Wednesday Night Recap - Break Trauma Bonds: Find Your True Self - Episode 11.76

This Show is now Dedicated to us, The Average, Everyday American just trying to build a peaceful, productive, and safe life in this country. The Federal Government is being weaponized against us, by our fellow Americans that have given up on democracy and freedom. It's plain to see that at this point that you're either for freedom, or against it, and that's fascism. The same thing that caused WW2.

The Check-In

- Still looking for my next opportunity. Had an interview, and waiting on a second interview.

Had to turn down an interview for a job I probably would have liked, but they test for THC
and I don’t get it. Do they test for alcohol? What year is it?

-Just found out about a major family issue! In my opinion, this could have been handled differently.

Ultimately everything is everything right now and I’m working my plan.

Dr. Becky SpelmanOvercoming trauma bonding can be difficult and may require professional support. Here are some steps that may help:1. Acknowledge the abuse: Recognize that the relationship is abusive and that the abuser's behavior is not acceptable or your fault.2. Seek support: Reach out to trusted friends, family members, or a therapist who can provide emotional support and guidance.3. Create distance: Limit contact with the abuser and avoid situations that may trigger memories or feelings of attachment.4. Practice self-care: Prioritize self-care activities such as exercise, meditation, and healthy eating to manage stress and promote healing.5. Identify and challenge negative beliefs: Work with a therapist to identify and challenge negative beliefs and thought patterns that may be contributing to the trauma bond.6. Set boundaries: Set clear boundaries with the abuser and communicate them assertively.Remember that healing from trauma bonding takes time and effort, but with support and self-care, it is possible to move forward and build healthier relationships.
