(00:48):
You are now listening to your most favorite Bible radio host,
none other than Bishop Doctor Virginia Sangington, who is affectionately
known as Doctor Lee, Senior past Master of the Divine
Church of Deliverance located at side fifth of Lawson Street
here in the windy city of Florence, South Carolina. Let
(01:10):
me take this opportunity to invite you to come in
fellowship with us, and I promise you if you come once,
you will come again. Why because that's just the way
that the Holy Spirit flows in the sanctuary. Wanna say
hello to Jered Ross out there in Orange Mills, Maryland.
(01:31):
We thank God for you, Jerry. Amen. Amen. In so
many waiting for so many things, We're gonna say we
thank God for those of you who are already tuned
in with us on the line on tonight. Wherever you
are tuning from, we thank God for you, Amen a men.
(01:51):
But most of all, we thank God for Jesus Christ, who,
through Jerry, provides this platform so that a word can
go out to the masses. So let us pause for
just a moment and let us give honor where honor
is you pray with me for just a moment, if
you will, Precious Father, in the name of Jesus, we
(02:16):
is gonna pause to tell you thank you, our Father.
We thank you for life, health and strength. We thank
you for the blood that is yet flowing warm in
our veins. Father God, be thank you that you have
kept us from the last time that we were on
this platform up until this appointed time on April the
(02:38):
first of twenty twenty five. We thank you so much God,
because of who you are to us and that you
allows us to be a part of your family. Lord,
be asked that you just touched the hearts of those
that's going to be on this line tonight to hear
this word. Lord, that something in their heart will change,
(03:00):
O God, and maybe somebody's life might even be transformed
because of the word. And then Oh God, for this
humble servant, O, Lord, continue decreasing me, hide me so
far behind the cross that they no longer see me,
but they only see the spirit of the Lord that
(03:21):
dwelled down on the inside. And Father God breathed on
this bird tonight that we all might be able to
hear and grow thereby because we was on this platform
and got fed this word tonight. Lord, we thank you
now for the name of the Father, in the name
(03:41):
of the Son, and in the name of the pressure
holding ghosts in Jesus the Christ name, we pray and
everybody say amen, Amen and amen again. I say, welcome
back to the transforming life by the radio show you're
listening to favorite Bible radio host who is affectionately on us,
(04:04):
doctor V. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, Thank God. Again. We just
ask all of you if you would just go ahead
and hit those share buttons, go ahead and like and
just tank somebody else that they will come to the
table tonight and receive this bread from Heaven. On tonight
(04:26):
there is always a word from the Lord, and tonight,
my permission of the Holy Spirit, our scripture, by our
foundation of texts, is going to only be one verse
coming from Second Corinthians, chapter seven and verse fourteen. However,
as we go throughout the discussion, we will be bringing
(04:48):
in other passagests to also support this Bible study on tonight.
Our reading tonight again from Second Career this chapter seven
and Verise proteen. It reads this way, if my people,
which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and
(05:15):
pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,
then will I hear from heaven, and we'll forgive their
sin and will heal their land. Amen, Amen and aid men.
(05:38):
This right here is a portion of facet of scripture
came from the from the prophet Isaiah. I'm sorry the
prophets from Solomon Hedelujah that wrote this. Amen, Amen and Amen. Tonight,
we need to understand that there is a lot going
on in our world. But God has given the clarion
(06:02):
call for his people too for our topic. Faithfully turn
to God. Faithfully turn to God. Now in this particular passage,
God use Solomon to encourage his people to seek the
(06:29):
faith of God. To often we seek Man for everything
that is going on in our life, for every situation,
for every circumstance, even for what we need to Often
we seek man for their applause, for their opinion, or
(06:52):
for their approval. But tonight, people of God, we are
being in colouraged to seek the faith of God. Commands
were made designating a spiritual prescription for all people, not
(07:12):
just the children of Israel, because the same prescription for
our spiritual learning that was given unto the children of
Israel is also applicable to God's people even to this day.
So it was a spiritual prescription for all people. To
(07:33):
assess them in accomplishing last thing spiritual health while meeting
God's commands. First of all, believers need to humble themselves.
What does that mean? We need to walk into humility
(07:57):
and we think or when we know for a surety
that we stand right with God, even in the midst
of every attack, there is no need for God's children
to retaliate, but we should faithfully turn to God for
(08:22):
help as well as his protection. Many times, for example,
others are promoted to a position that we have worked
the hardest for and prove that we deserve it, But
yet the position and the promotion is given to somebody else.
(08:48):
For example, others will receive a raise or bonus that
we have earned, yet we were overlooked while others receive
bonuses and raises, someone else are chosen or elevation in
(09:11):
ministry who had not really devoted any time or service
warranting such a reward. But we need to understand mankind
might people in the earthly realm, but only God themselves
(09:33):
can promote his people in the Kingdom. And now believers
are not to retaliate in our well doing and place
ourselves at risk of losing our relationship with God. Although
(09:54):
we might rise in positions with land, we've been promoted
to that position by God. We need to faithfully turn
to God, hold fast to our faith, stay humble, and
trust that God will elevate and promote its people in
(10:20):
due season. First Peter, Chapter five, verses five and six
tells us this, likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder.
Yet all of you be subject one to another, and
(10:42):
be clothed with humility. For God resistance the proud and
give it grace to the humble. And verse six is
humble yourself therefore under a mighty hand of God, that
(11:03):
he may he may exalt you in due season. I
want us to take note of that latter part of
that last clause there in verse six is saying that
he may exult meant that there is no guarantee, but
(11:25):
with if the Lord sees fit that we are worthy
to be exalted, or be promoted, or of being given
something more than what we have. Is saying that he
may exalt you in due time. Because of your humility,
you also work. Regardless of what was going on in
(11:48):
your life. You continue to rumble yourself under God's mighty hand.
Wasn't concerned about whether the mankind was going to lift
you up, or whether the man kind was going to
give you a new position, of whether mankind had the
power to exalt you. No, no, no, Only God has
the power to exalt his children in the Kingdom of God. Well,
(12:16):
even Jesus humbled himself in union with his father, as
he made it known in John chapter eight and verse
twenty eight. In response to a confrontation about who he was.
He said, then, said Jesus unto them. He was talking
(12:42):
to the Jews. When ye have lifted up the son
of Man, then shall ye know that I am he
and that I do nothing of myself. But as my
father have taught me, I speak these things. Here Jesus
(13:06):
made it very clear that even he faithfully prayed and
that he faithfully trusted in and he also faithfully turned
to his father for instruction and direction instead of acting
(13:27):
in his own accord. We recognize, and then we'll be
honest about it. Whenever we go about establishing our own
righteousness and not submitting ourselves to the righteousness of God,
and we set up our own agenda and we follow
that agenda that we created that had nothing to do
(13:49):
with God, ninety nine point ninety nine point nine percent
of the time, our plans will fail. So at Jesus Us,
and he faithfully came to his father asking for instructions
and direction. What is our problem as the people of
(14:10):
God that we will not go to him and consult
with him on matters that pertain to our lives. This too,
talking about Jesus going and talking to his father to
get direction and instruction, This too, is the attitude that
(14:32):
every believer should adopt in living as the people of God.
We cannot afford to be so careless as self seeking
that we alienate the best sound advice of our spiritual group.
(14:54):
Jesus should be our first choice of consultation on what
He requires for us. To serve him faithfully. Jesus was
also humble in respect of union with his father, which
is proven by he did nothing without consulting his father.
(15:20):
He seeks not his own glory, but the will of
his father. His doctrine was not his own doctrine, but
of his father that sent him into the world. He
did everything to please, not himself, but everything to please
(15:44):
his father. He came from his father and not from himself.
He did every thing that would glorify his father. He
did not boast a brag about himself, but he spoke
(16:06):
the commandment that was given to him by his father.
His works were not even his own, but his father
worked through him. And Jesus did not have his own agenda.
(16:27):
But he seeks God's faith and presents faithfully in all things. Oh,
we pray that this word is hitting somebody tonight. I
know it helped me and to hold the spirit downloaded
it and in to me. It helped me to know
(16:48):
how to come even more faithfully. When I come before
God with a matter, then God's people are commanded to
turn faith unto him. He prayer first that Salonian chapter
five and verse seventeen tells us this pray without ceasing
(17:12):
pray that we be ready when Jesus come, because as
he promised, he is coming again, and he's coming back
just like he said that he would. The first time
he came, he came as a sacrificial lamb and our
(17:35):
save er. But the next time he comes, he's coming
as a reigning king of all people, of all nations,
and of all things. He's coming to reign the next
time when he comes, he came to save the first time.
For the next time he comes, he is coming to
(17:57):
reign over everything that is in this earth. My God,
My God. James Chapter five, Verses fifteen and sixteen presents
a promise and assurance of healing when we faithfully turn
(18:19):
to God. The scripture says this, and the prayer of
faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise
him up. And if he have committed sins, they shall
(18:39):
be forgiven him. Verse sixteen. Confess your faults one to another,
and pray and pray one for another, that you may
be healed. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man
(19:05):
availed much. But when we come to the Father in prayer,
whether it is for ourselves, but especially when we come
before him, in prayer on behalf of another believer, or
even someone that do not believe, whether they're sick or
they're living in a life of sin. The Bible says
(19:27):
that the effectual urban prayer of the riget availed much,
and the prayers of faith shall save the sick and
pray for one another that you may be healed. So
prayer is so so critical. But even in the prayer
(19:51):
that we prive, we must be faithful in that prayer.
They must be prayers of faith, not just a bunch
of words that was put together just so we can
go to God and say, well, I had a conversation
with the Lord. No, no, no. Whatever we say when
we go before him, when it comes out of our minds,
(20:14):
it better come out with faith. If we expect of
the Lord to act on our behalf according to where
our faith was when we came before him asking him
for anything. Why is it so critical that our prayer
must be of faith. Well, even Jesus himself prayed in
(20:41):
the garden of Gassemine. He was in agony as he
knew that his plight was to get to that cross,
as well as he already knew the suffering and pain
that he would have to endure to get there. Isn't
(21:04):
it something that you have to be faithful when you
know that whatever it is that God is charging you
to do, it may come with some pain and some suffering.
How many of us will really stayed on the calf
and go all the way through to the end to
see what the enind't gonna be? Somebody wrote that song,
(21:25):
I believe I'm gonna run on and see what the
ain't gonna be. Even though Jesus knew everything that he
was gonna have to go through, he stuck to it,
and he held fast to it. He was faifer even
unto the end. Why because he knew his father. He
(21:46):
knew what his father was capable of doing. He knew
what his father would do for him on his behalf
if he came faifey before him. Jesus prayed a very
short prayer, but very powerful, while leeding that guard to
(22:09):
know as semony. He prayed, Father, if thou be willing,
removed his cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but
thine will be done. Remember, Jesus was in the flesh,
(22:31):
he was in his humanity when he prayed this prayer,
So he was feeding all of the agony. He was
feeding the all of the frustration. You know, he was
feeling everything that he was going to be condemned to
a light for something that he did not even do.
He was feeling the pressure of the commitment that he
(22:55):
made to his father to come to this dying, sick,
crazyt sin for world, and that he would give his
own life up so that man would not have to die. Why,
because mankind was not ready even of death. He came
(23:16):
that he would give his life so that you and
I and others like us could live. So we too
must learn how to diligently and faithfully turn to God,
sincerely seeking his face, how through prayer and supplication, when
(23:44):
facing difficult situations, to often return to man for him.
And there's nothing wrong with that, because the Lord will
lead people into our path, you know, and give them
a word, give us a word through somebody else, or
we may have a need that must be met. God
worked through people to meet needs. He even worked miracles
(24:09):
through the hands of doctors. He worked miracles through the
mouths of the word that he sends through his profits.
Or even it's somebody who is a Sacti five ordergos
fill fire baptized Christians. So in love with the Lord
may not even have no title. But guess what you
got Jesus on the inside. You got to hold His
(24:30):
spirit dwelling on the inside of you. So we all
can help somebody. But when we seek God faith, we
got to be sincere, and he got to be faithful
to the cause of whatever God charge at our hands
to do. Now, the Hebrew word for a face in
(24:53):
the Old Testament is often translated as present, Not like
a president that somebody wrap it up and put a
board and they give it to you. But to be
in His presence that pr e s eat and seek
E that may you be somewhere at an appointed time
(25:15):
in the place of time. Is face that we are
before the Lord. We are with him. We are spending
time with him. Our spirit meet with his spirit, our
love meets with his love. And that's that unity of
that relationship that we have with Him. But we become
(25:39):
before him. We must be faithful when we come before God.
So we also seek God's presence when we seek his face. Wow,
I'm not just calling on your name, God, I'm calling
on your name. I want to be where you. I
(26:00):
want to be with you. When I say you we
want to be where He is. We are not saying
that we are ready to die and go home to
be with the Lord. But Lord, your presence is everywhere.
I want to be, even here in this earth, in
this realm. I want to be able to feel that
You are with me. I want to be able to
(26:21):
feel and know that I am never alone. And we
can rest assured in knowing that as God is faithful
to us, he will never leave us alone, because he promised,
he said, I will never forsake you, and I will
never leave you a lone. So if we walk, and
(26:45):
we live, and we dwell, and we pray for and
we crave, we are thirsting for His presence. Know that
there is never a time that we are not in
the presence of God, whether we can see in it
or not. He watches over us at all times, and
(27:07):
as his children, we are seek his presence. God commanded
his people, first of all, the children of Israel, to
seek his face, because they in then disobedience, He gave
me too hard on him. Because we are no different
(27:28):
today in the body of Christ. Many times we become
so disobedient to the Lord till sometime God will allow
things to come up in our lives to check us
and let Okay, you're on the wrong path, you're going
in the wrong direction, you're doing this wrong, you're speaking
(27:50):
wrong conversation, You're hanging out at ungoded places. And that
is not my will and all my desire for you.
And this is what was going on with the children
of Israel. So he told Salmon to tell them that
they need to seek my faith because in their disobedience,
(28:11):
they have turned their backs on God and they needed
to return unto Him who is and was their provider
and protector. He's our provider also he is also our protector.
(28:32):
And isn't it something that God is so faithful to
his people that even when we turn our backs away
from Him and go in another direction and refuse to
acknowledge who he is. And we live our lives though
we speak from our lips that we have a relationship
(28:53):
and that we are in Him, but the way we
live our lives say I want nothing to do with him.
All I won't is a provider and a protector when
I need him. But we need him more than we
need his provision and his protection. Why because he is
(29:13):
our provision and our protection. So we must also seek
the face of God to be in his presence. But
like many again in the body of Christ, they have
become hard hearted, stiff neck, and rebellious. However, God still
(29:39):
extended them an opportunity to repent and turn back to Him.
May kind won't do us like that, even our flesh
and blood we got the same DNA. They will not
be that forgiving to us. But why won't we faithfully
(30:02):
seek the faith of God who no matter what we do,
the moment that we decide that we want to come
up out of that and that we are ready to
do the right thing when we are sincere and when
we coming for Him faithful in our asking. Lord, I'm
sick of myself now, even myself and my doing is
(30:27):
enough for me. It's too much for me to handle
our ready for something different. He does not hold it
against us. It says that He will still extend another
opportunity for us to repent and turn from the world
(30:48):
and turn ourselves back to Him. We who are believers,
we need to realize that we are not at liberty
to sit in judgment of the Israelites. Matter of fact,
(31:08):
we are not at liberty to sit or stand in
judgment of any one. God did not give us that authority.
We judge the sin, but we do not judge the person,
because neither do we serve God whole heartiday or seek
(31:29):
His face as consistently as He desires for us to do.
We are not one hundred percent. So why do we
come down on others and judgment and condemnation because they
are still swaying, because they're still dragging their feet, because
(31:50):
they're still being so truthful, they don't seem to be
able to keep it together. Well, that is not for
us to determine, that for God to determine. God is
forever faithful to us, although we too are sometimes negligent
(32:12):
in our faithfulness to Him. So why would my unfaithful
self at times judge to condemn somebody else because they
can't seem the state and walk in their faith? Why
do I think that I am any better? I too
got to come to for God and be faithful unto
(32:36):
Him and faith of me. Also, if I falter, if
I fail, if I'm true in who I say I
am in my relationship with Him, my trust level for
him in that relationship need to be so faithful that
you know what I messed up. But I'm gonna seek
(32:57):
the presence of God again. I want to back in
right relationship with him because he promised that he won't
let us fall if we are leaning on him, even
if we make mistakes, even if we go off in
a little bit of error, and we are willing to
turn ourselves back to Yip and walk away from that
(33:20):
which caused us to get an error, he will forgive us,
and he will cleanse us of all of our sin.
That's how come there is nobody on this planet that
can stick their finger in nobody face and tell them
what you ain't this, you ain't that, you ain't gonna
(33:43):
never mount or nothing. Nobody. Let me tell you. We
did not create anybody. And as far as the Lord
is concerned, we are all his servants, whether we do
right or rather we do wrong. He said in his word,
who can judge a man's servant? And what was God saying?
How can you judge something that you didn't even create?
(34:06):
You know nothing about them. You might know their name,
but that's about all you know about them, because what
you see them do, their lifestyle is not who they are.
That is just how they have chosen to live. And
so we have to get out of the way people,
and we have to leave God matters to God, and
(34:29):
we just do what gods have called us to faithfully do.
And there's to be the light of the world and
the salt of the earth. And maybe it really get
it right. Maybe we can help somebody else come out
of those dark places where they are rather than asking
judgment on them. Now even faithfully turn into God. And
(34:58):
we look at Psalm one five and verse four calls
on the people of God to do this. Seek the
Lord and his strength, seek his faith evermore so. Every
(35:20):
day we need to consistently be seeking the presence of
God for our protection and for our provision, for our safety,
for our defense, for what our our water, our food,
whatever our clothes. Seek the Lord's presence for all things,
(35:42):
for our jobs, for our promotions, for our raisers. Because
everything about us belonged to God. Why because we belong
to Him, We don't own our self. He owns us.
That is why we have to seek his seek him
and seek his strength. We have no strength alone by ourself,
(36:06):
and that we have to seek His face evermore. I mean,
I don't just seek it one time when we get
in trouble of when trials and tribulations become too much
for us to bear, and now things of pressing down
and becoming a burden to us. You know, see, if
we seek the Lord's face at all times, that he
(36:27):
is gonna always shoulder up whatever it else that we
are going through. But he wants us to come to him,
you know, because he's not gonna just bombard our life
and rescue us just because we need rescuing. It's because
we deserve that rescue. Why, because we are faithful serving him.
(36:49):
We are keeping his commandments, We are doing what he's
say and we are Sometimes he might be a struggle,
but we are working and striving, trying to get away
from that old man that we used to be. I
can't be serving Satan with all of my life and
then expect for the Lord to rescue me. No, no, no.
(37:12):
When I may be struggling seeking God's faith, if I
falter and again, els I make a mistake, and when
the enemy become after me and try to attack me
because I fail again, the Lord say I won't let
you fall if you lean on me. He will not
(37:34):
let the enemy have the best of us. Why, because
he is our protection. He's our provider, he's our defender,
which means he have a shield. He's out of Jehovah
Nissi is that he has this cover and this batterer
that he raises over us. When the enemy comes in
like a flood, the spirit of the Lord raises a standard.
(37:57):
Right now, you just can't come up in here and
go up against Jerry like that, because Jerry is mine.
He might have faltered a little bit, but he is
still mine. And I heard him when he was calling
out God, forgive me, get me back on the right path.
And see when we do that, there is nothing that
anything can do with just back off, because they know
(38:19):
that even though we became a weak moment at God
hand is still on us. His arms still embrace us
because he's a faith for God. That's why we have
to go faithfully to him seeking his faith. If we
can be honest tonight, we would admit that, even if
(38:41):
we have not completely turned our backs on God, we
have at times neglected to pursue Him or the answers
that we needed in most of our situations. And the
reason that because we so on them be so accepted
(39:04):
by humans like us. That real than taking our issues
before God faith, and we and the Lord reasoned those
things out together. He said, come now, let us reason together,
said the Lord, because I already know what you're done,
and he promised that when we come together, and I
(39:25):
be honest from the death of my soul with him,
you know, and just fill out to him. Lord, you
know I'm a riched undone and I've done this and
I've done that. I slipped and I failed out. I
failed you. But Lord, I'm struggling, but I desired. I'm craving.
I'm thirsting for getting that thing back in order the
way it used to be. Because I don't want to
(39:47):
be out of a relationship with you. We need to
take our situations through the Lord, because man can't solve
our problems. And even if they's somebody, I say, well,
I he needs some money, and I can go to
the man and get me some money. That's some money
might not be what I need. I may have something
else seriously gone wrong with me in my spirit. Man,
(40:09):
and didn't tell you. Money cannot buy no Holy spirit.
Money can't purchase no ticket to get me in heaven.
Y'all hear what I'm saying. That's why we have to
go before God faithfully because he knows everything that we need.
(40:29):
And guess what, He is the answer to every problem.
He is the answer for every solution that we come
down it comes out to be. It's because we have
Him in our lots and he is our solution. That's
why we have to seek his face. He is everything
(40:52):
that we need. We would admit that at times, instead
of faithfully turning to God for help, we allowed our
flesh to desires to dictate our outcome. We are not
serving God faithfully. We are not seeking his faith faithfully.
(41:14):
When we look at what our flesh want and we're
gonna satisfy that flesh, what do we do instead of
resisting that temptation to fall in that attack that the
flesh came and brought to our faith, we let that dictate. Well,
you know, I know this is not right, but I'm
(41:36):
gonna do it because the Lord will forgive me. But
what if he calls my name and saying the death
Anxiel to get me and I have not had opportunity
to repent? What an outcome that's gonna be? Because he
said in his word in Revelation that when he comes,
however he finds us. That's the way we going home
(42:00):
to stand before the throne. Let us know if we'll
hold it when he comes, we'll be holding still well
be come and stand before him. But if we are
filthy many, if we are living in sin when he
comes for us, we're not going to have time to repent.
And God knows we ain't gonna have time to do
(42:21):
nothing to be faithful about it, because when he comes,
he said, I'm coming like a thief in the night,
no man, no the day nor the hour that I'm
going to appear. So that don't just apply to the rapture,
That don't just apply to his second coming, but that
also applied to when he says, lights out, we breathe
(42:41):
that inhale that lad breath, We inhale, never to exhale again.
So we don't want to let our flesh their desires
with lustful desires. We don't want that addicted our outcome.
Why because what happens, it causes us to walk away
from God, trusting in his power, knowledge and wisdom as
(43:08):
well as God for their character should be our meeting.
The Christians. Every believable should be our preferred compass for
walking in the will of God for our lives. God
wants an intimate relationship with every believer, and he desires
(43:34):
to be a part of our every day experiences. He
don't want us just to have a relationship with him
or when we have Bible study. He don't want us
just to have a relationship with him when we come
to church on Sunday morning or whatever our place of worship,
whatever we be called it. He wants us to have
a relationship with Him at all times through our day.
(43:57):
Every experience that we encounter, he wants to be a
part of it. Why would he want to be a
part of every experience that I have, wife? Because he
knows that his will for us is not the same
will for desire that we have for ourself. And when
(44:17):
we get it wrong, he knows he's gonna always make
it right. So that's why he deserves and he desires
to be a part of every one of our experiences.
So he make sure that our lives are successful, because
that's how he created us. He created us not to fail,
(44:38):
but he created us to succeed. God wrote that intimate
relationship with every believer again, every day of their experiences.
When we drop close to him, then he will draw
close to us. According to James, chapter four and verse eight.
(45:00):
Not only will he draw nine unto us, he encourage
us to cleanse your hands, ye, sinners, and terrify your hearts, ye,
double minded, he said, just because you know I love you,
that ought to be enough for you to faithfully have
(45:21):
a desire to clean up that old man and put
that old man to bed. He said, because I love you,
fish your hands, whatever that is that you use your
hands with, whatever that causes you to sin, leave it alone.
Put that off out of your life, and then purify
(45:41):
your heart, he said, because I judge you on what
you're holding in your heart. Man might not see what's
in your heart, but I know every morning of your heart.
I know when it is pure, and I know when
it speak. So we have to be real before the Lord,
because he knows if it's thing about us. And then
(46:01):
he said, double minded, you say one thing, but you
do another. That ain't be faithful to God at all.
Either we're gonna put book of our feet on one
side of the fence, or we will forever spraddle defense
like we riding on the horse and don't know whether
to get off the horse, jump off the horse, or
(46:22):
just keep on riding. But he said that I will
have you hot hold, but I will not have you
loop warm, because there is no faithfulness in being loop warm.
May will be faithful and right, or they will be
faithfully wrong. It don't mean no difference. It's by whatever
(46:42):
they choose. But he said, if you look onm you
you're not reliable. You're not dependable, you're not trustworthy because
I don't know what you might do. You make a
lot of promises, you say a lot with your mouth,
but you faithfully do something totally different what you say.
That's why we have to faithfully come to God, because
(47:06):
he will teach us to do that which is right. Okay,
This means that God wants us to separate ourselves from
the worldly practices and consecrate our lives unto Him through fare.
He wants us to seek to be in His presence,
(47:28):
and this engage ourselves from the world's cliques. There's a
lot of clicking going on nott on it not only
out there in the world, but there's a lot of
clicking that goes on on our jobs. And the worst
place that we need to be clicking at is in
the body of Christ. Not where we all supposed to
(47:51):
be sisters and brothers with the same Father. Why do
we form these little cliques that we've got, these little
elite clubs, and on certain people can be in them,
and we don't want to be bothered with nobody else.
That's the dangerous game that we play. People of God.
(48:11):
Now we need to disengage ourselves from the world's cliques,
which places our spirituality in jeopardy or in danger. When
we divide our layalty between God and the world again,
we stravelling in the fence. We want God on one
(48:32):
side and the world on the other side. We want
to do what we were going to do over here.
When I say I'm a believer, I want to act
that I'm a Christian on Sunday or whenever we go
to church and fellowship. But then on the other side
where Satan and the world. That when I'm getting ready
to be the old man again, when I think nobody
is looking at me, then to guess what I'm going
(48:53):
to that side of the defense. No, no, no, no,
God said, you got to make up your mind. Your
Joshua shows you this day who you are going to serve.
He will not have his love for us, or either
his presence divided between us and the world now. Psalms
twenty four, verses three through six speaks of the character
(49:19):
of God's people that faithfully turns to Him of consultation
in times of distress. The passages tells us that when
we approach God in prayer, we are again seeking divine presence.
And as I lift these words from these passages, did reads,
(49:43):
who shall as sin into the heel of the Lord,
Or who shall stand in his only police, He that
have clean hands and a pure heart, who has not
lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully, He
(50:07):
shall receive the blessing from the Lord and righteousness from
the God of his salvation. And verse six is this
is the generation of them that seek Him, that seek
his faith. Or there's a generation of the people that
God is raising up, that is calling out to him
(50:31):
faithfully asking God for help. And again, when you look
at and you're gonna hear me constantly keep mentioning and
determining this way, when we look at the climbing of
what our nation is having to endure right now, we
better faithfully seek God's faith, and we better faithfully seek
(50:53):
to be in His presence because it's bad, but it's
not as worse as it's going to get, you know,
so we gonna have to meet our Father to protect
us and provide for us, even when their time that
they'll exclude us. I'm talking about believers. God say it's okay.
(51:14):
I still God, you you are not alone. Believers are
admonished not to worship out of gods. Received indication only
from God and be blessed by him, sayfuly turning to
God and seeking his faith for his approval, rather than
(51:38):
seeking the applause of manion. This is the true nature
of our worship as when receive God faithfully, and every
believer should be devoted to meeting God's standards and receiving
his favor. Believers must re humble as they come before
(52:03):
God in prayer and studying the word of God. Be
safeful and truth in our relationship with Him, not straddling
offense at our convenience. Abd said these Psalms sixty three,
verse one through three. O God, thou art my God,
(52:27):
early will I seek THEE. My soul thirsteth for THEE,
my flesh longest for THEE. In a dry and thirsty
land where no water is to see Thy power and
thy glory, So as I have seen thee in the sanctuary,
(52:51):
and verse three said, because thy love and kindness is
better than life, my lips have praise deep. So when
facing trials and tribulations, or when one of the enemies attack,
(53:12):
which I'm telling y'all, those of us that got eyes
to see and is to hear, and whether be seen
on television, whether it be seen on our phones, you know,
whether it be hearing on the radio or just in
passing casual conversation. Let me tell you, there is a
lot of attacks that is coming out right now against
(53:36):
God's people, and but a lot of people are gonna
suffer because of these attacks that is being done right now. Blood,
we need to gaze upon God's power and glory, not
expecting your outcome being based on what man can do
(53:59):
right now. It a year is though, but it's being
done for those who the quote unquote powers to be,
though we know that their power is not greater than
God's power. But for the time then there are the
powers to be in this earthly realm. So we shouldn't
look for our outcome and basically on what mankind is
(54:21):
doing right now. God's love for his children is better, bigger,
and greater than light itself. So if we want God
to heal our land, then we must become thirsty enough
for His love that it causes us to turn away
(54:46):
from all manner of lust, all manner of evil, and
from all the wickedness of our own ways. So whatever
is wrong in us, we to seek God faithfully to
clean us up. He said, when we can accomplish this challenge,
(55:09):
then he will hear from Heaven forgive our sin, and
then he'll heal. Then, granted the fact that Israel continues
to struggle with faithful, alternitive God and trusting him totally
to leave us today also struggle with the same challenges
(55:34):
in the hopes of one day being healed and at
peace with Jesus Christ in eternity. So my sisters and brothers,
do not miss out on your eternal blessing trying to
meet man's expectations which is temporary. Live by faith and
(55:58):
turn unto God in every circumstance, which will eventually bring
us into the paradise of eternity with Jesus Christ. Amen,
Amen and Amen. Or we want to thank the Lord
for this word on tonight, and I believe that this
(56:19):
word have been comforting for somebody that was on this

heart is gonna change and somebody's diets is going to
be transformed because of this word. Again, we want to
