the Lord tonight. By permission of the Holy Spirit, we

(05:26):
are going to be studying tonight coming from the book
of the Gospel of Matthew, Saint Matthew, Chapter seventeen, Matthew seventeen,
and we are going to borrow Versus twenty four through

(05:47):
twenty seven. Of course, we are going to be using
other passages from other books throughout the course of our
study tonight, but these will be our foundational texts. Reading
on tonight Matthew seventeen Versus twenty four in the at

(06:09):
twenty seventies, and the word of the Lord reas this week.
And when they were come to Kaprinium, they that received
tribute money came to Peter and said, doth not your
master pay tribute? He said yes, And when he was

(06:35):
come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, what thinkest thou, Simon,
of whom do the kings of their hearth take custom
or tribute of their own children? Or of strangers? Peter

(06:58):
say it unto him? For strangers, Jesus said, unto him.
Then are the children free and very trendy? Seven. Notwithstanding,
lest we should offend them, go thou to the seat

(07:19):
and cast and hook and take up the fish that
first cometh up. And when thou hast opened his mouth,
thou shalt find a piece of money that pick, and
give unto them for me and thee all blessed the

(07:47):
Lord on tonight. Our topic for our Bible study tonight
is provision from uncommon places. Provision from uncommon places, And

(08:09):
as we even share that's topic tonight, I believe there's
somebody on this line tonight that needs something from the Lord,
and you just don't know where it is going to
come from. And you've been putting things before the Lord
for quite SnO wild and you've been struggling. The Lord

(08:30):
wants you to know tonight and stop worrying about that thing.
Stop dropping tears about that thing. Go to sleep that night,
stop tossing them to turning. Because you serve a God
that can bring you a provision from an uncommon place,
something you haven't even thought about. God knows how that was, Brough,

(08:53):
meaning he knows how to create, even you out of
your own mouth. If you have the safety you will
you your SEPs and your words are creative. You can
budle Rough. You can create something by faith by what
you see. He said, call it to your faith. Be
it unto you, heavy Louis. He said, you can have

(09:16):
whatever you say. So I say to you to not
start creating some stuff in the name of Jesus, but
consult the Lord first and you start. Butler Rough, go
ahead and start creating something by faith. Now that we
got that out of the way and out of my spirit,

(09:37):
somebody needed to hear that. Let us go onto our
discussion on tonight in our PreTect scriptures of this same chapter,
in verses twenty two and twenty three, Jesus was talking
to his disciples, and he for tells of his death

(10:02):
and his resurrections, and as it's important that we know
that we know that Jesus was alive, but he needed
for these fellows to know that I'm gonna leave y'all
one day. I'm gonna I'm gonna check out. I'm not
gonna be with y'all forever, but I'm gonna be gone

(10:22):
for just a little while. But he talked about his death,
but he said, but you know, I'm gonna be resurrect
but I'm coming back. You know, I'm not gonna be
gone always. I'm coming back. The text reads this way
in twenty two and twenty three, and wow, they are
bode in Galilee. Jesus said, unto them again, the disciples,

(10:49):
the son of Man shall be betrayed into the hands
of men, and they shall kill him, and the third
day he shall be raised again. He said that I

(11:10):
am the son of Maid. Was talking about himself. He's
gonna be portrayed into the hands of men. We very
well know that it was not a stranger that betrayed him.
It was Judas. It was someone who followed him the
whole time. Okay, was one of his own disciples, someone

(11:34):
he called friend. So be careful who you choose to
be in your circle. And when the Lord chooses to
take somebody out of your circle, don't be upset about that,
because sometimes they had to leave. It wasn't that they
walked the lead. God chased them away from you because

(11:56):
he knows that they means. You know, good, Okay, he said,
but the third day he shall be raised again. He's
coming back, and they were exceeding. Sorry, that upset them.
It upset the disciples share that. But but it was

(12:16):
with purpose. It had to be that way. It was
off the strained. It was already planned by Jesus and
his father for it to be that way. See, sometime
the Lord he comes and he prepares us for a thing,
and then he will leave us on our own, so
we can be tested out to see what we can

(12:38):
do without him, because now he has equipped us and
we have what we need. And sometimes he says, now,
let me see that you put that to work by faith.
But I have already equipped you to do. The Bible
says that all things are possible for them that can believe.

(13:01):
So now you've got the faith. So now you put
your faith in action and start bruning something and see
what you can get to come to pass in significance
that right in the middle of his teaching about prayer, fasting, provisions,
and miracles, that Jesus interjected this prophecy about his coming

(13:26):
death and his resurrations. Well think about it. All though
prophetic at that time, it proclaims, get this, get this,
don't don't don't miss this. It proclaimed the greatest message
concerning provision from uncommon places. I don't want you to

(13:53):
miss this. This greatest miracle will come by the cross
from the grief. The greatest miracle was after Jesus died
he rose again. Oh he rose again. And when he

(14:14):
rose he rose. We're all our not sum, but all
power in heaven and earth in his hands. Now this
brings me to our by the study discussion tonight, provisions
from uncommon places. Who would think that of blessing or

(14:36):
a provision for us would come from a grieving Oh Gosh, God,
our Jehovah Zirah, the one who provides all of our
needs according to his richest in glory by his son
Christ Jesus again who was betrayed into the hands of

(14:59):
men by his friend, put to death, buried, and resurrected
from the grave on the third d. That's what he is,
still the only mirror, the worker, providing miracles from uncommon
places for you and me and all of the people

(15:25):
even today. When we look again at verse twenty four,
there again it reads, and when they were come to
earth Platurnium, they that received tribute money came to Peter

(15:47):
and said, does not your master paid tribute? After they
left the Mouth of Transfiguration from Galilee and they got
to Fraternium, they ran into some people, and these were
the tax collectors. Yeah, the tax collect the love of money.

(16:11):
They approached Peter. They didn't go to Jesus the Master.
They went to Peter the Disciple. They didn't know how
bad Peter was, but they went to Peter and they asked, Peter,
does your master pay tax to the temple. Every Jew

(16:34):
was supposed to pay taxes every year, and the mound
of the taxes at that time was only thirty two cents,
but that was a whole lot of money. In the
Bibloca times, every Jew had to pay thirty two cents
every year. They paid temper tax, and they paid those

(16:57):
taxes to make offering, not to the law now didn't
get the office of the lawyer, but be paid taxes,
so that they had paid tribute to the king. And
the king at that time was Caesar. Now Jesus tells
us in Luke six and thirty eight, this is significant
as a part of this giving tribute, because our tribute

(17:20):
is different now and we have to God have to
asked us for a whole lot more. And he tells
us in Luke six thirty eight, D's are the words
of Jesus himself. He said, give, and it shall be
given unto you. Good measure, pressed down and shaken together

(17:40):
running over, shall men give into your bosom for with
the same measure that you meet with, or it shall
be measured to you again. So in the vemblica day
they were asked to give tribute to the temple tax

(18:01):
for the king. But now where we give tax, he
tells us to bring it to the storehouse, and he
wants us to give it, and he said that men
should give it back to us. They said nothing about
anything being given back to them when they gave it
to the temple because it all went to the king.
W rewards will be given to us. Now the Lord

(18:24):
is saying, when we give it in Jesus' name, they
shaken together and it will be running over. And he said,
whatever you give, I give it back to you in
double measure. Think about that now. Was it possible to
think about the passage the scripture? Was it possible that

(18:45):
in the tax collectors that they were insinuating that Jesus
and the disciples were just poor people plume it to
the temple to pay tax, that they were just poor people.
Sometimes the way we look, sometimes the way we dress,
you know, we don't look like everybody else. People did

(19:07):
they take on off or thought about us that they
don't look like us. That's why we better be careful
how we think about people, or how we treat people
that come into our presence. Even the Bible says be
careful how you entertain strangers, but you may be entertaining

(19:27):
angels Unaware these tax collectors, they did not realize who
they were in the presence of Okay, after all, they
didn't really know who Jesus was. They know that they
called him Jesus but they really didn't know who Jesus was.

(19:50):
They did not realize that they were in the midst
of the richest man. Or even though he did not
carry points in a money sack, he possessed the power.
This is it. He possessed the power to miraculously cause

(20:19):
creative acts and call money forth. Or we're gonna get
to the corrupx of this old messister Knight about provisions
from uncommon places. He had the power to vacuuously cause
a creative act and called money forth. They were in

(20:46):
the presence of one who could speak provision from uncommon places.
Use your voice. God have given you the power to
use your voice. He's saying, whatever you say, you can
have whatever you say, but to love, speak it by

(21:08):
faith and believe that God can do for you whatever
you speak from your my belief that He's able to
do it. He tells us, put me in remembrance of
the promises that I have made unto you. Come on, now,
that's his word. See, we got to feed him for

(21:29):
what he says. He don't care nothing about anything we
make up. We stop God to stop going to the
Lord with these little fairy tale that we make up,
and go to him and thank God, gonna hear us.
He don't want to hear our little fairy tales. He says,
put me in remembers of the promises. Give me back
what I say when we go back to God with

(21:51):
his own word. God know his word when he heard
it right, because that's what he says, that's what he says.
Put me in remembers of what I say it because
that's the promise I made. Don't bring me your fairy
tales because I didn't promise you that. Okay, I hope
we're getting this tonight. Okay, look at verse twenty fiveand

(22:15):
what did he say at verse for the five? He
now this was Peter talking right here, he said, yet
he was talking. This was a response back to the
taxi labor. He said, yes. And when he was come
into the house the temple, Jesus preventing him saying, what

(22:37):
bank is done, simon a warm through the cave of
the earth. Can't custom or trivial. They're on children or austranger.
What was the Lord saying me in this conversation that
he was heavy with Peter. They're questioning you, Peter, about

(22:58):
whether or not I pay taxes well, Peter, what do
you think about who do they pay any taxes? To?
Do they pay taxes? Say anybout what is their custom?
Does the Kings say? Now he just say anything about
the tax electors brand He said, what kind of tax
do the Kings pay? What are their custom or? Peter

(23:27):
replied to the tax collector, yes, my master teacher, he
pays his taxes. And when they came in the temple,
Jesus inquired, Peter, what was the custom of the Kings

(23:51):
for fans? They taxes? See all those Jesus prevented, Peter,
whatever you're saying mining before for Peter even responded to
detect the electors before Jesus. Before Peter even responded to Jesus. See,
Jesus already knew what Jesus was going to do. He
already knew the outcome of what that conversation was going

(24:14):
to be. Where they even questioned Peter, Jesus already knew
we're going to fix this or you know, we don't
want no problems with these tax collectors. I don't want
to messing with my disciples. I don't want no trouble
because we came to this temple here to do the
thing that was racked that every time, if we had noticed,

(24:35):
every time Jesus had his disciples with him, he used
every moment as a moment to teach them something. So
he did not ever want them to ever walk out
of his presence and not be able to take something
away from being with him that they could not use
later on where he left them in this world, that

(24:58):
they could say, Okay, I remember this is what Jesus
did when he was in this situation. This is what
he taught us. We can use this. I want you
to remember that tonight. Use every moment to with somebody
as a moment to teach them. Not to take away
anything from them, no matter if it seems that he's

(25:19):
a negative connotation or if it's something that is positive.
When you say that you belong to the Lord, use
every moment that you're in the presence of somebody else.
You're the ones that say you are the carrier of
the light. Used every moment to be a teaching moment
for somebody else, so Peter. Before Peter even responded, Jesus

(25:42):
gave the answer. In anticipation of what Peter was going
to say, Jesus already gave the answer, Jesus said, for
the Cans received tempered taxes from their own children or
those paying taxes, implying they paid there's no taxes or
any registration themselves. The temper taxes were made for tribute

(26:07):
to Caesar. According to Matthew, that's prove that that they
paid the tribute to the king. They didn't make no
tithes and no offerings, or didn't pay no tribute anything
to God. Now this is the law of house. But
they were taking up money. They made sure they took

(26:28):
up taxes so they could pay it, made tribute to
the king. When would look at Matthew twenty two versus
seventeen through twenty one. It proves it there. It tells
us therefore, what think's doubt? Is it lawful to give

(26:48):
tribute unto Caesar or not? But Jesus perceived their wickedness,
not the Pharisees, And he said, why can he mean hypocrits,
show me the tribute money. See Jesus always why you

(27:12):
always use it? Wisdom? He didn't get in no argument.
He did not debate with the people. He always thought,
in a wise way. I want to come out of
every conversation a winner. We don't have to always argue
with people. We don't have to debate with people. We
always want to come out on the top as the winner.

(27:33):
That's why we want to be in the light. Always
bring them into the light. Don't ever let them draw
you back into the dark place where they are. We
are to bring them out of the dark place into
the light where we are. And they brought unto him
a penny, And he said, unto them, whoos is the

(27:55):
image and superscriptions? They say, unto him, sees this is Caesar.
Faith on this money, then say he unto them render Therefore,
unto Seesar the things which are Caesars, and unto God
the things that are God said, there was a reason

(28:17):
that they was questioning Jesus and Peter about this. Coeen.
Remember the point being mad tonight is that Jesus can
and will meet provision from uncommon places. He did not
need to use the source nor the tactics of men

(28:38):
to meet his need. In these verses, the Pharisees were
attempting to set Jesus up by allegations against Roman rules
and laws. He, in turn, Jesus was so smart, we

(28:59):
got to be wise. Mushu's wisdom, he would be brought
now if he has spoken something different than what he did.
If he had not your wisdom, he would have been
brought before see for breaking the law. In Jesus divine wisdom,

(29:22):
he was saying to them this, Well, since you know
whose coin it is, then why are you questioning me?
Then you need to just take action honestly and accordingly
give the money back to Caesar. And also in doing that,

(29:43):
you'll be rhythmic unto Seesar and unto God to think
that belong to God. If this is not God money,
If this is sees the faith on this coin, this
coin belonged to secut. So why would I debate with
you you about who should receive this money? When I

(30:04):
look at this coin and I see Caesar's faith and
his superscription that is on this coin, I know myself
that this coin belongs to Caesar. And had Jesus said
anything different than they would have said that he spoke
against Caesar, and they would have brought him before the

(30:26):
king that brought him up to say that he broke
the law if Jesus. If Jesus had answered for Caesar again,
they would have said that he retaliated against him, and
then they would have brought them along with the Romans
and the Herodians, all of them would have retaliated against

(30:48):
Jesus and they would have accused him of breaking the law.
That's why we need to be careful in the way
that we answer when people question us about something, especially
when they're trying to catch us see something wrong. We
don't always have to have a clap back at people

(31:08):
because they try to set us up. We need to
learn how to zip it and lock it because sometimes
people try to set us up and take us down.
We need to learn how to be silent. Silence is golden.
We need to be quiet and listen more and talk less.
Let them do it talking so you can hear what

(31:29):
they're saying. And while they're doing all the talking, let
wisdom speak for you. And sometimes we just need to
be quiet. Every question. Do not deserve entertained and get
an answer from us. We need to wait and let
wisdom speak on our behalf. That's what Jesus did. Okay,

(31:49):
he said, give the money, give the money back to
see some However, by his answer, which was spoken with
divine wisdom, both God and Sesa retained their tribute even
the people, even the people that heard it, that was

(32:10):
around it by they urged the conversation. They were edified.
Why because of the manifestation of Jesus's wisdom through one
through one on this way. They did not expect that
kind of wisdom to come from Jesus because they thought
Jesus just a person, just a man walking around like
everybody else. They didn't know that they had missed the

(32:33):
wisdom himself walking around in their presence. Again, he provided
wisdom from a place uncommon to the Pharisees. Because the Pharisees,
because they were supposed to be Pharisees and the christ
they were supposed to be scholars of the law. They

(32:55):
was not expecting Jesus to be that to have that
much wisdom. They did not know that they had the
law book walking there in their presence. They were not
expecting that from him. So he provided wisdom. There was
another provision from an uncommon place, the place in Jesus

(33:18):
that was also See we always think about things, we
talk about provision, but you better know that wisdom is
also a provision. That's one of the best provisions that
God can ever provide for you. Is wisdom and sometimes
they clung from us an uncommonplace that people would never

(33:40):
expect that we would have that kind of sense, that
we don't always flap out lives so much. We need
to be quiet sometime and let wisdom speak. Let wisdom
hear what is being said and get all the facts.
Sometimes we speak too quick. We need to listen, and

(34:01):
that wisdom here and then after all they said and done,
then that wisdom speak after all they said, and you'd
be surprised. People would be totally shocked. Where we do
open our mouth and let the holy spirits speak for us?
And they were, Oh, I know, I know, they didn't
say that, they would be totally surprised. That's how you

(34:24):
learn how to shut people down. Shock them. Bell ef button.
When I ef Hutton, they say, then say money. But
when he did speak, people sat up and listen because
they were not expecting those things to come out of
his mouth. When we look at Verse to the Sea,

(34:45):
we get a little bit deep into some other things
of how the Lord provided provision from uncoming places. Did
say unto him? Or strangers replying back to Jesus, Genis
said under him, well, then if they get their temple

(35:06):
taxes from strangers. Then are the children free? What was
Jesus saying there when he was saying that the children
are free? Well, since this temper tax is leaded for

(35:26):
the temple, of which the peple, that Jesus come at
him right here, now, y'all this that is well? Then,
since this temple tax is leaded for the temple, uh
which I am the Lord Jesus, I own the temple.

(35:47):
For get this all. I own the temple, and at
the temple the taxes is paid for the temple. I
am the Lord. Then I am not over blind to
pay any taxes. I'm not allowed to get it to
pay any tax because the temple belonged to me anyway,

(36:09):
So how dare you expect me to pay any taxes anyway?
But he went a little third ellman or to keep
on list and keep your ears for up. See, when
you know what you know what you know, you act
of county. But you still do not have to act
out of character. That's why you need to wait on

(36:31):
wisdom and let the Lord meet the provision for you.
Out up on the common place, Jim saying out the temple,
I own the temple, that y'all here the marrying of
people to make these taxes for it. And you're gonna
give these taxes to the king. The king gone own

(36:51):
the temple, ay, the Lord, I own this temple where
y'all come and worship at. This temple was built for me,
not for the say, Okay, oh God, I don't want
to get too excited. I'm sorry, y'all like I'm getting
a little bit over the excited here. And he said,

(37:12):
and my disciples, like the priests and the missures that
minister here in this temple, they also should be exempted
from pain and a tax us. All so, because the
prince and the that that minister, they should be ministering

(37:37):
about law. Then on on the temple either the temple
is my he said. However, but sometimes there needs to
be a butt said. This is what keeps us out
of trouble. The butt sometimes helps us to see our mouth.

(37:58):
The butt sometimes help sister to remember, let wisdom speak.
Sometimes that butt clause need to be there so I
can remember. I need to listen it and instead of
respond right now, I need to hear what's being said.
Really over talking the person that's coming after me. I
don't like that, butt says, I don't need to go

(38:20):
back at them. I don't need to retaliate. I need
to slow my rope. So sometimes there needs to be
a butt. I know I'm right, That's why sometimes I
need to put that butt there. We don't have to
defend where we knew be right. We don't have to
go into that defense mood. Sometimes you just need to
be quiet and let them say what they need to say,

(38:43):
and put that butt clause and say, look um, I
want to respond butt um and shut that out down. Okay,
he said butt to not cause any offense, we will
pay the temple tax. Excuse me, I need a little

(39:04):
simple ball now, I got so excited. But not to
call any offense. We will pay the temple tax. This
is this is in my summary of it. We came
here in peace, not to make war. This is what

(39:24):
the whole scenario is, y'all. As Christians, because we depend
on the Lord to always give up provision for us
from uncommon places that the supernatural for us if it
is necessary, we don't ever have to retaliate. We don't
have to fight, we don't have to defend. We just

(39:44):
have to stand still inte di stabinations of the Lord.
So here even Jesus said, so that we don't call
any offense. He said, this is my our own, this temple.
But if they say that we got to pay these
temper tax were gonna pay them. We don't want to
offend nobody. He said, we did not come to meet

(40:07):
no warm We come for the sake of peace. They
didn't even know that they were talking to the one
who created provision from uncommonplaces, the one that provided for others,

(40:27):
not caused them to suffer any lost. After all, he
called provision supernaturally from uncommon places. Ride Hittman. I remember
in Exodus chapter seventeen Versus four through six, when God's

(40:51):
people was thirsty in a dry place, he performed a miracle.
He created provision from an uncoming place. The scriptures read,
and Moses cried unto the Lord's saying, what shall I
do unto this seapot? They be more ready to stone me,

(41:15):
And the Lord say, under Moses, go before the people
and take with thee of the elders of Israel and
thy Rod, where with thy motives the river, take in

(41:37):
thy hands, and go behold. I will spend before thee
upon the rock in Horior, and thy shall smack the rock,
and there shall come water out of it that the

(42:02):
people may drink. And Moses this soul in the sight
of the if elders of Israel. Now let me tell
you something. The people was in the wilderness. The people
were thirsty. The people was carried on so bad as Moses.
Moses said, Lord, what am I gonna do with deceiple?

(42:24):
These people come up against me and they thurstay they
heart out here and there's wilderness. There ain't no water
out here. The people need some water they drink. They
ready to stone me to death. What am I supposed
to do? The lords in Moses, if you listen at
me and do what I say. I'm gonna p a
farm a miracle. I'm gonna do something supernatural. I'm gonna

(42:48):
call for provision from an uncommon place. Tell me, have
you ever seen water come out of a rock? You
might have seen it floor around the rock, might seeing
that flow across the tower fall of the rock. You
might have seen water flow out from on the rock.
But tell me, have you ever seen a rock with
the water coming out of a solid rock? He said, Moses,

(43:14):
I want you to go to the rock. The rod
in your hand that the same one that you struck
the Red Sea with. And when you did that, I
divided the waters and I gave a dry road to
walk across in the middle of water. Y'all walk across
the Red Sea on dry land. That sand rod that

(43:37):
you use. I want you to go and stand before
the rock at my whole red and hit that rock.
And when you do, I'm gonna stand on the top
of the rock. I'm gonna be standing on the rock.
You may not see me, but I'm gonna be standing
on the rock. But by faith morns have been lead.
Oh God here, just leave that. God was gonna be

(43:58):
standing on the rock. And when he hit the rock,
walls came spelling out of the rock. Can't you just
see it? Can't you see just a vision? Envision right
now the wall's coming stealing out of that rock. Hellnlujah says,

(44:20):
we better believe God is able. He is able to
cause provisions to come for us out of fun common places.
We just have to believe it. See if we need
to live in Missouri, who because that's to show me state.
We just that those people need to Missouri and we

(44:40):
don't see, we ain't gonna believe it. But we got
to believe it before we see it. Even if we
don't see it, believe for it until that happens. That's
what he brews the level and one's all about it.
We love it for that spirit. It's about faith. And
we'll skip that first or three in the other word that
in ordu it, but not that what he means. Now,
even before you see it, believe it right now, even

(45:02):
when you come up in your thought. Now, now is
the time for you to leave it before you even
see it. Now you believe it. Moses had to believe
that the water was gonna come out that rock because
the Lord told him, I'm gonna be standing on the rock.
I'm gonna meet you at that rock, and I'm gonna
be standing there. All I need you to do is
go there and strike that rock with that rod and

(45:23):
see if the water don't come out, so the people
can drink and don't be thirsty, so they won't kill you.
Pay attention to people. The Lord is talking to us tonight.
He want to provide something for us from uncommonplace, someplace
you ain't even thought about it. And sometimes the Lord
be talking to us and it don't make sense to
us oh, and then we'll afoord that that Lord that

(45:45):
don't even sound right, that that don't even make no sense.
And then we'll go and we'll quattion other people and say, well,
I don't know whether the Lord is talking to me
or not, but he says, oh, let me tell you something.
People can't explain what the Lord trying to tell you.
If you got any questions about you better ask the Lord,
because people cannot read God's mind. If you got a

(46:05):
questions about what you think the Lord is saying to you,
ask the Lord, because the Lord is the only one
who can make explanations for what he's say. Nobody else can.
Let us go to our last verse, verse twenty seven,
not restanding, but he said, the Lord said, Jesus said,
we don't want to make no trouble for nobody no

(46:26):
reason want to do what it's right, not reithstanding, lest
we should offend them. Look at this, Judy, please listen.
That is he said, go thou to This is Jesus
talking to Peter. He said, go goud to the sea
and cast and hook and take up the That first,

(46:53):
that verse, I'm if on this line that word first
to me, And when thou hast opened his mouth, thou
shall find a piece of money, that take and give
unto them for me and thee mind you out each one.

(47:19):
Each individual was supposed to pay thirty two cents every
year for the temper tax, so that meaning they had
to find double the money in the fish mouth. Notice,
he said, when you go look in the fish over,
get that fish. But he said the first one, not

(47:39):
any of them. Don't reach in there and try to
find the biggest one, because it could have been the
smallest one. He said, But the first one that come
up in the fish mouth. Say the first fish that
comes up in that or when you go throw it,
throw it in there. When you cast at that hook, God,
you had to get on the hook. I want you
to get that fish, and I want you to look

(48:01):
in his mouth, and you're gonna find the money. Well,
Jesus didn't carry a money stack again, or he did
not carry a man's wallet. His disciples were fishermen. All
of them were fishermen. As they traveled, they ate the
catch at the end of the day. That was their meal.

(48:24):
Now they are faced with the necessity for paying these
temple taxes, but don't have the funds to give the
tax collector over myw But see in Jesus' own words
the word of God the Bible saying that, and plip

(48:46):
in four nineteen, and we see we're gonn to quote
this is what we want to believe it. We see
say a whole lot of Bibles, but the majority of
what we say we don't believe it no way. But
for the sake of tonight when we when we said this,
the word of God said f Elevetan four nineteen. But
my God shell supply all your need according to his

(49:09):
richest in glory by Christ Jesus. This was a Jesus time.
Jesus needed some funds because he did not want to
offend these tax collectors about this their money to pay
these temper taxes the high many know that when you

(49:30):
travel with Jesus by faith, your needs are already met.
Oh I study in my spirit. Somebody just started jumping
up and down right there. He ain't gonna when you
can't see it, but you know him as the one
who called provisions from uncommon places. I don't know if

(49:53):
there's any people on this line that goes fishing. You
ever found anything any money in a fish? Mouth from
now all you're gonna probably be if you'll go find it,
get into fishing. You're probably gonna be looking into fish
mouth and see if you can find in the money.
In this passage, Jesus is tructed Peter to go on
a task, go fishing and leaving his term. That's what

(50:15):
he was saying. We ain't gonna be made shame Peter,
because we know how we do it. What we do
and get supernatural results. Jesus told Peter, go fishing. Cast
the hook, not a net. The first fish you see

(50:36):
come up, catch it, pull it in, open his mouth.
There you will find six the four cent Remember each
one of them had to pay thirty cents. You're gonna
find six to four cents, which will be a shefeld.
It's gonna be enough money for you and for me

(50:57):
to pay the temper tax. That is wow. Somebody said,
what money in the mouth of the fish? Dash right
exactly way Jesus told him that he was gonna find it.
Talking about provision from an uncommon police, only Jesus to

(51:17):
do such a thing as this, This was a real miracle.
Jesus and his father are in the business of sending
provisions from uncommon places examples that we're gonna close this
thing tonight. Come here, Elijah. Elijah was served them by

(51:42):
a raven by sitting by the brook of waters at
the brook of Sirah. Come here, matter and quail falling
from heaven to feed the Israelite while they was in
the wilderness hungry Jesus. Esus fed five thousand pluck people,

(52:04):
beginning with five loads of bread and two little fish,
a lot of boy lunch. That's all he had. Hear
what I'm saying. There was by the sea of Tiberius.
According to John chapter six and veris one. The background

(52:24):
of that says Tibarius is a city on the western
shore of the sea up Gallilee, from which the sea
got its name. When Jesus saw the multitude followed him,
he as fil he very five, when shall we dried bread?

(52:48):
That leads me you was concerned about the people. They
were so faithful. Ain't following him? They tell you something.
When you're faithful to the Lord, He'll just do something,
just a blessing. Just because she was so faithful, he
will provide you a provision from an uncommon place. He'll
just give you a duod of rock. Be twenty eight blessings.
He'll tell his blessing and chase you down and overtake you,

(53:11):
just because you're faithful. See Jesus already knowing he was
going to provide an uncommon miracle. Philip responded, there was
not enough to feed the multitude, And it was not
at the moment that Philical see not enough to feed

(53:31):
the multitude, however, and drew. Peter's brother said in verse nine,
now I want you to pay attention. She'll come to
uncom a provision. There is a last year. We have
five bodyloads and two small fish. Now we're talking about
the multitude. The little boy ain't had up for five

(53:55):
loads of breaths and two little fish. But what are
they among? So many said, how are we gonna feed
all this? Most too with that little bit Jesus In
the next verse, in verse ten, my wht Jesus. Jesus
was not shape at all, he responded, met the men

(54:17):
sat down, and the rest was history. Everybody ate and
everybody was filled, Jesus said. After everybody had eaten and
was full, Jesus said, now get the baskets and gather
up the leftover us. Don't waste in and same verse

(54:43):
thirteen tells the story. Therefore, after everybody had eaten, and
they had gathered up everything, therefore they gathered them together,
filled twelve baskets with the fragment that was left over
of the five bodies loose, and the two little fishes

(55:06):
which rentled over and above. Unto them, Dad had eaten
just a little quick transparent testimony. Years and years ago,
when I was younger, much much younger, play on a
softball team. I needed some money for a water bier.
Didn't have my one red cent in my pocket. Was

(55:27):
running across the ballfield to go getting on the ball field.
One of my girlfriends was running in front of me,
and the dad told me, he said, stop running and
start walking. And while she was still running, I just
stopped and I started walking, and unbeknown to me, he said,
and I got to a place, he said, I start
and look down, and I stopped walking. I looked down
on the ground and I saw that money was on

(55:48):
the ground, he said. I reached down to picked that
money up, and I just stuck it in my pocket.
When I got on and I opened the money, it
was an exact amount of money that I heartn I
ain't gonna over dard the exact amount of money that
I needed for my water. Bill was on the ground
talking about God made provisions from an uncommon place on

(56:09):
the ball field. You hear what I'm saying. That's kind
of God we served, y'all. You see when the Lord
paul provision from un palmer places, there is not just enough,
but there is always and no aflow. Oh, bless the
name of the Lord. We thank God tonight. But this word,
we thank God for all of you who's on the

(56:31):
line to hear this word tonight or I feel y'all
on this line now. Somebody's shouting right now. Somebody's running
around in their house right now. I know this. This
don't reach no water, don't reach a no finisure, nobody.
It's okay shouting and praise the Lord because I know this. This,
this word blessed somebody to night. And I believe in
my heart that somebody's heart tonight is gonna change because
of this word, and somebody's life is going to be

(56:53):
transformed because it was on this line tonight and that
they heard this word. God is gonna provide for you
provisions from an uncommon place, a place that you haven't
even thought about yet, and the place that you're gonna think, oh,
this is don't make no sense. That sometimes God do
things that don't make no sense. It don't make no
sense to us, but it makes sense to God. Because

(57:13):
God does uncommon thing. He do something that this don't
make no sense. He'll do some things that's gonna blow
your mind and knock your socks off of your feet.
