because that's just the way that the Holy Spirit flows

this word from the Lord, and I believe that they

thank the one who makes this possible for this platform,

up to this appointed. Our Lord, you have made the
enemy stayed back, and Lord, you have stayed death by
(02:51):
your hand, not allowing the enemy to take our lives.
Father God, you have kept all those that's on the line.
And Lord, we pray that all of their family members
and everybody connected to them also have been kept and
blessed by your mighty power. We just want to ask

give us a receiving heart and an ear to hear
what the Holy Spirit is saying. On tonight, Father God,
as you continue to use this vessel, Lord, we pray
that you continue decreasing me in my flesh, that I
(03:36):
will increase in the more in your Holy Spirit and
become more like you and become the vessel that you
have created me to be. Lord, we thank you now
as we attempt to, by the permission of the Holy Spirit,
and with the help of the Holy Spirit, come before
your people with this word. We thank you now in
(03:59):
the name of the Father, in the name of the Sun,
and in the name of the blessed Sweet Hodidos, in
Jesus the Christ's name, we pray, and God's people say, Amen, Amen,
and a men, be kind tonight and try to invite
at least five people if you can, But if you
(04:21):
cannot get five at least invite somebody to this platform
on tonight. We know that there is always a word
from the Lord. Amen, and by permission of the Holy Spirit.
On tonight, we're going to be reading two different foundations
(04:42):
of Bible texts, and of course, throughout the discussion tonight,
we are going to also be bringing other supported passages
for our topic on tonight. First of all, we want
to read first John chapter four, verse nine, and ten,
(05:02):
and then we are going to move from there and
we are going to move to Mark chapter twelve and
read verses twenty nine through thirty one. So, first John
oh ninety ten grees in this was manifested the love
of God, the Lord us, because that God sent his
(05:26):
only begotten son into the world that we might live
through him. Karen, is love, not that we loved God,
but that He loved us and sent his son to
be the propitiation for our sin. Mark chapter twelve, verses
(05:48):
twenty nine through thirty one. Read this way, and Jesus
answered him. The first of all the commandments is here
o Israelity. The Lord, our God is one Lord. And
thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy
(06:11):
heart and with all thy soul, and with all thy
mind and with all thy strength. This is the first commandment,
and verse thirty one says, and the second is like
namely this, thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. There
(06:34):
is none other commandment greater than these the word of
the Lord read of the people of God. Well, my deea,
Christians and brothers, we want to attempt to allow the
Holy Spirit to direct us in disseminating this lesson to
(06:55):
you tonight. We need to understand that we're living in
a dispensation of time and season, when things that have
happened before are getting worse and we are now experiencing
them at an all time high. Our topic lets us
(07:18):
know that the power of true love. And then if
we had to give a subtopic on tonight, it would
be love has everything to do within now. Events such
as nation against nation, country against country, governments against governments,
(07:46):
denominations against denominations, and yes, churches against churches. Seemingly men
have replaced love with hate, and they have replaced peace
for nothing but pure lawlessness. Oh my God, we are
(08:07):
experienced times that the Bible refers to as perilous times.
I believe that this is why in this hour and
in this particular lesson, God is calling on his people
to return their attention to the power of throe love.
(08:34):
Now we use that word love so loosely from our lips,
But how true is that love that we so eloquently
speak of In the movie What's Love Got to Do
with It? Gina Turner, she downplayed the significance of love,
(09:01):
calling it a second hand emotion and a sweet old
fashion notion. Well, now, when people are experiencing difficulty, and
they are going through disastrous and devastating, demeaning and degrading situations,
sometimes they may focus their attention on love and they
(09:24):
might come up with that same definition as Interna did.
Because those of us that watched the movie, we know
that she suffered many things a beautiful woman of God.
But for those who really understand the true essence of
the power of true love, it means so much more
(09:50):
in the eyes of all Mighty God. Now love has
everything to do with it in accordance with His holy words. Now,
when we look again at first John four, nine and ten,
as it is also paralleled with John chapter three, Verses
(10:14):
sixteen and seventeen. There Jesus himself taught but the power
of true love really is. He said this, for God
so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son,
(10:35):
that whosoever believed in him should not perish, but have
ever lasting life. And this is the extreme epitomy of
that true love. In verse seventeen, it says, for God
sent not his son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world through him might be saved. Now,
(11:00):
these passages exemplified nothing less than the true love of
God for mankind. However, the world is an enemy to God.
It is seemingly not in love with God, and therefore
(11:25):
man cannot love God until we are truly born again. Then,
when we are born again, we have the spirit of
God living within us, enabling us to recognize and understand
the power of true love, which is to love one
(11:50):
another as God loves us. God showed his true love,
which was on condition undeserved, and incomparable, his love was
selfless in sending Jesus in the glory of Heaven to
(12:12):
come into the earth, already knowing what he would encounter
and what he was going to have for suffer much
for our benefit. Now, according to Isaiah fifty three, verses
three through six, which foretold, or shall we say, prophesied
(12:38):
the power of Jesus's true love. It reads this way.
He is despised and rejected of men, a man of
sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were,
our faces from him. He was despised, and we esteemed
(13:04):
him not surety. He has borne our greece and carried
our sorrows. Yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God,
and afflicted. But he was wounded by lord transgressions. He
(13:27):
was bruised by our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace
was upon him, and with his stripes we are illed.
And verse sixth of that particular passage, the script says,
all we like sheep, have gone the street. We have
(13:52):
turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord has
laid on him the uniquity of us. All so right,
there is enough to let us know that us be
where we are today in Christ. Even the benefit of
us having light in our being right now had nothing
(14:17):
to do with us, even for the crazy thing that
we have indulge in, the things that we continue to
indulge in. It was already prophesied, as it was then
as a prophecy was given by the apostleized perfect idea
(14:38):
that Jesus was coming into this world and he was
going to take on the burden on himself of all
of the sins of mankind. It was prophesied that Jesus
would show us his unparalleled love, me his limitments, love
(14:58):
of undeserving love that mankind didn't even deserve, but that
he was coming to show his umpire of love, true love.
When he come into this world, he would be willingly tortured.
He would face death and be separated from his father,
(15:22):
so that we could be born again, have a right
to the true life and avoid spiritual death. Oh my goodness. Therefore,
as we know the story, and we know the history
of Jesus after he came into a dying sent for world,
(15:45):
we know he suffered. He shed his precious blood at Caberi,
and he sacrificed his own life. Why did he do
all that? Well, that's what the power of true love
it's all about. He did this in payment for our sins,
(16:09):
in order to redeem us at the God and prepare
the way for our salvation. Now, this is the power
of God's true love for his creation. We didn't deserve it.
But he sent his son Jesus into a vision meaning
(16:33):
hate o world, and the world didn't even warn him.
He came to his own, and his own didn't even
know him, participated in having him put to death. Bless
becase of the power of God's true love for his creation.
(16:54):
Jesus came as a sacrificial lamb so that we could
live and he would die in our place. God could
not have shown a greater example a sacrificial love than
sending his son as the attorney sacrificer, and Jesus could
(17:18):
not have shown a greater example of his true love
that required him dying on the cross. He did for
us what we could not do for ourselves. And if
not for this true love, there would not have been
an opportunity a salvation. Not then, neither now This true
(17:44):
love is declared in Second Corinthians, Chapter five, Verses fourteen
and fifteen. Fate says, for the love of Christ constraineth us,
because we thus judge that if one died for all,
(18:06):
then we're all dead, and that he died for all
that they would live. Should not Hence folks live unto themselves,
but unto Him which died for them, and rose again.
So what was the Apostle Paul talking about here? Jesus
(18:30):
have every right to call us back to practicing the
powers of true love when we gave up nothing for
our own life norfel one another. But Jesus gave up
everything so that we could have life and have it
(18:53):
more abundantly. The Apostle Paul was dropping some principles of
how we should appreciate what Jesus did for us at
the cross so that we could have a spiritual relationship
with him and leave for him with a thankful heart.
(19:16):
How many times have we forgotten? How many times have
we ignored the opportunity just to tell the Lord, thank
you God, because you've been so good to me. We
did not wake ourselves up this morning. And just by
the way, just in cases your alarm clock went off,
(19:40):
let me tell you tonight, the alarm clock didn't wake
you up because Jesus had the power that he could
have called us and held us at base in level
between life and death, and we could have never heard
the clock when it started alarming. But it was the
power and the love of Jesus Christ that he woke
(20:05):
us up into a brand new day one when we
laid down last night. We wasn't sure that we were
going to see or we had high hopes and we
believed that we were going to see the next day come.
But there was no guarantee. But we thanked God for
Jesus and the power of true love. It was love
(20:30):
that woke us up again this morning. Lord, we better
hear this word on tonight. If we could really understand
the true love of Jesus Christ and what he did
for us, sacrificing his life in place of our death,
(20:53):
and that we would just recognize how this afforded us
opportunity to escape eternal destruction and parent depravity, then we
would be compelled to lift up our hands in praise
(21:14):
and worship. We would let all the things of our
day to light, all of the obstacles that we face,
all of the things that the enemy puts in our path.
No matter what the enemy come up against us, with
every firing dart that is thrown at us, we would
(21:36):
be walking around moaning and groaning and complaining and whining
and crying because of every of the crisis that we encounter.
Because he never told us that light was going to
be easy, but he did promise that he would be
with us even until the end of the earth, and
(22:00):
that he will never forsake us, and he will never
leave us alone. So when we encounter any type of circumstance,
from any type of situation you know of any herald
in our life, we need to approach it understanding that
you know what I'm walking and the power of true love,
(22:24):
because I am in Christ and Christ is in me.
According to First Theater, Chapter one, verses eighteen, nineteen and twenty,
we are reminded of this for as much as you
know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things as
(22:49):
silver and gold from your vain conversation received by tradition
from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ
as a lamb without blemish and manifest in these last times,
(23:13):
who verily was for ordaince before the foundation of the word,
for you and for me now therefore know it is
again we need to stop complaining so much, stop being
ready to fight with flesh and blood. The Bible lets
(23:37):
us know that we are not fighting against flesh and blood,
but we're fighting where the money forces, principalities, spiritual wickedness
in high places. So it's not about the flesh. It's
about the enemy is using the flesh to come against us,
to make war with us. We need to learn through
(24:01):
the power of true love to do spiritual warfare. And
all just know that we will never understand how to
do effective spiritual warfare on our own. We need the
help of the Holy Spirit, and we also need the
(24:22):
power of Jesus' true love working in us. Therefore, our
appreciation and gratitude for our deliverance, add for our adoption
into the family of God, should create a burning fire
(24:44):
within us that feels our desire to love Jesus Christ
as well as our fellow man and do everything humanly
possible to please. We work so hard trying to meet
man's expectations and please man. We do a lot of
(25:09):
things that we think man will give us some gratitude for.
But when we express our love for our Lord and
save with Jesus Christ, and when we just think on
the goodness of Jesus and all that he has done,
our soul shall continually cry out, Lord, I thank God
(25:29):
for saving me. It should not be marrying out of
his sense of duty of obligation that we love Jesus,
not out of fear of consequence if we do not
love him. But our devotion, our obedience, and our true
(25:53):
love for Jesus should come from a real love for
God and should be driven by our faith in Him,
trusting his true love for us as we love one another.
Or let me tell you to my dear sisters and brothers,
(26:15):
I don't care how much mankind tell us they love us,
and I'm sure many times they mean it, but the
love of man for us can never reach the depths
of love that the Lord has for us. Our relationship
(26:37):
with God should be rooted in our love for him,
not for what we can get from him, but because
we love him. We don't have to ever question God's
love for us, knowing that He has truly loved us
from the very beginning of time. Now points to look
(27:02):
at whether our love for Jesus is true. See, we
know whether or not our motive for saying that we
love the Lord, and even the good deeds that we
do and do it in His name. We know if
the motive of our heart is our true love. We
(27:23):
know if the reason that we as a Christian is
only to escape the flames of hell. We need to
know that it's not gonna work with the Lord. We
got to be He loved him because we want to
be in love him, not just that he'll save me,
(27:45):
and oh yes, he will when we are sincere, because
he knows our heart. He knows when we come up
to him and we love up on him because we
want something from him. But we need to learn the
power of true love so that we just love the
Lord in spite of, not because of anything that he
(28:08):
can do for us materialistically or as well as firishingly.
It should be rooted in him. We don't have to
ever question that he loves us. We need to know
that He has truly loved us from the beginning. We
(28:29):
need to know that if our relationship with Jesus is
from material gain, then it's not root in it's true love.
If you only acknowledge God's greatness when all is well
in your life, then your love and relationship with Him
(28:49):
is based on feelings and materials instead of the power
of true love. When our relationship with God is based
on true love, then we will love what he loves
and we will hate what he hates. A world offer
(29:11):
us a lot of things that bring us pleasure, but
as we have already afore said that the world is
an enemy of God. And those of us who love
the world, who love a lot the world and on
in love because of what we can get out of
(29:32):
the world, then that is not gonna work with God.
And we cannot legitimately say that we are walking in
the power of true love in that relationship with Him.
We will be zealous in telling others about Christ's love.
(29:53):
Why because God love means everything in the relationship, and
he expects reciprocation of true love from us. That is
all that He required from his children of Israel, that
they love him, that they serve him, and that they
(30:15):
keep his commandments. That was not asking them to jump
through and the hurdles, because when they got in trouble,
even when they were hard headed, stiff necked and rebellions,
where they went to battle, it was the Lord that
fought for them. They gave them the predictory. And you
know why he did that, even though they weren't perfect people.
(30:36):
He did it because of the power of his true
love for his people. Lord have mercy. And when we
do that and reciprocate the love back to Him from
a pure heart, this is exercising the power of true
(30:57):
love between God and man. First John, chapter four, verses
six through eight tells us this we are of God,
and he that knowing of God. Giveth us he that
is not of God here if not us, hereby know
(31:20):
we the spirit of Truth and the spirit of Arab Beloved.
Let us love one another, for love is of God.
And everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God.
And verse eight says Heed that love if not nor
(31:42):
if not God, for God is love joring what the
Lord is saying. You can't even legitimately say you love
me when your love is not from the heart, Because
when the Lord is gibbet his love toward us, it
is with nothing but purity, compassionate, loving kindness, and gentle
(32:07):
mercies from his heart. It does not come with any
strength attached. And we want to know in attitude ten eternal. Yes,
love has everything to do with it. Many times we
speak or we show love without any true meaning. But
(32:30):
Kristen should possess and God they love the kind that
God has for us. And along with God showing pure
love to us, we must show true and pure love
to Him as well as to our fellow man. He
(32:52):
tells us that we should love one another as He
have loved us. How many can say, with a trueness
and honesty from your heart that your love with no
strains attached. Apostle Paul reminds us he first Corinthians thirteen,
(33:14):
verses one, two and three, of what that true love
is and what that true love is not. He said,
though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
and have not charity, we know that charity is loved.
Look at what he says. I am become a sounding
brass and tinkling sell me. All I do is make
(33:37):
a lot of noise when I talk, because there is
no truth in what I say. Then that second verse is,
and though I have the gift of prophecy and understand
all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all
faith so that I can rememb mountains, and have not charity,
(34:02):
I got no love to do all these things. Guess
what he said, I am nothing, meaning no matter what
I do, it has no value with the Lord. Because
even though I can do these wonderful, wonderful deeds, he's
saying that if they're not being done with a pure love,
(34:25):
straight from the heart, it means nothing to God. And
he places no value on it. Oh, yeah, somebody is
gonna benefit by all of the good deeds that we do.
But why should we do everything for a benefit for somebody,
knowing that we're not doing it out of love and
we end up on the losing end With God, we
(34:49):
want to be the winner along with those that we
went to Him, as we show them a power to love.
And that third verse says, oh, I bestole all my
goods to feed the poor. And though I give my
body to be burned and have my charity, it profited
(35:11):
me nothing. What is Paul saying? If we do any
or all of these run or for deeds, but it
is without the motive of true love from the heart,
our works and our deeds are in vain and they
are of no real value to God. Faith that can
(35:36):
move mountains has no great value when love is missing.
No matter how much we ask philanthropists give to charity
where you know, some of us or we just really
go on and on and arm by. We gave this
charity and you know and we do needd as that one.
(35:56):
And when they was having their charity program hiring this
organization or whatever they were doing for outreach in the community.
You know, I went out and I did this, and
I did that. Do you hear our? Do you hear us?
Do do we really hear the motive of the power
of true love in any of that? If there is
(36:19):
action with not true love, God will not reward it.
The only reward we will get is maybe a handclap
from people or whatever award they may give us, or
getting out there participating as philanthropists doing all these things
for the community. For what are we doing with the
(36:40):
power of true love so that we can receive our
eternal reward with Jesus Christ. We can declare that we
that we do, that what we do is for the
sake of Jesus Christ. We can say it all be
wont but it's a for real However, if we lack
(37:01):
true love in our hearts, even when dining with our
fellow maids, and if we do it for eye and
lip service, for man's approval and for man's applauds, we
gained no merit from all by God. Again, we can
(37:22):
do all these wonderful, fantastic deeds. But when it is
done for eye service and for lip services, because somebody
was looking at us, or because somebody could hear us
giving all these wonderful speeches, you know, and mankind of
just clap fan and applauding us all. What a wonderful
(37:45):
word they are giving. But if none of it is
done with real love, that were really gonna invest something
in somebody's life to do them some good, and that
it is not for our self is gaining that we
will gain the approval and the applause of man regained
no merriage from Almighty God. You see, my dear sisters
(38:10):
and brothers, the power of true love thrust our hearts
to a willingness to follow God's commandments on how to love.
Now Jesus himself taught in March chapter twelfth again verses
twenty nine through thirty one, and again he said these
things that we want to be reminded, So we're going
(38:31):
to reread that. Twenty nine says the first of all
the commandments is here, Oh Israel, here speaking to you today.
Put your name in that spot. When he said, here,
old Virginia, here, old Jerry, here, Old Nigia, whoever here,
(38:51):
old Ernest, whoever is on this line and listening, put
your name there. He said, the first commandments here, O Israel,
the Lord, our God, is one Lord. And thou shall
love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and
(39:12):
with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and
with all thy strength. Now this is the first commandment.
So that is telling us that everything we are and
everything we not, we got to give it back to
the Lord. Why because he gave up everything for us,
so he can demand by his commandment that we do
(39:35):
all these things. But we got to put our heart,
our mind, our soul, and our strength. We got to
put all of us in it. What is the saying
gold ninety nine and a half won't do. We got
to make a hundred if we want to get into
the kingdom. Verse thirty one says, and the second is
(39:59):
like name this bout shall love thy neighbor as thyself.
There is none other commandment greater than these. Oh, we
want to do all these wonderful, fantastic things for our
neighbor to see us. But do we really love our neighbor?
(40:20):
Who is our neighbor? Not just the people that live
on each side of you, or across the street or
down the street, or live in your community. Is anybody
that you come in contact with becomes your neighbor and
they deserve the power of true love from you, the
same love that the Lord has shown you. Your neighbor
(40:44):
deserved that same love, no matter what they may be
in need. If it's within your reach to fill that need,
then fill that need. Don't be selfish, don't be greeted
with the blessings of the Lord. Because in us, being
that Jesus, he fees the poor, he clothes the nicked,
He gives the thirst of water to drink. You know,
(41:05):
so we have loved the same way that He loved,
and we're gonna call it the power of true love.
That our love got to look like the love of
Jesus Christ. You never said you had to lack your neighbor,
but he said you got to love your neighbor as
you love your own self. So be careful how you
(41:26):
treat you, because that is how He is admonishing us
to treat our neighbor. We can serve God and do
spiritual things, but that not what He is really interested in.
The most. He desires that our devotion and service is
(41:47):
done in the power of true love. When true love
is missing, our works are polluted with self pleasure rather
than serving and seeking to please God. We should love
eat spite of and not because of, what we can
(42:08):
benefit from showing true love to God and our fellow man.
We need to remember that Jesus loved us purely even
when we didn't know how or didn't know how to
love him or calling to a Romans chapter five and
(42:28):
verse eight, we are reminded of this that but God
commended his love toward us in that while we were
yet sentenced. Now after we got saved, but while we
were yet sinnerce Christ died for us. We didn't even
(42:51):
know him when he came into the world. You heard
us afore said that when he came, he came into
his own, which were the Jews. He came to to
give good tinies to them first, and they didn't even
receive him. Why because they didn't even know who he was.
They didn't have been in love for the people. They
(43:12):
only had love for themselves. They looked at themselves as
being great because they were the chosen people of God.
And they looked at the gentiles and called them dogs,
meaning that they weren't even worthy of lessons. They were
not worthy of anything that was good because they were
not chos. Thank God for the power of true love.
(43:37):
But Jesus came to go to the jew first to
live with the gunness, but he had no intentions whatsoever
to leave out the gentiles. Then it goes on to
see he commented that he died for us. So now,
since Jesus has taught us how to love from the heart,
(44:00):
he demands that we walk in the spirit of true love,
not fight one another, but love one another, not come
against one another, but come together, that we all might
be able to benefit from the richness of a common
pause and present the power of true love in our
(44:24):
lives every day, just as He extends his love to
us without any respect of persons. So we can't pick
and choose who we show a power of true love
and call ourselves a Christian, because the power of true
love should just be one of the insickness of who
(44:45):
we are that identifies us in Christ. In doing this,
we show the power of God's true love in our
gratitude for his graciousness, as well as a faithfulness towards us.
And the New Testament, love is portrayed as critically important,
(45:09):
being central and primemnery to the understanding of who God
really is and to understanding what it really means to
be a true Christian. When we are true Christians, we
know that the Word tells us that you are the
light of the world and the soult of the earth.
(45:32):
I mean, we're supposed to be the one that is
leading others and pointing them to Christ. But we cannot
lead other people to Christ if there is no love
in our heart for them. Why because we will stand
in our human opinion and judgment against them. God did
(45:53):
not give up the power and authority to do that,
but he only tells us a dutiful us. He said,
if I be lifted up, I will draw our men
unto me. So we are to go out into the
highways and the byeways, and we are to compel others
(46:13):
as we be a bright shiny light to show them
the way through Jesus Christ not judge to condemn them
because of the life that they live in. Galatians Chapter
five and six tells us that love is the expression
of faith. The only thing that counts is faith and
(46:34):
the power of true love. As Christians, true love is
our identity. I'm gonna say that again. As Christians, true
love is our identity. Why because it is the identity
of Jesus Christ, and true love identifies us whip him
(46:55):
because we love as He loved, and a soul love
is the heartbeat of who we are being demonstrated without
respected persons, the apostle Paul said at First Corinthics again
chapter thirteen, and we're gonna again apply that verse one
because it is so important to who we are and
(47:19):
whether we love or whether we really don't love. He said,
though I speak with the tones of men and angels
and have not charity, I am become a sounding breast
in a chink of symbol. All I do is make
a lot of noise whenever I open my mouth, and
there is no power in what I say, and it
(47:41):
is not effected. And I cannot draw anybody with that
word that comes out of my mouth, because I am
a tinker and simple is somebody that making a whole
lot of noise. He went on eve verses four through
seven of First Corintha in thirteen, pointing out the characteristics
(48:03):
of true love as being these. It suffers long, It's kind,
It does not envy other people. It is not bostful
and puffed up, is not shaming, not self seeking, is
not easily angered, and think no evil against anyone despises sin,
(48:29):
loves the truth, walk in the confidence in all that
God requires is to please him. Now, the power of
true love was first manifested when Jesus sacrificed his life
to pay the sin debt that man could not afford
(48:55):
to pay. He did this not because we love him,
but because he loved us. This was the kind of
love that was and still is undeserving it the mankind.
We didn't do anything to earn his love, but he
(49:19):
loved us even when we didn't know what love was.
And that's why love has everything to do with it,
because the love that was first shown to us. And
we are saying that we are going to be Christians
and that we are going to live the life like
(49:39):
Jesus Christ, and we got to walk in the light
of his word, and we got to love for another
as he had taught us to love. But the power
of Jesus' true love was given freely when we were
at our worst. He didn't wait for us to get saved,
(50:00):
even before we were safe, even before we even knew
of Jesus, even before we knew about his goodness, he
already showed his love to us in our most sinful place,
even while he was being tortured and being abused, while
(50:22):
he was hanging on the cross, he said, Father, forgive them,
for they know not what they do. That same sin
could be applicable to many in the body of Christ today.
Why because we are still torturing, we are still abusing him,
(50:47):
where we do not show the love that he told
us that we must love one another. Every time we
fight against our neighbor, every time we fight against one
another and not fight the good fight to make life
better for somebody, then we are still abusing our Lord's savior,
(51:10):
Jesus Christ, and we are still torturing him on the cross,
because there he was hanging there that he had come
into the world to bring all this good, to bring
all these abundant riches and blessing to the people. But
look at what they did to him. They did not
receive him. They received everything that he had that he
(51:32):
could give, but they did not receive him. But he said, Father,
forgive them. Listen at that truth loved them, forgive them,
for they know not what they do. He poured his
love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. And while
(51:57):
we were still weak in our sins and deserved nothing
but death. Jesus. Yes, Jesus, sweet Jesus died for the
ungodly people that you and me. Oh, yes, we may say, well,
I'm not unguarded anymore, but we are not perfect either.
(52:21):
We all have some unguardedness still eat us. That we
got to allow the Holy Spirit to work out of us.
And all we got to do is eyes and he
will do it for us if we allow him to
do so. And he because of the power of Jesus
true love, we have been saved and justified by the
(52:47):
shedding of his blood and reconcile to God because of
his sacrificial death. Remember, the power of true love comes
from the heart. It is not something that we just
run our mouths about and we talk about and we
(53:08):
brag about, we lie about how much we love one another,
how much we love the Lord. He heard my cry
and he answered my every home, and as long as
I live, when troubles rise, I'm gonna hasten to his throne.
We need to hush up, and we just need to
(53:30):
be quiet for a moment, because it's not about what
we see. It is our action, and it's not because
we have to, but it is our choice to show
true love and be affectionate, as well as show compassion
(53:53):
to God and our felllemen without respect of persons. True Christians,
not these penniandy Christians. Not somebody that is dressed up
and go to church on Sunday, somebody that might decide
to show up whatever, not their Bible studies in their
(54:15):
respective places of worship is taking place. But true Christians
that don't mind getting down in the gutter, that don't
mind reaching their hands down in the mud, getting their
hands dirty. True Christians that will choose their prey for
those that come against them rather than do tit for tat.
(54:35):
When you kill my cat, I'm gonna kill your dog.
No no, no, no, no no. True Christians possessed the
heart of our Father, who is God, a heart that
is filled with the power of true love. What if
(54:55):
the Lord treated us the way we think the Lord
one another. You hurt me, I'm gonna hurt you. You
took away from me, I'm gonna take away from you.
You don't love me, I'm not gonna love you. And
then we get into the root of I'll do it
(55:17):
if you do this, if you do that, and I'll
do this, that is called pick or piggyback and that
and that's called pity pat giving tit for tat. We
don't want to do anything for anybody unless they do
something for us. But I'm here to tell you to
not my sisters and brothers. As we close this bid
(55:39):
the study lesson, the Lord is calling his people back
to exhibit the power of true love. And again back
to the question that Tina Turner as ike what love
got to do with it? In the song that she sang,
We're here to tell you tonight that love has everything
(55:59):
to do with God, because God is love. We want
to thank God tonight for this word. We want to
thank every one of you who have come on this

to choose to believe that somebody, if not everybody, owned
(56:21):
this line. Hearts have been changed and their lives are
going to be transformed into something new when it comes
to how to love with power their man, to their
fellowships and brothers, and how we treat God. Now when
we say that we love him, we'll do it with
(56:43):
a pure heart. Again, we want to thank all of you,
