Speaker 1 (00:07):
Then warn your back doors.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Hey y'all, and welcome to Treasure Vortex Podcasts with Gypsy
Jewels from YouTube's zero discrimination, as well as her website
gypsydigs dot com, and myself, Amanda Digger Degauze. Sorry about
last week. We had hope to catch back up, but
things alast did not work out. So we are coming
to semi life Monday, August twenty fifth. And I know
(01:43):
I haven't been able to catch up with Gypsy in
like two weeks. So hey, Gypsy, how are you this evening?
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Hey, I'm doing good, doing good. I am out of state.
I'm on the road again.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Busy b is what you are.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
I am so uh yesterday I was in uh in Missouri.
Now I'm in Kansas headed to Colorado.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
So yeah, crazy, that's fine, that's fun.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
Well, it is fun. It's a fun adventure for sure.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Oh man. So well, what what can be divulged to
any zero.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Well, i'd say first before we get to what I'm
into right now, and we can talk a little bit
about So I was able to get out last week
and I got you knows as you know, And I
think I might have said something on the previous podcast
I can't remember that I had the new five x
(02:58):
eight ripper coil for my Voorde tracks yep that I
picked up at Garrett Manufacturer, and it's still not available yet,
so everybody's still doing a little bit of testing that
it should be available very soon on the market. And
(03:19):
I'm using the new which I did get to test
the prototype back when, of the new c S three
z Link headphones, and of course those will hit any
of the Garrett z Link they'll they'll work on any
of the z Link detectors as well as if you
(03:42):
don't have a machine that hooks up to z Link,
you can always you know, the box unit that has
the exterior z Link thing and you can use that
on any detector that doesn't have to be if you
buy the external to work with any of the z
(04:02):
link products like z link uh pin pointer, so you
can hear it in your headphones as well as you know,
the headphones themselves.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
I didn't know that about the z link.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
Yeah, yeah, so you get the exter unit, you can
use it on whatever machine you've got. But you know,
the good thing about you know, the the vortex it's
built in also is the you know the at max
as well as the yeapacks is built in. So anyway, yeah,
(04:41):
I've been using that and I tested out and I
found a really cool fine and I got that video up,
so if you haven't checked it out, it's available now
on my YouTube channel zero discrimination. And I think the
title is testing you know whatever you know says it
in the title, so you'll be able to check that
(05:03):
out and see what I find. Nice. So got that
video up last week sometime.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, yep, I think it was either Wednesday or Thursday.
You got it up.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Yeah, And then the good news is is that my
hunt is on. I finally secured the location. It is
in Edna, Texas, which is South Texas. Really great historical area.
I mean, the history in that whole area is flipping
amazing because you've got everything right there on the coast.
(05:41):
It's write down by the coast, and so you've got
all these historical figures that came in, you know, on
boats there and to those ports long long ago, and
like Stephen F. Austin and all of these different you
know that you'll find on the tech's history and US
(06:03):
history in fact came up through that area. So fascinating
history in the whole area there, but the hunt will
be at a location right outside of Edna, Texas. Edna
is a small town but really neat little town and
(06:28):
the main headquarters where the meet and greet will be
at will be inside a steakhouse there that is at
an RV park, and the RV park is running a
special if anybody wants to stay at the RV park,
it's twenty five dollars for the weekend. You just use
code Gypsy and the contact number is on my website
for that to reserve that. And they are even allowing camping,
(06:53):
like if you want to camp out at one of
the RB spots, So if you wanted to bring in
like a tent and camp out and there be water
electricity there as well. It is twenty five for the weekend.
So a really cool thing. And then the meet and greet. Now,
the charge for the barbecue meal is separate because I've
(07:13):
got someone that's catering all that that will have it
there at the restaurant and so they'll just need to
bring either cash for the meal or or i think
it's fifteen dollars a plate something like that for the meal,
or they can pay there I think credit card or
(07:34):
debit card or whatever however, but that'll be separate from
the hunt, and and probably you know, if anybody wants
to dress up for Halloween, they can. That'll probably be
some sort of award for that. I haven't figured all
that out yet, and I'm still not sure if there's
(07:58):
going to be a night hunt that night, but still
trying to figure that out. But anyway, we shall see.
But anyway, I'm really excited about the hunts. It will
be one seventy five per person. Twelve and under can
hunt for free with adult supervision of course, and anyway,
(08:24):
that's pretty much that the first part of the hunt
on Saturday will be. So it's a giant cornfield and
did a little research. Pretty sure there was an old
house there. It looks like some other barns and stuff
(08:44):
there as well at one time. But anyway, giant field,
which you know, will be of course seated with loads
of silver that morning silver and prize tokens, and then
that afternoon will break for limit of field will be reseeded,
so anything not found, of course, you'll still be able
(09:05):
to find that and any prize token is still out there,
but we'll recede the field for a Bingo Prize thing,
along with of course more prize tokens and more silver,
and that evening won't be just all silver. I'll be
seating it with also Indian head pennies and buffalo nickels
and be nickels and prize tokens. But anyway, for the
(09:33):
for the Bingo thing, which will also include you know,
things for prize, for cash prizes, et cetera.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
No nice, do you want to explain bingo to anybody
who doesn't know what you're talking about when you're talking.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
So if anybody's ever everybody will that is a pay
paid participant of the hunt will receive a Bingo card.
And let's just give an example of like if you're
out in the yield, and let's say one of the
bengos is like an Indian head penny, and then a
b nickel, and then maybe a silver Mercury dime, and
(10:12):
then maybe a Rosie dime, and then maybe the last
one is a buffalo nickel, and that would be like
the five in a row. I'm sure there'll be like
a free one in the middle, et cetera. So they'll
give people an extra chance and then they will come
show that and then mark it off and then we
(10:32):
will they'll be able to catch it in for that
bingo produce. So I think it'll be a lot of fun.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Yeah, it is a lot of fun. We've done it
at we did actually have used the We've done the
pingo at some natural hunts and that's even I mean
just strictly natural, not any seated, and it's been it's
been difficult. And then some people do I mean some
groups have had the post where it's like a month
or something like that. And the bingo is a lot
(11:02):
of fun. It's a lot of fun, and it adds
a separate, like, I don't know, a level to it
that makes it makes it interesting.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Right, it really does. And I don't know. You sent
me like a example card and I'm not I don't
want to, you know, make I don't like planting relics.
I like using relics of prizes. But I was thinking
I could do keys as one and then maybe even
have like if you get five keys to you, you know,
(11:35):
get it extra prize. I don't know, that would be fun.
Keys would be easy to plant out there is an
extra thing besides you know, coins and tokens, etcetera. So
we shall see.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
That's awesome, we shall see.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
But it's always it's just an extra little added thing
to someone gets each person to has the opportunity to
maybe get an extra little prize on the side. So
because of course there'll be lots of fun stuff to
find out there along with the prizes. I did find out,
you know, Garrett, I think I think Miguel is going
(12:14):
to be one that comes for Garrett again, so I'm
sure he'll be setting up the tent. And they usually
bring at least you know, two metal detectors. I'm sure
they'll be given away of vortex, and then you know,
they always give away a couple of pinpointers, a couple
of shovels, and you know the norm where they always
(12:39):
give away the hats and the gloves and it's it's
always you know, fun. They always give away lots of
amazing prizes. And I haven't heard from my lab from
Debbie yet. I'm hoping she can make it, but I'm
pretty sure. I've put out the word to my friend
hot Mess Fishing, so she's working on not Good to
(13:00):
see if they can send her. So it'd be great
if she can come, and uh, there'd be more prizes
from sponsors. Also Diggers then always sends something and lots
of prizes, and then they did lots last year and
previous years, so usually a detector along with pinpointer or
(13:22):
two and and lots of other goodies. So the Diggers
then again going to be another sponsor also have Texas
Cash magazine. They're going to be giving away a free
uh subscription to their magazine which if you're not familiar
(13:43):
with that, it has a lot to do with arrowheads
and stuff like that. Which there they get a ride
up on my hunt last year in there as well,
so he said he would do another ride up again
this year on the hunt and stuff, so there'll be
another spots are right there. And then I met up
with a guy the other day by Have a Chance
(14:04):
that lives in the town where I live, and we've
got to talk in and he's telling me he does
leather work and so he's interested in coming and being
having a booth there to sell some leather goods and
also does a lot of custom stuff. So like you know,
how for what we do, you know, like knife sheaths,
(14:28):
there are something you know that we want to carry
on our person when we're out detecting and it's always
great to have those custom things and custom belts and
custom bags and custom leather backpacks and all the stuff.
He was showing me a bunch of the stuff him
and his wife makes. So there'll be another one, and
I'm trying to think what others, but kind of the
(14:49):
norm of what you know I had there last year.
I think he will try to make it again to
have his booth, which he's got metal detecting supplies, which
is always great. He always runs great specials and deals
if you're needing anything like that detecting needs while you're there,
(15:11):
and pointers had hand diggers, et cetera, and also ex
Caliber tools that talked with him, and I think he's
going to try to make it as well, so you
know how, he always has some amazing stuff. So super
excited about that. And that's what I've got so far.
If anyone's interested in being a sponsor, they're welcome to
(15:33):
contact me. Of course. They can go to my website
gypsydigs dot com, go to my Facebook page Gypsy Jewels,
or also my Facebook group which is zero discrimination just
you know, tegnnoposts. If you need to send me a
message I don't always if you're not friends with me
on Facebook, it'll make a message requests. I don't always
(15:56):
see those, so I'm sure there's a creative way to
find me. Or go to my website and email me,
message me from there.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
And say same thing with Instagram. We did, I did.
I just realized that that there's like three other folders.
So yeah, so you definitely if you're messaging her on Instagram.
You know, I don't know what to say comments on
a post and then say hey, I sent you a message.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Maybe hey, such a message or something. Yeah, there's plenty
of ways to find me, but probably easiest way would
just be, uh, go to gypsydigs dot com and then
there's a little thing there says contact, fill out the contact,
write your message, and I'll email me. So anyway, I
just had someone message with me a while ago. They
(16:47):
just said they signed up for the hunt. Husband and wife.
They came to my hunt last year, so they're really excited.
And then I had two more people last week. They
actually sent checks in because they don't do any of
the online stuff. So I said it was fine, So
if you need to do that, you can do that. Well,
(17:08):
so already got people signing up and getting ready, and
it will be here before you know it. That's the thing,
you know, how that goes blink your eyes a couple
of times. You're gonna try to get right. Still, gonna
try my best to get Amanda down there. We shall see.
(17:32):
I know it'll be more depending on your work and
if you can get away, but I'm gonna try my best,
so we shall see.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
Nice. Well, that's all very exciting. That's all very exciting.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Very exciting. As for what I'm doing right now on
the road, I'm actually with my co host for the
TV show that I'm working on, so I can't say
too much about it right now, but I'll be making
some shorts from probably Colorado, do a little metal detecting
while in there, and so I'm sure everybody will be
(18:11):
seeing some of my posts. And also I'll be making
some more stuff for my about my hunt, more information
just to keep in minded people so they can get
signed up and locked in, get their tickets now before
you know time gets away from them and send it
(18:34):
closed and sold out. So we will do our best.
So yeah, fun adventure as always, I will be I
was just in Kansas City and took a picture of
a really neat old building. You know me, I love
(18:55):
the old buildings, the old properties. So anyway, yeah, I
did pull over right now, pulled over, uh to do
the recording for the podcast. And there's a really neat
old farm across the way that I would love to
meddle to, but not any time to stop nest but
(19:16):
it's gonna really need old farm with the silo and
really cool. I'd love to go medal to techt.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
That's what you pulled over next to? Like the best place?
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Yeah? How did I pull over to next to a
perfect place? And there's a cornfield behind it? It would
be nice, but not enough time. Got to hit the
road as soon as I'm through recording here and get
back on the highway and get to our destination before
it gets too late and dark. Nice. Well that's six
hard driver.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
We appreciate you catching up with us and.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
Yeah, well I hope you're able to get out and
do something.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
Thanks. Me too. Might be doing a yard tale this weekend,
so maybe i'd say maybe I'm to find treasures, but
they'd be my own that I I shoved away somewhere. Yeah,
yeah I might. Yes, I'm doing a cleaning we're going through.
We're getting rid like it's great.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
Okay, yeah, so something's great feeling though it is.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
It is, And I've found a lot of things that
I thought were gone or missing or whatnot, so that's
always fun as well. But yeah, hopefully I'll get out eventually.
I contemplated it this weekend, but the tides and everything
nothing time wise worked out. So but we'll get there.
Follows around the corner. I can hear it knocking. Yeah,
(20:49):
so I.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Can hear it knocking. It's weird. That's seventy seven degrees
here where I'm at, which is totally different from what
I'm used to. It would be eighty nine or ninety.
We're ninety three.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
Yeah, we are right now.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Yeah, it's crazy. It's kind of weird for me anyway,
kind of weird. But yeah, I hope you're able to
get out. I hope our listeners are able to get
out and do some treasure hunting. And now it's going
to start cooling off more that they're able to get
out even more. I've sure been hankering and go to
(21:26):
the river. My friends Zola and Theren and Scott and
buying me to the river last week, Zola ended up
not making it because she was doing her own treasure
hunting buying you know what do you call them? Buying
those storage units? So he bought a storage unit. So
(21:48):
I can't wait to hear about what treasure she found.
But AnyWho excited about that? And uh, anyway, I can't
wait to always hear about that sort of thing. And
then uh, of course, uh, my friend Barren and Scott
(22:13):
got out in the river and they found some They
found some rings, which is always nice. I think some
silver rings. So I missed my my river river hunt.
And uh, but oh well I did get out to
(22:36):
the river along a river in Missouri yesterday and did
a little swinging, but you know, just modern stuff. But
it was still fun. Get out for a hot minute.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
Nice and definitely keep the eyeballs going to because you
never know what you'll spot.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
Oh you never know. You never know, I no never know.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
All right, Well, you get safe to your United States
a nation and.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
Chatroom. All right, okay, you all have a great great
night and happy honey, good night all, good night everyone.
(23:25):
M hm.
