
and but they were drinking I think spirits. And there
was a little bit too much kissing with the in
laws underneath the mistletoe, making out a scene with the
in laws and got our brother.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Scott again, Scott again.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Anyway, he got really mad and anyway, there was there
was a lot of choice words and I think there
was a chair raise and yeah, it was it was
definitely not good. And everybody and our mom is from
(17:43):
five kids, so and then we had two sets of grandparents.
We had the grandparents and then the great grandparents. So
we have a lot of family and there was a
lot of cousins. We were we were a big family.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
It's like fifty people.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
Yeah, for us to have any sort of altercation was
just really almost not unusual. But it was a little
crazy that year. For sure. It's like oh god, yeah,
and yeah anyway, but you know, I mean we hear things,
but yeah, that was like a thing, a thing that
(18:24):
happened that was definitely yeah, yeah, we you know, we
got out of control a little bit the party, the partying,
which of course that's usually where it goes south anyway.
You know, let's get you know, some yeah joy going here.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Some liquid joy, a little bit.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
Too much liquid cheer that. Yeah. Yeah. So they were
all a little bit on the liquid chair wagon that year,
but we loved all of them.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
So as far as like that as a tradition though,
or something that that you either you know, feel connected
to or disconnected to, you know, that's.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
A disconnect, yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
You know, it's it's uh, you know, I mean we've
we've heard of like you know, from friends and you know,
other families and stuff like that where it's like, you know,
to have like the cops show up, you know after
a Christmas celebration is oh yeah, that happens every year,
you know where it's like, you know, the neighbors call
(19:32):
the cops or something because there's you know, fights breaking
out in the yard and stuff. I got It's like
it was never never anything like that, right, but.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
You know, maybe a little too much then, you know,
but it was a law, wasn't that.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
But it can it can make like a kind of
a hellscape for you know, some some families and all
and it's just like, uh, you know, it can be
a deterrent from like you know, wanting to like continue
traditions too. It's like, you know, instead of like, yeah,
(20:10):
let's do this again next year, it's like maybe we
should like go to Hawaii, Europe or Hawaii, or you know,
let's change it up.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
I am in Hawaii for Christmas. I don't know, I
don't think so. But yeah, I've been a lot of
times on holidays, but not but anyway, I holidays, I
was in Scotland, a lot in England, but yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Yeah, did that bring up any kind of past life
stuff as far.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
As oh, I do believe that I've lived many many
pasties you know, all over the world, but definitely in Europe.
And and do I like it there?
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (20:52):
Absolutely, it's it's it was wonderful. And and I think,
you know, and I think that you personally make it
into what you want it to be, because we create
a reality each and every moment. Anyway, So how do
we wake up and view the day and not have
(21:16):
too many expectations that this is gonna be cheerful or
not cheerful? You just keep it cheerful and it continues
to be cheerful. And good, you know, no matter what
anybody's going through, I think, uh, for me, past life
was Jess and I. When I first met Jess, I
(21:37):
was Kistern anyway, estern he was an author and he
you know, we had a lot of family connection with him.
Jason was very close to Jess as well. Scott was
(21:58):
very close and and Dad loved Jess and my sister.
So everybody loved Jess. Everyone, and Jess was uh, and
he loved being a part of our family. His children
lived off and so he he was with us, so
he he would be with me. Well, he was always
(22:21):
with you know, he loved my cookie.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
You know kids at least someone did, someone does.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
I just really loved with me and you know that's
breaking bread. Always together. And so Jess would be at
my house once a month at least anyway, and then
all holidays, all holidays, Jess wanted to be with me,
so so we always, you know, no matter what it was,
(22:50):
we were always together on holidays and so one year
I can remember, but but that's our connection. We had
such a strong connection anyway, and Jason has a strong
connection Jason the Mason, and you know Scott, Scott Uh,
Scott Alexander the commander. You know, he loved us, you know,
(23:11):
and yeah, and Cheyenne was born on his birthday, so
you know, I had a and I got married on
his deck to you know, and the whole thing. So anyway,
so he was you know, I had a lot. We
had a past life connection for sure, and we had
(23:33):
joyful holidays for many many years, and and I still do.
We walk into having a wonderful holiday each and every year.
Hunter does not really like the whole festive turkey thing.
So you know, I said, Wow, what do you want
me to make? So it's a Mexican feace this year,
(23:54):
I can. We're gonna have fun doing Mexican food. We're
gonna have a blast. So I'm sure that we have
lived many South American and Central American lives because that's
what kind of food that's my loves. So how about you, Jason.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
I don't know if I'm experiencing some kind of technical
difficulty okay at the moment, but you can hear me, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
We can hear you.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Okay, yeah, yeah, I mean as far as like the
food stuff, you know, like you know, I think that
you know when you're in you know, if if you're
not if you're open right to to creating like some
(24:44):
some new traditions and all. I think that it's it's
kind of fun to experiment a little bit with, like,
you know, different foods.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
Mhm. You know, like lot, We've done that a lot.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
I mean mostly like you know, like living or living
with a a person from another country, like I do
you know, my wife is Japanese. It's like we usually
save the the the Japanese traditional foods for the New
Year's mhm. And and we we'll do something a little
(25:26):
bit more like traditional or western, you know, for for Christmas.
So you know that that is usually just kind of
falls within you know, the poultries and and all, not
not so much like you know, like a roast beef
or anything like that. But uh but again, like you know,
(25:49):
the the Mexican diet, the Tamali's you know, it's it's
like it's it's really I mean, that has like an
extra special essence to it. And I think that you know,
it's you know, part of just kind of being in
the Southwest. The I think it's just kind of more
(26:14):
and more natural in some ways just to like gravitate
towards that that diet.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
Yeah right, so well yes, and well and I think
that you know, like Willie and I, my son, William,
my oldest, he and I used to make hundreds of
Tamali's and we were talking about it this year, you
(26:40):
know that I wished he was nearer so that we
could make a lot of Tamali's and he said, well,
you know, you get here, it's on the California you
can just go out and buy him. And it's like, yeah,
I'm just going to go out and buy a bunch.
But yeah, Jason, are your technical difficulties come back in?
(27:01):
Because your friends on the screen. Ah, that's a really
beautiful freeze. I have to say. It's like, you know,
you're honoring you're honoring the wonderful holiday.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Definitely, as long as I don't have like a weird
like expression on my face.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
Now, now you can say later if you know, you really.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
Yeah, my my computer did like an update because it
was I didn't have internet for ten days after the
Malibu fire.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Yeah, ten days.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
That was like one of the down to the to
the month. But yeah, but you know it's like it's fine,
it's opportunity to create a new tradition of just quietude
as well. Yeah, got to uh sit and do some
(27:58):
writing mm hmmm, and some more writing and and then
just kind of sitting in the dark, right.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
Right, Yeah, yeah, I know, and we don't. We're not
used to that. That's the olden days. So that becomes
a whole other discipline really is to go back to
the old ways where you go to bed with them
the sun goes down.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
Yeah, yeah, you know it's interesting about that too. I
think a friend, you know, said, oh, well, you know,
it's like you're you are like a you know, interested
in like.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Oh, we lost him, we lost Jason here, so we'll
I'll Adam in as soon as he comes back. Yeah.
So anyway, so yeah, talking about some of the highs
and lows. Anyway, Yeah, Willie and I would make all
sorts of tomalies, even like the really good ones, the
(29:07):
oh pumpkin pumpkin ones and love Cheese to Molly's. And yeah,
we'd have hundreds until probably like April we'd put them
in the freezer, and then probably about April we we
talked to each other and as far as like who
(29:27):
who you know who who had eaten theirs first? And
love their to Molly's and and decided to to you
know that they were gone and we were we'd always
(29:48):
look forward to making them again. And so you know,
I do, I do miss that right now. As far
as not making toms here, we can no, that's not him.
But yeah, so uh wow, so uh yeah, Jason's not
(30:08):
coming back in yet so with his his machine must
be really uh taking its time. Yeah, but yeah, he
didn't have any power for about four days and then yeah,
it took it ten days for the internet to come
back in. So okay, So some of the good traditions
(30:32):
for past life, the past life holidays. Now you know, uh,
if you didn't live near your family, you know, you
got together with your Yeah he said, his computers going buggy,
So well you you would, you would do wonderful you know,
(31:05):
bring in you know, your neighbors or or do charities.
And that's always good to do charities as well. I
think that's where churches got really popular, as they would
get together. You know, you don't have your family around,
so you get together with other people to help each
other or to you know, have a nice nice time
(31:27):
feeding each other. You know, because I know that my
sister and she's never had her kids into it. She says, oh,
you know, you know about about to the the the
(31:52):
Christmas jello. She hates jello my sister, and so she's
always like, no more jealous. H yeah, but uh, one
of her daughters, uh, the grandmother to Briggs, she brought
(32:12):
the other grandmother brought a beautiful jello to Thanksgiving and
it was full of real berries and jello and it
was so beautiful. It was really good. So the thing
is is that what do you like for? And then
maybe I'll make stuff like that. You know, I definitely
(32:35):
will still make pies and for for our enchiladas, I'm
gonna make enchiladas, and I'll make to well, I'll probably
buy Tomali's and tacos. Maybe It's always been the biggest
thing that my kids love anyway, is tacos, and so
(32:58):
I'll make tacos as well. But I think that, you know,
I don't want to like over overdo all the food. Well,
you know, I'll just kind of see what everybody wants,
you know. Okay, But so let's do a little How
(33:20):
about if we do a little bit of a meditation
also while we're waiting for Adjason on that we will
have a really great holiday this year we can. So
I want you just to relax. And if you're listening
to this in the car, of course you're not going
to close your eyes, but you can close your eyes
(33:42):
if you like, if you're at home in a nice
chair and or outside sitting down somewhere nice, because you know,
I don't want you driving or doing anything like that now,
while I just give you a small meditation on having
(34:07):
a good holiday, and so closing your eyes, I want
you just to feel relaxed and breathing just easily. Breathe easily,
that's it. Breathing easily, hm. And you're just letting go,
(34:31):
letting go of any expectations that you might have any
anxiousness or frustration family members, or that you can't be
with family members, or that you feel you have too
much to do, or you're spending too much money, or
you know, you're just too busy. In your mind and
(34:52):
in your spirit. You want to just be let it go,
letting it go, that's it. So just calming down, is
you feel your body just going into calmness. You know
that you're going to be able to handle all the
minutes that you have planned in your day to enjoy.
(35:15):
You're just going to enjoy the holidays, whether it's just
looking at old things, remembering old traditions, remembering your family
traditions when you were young, and maybe remembering your traditions
as you've lived your life, and as you're going to
(35:36):
create in the next few days. So you just go
ahead and just relaxing, relaxing, and you know, if you're alone,
you just know that you're going to create a wonderful
experience for yourself no matter what. Yeah, because it's a
joyful time just to look at lights or to be
(36:01):
kind to another person. And I wish I'm happy holidays,
whatever it is. And so as you just are now
releasing any of that tension, that's it. Keep releasing it.
And as you breathe deeply, I want the oxygen just
to come down into your stomach and as it comes
(36:23):
down into your stomach your chest, feeling so relaxed and
just feeling that oxygen replenish and blossom within your body,
bringing your health and your well being into balance as
that oxygen moves through your body, and you're just allowing
(36:45):
yourself to be youthful and bring back your inner beauty
and your organs. They work in wonderful sync with each other.
That's it. Failing it just come back into aligned, just
so easy coming back into life, and as it does,
(37:07):
I want you just now to feel that you're supported
in life. That's it. Bring back in just that feeling
of being supported, and that's just feeling that you know
you're really strong through your back and your upper back.
It's you know, there's no more tension in your upper back.
(37:29):
It's all just fallen away, falling away, and you're really
strong through your upper back and through your lower back.
You're just so strong, and your feet are getting clearer.
As far as the directions that you're going, you're going
in the right directions, and you know that you're going
in the right direction. You know that your heart is
(37:51):
going in the right direction. It is calm, it's loving,
it's accepting, and you have love within as well as
unconditional love without. You are doing great and so just
feeling balanced, that's it. And the connections that you have
(38:15):
to people from your past life from your now life,
you know is you're bringing your best foot forward even
if you haven't always been present for them, that you
are present. You are a present. Your presence is now here.
(38:37):
So come into alignment. That's it. Coming into alignment with
your present as presence. That's right present. You're listening, you're
conversing wisely, nicely, joyfully, that's it. And so anything that
(39:05):
you are doing within the Christmas area, you're doing it well.
Speaker 3 (39:11):
Upcoming that's it, Anika, you're doing it well. You are
doing well throughout all holidays as we come into the
new year as well, and we're going to trust it.
We trust that great things and miracles are all around
us at all times. We live in the spirit of miracles.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
We walk a beautiful life and we know it and
we ask it, may beseech it and so it is.
And so we don't have Jason back. I don't know
what happened to Jason. Yeah, he's still figuring out his computer,
I think. Yeah, And so maybe he'll come back any
(39:58):
here in a minute. So yeah, the joy Oh, here
he is. See we spoke and here he is. So anyway, Yeah,
Christmas spirit, it's us gathering our Christmas spirit. I'm not
(40:23):
just Oh, I don't know, are you coming back in? Jason?
You here with us yet? Yeah? Oh, I guess he
wasn't able to come in. Yeah, or maybe he'll show
up here in sec yeah so yeah, so oh here
(40:48):
he is our little Santa, the Winter Wizard. He was
really great at the Winter Wizard. I'm really telling you
we have to do another photo shoot. We do. You
were just too great. I mean he was beautiful. He
(41:09):
is beautiful. Which it was up his alley, you know,
when it's up somebody's alley. This is it, this is it.
I love it. I love it.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
So what I miss?
Speaker 1 (41:23):
I did a meditation with everybody.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
Beautiful, yeah, beautiful, do it later. I will tune in
later at all and uh and get the meditation part.
Speaker 1 (41:38):
So uh so anything else that you want to talk
about as far as past life connections, like you have
past life connections definitely with.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
You know, I mean I I feel that, you know
it just over the years and all that that again
and it it has felt more more joyous than it
has felt more more hellish or you know, where there's
there's things to resist, you know, because I don't resist family,
I don't resist gathering with with people and all. And
(42:19):
you know there there can be uh uh you know
stress as far as like you know, getting preparing and
all what one can be in that place. But but
one can also be in a place of just knowing
that you know, you're you're you're building for a a
festive time. You know, sometimes there's just preparation for the
(42:42):
festivities that you have to endure. And you know, if
it's a chore to to get gifts for people and
and all that, then pull it back, you know, if
you're you know, if you're stressed out, it's like, you know,
you don't have to like just knock yourself out to
like do do everything, do what you can and and
(43:03):
make sure that you are enjoying, you know, the this
time of year. Yeah, I mean that's I mean, that's
you know, it's gotten me through you know, quite a
quite a few of these these celebrations.
Speaker 1 (43:17):
Yeah, I was just thinking. I was remembering when I
went to Scotland one year for Christmas, and uh, Scott
and Jason they said that Christmas was a big black
hole that year because I was gone because usually I'm
pretty hands on and you know, developing Christmas into an
(43:40):
event and uh and uh so so uh, but I
remember that we were in Scotland and Cheyenne and one
Hunter were young. But Cheyenne we were at this manor
house in Aberdeen and we put chi. They put Cheyenne
(44:00):
on the table, the actual table, to sing for everybody
on this long table. Right, it was just exactly what
you think of in Scotland and everything, this long table
with all these chairs and Cheyenne standing on the table,
and they said, sing sing a Christmas song for us,
(44:22):
and you know, I've they they would learn songs in school.
And she sang Dradl Dradel song. It was so funny
and so cute and the Scots they were just delighted
with her and laughing and it was so fun funny
(44:44):
and it was just there was just a whole thing.
It was hilarious. It was really funny.
Speaker 2 (44:52):
I think that's a year that me and Scott we
took a road trip and we drove up to San Francisco.
But we found out that most everything thing is closed
on Christmas as far as restaurants, and even Denny's was
like closed. It's like we are Our motel was next
to a Denny's and it's like, yeah, we're gonna wake up,
We're gonna eat you know, Christmas breakfast there at Denny's
(45:13):
and all that, and it's like nope, and and and
and so we had to like kind of just you know,
search high and low. And it's kind of before you know,
Internet and Google and all that, where it's like what's open,
It's like just drive, just drive, and you know, the
first place that's open, that's the place, because it's not
(45:33):
like there's gonna be a lot of choice, and and
so it was it was like a diner that was open,
and we went in and and uh and ate and
you know, we we made to we we like, uh,
you know again, it's like if if the tradition isn't
always available to you, it's like you are free to
(45:57):
like kind of invent your own way through it and
create some some new memories and all. And so we
had a great time, you know, just creating a instead
of it being just kind of a big group celebration
all that, it's just you know, a smaller intimate time.
And and we met our sister Amy up in San Francisco.
Speaker 1 (46:20):
Yah, wonderful.
Speaker 2 (46:22):
Yeah, it was really really nice.
Speaker 1 (46:24):
Yeah that is really nice. Yeah. Yeah. Well I put
it my Christmas all early this year. It was like
November fifteenth, but you know, I go southwest pretty much
all the way.
Speaker 2 (46:36):
I put up lights.
Speaker 1 (46:39):
Well yeah, yeah, well the fire was near you.
Speaker 2 (46:45):
Yeah, it's it's like, uh, you know sometimes again, you know,
you can improvise a little bit, you know, get take
take what again. I feel connected, you know, to to
the to the lights. You know. M h like that's
an important part of the traditions.
Speaker 1 (47:05):
Yeah, beautiful. Well it's the light. It's the darkest time
in ewel you know, it's a winter solstice. Is that
it's the darkest day of the year and that we
will you know, and you always think that winter is
the dark, but winter is actually the light is coming.
It's autumn. That is the darkest time. It's coming into darkness.
(47:28):
And when we lived in Alaska, everything was dark, like
you like I would look out the window in high
school and think, oh my gosh, there's a light for
a little while, because you know, it was when we
walked in the morning. We'd walk and we and I
(47:48):
have those stories I have is walking in the snow
and deep snow that's cool every morning and every night
walking home or you know something and I uh uh,
you'd go out, go out and look at the back
(48:10):
door of the house and walking through the yard because
you didn't want to walk all the way around you know,
go out the back door, and uh yeah, I walked
tromp through the snow and the in the bank, you know,
to get across the road, go up the other bank,
and then I'd hit through through the woods. And then
(48:31):
it had a big steeping hill that we would use
for sledding that went out onto a small lake and
so we we I would cross the lake because it
would be frozen in the wintertime somehow fall in winter.
And then you know, get to high school. But we
were just short of the bus route, so we were
(48:53):
almost a mile. We were like point nine instead of
point you know, you know, we didn't so.
Speaker 2 (49:00):
The buses didn't come out to pick us up.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
No, by the time you went to go to the
bus all the way down Strawberry Road, you you, it
was like, forget it. I would been at school, so
you don't want to do that. I didn't want to
do that, So yeah, so went And.
Speaker 2 (49:20):
I'm just sorry that you had to walk to school,
you know, because I was Dad's favorite. He drove me.
Speaker 1 (49:29):
Yeah, you never had to.
Speaker 2 (49:30):
Yeah, but we were always late, and so I nearly
flunked out of school because of you know, It's okay,
I mean, there was there was years that it was
like math class that was like the first period, and
you know, math I could care less about.
Speaker 1 (49:51):
I is math every day of my life. Every day.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
Well I know, but.
Speaker 1 (49:57):
It's worth it. But you know we used to say that,
you know, are you going to really use it someday? Well, astrology,
I use it. I use geometry every single day and
all I'm doing is mathematical equations in my head. So yeah, no,
it's it's all about it's it's all about math. I
(50:17):
became a math with and I would never give it up.
That I was glad I you know I learned in school.
Speaker 2 (50:26):
You were glad that the dad didn't drive you there?
Speaker 1 (50:29):
Yeah, miss my math.
Speaker 2 (50:32):
You know when I when I incarnate into my next life,
that's going to be a trauma, you know, as far
as like you know, when my future dad is like,
let me take you to school, it's like, no, no,
I'll fail.
Speaker 1 (50:46):
I'll walk. I'll walk. Well that's just yeah, you know,
I mean, what's the and and it's good. It was
a good exercise. I was, you know, I was in
great shape because I had to walk, you know, no
to school.
Speaker 2 (51:01):
Yeah, I did plenty of walking to school. I'd walk home.
I had to walk home from school, and it was
all appeal. It was all appill, you know, cold, Yeah,
a pill in the tundra, you know, we know it was.
Speaker 1 (51:29):
When the sun was out. It was colder than and
there was no warmth to it, which was so weird.
Speaker 2 (51:35):
You know why it was cold? Do you know why
it was cold?
Speaker 1 (51:41):
Go ahead?
Speaker 2 (51:42):
Because I didn't have a beard.
Speaker 1 (51:44):
Oh, I guess he didn't have.
Speaker 2 (51:48):
If I if I had worn my beard to school,
I would have been totally fine, right, but I would
I would have been made fun of.
Speaker 1 (51:56):
Because you know, and we looked so forward to the snow.
I mean, my cousins. I it wasn't really Jason, it
was my cousins and I would we'd go, we'd meet
up to you know, the first nose. Oh. We were
madly about it and we loved it. But by February March,
you were dying for it to be summertime, like please
(52:17):
melt off, and then it would. It would snow through
April and it was just.
Speaker 2 (52:22):
It would take its time. It would you know, by May,
if we were lucky, it was like you know, it
was it was gone.
Speaker 1 (52:30):
And then I'd be very Yeah, in May temperature was
still forty degrees forty five degrees, but I didn't care.
There was grass on the ground, so any Yeah, so
but we had beautiful Christmases and we had beauty I mean,
(52:51):
we had beautiful food because we had such a big
family and everybody brought really amazing food. Yeah, and you know,
we had this Thanksgiving. I was up with my sister
and mom and the and my nieces and my niece.
They all cook now and it was just like this
lovely beast. And you know, it was fun too, because
(53:14):
it's you know, it's like that we've given them enough
family traditions that they are now the ones who are like,
come over my house and have this and oh, let
me fix the menu. And yeah, it was cute. It
was really fun. Yeah, we loved it, really loved it.
(53:34):
So yes, So so I will make a blast if
you do dress up again. Maybe you will, maybe you won't.
Maybe I won't be able to talk you into it, but.
Speaker 2 (53:48):
Well we'll see, we'll see.
Speaker 4 (53:52):
You know, this is a photo opportunity, Yeah, bring your outfit.
Speaker 2 (54:06):
So what you know, I h during this time as
far as like my scheduling and all that, as far
as like classes and stuff like that. It's like like
a period of rest, you know, it's a period of like,
you know, just being into the festivities and all and
so you know, it's like last night was my last
(54:28):
class for twenty twenty four. Okay, you know, but we
have we have a class coming up in January, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
January sixteenth through the twentieth Psychic Intuition and course.
Speaker 2 (54:43):
It's right to enhance your your psychic abilities, to explore them,
to bring them to the four.
Speaker 1 (54:51):
And going to have it in northern La San Fernando
Valley and Chatsworth and we you know it's going to
be fun. We'll have a great time.
Speaker 2 (55:03):
Yeah, yeah, total total great time.
Speaker 1 (55:05):
Yeah, let's get you, let's get you a certificate. And
you know, being psychic, it's not just about becoming a psychic.
It's really about being psychic whatever your career is, you know,
the direction, the course of your life and how you
can use psychic ability to enhance yourself. You know, and
(55:27):
we all need it for our safety, for our money,
for our love life, for our health. You know, just
use our good intuition and to open it up, open.
Speaker 2 (55:41):
Up all areas of life. Right, It's like the ability
to trust oneself and to trust what it is that
you are intuiting and so you can activate it, so
you can you know, act on what it is that
you're feeling and you know, like be be confident in life.
(56:02):
That's the that's the essence of it. Uhh. I. I
am doing an event tomorrow that is in Japan or
it's online, but it's it's going to be in Japanese,
and I will be Santa and what we'll be doing
a Christmas tea party, but I'll be be reading taro
(56:26):
for the group and also individual readings, you know. So
it's like it'll be a fun, festive event that will
be you know, translated into Japanese. So it's I've posted
on my my Facebook as far as the the go
to the address, but it's all in Japanese. So you know,
(56:47):
that's that that's the uh. I just love the community,
you know, It's it's just so wonderful, the students that
come in and the and the guests. It's always we
have a great time. I have a strong connection with Japan,
(57:09):
you know. When I'm there, it's it it does feel
like it's uh you know, do you feel at home there?
Even though I kind of stand out like a sore
thune because I'm taller than most and you know, just
looking the way that I do, it's just you know,
I can't can't help but have point and left.
Speaker 1 (57:32):
Besides the winter Wizard that he is and you know,
an amazing replica of Father Christmas anyway he is, you know.
I mean we've been in cancuon and when he was, Hey,
David's a man. He'd be that Jesus. I mean, you know,
(57:53):
he's been called a lot of things and over the years,
oh and gosh, everybody would be bowing down to him
and I don't know who they thought he was a
few times when.
Speaker 2 (58:04):
That was around Christmas time, Wasn't it like when we
went to that Indian restaurant and the guy was just
like he was like it's all over me, Like oh,
you know, it's like I know we were like, okay,
totally mistook me for someone else.
Speaker 1 (58:19):
Some great Indian guru.
Speaker 2 (58:22):
All Right, it's like all right, but can we get
like some extra like uh, non bred or something. You know.
It's like the guru is hungry. Make that happen.
Speaker 1 (58:39):
You know what was happening We didn't ever happen.
Speaker 2 (58:43):
I don't know. It's it's Los Angeles. Could be a
weird place.
Speaker 1 (58:48):
It could be fun, fun place a couple of times
too at Starbucks.
Speaker 2 (58:56):
That's right, that's right, Rick Rubin, Jerry Garcia, Nick Fleetwood.
Speaker 1 (59:01):
You've gotten everything in Ginsburg.
Speaker 2 (59:04):
You know, it's like you name it, I've gotten it
zz top.
Speaker 1 (59:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (59:15):
But for this season it's just Santa and then in
January Tarot Wizard all throughout the year.
Speaker 1 (59:27):
You know, I'll probably go ahead and put those out
those can.
Speaker 2 (59:35):
So I am.
Speaker 1 (59:37):
I'm because you know, no, Okay, okay, lot's of love.
Speaker 2 (59:46):
Everybody a Christmas, Happy Holidays. What's a love
